Ralf Stegner teilt gegen den Kanzlerkandidaten der CDU, Friedrich Merz aus: »Ob das so schlau ist, sich hinzustellen und zu sagen „Wenn ich Bundeskanzler werde, dann liefere ich Waffensysteme X“. Ob das so schlau war, zwei Monate vorher im Deutschen Bundestag zu sagen, „Wenn der russische Präsident innerhalb von 24 Stunden dies und das tut, sonst kommt folgendes“. Das ist an Dummheit nicht zu übertreffen.«
