Speaker 6 (06:21):
Last week she brought me a pack of soul.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
That last week Gary ran out of saul.

Speaker 7 (06:30):
He lived right across the street from Public, but.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
He took him bath and some shampoo.

Speaker 5 (06:34):
And it had the whole country upset.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
Public and Walgreens right across the street and you don't
have nothing in the basement.

Speaker 7 (06:42):
So they took a whole shower and some shampoo.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
It was.

Speaker 7 (06:47):
It was a rough day.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
And what shampoo that was? That was swall, honey, this
one you get by yeo, hey, honey, your skin might
have broke out. It did well. But I just want
to thank privates with that swap.

Speaker 6 (06:59):
You walk the whole body, baby, I didn't you. I
didn't use dishwashing equal like I did when I was young,
and it's stung. But anyway, shampoo, Brad, I used that
dishwashing nigger body that I didn't know no better at
the time.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
They burned the hell.

Speaker 6 (07:23):

beautiful yellow dash your colortle for y'all give it up
and Yuri with the t did you see that post?

Speaker 10 (07:43):
Here's what's trending on the Lucky Smiley Morning Show.

Speaker 7 (07:47):
Listen.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
Typically, when we think about compatibility in a relationship, we
think think of things, you know, uh like looks, personality, age, height,
uh and religious beliefs. But how important are political views
in a relationship.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
Yeah, Ricky, because it seems that political views mattered more
than we thought. And in a recent study, this survey
thirteen thousand single women from one hundred and forty four
different countries, it was reported that women on either extreme
of the political spectrum would rather stay single than compromise
on politics.

Speaker 11 (08:20):
Right, Brad. So it was reported that women on the
far left were the pickyest, with forty seven percent saying
they would rather fly solo if their partner's politics don't
align with their own, and only forty one percent of
right leaning women picked politics over partnership, and moderates were
far less likely to make politics a deal breaker, only

(08:41):
twenty two percent of them say it was a priority.
So a lot of people believe that political affiliation reveals
a lot about a person's character, their identity, and worldview.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
So in today's divide a political climate, the question becomes
how important is it for your partner to share your
same political views? And would you stay single rather thue
date somebody with completely different opinions?

Speaker 7 (09:03):
Or could love conquer politics?

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Gary?

Speaker 7 (09:08):
What are your thoughts on that?

Speaker 9 (09:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (09:12):
I think love can call conquer politics and stuff. I
mean because just because you know you this way, and
I'm dad with they that way. I mean, we still
could love each other. I mean it's almost like a relationship.
And like saying just what I know right off the back,
I had church members, one of them to attend church
with me, and their aspoused you to go to another church,
but they still loved each other and they they just

(09:33):
went to different churches and whatever.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
And it's just like you know, interracial marriages and stuff.

Speaker 6 (09:37):
I mean, you could have a black woman with a
white man and even though he might call other people
the N word, but he still love her.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
And wait a minute, you took that way.

Speaker 6 (09:46):
I was just trying to make a comparison that you
could still you know, love each other. Regards to your affiliation.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
Affiliation, what.

Speaker 7 (09:58):
Are your thoughts?

Speaker 11 (09:59):
Well, you know, when I met my husband, he was
very conservative and I'm very liberal. But we didn't have kids,
and so now I think we're both kind of in
the middle. I understood his was more financially. It was
for finances. It's really why his family was political. I mean,
was a conservative and he was conservative, but now that
he sees a different side, he's more in the middle.

Speaker 7 (10:20):
So right, yeah, right, what about your special.

Speaker 10 (10:25):
Yeah, in today's political climate. Twenty years ago, I would
have had a different opinion.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
But in today's.

Speaker 10 (10:31):
Political climate, being on that other side of where I'm
at says a lot about who you are as a person,
where your morality is, where your character is, where your
integrity is.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
And nah, I couldn't. I can't.

Speaker 10 (10:44):
I'm way far off the charts with I can't deal
with you if you support certain beliefs.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
Yeah, on any level, on any.

Speaker 7 (10:52):
Especially if the beliefs are extreme and hateful. You know
what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Your wife voted for Bush, That's one thing, But when
your wife is supporting Trump is totally different.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Because it's beyond politics.

Speaker 7 (11:07):
Yeah, Bratt, what are your thoughts?

Speaker 2 (11:09):
I know, not with today's society.

Speaker 7 (11:12):
What Brad? What if you what if you went home
and usually got the Trumps out there.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
In the yard. She's wearing a mega hat. Oh man,
that's a rough one. I say, I break it down.
Not you got on a maga hat.

Speaker 10 (11:26):
The neglige that I think, Brad, going in you don't
have to have some conversation.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
She ain't.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
She ain't gonna do that though, so I don't got
to worry about it.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
She would never do that.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
Right, Brad, What if you just uh, you just started
making money off of mega bunnets?

Speaker 5 (11:42):
You still I'm still gonna love my wife.

Speaker 4 (11:47):
I'm gonna still love it, but I can't support that.
I can't support that. Really, I don't understand the other bonus,
but I wouldn't wear out one what I'm saying. I
still support the company and wear the other boness, but
I wouldn't wet out on you gonna you're.

Speaker 3 (12:00):
Gonna pick your baby off from day can he got
on make America great again once?

Speaker 4 (12:04):
She definitely would never do that, do that, take your
face off that Trump?

Speaker 2 (12:12):
We team together. So what y'all saying is just make believe.

Speaker 6 (12:15):
Well, my brother wife is a republic under hell and
he's a Democrat, but he just don't feel no tense.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Yeah, she's a Trump be honey.

Speaker 6 (12:22):
When that guy that was shot, the one, the Charlie guy,
my brother says, she literally fell out crying and told
him that he was insensitive.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
So I'm like just paying.

Speaker 7 (12:33):
But then she fall out and cry when they killed
Trayvon Martin.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
Nah, probably not.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
Yeah, she didn't fall out the crowd. When what happened
to George blowing this? You know that's not that not
be the part that be killing me. They fall out
and cried. They fell out and cry over that or whatever.
But they had no sensitivity. But they come on the
other side when they came to Trayvon Martin. You know
what I'm saying that that that's that kind of stuff
really really throws throws me off. I want to know

(12:59):
what y'all think. Y'all getting me eight six six n
RICKA eight six six nine are I c k e
wh Let's go to the phones.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Good morning.

Speaker 12 (13:07):
I'm Antonio from Detroit and I date someone with completely
opposite political views. And it don't have to It's not
a relationship ender or nothing like that. We just avoid
those issues. When she's talking about that, I just kind
of let it go and keep my opinions to myself
and just you know, we don't we don't miss those lines.

(13:29):
I learned just not to have that conversation with her.
This is Brandon from Birmingham, and no, I would religion.

Speaker 9 (13:35):
Break up because I cannot date the Trump support.

Speaker 13 (13:38):
This is Tianya in Indianapolis.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
And yes, you can date someone with different political views.

Speaker 13 (13:45):
I'm doing it now and has been happy for over
a years.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
Yeah, yeah, some of y'all with some of y'all, y'all
be some of y'all be wanting to make love of
your woman.

Speaker 7 (13:55):
Why she y'all a clue cuss clan had on.

Speaker 9 (13:59):
Hey, y'all already richmun.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
In the morning.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
So amen, how and everybody having a blessed warning. Man,
we are sitting here like we in here having to
having a real conversation.

Speaker 7 (14:09):
This is some risk. Uff.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
I got a friend whose wife is a Trump supporter,
and I don't know how you do it.

Speaker 7 (14:17):
Kind We're talking about politics and relationship.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
With the political climate more divided than ever in recent years,
how important? How important is it for your partner to
share your political views? But you say single revenunate somebody
with completely different opinions or could love conquer politics? So
hit us up at eight sixty six, now, regul, let's
go to the phones.

Speaker 7 (14:38):
Good morning.

Speaker 14 (14:39):
My name is Shackie.

Speaker 12 (14:40):
I'm from Dallas.

Speaker 5 (14:41):
I'm with my husband, been with him over twenty years.

Speaker 7 (14:44):
He's a Democrat.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
I'm enoughing.

Speaker 13 (14:47):
I don't like to discuss politics.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
It's fine.

Speaker 9 (14:49):
When he needs somebody to talk to, I let him go, mingle.

Speaker 14 (14:53):
I'm not gonna let that define my relationship.

Speaker 4 (14:55):
I'm a nothing because I feel like I have no control.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
I'm a nothing.

Speaker 9 (15:00):
Yes, you know what, if it was my wife, I'm
not sure if it would definitely be some tension there,
but I don't know if we would stay together. But
I can give you a good example of my sister.
My sister is a is a big Trump fan. And
when I tell you, we love each other. We grew
up in the same household and all, but it has
put a barrier between us. I mean to the point

(15:23):
I can't.

Speaker 7 (15:24):
I just don't.

Speaker 9 (15:25):
Understand their views to be you know, somebody black and
field and feel like you know you like Trump the
way you're liking.

Speaker 7 (15:31):
My name is Maline and I'm parting from the Florida Hill.
Florida is very very important. I put a prominent friend.

Speaker 13 (15:39):
Out of my dinner and Thanksgiving because of his political
u so it is very very important to me.

Speaker 7 (15:48):
No, it ends our fun.

Speaker 14 (15:50):
My name is Ashan. I'm from Houston, and I agree
with Ricky. If you voted for like Bush or someone
like you know, like that, and that's different. But if
you're a t supporter, no, and then I think some
people actually feel like they can do it now because
they're not really into what's going on in the policy.
But if you really follow politicians, there's no way that

(16:12):
you could ask that you could date some money with
a total opposite view, and love will not conquer all
in that situation.

Speaker 11 (16:18):
Boy, some DFW and know I would not date him.

Speaker 4 (16:21):
I could not.

Speaker 7 (16:23):
How could you love God when you hate your brother?
And Trump has shown so much hate, there is no way.

Speaker 13 (16:29):
Yes, I wouldn't. I couldn't trust the one. You know,
you're talking about somebody that's supporting a guy that took
his own money to put an ad in the paper
to prosecute the Center Park five. You know what I mean?
You remember what a gold post was before this guy
got a off. Oh he don't got military background, he'll
have political background. This guy got no kind of background

(16:50):
on the background. He got to learn how to be
spo So I cannot lay with someone at night like
that that supports someone like that.

Speaker 7 (16:57):
Man, I am not And I understand.

Speaker 3 (17:03):
Yeah, I understand how you feel because I'm just a nobody,
just trying to tell everybody. Somebody who can say anybody, anybody, Yes,
