The Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships aim to nurture world-class talent that will help power India’s new era of growth. Reliance Foundation will identify and support 100 of India's brightest postgraduate students with a grant award of Rs 6 lakh through their degree and a strong development programme. They aim to nurture future leaders who can think big, think green, think digital for the benefit of society.
Meet Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholars from 2022-23 - Gowtham Ambati and Ishrath who share their stories and dreams. A resident of Hyderabad Ambati, is currently pursuing his postgraduation in Renewable Energy Science and Technology from Indian Institute Of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad). Hailing from Hyderabad, Ishrath is currently pursuing postgraduation in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute Of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar). Both scholars were awarded the Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships in the 2022-23 cycle for meeting all eligibility criteria and for their meritorious performance in the Scholarships. The two scholars share their tips and experiences of applying for and successfully getting the scholarship.

The Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships 2023-24 for which applications are now open, will identify and select students from nine select future-facing degree programmes in India through a rigorous and competitive selection process. First-year postgraduate students from institutes across India pursuing degree programmes in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Sciences, Mathematics and Computing, Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Renewable and New Energy, Material Science & Engineering and Life Sciences are eligible to apply.
Reliance Foundation Scholarships will nurture and support these bright students with a holistic development programme, including expert interactions, industry exposure and volunteering opportunities creating a cohort of excellence, every year. The selected scholars will be awarded up to Rs 6 Lakhs over the duration of the course. Scholars will also benefit from additional engagement and development activities (including the chance to attend expert sessions and workshops with leading global experts, opportunities to apply for mentoring/internships, volunteering opportunities, a strong alumni network and more), and will join a vibrant community of scholars that will be at the forefront of creating and building a new India.
