Speaker 1 (00:02):
You're listening to the Ravens Press Pass podcast. The Ravens
fell to six and seven on Sunday, losing to the
Pittsburgh Steelers twenty seven to twenty two at M and
T Banks Stadium. After the game, we heard from head
coach John Hartball.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
All right, good game. Uh, tough loss. Fought to the
end four games last season. Is not over. Fighting for
the AFC North for the next four games. That's where
we stand. What questions you have, John?
Speaker 3 (00:30):
On the replay, it looked like Isaiah had got in
two feet down.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
What was the explanation that was given to you on
the sideline?
Speaker 2 (00:37):
Yeah, the explanation was a third foot didn't get down
before the ball came out. That's what they said.
Speaker 4 (00:42):
Do you believe?
Speaker 2 (00:43):
Uh, you know what. I believe a lot of things.
I think. I think the play with I think the
Aaron Rodgers play. I mean just talking my rules here.
It's not an officiating issue. It comes from New York.
But you know when you when you when you're making
a catch, you have to you have to you have
to survive the ground. You know he didn't survive the ground.
He's he's not down by contact. He he was catching
he was catching the ball on the way down with
(01:04):
another person, So you got to you gotta make a
catch there and survive the ground. I don't know why
it was ruled the way it was on that one.
So all those things, I'm sure we'll they'll explain to us.
But they had plenty of time to look at and
they're the ones who are the experts on the rules.
So that's how it works.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
How was the Rogers play that he was just down
with the possession of the book?
Speaker 5 (01:24):
John, What did you see on the Travis Jones?
Speaker 2 (01:27):
So how do only on the field goal that I
didn't see heading that contact? That's what I did not see.
So but you you need to have head and head
in that area of contact there, and it's gotta be forceful,
you know, contact not incident contact. But I didn't see
any contact myself.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
John, How do you, you know, talk to the players
when you know in a game where you feel like.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
Some calls might not go on your way?
Speaker 6 (01:51):
How do you how do you address and kind of
take this loss and and and try to explain that
to you and your players?
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Yeah, I mean the players. The players, don't you know,
they know they've been in the NFL. They know how
this works, you know. And I tell him basically, we're not.
We're not. We don't make an excuses. We don't pointing fingers.
That's not what we do here. We never have. We
walk out of here with our chest out and our
chin up, you know, and and we look to the
next game, you know, and we we are fighting still
for everything that we want to accomplish, you know. So
it's been it's tough. It's been a tough, challenging road
(02:18):
for sure, but uh that's where we're at, you know,
and we will keep fighting and and we believe we
can get it done.
Speaker 5 (02:25):
On that last drive of the second quarter to you know,
almost the end of the game, is that kind of
Lamar that you're familiar with seeing and and sort of
the competitive play.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
I thought Lamar played really well. Yeah, to your point, yes,
I mean I thought he played really well, and uh,
you know, it was it was uh, it was uh
what we've come to expect and how he plays. And
I just I always have so much respect for him
and the way he plays and the way he fights
and competes and and everything else out there. You know.
When the when the games start and the lights come on,
(02:58):
you know, there's there's nobody you'd rather have.
Speaker 7 (03:00):
The touchdown they scored in the second half where Warren
just goes down the sideline. W whip broke down there.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
Yeah, that was uh, that was a lot of a
lot of breakdowns, you know, a lot of a lot
of uh missed uh, misunderstandings. I guess you'd say, guys, uh,
we didn't h quite. We weren't on We weren't on
the same page with the assignments and things like that,
and that was a that was one of our worst
worst plays, uh that we had.
Speaker 8 (03:19):
Jah.
Speaker 9 (03:20):
They had struggled to kind of get some of those
splash plays down the field in the pass game they
play right after that early w Why do you think
they had success.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
In the well? I think they completed some some path
passes on the sideline, you know, some uh some uh
some press fades, you know, that's what they They completed 'em.
That was a three or four of 'em. And then
they had that play that was uh, you know, it
was just not well executed by us in terms of
the the pressure on that John Hill service, is the
Kid Mitchell age or well evaluate tomorrow we'll know more tomorrow. Uh,
(03:49):
that's one that's gonna have to It's gonna have to
take uh some some look at tomorrow, John.
Speaker 10 (03:54):
A little last offensive drive looked like there was some
confusion between Lamar and the receivers. Obviously you'll have to
go back in the ok at it.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
But what did you see.
Speaker 10 (04:01):
From the field level?
Speaker 2 (04:02):
Well, that's that's that's that's a good question. That's one
we're gonna have to go back and look at. Like,
I'm I'm sure, uh we've you know, I'm just walking
out of the locker room right here, So I haven't
had a chance to really break that down with with
the offensive coaches, but we had. We weren't as crisp
as we needed to be on that last two minute
drive for sure, in terms of in terms of that
part of it, we made plays. I mean we got
down the field twice, so I was happy with that,
(04:22):
But that part le the look out.
Speaker 5 (04:24):
Did you consider taking time out on the second or
last drive?
Speaker 4 (04:27):
A third and two ends up.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
At the I did? I did? It was it was
one where you know, there was a chance it was
really chaotic, you know, and there was a chance that
we thought we were gonna be able to get lined
up right and it didn't work out that way. So
it was one of those ones you didn't know how
it was gonna go right there.
Speaker 10 (04:41):
There were stretches where your offense got some things rolling.
There were stretches where your defense played well, but it
didn't seem like there were times where they both happened together.
Was that something that you felt and how frustrating was that?
Speaker 2 (04:52):
Uh? I think that's kind of football goes a lot
of times. You know, it's tough. It's tough to put
it all together and everybody be on the same page,
be everybody dominating your opponent all together at the same
time for a football game. I mean, that's a challenging thing.
Your opponents have saying that as well.
Speaker 11 (05:08):
Into kicking some field goals in the red zone.
Speaker 10 (05:11):
Did you notice anything going wrong with the offense.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Once he got pushed to the end of those Yeah,
we'll look at it. You know, I'm not sure exactly
in terms of, uh, this that or the other with
any certain plays, but we'd like love to score touchdowns there,
but our guys were fighting to do. It didn't work
out for.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
Us, except we heard from quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Speaker 8 (05:31):
Touchdown I believe.
Speaker 12 (05:33):
So I thought it was in the end zone taking
steps like I just kept punching at the ball.
Speaker 9 (05:41):
So like I see emotionally where you where do you
guys go from? I think it's a likely touchdown to
obviously the drive continues, but it ends up being a
turnover downs.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
Just what kind of swing is.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
That for these.
Speaker 13 (05:52):
Uh?
Speaker 12 (05:53):
You know, I I believe we probably had like one
time out, I defin time to get back out on
the field and stop those guys. You know, we wanted
to be a touchdown, but unfortunately it wasn't, So we
just tried to do what we could. They drive the
ball down the field and put points on the board,
probably like one time out on the clock.
Speaker 4 (06:09):
More.
Speaker 14 (06:10):
It's a surprise me at this point, the like gives
like get from lot of people, gotta get on the
same page. You gotta get doing r in the same direction.
But it's December and with all the talent and some
of the guys back, is it surprising year that that's
the case.
Speaker 12 (06:21):
Yeah, yeah, I can say that cause you know, we
got no addition, We got d hot guys like that
on our team, and y uh think he came over
here for us to be in this situation. You know
we wen you known't for winning, man, but feel like
it's just an adversity game.
Speaker 8 (06:34):
Man right here, like t this point of the season, you know,
we gotta just keep fighting and we just keep God.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
First, Mark, wherever you say this team is at right now?
You know after this game obviously dropping out the first places.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Where where are you guys at right now?
Speaker 11 (06:46):
Uh?
Speaker 12 (06:46):
You know we still got well hurting the games left,
like five four or five four four games left? You
know you still turn it around, I believe you know. Uh,
they just lost to an like I said, divisional opponent. Uh,
it's a tough loss at that cause I felt like
we could've put more punts on the board, you know,
but unfortunately we didn't and at more turn ran out
(07:06):
of those guys do what they were supposed to do?
Speaker 8 (07:08):
Or why we sell you over in the corner there?
Speaker 3 (07:10):
How would you just kind of describe your level of frustration.
Speaker 12 (07:13):
At this point through the roof We shouldn't I feel
like Thanksgiving game, we shouldn't lost that game.
Speaker 8 (07:18):
You know it was t turn No, it was unfortunately
and but just on his like I don't know what.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
Happened, markway you saw you would tell you talking to
the coach for few minutes over network, what was the
message there?
Speaker 12 (07:30):
Uh, you know it just we still got we still
got four games. Basically were saying, you know, just stay
locked in.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
With another divisional maunch up set up for next week
in Cincinnati with the Bengals, that mindset going into their mentality.
Speaker 12 (07:44):
S just like it was this game, but uh gotta
be better, you know, go into those guys' territory. We
just gotta lock in, man, four quarters each and every play.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
What did you see on the uh turnovers to your cousin.
Speaker 12 (07:57):
Uh, tryna make something happen. It was like third down,
Uh try to throw it to Rasime, But I threw
it to to like he just made.
Speaker 8 (08:05):
A good player on it. One one hand in the session.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
Mark, could you describe your feeling when you see the
catch made you got to go ahead touchdown and then
seconds later it's wiped off the board.
Speaker 12 (08:16):
I mean, s I don't know, man, that was like
I said, I thought it was a touchdown. Man, But
the russ made the car they wanted, you know, they
they believe that was right.
Speaker 8 (08:24):
So gotta go with it. Just a Q stay locked in.
I mean, if you was on the on the field
with us.
Speaker 12 (08:30):
I believe you just thought it was a touchdown too,
you know, but I can't do the rough job, you know,
so it is what it is.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
Mark.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
Did they ever get any explanation for that call?
Speaker 8 (08:39):
Nah?
Speaker 12 (08:39):
I didn't aks you know, I had to stay locked in.
You had had another opportunity, so I couldn't ry it
about it.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
And Mart, you guys had you guess had over two
hundred rushing How how critical was it to be establish
that for this fun Formand.
Speaker 12 (08:52):
Oh, I'm man, that's what they were hearing for, you know, Keaton,
you know Rachine. We got great running back.
Speaker 4 (08:57):
So uh it.
Speaker 8 (08:58):
It was great to see you, but I wish we
would have w you know, at.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
The end of up. So what it's good to see.
Speaker 9 (09:04):
Did you feel good today physically?
Speaker 4 (09:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (09:07):
I did, you know?
Speaker 4 (09:08):
I was.
Speaker 12 (09:08):
I felt like I moved pretty well, you know, kept
drivers alive. Uh, I felt like I was moving pretty well.
Speaker 14 (09:15):
Known you had you there was an awful lot of
pressure to Pittsburgh, a flight for which they are known,
but there were something like almost every time you were
going back it which you were under the gun.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
There how challenging. Did that make it?
Speaker 5 (09:25):
Uh?
Speaker 8 (09:25):
And it's football. Sometimes things like that happened, you know.
Speaker 12 (09:29):
But our guys gonna watch felm me and then they
gonna lock in, you know, cause they hold theyself to
a height stand o belieath and know so sorry, so
a lot of ways from.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
Whom are on the w On the last play, did
did you feel high smith Rey click before you got
you or yeah?
Speaker 8 (09:42):
I just seen chaos. You know.
Speaker 12 (09:44):
I tried to move much as I could, you know,
just try to get my j uh gods a shot
to the end zone, but gods wasn't in the enzone.
I just didn't wanna throw it to a bunch of
Stellers Flaths in the zone.
Speaker 8 (09:52):
That's pointless. Did you still see a path to your
guys who went.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
In THEFC North?
Speaker 12 (09:56):
Yeah, we gotta see those guys again. We got Cincinnati,
so we just gotta finish.
Speaker 9 (10:01):
Strong to that only four games? Is it starting to
feel like you don't have as much room.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
For error anymore?
Speaker 8 (10:08):
Absolutely? I feel like each and every week is no
room for error.
Speaker 12 (10:11):
You know, we're professionals, so and I feel like we
just tryna win much as we could right now, like you, like,
we just been talking about four game stretch you just
gotta lock in and put it all on the line.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
What gives you kind of before when you fit you
guys can do that.
Speaker 8 (10:23):
Uh? Can we still have these two UH Division opponents
in front of us?
Speaker 1 (10:29):
Except we heard from linebacker or Kwan Smith planning.
Speaker 7 (10:34):
I know you work on the field for the idea
likely touchdown, but I'm sure you saw it.
Speaker 4 (10:38):
What was kind of your thoughts on what the acold
have been a touchdown or not.
Speaker 6 (10:42):
I don't make those type of calls, nor do I
make the catches in the end zone from the quarterback,
So that's not my position.
Speaker 4 (10:48):
And I'm not sure what.
Speaker 7 (10:51):
About the UH the play that Aaron Rodgers was credited
with a completion, We thought it was a Buchanan fumble
slash interception.
Speaker 6 (10:59):
Yeah, I wasn't. I don't make those calls. More was
out there for the interception, but from the looks of it,
I thought Teddy had it, and it was clear the
ref made it on the field he saw it as
well then overturned it. So not sure. That's not my job.
My job is to just go out and play my
brand and football.
Speaker 10 (11:15):
Just how frustrating is it when there are these moments
that could have been a turnover, could have been a touchdown,
and then the game ends as it does.
Speaker 6 (11:26):
I think it's the game of football, and I think
it's the game of life as well, and you just
have to play the cards your dealt, play the hand
your dealt, and go forward every time.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
I think that's just simple.
Speaker 6 (11:37):
And you just gotta control the controllables, and I think
that's what it is, So each and every individual just
have to control that one eleven and I think that's
what it boils down to each and every play, and
that's the always a beat the way in this game.
Speaker 5 (11:49):
Bro, Aaron Rodgers attacked you guys deep, especially with dk
Uh right up the bat. I mean, what was what
leading to some of their success and explosives and how
did you guys?
Speaker 4 (12:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (12:01):
Absolutely, obviously he's been doing it for a long time
and DK's good receiving this league and thought there was
some really good balls out there. Got made some really
good catches and some perfect placements on the ball. So
I think that's it was just hats off to Uh.
Those guys were making those completions and it was what
it was. Just gotta move on next play real QUNS
teams down.
Speaker 4 (12:21):
Six and seven, four games left. Yeah, for what do
you feel are the Ravens playoff chances straight?
Speaker 5 (12:27):
Now?
Speaker 13 (12:27):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (12:28):
How does it stand and shape out? I'm not sure?
Or your one game back of the stealers right now?
Where four games a love? Oh? Okay? Cool? Alright?
Speaker 6 (12:35):
And it's more about playing the cards your dept. And
this is our hand and that's life. You play the
cards your dept. Day in and day out, game in
and game out, and it's about next week, like obviously
learning from the mistakes from this game and playing Cincinnati
next week. So it's about correcting the mistakes, not having
stef inflict dicks and playing our brand of football. And
(12:57):
I'm sure if you're one game back and what you
went out, I don't know how that works. But it's
just one game at a time and I think we
just got to go take care of business, uh and Cincinnati,
And that's all you can look forward to in this league,
the next moment you have because you never know which
one to be your last real calling them.
Speaker 7 (13:10):
I mean the standings aside, do you feel like there
is still something you guys can unlock as a team
where the offensive the d belts are playing well at
the same time, and you guys are playing in and
kind kind of what you thought you would be coming
into the year. Do you think that's still there for
you guys?
Speaker 2 (13:24):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (13:25):
Absolutely when to turn them like yeah, absolutely, uh without
a doubt.
Speaker 4 (13:28):
And it's more about going out and doing that.
Speaker 6 (13:31):
And obviously this is the show show you business as
in the show me, so it's not about talking about it.
It's actually about being about it and like letting your
play speak for you.
Speaker 4 (13:41):
Not not words in a sense.
Speaker 6 (13:43):
So it's just about going out each and every individual
taking control of their one to eleven and doing it
play in and play out. And I think if you
do that, and if every single person do that, you
will get what you want. Talent's there, but it's not
about the talent. Like obviously, talent only gets you so
far in life and in football in general. So it's
about playing doing your one to eleven and ten's doing
(14:04):
their job and one's not.
Speaker 4 (14:05):
Hey it's not good enough.
Speaker 6 (14:07):
So it's about honing in on the details each and
every individual, including myself, playing and play out. And yeah
it's the NFL. People gonna make plays, but it's about responding.
How are you going to respond? And I think that's
a response response mechanism in life.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
In a game of.
Speaker 6 (14:19):
Football, it all echoes through. So that's what each and
every person has to do. And I think it's just
stop playing.
Speaker 4 (14:24):
And simple.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
Excep. We heard from running back Derrick Henry.
Speaker 4 (14:31):
Derek con companies just to deal with the lost square there.
So a couple of plays that seemed like they were
going one way and then a rough's decision turned to
the other.
Speaker 13 (14:41):
Yeah, you know, it's just tough. You know, we got
the games in the ref's hands, but you know, we
just have to be better. I'm focused on me being
better for life. I need to be better there to
give us a better chance to win in the run
game and doing my job. But we're just to play
when it was needed.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
Do you like about the right games?
Speaker 8 (15:01):
The toad, the over ninety yards for you? Keeping this
little big fifty.
Speaker 6 (15:04):
Five years ago?
Speaker 13 (15:05):
I mean we had success. I mean we just probably
just like I could have been better. You can get
a great job on that exposive run and find a
great job. Act did a great job blocking, just came
up short.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
Did you think it's a touchdown for Isaiah?
Speaker 13 (15:18):
I thought so, but it's not me too. Made the
decision I thought I thought it was a touchdown? What'd
you think looks like it?
Speaker 10 (15:25):
What are the conversations like after that gets overturned? And
it's kind of a quick change for you guys. You
think that you're done and then you're back on the field.
Speaker 13 (15:33):
You know, just let it slip away. You know you
kind of uh D disappointed, especially right now in the
game is in it, so it's disappointed we let this
one slip away, and you know we had the opportunity.
We just didn't capitalize on it. And like I said,
I need to be better so on to focus on myself.
(15:54):
But as a horrle, we just didn't capitalize on on
a moment twin.
Speaker 4 (15:59):
I'm what do you think this hurts the playoff chance
that you wanna get back of the steels down with
four four a week remaining?
Speaker 13 (16:05):
Yeah, I really I really ain't tryna think about the
playoffs just cause you know, we we just lost. You know, uh,
just trying to focus on watching film, figure out how
I can do and do better, finds the season strong
and then see where we land. You know, it's it's
(16:26):
still you know, we s still got time, I feel like,
but I was just trying to focus on this game
and learn from it then move to the next one.
Speaker 9 (16:35):
Yeah, I guess what that means that that the Bengals
up again.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
What can you do moving forward to.
Speaker 9 (16:41):
Just tighten it up and trying to change the results
from what happens past two gays.
Speaker 13 (16:45):
Yeah, I just think I need to win.
Speaker 4 (16:48):
It's most important thing.
Speaker 13 (16:50):
Win these games. Play comprehending football in all three phases,
take advantage of opportunities when there are giving, and and
just execute, which let me see every week another division game,
every game now, I mean it's important and for us
to be able to uh yeah, the chance out the playoffs.
But like I said it, all that don't matter right now,
(17:10):
you know, learn from best one and get ready for
beings this week, the ever pick.
Speaker 8 (17:14):
Just four games to go.
Speaker 10 (17:15):
Do you got Do you still feel like you guys
can find a consistency and you guys have been talking
about kind of last season.
Speaker 13 (17:21):
Yeah, I mean I think I think we definitely can.
It's just a tough one today. You know, in the
close game division game, vision rival, it's come up short
like that.
Speaker 4 (17:33):
You remember this some great.
Speaker 13 (17:34):
For them to learn from so he can get ready
for another division opponent. We just saw last week.
Speaker 4 (17:39):
So you're ka, did you guys be the five? Now
it in the bank. Just how surprising is it that
to not be a strong in Baltimore's you guess Burger
your specised.
Speaker 13 (17:47):
Yeah, I know that hurts, you know, you know, sposed
to defending your home turf and definitely should have a
better record at home. But you know, ain that's that
hasn't been the case for us. But I don't mean
we don't give up or you know, still play with
confidence and leaving each other and go out there and
(18:09):
do what we need to do to give ourselves a chance.
But yeah, definitely things for sure.
Speaker 1 (18:17):
Next we heard from left tackle Ronnie Stanley.
Speaker 5 (18:20):
Following a loss like that, where like there were moments
where maybe things should have been called.
Speaker 8 (18:25):
The other way.
Speaker 11 (18:26):
Yeah, I mean, you know there's definitely moments so you
felt that way, but you know, you can't blame it
one way or the other. I think we know even
with those calls, we should sh we still should have
made enough, uh you know, of a difference to win
this game.
Speaker 3 (18:38):
And yeah, running from your perspective, what what happened on
the last play the the the sack that end.
Speaker 4 (18:45):
Of the game.
Speaker 11 (18:46):
Uh, no, idea. I have no idea what happened on
the interior. I know my guy ran pretty wide up
the edge.
Speaker 4 (18:55):
Yeah, I don't know. You gotta look at a film.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
What did you see on the Uh? The eyes say,
I like a touchdown?
Speaker 4 (19:01):
Pay?
Speaker 2 (19:01):
Did you think that was a catch?
Speaker 4 (19:02):
Yeah?
Speaker 11 (19:03):
I mean I think you know, common sense will tell
you that's a catch. I think, Uh, A lot of
things get overthought, but it is what it is.
Speaker 10 (19:09):
Is that the flating at all when you know there
have been a couple of moments similar to that during
course of the game.
Speaker 11 (19:14):
Up for any money, Yeah, I think so, But you know,
you just gotta, you know, fight through it. I think
the champion of mindset has, you know, accept whatever happens
and overcome Ronnie.
Speaker 5 (19:23):
Is slow start for you guys, but then you know,
at that started in that first or that last drive
the second quarter, it seemed like you guys had a
rhythm that you haven't had for a few weeks.
Speaker 11 (19:31):
What was different this week that that led to better execution?
Uh saying consistent with the run game? Uh, being physical
up front?
Speaker 13 (19:40):
Uh?
Speaker 11 (19:40):
Yeah, I think, you know, just making sure we're holding
the lines, uh, creating the line of scrimmage, uh, moving
the guys off the ball, and I s think we
you know, we did that for the most part during
the whole game.
Speaker 6 (19:51):
Does that give you confidence even though you guys bust
this game and and have a you know, a hill
climb to get.
Speaker 4 (19:56):
To the top of the AFC North.
Speaker 11 (19:57):
I mean, sure, it gives you confidence, but uh, we
didn't come out with the result that we wanted even
with uh, you know how it felt playing, so uh,
there's things I need to get fixed and we need
to fix 'em.
Speaker 3 (20:09):
Guys, guys have said again and again that everything is
still in front of you.
Speaker 4 (20:12):
Do you only four games up?
Speaker 3 (20:14):
Do you do you still feel that you feel like
you can get to the be the team that you
guys thought you could be.
Speaker 11 (20:18):
Yeah, of course I. I still have a ton of
belief and confidence in us, and uh, we just need
to focus on our next tacit hand and you know
that's being the Bengals and just put everything you know
forward for that game.
Speaker 10 (20:29):
Ronnie, do you know what happened on the third and
two where you guys got flagged?
Speaker 4 (20:33):
I think for a formation calling. You lost a couple
of yards.
Speaker 11 (20:35):
It feels like there was some confusion in the back Yeah,
I I really don't know. I think they call it
like Andrew off the ball or and he's in a
three point stand, So I really don't understand.
Speaker 4 (20:45):
But yeah, not sure.
Speaker 3 (20:48):
The offensive line has taken a good bit of criticism
this year, pair or not. I mean, what's your perspective
on kind of where you guys scanned as a.
Speaker 4 (20:54):
Unit right now?
Speaker 11 (20:56):
Uh? I think we're doing a lot of good things,
you know, I think, uh, there are things that definitely
need to get fixed, especially you know, to play at
the the level that we need to play out to
to get to our goal. But I do think we're
doing a lot of good things out there. We're playing physical,
given effort.
Speaker 4 (21:09):
You know.
Speaker 9 (21:10):
Yeah, Ron, are you surprised that as a team at
with uh four games left you you guys are still
searching for that consistency that you want to have and
that you're you that you usually do have this.
Speaker 11 (21:20):
Time of the year. Yeah, you know, definitely, definitely are
definitely a little bit, but you know, you have full
faith and trust that we're gonna get it. And you know,
I've played with these guys for years and I know
what they're k capable of and uh, what we can
do together, if we if we focus on what we need.
Speaker 10 (21:35):
To do right on that last drive. Why couldn't you guys?
It seemed like it took a little bit to get going.
What happened from your perspective on those first few plays.
Speaker 4 (21:43):
Of that last drive?
Speaker 11 (21:45):
Uh, you know, I think it's always hard in those
l those obvious pass situations where the defense you know,
doesn't really have to do with uh, not knowing what
type of play it's gonna be. So just making sure
you know you're on your p's and q's and techniques
right and you know in those in those moments.
