Speaker 1 (00:02):
Welcome into the Ravens Press Pass podcast. The date is Friday,
December nineteenth, and today we heard from head coach John
Harbaugh one more time before the Ravens host the New
England Patriots under the Lights on Sunday Night Football. Without
further ado, here's Coach Harbaugh.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Things like that that the players are doing with groups
that they're working with. It's really awesome to see. So
what question you have look liked you guys heard from Jordan. Yeah,
I guess there's a rainstorm coming. I don't know if
it ended up hitting us or not, but there was
going to be a big storm blowing in. So we
decided to beat it in here and not deal with

(00:43):
the field getting real sloppy.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Sure, obviously every team has their own personnality.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
And we were out here for about like we were
outside for about the price seventy percent of practice, and
we brought in it Dan for red zone for their
own personality, owned personnel.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
But when you watch the Patriots and you see kind
of some fighting able to influence on him and sort
of some of.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
The similar teams to prepare for when Mike Rables go compennis, Yeah,
I mean, I do you know they from a scheme standpoint,
for sure. You know, uh, we're real familiar with it,
you know, I mean Dean was there. Mike's you know,
kind of Dean Fitztein's person. You know, that's very similar
scheme to what Dean was doing there when he was there.

(01:23):
Of course, Mike's a defensive coach, so he's got a
philosophy that he sticks to that does a great job.
I think they're very well coached. And then offensively, you've
got Josh, you know, so that's New England, That's what
they've been doing all those years. It's a similar system.
Josh his fingerprints all over that. And of course Mike
was there with Josh together, so you can kind of
kind of see the imprint on what they're doing.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
John.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
They already bullying for Sunday, just helping a loss of
that really good player, Western Michigan guy Bronco member, wife
of Western. You may know that. I've said that a
few times and they won the MAC Championship this year.
Did you know that the Broncos won the Mac Championship? So, uh,
kind of proud of that. We've played him a lot.

(02:05):
He's a really good player, really underrated player. Probably you know,
he's one of those guys that people want to make
assumptions about that all he does is go out there
and make every single tackle. You know, That's kind of
who he is. So it's a factor. But they've got
a lot of good players on defense. They play really
well together. They got a really good linebacking corps. Uh,
just a bunch of athletic guys, physical guys. So I

(02:26):
don't think it's going to change their style too much
at all. I think John's kind of precautionary people, the players,
John Jenkins, that's that's the illness related. I think he
should be okay by game day. But he was a
little flu bug going around, you know, and he got
it and found him. I think Justice Hill and if

(02:50):
Dos on their game, who you guy are? Is he is?
He supposed to beginning to come back after that? He is?
He is? It should be right there. I mean, hopefully
he'll be able to play. But you know, hats off
to the guys into Machine and he's played really well too,
but uh, Justice coming back is a real possibility next
week or the latest, I would think a week after that. Okay,

(03:15):
John is the next thing that popped up for POSEE
on the.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Inter report of the increas minor precautionary thing.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Yeah, he was full participation today. That was yeah, that
was a that was a deal where they wanted to
make sure just check it out, make sure he's feeling okay,
abundance of caution type of deal. And how she looked okay,
you know, I think she does going to be if
he will to see how it goes up until the game. Uh,
he was partial participation today, So I don't know. I

(03:45):
love to see.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Are you excited lost the games?

Speaker 2 (03:49):
I mean that it's it's in your hands, it's it's
right there. Yeah, We're we're just very determined. Very determined,
I would say, is the word. You know, we're we've
been We've been fighting all season, you know, backs to
the wall, and you know, here we are again. So
we've got a lot of stake. Our guys practice really
well again this week. I feel like everybody is all

(04:09):
in for whatever it takes. You know, let's skill play
our best football, try to play our best game of
the year. It's a really good team in our stadium.
We're excited about that, but we've got to go do it.
So I think we're determined.
