Speaker 1 (00:03):
Welcome into the Ravens Press Past podcast. The Ravens are
getting ready to face the New York Jets on Sunday,
and after practice today we had a chance to hear
from head coach John Harball.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Appreciate you guys being here. They're gonna be Toddyana here today.
She's been honored this October as the Ravens Latino Youth
Honors nominee by the NFL, and it recognizes an athlete
for their academic and athletic excellence in the Latino and
Hispanic community. It's pretty awesome. She was chosen to represent
the AFC North at one of the eight finalists, winning

(00:36):
a trip to the Super Bowl in an academic scholarship.
So pretty awesome accomplishment. So congratulations, fantastic. It's an honor
right there. Great to have you here. Great job, great job.
We're proud of you.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
All right.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
What questions you have, John, you didn't see them more
out there?

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Was this something similar to the last week for times,
well he didn't practice the one day.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Yeah, same type of situation, John, could you.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
Collaborate You had said the other night that the other
day that Kean Martin State overnight in Cleveland, do you
have any more information about that?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Yeah, it didn't turn out to be a serious thing.
It was some concern about putting them on the plane.
They wanted to do some tests and it didn't turn
out to be a thing that was a problem that way,
So we flew back the next morning just.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
To go back expect.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Yeah, I really don't have any information on that, as
far as the any more information public information I want
to share on any of those guys. So guys Week eleven, Uh,
guys play. It's a physical nature of the sport. Some
guys don't practice on Wednesday. We'll try to get everybody
available for Sunday that we can, and I will see
as the week goes on. You know, who becomes available.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
How much does the fact that you're playing two games
in five days coming.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
It's the same, it's the same, It's always the same.
I mean, all the questions are are just is what
it is. I mean, it's the football, you know, it's
it's challenging and I do appreciate the questions, but it's
really nothing I can tell you. I mean, guys, some
guys can practice, some guys can't. Some guys would rather
hold out and get him ready to go. And this
thing is about the fall apart. It's a little shaky here,
you know, And you know that's that nice. So yeah,

(02:12):
this one, this this one needs a day off. It
needs a rest day. It needs a rest day right here.
But I I just I get it, you know. But
it's just kind of it's the nature of the deal.
So and I know that's Lamar. You know, it's our quarterback.
I understand how important it is. And you know it
wasn't his best interest in practice today. And we'll see
we're at tomorrow.

Speaker 5 (02:31):
Just to sell back at practice today like Marlon or
is he kind of on the same trajectory to come back.

Speaker 6 (02:36):
When did not lead after the day?

Speaker 7 (02:38):
All was he?

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Uh, I don't know if it's the same trajectory exactly.
He was on his own trajectory. He had a toe injury,
and uh, he looked good today in practice. I can
tell you that Marlon did too.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
You heard him the holds a little word about the hurricane play.
He said of his you who when it came up
with that play?

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Marlin said that, huh.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Was that the case?

Speaker 4 (03:10):
And where how did it come to be for you
to talk about?

Speaker 2 (03:16):
It's the truth is I mean really, the way it
works is and everybody is involved, you know, and so
there's a lot of good plays. There's a lot of conversation. Uh.
It probably was born off the Rams game, you know,
but we've been talking about it before and people over

(03:37):
exaggerate defending the quarterback sneak and you'd hope that plays
like that or the Lamar play, the toss play would
be plays that would loosen people up a little bit,
you know, and the quarterback sneak. So we'll see how
that affects that part of it too, you know, going forward.
So it's just part of the give and take. But
you know, everybody's involved in it. All. The coaches did
a good job, players did a good job. So kind

(03:59):
of moving on, you know, in the next one, the
next one name hurricane. Uh. We have other plays that
are in that same kind of a deal that have
weather names. So it just kind of fit in the
uh the package there's a package.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
Name tornado or monsoon out there.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Tornado's yeah, those are both they are in the HOPPERA
Tornado and Monson are both in the hopper.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
They are Oh yeah, John, really, I know you answer
a question about the offensive line on Monday. But you know,
when you have a performance like this past weekend, you
have a great pass rusher like Miles Garrett, how in
the evaluation process that you kind of separate Okay, we
like what you did on this rep and this rep

(04:42):
or Okay, this is Miles.

Speaker 8 (04:44):
Garrett being you know, an all pro type player.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Do you have a process by which you kind of
separate or great on a curve when you go for
grants against a great pass rusher?

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Yeah, I think you do. You understand, you understand the
challenge of the play. I mean, every play is graded,
every play is evaluated, and and and just even more
than that, it's just a conversation that we have because
you know, there's it's just it's a it's a collaboration
between coaches, players, players players, coaches coaches and you're trying

(05:19):
to do the best you can. And we had a
lot of really good plays executed out there. Miles Garrett
got blocked a good number of times. But uh, you know,
just you look at each play for what it is
and you try to apply what you learn going forward
to the next game and keep rolling. That's what you do.
The coach.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
We've seen a lot of improvement on the defense.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
The second aary, what do you see in the chemistry
between a Logi Gilman and Cal Hamilton that have you
made improvements on that area? Yeah, it's been great. I
mean those guys have done a great job. I love
I love the uh, I love the collaboration between those
two guys in Malachi. You don't put them right in
the same category. The whole defense. I think the whole
defense is is definitely gelling together in terms of communityction,

(06:01):
in terms of kind of working together, the timing of
the disguises, the way the blitzer are working, the patterns,
the way they're being run. I just think there's a
lot of good cohesion going on right now. We got
to keep building on that. We're gonna get tested again
this week in different kind of ways, so we just
got to keep growing. And and the other thing is
like every game is different, every play is different. You

(06:21):
really it takes you take a lot of things going forward,
but there's really not as many like threads that really
keep running through the whole season. It's really every game
is its own deal, and so you play the game
as best you can, you try to win the game.
You put that game away and you go to the
next game, try to play the game as best you can,
try to win that game. That's really how it works.
They kind of stand on their own.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
Doing Raymont going just how quickly being able to get.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
A really please I mean this, Uh not surprised because
we've heard so many good things about them, but even
better than advertised kind of guy he is, how smart
he is, uh even you know, physical talent, all those
different kinds of things. To see him go back to Cleveland,
you know, and his kids are there and get a
chance to play in a game like that game he
kind of grew up watching. You know, he's from Saint

(07:08):
Ignacius over there. So very very cool moment.

Speaker 6 (07:12):
I learned.

Speaker 9 (07:12):
Prepare for every quarterback that you're going to face on
a roster, but when there is a sudden change like
the Gjets and then you have a short game with
Cins Navy and the unknowns but Burrow, Yeah, is that
an added layer, just extra work behind the scenes to
get up to speed on.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
The It's yeah. You got to try to just determine
the I guess it's like grading on the curve. You know,
you just got to kind of determine you to scale
it out and how much do we want to impact
our game planying, or how much does it need to
Last week it didn't impact us at all. This week,
we know it's going to be tie route, so that
helps us. But we also know that, you know, justin
fields could very well come into game and play certain

(07:46):
plays or packages or whatever, so we've got to be
ready for that too. Next week is just kind of
up in the air. It's a Thursday night game. Yes,
we're preparing for it already behind the scenes, and we
don't know which quarterback we're going to get. The good
news is we know them both. We've played against him
a lot. But now now our people are looking at
you know, how they uh, how they fit into the

(08:07):
offense basically that they're running. But we won't look at
that until until Monday.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
And I know you mentioned Monday.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
You appreciate Tyrod Taylor's lungevity of his career.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
You know him, played against him, you played with him.

Speaker 4 (08:19):
How much How far back do you kind of take
the knowledge of him versus just look at what he's
done recently and how has he grown over his career.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
I guess you go back as far as you can remember,
you know, and I can't remember a lot, but I
remember enough, I guess, and really, uh, you just take
it for what for what you need to do to
play your best defensive football against their offense in this game.
So it's mainly what he's done this year, but we
all we also track of course on all players, we

(08:49):
track tape back, uh, and we do go back tape.
So you know, he's a heck of a quarterback. He's uh,
he's played well for them this year already. You know,
he's done a really nice job. We respect him greatly
and we know it's a big challenge to defend, you know,
Tyrod Taylor, that offense.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
What you were saying about, you know, speak eleven.

Speaker 4 (09:08):
It's physical. Guys get thinged up in the course of
the season. For the last couple of years.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
We've had a late.

Speaker 7 (09:14):
Five this year.

Speaker 10 (09:15):
You know, you've got a much You're really heard.

Speaker 4 (09:16):
That's something when guys are are dealing with these things
later and you've got to kind of manage it, whether
it's he's practices, staff counts, whatever the case makes you.
You've got to kind of keep those things in mind
to a ginuary.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
Yeah, definitely, I mean it's it's an individual type thing.
You try to keep practicing at a high level, especially
in terms of sense of urgency and intensity of attention
to detail. But you know, different guys are in different places.
Marlon was out there today. It was a little different
for Marlin than maybe some other guys, just with his
hand and everything. So it's individualized.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
Products series recovering.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Yeah, he's doing well. I'd say he's right on schedule
and he's getting close. He's getting close. Same thing for
ar Darius. They're both getting close.

Speaker 9 (10:00):
John.

Speaker 4 (10:01):
I know it's just a limited use. But Trenton Simpson,
when you line up up outside, he's gotten pressures and
had some good results there. Is that Is it possible
that for outside rusher is potentially a long term home
for him.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
In this Well, the nice thing is the versatility, says
would say, yes, because you can We've already shown you
can put him out there and he can do a
good job with it. So to your point, uh, yeah,
I mean he looks good out there. And the fact
that he can line up at you know, really pretty
much any linebacker position and be put on the edge.
That's that's a big. Uh, that's a big that's a
big plus. You're two more.

Speaker 9 (10:37):
To belie even ask you about every Dellers in a while.

Speaker 8 (10:39):
What kind of progress has he made over the last
couple of weeks since he's got clear the uh.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
You know past WoT to do all that?

Speaker 2 (10:45):
He's made very good progress, very quick progress. You know,
it's only been about three to four weeks. One of
the weeks was a no padd it was a Thursday
night week. I think his first week was a Miami game, right, so, uh,
I would say he's made uh, excellent progress and and
he's getting pretty close to being ready to play great.

Speaker 6 (11:07):
Thanks.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
We also heard from better and outside linebacker Kyle van Noy.

Speaker 8 (11:20):
So how much of the difference do you think it
is having Tyrod Taylor?

Speaker 6 (11:25):
I'm sure you've played against them before in your career.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
Is that an old suggestion? Right there? There we go, experience,
there you go, there you go.

Speaker 9 (11:38):
How does that change things them going from a Tyro
going from justin fields.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
Yeah, I think we've got to be ready for everything.
Tyrod obviously got named the starter, but they can always
have a package for field, So we're going to be
ready for everything. Tyrod. He's he's done a good job
everywhere he's gone. It seems like he's always had something
go against him, somehow, some way in his career, but

(12:03):
he still finds a way respect him and all that
he's put into this game. He's a season vet, and
then he's gonna be ready to come out and show
what he can do. Talented team, Talented O line. They
got a lot of high draft picks in that O
line and a former Raven in there. Simpson has done
a good job running the ball with Breys Hall. They're

(12:27):
collective group that works really really hard to try to
do everything right, and their run games very explosive, and
I think they believe Tyrod gives them the best chance
through the air. And we're excited to have that opportunity
and get back to playing a home game in front
of our fans. You know, we have a chip on
our shoulder with that we haven't performed well enough for

(12:50):
our fans and ourselves in our own house, so we
want to go out there and do what we can
to get a dub Uply, are you sure? Okay? I
don't know. Everybody looks at all the grade stuff, so
who knows?

Speaker 1 (13:09):
What do you think?

Speaker 3 (13:10):
I mean? I think we've always done a good job.
I feel like we've been double team chip max proed
a lot. That's what teams have done since I've been here.
A lot of teams try to chip and slide the
whole line, and you go back and look the Browns.
You can go back look at Chicago this year even

(13:31):
the Rams. Rams hadn't shown it in a long time,
and they even used it. So a lot of teams
are doing that, and you know, we're doing a good
job of still staying active. Guys are coming alive. Travis
Jones is really, you know, playing good ball. Dre Draymond
Jones for nobody knows who Dre is. H He's come
alive since he's been traded. And then you know, last week,

(13:54):
I got a little bit more active, got a little
bit more one on ones, and so it's been fun
just putting it all together. I think we're just playing
more complmary football. I feel like earlier in the season,
the rush had times where they were doing good and
then the back end or the back end was doing
good and the rush wasn't there and we weren't marrying

(14:15):
it together. And I feel like the last couple of
weeks we've really put it together and played as a unit,
because that's what you got to do stop in the past,
as well as stopping the run. You got to really
marry up everything and be all on the same page.

Speaker 4 (14:27):
Well, like a while ago, and obviously you know a
lot of games ago you said, you know this, this
defense needs to get its cracked together. We talked about
the comunity between the back and in the front. Was
that what you were talking about. Other work has kind
of come.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
Along with it. Yeah, I don't think I use that word,
but appreciate it. I think it's just playing complmary football.
I think it's we weren't complimentary football as a team.
I think it was dominant on one side of the ball.
And I would say recently we've been able to put
two to two together. And I know everyone wants to
blow out VIC. I think everyone does. But then when

(15:02):
you have a game like that the Browns on the road,
even though we're past that game, we're moving on to
the Jets, it's just the compromary football at the end
of the game where we're getting stops and then the
offense gets the ball and it's punching it in. If
we can do that at a high level, we'll be
happy going forward. And I think if we continue to
do the little things that we've been doing over the

(15:23):
last couple of weeks, uh, we can continue to have success.
Wow Yeah, sorry, babe, But you know it's that one
to know mentality of just you know, doing whatever you
can to win this week. And I think we're going

(15:44):
to continue to try to write the ship that we've
been doing, but we're definitely not satisfied of where we're.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
At and dream on and as their personalities.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
Yeah, I think they fit in great. Two different personalities
but the same at the same time. As confusing as
that is, Lowe's brought an awesome demeanor to the room,
to our whole team. I mean, he was elected a
captain last week. That just speaks to who he is
as a person and a player. He's done a tremendous

(16:18):
job for us, and you know, he's been able to
settle down the back end, which is what they needed,
and he's helped settle down the whole defense. You know,
Kyle's been playing closer to the line, Malachi has been
able to play more of the back end safety role
and so it's been really really good mixed low can
do it. All and then Dre he's been amazing, just

(16:41):
that kind of pissed off attitude. You like it a
D lineman. I don't like nice D lineman. I like
D lineman that haves some crap to him, like you
just said. And I think he does a good job
of having a high standard for himself and wants to
play really good football. And we love that very.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
Giving your longevity in the league, there we go hundreds
of players.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
How unique is Kyle Hamilton in the course of your career?

Speaker 3 (17:11):
Yeah, I mean he's he's one of one. I put
him in a separate category. He really, Uh you know,
I I enjoy talking about Kyle because he's not only
a good player, he's a really good human too. Just
really does everything you want on a football field and
off just I think it said it. When I first

(17:33):
got here, he was the most mature second year player
I've ever been around. And now he's turned it into
a veteran himself. Uh So he just continues to do
to do a good job of being a leader and
then just making plays. It doesn't matter you put that
guy a nose tackle, corner, edge rush safety. I mean,

(17:54):
he's going to get the job done.

Speaker 9 (17:56):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (17:56):
And you know, we all wish we could have all
eleven Kyle Hamilton's and we just want to try to
be like Kyle in that regards and make plays like
him and continue to make uh defenses feared. I mean,
he's really when you're out there, I know people can't
hear the communication of teams in old linemen and quarterbacks.

(18:17):
They're pointing at him, their scheming it up to stay
away and go away from him, and he's still is
making hay and doing damage. And it's awesome to play
with a player like that. I've played with amazing players,
and I put him, you know, at the top of
the list with the other one. If I had an
all team safety or you know, an all defense team

(18:38):
with past teammates, he's he's up, he's on. He's my
start and strong safety. That's for sure.

Speaker 5 (18:46):
Perspective to know all those positions that he plays and
he would execute this.

Speaker 8 (18:51):
How difficult is that?

Speaker 10 (18:53):
How do you summarize how they cover?

Speaker 9 (18:54):
Is?

Speaker 3 (18:55):
Well, I get to brag it by myself too because
I've done it too, but him at a different level.
I mean, he's all pro, all world he should be.
In the conversation of dpoy just the amount of jobs
he takes care of and do. He does it at
a high level, and he communicates he knows what everyone

(19:17):
else is doing. Every once in a while you gotta
remind him. But that's just something me and him have
and I'm just grateful to have a player like that
that trusts me and I trust him and then trust
within the whole defense. It's fun to play with a
player like that.

Speaker 10 (19:33):
Football fans know that traditions matter. They're what inspire us
to make ar masa in Tostito's the traditional way, starting
with whole corn kernels, no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives,
all to give you that perfect crunch. Discover your next
tradition this football season. Head to the store, grab your
Tostito's team bag and scan the code for a chance
to score an epic experience with the Baltimore Ravens. Tostitos
tradition matters.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
In the locker room. Today, we heard from tight end
Mark and who talked about his iconic touchdown run against
the Browns and turning the page to the Jets.

Speaker 8 (20:07):
Yeah, you know, I think right now, just you know,
for for me as continuing to focus on this team,
you know everybody in here and just continue to buy in.
You know, I'm obviously very humbled and excited about that.
You know, accomplishment. There's a lot that went into that,
but you know, just s week by week, taking one
game at a time, and I'm excited about that.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
On the on the road here for a while. How
excited are you to get back in front of your
home crowd and even try to get away Air Baltimore.

Speaker 8 (20:34):
It's gonna be great. You know, we know who they're
going to show up and show out. You know, I
know this whole team is excited to go out and
play a m and te big stadium and see the
fans and you know, put on a show.

Speaker 7 (20:44):
I think it was kind of talking earlier Ben Nooying
about how you guys want to show something of the
home fans.

Speaker 8 (20:49):
It's been kind of disappointing the way you guys have
gone at home and so far. Yeah, you know, we
take pride in in in our you know, our fan
base at the stadium. You know, I'm playing on that field,
so you know, we're ready to go. We've got a
great challenge ahead of us, and we're just focusing on
the day to day getting better and focused on the game.

Speaker 9 (21:06):
What can you say about this team?

Speaker 7 (21:07):
Is the way the season started to now have an opportunity.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
To be six and five back what you said it
was just what can you say about how he doesn't play?

Speaker 8 (21:15):
Just being resilient in the staying together. You're not get
too high, too down, or you know, or too down.
And I think it's a credit to everybody in here.
You know, it's it's easy to you know, point fingers
and do that all that sort of thing, but there's
none of that here. And that's the type of team
organization that we have. This is a bunch of focused individuals.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
How many times did people need to watch that touchdown
on a lot?

Speaker 9 (21:35):
Yeah? Yeah?

Speaker 8 (21:36):
I was telling Harve was like, I think I'm kind
of tired of seeing it, man, I'm ready to move
on and make the next play. So but it was
obviously an awesome play and you know, everybody did their
job and it was incredible. You know, so really really cool.
But again, excited about this week Jets.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
Did it feel like twenty miles per hour?

Speaker 8 (21:56):
Oh yeah, let was moving a little bit. I had
a little more juice in the tank, but saving.

Speaker 3 (21:59):
That for later.

Speaker 6 (22:00):
Of all, the big plays you have made.

Speaker 8 (22:01):
Is that the most response you've gotten as far as
people getting a one.

Speaker 9 (22:04):
Of you or showing it to you or, like you said.

Speaker 8 (22:05):
Just kind of shoving in your face. Possibly, yeah, possibly, Yeah.
I'm trying to think about other players right now.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
Mark.

Speaker 4 (22:14):
I think it was Bigger Mayfield who said he doesn't
talk to you muchs during the same But did you
get a lot of feedback from fellow players or alumni
about this flying.

Speaker 8 (22:22):
You know, I actually reached out to him this this
week and there wasn't really much of a response.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
So, well, what about the rest of the league for
the red zone issues?

Speaker 7 (22:32):
Again, last year one of the very best in the league,
and this year it's been a struggle.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
What what do you owe that to?

Speaker 3 (22:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (22:38):
I think, you know, for us just being able to execute.
That's that's really what it is. It's all about, is
making the right place at the right time. And you know,
I think that, you know, we've been getting better at,
you know, finding ways to get in the red zone,
and we're gonna continue to do that. We have so
many talented players and coaches on this team that we
continue to do our job. Make the right reads, make
the right you know, choice is whatever it may be.

(23:01):
We're gonna find reads in parts are.

Speaker 9 (23:03):
Part of the game.

Speaker 5 (23:04):
And you guys can have seven starters in the practice
held today. I know some guys are gonna come back
in similar situation with Lamar last week. But how much
is that on your mind of where you are at
in the season, And there's so much kind of you
to be mindful maybe when things aren't right that it
is okay to di look back a little bit during
the practice.

Speaker 8 (23:20):
Yeah, you know, always got to you know, know yourself,
you know as a player, and you know how you feel.
It's all about peaking on Sundays and we know that
and so that's what our goal is peak on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
We also heard from Pro Bowl center Tyler Wonderbott.

Speaker 6 (23:42):
At times, you know teams are gonna get theirs and
you just gotta try to limit as much as possible.
And that's what now as a as a unit, you
know you're striving to to limit as much sacks as
as you can. But it's a part of the game. No,
there's a lot that goes into sacks, but no, it's
not a determining factor in the outcome of a game.

Speaker 7 (24:05):
One game though, you know compared to some of the
first time you play Cleveland, much more effective, must have
been much more satisfying to the number of holes and
you know, plus seven plus eight runs and you guys
have in that game.

Speaker 6 (24:15):
Yeah, I mean there's always work and improvement that we
can build off of. But you know that's the goal is,
you know, to continue to try to limit the zero
one two yard games and try to get to you know,
second and six, second and five to be in better
positions because a team like that, you know, they thrive
off of second and longs and third and lungs. So

(24:39):
being effective in the run game each and every week
is important to allow you to be in better position
on the second and third downs.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
Tell there's something in the red zone and everything gets
kid danced, But what do you think is that being
and having success in that part of the field.

Speaker 6 (24:54):
I think number one thing. To be successful in the
red zone, you gotta be able to run the football effectively,
which you know, I don't think we have have been
able to so, and you know that starts with us
and the old line and in blocking better and and
putting guys in better position to score. But no, I

(25:14):
think you know, we have the talent, certainly the talent
to do. So that's an area of improvement. No, we
love Loop, but we need to get touchdowns.

Speaker 3 (25:23):
Down in there.

Speaker 6 (25:23):
I'd rather see him kick an extra point than a
field goal. So we're gonna continue to work on it,
continue to get better at it. And like I said,
we got the guys in the room on the offensive
unit to get the job done, and we just gotta
stay at it and keep working at it.

Speaker 3 (25:39):
Yeah, because last year, last year were the number one
rights on offense.

Speaker 8 (25:42):
I mean, you're sort of touchdouts.

Speaker 4 (25:45):
Do you think it does? It really does go back
to the run game, and when you could run the
game effecially, it makes everything so much easier to think.

Speaker 6 (25:50):
I mean I think, I think, Yeah, it certainly helps.
So just gotta find ways to find ways to get
the ball in the end zone. You know, if you
can't run it in, we gotta be able to pass
it in. We gotta be a protect and and you know,
if the team's trying to stop the run, then you
gotta be able to throw the ball in.

Speaker 7 (26:06):
Really mentioned that there's kind of a gentleman shoulder to
play ve home. You know, come to.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
Three game win streak is that something that's been talked
about this week about hey, going back home for a home.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
State year, let's make sure we win some GE's front
of the home grown.

Speaker 3 (26:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (26:20):
I mean, I think we're always, you know, we always
want to win in front of the home home crowd.
I don't know historically what our you know, record is
for home games, but like since I've been here, you know,
we've been pretty effective at home. But yeah, certainly this year,
new year, new team, let's get some win in front
of our fans.

Speaker 7 (26:38):
It's kind of a weird spot. And though you guys
are won four in a row, you get the Bengals
coming up on a Thursday night, short week, and in
between that's the Jets who struggle. They's traded away a
bunch of their best players. Outside looking in, you say, oh,
that's the definition of a trap game. How do you
guys make it? Doesn't get don't get the sense that's
an issue here, But do you address that.

Speaker 6 (26:56):
No, it's an NFL team with good players. I think
out of all their games, they've been one score games,
I mean at least ninety percent of them. So it's
a good team, a lot of good players on their team,
and you know we got to be fully prepared that
we're facing a good team.
