In this episode of The Rickey Smiley Morning Show Podcast, listeners got a mix of joyful news, celebrity drama, and campus confrontation. The RSMS crew celebrated the arrival of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s third child, a daughter named Rocki Irish Mayers, born on September 13, 2025—a girl after two sons. The talk then shifted to JT’s public response to Cardi B, where she defended her man against accusations and confronted Cardi’s insults with blunt comparisons and support for his character.

Tension peaked when a group of MAGA supporters calling themselves “Fearless Debaters” trespassed onto Tennessee State University’s campus, arriving with signs reading “DEI should be illegal” and “Deport all illegals now.” They were quickly escorted off campus by TSU police, but the incident ignited debate on free speech, political provocation, and how Black institutions are treated in today’s climate.

So fractured that that everywhere we turn.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
In this particular season, where we hear language that that
tears down in steads of building up, words that that
spread division instead of healing. Father, I ask that you
will remind us of what Proverbs, chapter six and verse
two declares that we we are snared by the words
our speech. Teach us, Lord God, teach us to use

(01:03):
our worst carefully. Teach teach us to speak with wisdom.
Teach us, Lord God, to uplift instead of destroy. Silence
every tongue that souls discord, and raise up voices that
call for peace, justice and compassion. Heal our land in
the name of the Lord Jesus. Heal our neighborhoods where
violence has become calmon heal our hearts where bitterness has

(01:26):
become rooted. And may your spirit remind us daily that
change begins with us, and how we love and how
we speak and how we treat others is absolutely important.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
Do it in us first, because Lord God.

Speaker 3 (01:40):

in the world around us.

more about yesterday's deadly shooting at an ice facility in Dallas.
Two detainees were killed and others remain in critical condition.
ICE Deputy director Madison Sheehan says the shooter appeared to
target the entire building.

Speaker 6 (02:35):
What we do know so far is that the shooter
was firing indiscriminately throughout the whole building, and so the
shooter was at a building nearby and shooting directly into
the building, going across the entire length of the building.

Speaker 5 (02:50):
Officials have identified the gunman as twenty nine year old
Joshua John. He was later found dead from a self
inflicted gunshot wounded at a new nearby apartment at I
director Cash Hotel shared a photo on X of shellcasings
at the scene, engraved with the words anti ICE. Investigators
say they're treating this as a targeted attack. John had

(03:11):
a minor drug record, but no history of violent crime.
His family says they're shocked no ICE agents were injured.
Disney's catching heat from its own investors after that brief
suspension of Jimmy Kimmel. Of course, we all know he
was pulled off the air last week for comments he
made about Charlie Kirk's alleged killer, but after backlash, Disney
brought him back on Tuesday. By Wednesday, a group of

(03:33):
lawyers representing shareholders fired off a letter accusing company execs
of putting politics over profits and Warren they may have breached.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Their fiduciary duties.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
The letter also pointed out that Disney stock took a
major hit after that suspension, which they say looked like
it was tied to pressure from the FCC. Meanwhile, a
controversial statue that popped up near the Capitol didn't last
long showed former President Trump. I mean, I said former
Sorry typo showed President Trump holding hands with Jeffrey epscene

(04:07):
with a plaque calling Epstein his closest friend. The US
Park Police and National Park Service quietly hauled away early Wednesday,
saying it didn't have a proper permit. Critics blasted statues
removal as censorship, saying it's silenced protest art and skirted
proper permit procedures. Grandfa on these toys and more, Keericsmiley

Speaker 9 (06:59):
This federal rico on KK and Chris. The Federal I'm

But he got some information that.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
I don't know. Only God knows. All right, y'all moving on.

Speaker 8 (07:34):
Did He is back in court this morning for the
first time since his trial wrapped up with a split verdict.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
A judge will hear arguments from both.

Speaker 8 (07:41):
The prosecution and his defense attorneys on points of law
that will help him determine a sentence. Did He was
convicted of two of the five charges prosecutors had stacked
against him. They could have left him behind bars for
the rest of his life, but the split verdict left
him acquitted on three of the charges, including racketeering conspiracy. However,
did find him guilty on two prostitution related charges. Defense

(08:03):
attorneys will ask the judge to overturn his conviction, arguing
the charge should not apply to him because intent was voyeurism,
which is sexual gratification from secretly watching people who are nude, undressing,
or having sex, and not for profit, and that the
escorts travel voluntarily. Prosecutors argue there is more than a
sufficient basis to support the conviction. That he has been

(08:26):
sitting in a Brooklyn jail for the past thirteen months.
So I'll keep y'all posted on what's going on with that.
We are definitely eager to see what is going on, all.

Speaker 12 (08:55):
But up kay, yeah, what I've read this is the
news you're absolutely positive can I use?

Speaker 1 (09:01):
For all our new listeners in new markets.

Speaker 12 (09:03):
This is where we take real your stupidity to new
levels every Thursday. That's right, Ignorant Information is gonna have
you at the Google machine for your whole entire lunch break.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Let's jump into it.

Speaker 12 (09:15):
With all the news that's been going on over the
past week, I decided to talk about something that has
absolutely nothing to do with any of that. These are
some weird, yet amazing, yet unbelievable yet true facts about animals. Yep,
I don't even know what tined of background of music
I needed for this, Super Dave, just give me something
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
Let's start with this one.

Speaker 12 (09:36):
Our free This the longest living verified animal is a
Madagascar radiated tortoise, which finally died recently at an estimated
age of one hundred.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
And eighty eight years old.

Speaker 12 (09:50):
That's roughly two years younger than Morgan Freeman actually still
living believe it or not. Now koalas they call them
kuala bears, but they're not too technically bears. But koalas
can sleep for up to twenty two hours a day. Yeah,
much like that uncle that lives with your grandmama and
college students that are still living home. Now, did you

(10:12):
know rock tea that sea otters store extra food in
a pocket of skin under their armpits. A you know,
if offers you a cracker or a cookie, Yeah, pass
on that one. Now, let's see, even after having his
head cut off, a cockroach can still live for weeks

(10:32):
and soaking a crackhead, texting and riding the bicycle at
the same kids bike.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
That's that's a South Dallas thing. I think only in
sunny South Dallas, Sir.

Speaker 12 (10:49):
Now, only about three to five percent of mammals worldwide
are classified to be monogamous. Yeah, three to five percent
of mammals classified be monogamous. Now that number drops to
about one percent in Atlanta, Vegas and South Florida. Now
a flee A flee can jump three hundred and fifty

(11:11):
rock team. A flee can jump three hundred and fifty
times its body length, which would be the human equivalent
of a six foot tall man jumping over seven hundred
yards man.

Speaker 11 (11:23):
That would come in handy in the Olympics. You got hots,
Yeah you jump before?

Speaker 4 (11:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 12 (11:29):
Oh no, we've never seen a flee jump a fleet.
What the hell you see a flea jump?

Speaker 4 (11:34):
The cause tried to kill a flee. I saw a
flee off the.

Speaker 12 (11:38):
Okay, I'm gonna say now and finally, finallyally oysters can
actually change their gender.

Speaker 4 (11:47):
Did you know that? Gart No, you wasn't born an oyster. Okay.

Speaker 13 (11:52):
Now what we need is somebody new to do the
family tree with all the branches and the names and
the family zone it because when Kleathis do it, he
misses it.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Uh, that's Friday.

Speaker 13 (12:02):
We're gonna do a a meeting greet.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Now we can.

Speaker 13 (12:06):
Invite Sheila, but I hope she don't come fight, yes,
because she drinks and she fights. Now roy Dale say
he gonna do all the meats on the grill, and
I don't.

Speaker 4 (12:16):
Think that's a good idea.

Speaker 13 (12:18):
Yeah, Lydia knows about it because I told her she's
pregnant too.

Speaker 4 (12:21):
Did you know that? Now we don't need no DJ
because Paul he says he's gonna do it.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Have you ever went to a party that Paul was
doing the music at?

Speaker 2 (12:29):
No?

Speaker 4 (12:30):
Okay?

Speaker 14 (12:30):
Well, and then Regina gonna come call ask me can
you put any keto items on the menu? I told
her no. And have anybody talked to Lewis?

Speaker 15 (12:42):
You know?

Speaker 4 (12:42):
I know he married that Caucasian later and he just
he just drifted away.

Speaker 16 (12:46):
Henna call me you doing the family Greek youngion.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
I told her I'm doing it.

Speaker 13 (12:54):
You got a problem with that?

Speaker 4 (12:58):

over whose man is more effeminate?

Speaker 17 (13:42):
Now?

Speaker 11 (13:42):
Cardi B, DJT Honey and Little Uzzi Bird on her
track Magnet Honey on her am I had the drama album.
Now Cardi B revert referred to JT as shady and
trash and so many other things.

Speaker 4 (13:55):
Honey on that track.

Speaker 11 (13:56):
Now people are saying Cardi b girl, come on, taw,
you're pregnant, walm Hunt calmed down because you don't want
to stress the baby, because when you go to all
that kind of talk and stressed like that.

Speaker 4 (14:05):
That's not good for the child.

Speaker 11 (14:06):
But they're saying that JT defended little Uzi versus femininity
and his habits are wearing women handbags now, she wrote
in a post Hunt, Yes, honey, my man does this, honey,
mine his business, works hard, take care of his family,
inspired his generation, and doesn't snatch. But his style is
what made him little uzy. We are talking about Chris

(14:28):
right now. Focus. That's what she said, honey, and then honey,
they willing to say Jay's I mean. J T reposted
interview y'all with Chris Blake Griffin nostolist y'all, who accused
Cardi's current baby daddy step On These of sexual assault
and attempted murder. Now she captured the video. This is
messing nut and sad. Gay men should be protected. I

(14:49):
feel like this isn't being taken seriously. Enough honey, And
then they.

Speaker 4 (14:52):
Went on and on.

Speaker 11 (14:54):
But at least but Uzzerberg was carrying a nice goat
yard bag.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
Though at least it was an expensive bag.

Speaker 11 (14:59):
I mean, I don't what's the big deal, but he he, I.

Speaker 4 (15:05):
Don't understand, honey.

Speaker 11 (15:06):
But then they put in another post, she wrote, Cardi
b baby father a gay man, not because of how
he dreads that experiences himself, but because Chris said it
out of his mouth. Justice for Chris, I staying with
the gaze, honey, and Cardi be defended her man. She said,
Chris lied because he was caught hung because he was
caught stealing.

Speaker 4 (15:27):
What is Chris? Who is Chris Taylor grandmother?

Speaker 11 (15:34):
He's some random man that's accusing uh, Stefan Diggs is
drugging him and doing this to him.

Speaker 4 (15:41):
Love him, man, But why do rich people act like that?

Speaker 11 (15:44):
These people are rich and they acting a fool like
that's just.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Don't be in the news, right do what Reacon? What
people do it too is just don't make the news.

Speaker 11 (15:54):
Yeah yeah, yo, that's true to I guess so, honey.
But I mean it's just ridiculous.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
I mean, they.

Speaker 11 (16:01):
Acting like damn, honey, and I'm like with all this
dog on money, help people, honey, drug and crime spreading
on the streets. Hell, people can't get enough to eat

Speaker 5 (17:12):
Kill that role. I mean, he's so good in it.
He's amazing in that role.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
If he didn't do it, you know what I'm saying,
he'd been found innocent and all everything is clear, and
why shouldn't he return to his role?

Speaker 4 (17:24):
Why did they do him like that? Yeah?

Speaker 11 (17:26):
But Ricky, I mean, but did people protest for him
like they did for Jimmy Kimmel. See, they protest for
Jimmy Kimmel hunting, Yeah, to get back, but.

Speaker 4 (17:35):
He had people, you know, but nobody. You're right, nobody
protested for him.

Speaker 5 (17:39):
Jimmy Kimmel wasn't accused of assault, so it's different.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
Well, yeah, I guess.

Speaker 11 (17:43):
But yeah, Well and then too maybe because honey, he
having to hit a white woman and you know, black
men can't hit white women this year, so this year, wow,

I think some of you know and some of you don't.
This is the largest Congressional Black Caucus that we have

(21:25):
ever had, and that essentially is all of the members,
all of the African American or black considered members of
the House of Representatives and the US Senate. And for
a long time, Rick, I think that there has been
this idea that if the if Democrats are not you know,

(21:50):
in power, that what power does the Congressional Black Caucus
has and I think that when the when the Congress,
when the Congressional Black Caucuss was created, they really were
called the conscious of the Congress, a body of African
American representatives that would bring up issues that nobody else

(22:13):
brought up. And I think as time has gone on,
we've seen strong Congressional Black Caucauss, we've seen those that
have not been as strong. But I think that there
is an importance for us to understand as we navigate
these current political waters how important the caucus can be.
And so I think, you know, younger members like Patman

(22:37):
Crockett to say Ilhan and others are showing that there
are different ways to engage. But I'm curious. I wanted
to know your thoughts, I mean especial Okay, I'm sorry,
I wanted to know your thoughts as you think about

(22:57):
kind of where we are in this moment, like what
you would like to see a Congressional Black Caucus do
in the face of what seems like un impossible and
intermountable odds. When when somebody is so insane that they
don't follow rules, they don't do this, it's questionable that

(23:19):
they follow the Constitution. And so when you when you
are accustomed to fighting a certain way and that way
doesn't work. You know, what do you do?

Speaker 4 (23:31):
I mean, I don't know what they can do.

Speaker 12 (23:34):
I mean, they need to stay together, they need to
have a singular, solid, solid message. But I don't know
what they can do. And I don't like the fact that,
you know, it's always on us to fix these messes,
you know what I mean? They put too much emphasis
on well what do y'all, how come y'all haven't okay? Well, look,
we've done everything that we needed to do. And when

(23:56):
I say we, I mean you know, the CBC and
everybody who supports the CBC. I don't know what more
they can do. You know what I'm saying. They they've
stayed on message. They stay on point. I think we
need to keep that. We need to have more jazz
mccrockett type energy. I would like to say some of
that energy from Hawking Jeffries.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
Thank you.

Speaker 12 (24:16):
I would like to see that, you know, support support
the mayoral candidate in New York City for one HAWKEM. Jeffries, please.

Speaker 15 (24:23):
You know, yeah, you get a lot of money from
as a whole Yeah, and that's a whole different, that's
a whole whole different thing. I think your point is
a good one, which is in many cases, the CBC
has been one of the sources for accurate information about
what's going on about it, making sure that our communities
are clear where some of these issues are and what
they're fighting on. And so I think you're absolutely right

(24:46):
and and and why we need to support our elected
officials and elect good ones. So you listen, I really
just wanted to lift up what's happening here. There's going
to be not just not just a great deal of discussions,
but I think mobilizing even behind the scenes around a
basma a large number of issues. So y'all hit me

(25:08):
at just Nathan, let me know who your member of
CBC is, who you're supporting, And I'm gonna get back
to this work, brother love. Y'all have a fantastic Thursday,
and I'll talk to y'all next week.

Speaker 4 (25:19):
All right, y'all, the Money show coming up? All right?

Speaker 2 (25:22):
Man?

Speaker 21 (25:23):
What what is it?

Speaker 8 (25:24):
Man?

Speaker 22 (25:24):
What is it?

Speaker 4 (25:26):
But trying to get to work.

Speaker 23 (25:29):
But I got drama right now, got drama, Just kick
right now, just kick the down dog at the crage
a shot, you got it.

Speaker 4 (25:38):
But it's what you got on that do that?

Speaker 23 (25:41):
Do holdo ho shut up, shoty, shoty dogs.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
You're acting crazy.

Speaker 23 (25:51):
I can't leave you right now, too much drama going on.

Speaker 4 (25:53):
I just go and I'm control of people.

Speaker 11 (25:56):
Tell me.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
Yard, ask your question. Do you know that you would
have more peace in your life if you just come
to work doubted? Right now, I'm dealing with these dogs
right now.

Speaker 24 (26:11):
You had no going crazy?

Speaker 23 (26:13):
Shut Okay, it's my dog, baby daddy, my dog, my dog.

Speaker 4 (26:20):
My lady Lady. Yes, her baby, her first baby daddy.

Speaker 23 (26:25):
You know he was he was like a one of
them light a little Collie or golden Golden retriever type
of dog. But then she just had baby with another
dog with a dogmin and pistol. You can't and the
fird baby and the firs of her first pubby daddy.
He came over he been over here. But now yeah,

(26:45):
the fir the first plubby daddy, he came over here.
He was over here last night. She had the baby,
the money and the new the new dog baby daddy
came over here and they mad, they going at it shout.

Speaker 2 (26:57):
So the two baby daddy dogs are Lady Lady had
Lady already had a baby by she.

Speaker 12 (27:04):
Had preppies already like three months ago in there. She
just just had some old puppies and he, I guess
he feelings some kind of way because she's that dad
him Pubbys and now she got puppish from a new dog.
And now he is now he out there in the
front yard acting crazeous, and he brought some other dog
with him.

Speaker 4 (27:20):
I think they hit cousin. Okay, So what's what's the
new baby daddy name?

Speaker 12 (27:28):
The new daddy his name Apollo?

Speaker 10 (27:31):
Pollo.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
So Pollo and King going at it and they and
they are about to fight over later they got.

Speaker 23 (27:37):
You would I don't know if they fight nobody. I
think he did feelshed On got away because she got Pubby.

Speaker 4 (27:41):
With another with another dude, another dog. Dude, Man, it's
a lot.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
How many how many puppish lady had by the first,
my King? How many pup the hair about a new dog?

Speaker 4 (28:14):
I hate some gummies. I have some questions.

Speaker 25 (28:17):
As the early bird gets the worm, then why do
good things come to those who wait?

Speaker 24 (28:22):
And Cinderella's shoe fit perfectly? Then why did it fall off?
Why have I never seen a baby pigeon? If you
describe something as indescribable. Then haven't you just described it?
If I get out of the shower.

Speaker 25 (28:34):
Clean, then how is the towel get dirty? How does
a sponge hold water if it's full of holes? Why
is it called a building if it's already built. Why
does quicksand work so slowly? If you're not supposed to
eat at night? Then why is there a light in
the fridge. Why are they called apartments if they're hell
stuck together.

Speaker 24 (28:53):
Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic
called rush out?

Speaker 11 (28:58):
Why is it called shipping when it goes by truck,
but cargo when it goes by ship.

Speaker 4 (29:03):
The four years it your favorite.

Speaker 13 (29:05):
Restaurant has been inside of a thousand different mouths.

Speaker 4 (29:09):
Right, that's a good.

Speaker 1 (29:10):
Point, right, Holy chess man has woman? Yes, yeah, Y
want to help you to the team.

Speaker 4 (29:19):
It's Garrett Gary. Good morning, Good morning, Riki, Good morning America.

Speaker 11 (29:24):
Good morning in the US. Thursday, A beautiful, beautiful day
in the neighborhood. And here's what's happening in celebrity news, Y'allrerika,
the prayer words are being solicited, y'all for R and
B single Mario, y'all. And I'm feeling real bad for Mario,
but he's really sad, noney, he said, y'all, and he
is tired of the accusation y'all. There he doesn't like
black women, honey, and it's a sad thing, y'all. Mario said,

(29:44):
enough is enough, y'all. Now he's speaking out because you know,
people are saying, you know, that he does not like
black women, the R and B single, honey. He recently
spoke out against brewing rumors y'all that he doesn't like
black women.

Speaker 4 (29:56):
He said. Take it to his Instagram story to shut
the claim down.

Speaker 11 (30:00):
He wrote, quote, I'm so tired of the black women's
slander in the comments about how I don't like black
women and how black women aren't loved, and he says
that if you're making these comments hashtag Murio continue, I'm
convinced that you have a problem with black women unquote.

Speaker 4 (30:18):
Isn't that's something y'all that just may have to go out.

Speaker 11 (30:21):
To say you don't like black women because he just
recently married a non black woman. And then you know,
they say, it's just like I guess every time they
see him he's with non black women and stuff. So
now he's really speaking out regarding this and stuff that.
You know, people saying that he don't like black women,
but he does like and he just don't marry them. Yes, yeah,
I mean that's what it seems like. Yeah, but it's

(30:43):
sad do y'all. But hell, there's a lot of them.
Mothers need to be out there screaming at Den Hunty
because I mean, oh what I've been reporting ladies and
the Shannon Sharps and all the other people. And you know,
people say they don't like black women because black women
just not getting a chance. And they work real hard,
they get educated, hunting, they do things. They have babies
for these men, and the men don't marry them, then
they go marry somebody else that's of non African American descent.

Speaker 4 (31:06):
So people are getting tired of it.

Speaker 11 (31:08):
So now more people are speaking out regarding this when
they see these men of African descent that decide not
to marry women of color. So we just got to
keep him lifted up in prayer because he's upset about
it and he's tired of people saying it to him
because it may be affecting his career. So you know,
once black women get tired, honey, they take their dollars
back and put them elsewhere.

Speaker 4 (31:27):
So there's nothing you can do about it. Nothing you
can do about it. Nothing.

Speaker 11 (31:33):
So let's continue to keep all parties that men that
decided not to marry women of color in our prayer, honey,
and hopefully proferitly there.

Speaker 4 (31:41):
Is gonna be upright, a special prefident, yes, a special.

Speaker 11 (31:46):
All right, moving on, and I'm deserving the news, y'all.
Mariah carry baby, Oh I love Mariah Carey, Brad, calm
yourself down. Mariah Carrey is back, honey, and she is
speaking out, they say, Honey. Mariah Carey is tight lips,
honey when it comes to the men of her past
and of her present.

Speaker 4 (32:02):
Honey.

Speaker 11 (32:03):
This girl did to sit down with Gail Kenny other day,
and you know, I mean, she chatted about her life
and her.

Speaker 4 (32:08):
Soon to be released here what's the title here? Here?

Speaker 11 (32:13):
Here for it all album, honey, and Mariah praised, y'all,
mister Anderson Pack for his contribution to the project. Not
a two are rumor to be in a private relationship.
While she didn't confirm our deny, honey, where they say
romantically Ramiah, Mariah.

Speaker 4 (32:27):
Did share that they're in a whole hand holding club.
Isn't that nice? Y'all? Are y'all familiar with a hand
holding club? That's when you just hold hand and I.

Speaker 11 (32:36):
Guess you're talking, you do Bible versus and you know,
stuff like that, which I think more people should be
in a hand held holding club, because, honey, if if
it would be less kidd never.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
I'm sorry, I thought now, I thought about this joke
that right here told me, yes, they know it's a
mist it was.

Speaker 11 (33:00):
But anyway, now, when her ex husband Nick Cannon was
brought up regarding how they co parented at twenteenth, this
is what miss Mariah said.

Speaker 1 (33:09):
Did you reach out to him? Did he reach out
to you? I reached out to him?

Speaker 2 (33:13):
Why him?

Speaker 1 (33:14):
He's brilliant. That's a good reason. He's really a great artist.
Now you know there are pictures of you all holding hands.
Is this just he just likes to hold my hand?
He scraps my hand.

Speaker 4 (33:27):
I don't know what he's doing.

Speaker 1 (33:30):
I think holding hands is very nice.

Speaker 5 (33:32):
You and your two children, and how you navigate because
you're a co parent with Nick Cannell, how you navigate
co parenting when his life is so public.

Speaker 8 (33:41):
I kind of feel like it's best if I don't
talk about him, because he can just be in his
own world, no offense to him.

Speaker 11 (33:50):
Oh, I felt bad for Nick. She doesn't want to
talk about him. I want to talk about Nick.

Speaker 2 (33:57):
Huh.

Speaker 7 (33:58):
That was very.

Speaker 4 (33:58):
Respectful what she said. She don't talk about it. Yeah,
but he's the father of her twins.

Speaker 7 (34:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (34:05):
On her album, she'll have to talk about him, yeah,
she said. Yeah, she'll answer whatever question she feels comfortable answering.

Speaker 15 (34:12):
And that's that.

Speaker 26 (34:13):
Oh well, I just feel so bad for But she
supposed say. Nigga is a loving man. He's the father
of my beautiful twins, and we all love one another.
You know, we live in separate lives. But I love
Nick and my kids love their father.

Speaker 8 (34:27):
Why would she say all of that when they talking
to her about herself and her project and stuff like that.

Speaker 4 (34:33):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (34:34):
He said she would prefer to not discuss him because
sometimes he be in his own little world.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
There's nothing wrong with that. And she said, you know, respectively.

Speaker 11 (34:41):
I just feel bad. I think she should at least
say something nice install something like that. But she said
what she said and stuff, and you know, because she
talked about mister Pat said they hold hands and stuff.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
So but you know we congratulations a bond, that's a bond,
and hold her hands for the kids.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
Yeah, no, no, no, The Anderson pat likes to grab
her hand.

Speaker 2 (35:00):
Uh not.

Speaker 1 (35:03):
That first part was about.

Speaker 4 (35:06):
Some people are just handholders.

Speaker 1 (35:07):
Yeah, he likes to just grab her hand all the
time when they walk in and stuff like that.

Speaker 4 (35:11):
That's an affection, and that's the sign of affection. I
guess when you hold somebody's town, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
You have to ask them.

Speaker 4 (35:17):
Yeah, who made the song I want to hold your hand?

Speaker 11 (35:23):
Beatles man, no doubt that one the Beatles, But it
was a black person to Lakeside. I'm doing the Lakeside version.
Sound was right, the Asian version right? Excuse me, honey,
for all you pros with you'all singing?

Speaker 4 (35:40):
All right?

Speaker 11 (35:41):
The Colorda day, then hunt is one of my favorite clauds.
My Colorda today is Byzantine. On the high, you say
Byzantine and on the lawn just say beautiful, my gent
that's your color for today. For more tea and more
couple weeks about the monshe dot come and follow me
a Gary W.

Speaker 2 (35:54):
D t e A for more delicious I'm wanting for
a sexual sexual transmit disease. You know when your medicine
cabin and came up with the color and what's what's
on the low end is.

Speaker 21 (36:06):
What is the magenta W T E A S T T.
Something you need to tell us, Gart, It's a long story.
Honey off the air, y'all giving up a Gary with
the T?

Speaker 7 (36:23):
Did you see that?

Speaker 4 (36:24):
Posts people are talking.

Speaker 1 (36:27):
Here's what's on the Rocky Smiley Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (36:31):
We're talking about pre nups in marriage. Are they important
to have or not? Or do you think that they
are just for rich people?

Speaker 1 (36:39):
Well, Ricky.

Speaker 8 (36:39):
Former NBA star Carlos Boozer found himself in the hot
seat after having an open and honest conversation with his
girlfriend about marriage and prenups. He wants a prenup if
they decide to get married, but she does not. And
here's how the conversation went down.

Speaker 4 (36:56):
How do you feel about a creen up?

Speaker 10 (36:58):
I mean, one of my biggest fears is, you know,
thinking you have everything and you're good and.

Speaker 25 (37:03):
Then just getting the rug pulled out from underneath you.

Speaker 1 (37:06):
So I never want to be in a position where that.

Speaker 15 (37:08):
Happens to me.

Speaker 22 (37:10):
Okay, So in my personal opinion, like you lived your
entire life without being until a few weeks ago, like
coming into it. You should keep whatever you've built, and
I should keep whatever I built. And once we start
together on a journey of marriage and down that path,
and we put everything fifty to fifty.

Speaker 1 (37:29):
Oh well.

Speaker 5 (37:31):
According to stats, roughly fifteen percent of people who have
been married or are currently engaged have signed a prenup.

Speaker 1 (37:38):
Younger generations are leading the charge.

Speaker 5 (37:40):
Over forty percent of millennials and gen z have signed
a prenup, compared to just fifteen percent of the overall population. Now,
prenups were before we used to view them negatively, but
they increasingly are seen as a practical tool for financial
planning and marital stability.

Speaker 4 (37:56):
So there's money.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
We want to know. What are your thoughts on prenups
and are they necessary in marriages today?

Speaker 4 (38:02):
Hit us up at eight six six nw riquet. What
do y'all think?

Speaker 17 (38:07):
Rock?

Speaker 16 (38:07):
That's a bad off, one man, it's uh pretus because
if you have, if you have, if you coming into
the situation and you are very wealthy and you've built
an empire of wealth, and then your fiance maybe has not,
I'm kind of what what Carlos says, like, Okay, now

(38:28):
that we're starting this new thing together, everything.

Speaker 7 (38:31):
From this point on that we built, that we're building together.
From this point on, it's fifty fifty. Let's go like
it's all us.

Speaker 4 (38:38):
But everything that I already had, I keep. You know
what I'm saying. That makes sense.

Speaker 1 (38:42):
But prenups are bad.

Speaker 5 (38:43):
You can put stuff in prenups like hey, if you
if you find out I got an outside maybe tomorrow,
then you get the house, bye bye.

Speaker 26 (38:50):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (38:51):
You can put things in the peanup that says in
five years you get this much, in ten years, you
get this much, the kids will be taken care of whatever.

Speaker 11 (38:58):
Yeah, yeah, you gotta have some skin in the game
to take some out yeap. What are your thoughts When.

Speaker 8 (39:06):
I got married, if she wanted me to sign one,
I would have. I would have signed anything or whatever
because I loved it just that much. And but we
didn't sign anything. Like we share everything, everything, everything, And.

Speaker 4 (39:19):
What are your thoughts?

Speaker 2 (39:20):
Gary?

Speaker 4 (39:21):
My thing is?

Speaker 11 (39:22):
I mean with a prena, I don't know if I
was signed one or not, but like I have a
friend hunt she got married and honey, the guy moved
in with her, but he wanted her to put him
on the title, and.

Speaker 4 (39:35):
She told him no, which is right. So you ain't
finna get on my damn title.

Speaker 11 (39:39):
And then we get married and you put I can
put your name on my house tight and moved in
with me?

Speaker 4 (39:45):
On me and leave me?

Speaker 11 (39:45):
Did you take half of my damn house to go somebody?
So you ain't gotta sign no prenum. You just tell
him no, you ain't getting this. I ain't putting you
on the title.

Speaker 4 (39:52):
Whatever.

Speaker 11 (39:52):
You could just move on in and stuff or whatever,
and that's that. But as for that boozer guy, whoever
he was, honey, he sold her. You ad me you
knew when you met me when I was working at
the damn diner, so you knew I didn't have as
much as you was working under down he plays.

Speaker 4 (40:09):
What Okay? Then he made yes, Yes, so he got money.

Speaker 11 (40:13):
So if he met her and she ain't had no
damn money, but you still want to be with me
and marry me, And so why I got a tide
of prenup?

Speaker 19 (40:18):
You know what I had?

Speaker 11 (40:19):
I had that much when we got into the marriage.
So hey, okay, well what do you think you owe her?

Speaker 4 (40:23):
Well? He oh, if she married him and they the divorce,
she should get half. Why half time on basketball?

Speaker 11 (40:31):
But remember what I just said before you knew I
didn't have no damn money when you met me.

Speaker 2 (40:34):
Okay, So why you thinking like that You're gonna stay
where you're at. I was married for twelve years and
I just went on and gave her hand. She got
two hundred and fifty dollars. I got the other hand,
went on by my business cut up. We're talking about
prenups this morning, and uh aren't they necessary in marriages today?

Speaker 4 (40:53):
Would you want your spouse to sign one? So we're
talking about it? Eight six six nine R I c
k E?

Speaker 17 (40:58):
Why?

Speaker 2 (40:58):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (40:59):
Real quick? Before we goes to the phone, Frida's what
are your thoughts?

Speaker 5 (41:02):
Well, I don't have a prenup my husband and I
because you know, I actually made more than him when
we married, but now he makes more than me, so now.

Speaker 1 (41:11):
You know, if he screws up, I'll just take half.
But it's worked out better that way.

Speaker 5 (41:17):
But I just think I think they are a smart
move because you can put whatever you want in the peanup.
If you make gazillion gazillion dollars and you're making some
and you're marrying somebody who doesn't. Of course, you want
to protect your your financial you.

Speaker 1 (41:30):
Know, freedom. So yeah, if I was a gazillionaire, i'd
sign one.

Speaker 4 (41:35):
All right, let's go to the phone. Good morning, my
name is I.

Speaker 18 (41:42):
Would want my mouse to sign a prenup because he
didn't want me when I had nothing, so he doesn't.

Speaker 15 (41:49):
Have to share it when I have something.

Speaker 3 (41:51):
Now, Jamie call him from Raleigh, And yes, I do
believe in prenups.

Speaker 4 (41:57):
I just think you need to protect yourself. She needs
to protect herself as well. Things change in relationships.

Speaker 15 (42:04):
People get upset and they do things that you don't
think that they would do. So yeah, I agree that
a pleanup probably is necessary in most relationships.

Speaker 18 (42:14):
No, and my name is Mikayla, Generational, Champa.

Speaker 22 (42:17):
Mitchell from Florida.

Speaker 2 (42:19):
It depends if if the person is rich, sure, but if.

Speaker 4 (42:23):
If I'm broke, I don't even know prenup. My wife
would be entitled to everything I made with her.

Speaker 10 (42:31):
Good morning. My name is Niki and I'm calling from
Little Rock, Arkansas. And you know what I feel like
if a prenup is what one you know one spouse
is asking for or want to sit down and talk about.

Speaker 17 (42:47):
I mean, I don't see anything wrong with it.

Speaker 15 (42:50):
You know, I think.

Speaker 2 (42:51):
Everybody's need a prenump, you know, no matter man a woman,
not personal.

Speaker 4 (42:56):
She's my vernacle.

Speaker 15 (42:57):
But I believe you came in with.

Speaker 21 (42:59):
Just as.

Speaker 15 (43:01):
So take what you came in with.

Speaker 2 (43:03):
Everybody to leave what they asked that for, what they
worked hard for.

Speaker 17 (43:06):
Yes, yes, my name is Citia Gallo.

Speaker 4 (43:09):
I'm in Logo, Florida.

Speaker 17 (43:11):
I definitely believe in them, and I would like him
to sign it. The reason why is because any kind
of debt that he has before he marries me. In
the same verse, I think he's responsible for as well
as any money that I've made or he's made before
we met, I think it belongs to that person.

Speaker 19 (43:26):
But once we're together, I believe that it's joint. My
name is Candela.

Speaker 18 (43:31):
I'm from Kansas City, and yeah, I would want my
about to sign up.

Speaker 15 (43:37):
Free up.

Speaker 18 (43:38):
They are necessary if you are going to earn a
million dollars in your lifetime, with most of us will
even if you're only earning fifty thousand dollars today over
a period of twenty years, that's that's quite a bit
of some and sometimes these men come into relationships for
what they can gather. I remember my it asking me

(43:58):
to get along against my house, and I said, I
might love you, but I don't.

Speaker 11 (44:02):
Love you that much.

Speaker 2 (44:06):

but there is a thing called posting up too.

Speaker 21 (44:34):
You know what.

Speaker 11 (44:34):
A post on your agreement is similar to a prenup
to your agreement, except that it is drafted after a
couple is married and then the unfortunate event that your
marriage is having a secure posting up to your agreement
in place can protect your interest and defend your future.
So they have post enough too, So once you get married,
you could get a posting up if you didn't get
the prenup.

Speaker 4 (44:54):
And you see her.

Speaker 2 (44:55):
Walker with her new man, and she got on some
light blue kitty hills. You know you've been working all

Battle after another comes out. Tell us a little bit
about it right now.

a great cast.

Speaker 19 (45:44):
Everyone knows you got Leonardo DiCaprio and Seohn Penn. Tianna
Taylor says infinity, and we're all excited to finally for
people to finally be able to see it. We got
some action, we got a lot of humor, a lot
of heart and exciting stuff. It's got action. It's just
I think I think something in there for everyone.

Speaker 8 (46:05):
We know, Regina, you always make us laugh at movies,
but you're kind of more serious in this movie. What
is your favorite type of movie to start in, comedy
or drama?

Speaker 19 (46:14):
I don't have a favorite. It's so funny, people ask me.
I mean, I love them both. I love them both
and like my kids. You know, you gotta love your kids.

Speaker 11 (46:21):
At least.

Speaker 19 (46:22):
That's amount that's.

Speaker 11 (46:26):
Got it so quiet, Regina and scary movie six Now
that has been confirmed, So what can you tell us
about it?

Speaker 19 (46:33):
You know, I can't tell you. I can't now because
I'm gonna get soon and we don't want you soon. Girl.
You don't know I ain't doing that. Well wait, I
heard that. What I can say though, is that we
got a lot of we do have, like the original

(46:53):
cast coming back and then and it's and it's gonna
be funny, and it's gonna be funny and and and
they are they're gonna push it. So that's all I
can say.

Speaker 8 (47:02):
Yeah, speaking of the movie sequels, is there a girls
trip to in the works?

Speaker 19 (47:07):
Trip is it's I mean, allegedly it's coming okay, and
so we're getting.

Speaker 11 (47:13):
Close allegend, girl, But I think you know if the
cast you said there. I think they should add at
least Gobori, Sib and Lizzle. I think they would be
great to be on the trip with y'all because I mean,
they have a lot to talk about, don't you think.

Speaker 19 (47:29):
No, that was random hottiness.

Speaker 11 (47:31):
Tell me why. I was just thinking about those girls.
I mean, you know, and and I was looking at
the original cast. I just thought that those two girls
would just you know, bring something else to the trip,
you know, And that's just in my mind, Rerginia.

Speaker 1 (47:45):
So just don't please don't.

Speaker 7 (47:50):
Yeah, I don't. I don't know.

Speaker 19 (47:52):
We can't put you in charge of casting yet now.

Speaker 4 (47:58):
Because I don't know. I mean, I don't know.

Speaker 19 (48:01):
To be honest, I'm not sure where we go on
this one. You know, I have not been I haven't
read what you know what planning that's supposed to be
coming soon, and I'm excited.

Speaker 6 (48:12):
So we'll see.

Speaker 4 (48:13):
We're gonna see it.

Speaker 11 (48:14):
And then my quick for free with not okay, So Regina,
now they said, you tell me this is it truth
that at one point in your life that you wanted
to become a nun? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (48:23):
Yeah, really I did.

Speaker 19 (48:24):
I well, I mean, it looks incredibly peaceful, and it
is singularly focused. Yeah, I want to be a priest
that look God you did and what happened?

Speaker 4 (48:39):
I was touched. I'm not.

Speaker 1 (48:44):
Let's keep going it.

Speaker 4 (48:45):
Don't even worry about that. Regina.

Speaker 7 (48:48):
Listen, man were talking to amazing actress Regina Hall. New
movie out One Battle Left Another is in theaters tomorrow.

day after. And I'm terrible. I'm not that great on
social media, but I'm trying. But please, you know, tom

you're going to enjoy the movie. I don't even have
to say I think. So everybody come out and support tomorrow.

Speaker 7 (49:22):
Regina Hall, we appreciate you so much. Thanks for taking
the time to join us. Y'all give it up with
Gina Hall.

Speaker 15 (49:27):
Yeah, Esa.

Speaker 1 (49:39):
On the FREAKYT Moining Morning Show.

Speaker 4 (49:41):
Got you front page right here. Afraida is good morning,
Good morning, Ricky.

Speaker 1 (49:45):
It is Thursday, September twenty fifth.

Speaker 5 (49:47):
Here's what's going on in the news, we are learning
more about the death of thirty two year old Kevin
Rodriguezavalla on Universal's news Stardust Racers roller coaster. Savalla, who
used a wheelchair and had a spine condition, died last
week from multiple blunt impact injuries. Now, state investigators now
say the rides systems were functioning as intended, and Universal

(50:10):
insists equipment was intact throughout Pasiphilists family, represented by attorney
Ben Crump, argues his disability was not a factor. They
believe he suffered fatal head trauma mid ride. The coaster
is closed and deputies have opened a manslaughter review as
the push for answers continues. TSU Ricky, a proud public

(50:31):
HBCU in Nashville, had some unexpected guests this week. A
handful of white men, calling themselves fearless debates rolled onto
campus in maga hats, clutching signs that read DEI should
be illegal and deport all illegals now. Campus police quickly
escorted them off the grounds, while TSU officials praised students

(50:52):
for handling that circus with calm and respect and for
the record, TSU is not some hub for undocumented students.
Despite the group's talking points, critics say if Fearless Debates
is really looking broken dialogue, instead of heckling college students,
maybe they could try showing up at a gun show
or a Proud Boys rally and ask tough questions. They're like,

(51:14):
why so many of America's deadliest mass shooters have been
white men?

Speaker 1 (51:17):
Now that would be fearless.

Speaker 4 (51:19):
Yeah, that's the fact.

Speaker 2 (51:20):
And it's like, like, like ply said when implies went
off on Instagram, like why they keep bothering us? No
nobody black killed anybody, nobody did anything to them. Why
would you show up on Tennessee State University's campus, Like
why why y'all?

Speaker 4 (51:37):
Why do they bother us while we live to instigate
rent free and then want to cry victim.

Speaker 2 (51:42):
If one of them students would have beat their ass
or whatever, then they would have been crying victim, you
know how victimized. And then now you would have really
started something because now those students are there and they're
away from home, off in college or whatever, and like that,
like they really trying to start something at us, but
they not going at night. We didn't kill that young

(52:03):
man at all and had nothing to do with it.

Speaker 4 (52:05):
And you get mad. What are you about to say?

Speaker 5 (52:08):
I'm just gonna say, the best thing we can do
is what those kids did. They remained calm, and those
guys looked like idiots. In other news, Yeah, in other news, Ricky,
before you book that next vac you might want to
google the latest travel advisory list. The State Department just
dropped its twenty twenty five travel warning lists. Two new
countries made that do not travel cut that's North Korea

(52:31):
and Burkina Fasso, alongside hotspots like Haiti, Libya, and Syria.

Speaker 1 (52:36):
But Ricky, it's not just war zones. Even luxury escapes
are not risk free.

Speaker 5 (52:40):
Turks and Caicos is flagged for are actually level two
for crime, along with the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas and
Mexican resorts, and European favorites like France, Spain and Italy
are also on the caution list for theft, protest and
terrorism concerns. For info on these stories and more, Kedriekus
