Speaker 6 (02:37):
It's Friday. December fifth. Here's what's going on in the news.
President Trump says he's ending a decades long conflict as
he hosted a US brookerd peace deal between the Democratic
Republic of Congo and Rwanda that.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
We've ended in less than one year. It's such an
exciting thing to do.
Speaker 7 (02:54):
This has been really because we're talking about thirty years
of fighting, thirty years, much more than ten million lives.
With all of these agreements, we're forging new economic security
partnerships that protect the interests of America and our friends
and partners, and the core feature of my administration's national
security strategy.
Speaker 6 (03:14):
AH Congo is also expected to finalize a minerals and
infrastructure partnership with the Trump administration. Critics say the deal
gives the US greater access to Eastern Congo's critical minerals
powering everything from electronics to defense tech, while opening new
lanes for American companies once that partnership is sealed. Now,
a lot of people are also skeptical because fighting is
(03:36):
still ongoing and the main rebel group wasn't included. That
raises fears that the government could legitimize resource exploitation without
improving life ordinary congolease. And then there's this Citizens of
the Republic of the Congo are on the US travel
ban list, meaning Washington is happy to take your minerals,
but your people can't come in. A grand jury is
(03:59):
again to to indict New York Attorney General Letitia James
on mortgage fraud allegations. James, who has denied any wrongdoing,
has become a frequent political target of President Trump. And
in Texas, the Supreme Court just greenlit a new congressional
map that's expected to give Republicans a big boost in
New York New Year's actually next year's midterms. A lower
(04:23):
court had blocked it, saying it was probably unconstitutional because
it relied on race, but the justices overruled that, saying
the map looked partisan, not racial. So with this new
map in play, the GOP could pick up five House
seats for in these stories and more, Godriksmiley Morning Show
dot Com.
Speaker 8 (04:42):
Now here's a look at sports.
Speaker 9 (04:44):
Now that's how my Detroit Lyon's supposed to play football.
Speaker 5 (04:47):
Last night beat it down, said Cowboys gonna win. He
called it.
Speaker 9 (04:52):
Now I say, I say, I ain't gonna say I
aint gonna do not it. But that's how we're supposed
to play dog.
Speaker 5 (04:58):
When we win. Now was right for once. Yeah, Detroit,
come home, We're back.
Speaker 9 (05:04):
New York Giants quarterback Jameis Winston just revealed that his
family was burning through his money and he had to
put a stop to it.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
I'm not a big personal for grips, but I do
one thing.
Speaker 10 (05:16):
Just earlier on in my career, it got to a
point to where, uh, enable, the people around me just
been like four hundred thousand months on clothes, trying to
do stuff on eBay, trying to flip stuff. Because when
you see eight figures, you're like, oh man, this ain't
going nowhere. But when you read your monthly statement, yeah,
and you see a number that you're not even like
(05:39):
if you're not touching it. I mean you see that
what I'm saying, and you see that number, you're like,
oh nah, this ain't gonna go four hundred thousand.
Speaker 11 (05:46):
A month, My goodness, oh month.
Speaker 9 (05:50):
He said his family was just sucking him dry.
Speaker 5 (05:54):

Man, if a lot of people using your cards and
different people, you.

Speaker 5 (11:28):
Ring mon of monits on our Frida is good morning.
Speaker 6 (11:30):
Good morning, Ricky. We got some for the single ladies today.
So dating and relationship coach A Warwhite recently had some
advice for women about sending men pictures and this is
what he said.
Speaker 13 (11:42):
Jav said, why do ninety eight percent of men ask
you to send them a pick? It's a powering and
it's a control thing. They are testing you when they
ask you for a pick. They want to see will
she do things for me? And if she does things
for me, that means I can control her and I
can manipulate her, you know, for picks prisoners. So when
a guy asks you for a pick, I want you
(12:04):
to think of him as a prisoner danger zone and
he should stay in solitary confinement without your pick.
Speaker 6 (12:12):
Really, do you really like, I would just think you
just want to look at the pick. Is that when
you guys really think you want to control a woman
when you ask for a picture.
Speaker 3 (12:21):
Absolutely nice. Sometimes you want to look at the phone,
look at a picture. It stimulates the relationship or whatever.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
She said.
Speaker 3 (12:27):
A cute I'm talking about, like not anything like that,
but sitting at her desk at work and doing a
thing or whatever. If you really enter her, you definitely
like a pick. And you share pictures. You know, you
send pictures. Also, Hey, I'm about to go on stage
here going shot. Look at my outfit. You know what
I'm saying.
Speaker 8 (12:43):
It keeps it interesting, So it's not about control.
Speaker 5 (12:46):
You don't think it's about controling at all. Cross my mind.
A random selfie?
Speaker 8 (12:52):
Yeah, yeah, I said. My husband selfies all the time.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
But ones right, you know, I love it. It's it's intimate.
Is it's cute, you know, Uh, it's it's it's loving.
It's sometimes you can send a picture with a message
that don't know when somebody says center pic, that don't
mean they.
Speaker 5 (13:11):
Have to be dirty or nothing like that. It don't
have to be you don't.
Speaker 14 (13:16):
But what I mean when you get a pictures that
they don't have no faith or nothing.
Speaker 8 (13:22):
The kind of patience we're talking about.
Speaker 5 (13:24):
No, I ain't talking about that.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
This is a whole that's not It's a whole nother level.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
Pickles you get.
Speaker 3 (13:42):
Oh man, you call me on guard has a tea
in the color the other day got ray.
Speaker 5 (13:52):
Good morning Ricky, Good morning America.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
Good morning to you.
Speaker 14 (13:55):
It's Friday, a beautiful, beautiful in the neighborhood. And here's
what's happening in the celebrity news. Tamar Brason, Baby, these
girls back in the news. But honey, this time Miss
Braston is winning. Nice Beer reported y'all that Tamar Braxon
isn't letting any drama baby in her personal life stop
her from securing the bag. Now then, R and B
artist y'all has been cast alongside Tay Digs in the
upcoming thrill of y'all step Father Now. It's a collaboration
(14:17):
between footage films and streaming platform too Be Now. Production
is already underwear in Los Angeles, y'all, with Chris Stokes
director and y'all co writing the field.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
With Marcus Houston.
Speaker 5 (14:28):
Now.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
According to the official.
Speaker 14 (14:30):
Log line, after years, y'all eradicating, honey, any family that
falls short of perfecting y'all. Darnell, which is being played
by tay D's believe that his new wife, Angel, which
is played by Tamar and her daughters, y'all, might finally
be the real deal. Now, that is until tension y'all
rise and they uncover his deadly pattern. Now, getting rid
of dimn Honey won't be as easy as he played, y'all. Now,
(14:53):
step Father is expected to premiere y'all sometime in twenty
twenty six, so, which is a good thing. I'm glad
Tamara's working, y'all. Everybody's working her doing what they gotta do, honey,
And you know the beefing is still going up. But
right be honeed this girl said she ain't got time.
She is doing a new movie. So congratulations to miss
Tamar Braxton. I will say about Pus ain't t eight,
So I kind of got upstairs with him. Then other night, honey,
(15:14):
I was watching the show We Link. Have you ever
watched that? And Ricky rid of heard my spirit, hunty,
because he got rid of Vivoica Fox and the daddy
they play on family matters, honey, because he was the
stronger lak and he got rid of them because I mean,
you want game show. Yeah, but they need to tell them. Look,
he could have kept Vivica on a little long, honey.
Speaker 11 (15:32):
People get eliminated on the game show.
Speaker 14 (15:35):
Yeah, but I mean I wanted to see Biblical for
a little while and she walked out.
Speaker 11 (15:39):
It's a game show, people.
Speaker 5 (15:41):
They had people that was of non African descentity he
could have got rid of.
Speaker 12 (15:44):
That's okay, got rid of He's playing the smartest way
for the game, Gary.
Speaker 14 (15:48):
Ricky, what you have done that when you've gotten rid
of one of us, honey, when they had other people
that you know, he had.
Speaker 11 (15:52):
A smarter white person to help him win the game
for money for charity.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
Yes, first, all right, right right?
Speaker 12 (16:03):
Show is not pronouncing, trying to just words.
Speaker 14 (16:08):
But I don't know the whole You don't know the
whole plot to the game. If you get rid of
hundred the dumb ones and you just say, honey, now
the smart was gonna stand and they're gonna get rid
of you because you're smart enough, So why not get
rid of the smart one?
Speaker 2 (16:19):
They keep the dumb one and compete again.
Speaker 12 (16:21):
Can I just say no? One has time to sit
home and watch game shows. The weakest link. But you
who but.
Speaker 5 (16:27):
You get what you are. You got nobody to watch
the games to watch.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
It's educational, y'all will watch.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
I was on I was on the game show and
uh and knew it was coming on and didn't watch, y'all,
so U records game show.
Speaker 14 (16:51):
No, that's why. No more than your baby. That word
of the week except the week if y'all said to
me earlier, no baby, I can rehearse that girl, and
I know I'm.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
Not with y'all on Friday and others. Urby knew, y'all.
Speaker 14 (17:10):
Fifty cent Baby says that he made did it docum
series Sean Koch the recording Huney. So it's clear, y'all
that everyone in hip hop isn't okay with what's going
on now.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
They're saying this now. In a conversation that.
Speaker 14 (17:20):
He did with g Q, they said, fifty opened up
about what drove him y'all to executive produce the docum series,
which focuses y'all on the alleged heaneous actions of Sean
Dide Coombs over the years and the music moguls high
profile sex trafficking trial. Now explaining y'all why the project
mattered to him. Fifty said, Baby, to be honest, honey,
just the culture itself. If someone's not saying something, then
(17:44):
you would assume that everybody in hip hop is okay.
But what's going on because other rappers will say, I
ain't gonna say nothing. I'm gonna mind my business because
of a position that didn't held in culture for so long.
You understand, he said, So that would honey leave me,
he said, without me saying that I will do it.
Speaker 5 (18:04):
There's nobody there now giving y'all this complicated hit.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
Yall they say.
Speaker 14 (18:08):
Fifty was also asked, honey, well that there's a fifty
cent agenda behind the Netflix series. He pushed back on
that idea, responding no, he said, if it was, he said,
I would have focused on the fact that you're the
only man in jail for transporting male sex workers.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
Oh and then.
Speaker 14 (18:26):
I think it's an agenda because you know people saying
it's agenda because you know, fifty baby Mama was did
his girlfriend, so you know, so he might have had
something he wanted to prove or what happen stuff. But
the show, I mean I watch started watching some of
it and I fell asleep on it, so I guess
I have to go back and watch some of the
rest of it. But it's just something, No, honey, world
(18:46):
is changing now when black men started making doctor series
on other black men and doing all these things that
people are doing now, we're in a different world.
Speaker 15 (18:52):
But the substance is there and the evidence is not
really being disputed legally.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
So is it really wrong?
Speaker 14 (19:03):
Well, I mean, I mean it's not so much that
it's not wrong. I mean sometimes you just keep your
dog on self, but I mean he's in jail. They
called me in deed with it indeed and stuff like that.
So because I probably you like they say, honey, wherever
there's a little smoke, den some fire, but please, they say,
when you live in the glasshouse, don't throw stones, honey.
Speaker 5 (19:17):
So I'm sure.
Speaker 14 (19:18):
There's something out there about fifty up what everybody was.
Speaker 3 (19:23):
Everybody was mad at sug Night thinking and now it's
like I can see the shift on the internet. You
know what I'm saying. This whole time, you're thinking sug
Naint was behind I don't know me.
Speaker 5 (19:37):
Be quiet.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
It's a mess, I mean asking you.
Speaker 15 (19:39):
People can look at it and make their own come
to their own conclusions, that would you. Yeah, yeah, people
can look at it and come to their own conclusion.
But we know, we know where you're at.
Speaker 14 (19:50):
I was always told, why why get it from the
horse's butt? We need to get it from his mouth.
We got a rapper right here that it's been around
all this stuff. They need to go ahead and share
some of this stuff with us, you know.
Speaker 12 (20:00):
Today, tell y'all, I am not getting involved in none
of that crap, none of it. And I've been around
since the nineties and I have seen some things and
been in some rooms, but you will never catch me
on that video you know down nowhere steeee yeah yeah, man, Ray,
Charles Lord, I offer you a check.
Speaker 11 (20:24):
It ain't worth the check worth I got a book
coming out. You don't do that.
Speaker 12 (20:28):
You don't mention names, and you don't people want to
tell you their story of what they've done.
Speaker 11 (20:32):
Let them tell you or.
Speaker 14 (20:33):
Baby, he didn't get enough time to get to the story,
and fifty came out and told it to him first,
told him perfect because he was allowed up in jail.
Speaker 8 (20:39):
But not mine. I just don't even know somebody not mine.
Speaker 11 (20:45):
Yeah, But if you record yourself every day, then you're
doing bad stuff. There's evidence of it, so you gotta
be careful. Everything don't need to be recorded.
Speaker 14 (20:56):
Well before I get a coo Littama, say his honey,
if your catling, you're supposed to do, confess in the
boot and confess it.
Speaker 5 (21:01):
The colade to day.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
How they Scarlett smile on the hand. You say, Scarlett
smiling on the lord. You say deep wine red y'all.
Speaker 3 (21:08):
That you can sit up there in the confessional, but
you're confess into a priest. And here on the other end,
watching pawn on.
Speaker 11 (21:13):
His phone, watching little Boy. God, I ain't gonna tell nobody.
Speaker 5 (21:29):
Y'all give it up and carry with THEE. Yeah he's

that the trip, y'all give Todd a moment to clear
his mind, as he seemingly, y'all has a lot to
think about in that nice one, A friend take you
out and sending you on a wonderful trip, and you
go into a turbulent time, you know, with your marriage, y'all,
with any other situation like that. So congratulations to his

I'm more focused on them because you know, they're like
nephews to me. We have a relationship. And I appreciate
(33:11):
all the men in the industry that reached out to
them and tried to show them love and respect man,
because at the end of the day, I don't care
what you have. Man. Everybody want to know what's up
with my mom, what's up with my dad. That's just
something that just comes natural. And then when you get
rejected or mistreated or whatever. You know, it have an
effect on you mentally and emotionally. And I just hope
(33:32):
that they find what they need and they know they
are always welcome to come hang out, hang out with
me and my adult kids. Man, we always have a
good time together. So God bless them, and then God
bless the whole family. You notice I said all that
without attacking him. I'm just more focused on the one

bless them.

people you don't talk about. You don't talk about the Kings,
(39:07):
the Obama's and the Jackson's. That's black Royty And I

Speaker 3 (40:27):
This morning is so it's the first Friday of the month,
so it is confession Friday. Y'all call me right now,
you guess, So if anything you want to get off
your chests before the new year.
Speaker 5 (40:37):
That don't have nothing to do with Jermaine Jackson's hair.
Speaker 3 (40:40):
Today is filling the blank Friday I can take I
can't take this.
Speaker 5 (40:44):
Into twenty six. I gotta fix up that blank.
Speaker 3 (40:47):
So we need to know what are your confessions before
the year end, because we are wrapping up twenty twenty five.
Speaker 5 (40:53):
And uh and don't say nothing about looking when y'all call.
Speaker 3 (40:57):

The first Friday of the morning, I can't even think
straight because y'all so stupid.
Speaker 5 (41:17):
The way y'all act on the radio and the stuff that.
Speaker 3 (41:21):
Y'all wake up to do every morning is absolutely embarrassing
and disheartening to be able to look at all of
y'all and see how Brad, I'm real disappointed in you
because you know better. You had musical training and uh
uh and you know better, Afred, you come from the
professional better and Gary, you came out of Steve Harvest
camp and he would be embarrassed if you knew that.
(41:43):
Y'all the way, y'all sit up here on this radio
and behave it's absolutely disheartening and disappointing. Anyway, it's about
that time, the first Friday of the morning. It's confession Friday.
And don't worry, it's a judgment free zone.
Speaker 11 (41:59):
That's right, Ricky. And this is the last one of
the years.
Speaker 12 (42:02):
So it don't matter how big or small, from stealing
a coworkers food in the fridge to cheating on the.
Speaker 6 (42:08):
Test, right, or even for example, when your partner asks
you if you like the outfit they tried on yesterday
or is there a bad habit that just tries you crazy?
Speaker 3 (42:18):
Yeah, So you don't want to take any of that
into the new year. So it's today's filling the blank Friday.
Is I cannot take this into twenty six. I gotta
fess up that blank. So hit us up eight six
six nine, Ricky, eight six six nine, are I s
k e y?
Speaker 5 (42:35):

Why don't you clean up your house?
Speaker 2 (42:44):
You know?
Speaker 5 (42:45):
Well, you know what and you said that.
Speaker 14 (42:46):
It was one of the things I was I was
hoping in praying that maybe y'all would kind of get
together and kind of help me out.
Speaker 5 (42:51):
You want to let nobody over there?
Speaker 11 (42:53):
Can we come over?
Speaker 5 (42:54):
Well, yeah, I think I gotta come over that anything we.
Speaker 12 (42:58):
Don't want to see. No dirty drostle on the floor,
no thongs, no nothing like that. Make sure you get
all that stuff up before we get this.
Speaker 5 (43:05):
But why you holding on the stuff? All of them
all clothes?
Speaker 2 (43:08):
Man?
Speaker 3 (43:08):
You can get usself to the good Will. Somebody could
be wearing that stuff. And then I said, I got
some stuff that I was gonna let you have. But
mishom Eddy Long said a long time ago, you cannot
receive a blessing with a clothes.
Speaker 5 (43:21):
You cannot receive a blessing with a Why do you
give it to me? My hands open?
Speaker 2 (43:26):
Then?
Speaker 3 (43:27):
But you just stacking stuff? Say you got to bless
somebody else in order to be blessed. The clothes that
I got to give you is up there. You got
clothes from the nineties still in there that you're holding
on to for sentimental purposes. Healthy shirts though Miss mellvils
that you two shirts ain't going to move nothing in
your pause.
Speaker 11 (43:43):
Two little t shirts to hear him way anyway, right, go.
Speaker 3 (43:47):
To hell, anything, Brad, anything you're not taking into twenty
twenty six.
Speaker 11 (43:51):
Yeah, I must say be in here at work with
y'all every single day. I have had enough, Dammit, I've
had enough. Quinine special okay special, k. He's very loud.
Speaker 12 (44:08):
I don't know if he drinks it and it just
sits in about it and then he swallowed with all
that one big t.
Speaker 11 (44:15):
It's so loud I can hear it with my headphones,
a strong throat.
Speaker 5 (44:22):
Loud.

It's the front page on the Ritney Smiling Morning Show.
Speaker 6 (49:32):
From page right here, Afrita's good morning, Good morning Riki.
It's Friday, December fifth. Here's what's going on in the news.
There's a disturbing new development in the killing of Chicago
mother Remika meets black men. Police have now charged a
thirty one year old Quidasia Johnson with first degree murder.
The confrontation happened back in September, just minutes after Meeks
(49:53):
black Men dropped off her six year old son at school.
Both women shared children with the same man, and he
was standing right there as the fight escalated. Meeks Blackman
was the mother of his six year old son. Johnson
has his six month old baby, and prosecutors say she's
about seven weeks pregnant with another child of his. According
to prosecutors, the argument to Jane, yeah, Johnson pulled this
(50:16):
gun and shots Meek Blackman in the face back in September.
They also claim the man at the center of both
families fist bumped Johnson moments after the shooting. Ricky, And
as you said, Johnson is now being held without bill
as the investigation continues.
Speaker 5 (50:32):
I just wonder if they're gonna charge him with anything.
Speaker 2 (50:35):
Well, that's what I'm window.
Speaker 6 (50:36):
He was there, So you know, we'll keep you posted
on what happens with this investigation. In other news, federal
officials now say they finally arrested the man suspected of
planting the pipe bomb outside the DNC and GOP headquarters
on the eve of the January sixth riot. Investigators say
Brian Cole Junior had been in Virginia the entire time,
(50:58):
moving through the same neighbor heads where the devices were
originally traced, basically hiding in plain sight while the case
inched forward. The FBI's Dan Bengino said Trump was determined
to bring Brian Cole Junior to justice.
Speaker 2 (51:13):
This president absolutely hates crime.
Speaker 3 (51:17):
He hates the idea of someone causing a national security
crisis in his city.
Speaker 6 (51:21):
In Washington, DC, critics are quick to point out that
Trump bears responsibility for the January sixth climate that allowed
the bomb to be planted in the first place. Lastly,
former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin is again trying to
overturn his conviction and the death of George Floyd. Chauvin
filed a new petition arguing that his second degree murder
(51:42):
conviction should be vacated because of what he calls false
or misleading expert testimony at trial. Chauven was convicted in
twenty twenty one and is serving a twenty two and
a half year sentence. For info on these stories and more,
Godor Ricke Smiley Morning Show dot Com now here's a
look at sports rockzy.
Speaker 9 (51:59):
This sport's genius is in the building, ladies and gentleman.
Now that's how my Detroit Lions supposed to play.
Speaker 3 (52:06):
Man.
Speaker 5 (52:06):
They beat the Cowboys last night forty four to thirty.
Speaker 9 (52:09):
Listen, sandlat football, running gun, old school, don't think, just play.
Speaker 2 (52:14):
It is what it is man.
Speaker 5 (52:15):
I'm very impressed with my Lions last night.
Speaker 9 (52:18):
LA Clippers told future Hall of Famer CEP three to
go home. So if y'all don't remember, he was kicked
off the team earlier this week, we're allegedly clashing with
the organization. I don't think CP three had issues with
Tylo tohead coach. I think the issues came with some
of the executive staff.
Speaker 5 (52:33):
Stephen A. Smith expressed his thoughts, how the hell.
Speaker 20 (52:36):
Do you do this to Chris Paul? Now, this is
a future Hall of Famer who's come there for the
last year in his career. I don't give a damn
what's going on with the team. That organization right now
is a mess. You're on a road trip for Atlanta
and you're gonna give up that bogus BS statement where
it's not his for.
Speaker 2 (52:55):
Do what you send them home for?
Speaker 20 (52:56):
Because you sent them home because he probably looked you
in the face and told you that the organization is
being ran like trash right now, like he's a cancer.
Speaker 5 (53:03):
To this team.
Speaker 9 (53:05):
Yeah, don't make no sense, but I'm sure the truth
gonna come out real soon. H New York Games quarterback
Jameis Winston just revealed that his family was burning through
his money and he had to put a stock to it.
Speaker 3 (53:15):
Man.
Speaker 2 (53:16):
I'm not a big personal regrips, but I do one thing.
Speaker 10 (53:20):
Just earlier on my career, he got to a point
to where enable the people around me just being like,
four hundred thousand months on clothes, trying to do stuff
on eBay, trying to flip stuff. Because when you see
eight figures, you're like, oh man, this ain't going nowhere.
But when you read your monthly statement, yeah, and you
(53:40):
see a number that you're not even like if you're
not touching it.
Speaker 2 (53:43):
I mean, you see that's what I'm saying. And you
see that number, you're like, oh no, this ain't gonna go.
Speaker 5 (53:49):
Four hundred thousand a month. Man, that's just blowing through money.
But my thing is you gotta keep your eyes on it. Man.
Speaker 3 (53:56):
So he yeah, that's crazy, man, titament is the new
thing now. Yeah, man, I am and tired to spend
your money. And then they probably get mad at you
when you cut it off and say no, no more.
Hear about what you did it did for anybody in
the past. It's all about what you're not doing no more.
Now you're the worst person in the world. Probably, that's insane.
