as strong, but I think that there is an importance
for us to understand as we navigate these current political
waters how important the caucus can be. And so I
think you know, younger members like Patman Crockett, since the

to engage. But I'm curious, right, I wanted to know
your thoughts. I mean especial, Okay, I'm sorry. I want
to know your thoughts as you think about kind of
where we are in this moment, like what you would

face of what seems like an impossible and insurmountable odds.
When when somebody is so insane that they don't follow rules,

I am in DC at Congressional Black Caucus Week, and
I think some of you know and some of you don't.
This is the largest Congressional Black Caucus that we have
ever had.

That essentially is all of the members, all of the
African American or black considered members of the House of
Representatives and the US Senate. And for a long time, Rick,
I think that there has been this idea that if
the if Democrats are not, you know, in power, that

what power does the Congressional Black Caucuss have? And I
think that when the when the Congress, when the Congressional
Black Carcuss was created, they really were called the conscious
of the Congress, a body of African American representatives that
would bring up issues that nobody else brought up. And
I think as time has gone on, we've seen strong
(10:27):
Congressional Black Caucus. We've seen those that have not been
as strong, but I think that there is an importance
for us to understand as we navigate these current political
waters how important the caucus can be. And so I
think you know, younger members like Patman Crockett, since the
(10:48):
Iohan and others are showing that there are different ways
to engage. But I'm curious, right, I wanted to know
your thoughts. I mean especial, Okay, I'm sorry. I want
to know your thoughts as you think about kind of
where we are in this moment, like what you would
(11:10):
like to see a Congressional Black Caucus do in the
face of what seems like an impossible and insurmountable odds.
When when somebody is so insane that they don't follow rules,
they don't do it's questionable that they follow the Constitution.
And so when you are accustomed to fighting a certain
(11:33):
way and that way doesn't work, you know, what do
you do?
Speaker 5 (11:40):
I mean, I don't know what they can do. I mean,
they need to stay together and they need to have
a singular, solid, solid message, But I don't know what
they can do. And I don't like the fact that
you know it's always on us to fix these messes.
You know what I mean, they put too much infhensis on.
Well what do y'all how come y'all haven't Okay? Well, look,

we've done everything that we needed to do. And when
I say we, I mean you know, the CBC and
everybody who supports the CBC. I don't know what more
they can do. You know what I'm saying. They've They've
stayed on message, they stay on point. I think we
need to keep that. We need to have more jazz
mccrockett type energy. I would like to see some of
that energy from Hakeen Jeffries.

I would like to see that, you know, support support
the mayoral candidate in New York City for one Hakem.

You know, yeah, I know you get a lot of
money from that's a whole yeah, And that's a whole difference.
That's a whole different thing. But I think your point
is a good one, which is in many cases, the
CBC has been one of the sources for accurate information
about what's going on about it, making sure that our
communities are clear where some of these issues are and
what they're fighting on and so I think you're absolutely

right and and and why we need to support our
elected officials and elect good ones. So you'll listen. I
really just wanted to lift up what's happening here. There's
gonna be not just not just a great deal of discussions,
but I think mobilizing, even behind the scenes around a
basma a large number of issues. So y'all hit me

Collie or golden Golden Retriever type of dog. But then
she just had baby with another dog with a dogmin
pistol can't and the fird baby and the third of
her first Pubby Daddy, he came over he been over
here right now. Yeah, the friend, the friend plubby daddy,

he came over here. He was over here last night.
She had the baby, the money and the new the
new dog. Baby Daddy came over here and they mad,
they going at it.

Shout, so the two baby daddy dogs Lady Lady had.
Lady already had a baby by.

She had puppies already like three months ago in there.
She just just had some old puppis. And he, I
guess he feels some kind of way because she just
had him Pubbig and now she got Pubbigs from a
new dog. And now he doesn't. Now he out there
in the front yard acting crazy and he brought some
other dog with him. I think they hit cousin.
