Speaker 2 (00:05):
Goat's a good one, man, and that's another one.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Lesbian.

Speaker 4 (00:10):
It's it end in an anyone words ending in an lesbian?
I heard pan. No thief said lesbian.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
All right, no big deal, they said lesbian.

Speaker 5 (00:23):
God, we'll write that down, just the word.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Not a big deal.

Speaker 6 (00:26):
But we'll move on.

Speaker 4 (00:26):
We'll get some other ones.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
What is a lesbian?

Speaker 7 (00:28):
Sir?

Speaker 1 (00:29):
If you like another girl, I.

Speaker 5 (00:31):
Like Olivia, am I lesbian?

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Well, if you like like Olivia, you could be sure.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
You can never be a lesbian.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
O n prostitution, God, hold it, half man, half.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Yes, Garie, want to help you to the tea.

Speaker 9 (01:04):
It's guarantee, and the comelortle other day, you're right.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Good morning, Ricky, Good morning in America. Good morning to you.

Speaker 7 (01:12):
Is Thursday, a beautiful, beautiful day in the neighborhood. And
here's what's having in celebrity news, y'all. Damon Dash is
still talking, which we love Damon Dash. She was a
great guy back in the day. But he's speaking out
y'all in there saying that he is slamming jay Z.

Speaker 5 (01:26):
Y'all.

Speaker 7 (01:26):
He said, jay Z doesn't look out for nobody nobody now,
Damon Dash. He's reflected, y'all on his broken friendship with
jay Z. Ain't claimed that in his former friend and
business associates, does not look out for people, only for himself.
He said, quote, homeboy, it's cold. He's very cold. He said,
he doesn't look out for nobody now. Members Blink is

(01:46):
still so lowyal because honey, he understands that he still
gets a lot of opportunities from him, he said, but
he's just not going to enable him.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
So he said he respect that.

Speaker 7 (01:54):
But he said, you know, for him, he has also
said something like you know, he said, like some slick
mess about him, he said, But I didn't be off
he said, when offended that out now, he continued to
that his perspective is different from mine. He said, No
man's hand is feeding me. I'm not biting up putting
no fingers in my mouth, he said. Pause, he said,
I'm the man hunting whose hand that they are definitely

(02:17):
biting now. The Parry reporter began, you know, they pought
their waist, honey, around two thousand and three, two thousand
and four, and.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
They are a few deeper.

Speaker 7 (02:23):
When jay Z accepted to the death Jam presidency and
Rockefeller was sold, cutting Damon Dash out and triggering accusations
of portrayal and of financial disputes, which I thought was
so sad.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
I mean, it's said.

Speaker 7 (02:36):
When two black men that were just great together, worked
real hard together, put out a lot of music and
stuff together, and then one just went his way and
just left the other one out in the cold with
his family, and we married a rich woman and got
even richer and his friend out there just struggling, honey,
filing for bankrupt saying just going through so much stuff, honey.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
But they're saying, you know.

Speaker 7 (02:54):
He addressed this rumor online that he is broke after
recently all filing for bankrupt to me, I was just
talking about he said, quote, if you have that, you
are controlled.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Whoever gave you that money is telling you what to do. Period.
He said, investment is one thing. That is another.

Speaker 7 (03:10):
He said, I got a fight because, honey, that's in
front of my children.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
I'm fighting for them right now. And then that's another
sad thing.

Speaker 7 (03:17):
I mean, jad know this man got children and what happened,
and you got blue eyed in responsibility to take care
of him. But Rickon, that was his friend. That was
his best friend. Honey, they were good friend. They was
almost allegedly shared the same woman, women and stuff for
what have you. And now this man out in the
coal and you know, it's just like, how.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Could you kick a dog when he's down? The dog
already down and you just kicking him. I just think
that's the sad ya.

Speaker 7 (03:42):
Don't the money he had well, I mean, he probably
trying to invest it in trying to keep up and stuff.
But you know, jay Z just happened to maybe get
more from the people, and then he just left out
in the coal and stuff. And whenever he married rachel
or Roy and I guess that didn't work out. And
now honey, he's all by himself, filing for bankruptcy and
going on and telling his story hoping that somebody could

(04:04):
give hi an opportunity. I guess because right now it's
a sad thing. I mean, Damon seemed like he was
a good guy. And Bratt, you know, Damon Dad, you
go all of them hunt you know hell, Brad.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Said, I ain't got nothing to say, but so we.

Speaker 7 (04:22):
Just got to keep him lifted up in proud, honey,
because I oh know, y'all wouldn't do that to none
of y'all friends. Y'a had a friend that was down, honey,
and you started.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Off with him and whatever. You wouldn't just walk by.

Speaker 8 (04:30):
Never you never know what happened here. You don't have
the full story. You don't know what happened in the relationship,
what happened at all, Like you just know a little
bit of stuff. So everybody be trying to piece the
little bit they know together. The only people that really
know is them.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Well that's why Damon talking, he said, and he's saying that,
you know that.

Speaker 8 (04:47):
Well, that's his that's you know, that's his side. So
JZ has a side, the other person has.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
A side, but he ain't talking.

Speaker 8 (04:56):
Well that's okay, I mean he don't want to talk.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Well, I mean Damon is telling the truth.

Speaker 8 (05:00):
That don't mean that we don't know. You just never
know you know, it's both sides and then it's the truth. Sometimes, well, we.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Just gotta I feel bad. Let's just keep naming lifted
up in proud, y'all.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Don't feel bad.

Speaker 8 (05:10):
Hopefully both men will figure things out and everything and
be okay.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
At least Beyonce could throw them a bone on.

Speaker 8 (05:15):
She don't need to get none from his jay Z's wife.

Speaker 7 (05:18):
No, come on, well, moving moving on. You know the
celebrity news child. While we're praying for Jasus, continue to
pray for Mace.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Honey. It's being before yall that Mace was exposed for
legendly wearing a wig. Y'all. They're saying, honey, that the
fans caught the rapping hand he's slipping on camera.

Speaker 7 (05:35):
They got worried y out at a wild new room
circulating that the Harlem rapper legend Mace. Now they say,
Mason his longtime friend camera on. You know, they've been
doing a major industry y'all. Later, you know, with their
his sports and culture show It is what it is,
which has turned you know, the former bad boy rapping
to one of the most entertaining media voice in hip hop.
But they say, but while the two were known for clowning.

(05:58):
Other celebrities say, it looks like the internet the side
of y'all the clown maid's honey right back and at
the same time, y'all. Now they're saying it was about
Mason's Caroline. Y'all there, they're saying, Honey, it all started, y'all.
On the Instagram, sloped Honey posted a close up video
clip Honey from a recent podcast episode, zooming in on
what appears to be a slight lift at Macy's hairline.

(06:19):
Now they're saying, y'all that the user claim that the
rappers glue on unit.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
They started to come loose on camera, they said.

Speaker 7 (06:30):
In the view, they say, you can clear to see
Mason justed his head while laughing, and that's when the
wigney appears to pop up even so slightly above his scalp.
Now they say, with their minutes to clip with viral
with fast roasting the hollow rapper across TikTok, they said, well,
he's out here talking crazy about everybody can't hunting that lace,

(06:51):
that lace phrase that last they say, he can't keep
that lace front dollar. So they said the glue dried
up faster than camera's patient.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
No Wow, wow, oh wow, I just.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Girl.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
God.

Speaker 7 (07:13):
But anyway, they said the viral clup will slow down palls,
and honey, I say to by on nine the tables
who swear they see the glue lift, honey, just the
edge lilift, they say. And even claimed y'all that there's
a bit of white residue from the glue, y'all visible
along Macy's temples, y'all. And and and it's just said,
what's wrong with a man wearing a lace?

Speaker 1 (07:31):
From me?

Speaker 7 (07:32):
Lace fronts too? I mean women on television and film
of course. Yeah, so you think on the regular, why
did just go ball?

Speaker 1 (07:41):
There's nothing.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Right.

Speaker 7 (07:45):
Some people just don't want to lose their hair right now, honey,
So I mean I want to, but you ain't gonna.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Yeah, but in might quick for.

Speaker 7 (07:51):
Free story, y'all leave Mega and Marco alone. People said
she was caught laughing, y'all when a model tripped on
the runway.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Who begging mak the princess.

Speaker 6 (08:03):
Real?

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Okay?

Speaker 7 (08:05):
Yeah, they said, maybe this girl had bust out laughing
when this model was walking down the right way. Oh gosh, yeah,
she had the right to laugh. Hell, sometimes some time
you can't help it, man, that's when yes, especially when
you send somewhere on the front and you're not supposed
to be laughing, that's when it's funny.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
Oh lord.

Speaker 7 (08:28):
Yeah, And I'm just disappointed that this whole stuffer Steph
Curry and his wife going on.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
But you don't talk about that. But since you ain't
gonna talk about it that I talked about it, I'll

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Preserve you welcome. We got me all right, don't reckon
about the morning. So hey, it's about that time, Timtown's
they got three things you need to know. What ups?

Speaker 3 (10:53):
Yup?

Speaker 2 (10:54):
Hey?

Speaker 3 (10:54):
What up? Break?

Speaker 1 (10:55):
What up?

Speaker 5 (10:55):
Everybody? Go you with you this morning?

Speaker 9 (10:57):
Have it to han Listen, man, I don't know about you,
but I mean rick you and I talk about voting
on a regular basis, But more than that, we talk
about governing and who's in office that we think is
doing an amazing job. And in this moment in history,
I think I'm reminded of MLK saying the ultimate measure

(11:17):
of a man is not where he stands in moments
of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times
of challenging controversy.

Speaker 5 (11:24):
And that for me right now is incredibly.

Speaker 9 (11:29):
Just demonstrated by the mayor of Chicago, Mayor Brandon Johnson,
I think, is doing everything he can to stand and
protect his city.

Speaker 5 (11:43):
With the constitution, which is what he's elected to do.
And so I don't know if.

Speaker 9 (11:47):
You've heard, but Trump literally called for him and the
governor of Illinois to be jailed because of what he
says they are doing to not protect ice officials. And so,
as most of you know wol have been following, the
President has attempted to use the National Guard. The governor
of Illinois was like, hell, no, you're not using my

(12:09):
national guard against my people when there's no state of emergency.
And so of course the governor of Texas says, please, please,
mister President, use mine. And so the National Guard from
Texas is being deployed to Illinois, and I mean there
is a real standoff here, and it is not just

(12:30):
play standoff, but real. We already saw last week where
a judge prevented Trump from utilizing the Oregon National Guard
against the governor and then the California National Guard in
Portland against the governor, and a Republican appointed judge stopped
that from happening. So it's gonna be interesting to see

(12:51):
what happens in Illinois when that just happened. Obviously, this
is set up to go to the Supreme Court, which
is not always a great thing to happen, but I
am excited about what I'm seeing Governor Johnson do. He
was very deliberate in using his executive authority to say

(13:11):
that city property is is anti ice zones, so that
technically the federal ice enforcement cannot be in city owned
property areas without it being against the law. Now, of course,
we know that once against the law doesn't always doesn't
always matter in this administration.

Speaker 5 (13:32):
But but to see leadership doing what they can.

Speaker 9 (13:36):
You know, the Texas National Guard, you all, has literally
no policing or arresting power, and so this is illegal
and and unconstitutional, and so I'm I'm I'm curious, what
do you all think You're gonna see a ruling from
a judge on this the same way we did in
California and Oregon.

Speaker 5 (13:56):
I think I think we'll see a ruler.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
I just don't don't know.

Speaker 9 (14:01):
How they respond when those rulings are ignored or just
kind of overrun or.

Speaker 5 (14:08):
But that's that's what that's what he's meaning, or overrun
it in California or or Oregon.

Speaker 9 (14:14):
I mean, the the ruling came down and as a result,
we haven't seen National Guard troops from Oregon or California
used in Portland. So I mean that, despite despite him
doing the things he wants to do, there still seems
to be a line that he has yet to cross,

(14:34):
and and that line is illegally taking National Guard troops
and using them.

Speaker 5 (14:42):
He has yet to cross that line. Now he's talking
about that.

Speaker 9 (14:45):
They're talking about potentially having an insurrection act against the
governor and mayor, and if we do that, then all
bets are off. K to your point that that will
be something that is unprecedented in the history of the country,
as as so many things seem to be, but he
has not yet crossed that line. So I mean this
is this is a real this is gonna be a
real case law piece. It's gonna be serious about what

(15:08):
the courts do, and it really is going to to
to see if this thrust us further into the place
that I think a lot of people are afraid of
and threatening that we're gonna go, y'all hit me at Jeff,
nation on, I g let me know what you're thinking,
let me know what you think of the job that
brother Mayor Johnson is doing in Chicago. And uh, We're
gonna keep talking about this, y'all. Y'all have a fantastic Thursday.

(15:28):
I'll catch y'all on the other side next week.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
Hey, Jeff, we appreciate everything, man, Jeff. Justin ladies and gentlemen. Hey,
happy Thursday, Tony, have.

Speaker 10 (15:38):
It habit, Thirdy, I'm trying to get you right now.
I'm doing right now. I'm tiring them out of borough
right now. I'll keep running back and forth from it down,
cheasing back to us to the ball room. Us stare
at my gwamore ball room. Hold on, I'm trying to
get my gamo, my Beth shut. She gotta take my mama.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
This is not our responsibility, My resposed to be there.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
I keep telling you shot on the mobile, tell him
I gotta go to work. I try to tell him
I gotta go to work. Man, I'm so frank crating
right now. I really wanted to go to work right now.
But then the hot water don't work on Stale.

Speaker 5 (16:15):
The high water per servers.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
I don't know what happened, but the high water don't work.
Only the hot water on down in the kitchen work.
So my grandmama got to take a ball every money.

Speaker 5 (16:26):

She don't like to take no shut but.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
She can't stand out a long cause she got bad
needs to see fat.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
But tell them my great grandma said.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
Look, so what I'm doing a run. I run the
water in the little in the cork. I got one
of the big coup of quitture on running water.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
In it in the kitchen, and then I go and
pour it in the ball to abo Sale. And so
I'm just gidding, I've been doing huh bucket man, I
ain't got no money.

Speaker 5 (16:59):
I got it in they gave me a good cat.

Speaker 9 (17:02):
God.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
So I'm putting the water for downstairs. I run it
upstairs and I poured in a bill tour but not
I feelure if I do this for about another maybe
about another hour, would have been no water for her
to get a bell.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
Then my great grandmoma. Though, by the time you get it,
get it.

Speaker 7 (17:22):
I run.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
I'm running real fast.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
I'm running downstairs and I run back us there and
then I boy it in there. But right now it's
only it's only like her ankles up.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
Yeah, I sid the toy.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
She's sitting right Put on the phone, man, hold on,
I want to talk to my great grandma.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
