Anton Hofreiter nutzt die Gelegenheit, um der CDU Wählertäuschung vorzuwerfen. »Es war bereits vor ein paar Wochen klar, dass, wenn die Union in die Regierung kommt, sie die Schuldenbremse lockern würde. Das haben die auch unter vier Augen immer zugegeben.« Hofreiter weiter: »Zum Teil kam die Aussage: Ja, natürlich helfen wir euch jetzt nicht, wir sind ja noch in der Opposition. Wir wären ja doof, wenn ihr euch jetzt helfen würden, aber nachher nach der Wahl muss das möglichst schnell passieren.«
