ഭരണവിരുദ്ധവികാരമില്ലെന്നും ശബരിമല സ്വര്‍ണ്ണകൊള്ള വിവാദം തദ്ദേശ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ തിരിച്ചടിയാട്ടില്ലെന്നും ന്യായീകരിച്ച് സിപിഎം.  പരാജയത്തിന്‍റെ കാരണം ആഴത്തില്‍ പരിശോധിച്ച് തെറ്റുകള്‍ തിരുത്തുമെന്നും  മധ്യകേരളത്തിലും മലപ്പുറത്തും കൊല്ലത്തുമുണ്ടായ തിരിച്ചടി പ്രത്യേകമായി വിലയിരുത്തുമെന്നും സിപിഎം സംസ്ഥാന സെക്രട്ടറി എം വി ഗോവിന്ദന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു
