Speaker 1 (00:03):
Oh yeah, Hey, so we started from the bottom that were.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Here, Oh yeah, right here.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
You ever been a bride?

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Why hold it he half man, half woman?

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Yes, garye, you want to help you to the team.
It's Garytee. Gary has the tea and the cologne on
the day. Gary, Good morning, Good.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Morning, Riga, Good morning America, Good morning you. Thursday, a beautiful,
beautiful day in the neighborhood. And here's happening in celebrity news, y'all.
Everybody's raving about the hottest couple in Hollywood.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
Riccon.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
I would have never put these two together, but it's
being reported.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Y'all that Kim Kardashing y'all and Drake are a halfy
couple of y'all. Now they're saying, y'all that Kim finally
found yourself a new man. Hunts reporting y'all that they
confirmed that Kim and Drake secretly, y'all, spent two weeks
together in Italy.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Honey this summer.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Shacked up y'all in a beautiful, luxurious mansion, Honey under
breath taking shows of Lake Como. Now they were saying
both Kim and Drake Honey posted photos from the same
lavish property during their say, showing off the views of
the Veila of the core and those Instagram perfect Lake
Como sunsets, honey, which they said they didn't tail fans, y'all.

(01:43):
But they were there together, honey, they said, living there.
But I don't believe it, rickause you know why Kim
Kardashian doesn't date, well, she does, but she don't used
to stay with.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Light skinned African American men.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
She usually like the darker ones, and Drake is a
little lighter skinned than the average one day dated lately
because you know, honey, what's his name, what they last name,
Kanye West was of a darker hue than Drake, so
we don't think they could be together. But nevertheless, they're
saying that the two rented the entire man to complete
with a private chef, a lake's side pool, twenty four

(02:16):
step of security, and they said they wanted to make sure, honey,
that they spend time together, and nobody got them, caught them.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
You know, everything was staying the raps.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Now, they were saying, y'all, this is not the first
time they came in Drake's name being linked together. The
pair had alleged to y'all, friendship spalked you over the years,
we will split y'all that Drake's past lyrics were aimed
at him, but they were saying.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
While both always.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Brushed off the talks, the Lake Coma escape seem to
confirm their Wade honey, that they have more than friendship
and they have more than friendship things going on, y'all.
So this is beautiful though. I mean, Kim, she deserves love,
I guess. But what baffled me and I need you
men on the show to help me out with this.
Back in the day, when a man dated aef a
woman had more than two suitors, y'all didn't date them suitors.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
She's dated? Yeah, because y'all, y'all, y'all didn't. That was
way back, like forty years old.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Forty years I don't know, Howship, but what's your point
have more than two? Okaya? Back in the yeah, but
back in the damn day, a woman did, especially a
woman of Africa descending and you call day kind now friends,
Gary stock Well, you boyfriends. That's a grown a dope.
It's still not answering my question. That still was something

(03:29):
that would happen when a woman did that, honey, y'all
wasn't that. I'm menswered with that garden too, and y'all
nineteen thirties, I don't care for nineteen twenty nine that
Ricky she helped he was called the setout back in
the day. Thank you, thank you, But don't you don't
put you don't put Kim in that category. Why you
don't put in the category? She just dated differ different
dudes when she wasn't married.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
That what's the big deal about it?

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Well, these women that damn it that did they women
that was that was not married, y'all still call them
setouts and stuff.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
I want to know what's when they change? For the
people that don't know, can you explain with a setout?
I don't shut up, shut out. Whens got a hold too,
you know, so, I mean so so.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
But Kim gets a passed though, So she's not She's
not in that category. Why should I catch She's a
damn woman. They had more than she was a single
woman for a long time that just dated different people
that we knew about.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
But Keisha was a single woman, honey that was single
and had a man. Of guys who judge women like that? Oh, y'all,
I stopped y'all.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
I think you're unfairly painting men as being judgmental of
women that were know.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
Why do got so many down women? Why did gout
so many single women that more women than men? Whatever?

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Moving on, single women at though, Moving on, and I'm
deserving the new y'all.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
This is a tear jerker. Kelly Rowling speaking out. Honey,
now she's speaking out, y'all.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
She said, jay Z helped her reunite with her strange
party after thirty years.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
That's all my life. Now they're saying Ken Rose's.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Relationship with her father has been complicated to the last
to say the leadst y'all.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
They said, she renine hundred with her husband, I mean her.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Husband with her dad, y'all, because jay Zie helped, y'all
after thirty years, y'all.

Speaker 3 (05:11):

She said, but she said once, don't you know, she said,
First she was nervous. She said, she was scared. She
said she had anxiety. She said, she had full on
anxiety attacks. Honey, in the moment, she felt abatage because
you know, it was like eight years old, and what happened?

Speaker 3 (05:43):
She said. She wanted to know, did you love me?

Speaker 5 (05:44):
She said?

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Am I worried?

Speaker 1 (05:45):
She said, And then when she looked at him and
he looked at her, she said, nothing came to her.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Look, she said, not one word.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
She said, she felt the Holy Spirit say to her, listen,
and she said, I listened to him. I was nervous
to trust him, nervous to forgive him, nervous to love him,
nervous about all, she said.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
But and the truth is I already loved him. Yeah,
that's Valdo. That's so touchy. Yeah, that is touching.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Yes, I mean thirty years because you imagine though, I mean,
oh my god, this is a touch then. But I'm
glad jay Z helped, you know, her get back with
her dad and stuff. You her mom passed and what
have you, so, you know, having her daddy back in

doing this morning?

Speaker 3 (09:24):
Man, bless this morning, Happy to have you, good to
be on so.

Speaker 5 (09:29):
Good morning, brother man. Listen.

Speaker 4 (09:32):
There is so much happening this morning. Anybody that's watching
the news is aware of all of it. And I'm
I'm in an interesting place because so much of my
work has been about talking about issues.

Speaker 5 (09:50):
Of politics and engaging around issues of.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
Justice and and trying to even mobilize some degree our
folk in a way to bring a life for us
that has better than any.

Speaker 5 (10:04):
Of our ancestors have ever had it.

Speaker 4 (10:06):
And it's interesting in the morning like today, where even
thinking about talking about some of the things that are
happening raise a higher level of fear and angst, whether
it's from a corporate standpoint where we have to protect.

Speaker 5 (10:23):
Our institutions, or even whether it's from a.

Speaker 4 (10:25):
Social standpoint where we're trying to navigate what is the
right way for us to respond to things. And I'm
just in such an interesting place because at every single step,
I just see fear winning. And whether it is violence
that we see that is a response to people's fear,

(10:45):
not even reality, whether it is policy that is driven
by those that want to use fear as a mechanism
of mobilizing people against each other who actually aren't enemy,
and convincing people that they that their their families are different,
that they want different things, that they value different things,

(11:07):
when they actually are just appealing to the need to
have somebody address their issues and allow somebody else to
become the enemy or or in some cases the reason
why they believe they're not getting something.

Speaker 5 (11:21):
When the leaders that are spewing this stuff know that
it's not real.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
Fear is really the greatest weapon that is destroying not
just America, but destroying so many of us, and fear
continues to be a weapon that is used against so
many people, the ignorant and non ignorant life, And so
in these kind of moments, my hope, Rich is that we.

Speaker 5 (11:49):
Some of us as people of faith, some of us
are people.

Speaker 4 (11:52):
Of that just believe in humanity, would would figure out
a way, even as we defend ourselves again those that
would attack our history, that would attack who we are,
that would attack our communities, that would attack us with policy,
that would that would weaponize police against us, that we

(12:12):
figure out how to not use fear in response to that,
and even as we defend ourselves and we are aggressive,
as I talked about before in Resistance, that we are
serious about figuring out ways that we don't use fear
to destroy ourselves and hating on each other and being
unwilling to work with each other and recognizing that as

(12:35):
much as sometimes we don't like each other, we got
to share destiny, and that my life is never going
to be amazing if your life is terrible, right, and Kay,
my life is never going to be prosperous if your life.

Speaker 5 (12:50):
Is rooted in survival.

Speaker 4 (12:51):
And I just want us to get to a place
not where we have some fake Kumbaya moment where we
all sit hands and and and cocoa and roast marshmallows
and act like Kumbaya is possible because there's never been
a time in the history of the world where that's real. However,
there is a possibility for us to realize, man, that

(13:12):
my life is never going to be exceptional if your
life is oppressed. And I want us to get to
a place where we don't let anybody else use spear
against us to divide us against each other. But even
if with our personality conflicts in some of our challenges,
and we recognize that hate on each other is much

(13:33):
a form of white supremacy.

Speaker 5 (13:36):
As those would attempt to use it against us. And
so what am I saying this morning?

Speaker 4 (13:40):
I'm saying this morning with all of the news around
the school shootings that have taken place, with the murder
of Charlie Kirk, with the police and the army and
the National Guard that is being sent to our cities,
with the fact that many people are still not able
to get jobs, with the reality that we feel less

(14:03):
safe than we ever had before.

Speaker 5 (14:05):
My point is that.

Speaker 4 (14:06):
Using fear even as a motivation to fight, versus leveraging
love as a way to defend ourselves and lift ourselves
at the same time.

Speaker 5 (14:16):
Has got to be what we commit ourselves to.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
And we're we're not going to save ourselves by giving
in to fear or weaponizing it. We're only going to
save ourselves by lifting a level of love that is
beyond what anybody in politics even has the capability of
talking about. But what communities have always understood is what's safe.
So y'all hit me a justestination. Let me know what
you think, how you're feeling, how you're navigating this moment

(14:40):
in time, and how you're pushing back there through loving
yourself in those regrounds.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
I love you, Hey, love you too, man, and let
everybody know how you can be

Speaker 5 (14:51):
Reached justination at iglus appreciate it.
