Timescape is an opportunity for adults who experience isolation for whatever reason to come together, in a gentle, supported, welcoming environment. set within the beautiful South Downs National Park. Brian Robinson has been a volunteer at the town centre Garden for 20 years this year and has done most roles there - photography, the newsletter and now wardening - meeting and greeting . 

He drives in from Godalming and enjoys his time in the garden and will carry on.

He talks about being a volunteer, what the Garden is and why they need some helpers to open and close the gates on a rota.

The Petersfeld Men’s Shed has many activities - wood and metal working, bike repair, music, computing and community projects in schools and charities; they're just completing bird boxes for a starling project and shows the tensegrity table a member has just made.

An application has gone into EHDC to purchase Penns Place to turn the building into a permanent home for alternative provision and home education groups.

South Downs National Park have allocated the site for 35 homes in their draft Local Plan, but Dan and Sharon Destecriox  feel it would better serve Hampshire as learning hub

The Petersfield Society produces a monthly report on the overall cleanliness of the town. It covers litter, overflowing bins and other things such as street furniture.

This week, we are at the British  Red Cross Shop in Swan Street to find out all about how the shop operates.

It was a very wet day outside, but we had the chance to speak to the shop manager Vicky, along with her band of volunteers.

A major (though largely internal) renovation of St Peter's Hall, in the Town's conservation area, opposite the Museum, has been granted planning permission.
