Today, the front runners for the Democratic and Republican parties are old men—old. One is 77, and the other is 80. One has been in office for over 40 years and can no longer conjugate a sentence, and the other, who has over 91 indictments against him, is in court every other day. I don’t see either doing anything for democracy or our country. As a mother, this makes me concerned about the kind of country my children—and all the children of the next generation—will grow up in. So, as I wrote in my recent op-ed piece in the Boston Globe, I believe that the GOP should dump Trump and rally around Nikki Haley.
In this episode, I share my recent op-ed piece in the Boston Globe, where I argue that the GOP should dump Trump and nominate Nikki Haley. I speculate on the future of the Republican Party and explain how Nikki Haley is the best, principled conservative candidate with executive, legislative, and international experience. I discuss how Nikki Haley could appeal to a broader range of voters and potentially rebuild respect for Republican principles. I also emphasize the importance of nominating a leader who can build majorities, control spending, and give Americans hope for the future.
“There is one clear path to victory for Republicans: a principled conservative willing to take on the powerful and stand up for working families in America.” - Jennifer Nassour
