Today we discuss the DETAILS of Genesis 8 and the description about the end of the Flood, with a particular focus on CLUES about the geological and CLIMATE IMPACT the POST-FLOOD World.

 

We'll focus on how the GLOBAL FLOOD is actually the Best mechanism for the GLOBAL ICE age.

 

Evolutionary scientists have a problem explaining what triggered the ICE AGE under their NON-CATASTROPHIC UNIFORMITARIAN view of geology, which is that the PRESENT is the key to the PAST.  Yet there are no conditions TODAY that could INDUCE an Ice Age.

 

To meet these conditions, the OCEAN WATER MUST BE GLOBALLY WARM, and the TEMPERATURES ON LAND MUST BE GLOBALLY COLD, at least in the northern hemisphere.  These conditions are so unique, that a GRADUAL CHANGE in temperature COULD NOT induce them. 

 

the GLOBAL FLOOD prove to be the BEST MODEL for explaining the ICE AGE? It is found in the PATTERNS, the CATASTROPHIC GEOLOGICAL events, THEIR EFFECTS, and the NEW POST-FLOOD WEATHER PATTERNS.

 

• Geological Upheaval
• Rapid plate tectonics
• Catastrophic volcanism on land and in the oceans
• Evident in island chains
• Floor spreading in Mid-Atlantic ridge reveals new sea floor of magma
• Hydrothermal activity evident in oceans and on land

 

All this VOLCANIC ACTIVITY created 2 phenomenon, evident in the geological features:

• Super heating the ocean waters
• Volcanic aerosols suspended in the atmosphere would block out the sun
