In the fourth story of this podcast, we narrate the story of how Lord Ganesha went on to become the first revered god. One day, all the gods started fighting as to who should be the first revered god by humans. In this, they ended up seeking inputs from Lord Shiva who set up a competition in which the first person to circumvent the Earth and be back will be the winner. While all the other gods went literally to take a circle of the world, Lord Ganesh took a circle around his parents and told everyone that his parents are his entire world. He has thus crowned the winner and given the title of first revered god.
