Ralph Velasco, known as the Continental Drifter, shares his journey of becoming a professional traveler and tour organizer. After surviving the 2008 stock market crash as a rookie financial advisor, Ralph decided to follow his passion for travel and photography. He started by teaching photography at local colleges and gradually built a following. The financial crisis served as a catalyst for him to pursue his dream full-time. Ralph now organizes international multi-week trips for a demographic of people in their 40s and above who have the time and money to travel. He focuses on creating cultural experiences and connecting with local artisans.
