Oliver Gaadista shared that he wrote this song in one sitting for about one hour.
He had the intention of writing a song for the 90th birthday of the Convenor of the FilPressSydney, Jaime (Jimmy) Kelly Pimentel. He intended to write it two days before the surprise party for Jimmy but he didn’t get around it one day before the event.
Oliver said that before he even started writing, he knew I had to do it in Country style. He thought it’s appropriate as it tends to be more personal, simple and honest. He did it in Tagalog because Jimmy is a real advocate of Filipino culture plus he always find it fun to play with Tagalog words/phrases.This is just a simple song with two intentions. One, to introduce Jimmy to the listeners and second to genuinely greet him with a happy birthday.
