7月20日投開票の参院選で当選を果たした参政党のさや氏（43）が結婚していたことが「週刊文春」の取材で分かった。
さや氏といえば、参院選の東京選挙区で現職の自民党・武見敬三氏や立憲民主党・奥村政佳氏を抑え、元スポーツ庁長官の鈴木大地氏（自民）に次ぐ第2位で当選を果たした人物だ。
