Sad news out of la yesterday where we got the
heartbreaking news at Rob Reiner and his wife, legendary director
Okay and actor were found dead in their home yesterday afternoon.
They were reported that this was a robbery homicide and
they were stabbed.

Man, I was like, oh what his career kicked off
back in nineteen sixties, their early sixties. Man, he started
his career in show business as a comedian, as a
comedian writer, that is, working with Steve Martin's writing partner
and Smothers brother's comedy Our nineteen sixty eight and nineteen

sixty nine. Of course, he'd done some great work man,
All in the Family. You remember the sitcom All in
the Family known as Meathead. Yeah, I remember that, man.
He was a supporting actor in that comedy series. Word
is they're investigating his they're questioning his son. He could
be a suspect and his death. So prayers are up

for that family. That's a lot now, y'all. Remember that
door dash driver were talking about last week that got
caught pepper spraying her customer's food Courtney Stevens was cuffed
Friday and booked on charges including customer product tampering and
battering resultine uh and a moderate bodily injury.

What is wrong with folk? You can see her opening
up the bag.

It's pepper spray in the ladies food, the people's food.

A husband says that he got the food.

His wife started choking, and this and that and something
had him to go back and look at the ring
cam and you can see her on the ring can
pepper spraying the woman's food. There are some real nuts
out here, real live nuts.

Yeah, but they say Tremaine was arrested in New York
following an early morning altercation at a club.

Prosecutor say the situation escalated after staffed and formed the
venue they were closing around about four in the morning,
and they alleged that Trey punched a nightclub employee in
the face, causing pain and swelling, and was taken into
custody in charge with the assault. They said that he
costs about fifteen hundred dollars in property damage, including hookahs,

the hookah machines, and DJ equipment.

They're trying to sum as well. Of course, Trey said
not it ain't what happened.

Trey always in the news for something and always on
the court side. Always some legal stuff going on with Trey.
So Kamara, Yes, so Kamora. At least Simmons then got
Russell ticked off. I guess she was in this interview
with People magazine and she said I usually would say
that I cope parent okay, but the kids are with
me full time. She could tinue, I'm pretty much the

Wo. Russell didn't like that. Now Russell wasn't feeling that.
He came back and hit her like folks like, oh no.
He said, I gave you fifty thousand a month for
twenty years.

I'm the godfather to your other three kids until one
day you stole my stock.

Y'all remember that. Then he went on to say, didn't
stop there.

He said, I've been fighting for my kids, love and
my bread ever since you threatened that if I sue you,
I would never speak to my kids again. Then he
went on and said, there are two sides to every story.
You're like, what are you talking about?
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Yeah? They going at it. You're like, what you're talking about?
Matter of fact?

What do He said he was giving up like fifty
thousand dollars a month. He said, I gave you fifty
thousand dollars a month for twenty years.

The Burden
The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three).
