Speaker 1 (00:03):
Welcome into the Ravens Press Past podcast. The date is Friday,
November fourteenth, and today after practice, we heard from Ravens
head coach John Harbaugh ahead of the week eleven AFC
North matchup in Cleveland. So let's jump right in. Here's
what head coach John Harbaugh had to say.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Okay, good to see everybody here. Appreciate you being here.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Good practice, Big, big important game on Sunday in Cleveland.
We're preparing for it and we're looking forward to it.
I want to try to put our best foot forward.
Who questions you have?
Speaker 2 (00:38):
So, John, it looks like you more Yes, a couple
of days. I'm busy, all all full, go for Sunday.
Speaker 4 (00:43):
Yep. If if a shot can't go, you know, how
do you think you guys are coming, especially in the
same court, step up to fill that.
Speaker 5 (00:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
I feel good. I feel good about the guys. I
feel I think we're more deep. A receiver, you know,
t be the next next man up in that area
and and he'll be prepared to go if that's if
that turns out to be the case.
Speaker 5 (01:05):
To help Mike green Doe, we's always showed up on
the injury report, see him today.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
He's doing good. You know, we just couldn't practice today.
We'll see how he is tomorrow then into Sunday.
Speaker 5 (01:17):
So one guy that we haven't asked about, but he's
played the last three games is Tavi and Bryan coming
up from the prime to flat?
Speaker 2 (01:22):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (01:23):
What what is he brought to your defensive line rotation
and kind of understanding how it works with the elevations?
Is he going to continue to be in the frans
from guys.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
Yeah, we'll have to see how that goes. You know,
I have to make some see we just we'll have
to see what we decide to do with the the
personnel in terms of what's best for this game. But
he's definitely in the in the in the conversation, he's
played well all three games. He's been out there, brings
a lot of energy. He's a he's a he's a
you know, a fast switch kind of a defensive lineman.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
Had a couple of quarterback hits in the last game.
You know, I think he's really been a blessing for
us to have him. I'm really glad we have him.
Speaker 5 (02:00):
When you go against Miles Garrett and had a lot
of games against hasan.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
To be clear. I don't go against Miles Garrett. Thankfully, Miles,
we appreciate it.
Speaker 5 (02:13):
Have you change or is it just typical, like you know,
you have one guy sometimes have the strategy changed against them?
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Well, yeah, yeah, sure, because you can't. You can't just
stay the same. He figures you out pretty quickly. They
know what they're doing obviously, and they they It's not
just Miles Garrett, although I would say that in this
division obviously.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
There's high, high level pass rushers. He's one of them.
He's not the only one they have. You know, They've
got They've.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
Got guys on both sides, just like just like the
Bengals do and just like the Steelers do. But Miles Garrett,
I don't think there's been better, you know, never been
more talented and more dangerous, uh players that you have
to block and who can single handedly wreck any play,
any play.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
And that's really what you got to kind of keep
your eye on. So yeah, you have to become just
to where he's at at all times.
Speaker 5 (03:02):
John, we were a little far away, so but we
look like it's our Darius Washington was out there in
the workout.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
How is his how what kind of.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
Progresses he made?
Speaker 2 (03:10):
And how good is you can see him on the
rough team like data basis.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
Well, reports have been real positive. Talking to Ad, he's
moving around really well. He feels good. So this was
the first week out as far as getting on the
grass and running around. He hasn't been cleared to practice yet,
but it seems like we're getting close to that point,
so hopefully, hopefully soon it'll be out there practicing.
Speaker 4 (03:30):
