Speaker 1 (00:00):
You know, we bring the real conversations here on the show.
And thank you all for DM and me asking me
my thoughts on ABCD. So the Browns was a big
talk yesterday. Yeah, football, first day of football season opening,
and oh my gosh, I couldn't believe what I saw.

(00:23):
I couldn't believe it. But then again reality kicked it
and said, what did you expect? I expected the victory.
I just knew. I knew he was going to I mean,
it was a great game. He looked great to me.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
He's a veteran.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Yeah, well, we got folks dropping balls, we got folks
who couldn't kick.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
I mean, this is all pretty much a new squad,
so they're gonna have to do some adjustments.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
They should have won that game, all right. But what
overshadowed was the shooting down town. Let's talk about it.
Cleveland five seven eights. You were a nine to three
one five people shot around six fifteen in the flats. Yeah,

(01:10):
bullets are flying through, Folks are driving by, stuck in
traffic in the flats. One of the most popular areas
that's known around the country. Cleveland is known for the flats.
If you say you from Cleveland, folks, I would like,
oh man, a good time in the flats, But even
downtown we see a lot more violence with shooting. I

(01:30):
would say some shooting last year. That was a shooting
down on West six. Yes, okay, here it is kids, family,
folks are out coming to have a good time. And
I wasn't there, so I don't know. I don't know
where exactly it was, but it was downtown in the flats,

(01:53):
right there off the front. Yeah, okay, and the I'm
just what is it? What is it? I pray that
the five folk make it through. Absolutely, you trying to
have a good time, want to hang out after the game,
before the game, and then yet you have to worry.

(02:16):
You should not have to if I go to if
I go out, is it possibility this can happen?

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Right, even if you don't get into it with anyone.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
No, you're just walking down a street, Campa. You just
enjoyed the sights, enjoy the beautiful landscape and hanging out
with your buddies.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Yes, these folks use guns to solve problems and have
them and don't even know how to use them because
you don't know what you're doing. If you just randomly
firing out into a crowd.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
And I'm reading your comments on social about the bar
that was shut down. That was bar shut down and
board it up again. I don't know. I wasn't there.
I was talking to Crump earlier theotext and then yeah,
we said, he agreed, we have to ask the folks

(03:13):
who got shot or the people were around it, more
so to where they came from, and that's the police
job to do the investigation. I believe that one of
the folks that were shot was the suspect, if I
read that correctly.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Yeah, they said a twenty eight year old woman, a
forty five year old man, and a twenty one year
old man were hospitalized in critical condition, and a twenty
two year old man and twenty four year old woman
were in stable condition. But I'm not sure if one
of those were the suspect.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Okay, as we get the information we were shared with you.
So the debate over shutting one down on a shutting
multiple down. I've seen that. What do you do to
tailor the violence downtown in the flats? What do you do?

(04:10):
I see folks coming at the mayor. I said, it's
right there, It's on social media, so we can't act
like we don't see it. Yeah, because the place got
boarded up.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
I mean, but people have millions of dollars invested in
those areas that they pay for people to come and
have places to go. So no, they're not going to
be playing around when it comes to keeping money and
the reputation around there exactly.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
So you got the Browns, you're fighting trying to keep
the Browns downtown. Yeah, I'm reading the comments. People say, Oh,
do y'all really want them out there? And what are
you talking about? Go on Brooklyn, brook Park? Do y'all
already want this in brook Park? I'm just reading the comments.
You guys are reading the comments too. What do you
do to reduce this foolishness? I'm just saying, I'm just

(05:03):
just think about it and people let's as well. I know,
I get it, I understand business on it. I get it.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Yes, you don't.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
You don't want to see that, No, He's the first
thing is safety. You don't want to see that.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Because people when they come to the games, they have
their families with it.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
What you think people gonna think about the next time
they play downtown? What do you think what goes through
your mind? Now we cannot live in fear. Yeah, we
cannot live in fear, but we gotta be wise, we
gotta be watchful.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Yeah, you better be aware.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
So what's your take on this? Was this your five?
Was one of your relatives or friend that got shot?
Were you downtown? Were you there? What went through your mind?
What's going on? How do you feel? We're trying to
just watch some football, We're just trying to enjoy downtown

(06:08):
in the flats. What's so your mind?

Speaker 3 (06:10):
What's going on?

Speaker 4 (06:11):
Sown?

Speaker 1 (06:11):
You got it?

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Man?

Speaker 1 (06:12):
How you feel good?

Speaker 3 (06:14):
I was down in nor Orleans about two three years ago,
but pre Marty Grass and the crowd down there was
real wild.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
But one thing I did notice they had police thrones
with cameras recording everything. Oh I see we need that
down here. Yeah, because everything everything goes back to a switchboard,
Everything goes back to you know, to the monitors. They
can see who's doing what, and it's all being recorded.
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
So you said, when we have larger gatherleries downtown, and
I don't know if we I believe we do. I
think we will have some. But you're saying we need
to have more police presence. I did read that online
folks common saying that we need more police presence. So
you're saying more more camera surveillance.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
Well, the drones have the cameras on them, and they
have the red and blue lights, and they set above
our crowds and it was like seven of them in
our area. And then pret murder Gras was pretty big. Yeah,
I'm talking about at least four thousand people eleven o'clock
at night. No incidents, none that I saw, No people

(07:22):
rushing or you know, no fights or violence. You know,
everybody just having a good time. But with the presence
of them drones made a difference.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
You see it right.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
Above your head ten fifteen feet. Hey, I'm being recorded.
I better I do nothing.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Yeah, okay, all right, man, thanks thanks for that. Tell
us how you feel walk to the show.

Speaker 5 (07:41):
Hey, good morning, So good morning.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
How you doing today.

Speaker 5 (07:45):
I hope you caught those guys that was dumping trash
and your trash.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Back there, illegal dumping at my business? What's up with
y'all y'all all on camp?

Speaker 3 (07:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (07:55):
Yeah, sorry, man, But I hope that the families and
uh for the people that got got shot hopefully turn
out to be okay. Uh, but at the end of
the day, man, it's election time. So for him to
board that bar up that quick, he's looking for the votes.

Speaker 6 (08:12):
You know.

Speaker 5 (08:13):
Yeah, that's that's that's my thing, you know, being involved
in the in the streets activities when it's election time,
you got to walk a thin line. Man. You know,
you got to cross your t's and got your you know.
Unfortunately you got a bunch of college out there with
those guns. But for them to board that bar up
as quick as he did it, he's just looking for

(08:35):
the votes.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
You think that's what it is.

Speaker 7 (08:38):
Yes, that's my thought, all right.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
Legally changing future Junior's name to include Wilson Russell Wilson's name.
They've been married since uh what a minute, since twenty seventeen.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Pretty much that child's whole life.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Uh, ain't got to do all that.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
I mean, they were.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
I mean, he's great. You did a fantastic job, and
you're doing a great job. Let's do not take away
from that, Russell.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
Let's applaud the people. Let's do that want to care
for a child as their own.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
But you don't need to put your you don't need
to put your last name on it. We know, we
know who you are. We need we know who his
daddy is. He's doing too much.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
Well him and Sierra are one now whatever?

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Yeah, rich Green?

Speaker 6 (09:23):
What up?

Speaker 7 (09:24):
What's going on with the style? What's going on to you?
Just my quicker pinion that baby have a future's last
name was a courtesy because they weren't married. But she
had that baby. She could have gave him any last
name to begin with.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (09:43):
I will say this though, Yeah, let that be that
youngs man decision where he gets old enough to make
that decision.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Then I'm with you on that part.

Speaker 7 (09:51):
But uh, they weren't married, now, CARDI, if he did
something like that, I would look at that a spite
because they were married, but she would they had their kids.

Speaker 6 (09:58):
You know.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
That's true.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
Man, But did you hear.

Speaker 7 (10:03):
What young up? Did you hear what young dud told him?

Speaker 4 (10:05):
Though?

Speaker 7 (10:07):
He said, Hey, man, be more of a father instead
of chasing these wopen You got all these kids out here.
You're not being a father and this is an example
of that.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
You know what, young thug. You know, you go ahead
and get yourself together with Gunner first, then we are
listening to you.

Speaker 6 (10:22):
You get your baby mama together, Yes, sir.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
That's good stuff, all right, bro five some of the
ath ak what was going on? Walk through show?

Speaker 8 (10:40):
Yeah, Sam, And that happened to me, uh at one
time when my ex thought that she was going to
try that like change my daughter's last name to her
new dudes uh last name. But I she didn't know.
I knew how to file emotions and I can tested
and I won in court, and I saw a future
had to do. I mean a lot of guys just
given give them, give in, and you know, and don't know.

(11:02):
There's things that you could do yourself.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
Look it up.

Speaker 8 (11:05):
I mean this being the information highway, you can look
anything up, you know, to contest certain things. And Russell,
he's weak for that. I would never take another man's
birth life from him. I don't care if I've raised
other kids, you know that was step children. I would
never try to take a race their father, you know
what I'm saying. I don't care if I am taken
and I did take care of the kids, you know,

(11:26):
but that's what that's what. I have zero respect for
him to even go along with that, and I certainly
don't have no respect for her even to suggest that,
because I mean, you just say, I mean that is
his biological regardless of whatever he is or isn't as
a father, that's just biological. And she gave him that last.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Name stuffte No, but what about the child? What about
it if the child wanted to match their siblings? I mean,
we don't know where.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
Is daddy got a big name too?

Speaker 2 (12:02):
Well, No, I'm just saying it was word edition.

Speaker 8 (12:08):
I'm you said the key word child. That means that
that child doesn't, you know, make decisions for themselves. And
that's what the judge told my because that's exactly what
she said in court.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
I did.

Speaker 8 (12:21):
It wasn't no, no, this is a child, you know,
and the judge that I absolutely will not grant that
motion and threw it so far out of court you
can't even It was so funny, you know. That's all
I'm saying is that it's a child. And what if
they split up? So you need to tell you my
child got to be stuck with a dude's last name.
And y'allready need it together anymore?

Speaker 6 (12:43):
What happened?

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Now you got Now you get all these you got,
you got last names like tattoos. That's my ex daddy
that they see cy solid.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
They have a solid relationship.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
I think that's too far. It's too far. It's too far.

Speaker 8 (12:59):
I've seen solid relationships break up after thirty years or whatever.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
You know, But does that change the fact that Russell
Wilson has been this young man's.

Speaker 8 (13:09):
Father and he did nothing special that no other man
has done, you know, married to a woman that got kids.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
He ain't got bigger, he just he's just a football
player that's a millionaire, just like his dad, his daddy.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
He said that his mother was kind of behind the
way that he parents future junior as well. She said
that if you married this woman, you have to treat
her son as your own.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Okay, he don't get credit. That's fine, you don't get
an actual credit. Let's stop it.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
That's what It's a different perspective.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
What's a credit's creditor? We have both dads day. I
want to know what the child thinks he cares about.
Probably don't even give it down. I'm pretty sure this
is one. This is Russell doing his thing, convincing Sierra. Yes, absolutely,
I wouldn't. I wouldn't do that to no kid. I
wouldn't do that. I'm feeling you. I'm here, I had
you since she was two, so you're gonna carry my

(14:05):
last name.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
I think every family dynamic is different, and everybody chooses
to do, you know, what they feel is best for
their

Speaker 1 (14:13):
Kids, which I got to say about a five seven days,
you're now three months
