Im Spitzengespräch mit Markus Feldenkirchen diskutieren der Außenexperte der SPD, Michael Roth, CDU-Politiker Jens Spahn und Constanze Chucholowski von den Democrats Abroad.
„Ich bin schockiert“, sagt Constanze Chucholowski über den Wahlausgang. „Ich dachte, dass vor allem Frauen einen Unterschied machen können. Das ist so nicht gekommen.“
Jens Spahn kritisiert die Bundesregierung: Sie habe sich zu früh auf eine Präsidentin Harris festgelegt. „Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass man belastbare Kontakte auch zu Trump aufbaut. Stattdessen sagt der Kanzler, er endorsed Biden, als der noch Kandidat war.“
Michael Roth sorgt sich um die Sicherheit der Ukraine: „Wenn wir nicht wollen, dass es auf einen Diktatfrieden hinausläuft, dann müssen wir jetzt den USA Folgendes anbieten: Wir sind bereit, die komplette Unterstützung der Ukraine finanziell zu schultern.“
