Es sollte keine Zukunft mit Faschisten geben.« Franziska Brandmann wiederum stellt die Ergebnisse der ZEIT-Recherche zum Ampel-Bruch infrage - insbesondere die angebliche Verwendung des Wortes D-Day: »Ich kenne alle Personen, die bei diesen Gesprächen dabei gewesen sein sollen. Alle haben mir gegenüber klargemacht, dass sie von diesem Wort nichts gewusst und es auch nicht gesagt haben.«
