As autoras foram a julgamento em novembro de 1973, acusadas de atentado contra a moral pública mas viriam a ser absolvidas a 7 de maio de 1974, ajudadas pelo 25 de Abril que trouxe, finalmente, a liberdade de expressão e o fim da censura.
