Tell Ricky.

I said, hello, so.
Speaker 4 (00:40):
Man, you were loved everywhere. God bless you and I
praise God for you.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
Check this out.
Speaker 4 (00:44):
Today's song is by Norman Hutchins. God's got a blessing
and check it out with your name on it. Isn't
it good to know that when God gives us blessings.
First of all, God's blessing business never go bankrupt. God's
blessing business is not defined or confined to the economy.
(01:07):
So no matter how jack the economy may be because
of terrorists and because of a weaponizing of politics against
the have nots, because it's determined to bless the have
God's here's the good news. God's got a blessing from
God's blessing business. And God's blessing business never goes bankrupt.
(01:30):
God's blessing business is something all of us can tap into.
God's blessing business is always giving us just what we need.
Because the word blessing. Watch this in the Bible, it
simply speaks here it is of internal contentment, regardless of
your external circumstances. God's blessing business gives you internal satisfaction
(01:56):
regardless of your external situation. God's blessing business never goes bankrupt.
But here it is.
Speaker 6 (02:04):
God has a.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
Blessing with your name on it. Isn't it good to
know that God's blessings are custom they are tailor made,
They're not.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
Off the rack.
Speaker 4 (02:14):
And so the blessing that fits me may not fit you,
because what God has for you is for you, and
what God has for me is for me. So go ahead,
live this day in the knowledge that God has a
blessing from a blessing business that never goes out of business.
(02:35):
And God has a blessing and check this, your name
is all over it. It's customized. It's tailor made and
it's just for you. God bless you.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
That is Pa behins Man to see you.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Papa Prince with missionary Baptist or let's get this in
his means and.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
Love you bath behinds. Love you, rick You have a
great yeah, but you do let go.
Speaker 7 (03:00):
It's the copage on the rigist smiling morning shot.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
Got right here, Afrita's good morning.
Speaker 8 (03:05):
Good morning, Ricky. It's Thursday, August seventh. Here's what's going
on in the news. Things turned violent at Fort Stewart
in Georgia as five soldiers were allegedly shot by one
of their own. Sergeant Cornelius Redford, now Brigadier General John
Loubis says the quick response on base made all the difference.
Speaker 9 (03:25):
But I know that his soldiers in the area that
witnessed the shooting immediately and without hesitation, tackled the soldiers
subdued him.
Speaker 8 (03:34):
That allowed law enforcement to then take him into custody. Radford,
who has not seen combat, was stationed at Fort Stewart
and is believed to have used his own personal handgun,
not a military weapon. More details are expected in the
coming days. Two centuries later, and we're still putting Confederates
on pedestals. Literally, The government is playing to reinstall a
(03:56):
statue of Confederate General Albert Pike in DC Judiciary Square.
Protesters tore it down after George Floyd's murder in twenty
twenty to twenty seven. Foot statue went up over a
century ago, not to honor Pikey's or actually Pike's shaky
war record, but his work with the Freemasons, never mind
that he was a slave owner in a white supremacist
(04:17):
Now it's reportedly going back up in October. Back to
school season is here, which means it's not just the
kids who need a routine, parents, grandparents, everybody's got to
get back on a real sleep schedule. Studies show when
parents are stressed, kids sleep worse and it affects their health.
And now a massive study out of China links bad
(04:38):
sleep to over one hundred and seventy diseases, everything from
diabetes and dementia to high blood pressure and even gain green.
Yeah there's an upside though. Good sleep habits can actually
help reverse that damage. So yeah, sleep might just actually
be the real superpower of this school year. For info
on these stories and more, Goderique's MoU Winn Show dot com.
(05:01):
Now here's a lick at sport rock dye. The sports
genius is in the building.
Speaker 10 (05:07):
Yeah, what's up there, ladies and gentlemen. Well, Collage Football
Coach's Top twenty five rankings have been released. This is
not the AP ranking, but this is the first one
of the year that means we can close the college
football season. So Texas is number one, Ohio State's number two,
Penn State three, Georgia number four, Notre Dame five, Clemson six,
Oregon seven, Alabama's eight, LSU is nine, and Miami is ten.
(05:32):
The official AP pole will be out when the season starts.
All that good stuff right there. Man Leangelo Ball one
of the Ball brothers. He's the brother of course Lonzo
and LaMelo Ball, who are both very wealthy NBA players.
Will Leangelo revealed that he quit playing basketball because he
was in the NBA G League and the money wasn't
good and he was kind of a big baller and
(05:54):
he wasn't making much money, so he quit and started
a rap career and that's pretty much why he's not
playing basketball anymore.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Wow wow, Yeah.
Speaker 11 (06:03):
He better go back to play.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
I'm just saying I better get back in that gym
that in this studio.
Speaker 11 (06:13):
Don't play with basketball people pay Hey man.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
Let me tell you something.
Speaker 10 (06:16):
Kansas City Chiefs tighty End Travis Kelsey old video has
surfaced and has went viral. A video from back at
twenty sixteen when he was on this show called Watch
What Happens Live and was asked if if a deal
breaker is when a woman does not reached his bedroom
by the third date.
Speaker 8 (06:32):
Here's what you see. Is it a deal breaker if
a girl out sleep with you after the third date?
Speaker 3 (06:37):
The third date?
Speaker 1 (06:38):
I feel like that's like the that's the breaker right
there through three dates.
Speaker 10 (06:42):
That's like wow, hey man, I mean Taylor Swift Malaban
by date three with hell what you think?
Speaker 12 (06:49):

Speaker 11 (07:17):
Well, y'all, things are changing over at B E T.
Speaker 7 (07:20):
The CEO Black Entertainment Television Network, Scott Mills has just
announced that the network is suspending both the Soul Train
and be Et hip Hop Awards. He says that his
team is actively thinking about where those award shows might
best live as the media climate continues to evolve and
the BT hip Hop Awards first launch back in two
thousand and six. Over the years, the ceremony became one
(07:42):
of the few nationally broadcast events where hip hop artists
got their flowers, and the Soul Train Awards first launched
in nineteen eighty seven, carrying on the legacy of Don
Cornelia's celebrating.
Speaker 11 (07:53):
The best r and b artists.
Speaker 7 (07:54):
BT suspension of the award shows comes after talks to
sell the network from under the Paramount Brothers. Thought last year, Wow,
it's gonna be crazy to see the BT hip Hop
Awards go away.
Speaker 11 (08:05):
I thought that was doing pretty good.
Speaker 14 (08:07):
This last one was good. It was people really liked
this last one.
Speaker 15 (08:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
So I.
Speaker 11 (08:15):
Don't know, I don't.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
Know what it is, but they said it's suspended indefinitely,
so hopefully.
Speaker 7 (08:20):
You know, and the media climate does change, so I
don't know, maybe you know everything, So they probably gonna
move it, you know, they probably trying to.
Speaker 11 (08:29):
Find a new home for it.
Speaker 7 (08:30):
And see where they can. They might put it on paramount,
They might put it on you know. Ain't no telling,
Ain't no telling, who knows?
Speaker 11 (08:37):
All right, y'all?
Speaker 7 (08:38):
Moving on, Tianna Taylor opened up to her followers about
her health this week. She revealed that she will be
stepping back from public appearances to address some vocal challenges
that she's been quietly dealing with for a while now.
Tianna says her doctors informed her that she needs vocal
surgery immediately because they found a non cancerous growth on
one of her vocal cords and that has been affecting
(09:00):
her voice and causing discomfort. But thankfully they called it
and it is treatable. Tianna Taylor says her healing sabbatica
will not delay the release of her fourth studio album,
Escape Room Now, or it won't delay her new movie
either that comes out next month. It's called One Battle
After Another, which also stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Regina Hall, Anne
Wood Harris. Sanna says, thank you for the grace, the
(09:23):
love and the space to heal. I can't wait to
be on another side of this stronger, softer and singing again.
So we're gonna keep Tiana Taylor in our prayers. And,
last but not least, according to Ditty's lawyer Nicole, they
have initiated talks with Donald Trump's team regarding a possible
presidential pardon. She says, it's my understanding that we've reached
(09:46):
out and had conversations.
Speaker 11 (09:48):
In reference to a parton.
Speaker 7 (09:49):
Ditty is very is a very hopeful person, and I
believe that he remains hopeful Trump will grant it. This
comes just days after Trump stated nobody asked, but I
know people are thinking about it. He added, I think
some people have been very close to asking. The topic
of a partner has circulated since the start of Colmes' trial.
Although he was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges,
he was convicted of two counters of transportation to engage
(10:12):
in prostitution, His sensing his schedule for October third, and also,
according to an interview with his lawyer did he isn't
done with the stage and he's already planning a huge
comeback performance at Madison Square Garden after his prison release.
Here's what he had to say.
Speaker 16 (10:26):
Kids and get back with his mother and the people
who love him and miss him.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
One thing he said.
Speaker 8 (10:30):
He said, he said, when he's going to be back.
Speaker 3 (10:31):
In Madison Square Guard.
Speaker 5 (10:32):
He said to me, he's be back in Madison Square
Guard doing what I guess, being on stage.
Speaker 11 (10:38):
I think people would definitely come out.
Speaker 7 (10:40):
I think people are gonna want to see a show,
see who's gonna perform with him, see what it's gonna
be like. And he's from New York, so I think
people are gonna come support just to see what's going on. Anyway,
and it's such King Combs is probably gonna perform. He
probably gonna, you know, hopefully he put all the people
on that you know, stuck by his side. All right,
y'all were gonna rap up the I spout on that note.

to be that drunk as somebody's wedding and you are
the pastor that officiated the.
Speaker 14 (12:50):
Speaking of weddings.
Speaker 18 (12:51):
It's hood to get married wearing a probation ankle monitor
on under your wedding dress. It's ghetto when the groom
is your probation officer called leverance. It's hood to custs
out a bank teller for making you sure idea because
you cash in a thirty two dollars check. It's ghetto
to cuts him out when that thirty two dollars check
(13:11):

married to a man and not take his last name
because you don't feel like updating your driver's license. It's
ghetto to not take his last day because you used

Speaker 22 (22:54):
I don't know if you know this, but I am
a movie buff, Like going to the movies. Watching movies
has always been one of my favorite things to do.
And we are getting ready to enter into a crazy
I think season four Black filmmakers. I don't know if
(23:14):
you all have seen these or heard about these, but
like it's just a few that I think are like
incredible and so the most recent and coming out this
month in a week is Spike Lee's new movie, and
he's doing this in conjunction with A twenty four, which,
for those other movie buffs is just like a crazy
(23:36):
production house. But this is the first time in eighteen
years that he's pairing up with Denzel again and for
highest to lowest, and it's Denzel Jeffrey Wright asap Rocky
even my man Wendel Pierce and Denzel is like a
music mogul, and it's a suspense movie. It deals with kidnapping.
(24:01):
It is like it did Crazy at Cannes Festival in May.
And like what I'm hearing from Spike Lee is that
literally asap Rocky goes toe to toe with Denzel.
Speaker 12 (24:15):
Nut.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
Oh wow, I can't wait.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
Definite, I'm excited for that.
Speaker 22 (24:20):
Yeah, no, you got to check that out. But the
trailer that's blowing my mind is this new Jordan Peel
fee and film called Him and Man your Boy, Marlon
Wayans goes in on this. It's a horror film, of
course it's Jordan peel but it's about a college quarterback
(24:41):
who like literally is getting drawn into the dark side
by his idol who's a legendary quarterback, which is which
is Marlon Wayans. And it's almost it's almost like Marlon
Wayans is in some ways playing the devil and leading
this young guy to sacrifice it all to win at football.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
But of course, man, the visuals.
Speaker 22 (25:05):
Are insane and to and to take this horror genre
into the sports space, Jordan Peel is just nuts. Man, Like,
I would hate to be in Jordan Peele's mind on
a bad day because I'm real killing.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
Where it's going to take.
Speaker 5 (25:21):
Yeah, like it it it is.
Speaker 22 (25:24):
It is such a dark place, but also such a
fascinating and creative place, and so I'm excited that film
is coming out in September. But for those of you
that are really movie buffs, man, I love when black
folks are taking new takes on movies that have traditionally
been done by white characters. And so Eddie Murphy announced
(25:44):
that he's redoing the Pink Panther series, which is really
interesting because obviously there's a French motif there. But the
one that I think is really cool is Michael B.
Jordan is remaking The Thomas Crown Affair, and this is
like probably as close to a boy the movie as
you get without being bond. It's going to be centered
in London, and the last two were centered in New York.
(26:08):
There was a nineteen sixty eight film, in a nineteen
ninety nine film, but this is really going to center
around Michael B. Jordan's vision of this crime thriller. And
if you've never seen either from nineteen sixty eight or
nineteen ninety nine, you don't really know like how sexy
and cool and amazing this story is going to be.
And to have a black cast and a black lead,
(26:29):
I should say, is uh.
Speaker 5 (26:31):
And Michael B.
Speaker 22 (26:32):
Jordan is directing this film as well. So Thomas Crown
Affair is an exciting new move in how we see
folks reimagining movies with us in it. And so it
led me to think, Rick, if you could see any
movie that had a predominantly white cat as a predominantly
black cast, what movie would it be?
Speaker 3 (26:53):
Oh? The Breakfast Club for sure.
Speaker 8 (26:55):
Ohh.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
And the reason I say that is because I was
the kid that had to go to detention all the time.
Speaker 3 (27:02):
I had to go to summer school all the time.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
You meet all these kids from all different walks of
life with all kinds of.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
Problems, from from both.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
Parents in the home to single parent home, to everything,
and uh, that's the DP movie.
Speaker 3 (27:15):
That's one of my favorite movies The Breakfast Club, Yes.
Speaker 8 (27:18):
And the soundtrack.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
Yeah, such a soundtrack.
Speaker 2 (27:22):
I love about Me, How You're Talking to Me and
that seven y'all Class of ninety one.
Speaker 8 (27:31):
So that was the coming of age movie for us, really, yes.
Speaker 22 (27:34):
Sir, Yes, sir, I really was. And I wanted to
flip it in another way. You know, I want to
see I want to see an all white cast doing
all black movies. I want to see an all white
casts in minister society.
Speaker 14 (27:44):
Come on, I don't know if that don't work in
the hood, No.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
No, it could be.
Speaker 22 (27:52):
It could be in Appalachian West Virginia.
Speaker 3 (27:54):
It could be rural minutes to society.
Speaker 1 (27:56):
Yeah right.
Speaker 18 (27:58):
I wish they could redo like Smoking the Bandit with
the black cast, but it probably wouldn't.
Speaker 14 (28:02):
Work because the police shoot them before they chase him.
That far.
Speaker 3 (28:06):
Not as well. Yeah that's true.
Speaker 22 (28:08):
Not if you made the police black.
Speaker 8 (28:10):
I mean, is that? What about? What about Pretty Woman
with like Idris Elba playing uh, dope, I'll be hot
like that dude and Zendas Julie Roberts, let's go.
Speaker 11 (28:23):
I already got cast.
Speaker 8 (28:25):
And I love this.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
I love to see.
Speaker 22 (28:27):
I'd love to see the Godfather with an African cast.
Let's go yeah, Nigerian gangster. Nigerian gangster.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
No, that's black strip.
Speaker 8 (28:41):
Brothers. They could do step brothers.
Speaker 3 (28:44):
But they couldn't do. They couldn't do.
Speaker 8 (28:46):
They said, we better do this movie called The End.
Speaker 1 (28:49):
He did, right, y'all.
Speaker 22 (28:51):
Hear me a destination on I g and let me
know what you want to see, y'all, thanks, y'all.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
Ain't happy Thursday, black Tony.
Speaker 24 (28:58):
He ain't that.
Speaker 8 (29:00):
Ain't that happen bout the day?
Speaker 18 (29:01):
Not not, not the way that day is starting off
right now.
Speaker 8 (29:04):
Ain't never happen about this?
Speaker 17 (29:05):
Right?
Speaker 2 (29:06):
The law woke us up this morning, closed in our
right mind, shoes on our feet, of roof over our head.
Speaker 3 (29:11):
Just another day that the lord.
Speaker 24 (29:14):
Huh no, no, that food on the phone under this
food on the phone to my stupid couzin ry.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
Y'all, y'all need to get it together, man, And you
can't be calling having areas work for you and then
he don't show up.
Speaker 25 (29:29):
I'm trying to show up, saying about the parking lot,
I had a red Oh yeah, well, I'm trying to
turn it into parking lot real fast to get them
stands on time.
Speaker 8 (29:41):
And I crashed into a car.
Speaker 1 (29:42):
I look up and.
Speaker 6 (29:43):
Darren glood, let me let me tell you something Rick.
First of all, he ain't got no business driving. He
ain't got nobody licensed, He ain't got he he don't
supposed to be on. He don't supposed to be on
the damn bike. This man ain't got none of his

was supposed to be like Jesus.
Speaker 25 (30:04):
But while you crying, why you weren't looking while you
were turning there and crashed in to me?
Speaker 24 (30:08):
Boy, and you want my business in this squeak, You
ain't the police? Why I gotta tell the folks, I
ain't got no damn like to dain't your business.
Speaker 3 (30:17):
Talking to you?
Speaker 6 (30:18):
This is why you have to hire your stuff in
on and the on the reason he crashed, hes gonna
come get off trying to you know whether he told
the police while he crashed, cause, uh, last night his
girlfriend bombed the car. Uh it was a few roachures
were still in there, man, you say, in the car,
(30:38):
but in the car cut the girl coming the girl
around with me and she had roaches in her and
her body.
Speaker 15 (30:44):
Move back to me, what kind of car y'all you
got I'm in the I'm in my girl, or she
had got a v W or rabbit.
Speaker 3 (30:57):
That driving the rap she got got some.
Speaker 8 (31:03):

Speaker 8 (31:22):
And I don't messed up, but messed up this girl.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Punny it.
Speaker 6 (31:27):
Listen, listen here. If you're gonna be driving, you need
to get your afference in or auto. Tony. First of all,
you shouldn't have been rushing to work. I was already
on the parking lot. You turn it, Ricky, Rick Yeah, Well,
can I ask you something because I ain't gonna sit
up here and.
Speaker 17 (31:44):
Live with this man.
Speaker 1 (31:45):
That man wasn't you know?
Speaker 6 (31:46):
That man went in nothing like that. That man was
in a huge jeep Bronco.
Speaker 8 (31:52):
I wasn't in no no gee broncobody.
Speaker 2 (31:59):
Ain't nobody coming to y'all can't pull it a lot

Speaker 6 (32:09):

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Hey, I just I just want to say something Gary,
good morning, Good morning, from from the bottom of my heart.
Speaker 17 (32:35):
Man.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
A lot of people don't hit me up on Facebook,
hit me up on Instagram, and like, you know, hey,
you be doing Gary wrong. And I just want to
say if I had done or said anything that was
hurtful and you know what I'm saying, disparaging towards you,
(32:58):
from my family to your family. I want to apologize
from the bottom of my heart. We need to have
peace on this show.
Speaker 3 (33:07):
Yeah, and so from the bottom of your heart. Yeah,
I just And I even posted a picture of your
cousins the thirty wedding anniversion on art.
Speaker 8 (33:23):
Where did you post it?
Speaker 2 (33:24):
I posted on r S Company Because it's like you
always talk about your family, but you'll never post pictures
of members of Gary family.
Speaker 3 (33:31):
So you got some cousins on Louisville Control.
Speaker 2 (33:34):
And they said, I want to say happy anniversary to
and said, I think that thirty eighth and a wedding
anniversary to Muster and missus Lewis, And I wanted everybody
to go to rs Comedy on Instagram and leave a
nice comment and stuff, because it's not just about my family.
Speaker 3 (33:57):
You have a family family members also being in.
Speaker 14 (34:01):
Uncle for that's the original pat right boy.
Speaker 3 (34:09):
You know you are loved on this show. You are beloved.
Speaker 2 (34:11):
You're a radio legend and stuff, and it's not just
about me and my family. And kind of post pictures
of your family also that is.
Speaker 11 (34:23):
Yes, yeah, you want to help you to the team.
Speaker 8 (34:27):

Speaker 1 (34:30):
Come on today what I'm good morning, Ricky, Good morning America,
Good morning you. Thursday, a beautiful, beautiful day in the neighborhood.
And here's what happened in celebrity news, y'all. Offset is
finally speaking out, y'all, He is speaking out and the
world is definitely listening now. He said, honey, he didn't
miss a beat, y'all. When he was on the Joe
Budden podcast y'all the place on his ex y'all, not
(34:51):
just Cardi B. But he said all of y'all. Now
they're saying that the active rapper, you know, got Loe
Honey into a participator in dating verses down Honey sit
there between Budon and miss Miller support where they you know,
argue which outcome had the best leverage Honey and so
on and so forth. It was very interesting out here
is what Austin had to say.
Speaker 3 (35:13):
If someone down up or down, which one hurts more?
Speaker 8 (35:18):
I ain't ever met none that I left went up,
so I don't know how to expend talking to him
with the jones.
Speaker 1 (35:27):
So every every situation I ever seen go on didn't
work out.
Speaker 11 (35:33):
It's it's like the unseasoned version.
Speaker 1 (35:35):
I mean, like, did you hear what he said? He
trying to say, baby, that baby mss Cardi B may
have left it, but she ain't dated up. She's dating
down like he just ah, he say't nobody left him
and dated up.
Speaker 7 (35:48):
That's you know, some people had to build confidence within themselves.
Everybody know Cardi B did a great job, and we're
all happy that she's happy. But he don't want to
feel like she dated up because he don't want to
make it look like, you know, anybody's better than him.
Speaker 11 (36:03):
So he had a lot of self confidence.
Speaker 1 (36:05):
Exactly. It's good to have confidence, dry and secure. Raise
your hand, raise your hand that you sure don't come.
Speaker 11 (36:11):
Don't come for CARDI B now.
Speaker 1 (36:12):
So I mean, so do y'all would y'all feel that way?
Woul y'all tell somebody, I mean, Ricky Special came rout
to with y'all feel that, y'all? Everybody left, y'all, y'all left,
and they dated down all their day.
Speaker 11 (36:23):
They anything.
Speaker 3 (36:25):
Yeah, I'm saying that.
Speaker 8 (36:26):
Keep quiet, man, speaking on it.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
You can when they yeah, when they pull up to
the school function, their car on start, you know when
when they're out there and they got to put some
gas in the carburetor. Oh no, she's sweating, and they
got the hood up and you and your range rover
and and the kids decided to go go ahead and
(36:51):
ride home with you from the graduation and then they
car won't start hunting. Dude over there is you just
you don't have to say that, you just going off
off of the help like you're concerned. And then just said, well,
I just take the kids but men, I'll meet y'all
figure it out.
Speaker 8 (37:08):
To start the fluid.
Speaker 3 (37:09):
Ready to go?
Speaker 1 (37:10):
Yeah, craank Well, congratulations back, he.
Speaker 3 (37:13):
Still got to carborate and he don't have a feeling.
Speaker 1 (37:15):
Jacob Oh, moving on, John, I'm a celebrity of the
new y'all, I mean, rock t This is a very
interesting story and you probably could help while this command
this quarterback, mister Jaydon Daniels, y'all, a lot of people
are giving him flag. Baby. They said that the Washington
command this quarterback Huney is still catching heat, honey from
(37:36):
after taking his mama. But I say his mama baby,
miss Jema Jackson on an all day shopping street. Now
they're saying, y'all that Jayden went viral when he took
his mama to Nima Mark's baby let her buy out
the entire store. The twenty twenty four NFL offensive rookie
y'all up the Year said, today, I was blessed, hunded
to treat my mama baby to a dad Nimas you know, honey,
we had a great day shopping. We also took he
(37:57):
also took his mama to lunch. Now they're saying, he's
see and him putting up she would put on her
make up, baby trying on per film and all that
kind of stuff they're saying, and you know, a lot
of people was very upset, he said, because he's blessed
his mama for twenty three years, because that's his age.
But they said during the training cap, they're saying, Jade
and Honey granted a fan records you out to sign
her baby boy. Now they said that kid is going
to be the next future franchise quarterback for the Commands.
(38:20):
Now he signed this little white baby boy, honey and
said all this this stuff and people eating his lunch
for that. But a lot of people are very angry,
they said, because his mama is all up on him.
She's not letting him date nobody. They said, she don't
let him go to day protect she gotta protect me.
And you see what happened to what's his name?
Speaker 8 (38:36):
Come on, man, get that I ain't heard wrong that
you said.
Speaker 2 (38:40):
You put your whole life and and you're all the
hard working and did working at Arby's all through the
night to get him through school or whatever you and
let nobody come and put him in a position to
take everything from him exactly.
Speaker 12 (38:53):
Yeah, but.
Speaker 3 (38:54):
Mama.
Speaker 8 (38:55):
The mama's gonna protect his mama.
Speaker 14 (38:57):
And is his money, well, you're.
Speaker 3 (39:02):
One, yeah, but by the streets, he ain't and this
mama ain't having it.
Speaker 8 (39:08):
And I support his mother, and he shot into he's
showing that.
Speaker 10 (39:11):
Listen, your mama didn sacrificed her whole life for him,
and now he's in a position financially where he can
go buy the whole store up and let her have
one or whatever.
Speaker 1 (39:23):
He carried him, honey, yeah, growing inside of her. No charge.
But baby, the people saying she needs a damn hobby,
they're saying, howey, people saying no hobby.
Speaker 11 (39:33):
Come on, now he is the hobby.
Speaker 2 (39:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (39:35):
Well I feel bad because the body say, honey, when
you've married somebody, don't your husband.
Speaker 11 (39:40):
Don't feel bad married?
Speaker 2 (39:41):
Yeah, to get married, he let him, let him enjoy
his career. He needs to be focused on his career
and his mother. He got the rest of his life
to day. Yeah, because because you started getting in these
dark on relationships. And then if she don't understand and
don't have no the same home training that he have
or whatever.
Speaker 3 (40:00):
You can miss his whole mind up and throw his
game off.
Speaker 2 (40:04):
Yeah, you don't know what it's like to be in
a bad relationship, and then you got to go on
stage and you can't focus on what you need to do.
You got to go on stage and remember rap lyrics
and stuff, and you got drama waiting for you when
you come off stage. Hell no, I'm blaming mama. Well,
we're just gonna pray for the family then, honey, because they.
Speaker 3 (40:22):
Got to praise. Jesus said, Mama out together, Ye, and
keep doing what you're doing. And mine, mind you, he ain't.
Speaker 2 (40:32):
He ain't in Walgreen stealing, making videos stealing like like
like whatever, single parents, single parents home.
Speaker 3 (40:39):
She did a damn good job with him, yes.
Speaker 2 (40:42):
Jesus, Yeah, you don't see the us see no videos
of him stealing nothing nowhere.
Speaker 1 (40:46):
Yes, lord, he got a call Shannon Sharp friends and
see if she got a friend.
Speaker 3 (40:50):
But woman he was with.
Speaker 1 (40:52):
Like the colaude today, Honey is one of my favorite cludes.
My colude today. Guys, peach so Bert on the high
you say peach so Bae and on the lawn just
say for light Rmage. That's your colortle for the day.
Speaker 3 (41:02):
Hunting.
Speaker 2 (41:02):
You got so lady, you don't even do the colortle, right, well,
you know when the alphabe's and had this hurt last
night and all of sudden that show come loop in,
no research, no research, y'all are blazes, y'all give it
up a Gary with the sea?
Speaker 8 (41:20):
Did you see that posts? People are talking?
Speaker 23 (41:24):
Here's what's trending on the Lucky Smiley Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (41:28):
All right, every found the Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (41:30):
Ay, there's no set time frame for how long a
person should wait before dating again after either a spouse
passes or a couple gets divorced. Now, it's a personal decision,
and the right time varies from person to person.
Speaker 1 (41:44):
Yeah, RICKI.
Speaker 7 (41:44):
Some people may feel ready to date again within months,
while others may need years or choose to never date again. Ultimately,
the decision should be based on individual readiness and emotional
well being.
Speaker 1 (41:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (41:57):
So, guys, we have a listener who in box asking
for advice on his current situation. So he lost his
wife to cancer a couple of years ago, and now
you know, he's ready to get married again, but his
daughter's upset about it. Not really the marriage. She's probably
upset because he's been dating his deceased wife's best friend
(42:18):
and he recently proposed to her. So he wants to
know if he was wrong for dating the best friend
and proposing to her, and what is a good time
frame for a prisoner start dating again after they lose
a significant other.
Speaker 2 (42:32):
So this morning, we want to know whatether you think
is he wrong for proposing to his late wife wife
best friend? And when is a good time to start
dating after losing a spouse? Gary the Starman, because I
know you sitting up here spending in your chair.
Speaker 3 (42:48):
Yeah, you know.
Speaker 1 (42:50):
I don't think he should date on wife's best friend
number one because if the wife knew she was sick
and knowing that she was gonna pap eventually the past,
she would left him a letter saying I want you
to marry Monique because you know, I think you and
she would make a great couple.
Speaker 3 (43:05):
But she's a good woman. I think she's a good
woman for you. You think she would bless that?
Speaker 1 (43:10):
Yeah, she if she wanted that happen, she should, she
would bless that. Secondly, with my dad, that Hunty, I
did not want my mama to remarry, and she did
not remarry because she don't need to remarry.
Speaker 3 (43:22):
Stepdaddy.
Speaker 1 (43:23):
That's what I don't want because when you get a stepdaddy.
And first of all, huney, he might not be a
decent man. He might have a damn a bunch of
children somewhere, and the something happened to my mama first,
then they gonna come and we want my daddy stuff.
Your dad ain't got nothing here. This is her stuff.
So no, I wouldn't want her to get married. I'm
glad she didn't get married. She had a friend and
I didn't care for him because he ain't had nothing.
If you can't get somebody or they just talked, she
(43:43):
just had somebody to talk to. He'll come over and
sit on the porch. Yeah, so, but hunt, so you don't.
He don't need to come up over here and bad
damn it. Don't be saying nothing like that.
Speaker 14 (43:54):
Mama got you went too far.
Speaker 3 (43:59):
It was not dead.
Speaker 1 (44:05):
We could go to the next person. I don't want
to talk about.
Speaker 7 (44:07):
Oh man, Yes, Mama, geary, Mama, hay, just get your smash.
Speaker 8 (44:16):
Was not mister smile.
Speaker 1 (44:23):
Your mama was getting No honey, my mom wouldn't do
it nothing. Who was to go like this?
Speaker 3 (44:36):
Moving on? Moving on? What are your thoughts? Oh?
Speaker 8 (44:40):
I think he was wrong for that, moye. My mom
never remarried either, because my dad was like the love
of her life. But but if she would have wanted
to get remarried, I wouldn't have had a problem with it.
But not his best friend, not somebody that's a family
member or a friend that's off limits. That's weird.
Speaker 3 (44:55):
Yeah. Well, my grandma died.
Speaker 2 (44:58):
My granddad said, Hey, I got a friend. I said,
you did everything you was supposed to do with my
grandma's living. You this your house, you can you can
have whoever you want over here. I'll be happy to
meet her. And I'm dedicated and lawyer to my grandmother.
But my granddaddy got to live.
Speaker 8 (45:12):
But what if you already knew her? What if it
was a friend of your grandmother's.
Speaker 2 (45:16):
Oh, now that that was uh yeah, that awkward. I
mean it would it would be awkward or whatever. But
you know, if if she nice to him and bringing
him plates over there and stuff like that or whatever,
you know.
Speaker 14 (45:31):
He already have a familiar relationship.
Speaker 1 (45:33):
She writes him up in the Age and stuff.
Speaker 2 (45:35):
Now I wouldn't I wouldn't be too judgmental about it,
because man, you just don't know what somebody going through
mentally and emotionally.
Speaker 14 (45:41):
Well, on the other side of the conversation.
Speaker 10 (45:43):
That means some people may say he and the girlfriend
may have already been messing around.
Speaker 7 (45:50):
Part for the wife, somebody saying attention to somebody somewhere.
Speaker 2 (45:54):
Well, they was messing around. But but you know, you've
been around your wife and you've been watching for years,
watching and me walk back with.
Speaker 3 (46:00):
That fat ass.
Speaker 5 (46:03):
That's why.
Speaker 11 (46:04):
That's why right there, that's the problem.
Speaker 1 (46:08):
That's why a best friend, you're a good man.
Speaker 3 (46:12):
You ain't. You ain't looking at it.
Speaker 2 (46:14):
I mean, Tims, you've been seeing watching timan as with
your peripheral vision.
Speaker 3 (46:17):
You ain't never looked at it.
Speaker 1 (46:19):
That's why, Like an eclipse, like.
Speaker 3 (46:22):
What's the thing to do? Makeup pradition nation?
Speaker 8 (46:24):
Oh Terry Cherry, Yeah, buddy.
Speaker 2 (46:31):
You gotta been watching that, watching her walk down the aisle.
Uh before your wife walked down out of the briant.
Oh that that the onion sitting up there like that
all the years.
Speaker 3 (46:46):
Let's go to the phones. I'm real ignorant.
Speaker 24 (46:52):
Now.
Speaker 3 (46:52):
I think that e Wy, good morning, Thomas Coffee Station, Texas.
Speaker 15 (46:57):
I think you should go ahead on and get married
and move home.
Speaker 3 (47:00):
He's not dead. And that's what she would want.
Speaker 5 (47:02):
That's for that calling from Raleigh.
Speaker 10 (47:04):
I think that I say a year or two.
Speaker 17 (47:07):
It just really depends.
Speaker 12 (47:08):
Some people don't like to be alone.
Speaker 10 (47:10):
But also when it comes to the friends, that's a
hard line.
Speaker 26 (47:14):
And I think it depends on how long.
Speaker 22 (47:16):
But I joke with my friends and say, when I
leave this world, the first one of y'all I see
is going to dinner or taking my husband a pie,
I'm coming to hunch you.
Speaker 5 (47:25):
Hey, this his tie from DC. And it depends on
the person. I don't think I will ever get married
again because I don't know anyone like I know my wife.
But if this is the guy's wife's friend, then she
should know him. He should know her somewhat better than
(47:46):
he would anybody else. So he wants to be compatible
with somebody.
Speaker 12 (47:52):
This is me calling from Maryland, and I think definitely
off limits.
Speaker 8 (47:58):
And I feel like the guy has been has eyes
one of the best friends the whole time he was married.
Speaker 12 (48:04):
And that's no noste.
Speaker 3 (48:08):
Yeah, I had a sid when I was married my
best friend.
Speaker 2 (48:12):
I had always said, if anything, that my best friend
was not married at the time. The first person I
met when I got to Woodlawn High School was Gerald.
I was like, if anything happened to me, I said,
And I told her, I said, man, please take care
of her if anything happened to me, you know. And
I just always had that conversation because he was a
(48:33):
really really nice, respectful he's married now, but but then
he was not. He was very very very nice and
respectful and cool. He looked out for me, He looked
out for my wife.
Speaker 8 (48:46):
Couldn't he take care of her without taking care of her?
Because you look after her? Can he look after her?
Speaker 2 (48:52):
I wouldn't get God, God, God, I mean, when you
get to heaven, you don't know if you're gonna be
with with with who you was with on earth anyway.
You know what I'm saying, whatever you know, she have
to live or whatever, you know, and probably nobody else
might not take care of her, like you know what
I'm saying, like, Hey, you know, hey, y'all just be
(49:12):
together or whether and if if y'all not together together,
that's fine, but just look out for her and whatever
whatever that leads to or whatever that's to y'all's discretion.
Speaker 3 (49:22):
Because I'm gone, I'm not on this earth anymore, but.
Speaker 8 (49:24):
Your spiritual body be looking down on that I ain't
looking down there.
Speaker 1 (49:28):
I was like Vanessa, you're out there to thick.
Speaker 2 (49:30):
With some wings on in heaven, walking on street paving
on their bills. They ain't got to work paint on bills.
Noting this, then they they we see them as heaven
they angels. But I'm sure, I'm sure.
Speaker 3 (49:50):
The streets go.
Speaker 2 (49:51):
You heard me. Now you in heaven, you ain't got
nobody to talk to because you worried about somebody down
on earth that they're working at Burger King. Okay, today
we're having a brother who worked wrote in forcing advice
on dating and getting married again after losing his spouse.
Speaker 3 (50:07):
And you want to know how long should you wait?
Should you you know? And should you should certain people
be off limits? That's the main thing. Eight six sixty nine, Rick,
Let's go to the phones. Good morning to Jay from
law calls for Charlotte.
Speaker 16 (50:20):
I don't know if it's a limit, but it seems
like the individual doesn't have any reverence to the dead wife,
date her friend, and the kid may not even be
old enough to really understand that. So a lot of
communication may be broken somewhere.
Speaker 5 (50:38):
Yes, I'm from originald.
Speaker 22 (50:41):
I'm calling from Making Georgia, I think they should wait
a minimum of a year and family members should be
off limits.
Speaker 12 (50:49):
So my name is Starbara. I'm calling from Annapolis, Indiana,
and I think a year is enough time to regroup
after losing his spouse. It depends on how long they
were married or people have been married, but there are
definitely people who are off limits, definitely, and friends and
family members top that list.
Speaker 16 (51:11):
Good morning morning.
Speaker 8 (51:12):
The name is Daniel from Miami, Florida.
Speaker 17 (51:15):
I really don't call.
Speaker 6 (51:17):
For the amount of time, I say three or six months,
but as far as friends and family members off limits.
Speaker 26 (51:24):
Yes, Lena the Stacey. I call it from Dayton, Texas,
and I don't think that there's a necessarily a certain
limit or amount of time that someone should wait to
get married and also to I just want to pay.
I don't think anyone is off limits. I know when
I was married for all of twenty two years, after
about twelve years of marriage, by excepting that we actually
(51:44):
had a real, very real conversation that gave each other
h three people that we chose in our circle that
we would be okay with them get three married, us
to marrying and them being able to raise our children.
But I think that's a very real com happen.
Speaker 2 (52:02):
So so your your your wife a A k A
and and uh and they want to do something something
for you, uh, you know, she passed away and they
want to do something nice and member of your wife
at the uh at the the boulet.
Speaker 3 (52:15):
Yeah, and they they're.
Speaker 2 (52:18):
Feeling bad for you and you walking there, you got
your plaque and stuff, and so you can't date none
of that. You can't date nobody thousands and thousands and
thousands and thousands and thousands and now y'all.
Speaker 3 (52:32):
Now they say family member. But what if let's just
spread it out a little bit.
Speaker 2 (52:35):
What if your wife was a deltat and she got
maybe not none of her land sisters, But what about
somebody in that chapter yeah.
Speaker 3 (52:44):
Or in that district? What what's what's what's the rules?
Because because you can't do a land sister, but but
can you do anything off in that chapter? Yeah?
Speaker 8 (52:53):
Because she don't know all the deals?
Speaker 2 (52:54):
Right?
Speaker 3 (52:55):
What about district? What about district?
Speaker 8 (52:57):
Have they been to your house with your husband? Like
it's of course you can't. Somebody who's been in my house?
That means that makes me think that maybe they've been
looking at him the whole time, Like if you this,
oh yeah, you're right, but still it's off limits.
Speaker 3 (53:11):
So you married the glorilla and something happened. You can't
date six of red? What's up?
Speaker 8 (53:16):
Talk to its sex? Red is Gloriala's best friend.
Speaker 14 (53:19):
No, you can't date nobody to have more hits? Oh wow,
you could. Somebody had less yit you get the one hit, the.
Speaker 13 (53:28):
One, the one hit.
Speaker 18 (53:31):
Wonder like if I, like, if I died, my wife
can only date a comedian. It's less successful than me.
But that's well, that ain't too many of them. She
couldn't marry De Ray, I'd be pistols.
Speaker 3 (53:46):
Hey, if you died and you're married.
Speaker 8 (53:49):
Boy, she married de Ray?
Speaker 1 (53:50):
Why be heated?
Speaker 18 (53:51):
Because he's tall and life being ain't got green eyes,
man ain't nowhere in the ball.
Speaker 8 (53:57):
I would be haunting her every night.
Speaker 9 (53:59):
Okay, what is she married Lavell Crawfords. He got more
money than me and he was just in a movie.
Oh no, no, no, there, you gotta marry an open Michael.
Speaker 8 (54:09):
Turned into something totally different.
Speaker 2 (54:11):
Well, y'all tweaking this morning, y'all on here, tweaking on
these books radio.
Speaker 1 (54:16):
So she could keep that sad coming and just go
ahead and give it, Ricky, I'm broke.
Speaker 3 (54:22):
I got tweets coming up, coming up, man, we got
hand little kids. Thriday Morning Show.
Speaker 8 (54:36):
Entertaining.
Speaker 11 (54:38):
It's the on the freaking Smiling Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (54:42):
Yeah, I got to run page right here, Afria's good morning, Good.
Speaker 8 (54:44):
Morning, Ricky. It's Thursday, August seventh. Here's what's going on
in the news. A violent attempted carjacking in d C
has turned into full on political theater after the victim
was rebuilt to be nineteen year old Edwin or actually
Edward Korstein, a Trump loyalist and former dough stafford known
as big Balls. Trump's now basically calling d C. That's
(55:08):
really that's his.
Speaker 1 (55:08):
Online serious call him.
Speaker 8 (55:13):
Well, here's the thing, he's a big deal. Trump now
is basically calling DC dirty and dangerous because of this
kid getting carjacked. And he even though you know violence
in DC is down, he's threatening to send in the
National Guard and even dismantle the city's local government, whether you.
Speaker 13 (55:31):
Call it federalized or what. And that also includes the
graffiti that you see the papers all over the place,
the roads that are in bed shape, the medians that
are falling, down the median in between roads that's falling down.
We're going to beautify the city. We're going to make
it beautiful. And uh, what a shame rate of crime,
the rate of muggings, killings and everything else. We're not
(55:53):
going to let it, and that includes bringing in the
National Guard, maybe very quickly.
Speaker 8 (55:58):
Trump is also pushing have the fifteen year old suspects
try it as adults, but critics say it's all for
show and just wore Trump world favoritism. After all, how
does a nineteen year old called big balls with no
experience land a top job at DOGE. Meanwhile, it's harsh
punishment for some kids while others get fast tracked and protected.
Speaking of a Long Island fire chief is catching heat
(56:20):
after a video showed him cursing out a ten year
old girl during a medical call. The child was visibly upset,
crying and saying she didn't want to go into the
ambulance when the chief, Chief Peter Out snapped, Now, this
moment has gone viral, and it's really hard here. This
(56:41):
is in Long Island, so here's the thing. It's hard
to hear. But he did call this little girl an
effing inward before putting her in the truck. Now he's
been suspended pending an investigation. The girl's mother says the
chief completely failed her daughter, and the internet seems to agree. Last,
but not Lead's a former Cincinnati physician, doctor Rudel Saunders,
(57:04):
has been convicted of practicing medicine without a license. Here's
the thing, y'all. He's performing general exams, including testicular ultrasounds,
in his apartment. He told these men that he was
in training, but the exams have happened in his bedroom,
not a clinic. His license was suspended back in twenty
twenty three, but that didn't stop him. He was cleared
(57:26):
of voyeurism charges, but faces up to a year in
prison for each count of unlicensed practice. Right friend, foll
on these stories and more. Goutriquez Moleyworni Show dot com.
Now here's a look at sports rock Tee. The sports
genius is in the building show am man. I'm high.
Speaker 1 (57:43):
We getting one step close to the college football season.
Speaker 10 (57:45):
The coaches top twenty five rankings have been released. Texas's
number one, Ohio State's number two, Penn State three, Georgia's
number four, Notre Dame is five, Clemson is six, Oregon
is seven, Alabama's eight, LSU is nine, and my Andy
is ten.
Speaker 8 (58:01):
Again, this is the coaches poll, not the a P pole.
Speaker 3 (58:05):
Ain't nobody kicking off nothing yet.
Speaker 10 (58:07):
Exactly, man, But it's kind of it's kind of good
to have it out there because we're getting one step closer,
and I'm excited. I'm excited right now because Cleveland Brown's
rookie quarterback Shador Sanders, who currently is listed as fourth
on the quarterback depth chart, is expected to start the
preseason opener tomorrow against the New England Patriots. Kenny Pickett
and Dinan Gabriel. They're both injured and dealing with some injuries.
(58:31):
The old veteran Joe Flacco, they ain't gonna put him
in a preseason game right now, so he said he's
just gonna be chilling.
Speaker 8 (58:36):
But Marcus Spears aka swag Goo.
Speaker 10 (58:39):
Explains why this is very important for Shador.
Speaker 27 (58:42):
But this is a vital situation that Shador has and
and almost an opportunity for him to move up in
that depth chart just by default based on the performance
in a week one preseason game.
Speaker 10 (58:54):
Absolutely, let me tell you something, man, Shador needs to
play shardor football within Cleveland Brown system.
Speaker 8 (59:01):
If he can't go out there scared, intimidated, trying here
to make mistakes, yeah, he should do.
Speaker 10 (59:07):
If you're listening, my brother, just go out there and
play your game within the Cleveland Brown system and you're
gonna be fine, and you're gonna move from fourth string
possibly up to second maybe first.
Speaker 3 (59:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (59:19):
Yeah, ball is the Panthers. But it don't matter who
the opponent is. Go do what you do exactly.
Speaker 8 (59:26):
I'm gonna be I can't.
Speaker 10 (59:27):
Wait, man, come on your door. Let's go be rooting

Speaker 7 (59:52):
But we bring you music, movies and more so let's
get off into it well, y'all. Tyler Perry has finally
confirmed with fans have been hoping for, and that's a
third Why Did I Get Married?
Speaker 11 (01:00:03):
Movie.
Speaker 1 (01:00:04):
The film is.
Speaker 11 (01:00:04):
Reportedly officially in motion.
Speaker 7 (01:00:06):
Tyler Perry also recently took the Instagram with the photo
of a script title page that read why did I
Get married Again? In the caption, he wrote, I'm just
gonna sit this right here. Cast members wasted no time
hyping the news. Tasha Smith, who played the loud mouth Angela,
reposted the image with a single word boom. Details are
still being kept secret, and there's no word yet on
(01:00:28):
whether the film will be released in theaters or on
streaming services.
Speaker 11 (01:00:33):
All Right, y'all, things are changing over at BEET.
Speaker 7 (01:00:36):
The CEO of Black Entertainment Television Networks, Scott Mills, has
just announced that the network is suspending both the Soul
Trained and BET Hip Hop Award shows indefinitely. He says
that his team is actively thinking about where those award
shows might best live as the media climate continues to evolve.
The BT Hipop Awards first launch back in two thousand
and six. Over the years, the ceremony became one of
(01:00:58):
the few nationally broadcast events where hip hop artists got
their flowers, and the Soul Trade Awards first launched in
nineteen eighty seven, carrying on the legacy of the late
Don Cornelia's celebrating the best R and B artists bt
suspicion of the award shows comes after talks to sell
the network from under the Paramount umbrella stalled last year
and last, but not lesha'all. This past Monday, Beyonce dropped
(01:01:21):
her fourth and final installment of her collaboration with the
Levi brand, with the ninety second visual and many things
that the Queen Bee does her intentional whether we aware,
whether we are aware of it up front or not.
Lots of fans believe there were multiple Easter eggs in
the new ad. Last look at some of the possible
Easter eggs. So the Levi ad is broken up into
(01:01:44):
three parts. When Beyonce dropped her Renaissance project, she revealed
it was the first act of a three part project.
Cowboy Carter was the second part of that project, and
in the first act of the ad she slowly rolled
in on her horse. Now this has fans speculating it
beyond say maybe signaling the end of her Cowboy Carter era.
Also in the third act of the add, it begins
(01:02:06):
with the words the smoke. The fans speculator that the
motorcycle could mark the beginning of a third part of
the project, which may be rock and roll.
Speaker 11 (01:02:16):
These fans are.
Speaker 7 (01:02:16):
Good with these closs man. These fans don't play it, Beyonces.
They're speculating that the title the Smoke could be a
reference to her song Smoke Hour featuring Willie Nelson, which
opens up with lyrics that include the words come on, baby,
It's time to rock but for the genes. Beyonce's new
denim Cowboy collection launches on Levi dot com two day.
Speaker 11 (01:02:40):
So congratulations go out to Beyonce. That woman just does
not stop. All right, y'all were gonna wrap.
Speaker 2 (01:02:46):
Also congratulations to some relatives of Gary with a heart
