Speaker 1 (00:00):
What's going on ken What's Trending with Kenya is brought
(00:03):
to you by McDonalds. I'm loving it as a wzak
Cleveland dot com for more on what's trending with Kenya now.
President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Monday threatening
to withhold or revoke federal funding to local and state
governments that offer cashless bail, arguing that it's a threat
to public Safely now they're saying that no cash, come
(00:23):
back in a couple of months, we'll give you a trial.
You'll never see the person again. Now. Proponents are saying
that eliminating cash bail describes it as a penalty on poverty,
suggesting that the wealthy can pay their way out of
jail to await trial, while those with fewer financial resources
have to sit it out behind bars. So critics of
(00:46):
the cash list route have argued that bail is a
time honored way to ensure defendants released from jail show
up for court proceedings, and they warrant that violent criminals
will be released pending trial, giving them license to commit
other crimes. But I mean, it doesn't change the fact
that if you commit a crime just because you have
(01:06):
a few more dollars, you know, to get out of jail.
It is a penalty on poverty. If you can't afford it,
then you just got to sit there for the whole time.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
Now, mass federal agents were snatching people up outside of
a home depot in Los Angeles, and one of them,
they're saying, was a day labor by the name of Hector,
and they swooped him out in an unmarked van and
people were shouting like, hey, he's a US citizen. So
they just swooping up people that's outside a home depot
(01:40):
looking for jobs, whether you're a citizen or not. They're
just swooping up people.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
So this is Are we sure that's what happened? What
do you mean? Are we sure? Are we sure? Do
you think so? So Hector was out there, he's one
of the people like you pull up and you get
like looking for work. Yeah, no, that's not what happened.
At what happened. What happened was one of the contracts
was like we had to get Hector before somebody else
get them. Is that what happened? To pick whatever you need,
but we gotta get you first.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
No, they snatched up folks. They a't supposed to be
snatching up. Now, a Florida woman has been accused of
installing fake veneers without a dental license. Emily Martinez, she
was arrested again. I mean, I never knew all these
people were just practicing medicine without a license. Now, her
dental work allegedly left multiple victims with infections and damaged
(02:26):
teeth because they said, this thirty five year old us
super glue to affix veneers to victims' mouths. Now, didn't
they smell the super glue because that has a very
distinct smell. But she administered the service at Tap and
Beauty Bar in Pinellis, Florida, at Pinelli's Park, Florida, where
she marketed herself as a Veneer technician, and she offered
(02:48):
to install these veneers for three thousand dollars a set.
Now usually it's about one thousand dollars per tooth. But
she is unlicensed, and she received no formal schooling, and
multiple victims had to get emergency dental work done to
undo the damage. So people had to pay thousands of
dollars just to undo what this girl did. And so
(03:09):
you know, police became aware of Martinez when two victims
reported that they had endured complications from the near installations,
and they said that she was working on kids and
she may have used different business names and all this
stuff to be doing this. So she's been messing people up.
Now Little nas X he's out of jail after that
(03:29):
episode where he was wandering around the streets naked and
all of that. Well, his dad is saying that he's
now doing very well mentally after he's been released.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
From jail, have a breakdown or he was on We
don't know now. I thought it was just publicity until
they kept them.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
Yeah, they charged him with four felonies, so if it
was some publicity type of stunt, then it definitely went
too far. And he said he's focused on getting his
son the help he needed, and he denied that a
son was using drug at the time. So I don't
know what would be the thing that was driving that behavior.
But he was taken to the hospital for a suspected OD,
(04:09):
but he was eventually transported to the Van Nuys jail
after officers say that he injured three of them dressed
in nothing. So yeah, his father is asking for prayers.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
For a sign. One man injured three flinging.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
They probably was just can you imagine having a wrestle
somebody who's completely naked, Like, what are you even doing
right now?
Speaker 2 (04:35):
Man? Yeah? Hurt? Three dudes?
Speaker 1 (04:37):
Yes, well, prayers, prayers with cowboy boots, out with cowboy
boots and nothing on that. Everything just slanging all around,
just a mess. Now. Russell and Nina Westbrook, well, they
decided to run it back. They renewed their vows in
in Italy, so they had a They got married at
(04:58):
the Beverly Hills Hotel back in tw fifteen, and they
rented a boat in Italy with their closest family and friends,
and they decided to run it back again. So ten
years they ran it back. So they seem so in love.
They have three children together. And Jocelyn Hernandez, she showed
the sentimental future footage of her and her husband ballistic
(05:18):
beats sending Bonnie Bella. Now we always see Jocelyn acting up,
fighting and all this stuff, but she was so soft
in this video with her daughter, and her daughter seems
like a little genius. She was like I can't she
was going to third grade. She was like, I can't
wait to get back to work. And they said that
she was a little genius already, So shout out to
(05:39):
them and Leslie. Yo, kids, they will tell everything. Now.
Sierra's daughter, Sienna, she said in an interview with her mama,
She said a Ride was her favorite song that you know,
that's pretty little song, and Sierra just be well, Sierra
was like, don't mention that song. She was like, you know,
I'm gonna say it, and she starts singing the song
(06:00):
and flinging her little up in the air. She I
believe she's eight years old. Now, yeah, she's eight years old, Sienna,
And uh, you know, see her was looking embarrassed. But
what you go to say, You know, people don't want
to be a role model till their little daughters start
singing that.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
Your daughter start doing a little Kim tricks talking about
I love Carli b Tricks, love the Way Ride, And
I was like.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
I thought about that when she was like, I love
that song, man, you knew the answer, she said.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
And she thinks she ain't thinking about what she made
the song about.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
I know she's not thinking about it, but that's horrifying
when you hear some of those words come out your
little child's mouth, You're like, oh goodness, great,
