Speaker 1 (00:00):
You know, wine and football aren't that different. Sure they're complex,
but enjoying them should be easy. You don't need to
worry about complex formations and flavor profiles or which wine
pairs with what all that matters is together. Barefoot Wine
and Rams are easy to enjoy, So let's enjoy ourselves.
Barefoot the official wine sponsor of the NFL. What's Up,
(00:28):
Jamie's Welcome back to another episode of Ricky's Ramjam presented
by Barefoot Wine. What a Christmas gift that was on
Sunday fifty one to fourteen. The Rams were dominant in
all three phases. The atmosphere was so much fun. It
was such a great last home game of the season.
I have so much pride in this team and they
left it all out on the field. Shout out to
(00:49):
the official Jammer of the week. This is a new
segment that I'm making up right now going into Week seventeen.
Kobe Durant, Okay, you are the first official Jammer of
the Week. You've been targeted thirteen times in coverage as
a rookie this year, but you lead the Rams with
three interceptions and leads the NFL in interception in interception
(01:12):
return yardage with one hundred and fifty one yards. Congrats Kobe,
the first official Jammer of the Week at the very
end of the season, because that's when I decided to
come up with it. Shout out to you. I hope
everyone had an awesome holiday. I had a great weekend.
Saturday was pretty low key. The game on Sunday was
so much fun. It was cool. Jet got to come
(01:34):
down on the field pregame with me, which was super
fun and cool to show her, which I love doing it.
And I feel like the week in between Christmas and
New Year's always feels like a weird time. But it
was so cool to have a game on Sunday and
then there's another one, you know how like if you're
in a corporate or if you are in a corporate
like nine to five. This week, I've seen a meme
that was like the week in between Christmas and New
(01:56):
Year's like shouldn't exist and everyone's calendar should be blank.
I kind of disagree now that I know that we
have another game this weekend coming up at so far. Yeah,
we are the away team, which which will feel a
little weird, but you know, we did that during the preseason,
so we already know what to expect. It's going to
be great. I am kind of excited that there is
(02:17):
something to look forward to for New Year's Day that's
gonna be great. So I'm not going to do a
fan question this week. I actually got a bunch this week,
even some about you know, what are some free agents
we want to tackle and what is this team going
to look like in the coming years. Jordan Rodrigue actually
post a piece today on The Athletic about sort of
like what kind of move she foresees, I would say,
(02:38):
coming into the twenty twenty three season and what this
team could potentially look like. And it was always, you know,
insightful as always, and I love her work and go
check that out if you haven't, I know. Stu Jackson,
our staff writer on The Rams, also wrote a piece about,
you know, a first look coming up to the Charger.
So there's like a lot of good RAMS content out there.
And yes, it's the week, but if you're not working,
(03:00):
like what else do you have to do? Like, let's
just read and throw ourselves into the Rams, because why not?
It's fun? Okay, So joining me today is Dan Hans's
and I'm going to bring them on in a second,
but once again, I just wanted to thank you guys
for all of your support. It has been such an
incredible first year. And I know the season isn't over,
but it's New Year's Day on Sunday the next time
(03:20):
we play, so you know, I'm feeling reflective and I'm
just so grateful for this past year, for the Rams,
for Barefoot, for you, the Jammies like it has just
been such an amazing time and to be able to
cover this team weekend and week out and have some
of these great fun times down the stretch too, it
is just made my year and my December holiday season
(03:45):
even more, you know, just festive and fun. And I
really do want to thank you all for listening and
being a part of this ride. As you know, Jammie's,
we love football and we love our sponsor, Barefoot Wine.
You know, wine and football aren't that different. Sure they
can be complex, but enjoying them should be easy, and
both are easier to enjoy with friends. So I'm happy
(04:05):
to be pairing my Barefoot Wine with my wonderful friend
and guests today. Dan Hansas Tugboat, the New Old Blue Eyes,
Dan Zew's, Daddy Rich like, what what do you prefer
these days? I don't even know. There's a new one,
a God of Bongo, which I think HiT's pretty hard. Wow, okay,
(04:25):
that's that's amazing. So right before we started recording, you
dropped a bomb on me that you got a puppy.
Was this like a Christmas thing? Or it was? It
was it was a Santa gets all the pop on Christmas,
which is annoying because you know, the parents do a
lot of work ahead of things, and then it's just
credited to someone that's outside the house. Um. So what
(04:48):
we did was we picked up the dog from a
foster parents situation the Wednesday before Christmas and said this
is from mommy and daddy and nice and I know
you're a huge Yankees fan. It was the same day
that the Yankees named Aaron Judge their team captain. So
our new little puppy, nine weeks old, is the captain
(05:11):
formally cap or Cappy for short. Oh my god, I
love that. What kind of dog do you know? We
don't know yet. My wife is doing the DNA thing.
All I can tell you right now. It's little, and
it's brown, and it poops and peas constantly. It's a
I've never had an actual puppy puppy before, and it
is exactly the same as having a baby. It's oh
(05:32):
my god, constant maintenance cost. Yeah, well my Romeo is
ten weeks old now, so I'm so jet and I
are doing the puppy training at home as well too.
And it is a full time job, like it is
very very difficult, but so fun and fulfilling and that's amazing.
Um so Dan like how I guess I was like
(05:56):
writing for people that listen to Ricky's ram jam They're
known as j Emmy, So if Jamie's don't know who
they are, they should know who you are. And if
All Networks Superstar host of Power Rankings, hosting atn is
a full time job? How And I used to produce
that show How's it going without me? Do you feel
like it's falling apart at the seams or you barely? Yeah?
(06:16):
I figured it's yeah. I don't think it was ever
really a very good show. I thought it was okay
to fair at its peak, and then you left us
to join the defending World champions and at that point
it just became about collecting paychecks. And I'm just happy
(06:37):
to say that a whole season has gone by and
the checks continue to clear, but the program itself is
definitely not worth checking out. Around the NFL podcast five
times a week. Five your guys are up to five
times a week. I think about that all the time.
Like I left SOFI on Sunday, and I guess that
was Christmas Day, so it would normally be just say,
any given Sunday and I'm leaving at four o'clock. I'm
(07:00):
just looking at the NFL Media building and being like
their day is just beginning. Yeah, I know, you know
that life ricky more than anyone, and we could certainly
be annoying to work for or with. And it's like,
you know, we could wake up on Monday morning and
do the recap the Sunday Flagship Show, but you gotta
do it that night, so that Sunday is pretty crazy,
(07:21):
and then Monday, my Power Rankings world begins. Uh. You know,
my mom, my parents were just in town for Christmas.
And as I was taking my mom to the airport,
she's like, you know, I worry about you, Danny. You
know you're so stressed. You should take some of that
anxiety and you know, use it on the peloton. I
was like, oh, you're like, wait, all right, Mom, what that?
(07:47):
It's very difficult. I find that the NFL season, Like
I always empathize with the head coaches who start the
season looking one way in August and then and the
season and December in January looking like basically a cartoon
like that guy a pizza parlor version of themselves. And
(08:09):
my mom doesn't understand though that this is a long
grind of a season, and after the season is over,
we'll make some steps to correct some things, but for now,
for now, we're just grinding through a long year. Yeah,
the grind. The grind does not stop. Okay. So I
know you've probably explained this one hundred times on you know,
the Pat McAfee show or Poweranking Themselves. But for those
(08:31):
who don't know, like, when you're creating your power rankings,
it doesn't just go off wins, right, It's I guess
I was trying to like when I was writing this down,
like it's based off of who has the best chance
you think to win the Super Bowl? Or how does
that work? Again? Well, to use one of the drops
that you are fond of playing on our podcast, it's
(08:51):
nebulos to quote Michael Scott, because it's not definitely not
based on record, because it's the power rankings, not the
power standings. But it's also not a straight just like
who's in the best position to win the Super Bowl,
because then it would be like, all right, right now,
the um the Eagles are the one seed in the
A NFC, and the Bills and the AFC, and then
(09:16):
and then that's it. Then we're all set. That's that's
one and two in the power ranks. But it's more
kind of there's a little feel involved with it. And
I think the one thing that is my fourth year
doing it, you can't take it too seriously. I mean,
it's like it's ranking football teams and I'm not doing
I'm not basing it off DVOA. I do look at
things like that, analytics and more than anything else though,
(09:38):
And I based it on you know, reading the Beat
reporters and and and just having a feel of the
game and from talking with the guys in the podcast
every week. But yeah, watching the games on those Sundays
and Mondays is where I get kind of where I
I get informed and and I just make a list
of what feels right, and I think at the end
of the week when I'm I send it in the
(09:58):
final countdown, it feels right to me. Most weeks. Some
weeks it feels ridiculous, and I'm like, I know, I
don't even believe this, but what am I? What can
I do? But that's just kind of part of the fun.
And then when the listeners or the readers come after me,
it's like you have to have thick skin because they're
just going to be pissed that their team's not number one.
And that's the way it works, Ricky is they'll attack me.
(10:21):
I'll post the power rankings, our editors will post it
Tuesday morning, like let's say about nine am Eastern time,
and then Tuesday morning through about Wednesday night, everyone hates
me on my Twitter, and then starting around Thursday morning
through the weekend, my mentions are still filled with people
(10:42):
that are pissed. But then it's just fan base is
arguing and yelling at each other and I'm out of
the fray, but unfortunately tagged on the conversations. It's like
a cycle, and it goes on for three months. Yeah,
that seems crazy. I just I find it interesting because
you know, the rams are mathematically eliminated from playoffs, but
you move them up two spots after the Christmas Day
smacked down like which Rams fans love to see. I
(11:04):
still like checking that out, even though you know the
Rams season isn't ending in a playoff berth, So I
think that's pretty cool. Yeah, it's been obviously a really
tough year for the Rams, and you know, they started
in the top ten. I think I had him number
two actually to start the season, and you know, it's
one of those years where things didn't go the way
they expected. But I think this Baker Mayfield arrival has
(11:27):
been a really nice shot in the arm just in
terms of to get morale up and to get some
of these that incredible comeback win of course in prime time,
and then just to lay the smack down. I think
for Rams fans that have suffered through a tough season,
that was a nice little payoff on a holiday to
watch your team dominate like the old days. And maybe
it will be that way again next year when they
(11:48):
get healthy. Yeah. I haven't listened to your guys latest
recap from from this Christmas game, but just it's funny
because you know Mark Sessler famously who's been on the
show as well, was like a huge Baker Mayfield fan,
and then he you know, kind of did what Baker
Mayfield did. But then all of a sudden that Raiders
come back, and then on Christmas Day, you know, he's
(12:09):
twenty four for twenty eight, you know, two hundred and
thirty yards to touchdowns, all of that, and it's just
like it's so exciting to see Baker come and inject
this juice into this team and seeing all these young
guys step up, Like I think even going back to
your power rankings, having them move up two spots when
in the grand scheme of thing like doesn't really matter,
(12:29):
but now all of a sudden, Ben Scerniic, even who
was lower on the depth chart, is out with a
calf stream for the rest of the year. Like to
see two two step up, and you know, Brandon Powell
gets snaps. It's just like it's actually been a real
you know, you think it's hyperbole when you see these
coaches being like, well, just one game at a time,
one day at a time, but like actually sort of
being in the trudge of it and being there every day,
(12:52):
it like does like it does make you look at
the game and look at the season differently, and like,
of course, do I wish that that, you know, I
was getting a Super Bowl ring? Yeah, of course. But
to be able to experience this has like been such
a learning and like growing positive experience, even with the record.
I think you might hear McVeigh something say something like
(13:14):
that also even maybe next summer, because would it be
great right now Stafford was on the field and Cup
was on the field, and Alan Robinson was on the field,
and you had this feeling that you know, they could
win another Super Bowl. Sure, But what this has turned
into now for McVeigh and his staff as an evaluation
of other guys on the roster who are now getting
(13:34):
opportunities to play against you know, first string defenses and
NFL games, and like you're learning more about the roster
and guys that otherwise would have marginalized roles. So I
think from that perspective, you've got to kind of take
the lemons and make lemonade. And I think especially you know,
seeing them dominate another team despite missing all those guys,
(13:55):
I think has to be very rewarding to both the
team and the coaching staff and will keep them going
through the finish line. I didn't even mention Aaron Donald's
not playing now. This has just been, you know, a
tough season, tough season, but they've they've really in these
last couple of weeks. I think that shows Ricky like
good coaching and McVeigh is one of the best. His
ability to keep these guys playing hard and not having
(14:18):
one of those seasons where everybody quits by December and
it's you know, two and fifteen or something. You're not
going to see that with these rams, And that's a
dedication to coaching, right absolutely. So you love kickers. You
famously coined the Kicker Club where only the coolest, best
kickers get in. And I wouldn't want to argue. And
I don't know if you've already placed him in or
(14:39):
but I would like to sort of pitch to you
that Matt Gay gets a VIP seat or booth there
this season. Like he was a soccer player back in
college and switched. You know, he's on a contract here.
He has made seven fifty yarders or more like, he
has been really clutched this season, and so I would
(14:59):
love to know if you have given him sort of
the the you know, is he on the list? You
want some Gay pop. Yeah, well, I think he deserves love.
He's twenty four for twenty six this year. Yeah, that's great.
Obviously I'm looking. I'm looking at his numbers. So he's
converted over ninety two percent of his kicks seven for
(15:19):
seven inside, twenty nine for ten, thirty thirty nine, ten
for thirteen, forty to forty nine. These are all very
good numbers, especially if I was reading the right stat line.
I'm not. He was actually seven for eight fifty three
for three forty four. I mean, he's had an awesome year,
and every Monday Night Football, the last Monday Night Football
(15:41):
game of the year. I think that's when I do it,
but who cares, I'm making it official. That's when I
do it. I'll send in the middle of a game
my kicker power rankings for the season, and as always
and will continue that way this year, it's Justin Tucker
number one, okay, and then I leave the next three
or four spots empty out of respect for the greatness
(16:02):
of Justin Tucker. Right, So it's one blank blank blank blank,
and then we'll see who's number two. Is Matt Gay
number two on this list? Maybe is he top ten?
I think he certainly has a case to be a
top ten Kicker. I would absolutely welcome him behind the
velvet ropes, Ricky. You know that bottle service, the giant
bottles with the sparklers on top and the ladies and
(16:24):
the sequined outfits running them out. Let's get crazy with
Matt Gay. Absolutely so speak to a guy. Do you
know Gay at all? I love him. He's great. He's great.
So is he the type of guy that, uh, you know,
would would get down in a bottle service situation? You know,
I don't know him like that. We haven't talked Kicker Club,
but I'm sure with an honor of something like the
(16:45):
Kicker Club, like, yeah, of course he's he's going to
be there because, like you said, only the best get
to go behind the velvet ropes. And I really think
he's made a case this year for that, for that
gold card for sure, and because we don't have teetotalers
in the Kicker Club. If you go there having a
good time, yeah, you're coming out like Varsity Blues as
a suns rise on that type of situation. Yeah, he was. Actually,
(17:07):
Matt was on a RAMS reveal and hosted by JB
this week actually, and he talked about which which I
kind of felt like the timing of all this just
sort of seemed like serendipitous, Like I just was planning
on talking kickers with you and him specifically, like he's
on a contract year. All of a sudden, it was
an off day on Monday, but he was at the
facility anyways and sat down with JB and he was
(17:29):
talking about like, instead of resolutions, he likes to pick
three words going into the new year. So I'll give
you my three words, like maybe my three words going
into twenty twenty three, and maybe one for the Rams
and if you want to throw one out, you totally can,
if not totally cool. So for me going into twenty
twenty three, I want health to be a main focus,
(17:49):
and then I want focus to be a focus. I
feel like i haven't been sticking to like a schedule,
and I'm very present but also scattered, if that makes sense,
Like I really want to be focused. And then love,
I want love to be a word into twenty twenty three.
And for the RAMS word, I want like determination. So
(18:09):
I think that they've already sort of shown this determination
and just like you said, like they're just not quitting
and the resiliency, but now that resilient as almost in
the past like they have been. I want them to
be determined to no matter who is on the roster,
no matter what young guys have stepped up and everything.
(18:31):
I want them to be determined going into twenty twenty three.
I think that's good. I like that. I like revenge
about that. I like that one too. Revenge on my enemies,
Revenge on those who took my division, took my conference,
took my Lovardi Trophy. That's the way I would look
at it. You know, the football guys, when you're in
(18:52):
that locker room, you got to have some of those
you got to get you get the testosterone flowing and
you can get those guys whipped into a ladder. Oh,
we want revenge in twenty three. That's that's my angle.
In fact, I'll use that for myself as well. Revenge
on my enemies and I will figure out I'll make
a list. It's very healthy, make a list of the
(19:13):
people who wronged you. So like in the RAMS case,
it's the NFC West in the league at large, in
my case it's you know, I have to think about that. Yeah,
But when I do come up with a list give
a few off the top of my head for you,
but um, we could like mister Deeds it you guys,
So if you're listening now and you maybe have personally
wronged Dan hands us, like, now is the time to
(19:33):
give him a call for twenty twenty three so he
can cross it off with the lipstick on um before.
I like how you called it, mister Deeds, which is
it even close to the Right Atoms movie. It's Billy Madison. Yeah,
that's Billy. I'm only who confuses mister Deeds because because
mister Deeds also has the black has um him as
(19:55):
the black Foot guy. Oh okay, you know, I don't
really I kind of bailed on the Sandler um most
after water Boy, Yeah, which for some reason people think
is funny. But the only Sandler movies that really matter
are and this is going to be an old head talking,
but it is what it is, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore. Yeah,
(20:18):
the Wedding Singer. Yes, give me that trilogy. And then
it got pretty shaky after that. Big Daddy is a classic.
I saw a Big Daddy in the theater. I mean,
but I don't know. I don't know about Big Daddy.
Love it I like, but I like punch drunk love.
But that's a whole different that's a whole category to itself.
The Adam Sandler Prestige Pictures, right, Adam Sandler podcast, Let's
(20:40):
get into it is it is? Yeah, barefoot and Adam
Sandler goes perfect perfectly. I was gonna ask a Sandler
because you know, a long time La guy Sandler is
a Rams fan, but he's actually a Jets fan. Really
he is, you would thinks because he's of course he does.
But um a Patriots fan too, because he's from New
Hampshire where I'm from. So let me. I feel like
to make sure I have this road, Adam. I should
(21:02):
be like there's like a press conference of him being like,
I hate the Jets. I love Arizona Cardinals. That's how
it talks football fan favorite team, Adams. I'm like googling,
like my dad, Yeah the Jets. Yeah. Okay. He's a
regular at the Jets games and blames himself when the
team loses. Wow, and their referenced regularly in his movies. Okay,
(21:26):
that that makes sense. You learn something new every every
day here. So before we get to the Ram jam
and I let you out of here Dan, which I
asked the same three questions to my guest every week.
Um Chargers. You know they're the home team on Sunday
at Sofi, which will be we saw that during the preseason,
but it will be interesting for us to be there
as I'm kind of excited. It's like not as much
(21:46):
should you know when you go when you host a
dinner party, You're like making sure everything's done, and I'm
doing pregame hits on the field, humble brag and like
all this kind of stuff like this is this is
kind of nice. This is I'm going to someone else's house.
I would prefer for it to be my house because
I think I put on the best parties, you know,
but it is sort of nice to just kind of
go in, watch the game and then leave. Yeah, it's
(22:09):
a I assume, Yeah, it's going to be a different
experience as a team employee. I think if I were
the Rams, because it's the Rams house, we all know
it's the Ram's house. I'd still get that DJ in there.
What's the DJ's name? Yeah, yeah, I get DJ mel
Screen in there. I'd also get who else would I
get in there? I'd get the guitar lady Tita Strauss,
(22:30):
Oh yeah, she's Trouse in there. Yeah, but I get
I put him in like hoods, like sneak him in
like with the equipment or something, and then write his
kickoff is coming. Nina Strauss comes up with a mega
the DJ just going nuts. Yeah, and the Charger I
could just picture Justin Herbert like collapsing into a ball
just at the scene hearing the first shred of Strauss's guitar.
(22:54):
I just I think it's just something to think about.
I know, you guys like to do be classy and
have a good relationship. We do, Chargers, but I don't
have a relationship, so I just wanted to throw something up.
I love that, And actually I'm sure my producers taking
notes as we speak to get this up the higher chain. Yeah,
I love that. Who even knows, like who the Chargers
(23:16):
if they're going to be sitting their starters. I know
Austin Eckler wasn't that practicing today, So it's like it
could be another fun win for the Rams to the
way that this offense is cooking, can I I would
say for someone that follows the league, but isn't you know,
living day to day for the Rams. Like, what is
(23:36):
interesting about the Rams to me right now is Baker
And yes, just the story of how he came to
be on the team and how he's played in two
of the three games that have been wins, but also
what does it mean for his future. There's almost like
a weird situation now at play here Ricky, where he's
played really well and that during that comeback and then
(23:58):
obviously all throughout the Christmas game. But if he plays
too well over these last couple of weeks, he's gonna
want to go test the market potentially and and try
to get a starting job. And we already know Matthew
Stafford said on his wife's podcast last week that he
wants to come back. Is there like a level of
play that keeps Baker with the Rams and without him
(24:18):
trying to see what else is out there? And then
next year you have Baker as a great number two
behind Mattie Stafford as your number one. I think that's
what I would want as a Rams fan. But if
if Baker plays out of his mind for the next
two weeks, that might be actually more difficult to keep
him going forward. Okay, Ram Jam to close each show,
like I said, I asked these questions. I did give
(24:39):
them to you in advance. We'll see how prepared you are,
as I'm not at all forgot. I didn't check. Oh god,
so square road of note As a as a fan
or broadcaster, which RAMS moment is your favorite of all time?
My favorite RAMS moment of all time? That would have
(25:00):
to be Kevin Dyson tackled at the one yard line
the Kurt Warner season for the first Super Bowl in
RAMS history. That was, you know, a great storybook season
and the greatest show on turf and all that, but
it was the defense that gets to stop at the
end in dramatic fashion. When I think about the Rams,
(25:23):
that's like the play that really stands out to me. Yeah,
I thought you were going to say the time that
we were doing a postgame interview and instead of the
person we were gonna get, they just walked over John Johnson,
and you guys were like, oh my god, wait wait
with everything we just wrote, that was so funny that
that is one of the all right, Robert Woods, Okay,
you guys, I want you to get ready for your
Robert Woods interview. I had like a whole line of
(25:43):
questioning and as John Johnson's being walked towards it. That
is not Robert Woods. Who is it? Who is it?
Who is it? It was so funny. Oh my god,
you're giving me anxiety just thinking about that moment. That was.
It was a great interview. It was. It was amazing
West with his beanie on in that one. I fawn
fawn memories the old Actually, you know what, I want
to let me change my moment. Okay, so far is beautiful.
(26:06):
Love that stadium. But there was something very cool Ricky
about when we got to see It was a Rams
Cowboys playoff game in the goth era, I think it
was that night, and I remember being down on the field.
I believe the Rams got a big fourth down stop
to win the game, and I remember looking up in
(26:27):
the old coliseum, which is unlike any place in American
sports now because it's so old. Every other stadium now
has luxury suites and the state of the art, and
this place looks as it did in nineteen fifty and
seeing like the lights in like the fog and the
lights and being like this feels like I'm in a
time machine and watching an NFL game, And it was
like twoy and eighteen, and I remember thinking how cool
(26:48):
it was to be on that field watching that, and
it was a great RAMS home crowd going nuts. It
was just when they had gotten good again and come
back to the city. So that is my favorite Rams.
I love, Thank you. I would not have remembered that
unless you brought up the Johnson Tara show. So that's good.
The interview, like I said, ended up being amazing. It
was just the lead up to that was very funny.
(27:10):
Of a scramble. Um, Dan, If you could eat one
food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I know you so well and I don't know if
I could answer, you would say pizza. Pizza, pizza, So
easy on that one. It's that. It's it's my greatest weakness.
It's my best friend. Um I come. I come from
New York and grew up in New York and New Jersey,
where it's the best pizza in the world. But I
(27:31):
have found really good pizza out here in La as well.
Here in Elsa Gundo there's a place called Slicing Pint
which has delicious Uh the pizza. I recommend that highly.
But yes, that's the one food. What is it for you?
I know you can't eat pizza, but yeah I would,
condition I wouldn't do it all the time. Yes, I
would love to have a pizza one day. No, I
(27:53):
would do Yeah, I would. I would love any type
of Mexican food, but if I had to to like
narrow it down to beat tacos, like I love taco
kind of taco. As we're talking, I'm carna sa yeah,
street tacos or bombs, some like chopped onions and some
guawk like that is that is amazing? Okay, Dan, this
last one. And I just as someone through. You're from
(28:14):
New England, I'm from New York. We didn't really understand
Mexican food until you got out here, just like the
glory of it exactly. It's like, yeah, I had like,
you know, what is it like corrabas and I'm just like, wait,
what is this? Yeah, now a taco bell. For the
first eighteen years of my life, I didn't know any better. Really, Yeah,
there was no Mexican wasn't a big thing when I
(28:34):
was going. Yeah, huh, okay, well I could tell you
said taco bell instead of taco bell. You know, It's
just you just seem so out of your element. What
do you say taco bell? Yeah, ta taco bell, taco bell.
Oh yeah, let's got a taco bell. Yeah, you don't
say taco bell, taco bell. Yeah, it's exactly like, Okay, Dan,
what would you do if fear was not a factor
(28:55):
and you could not fail? If fear was not a
factor and I could not Oh, it's the one thing
I would do. I don't know why. I jump it
out of an airplane is the first thing I came
in my mind. Okay, well, you can't fail, so you're
not gonna hit the ground, right. I feel like that
would probably be amazing if I if I so basically
(29:16):
I knew that the parachute will open essentially, Yeah, yeah,
I don't know. That's the first thing that popped mind.
Wouldn't want to like be in a movie. I feel
like you're so charismatic and a good actor like you
wouldn't Oh, you know, it would be cool. I would
I would get up on stage and try to do
stand up or something. I knew it wouldn't end terribly. Yeah,
exactly if you knew you couldn't. Yeah, that would be great.
(29:38):
That's that's something I would like to check off my
bucket list. Dan, thank you for taking the time to
hang out with me. I miss you. Um. It's so
good to catch up. I appreciate you and all that
you do, and I look forward to watching the Rams
move up in your power rankings next week after the
New Year's Day game. I think they might thank you.
Ricky Levy there he goes. Oh, I love seeing him.
(29:59):
Hopefully I'll see you for New Year's Eve, Dan, I
think we have plans, but I guess I gotta double
check that. Okay, before we get out of here, it's
time for the easy to enjoy question of the week. Okay, So,
per next Gen Stats, Rams cornerback Kobe Durant reach a
top speed of twenty one point five miles per hour
on his eighty five yard pick six. Okay, so the
(30:20):
fastest speed reached by a Rams ball carrier since two
two at well? Who was I think twenty one point five?
Maybe they tied. I don't know. I need to look
up the exact number, but I do know that Kobe
Durant reached twenty one point five. So my question to
you Jammie's is how many bottles of barefoot would they
each need to drink for me to beat either of them,
(30:44):
Kobe Durant or two two in one hundred yard race.
So two two's a little bit smaller. I think it
would probably take like four bottles of muscato for me
to beat him, but maybe not. I don't know. They're
both so fast that it would take like a lot
of bottles, would it would take a few few few
bottles barefoot Let me know if you want to test
(31:05):
that out. I'm sure the guys won't be interested, but
we can try it just for fun. Okay, that does
it this week for Ricky's ram Jam you guys, thank
you so much. Happy New Year. I will see you
in the new year. It's gonna be exciting. We've got
a lot to look forward to in twenty twenty three.
Thanks again for Dan hanging out. It was so much fun.
And let's go Rams on Sunday against the Chargers. Let's
(31:28):
ram it.
