Speaker 3 (00:02):
Now, first of all, I have to say rest in
peace to a beautiful young lady that I met just
a few months ago on the Tom Joyner Fantastic Voyage
Big Brother Star Mickey Lee. She died after being rushed
to the ICU last week. And unfortunately, you know, they
said that she had the flu and she suffered several
strokes heart attacks rather and you know she passed away
(00:27):
on Christmas Day, So just really sad situation. Her family
was trying to raise money for her medical bills, but
she lost her fight on Christmas Day. So thirty five
years old, way to to too young to be saying goodbye.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
But also a.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
Mother allegedly shot her son is now facing some charges
when she shot her son on Christmas Day. Now, the
family was at Red Robin. They were sitting down at
brunch and I guess the sun was getting belligerent and disrespectful,
so they decided to exit the restaurant and goes it
to the car, where the argument continued and ended up
(01:04):
with the mother shooting the son in the thigh. So
she has now been arrested for shooting him. Because of
course the son identified her as the shooter, and so
she has she's been charged now and she's being held
without bell.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
That's crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
Aggravated battery with a weapon causing bodily harm, it's what
she was charged with.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Mama, Yeah, she shot him. What was he doing that?
Mama had to pull out the strap?
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Let's shoot him at She.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
Shot him in a thigh, which could have been very
That could have been fatal if she would have hit
that femoral artery.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yeah. So I don't know what he did, but he
won't pull up on his bell. I don't know, but
I mean wow.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
Now, Tyler Perry, it's his turn at bat, and not
for a good reason. He's being sued for seventy seven
million dollars from an actor by the name of Mario Rodriguez.
He appeared in Boo Medea Halloween. Now, this is the
second actor to sue Tyler Perry. And he's saying that
Tyler Perry used his power in Hollywood to make sexual advances.
(02:08):
Now he's saying that Tyler Perry subjected him to repeat
it unwanted sexual advances over several years.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
Now.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
They said he said one of the incidents was of
the sexual battery was at Tyler Perry's Los Angeles home,
and he's saying he's seeking claims of sexual assault, sexual battery,
and intentional infliction of emotional distress and he wants at
least seventy seven million dollars.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
And he's also suing the.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
Company that put out the movie. I'm trying to find it,
but it is whatever bim is them Lionsgate, yes, who
distributed the film in twenty.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Sixteen, so we know what's going on with this.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
But he's claiming that these were separate instances. You know,
one was an assault while they watched a movie, and
then you know, just several years down the line, they mad.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
At Tyler Perry because Hollywood is struggling right now.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Is that what it is?
Speaker 1 (03:07):
That's one of them? And you got this black man
doing what he's doing. I'm not saying that he can't, because.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
How would you think it's possible?
Speaker 1 (03:13):
But I just I'm just telling you a target once
you start, you know, really making moves like that. I mean,
that's a lot of bread that's been taken away from
Los Angeles.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
Well, I mean, you know, the current administration is kind of.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
That before that, but I mean, he's gonna get somebody
else gonna h him another lawsuit. They're gonna keep coming,
you know, they're gonna keep coming.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
What what what gives me pause is like all these
several years, you go to somebody's house, they trying to
touch you.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
Are you going back? I'm not going back. I'm not
going back up right, I don't.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Know, he said, Perry tried to give him five thousand
dollars for hush money, So I don't know. That's like
the new hustle right now is the civil lawsuits. If
you got a big, big paycheck, if you break up,
have a bad breakup, friendship up, whatever you can.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Ensue these days.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
Now, there was a situation in Sunrise, Florida, where a
tow truck driver by the name of Sergio Suarez, thirty
four years old.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
He was towing this parked.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
Vehicle while a four year old girl was still inside
of it. Now, the child's father told officers that he
ran out of the restaurant and repeatedly was banging on
the tow truck window. You could see on the video
it was just ooh so heartbreaking. But he was trying
to tell him, my daughter is in a car, but
the tow truck driver said that he just kept going
(04:34):
because he was afraid that the guy just wanted his
car back and he was going to get aggressive. So
the father also said that his heart dropped when he
saw his daughter fall out the car in the middle
of the roadway, and so you know, she had some
minor injuries luckily. But Suarez is now charged with child
neglect without great bodily harm, a third three degree felony
(04:56):
in Florida, and he was released on a ten thousand
dollars buck the toe man, this is the toe man now.
He worked for Always Telling, and they said they called
him multiple times to say that a child was inside
the car and he said that he stopped like three
times and didn't find anybody. The judge said he looked
at the video evidence, and the video suggested otherwise.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
Yeah, I see when you got your car, you get
your Kyrie poll. Okay, we at least what they used
to do. They come and knock on your door. Why
the truck is, hey, you got something you want to
get out of here? With the strap on? You got
something you want to get out of here before I
take it?
Speaker 3 (05:34):
Yeah, yeah, okay, the things just be gone because I'm
sure they've gotten us.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
Now there's a viral petition seeking to deport Nicki Minaj
to Trina to Trinidad, and the signatures have surpassed fifty
one thousand signatures following her Erica Kirk interview. Now it's
called Pedantica Minaj and they tagged the White House, ICE, FBI,
(06:06):
US Military, all of them on this petition because she's
not a US citizen.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
She was born in Trinidad.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
And after the whole situation with her cozy and up
to this current administration, President Donald Trump, Vice President J. D.
Vance and the interview with Erica kirkis some of the
things that she said, people were like, listen, we done
with you, miss Nikki. And I also saw reports that
she was losing followers on social media by the millions,
(06:32):
to the point that she had deactivated it at one point.
I don't know if she has reactivated her social media.
But also congratulations to Shador Standers and the Cleveland Browns
for preventing the Steelers from clinching that AFC North with
a win of thirteen to six over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
And lastly, a Salvation Army bell ringer he got drunk
(06:54):
on his volunteer shift ringing the bell, and he ended
up attacking the manager of a Florida publics while he
was collecting money on Christmas Eve. This guy was being
belligerent and aggressive towards the people he was trying to
collect from, so the manager stepped in and he tried
to impale the manager with the little kettle tripods, so
(07:15):
he was arrested. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
I like to go back to one of the stories
you just did. I like to say good morning to
all the Clevelanders who are Pittsburgh fans.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
If you're from Cleveland and you're a Pittsburgh.
