Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, from page right here, Rita's good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Good morning, Ricky. It's Tuesday, December ninth. Here's what's going
on in the news. President Trump is rolling out a
twelve billion dollar aid package for farmers, insisting it's not
tied to the trade fallout that's cost them billions, including
soybean losses after China shifted its imports to South America.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
This relief will provide much needed certainty to farmers as
they get this year's harvest to market and look ahead
to next year's crops, and they'll help them continue their
efforts to lower food prices for American families.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Critics say Trump is trying to regain support in rural states,
not fix the long term problems farmers face. Opponents say
repeated bailouts can disrupt the market and leave farmers more
dependent on government aid. Meanwhile, Trump heads to Pennsylvania today
to push his economic agenda, as poles say Americans are
fed up with soaring prices.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
In other news, a Loganville mann.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Is facing serious charges after police say he opened fire
on a shopper he wrongly believed was stealing at Low's.
Investigator say sixty four year old Stephen Douglas Wagner, a
white man, fired three shots at a young black man
who ran from the store. Alowe's employee later told officers
the shopper had not stolen anything. A witness called nine
one one and followed Wagner inside, snapping a photo that

(01:20):
helped officers arrest him within minutes. Wagner, who reportedly acted
as if nothing was wrong after shooting at this man,
is now charged with fellon in aggravated assault and reckless conduct,
and he's being held without bond.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
Police are still trying to.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Find the young man who fled, and a federal judge's
ordered the mother of White House Press Secretary of Caroline
Levitt's nephew released from ice custody. Yep, you heard that right,
So twist drawing attention to an immigration system.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Levitt just loves to defend.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
The mom was.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Arrested near Boston last month and transferred to Louisiana ice
facility despite sharing custody of an eleven year old child
with Levitt's brother.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
Immigration officials says she over state of tourist visa in
nineteen ninety nine.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Critics say the case highlights how immigration enforcement can feel
very different when it affects families of those in power.
The woman is headed back to Boston, where her legal
status will now be decided for informing these stories and more.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
Sodrikaz Miley Morning Show dot Com. Now here's a look
at sports rock te the sports genius is in the building.
This excellent job. He gets away where it doesn't use
his hands. It's perfectly executed. Hurts keeps, throws, put.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
It up and picked off, intercepted, and the Chargers win
the fall gram Yeah, ladies and gentlemen. Philadelphia Eagles fans
are starting to get a little mad and nervous because
they lose again. Charges beat them last night, Super Bowl
champs and in trouble right by now. Quarterback Jaalen Hurts
through four interceptions. I don't care if some of them

(02:56):
are tip passes and whatever, but at the end of
the day, you know you gotta put them. The ball's
where the defense is not so uh.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Yeah, man, But but you know the receiver got one job. Man.
Ball hits the hands, you gotta catch the ball.

Speaker 5 (03:07):
You gotta catch the ball. If it hits your receiver's hand,
you got to catch the ball.

Speaker 6 (03:10):
But even if even if get whatever, you got that
catch the ball, your professional wide receiver in the NFL.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
You got to catch the ball.

Speaker 5 (03:18):
But I will say this, man, this is the first
time that I see Jalen Hurts shook a little bit
like he's always cool and calm, n depressure.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
But his eyes look like he's seeing the deer in
the headlights. Man. I mean it's he ain't playing.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
He ain't playing like, it's just calm self like he's
he could get his feet is antsy, he's he's playing
nervous and it's first time I seen him play like time.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
He ain't face Trust me on that one.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
I know one thing.

Speaker 5 (03:43):
This kept the door open for the Dallas Cowboys, who
we thought was out of it, but now they back
in this bad but over there in the NFC.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
So we go see what happens uh college football playoffs.

Speaker 5 (03:51):
We already know who's gonna be in, but we also
know who's not.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Know the dang got snubbed.

Speaker 5 (03:56):
They got a tending two record, they independent, they're not
in anybody's con rints. That strength of schedule is not
as strong as it should be. So my advice to
know the dame is schedule a stronger strength of schedule.
And this won't happen till you next time. But I
will say this, Rick, and we talked about it a
little bit earlier. Yeah, Alabama shouldn't be in the playoffs.
Man with three losses.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Man, I'm a Obama fan, and I agree.

Speaker 6 (04:19):
The offense is not clicking, and I don't know if
I think Oklahoma will beat them again. Plus they got
to play in Oklahoma, so I mean, I don't see it. Rock,
It's one of those coins.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Even if they beat Oklahoma that mean they got to
face Indiana.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
Yeah, I mean, but they shouldn't even be there. That's
my point.

Speaker 5 (04:39):
Like if Notre Dame was gonna get anybody spot, it
should have been at Alabama's.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Well not the Dame only lost two games.

Speaker 6 (04:45):
I know they ain't have a strong schedule, but Alabama,
even though they beat Georgia, they're still lost to Florida State,
who was five and seven.

Speaker 5 (04:51):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying, Like Alabama should not be
in the college football playoffs.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
But that's just my quick, quick opinion.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Y'all.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
Let me know what y'all think.

Speaker 5 (04:58):
I social media, Rock t Holla, Bratt got to hotspot
right now.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Having a hot spot, What out Bratt?

Speaker 7 (05:04):
What up Ricky, Good morning everybody.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
I'm your girl.

Speaker 7 (05:07):
Brat tad tad and this is the hot spot. But
we bring you music, movies and more. So let's get
off into it well. Brian McKnight claimed his father, singer
Brian McKnight, refused to tell his a strange son Nico,
that he loved him in his final days as he
battled with cancer. Now McKnight recently sat down with Mark
Lamont Hell and he talked about the heartbreaking conversation with Nico,

(05:27):
who was distraught about his father's lack of affection before
passing in May. And here's what he had to say.

Speaker 8 (05:33):
One of the darkest and coldest and most disheartening memories
of my life is the day my brother calls me,
sobbing with all that he's going through, looking death in
the eye, to tell me I'm right about telling him
not to call my father because I knew what was
going to happen, because I knew where my dad was.

Speaker 4 (05:49):
I told him, man, the dad is gone. Dad's gone.

Speaker 8 (05:52):
All my brother wanted and needed asked for was my
father to tell him that he loves him. And my
father responds to my brothers that I can't arbitrarily say
that I love.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
You Arb Trap. That's insane.

Speaker 6 (06:07):
Yeah, I just I just hope that that the young
man that nephew go out and make some good music
because he got vocals, he has talent. I heard his music,
and I just wish people take all of the energy
that and put it towards the young man in his
music career because he is really really talented and he
can really really sing. And I just hope we get

(06:27):
more focused on his music career and have people go out.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
And support him.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
Yeah, me too, That's.

Speaker 6 (06:32):
Yeah, but that's that's that's that's unfortunate. You know what
I'm saying. I'm not shocked by any of that. That
that does not surprise me. The month the month He'll
said it best, so you know, yeah, yeah, I think
that'll be a dog on good clip to play with.
The money He'll said, if you if you haven't seen
it already.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
Oh I haven't seen it?

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Oh yeah yeah.

Speaker 6 (06:51):
The money He'll laid it all the way out, because
I think Brian and Knight said something towards uh the
month heal and the money He'll responded, and it was.

Speaker 7 (07:01):
