De discussie over invaren is opgevlamd met het amendement van NSC en BBB voor instemmingsrecht: deelnemers moeten zélf zeggenschap krijgen over hun pensioen, in een referendum over invaren of met individueel instemmingsrecht.
Eric Bergamin constateert met spijt dat uitsluiten van zeggenschap heeft geleid ‘tot een voor de sector ongekende polarisatie’. Roland de Greef vindt een referendum op dit moment niet het juiste middel. Als het parlement dit tóch wil, draai het dan om, is zijn voorstel: maak invaren tot default. Deelnemers hebben wél voldoende zeggenschap, aldus Erik Lutjens. Mits goed onderbouwd is invaren juridisch ‘safe’, stelt hij. Niek Peters wil nuance in de invaardiscussie brengen. ‘Er zijn verschillende tinten grijs’.
