sponge hole and water if it's full of holes? Why
is it called a building if it's already built. Why
does quicks fan work so slowly? If you're not supposed
to eat at night? Then why is there alike in
(00:35):
the fridge? Why are they called apartments if they're all
stuck together. Why is the time of day with the
slowest traffic called rush out? Why is it called shipping
when it goes by truck, but cargo when it.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
Goes by ship.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
In the us Thursday, a beautiful, beautiful day in the neighborhood.
And here's what's happening in celebrity news, y'all, Ricka, the
prayer wards are being solicited, y'all for R and B
single Mario, y'all. And I'm feeling real bad for Mario.
But he's really sad, honey, he said, y'all. And he
is tired of the accusation, y'all. There he doesn't like
black women, and it's a sad thing, y'all. Mario said,
(01:30):
enough is enough, y'all. Now he's speaking out because you know,
people are saying, you know that he does not like
black women, the R and B single, honey. He recently
spoke out against brewing rumors y'all that he doesn't like
black women, he said. Take it to his Instagram story
to shut the claim down. He wrote, quote, I'm so
tired of the black women slander in the comments about
(01:51):
how I don't like black women and how black women
aren't loved, and he says that if you're making these
comments hashtag, Mario continued, I'm convince that you have a
problem with black women.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Unquote. Isn't that something y'all that this man have to
go out.
Speaker 4 (02:07):
To say you don't like black men because he just
recently married a non black woman. And then you know,
they say it's just like I guess every time they
see him he's with non black women and stuff. So
now he's really speaking out regarding this and stuff that
you know, people a saying that he don't like black women,
but he does like him, he just don't marry them. Yes, yeah, yeah,
I mean that's what it seems like. Yeah, but it's
(02:29):
sad do y'all. But hell, it's a lot of them.
Mothers need to be out there screaming at then Hunty
because I mean, oh what I've been reporting ladies and
the Shannon Sharps and all other people and stuff. You know,
people say they don't like black women because black women
just not getting a chance, and they work real hard,
they get educated, hunting, they do things. They have babies
for these men, and the men don't marry him, then
they go marry somebody else that's of non African American descent.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
So people are getting tired of it.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
So not more people are speaking out regarding this when
they see these men of African descent that decide not
to make women of color.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
So we just got to.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
Keep him lips up in prayer because he's upset about
it and he's tired of people saying it to him
because it may be affecting his career. So and you know,
once black women get tired, honey, they take their dollars
back and put them elsewhere.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
So there's nothing you can do about it. Nothing you
can do about it. Nothing.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
So let's continue to keep all parties that men that
are decided not to marry women of color in our prayer, Sonney,
and hopefully prefer there is.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
Gonna be upright, a special prefident, yes, a special all right,
moving on, and I'm deserving the news, y'all. Mariah Carrey, baby,
Oh I love Mariah Carey. Brad, calm yourself down.

they say, Honey, Mariah Carey is tight lips, honey when
it comes to the men of her past and of
her present.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
Honey. This girl did to sit down with Gail Keene
the other day, and you know, I.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
Mean, she chatted about her life and her soon to
be released here what's the tight hundred here here here
for it all album, honey, and Mariah praised y'all mister
Anderson Pack for his contribution to the project. Not a
two are room to be in a private relationship. While
she didn't confirm or deny, honey, where they said romantically, roma,
Mariah did share that they're in a whole hand holding club.
(04:16):
Isn't that nice? Are y'all familiar with a hand holding club?
That's when you just hold hand and I guess you're talking,
you do Bible versus and you know, stuff like that,
which I think more people should be in a hand
held holding club because, honey, if if like that, it'd
be less.
Speaker 5 (04:33):
Kidd what you never I'm sorry, I thought now, I
thought about this joke that a right to here told me, yes,
they know it's a bad state.
Speaker 6 (04:45):

was brought up regarding how they co parade a twenteen
this is what Miss Mariah said.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
Did you reach out to him?
Speaker 1 (04:56):
Did he reach out to you?
Speaker 3 (04:58):
I reached out to him him. He's brilliant. That's a
good reason. He's really a great artist. Now you know
there are pictures of you all holding hands? Is this
just he just likes to hold my hand.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
He scraps my hand. I don't know what he's doing.
I think holding hands is very nice.
Speaker 7 (05:17):
You and and your two children, And how you navigate
because you're a co parent with Nick Cannon, How you
navigate co parenting when his life is so public.
Speaker 8 (05:27):
I kind of feel like it's best if I don't
talk about him, because he can just be in his
own world, no offense to him.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
Oh, I feel bad for me. She doesn't want to
talk about him, want to talk about nid Huh, that
was very respectful what she said. She don't talk about
it live.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
But he's the father of her twins.
Speaker 8 (05:50):
Yeah, on her album, she'll have to talk about him,
she said. Yeah, she'll answer whatever questions she feel comfortable answering.
Speaker 4 (05:58):
And that's that.
Speaker 9 (05:59):
Oh, well, just got so bad. But she supposed say
Nigga is a loving man. He's the father of my
beautiful twins, and we all love one another. You know,
we live in separate lives. But I love Nick and
my kids love their father.
Speaker 8 (06:13):
Why would she say all of that when they talking
to her about herself and her project and stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
I don't know.
Speaker 8 (06:20):
They say she would prefer to not discuss him. Because
sometimes he be in his own little world. There's nothing
wrong with that. And she said, you know, respectively.
Speaker 1 (06:27):
I just feel bad.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
I think she should at least say something nice and stuff,
something like that. But she said what she said and stuff.
And you know she talks about mister Pats they hold
hands and stuff. So but you know, we congratulations a bond,
that's a bonding. Hold a hand for the kids.
Speaker 8 (06:43):
Yeah, no, no, no, Anderson pac likes to grab her hand,
uh huh not Nick, That first part was about.
Speaker 3 (06:52):
Some people are just handholders.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
Yeah, he likes to just.
Speaker 3 (06:54):
Grab her hand all the time when they walk in
and stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
That passionate and that that's of affection. I guess when
you hold somebody town, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
You have to ask them.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
Yeah, who made the song I Want to Hold your Hands?
Speaker 4 (07:09):
Have no doubt that one the Beatles was, but it
was a black person to Lakeside. I'm doing the lake

It's a long story, honey off the air, y'all give
it up a Gary with the team. Did you see
that post time?
Speaker 8 (08:11):
People are talking here's once trending on the Ricky Smiley
Morning Show.
Speaker 10 (08:17):
We're talking about prenups in marriage. Are they important to
have or not? Or do you think that they are
just for rich people?
Speaker 8 (08:25):
Well, Ricky, former NBA star Carlos Boozer found himself in
the hot seat after having an open and honest conversation
with his girlfriend about marriage and prenups. He wants a
prenup if they decide to get married, but she does not.
And here's how the conversation went down.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
How do you feel about a preenup?
Speaker 7 (08:44):
I mean, one of my biggest fears is, you know,
thinking you have everything and you're good, and.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Then just getting the rug pulled out from underneath you.
So I never want to be in a position where that.
Speaker 11 (08:54):
Happens to me.
Speaker 12 (08:56):
Okay, So in my personal opinion, like you lived your
entire life without me in until a few weeks ago,
like coming into it, you should keep whatever you've built,
and I should keep whatever I built. And once we
start together on a journey of marriage and down that
path and we put everything fifty to fifty.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
Oh well.
Speaker 13 (09:17):
According to stats, roughly fifteen percent of people who have
been married or are currently engaged have signed a prenup.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
Younger generations are leading the charge.
Speaker 13 (09:26):
Over forty percent of millennials and gen z have signed
a prenup, compared to just fifteen percent of the overall population. Now,
prenups were before we used to view them negatively, but
they increasingly are seen as a practical tool for financial
planning and marital stability.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
So does the Morning.
Speaker 10 (09:43):
We want to know what are your thoughts on prenups
and are they necessary in marriages?
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Today? Hit us up at eight sixty six. Now, VICKI,
what do y'all think rock. That's a best of one man.
It's our freedoms.
Speaker 4 (09:57):
Because if you have, if you have, you coming into
the situation and you are very wealthy and you've built
an empire.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
Of wealth, and then your fiance maybe has not.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
I'm kind of with what Carlos says, like, Okay, now
that we're starting this new thing together, everything from this
point on that we built, that we built together.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
From this point on, it's fifty to fifty. Let's go
like it's all us. But everything that I already had,
I keep. You know what I'm saying. That makes sense.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
But prenups are bad.
Speaker 13 (10:29):
You can put stuff in prenups, like, hey, if if
you find out I got an outside baby tomorrow, then
you get the house, bye bye.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
You can put things in the prenup that says in five.
Speaker 13 (10:39):
Years you get this much, in ten years, you get
this much, the kids will be taken care of whatever.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
Yeah. Yeah, you gotta have some skin in the game
to take some out. Yeap. What are your thoughts when I.
Speaker 8 (10:52):
Got married, if she wanted me to sign one, I
would have. I would have signed anything or whatever because
I loved it just that much. And but we didn't
sign anything, like we share everything, everything, everything, And what.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
Are your thoughts? Gary? My thing is I mean with
a prenum. I don't know if I was signed one
or not, but like I have a friend hunt.
Speaker 4 (11:13):
She got married and honey, the guy moved in with her,
but he wanted her to put him on the title
and she told him no, which is right, Yes, so
you ain't for to get on my damn tighter. And
then we get married and you put I can put
your name on my house tight and moved in with me,
on me and leave me? Did you take half of
my damn house to go somebody? So you ain't gotta
(11:34):
sign no prenum. You just tell him now you ain't
getting this, I ain't putting you on the title.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Whatever. You could just move on in and stuff or whatever.
And that's that.
Speaker 4 (11:41):
But as for that boozer guy, whoever he was, honey,
he told her you met me, you knew when you
met me, I was working at the damn diner, So
you know I did to have as much.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
As you're working on got okay?
Speaker 4 (11:57):
Yes, yes, so he got money. So if he met
her and she ain't had no damn money, But you
still want to be with me and marry me. And
so why I got to sign a prenup?
Speaker 1 (12:04):
You know what I had? I had that much when
we got into the marriage. So hey, okay, well what
do you think he owe? Well he oh if she
married him and they the divorce, she should get half.
Why she sat down on basketball?
Speaker 4 (12:17):
But remember what I just said before you knew I
didn't have no damn money when you married me.
Speaker 10 (12:20):
Okay, so why if you thinking like that, you're gonna
stay where you're at. I was married for twelve years
and I just went on and gave her hands. She
got two hundred fifty dollars. I got the other hand,
went on by my business cuts up. Think, let me
telling we're talking about prenups this morning, and uh aren't
they necessary in marriages today?
Speaker 1 (12:39):
Would you want your spouse to sign one? So we're
talking about it? Eight six sixty nine r I c
k E. Why uh real quick before we go to
the phone, Fridas, what are your thoughts?
Speaker 13 (12:48):
Well, I don't have a prenup my husband and I
because you know, I actually made more than him when
we married, but now he makes more than me, So now.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
You know, if he screws up I'll just take half
worked out better that way.
Speaker 13 (13:03):
But I just think I think they are a smart
move because you can put whatever you want in the peanut.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
If you make gazillion gazillion.
Speaker 13 (13:11):
Dollars and you're making some and you're marrying somebody who doesn't,
of course you want to protect your your financial you know, freedom.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
So yeah, if I was a gazillionaire, i'd sign one.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
All right, let's go to the phones. Good morning.
Speaker 4 (13:23):
My name is and.
Speaker 11 (13:27):
I would want my mother to sign a prenup because
he didn't want me when I had nothing, so he.
Speaker 10 (13:35):
Doesn't have to share it when I have something now,
Jamie call him from Raleigh, And yes, I do believe
in prenups.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
I just think you need to protect yourself. She needs
to protect herself as well. Things change in relationships.
Speaker 9 (13:50):
People get upset and they do.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
Things that you don't think that they would do.
Speaker 4 (13:54):
So yeah, I agree that a prenup property is necessary
in most relationships.
Speaker 10 (14:00):
Know.
Speaker 6 (14:00):
And my name is Mikayla jenneration Tampa, Mitchell from Florida.
It depends if if the person is rich, sure, but
if if I'm broke, I don't even know prenup. The
my wife would be entitled to everything I made with her.
Speaker 7 (14:17):
Good morning. My name is Sniaki and I'm calling from
Little Rock, Arkansas. And you know what I feel like
if a prenup is what one you know, one spouse
is asking for or want to sit down and talk about.
I mean, I don't see anything.
Speaker 6 (14:34):
Wrong with it. Yeah, I think everybody's sneered the prenup,
you know, no matter man or woman, not personal. I
see my Vinaco, But I believe you came in with
was just says me, was just take noses. So think
what you came in with. Everybody to leave what they
asked us, what they worked hard for.
Speaker 7 (14:52):
Yes, yes, my name is Cynthia Gallo on the Waldo, Florida.
I definitely believe in them and I would like him
to sign The reason why is because any kind of
debt that he has before he marries me.
Speaker 6 (15:04):
In the same verse, I think he's responsible.
Speaker 7 (15:07):
For as well as any money that I've made or
he's made before we met, I think it belongs to
that person. But once we're together, I believe that it's joint.
Speaker 11 (15:15):
My name is Adela. I'm from Kansas City, and yeah,
I would.
Speaker 5 (15:21):
Want my about to sign up.
Speaker 11 (15:23):
Free up they are necessary if you are going to
earn a million dollars in your lifetime, with most of
us will even if you're only earning fifty thousand dollars
to day over a period of twenty years, that's quite
a bit of some And sometimes these men come into
relationships for what they can gather.
Speaker 6 (15:42):
I remember my it asking.
Speaker 11 (15:44):
Me to get alan against my house, and I said,
I might love you, but I don't love you that much.
Speaker 10 (15:52):
I got a letter derrick is smouty morningshaw listening every
single morning, and I had to give my ex wife
half of my money because after she cheated with our
pastor and she went and bought every single color.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
Of Kitty Hills. So, uh, if y'all weren't able to
get through.
Speaker 10 (16:08):
In the conversation, y'all hit us up on Instagram at
Ricky Smile at morning show dot com.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
That's at Ricky Smile Morney Show. But you know quickly,
But everybody talk about pre up, but there is a
thing called posting up too.
Speaker 4 (16:19):
You know. A post on your agreement is similar to
a prenuptual agreement, except that it is drafted after a
couple is married and then the unfortunate event that your
marriage is. Having a secure posting up to your agreement
in place can protect your interest and defend your future.
So they have post enough too, so once you get
married you could get a post up if you didn't
get the prenup.
Speaker 10 (16:40):
And you see her walker with her new man and
she got on some light blue kitty hills. You know
you've been working all We gonna get into that. Wow,
we're gonna get more into that.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
Hit us up at Ricky Smile Morning show dot com
