Come on sunny.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
All right, the morning Show's time for the prayers break now,
that's welcome. Doctor Chris Perskin, the senior pastor of the
Movement Fellowship Church in Birmingham, Alabama, Good morning, Pastor, love
you man.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
What's up Ricky and the Ricky Smiling Morning Show family.
It's time for prayer. Let us pray, O, Lord, our Father,
and our God. We thank you for this day. We
thank you for powerful provisions. We know that everything we
have need of your hand have provided. We're able to
shout today. Great is thy faithfulness, Oh Lord, unto us.

(00:50):
Because you are a God who does provide. You are
the God who does provide. We are thankful that our
needs are already met. I pray for those who are
in need on this morning, knowing today, this afternoon, tonight,
that you are able to meet those needs through the

(01:10):
power that only comes from you. I pray for someone
who needs a moving their finances for whatever the situation is.
Remind them all the silver, all the gold belongs to you.
And for someone who is employment challenged, I ask that
you will give them stability in their work, that you

(01:31):
will help them to meet every need that they have,
and know that God, you are the sustainer of our lives.
That every good and perfect gift comes from up above.
We believe you as our provider today and thank you
right now. It's in your son's name. We pray a man.

(01:52):
All right, Ricky, thank you so much man for this opportunity.

Movement Fellowship Church in Birmingham, Alabama.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
All right on front page right here is how a
free It's good morning.

Speaker 5 (02:29):
Good morning, Ricky. It's Tuesday, December ninth. Here's what's going
on in the news. Winter weather continues to cause major
headaches this morning, with freezing tempts and fresh snows stretching
from the Midwest into the northeast. More than twelve million
people from eastern Kentucky to Northern Carolina are under weather
alerts right now. Schools across parts of Virginia and North

(02:50):
Carolina are closed or delayed as icy roads make travel
risky and up north North Dakota's expecting another round of
snow early today before that system pushes toward the Great Lakes.
Later on big political news, out of Texas, congress Woman
Jasmine Crockett is officially jumping into the US Senate race.
She foiled her paperwork yesterday, then fired up supporters at

(03:12):
a rally in Dallas.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
I will begin on day one fighting to lower costs,
deliver on healthcare, make home ownership and entrepreneurship accessible to all.

Speaker 5 (03:22):
And hold Trump accountable. Crockett heads into the March primary
with just one opponent after Colinaro had dropped out. Her
district was recently redrawn into a Hispanic majority seat, shrinking
her base. She'll challenge Republican Senator johns Corn John Corn,
who is also facing a primary fight.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
Of his own.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
In other news, Paramount has entered the chat dropping a
surprise bid to buy Warner Brothers Discovery, just days after
Netflix looked like it had the deal locked up. Paramount
is now offering thirty dollars a share, topping Netflix's massive
seventy two billion dollar offer, which climbs to nearly eighty
three billion with debt, or just under twenty twenty eight

(04:05):
dollars a year. Warner Brothers Discovery says it will review
the new bid and respond within ten business days. And
it should be noted that Jared Kushner, Trump's son in
law is part of the backing behind Paramount sky Dance's
bid for Warner Brothers Discovery. For inf on these stories
and more, Guderiguez Miley Morning Show dot Com.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
Now here's a look at sports man the.

Speaker 6 (04:29):
Super Bowl champ Philadelphia Eagles day in trouble.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
Thanks so may come on.

Speaker 6 (04:35):
Man. Quarterback Jalen Hurds throws four interceptions last night.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
It's the first time, Rick, they.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Dropped a lot of balls too. Man.

Speaker 6 (04:42):
Man, this is the first time I'm just gonna say
it that I've ever seen Jalen Hurts shook. Even though
he's still calm. We got that calm manner. He don't
get too high, he don't get too low. He kind
of got that even kill. But he looked a little
deer in the headlights last night. Man, he ain't really
been playing like he should. But anyways, this opens up
the door for the Dallas Cowboys to still get some

(05:02):
hope to getting this dog on playoffs because out of
the the NFC East, it's gonna between one of those teams.
So I think this is it man for the Fulfilly
this year.

Speaker 7 (05:10):
Man.

Speaker 6 (05:10):
I don't see them turning around. And the Cowboys can
sneak in the back door if they gotta still finish
and win the rest of their games as well.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
So it's gonna be interesting. It's gonna be interesting.

Speaker 5 (05:19):
Now.

Speaker 6 (05:19):
College football playoffs getting ready to start, and one of
the teams that got snubbed is Notre Dame. Get your opinion, Rick,
They're not nobody's conference.

Speaker 4 (05:31):
They should be.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Under conference though, But I just think that it was
wrong for them to pick uh uh, you.

Speaker 4 (05:36):
Know Alabama over Notre Dame.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
And Alabama have three like they're the only ones in
the playoffs with three losses.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
See there you go.

Speaker 6 (05:41):
See everybody keep talking about it, and then you're talking
about they beat beat Georgia, but they also lost to
a five and seven Florida State. Yeah, and they lost
to Miami and Miami got in. And the reason why
I think Miami got in is because they had to
put a team in from the ACC. They at least
get one team from ACC. So that's why they got in.
And they beat No to day. So yeah, but you're right,

(06:02):
Alabama's the one that should not be in the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Yeah, I and I hate to say it now. I'm
a you know, I'm a big Alabama fan. Man. If
they don't put some offense together, it's gonna be embarrassing
to watch because Oklahoma's gonna beat them again.

Speaker 6 (06:13):
Come on, dog, Hey, let's keep it.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
I'm just talking to EXAs and oh I'm not talking
about how I feel and how I feel a deep inside.
You know, we we played for Alabama, Uncle Bruce, play
for Alabama.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
But I just hate to say it.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
They don't have no offense. Now they're gonna put that
black quarter back in together offense a spark just to
do something new or get the running game going.

Speaker 6 (06:32):
They got a shot. Let's keep talking about it. Good morning, Bratt.
We can go all morning talking about this. Yeah, good morning, Tea.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Congratulations go out to Tianna Taylor and Michael B. Jordan.
I'm gonna tell you why next in the hot spot

his deadly pattern. Stepfather is expected to premiere in twenty
twenty six on tub Last But not Lee y'all. Usher
