My eyes are open. The Bible says in Ephesians, chapter one,
verse eighteen, I pray that the eyes of your heart
may be enlightened, in order that you may know the
hope to which He has called you, the riches of
his glorious inheritance in his Holy people. Here's a quick
story about a young man on a train with his dad.

He's on the train and he yells out out of nowhere,
Look dat I can see the trees. Folks are looking around, like,
how in the world having you seen a tree before?
Then he yells out again, look dat I can see
the grass. Folks are now beginning to talk. They're whispering.
They don't understand how in the world you ain't seen
No grasp, he yells out one more time, Dad, look,

I can see the birds flying in the sky. Finally,
somebody on the train builds up some courage and they
ask the dad, what's wrong with your son. He tells them,
he says, my son was blind from birth, but we
just left the doctor and he's seeing for the first time.
There's some stuff that has transpired in twenty twenty five
in your life where now you're seeing for the first time.

There's some stuff that opened up your eyes. I didn't
see it before, but now I'm seeing for the first time.
And as we cross over into a new year, there's
some things that God's gonna open up your eyes to
even the more. He gonna open your eyes so you
can see toxic people. He's gonna open your eyes so
you can see your own negative talk. He's gonna open

your eyes so you can see how you're neglecting your health.
He's gonna open your eyes so you can see how
to prioritize strong relationships. He's gonna open your eyes so
you can see how to have financial stability. He's gonna
open your eyes so you can be present. He's gonna
open your eyes so you can guard your words. He's
gonna open your eyes so you can practice humility. He's

gonna open your eyes so you can set boundaries. I
wish I had.
