Speaker 1 (00:03):
Welcome into the Ravens Press Pass Podcast. It is Sunday,
October twelfth. The Ravens dropped to one and five on Sunday,
losing to the Los Angeles Rams seventeen to three at
M and T Banks Stadium. After the game, we heard
from head coach John Harpball.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
Obviously get a little tired of getting up here and
having this conversation. But we had our opportunities, We created
our opportunities, and we put ourselves in position where we
could have won that football game. Probably you could say
in some ways we should have won it, but we
didn't do the things that you have to do to
win the game, you know, and we made some critical
mistakes that cost us an opportunity to win the game.
(00:39):
And that's really what it boils down to. So that's
what we've got to get straightened out. That'll be the
key going forward. Within all that, there was a lot
of good things there that tell me that that we
can be the kind of football team that we want
to be for the rest of the season. And we'll
build on all those things. And like I told the guys,
we've got to be able to do is understand that
that you've got to understand how close you are sometimes
(01:01):
and you can't allow the weight of the disappointment or
the weight of the scrutiny. You can't allow that to
derail you, or to sidetrack you, or to push you
away from your goal. Because we can accomplish what we
want to accomplish. We can do it. We're the kind
(01:23):
of team that can do it. So we take that.
We take this the rest of this time. Now, we'll
practice on Tuesday and Wednesday, and there's plenty of things
we can work on. There's plenty of things we can
build on, which I'm happy about. And then we push
into next week and we gotta go. We gotta go
win the next game. All right, what question do you have.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
John, trying to quarterback?
Speaker 4 (01:45):
Where any thoughts of maybe going to Tyler a little
earlier than than what you didn't afford.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
Yeah, well, the plan, My plan was to play both
throughout the course of the game and as we went
through the game, as you feel the game, when when
you do when you make a change, it wasn't going
to be necessarily a change. It was going to be
Cooper then Tyler. It could have been Tyler than Cooper. Again,
you know it could have been any one of those things.
The way the first half went didn't seem to be
(02:10):
a moment to bring them out. Second half we had
a drive going, you know, and then we turned it over.
So I think you could say that maybe, but I
don't really necessarily think there was an obvious moment to
do that. But the plan all along was to play
both quarterbacks.
Speaker 5 (02:24):
John, I think only three teams have gone one, started
one and five going on to make the playoffs. What
you talk about things you can build on from this game?
What things do you kind of find as building blocks
the buy?
Speaker 6 (02:37):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Yeah, I mean, it's just so many things in the
game itself. I mean the players we have that we're
going to have healthy players coming back. I mean our
quarterbacks is going to be back. That's probably a big one,
you know, or a linebacker will be back, and then
all the things from the tape that we saw. I
thought our defense played pretty darn well against a high
powered offense. That was good to see. We needed to
see that. We added a safety. I thought that dynamic
(02:59):
would a good dynamic for us on defense. When you
watch that, you're probably gonna you're probably gonna feel pretty
good about that. When you watch that tape again. So uh,
and within that the way individual players played. So that's it.
When three teams have done it. Good good, What an opportunity.
Speaker 7 (03:16):
The tush push with with Mark there at the end
of the first half twice in a row. Did you
give any consideration to not going to a second street?
Speaker 2 (03:23):
Well, of course you do, But I feel like the
main consideration I think all of us would agree, every
single player and coach would agree that we should be
pushing that in there. It should get pushed in on
the first one, and if not the first one, it
should get pushed on the second one. So yeah, we
gave consideration. The fact that it didn't go in. I
think it's easy to criticize it, and I'll do the
same myself, you know, But I mean, come on, you know,
(03:44):
we should be able to put that in there. So
I'm disappointed in that one. Then the other play, you know,
I didn't love that play either, So.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
You think, John, why do you think they didn't work?
Speaker 2 (03:53):
So you want to we didn't get any push. I mean,
you've got to get pad and or pad and you've
got to get pushed, you know, and we didn't. We
didn't do it. Well, obviously, I mean we should. We're
big physical offensive line. We got big physical guys. Mark's
a big physical guy and you know he's pushing, so
we should. That should happen, you know. So we didn't
do it well. I can tell you that when you
do as well as Eagles do it, that's obvious. You know,
(04:14):
we're not nearly. We don't expect to be as good
as they do it necessarily. I mean, they're kind of
what they do. But we can do it well enough
to score from inside the one yard line, there's no
question about that. I give the Rams credit, but I
take I take. You know, that's on us. That should
get done everybody, every every person in that room. Tell
you the same thing for Bears as soon as that well,
(04:36):
I mean for sure, you know I'm saying so, but
you know, I don't know. That's how That's how life is.
Sometimes you can't predict everything. That's still the future, but
that's the hope.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
John.
Speaker 8 (04:47):
What did you say about kind of the transition for
the defense to go into more of a three safety Nickel?
Speaker 2 (04:51):
How to Gilman look and you know Hamilton playing close
to one. Yeah, that was kind of what I was
talking about. I really feel that that was a workforce.
You know, it was a good thing. It was something
that we we thought would be good, and it was good,
and we can build on that and then Marlin in
and out and kind of different different different options. It
gives us as far as all of our packages and
our blitzes and things like that. So it's a good
formula for us.
Speaker 5 (05:12):
How'd you feel overall about the besides the person goal
with the one the short yards execution, I think there
was also a second drive you had fourth and three
tough pass.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Thanks for bringing that up. You know, I thought we did.
I thought we did a lot of good things, you know,
That's what I'm saying. I mean, we can we converted
a couple of fourth downs. How many do we convert?
I mean too? And then we had penalties on a
couple more. Suretyred, you look at what Tyler and what
Coop did with the cadence, and our guys with the
cadence got to jump uh to maybe two other times perhaps,
Uh those are those are big man. Those are things
(05:43):
that we executed well. So there's a lot of good there.
Speaker 9 (05:46):
John at last week, if any staff changes might be
on the table, fans, well, that's that question again going
into the Buyo week.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
Where are you on that issue?
Speaker 10 (05:54):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
Maybe you could ask me specifics, I don't. I don't
really have any plans to do that. No, I don't
think there's any obvious move there that would make us better.
So appreciate you asking. It's a tough it's a tough one,
you know. I don't. I don't know why that always
comes up, really, you know. I guess maybe it's part
of it, But I really I love our guys. They
(06:16):
worked hard, and I think they're doing a good job
of coaching. I'm sure they want some things back to
you know, it's certainly certainly we can we can do
things better.
Speaker 7 (06:24):
John, do you have any idea of tedious Robinson with
the foot injury?
Speaker 2 (06:27):
Yeah, it's not good. He broke his foot, so it's
a bad one.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
John.
Speaker 5 (06:31):
Just to clarify on the on the three play sequence
from the one that Todd call all three of those
or did you step.
Speaker 10 (06:37):
In at any point on it on.
Speaker 5 (06:40):
The third one?
Speaker 2 (06:41):
Yeah, those are the plan calls. Those are calls that
get made.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
Next, we heard from running back Derrick Henry Derek now
with the team at one in five as a team.
Speaker 5 (06:57):
Do you feel even with that record, do you feel
all the goals that you would set for yourselves, uh
is still attainable for this team?
Speaker 3 (07:05):
Yeah?
Speaker 11 (07:05):
Man, I think, I mean still a long season. Still
got time to to win in the Vision and set
ourselves up to uh.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
Have a good season.
Speaker 11 (07:17):
I know we won in five doesn't look good as
far as picture wise, but still got a got a
lot of games left ahead of us, and like coach said,
we get some some of our guys back and you know,
let's let's go see where we laying.
Speaker 5 (07:30):
Derek, I know Lamar is obviously essential to what you
guys wanna do on offense, But even that being said,
are you surprised, I mean three points on the board
today for you guys, are you surprised if you weren't
able to do more without Lamar today?
Speaker 3 (07:43):
I mean, yeah, definitely stings. You know, to have just
three points on the board as a offense.
Speaker 11 (07:50):
You know, we have we pride ourselves and have a
lot a lot of playmakers and be a being able
to score points, which we didn't do today. You know,
we got down there and you know they held us
out uh of the end zone. Those those three plays
which we all know we have to be better and
get the ball in there on the on the one
yard line, and that's unacceptable.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
As far as us.
Speaker 11 (08:12):
And yeah, we just gotta watch the film and there
was a lot of good on the film, but no
three points. It's not gonna cut it anywhere in this league.
And you know we all know that. And it just
wasn't good today. You know, a defense, they'll hellup a job.
They played their butts off, so you know, I wanna
give him a lot of credit, but you know, as
far as offense, we definitely gotta be better.
Speaker 7 (08:34):
To that point, h the s the three cracks from
the one yard line looked like at one point you
kind of threw your hands up and sort of disbelief.
What did what did you see on the fish push
plays in in what happened on the on the play
or do you count fall?
Speaker 3 (08:45):
I mean, they were just better.
Speaker 11 (08:48):
They were just better at the line of scrimmage, better
all overall on on defense, better than us to stop us.
And we gotta be better. I give you gotta be better,
probably myself on being physical and on the one year
all laws, you you mean, you g you gotta get
it in there. Two instances where we have not getting
it in so you know, that kind of pissed me off.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
But I can't change.
Speaker 11 (09:12):
Nothing about it now and do it. I wanna get
out another opportunity to try to get it in there.
But we gotta be better. I mean, that's it's just unacceptable.
It's not good enough as far as us as a
whole and all my s, my myself as well. I
I need to get it in there. So just w
watch the film and try to get better. But like
I said, just seemed like repetative thing, which is you know,
(09:34):
kind of frustrating. But I mean it's it's over now.
It's just watch the film and get better.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
Man.
Speaker 8 (09:41):
So when when you do watch the film, do you
do you expect to see a lot of things that
you guys did do better in the run give than
you did the previous few weeks.
Speaker 11 (09:51):
Yeah, I mean I watch the film for for everything.
I'm really create criticuling myself more than anybody. But you know,
just watching h the overall picture of what we did good,
what you know, what we can do better?
Speaker 3 (10:03):
Well?
Speaker 11 (10:04):
I can do better, you know, my worst critic. So
I'm very critical of myself watching what I do. So
it's just, you know, it's just trying to look at
everything but mainly what I can do better.
Speaker 5 (10:14):
So the the turnover bug again today for the offense.
I know you dealt with that earlier in the season.
You know, what what is that group feeling like in
terms of how you guys are not taking care of
the ball.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
In these last few games.
Speaker 11 (10:28):
Yeah, I mean, we know if you turn the ball over,
you're gonna give yourself a chance to win. I mean,
I think we all understand that as pros. You know,
we we saw with with mine and in critical situations.
So once you have self inflicted wounds, it's hard to overcome,
especially in in this league. You know a lot of
good teams and you know their offenses is really good,
(10:50):
and you know the you know, the self inflicted.
Speaker 3 (10:53):
Womb always hurt.
Speaker 11 (10:54):
You know, just gotta not try to have those and
you know, uh, be better when we get another opportunity.
But you know, turnovers always, you know, give the other
team the better chance.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
We more there.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
You've played in some pretty packed environments in them the
TV just two weeks in a row now you've kind
of seen empty crowds on the fourth word. As a player,
it's how you know disheartening is that, uh, to see
your fans, you know, leaving early cause the.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
Games out of hands.
Speaker 11 (11:21):
Yeah, I mean we always appreciate the fans, you know,
through everything. We we all we know it's rough right
now and you know they wanna see a good p
a good product out there, and you.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
Know we haven't been displaying that.
Speaker 11 (11:35):
So them leaving early, you know, it's it's a giving,
but we wanna let them know that we gonna keep
working and you know, we gonna turn this thing around.
Now it's hard to believe being at one in five,
still a lot of football left. We appreciate, We appreciate
that support every single day, and we know, you know
the situation right now, We accept everything. But at the
(11:56):
end of the day, we gonna keep going to work,
We gonna keep having paid on another and and get
this thing turned around. I felt we still we still
got time, you know, just just believe in us. And
you know we were leaving each other. We won't get away.
We need to behind.
Speaker 7 (12:10):
Are you relieved at all that you guys have a
buy or do you want to what?
Speaker 3 (12:15):
Do you ideally want to have a game next week
which we play tomorrow? I mean, you have a couple
of weeks that we've had like this.
Speaker 11 (12:23):
You know, I always wish we can play the next day,
but that's not how it goes. It ain't basketball, So
you know you gotta wait.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
You bye.
Speaker 11 (12:31):
Lets guys rest up who needed and come back next week,
ready to go to work, get better through this week,
through the bad week, and then hit the ground running
when it's time to go.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
We got them.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
Actually, heard from defensive lineman John Jenkins, who had a
strip sack in this game.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
What would you say to you know when when the
teams won in five.
Speaker 12 (12:56):
A lot of people going out, Yeah right, writing you
guys off one it cr What would you say to
those who are quick to write you off at one acid.
Speaker 13 (13:05):
Everybody's entitled to their opinion, you know. The only thing
I do know is that I come to work every
day and I see a lot of guys who's hungry,
who put the work in. So long as I see
that every day from the guys in the locker room
and in the building an organization, it's tough to listen
to what people say.
Speaker 5 (13:24):
John, You you guys had moments of success. Obviously your
fumble recovery, the goal line stand late in the game.
You know, did it just cumulatively wear you guys down though,
trying to have to kind of come up with it
over and over again.
Speaker 3 (13:39):
No, we we enjoy it.
Speaker 13 (13:40):
Man. You know, you never know what happens is any
given Sunday, and we just try to live up to
our standards.
Speaker 14 (13:46):
You know.
Speaker 13 (13:47):
I'm new to the team, so when I got here,
I understood the standard and I'm just trying to get
get out there and do my one to eleven, you know,
So if we get opportunity to make plays, then you know,
that's what we call for and that's what we're gonna do.
Speaker 4 (14:00):
John zach Orr has taken a lot of heat with
how the defense has gone. I know your's your first
year here, but what would you say in his defense?
Speaker 13 (14:08):
I seen a lot of football. This is about my
thirteenth year. You know what happens, man. But at the
end of the day, Man Zach is a good, good DC.
I've been around a lot, and you know it it is.
He's just putting in the work and man, he's so
passionate about it. I stand behind him one hundred and
ten percent. So I don't know what people were saying.
I don't pay attention to it. But I know he
come to work and he put the he put the
(14:30):
work in, and it just takes time.
Speaker 3 (14:32):
You know.
Speaker 4 (14:33):
I know he's not the.
Speaker 5 (14:34):
Result you wanted.
Speaker 13 (14:34):
But is this a big step for the defense this
week's performance, you know, especially compared to last week, that
you can take some promising steps with you into the
bye week defensive. You know, as a football player, we
always told the turn, turn to the next space. You know,
we did a lot of good things out there, but
there's a lot of things we can fix, you know,
including myself. I need to do a uh a lot
better on my one to eleven. But uh hey, we
(14:57):
didn't win the game, so we just gonna work.
Speaker 14 (15:00):
Football fans know that traditions matter. They're what inspire us
to make armsa in tostedos the traditional way, starting with
whole corn kernels, no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives, all
to give you that perfect crunch. Discover your next tradition
this football season. Head to the store, grab your Tostitos
team bag and scan the code for a chance to
score an epic experience with the Baltimore Ravens. Tostitos tradition matters.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
In the locker room. We heard from a number of
players including do Safety, Alohi, Gilmot.
Speaker 10 (15:27):
Pretty good defense and we're we're close to being there,
so just keep building on it. The BIBI would be
good for us, and you know, get back to work.
Speaker 5 (15:36):
Apologies if you're asked us already, but when you got here,
you're talking about wanting to make a difference in whatever
way that looks like.
Speaker 14 (15:41):
What did you feel like that looked like today?
Speaker 10 (15:43):
Obviously, like I talked about earlier, giving the versatility and
flexibility for the defense, you know, giving Kyle Hamilton an
opportunity to do what he does, and then just being
a baller, being a hooper, going out there and executing
on a short notice, three days of learning a new
system and just going out in executing and playing ball,
you know, And that's the easy part. Like I said earlier,
(16:04):
that's what I do. I'm gonna go out there and
give that that you know, that extra offtitute towards the ball,
constantly around it, being a guy who's who's gonna find
that ball no matter what. So that's what I do,
and I'm excited to keep building on it.
Speaker 9 (16:17):
How comfortable were you out there today and the challenge
of that.
Speaker 10 (16:21):
Honestly, I felt comfortable. Like you said, it was tough
throughout the week prepping. It was long mornings, long nights, uh,
putting in extra time to make sure that I'm there.
The coaching staff did a great job helping me with
that transition. But when I get onto the field, that's
that's my comfort, that's my home, and that's that's what
I do.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
So I'm not When I'm out.
Speaker 10 (16:42):
There, I'm clear, I'm calm, I'm confident and just ready
to go.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
Rock actually read for this by Wee Field.
Speaker 9 (16:47):
I mean personally for the team that won a five.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
It's the type of research.
Speaker 10 (16:51):
Yeah, I mean personally, obviously, I'm transitioning.
Speaker 3 (16:54):
I got some things.
Speaker 10 (16:55):
I gotta figure out. Living out of a hotel right now,
so I'm trying to figure out where I'm gonna live.
I got family I gotta take care of so I
might go back and you know, make sure they're all
good to go. So I got a lot of things
on my personal life. But as as a unit, as
a defense, you know, obviously this is a a spot work,
but we kind of came at the right time and
(17:16):
you know, we're gonna take advantage of it, get back
in the lab, figure out what we can do to
tweak a little things to be you know, a good
to great to an elite defense. And it's a process,
I feel like. And you don't have to be elite now,
you have to be elite when the time is time
is right, and hopefully we can do that. Saying that
this defense is close, what are you seeing that.
Speaker 9 (17:39):
Are give you that perspective?
Speaker 10 (17:42):
I think, uh, just in my experiences playing six years
being around some a couple of good defenses, it's it's
a couple plays here and there. It's a couple uh
mental things that we can do better, maybe some techniques
that we can clean up to really shut in no
defense offenses. I just feel like the cohesiveness is there
(18:05):
is just a matter of when you turn it around,
When you everyone just buys in a little bit more
and gets back into what we can do to be
the best. And that's what we're here to do, and
I think we're in a good spot.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
We also heard from center Tyler Linderbon.
Speaker 2 (18:24):
So, how how big a hole is one in five
for you guys right now?
Speaker 6 (18:31):
I mean the only worst thing is oh and six.
So yeah, it's a it's a big hole. We're gonna
have to bounce back. Uh, to take some time and
reflect on this by week what we need to get
better at.
Speaker 3 (18:43):
And you know, we got eleven games left and try
to run the table.
Speaker 7 (18:48):
A couple of cracks you guys have from the one
yard line the hand of the first half? What happened
there and how kind of disappeariting is it finish?
Speaker 3 (18:56):
Yeah? It sucks.
Speaker 6 (18:58):
Got it to them. Well, that's that's tough for defense
to do, and they they executed it. Uh, we just
gotta execute better and get that one yard.
Speaker 9 (19:08):
I mean when you don't see the tush push because
you're in the middle of it, would you when you
come back and talk about it, what do Why do
you think it didn't work?
Speaker 1 (19:16):
Mm?
Speaker 6 (19:17):
Uh, just didn't get a yard. They they wanted it
more than us. Yeah, when it comes down to who
wants it more?
Speaker 9 (19:26):
Rue game though, certainly if they're much more effective than
what we've seen, what was different in that regard?
Speaker 3 (19:31):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (19:32):
Yeah, I mean I think you know, we running off
the ball a lot better today, working double teams, stressing
them out. Uh, just gotta find ways to finish when
we get in the red zone. You know, eliminate penalties
and eliminate turnovers. But you know, part of the guys
with you know kind of how we responded this week
and set the temple earlier with.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
The run game.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
Tell her what do you think the bye week will
do with this team?
Speaker 11 (19:57):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (19:58):
Good reflection and yeah, I have to take the opportunity
to get our bodies right to make a uh a
push for the eleven games left.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
Where do you guys turn this thing around?
Speaker 3 (20:11):
Absolutely? Absolutely? Where do you think is his team is
at mentally right? Now? Do you guys have to the boy? Uh?
Speaker 6 (20:18):
No, I mean obviously not where we wanna be, uh
record wise, but.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (20:24):
I felt like, you know, we were playing hard today.
We were playing up to our standard, if what we
wanted to do. But at the end of the day,
it's you can play as hard as you want. You
just gotta execute. We gotta work on execute and win.
In football, you hear a lot if if Lamar Jackson
comes back after the buy or when he comes back
create his part.
Speaker 3 (20:41):
How badly do you feel this this team needs Lamar back? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (20:47):
I mean it's Lamar Jackson. You know, he's the best
quarterback in the game. So he's certainly gonna help our
team out.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
Next we heard from quarterback Cooper Rush.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
Thank god, certainly going today. What was a little bit
different about that?
Speaker 6 (21:04):
You think?
Speaker 8 (21:04):
Yeah, those guys upron think our plan was awesome. Those
guys up front, you know a lot of you know,
we were getting some outside and one foot cut stretches,
stretches for Derek in there, and he he was saying
that thing and really impressive day for those guys up
front all around.
Speaker 9 (21:19):
Were you surprised you weren't able to get them build
off that with more play action success than with anything
more down the field, considering how well he was running.
Speaker 3 (21:27):
Yeah, we were running at me. He was working.
Speaker 8 (21:29):
We just kept showing ourselves on our foot today. You know,
penalties on time, we penalties, getting some third and lungs
in the red zones tough and then obviously give him
credit on the fourth down stop and the on the
goal line.
Speaker 3 (21:40):
You know, give them credit for that. But were you
surprised that they went to Toddler in.
Speaker 13 (21:44):
The full quarder?
Speaker 11 (21:47):
Uh?
Speaker 8 (21:48):
Maybe, I mean, I probably, Yeah, you don't think you're
coming out ever, but it's part of the deal.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
They wanted to put him in. He played great.
Speaker 8 (21:54):
He did tough going there in the fourth court after
sitting around all day and go there in tow Middrill's
was impressive.
Speaker 10 (22:00):
Us Now just so frustrating is it to have a
first drive like that in two straight games where you
marched on the field settle for a field goal, and
then you can't really get that drive like that going again.
Speaker 3 (22:10):
Yeah, it's just like I said, just shooting ourselves on
the foot. It's tough for those days.
Speaker 8 (22:13):
We feel like they didn't stop you and you kind
of stapped yourself penalties again, that that hurts. You know,
defense played great, special teams got short fields.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
We just had a capitalize. Cool.
Speaker 7 (22:25):
Cool, cool, But where do you think the mentality of
this team is going into the bye week now obviously
basing an uphield battle to try to make a run
in the post.
Speaker 3 (22:34):
Hey take the buy.
Speaker 8 (22:35):
You look at things and you know those bie weeks
are important. You can look at a lot, you get healthy,
kind of come out of it with a new refreshed
attitude and ready to go.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
We also heard from quarterback Tyler Huntley, what's.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
Your comfortability level?
Speaker 6 (22:54):
Get me in?
Speaker 9 (22:54):
Matt obviously spent so much time here, but haven't spent
a lot of time here this year, so to jump
on the field in this situation like it looked comfortable.
Speaker 12 (23:01):
Shro Yeah, you know, just trying to do what I
could do for the team, you know, you know, just
try to take advantage of the situation that was uh given,
and you know, just trying to make some players out there.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
That frustrating.
Speaker 9 (23:12):
Ultimately, he moved the ball really well, but unable to
to get to the get to the payder to get
the end.
Speaker 15 (23:17):
Gene Yeah, yeah, you know, you know it would have
been great, it would have got it in his own
but you know we did. We got a week to
prepare and now, uh just just get our mond right
and adjust our uh plans and just just get rid
of ready to h head for the rest of the season.
Speaker 8 (23:32):
Trying to think the past couple of weeks offensively given
I think it looked the past couple week's offensively.
Speaker 5 (23:38):
Just your familiarity with the offense and being here.
Speaker 3 (23:41):
Just pretty surprised that it kind of took that long
to get you to get you in man.
Speaker 15 (23:45):
You know yeah, uh h, I mean as playing as
a quarterback, uh, I mean you you you you working
to get a win, you know, I I wouldn't if
I was in there in a cool situation, you know,
I wouldn't wanna get poor, you know, while you competing
and trying to win the game. So you know, there's
a lot of stuff that you know, as a quarterback,
you just gotta you know, be ready for Kyler.
Speaker 4 (24:06):
I know you you can't speak for everyone in this
locker room, but what is the wrong mood of this
team heading into a a A a two week break
really after on one.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
In five Stars?
Speaker 15 (24:14):
Man, we just gotta use our our week uh to
the best that we can and get ready for the
rest of the season.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
That's all we can do.
Speaker 6 (24:20):
You know.
Speaker 5 (24:22):
John said that he still feels like all the goals
the Ravens.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
Have are still kind of ahead of you. Guys.
Speaker 5 (24:28):
Mean, how hard do you think you're gonna have to
work in that two week stretch to kind of get
back to believing that and feel like get a wipe
off of the four game losing street.
Speaker 15 (24:37):
Man, it's a it's a it's a one week uh season.
You know, like uh, every NFL team that you know,
they they gotta be ready to play every week. So
you know, we can use just as advantage to get
healthy and just you know, fine tune ourselves and just
be ready to win out out of the vision.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
