Tune in here to this Tuesday's edition of the Brett Winterble Show!

Brett kicks off the program by talking about the dramatic House vote and the political pressure surrounding it. He explains that Democrats pushed the vote to get every member on record, and the measure ultimately passed with only one Republican — Clay Higgins of Louisiana — voting no. From there, Brett shifts into the deeper implications behind the vote, tying it to the long-standing controversy surrounding Jeffrey Epstein and the powerful figures who associated with him.

He emphasizes that most Americans never had anything to do with Epstein, yet many elites chose to involve themselves in what he calls a “cesspool of evil.” Brett frames the discussion around moral choices, the battle between good and evil, and the consequences of pursuing darkness for power or pleasure. He cites testimonies from Epstein’s victims and argues that the core question society must confront is simple but profound: What is your soul worth?

Beth Troutman from Good Morning BT is also here for this Tuesday's episode of Crossing the Streams. Brett and Beth talk about the House’s overwhelming 427–1 vote to advance the Epstein records release bill, the Senate’s expected action, and what full disclosure could mean for powerful figures across politics, business, and global institutions. Beth also shares her long-standing work on human trafficking, including her documentary projects, the importance of stopping both the supply and demand sides of trafficking, and the potential societal shock if a client list becomes public.

Beth also shares what she and the team have coming up tomorrow on Good Morning BT, including an interview with a trafficking survivor who just released a memoir and a Charlotte-based organization helping victims rebuild their lives.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
There's talk eleven ten, not nine to three. WBT. It's
the Brett water Bows Show. It is great to be
with you, ladies and gentlemen. Big stuff happening, and one
of the biggest of the big things that are happening
is I think is very interesting. They took the vote
just in the last fifteen twenty minutes, so it passed.

(00:43):
So the attempt by the Democrats to get everybody on
the record was successful. It was very successful. They had
one person who voted who voted no, and that's Clay
Higgins from the beautiful state of Louisiana. And he said no.

(01:04):
He said no to that. He said, I'm not going
to be a part of this. I don't believe it.
It's this is this is whatever it is. And so
now it's on to I guess it's technically onto the Senate,
where they're gonna have to look at the documents and
then they're gonna go to this. They're gonna go to
the vote there, and then it'll go to the President
for his signature. And the President of the United States

(01:25):
said earlier today that he would sign it. He said
they said he would sign He said, I will sign this.
This is going to be something I will sign. I
have no problem with this. If you guys are bringing
it down the line, we're gonna sign it and we're
gonna get this done. So what's the positive side of this? Like,
what is what is it that this exercise has been?

(01:47):
Because I gotta be honest with you, and this is
one of the things that people don't understand in the
world of politics. Okay, they don't understand that mostly Democrats
took money from Epstein and a lot of people who

(02:10):
spent time with Epstein are Democrats. I'm not trying to
throw you under the bus. I'm not trying to make
you feel sad. I'm not trying to make you feel bad.
I'm not trying to do any of that at all,
none of that. Look, the facts are the facts. I
didn't go to Epstein Island, this audience didn't go to
Epstein Island. A majority of people in the country didn't

(02:30):
go to Epstein Island. But you got a bunch of
people who were pervy, a bunch of people who were predators,
a bunch of people who were bad human beings who
decided that they were going to go and do the
thing that they wanted to do you have a choice
in life. Everybody has a choice in life. You can

(02:51):
be a good person or you can be a bad person.
That's it. You have to make a decision early on
in your life who you want to be. I've always
always strived to be on the side of the angels
and not on the devils. But let me tell you this,

(03:12):
it's difficult. Right. You have to make decisions. Peer pressure
is real, the devil is real. All of this is real.
You know, it's kind of funny if I ever mentioned
the devil when I'm doing riffs here on the show,
I will get messages from people saying, why do you
have to talk about religion. I don't know. Why don't

(03:33):
you talk about religion. I'm not going to hide my
candle under a bushel basket. I want people to be safe.
I want people to be in a position where they
have dignity, that they have honesty, they have all of

(03:55):
the things that you would love for people to have.
But unfortunately, because we are a fallen culture, and we
have been for a very long time, there are people
who who thrive on evil. You see it all the time.
You see these television news reports, you hear things on

(04:16):
the radio. You see horrible things that have happened. My god,
can you imagine think about think about a guy like
Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew had the world by the butt.
I don't mean that literally, but probably. But the fact

(04:37):
of the matter is that guy who can do anything
he wants. He's one of the most powerful people in
the entire universe. And that guy, that guy decided he
wanted to be a predator, like a Jack the Ripper predator.
Why do people decide to bend the knee for evil? Why?
Now I know there are people driving around there going well,

(04:57):
why don't you just tell the people not to not
to deport the people. Why don't you just don't do
anything with Donald Trump? Why don't you do blah blah
blah blah blah blah blah blah. Donald Trump sat today
with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, the guy who
will be the king of Saudi Arabia at some point

(05:18):
when his father passes. He sat with him and they talked,
and Donald Trump was questioned by some weird ABC reporter
who said, well, what about it? You had relationship? Did
you know him? What's going on with all that? And
Donald Trumps about has about had it. He's about had it.
This is a guy who understands, I think pretty clearly

(05:42):
what a filthy, disgusting creature that Jeffrey Epstein and Julaye
and Maxwell were. I think he knew it. I think
that's why he threw him out of his club. I
think that's why he said he never wanted to go
to that thing ever again. And now, over the course
of the last two three four weeks, there have been
these reports that have come out. You can look them up.

(06:05):
You can look at these elites who went. Remember I
played the clip last week with Katie Couric went to
Epstein's house. There was another person, Tina Tina, Tina what's
her face, who was the doyenne of the Fashion Guild
there in New York City. She went and spent time

(06:26):
over the Tina Brown, right, Tina Brown. Tina Brown went
and spent time and she said, it was as if
you were swimming in a cesspool. From the moment she
came into the building to the moment she left the building.
These elites all knew what was going on. Now, that's
why they're telling their story. That is, these the wages

(06:48):
of sin are what death death. Your soul will die,
you will die. Everybody dies. But you know what, during
the beginning of your life and the end of your life,
you certainly probably would rather be on the side of
the angels as opposed to the devils. Today in the chamber,

(07:11):
we heard because we couldn't I couldn't see it. I
was driving, but I was listening to c Span the
entire time on the debate, and you could hear. You
could hear these these women who at some point in
time were young girls who were trafficked by a filthy, disgusting, savage,
awful demon called Jeffrey Epstein. And as anybody knows, as

(07:39):
anybody knows, you have a choice to make in your life.
This man chose to be a predator. This man was
built to be a predator. And the disgusting, despicable thing
about this is he had so many people around him,
with so much power, who didn't necessarily need to rape,

(08:02):
murder whatever else might have happened on foreign territory, whatever
that is. These were not people who wanted anything that
is beautiful. They wanted something that was violent and ugly,
just like the devil wants, Just like the devil wants

(08:23):
to put you in a grave with no ability to repent.
That's what we have to think about. What is your
soul's worth? News Talk eleven nine three WBT. All right,

(08:55):
let's look at some of the sound in the advance
before we had the vote that just took place. So
let's let's take a little bit of a dive here.
I think cut number twenty two. Matt Schlapp, he is
the guy who runs a sea pack. Very interesting take
on this discharge position petition, Cut number twenty two. Please go.

(09:17):
Let me try to answer this.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
The reason why the Democrats have gone so in on
this question is.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Because they really didn't think it would be released, and
so they're like, well, they're not releasing because they have
something to hide.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
So now Trump's calling their bluff. He saying, fine, if
you and.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
A few Democrats, a few Republicans like Marjor Taylor Green
want to vote for this discharge petition, be careful what
you wish for.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
I think all these Democrats I've been saying it too.
So that's sort of like the way things went pretty
much for the last I don't know, five six years.
But here was Donald Trump right. People seem to think
that like, Oh, Donald Trump's going to try to hide
from any of this. Donald Trump has said he's not
connected to this in this regard, and so here is

(09:58):
cut number twenty from Trump on Epstein go true social as.

Speaker 4 (10:04):
I mean, you urged House Republicans to vote in favor
of this Epstein release bill.

Speaker 5 (10:08):
They're going to vote on them tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
I just want to be super clear at your position.
Do you want to see that past the Senate? Would
you sign that bill if it gets to your desk?

Speaker 6 (10:17):
I do want to say, here's what I want. We
have nothing to do with Epstein with Democrats too, all
of his friends with Democrats. You look at this red hooffin.
You look at Larry Summers Biltlin, they went to his
island all the time, and many of this oral Democrats.
All I want is I want for people to recognize

(10:37):
a great job that I've done on pricing, on affordability,
because we've brought prices way down, but they go way
lower on energy. On ending eight wars and another one
coming pretty soon. I believe we've done a great job
and I hate to see that deflect from the great

(10:57):
job we've done. I'm all for it, you know, we've
already given fifty thousand pages. You do know that unfortunately,
like with the Kennedy situation, with the Martin Luther King situation,
not to put Jeffrey Epstein in the same category. But
no matter what we gave, it's never enough.

Speaker 7 (11:15):
You know.

Speaker 6 (11:16):
With Kennedy, we gave everything, and it wasn't enough. With
Martin Luther King, we gave everything, and it's never enough.
We've already given. I believe the number is fifty thousand pages.
Fifty thousand pages, and it's just a Russian Russian Russia hoax.
As it pertains that the Republicans now, I believe that

(11:37):
many of the people that some of the people that
we mentioned are being looked at very seriously for their
relationship to Jeffrey Epstein. But they were with them all
the time. I wasn't at all, and we'll see what happens.
What I just don't want Epstein to do is detract
from the great success of the remembered part, including the

(12:01):
fact that the Democrats are totally blamed for the shutdown.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
You know, they cost our country.

Speaker 6 (12:06):
Hundreds of billions of dollars with it, had a lot
of inconvenience.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
So I'm for any I don't take it.

Speaker 6 (12:14):
Do whatever they want. We give them everything. Sure, I
would let this set it, look at it, let anybody
look at it, but don't talk about it too much,
because honestly, I don't want to take it away from us.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
It's really a Democrat problem.

Speaker 6 (12:29):
The Democrats were Epstein's friends, all of them, and it's
a hoax. The whole thing is a hoax, and I
don't want to take it away from really the greatness
of what the Republican Party has accomplished.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
So you know, one of the things that's important about
this is that you've got these these people over on
the left who are not ready for prime time in
any way, shape or form. Jamie Raskin, Robert Garcia, Robert
Garcia from southern California is an absolute loser. And I
can say it because I lived under his regime when

(13:04):
he was doing his thing. But the fact of the
matter is, this is not Donald Trump hiding from any
of this Epstein Island stuff. He's saying, go ahead, go
put it out. But here's what I am demanding. This
is what I Brettwoterble what I am demanding now, Okay,
And somebody's got to pick up the phone and light
the phones up over at the Capitol. You need to

(13:25):
call the Speaker of the House. You need to call
John Thune. You need to call all of those people.
And do you know what I want to see is next?
You know what I want to see next? I want
to see all the documents, every document when they tried
and you know what I mean by when I say

(13:45):
they when they tried to assassinate Donald Trump. We have
to open those records.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
Now.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
You think this little twirpy, disgusting, little little whatever he is,
you think Crooks did this by himself. He was brought
in for this sort of a job. And I want
to know exactly what happened because you know what's gonna happen.
It might come back around again, and we don't want
to see that happen. I'm Brett Winterable. I've approved this

(14:29):
message for most of the program here so far. Seven
oh four, five, seven eleven ten. Okay, I want you
to hear this now. This does not have anything to
do with anything that we're talking about in this regard,
but I want you to understand this is such an
important thing. This is such an important thing. When people
try to tell you, eh, you know, just the system's

(14:53):
gonna work it out. It's gonna be fine, it's gonna
be great. I'm gonna take you to Chicago. I'm not
really gonna take you to Chicago because I don't want
to go to Chicago. But this is a story that
came out of Chicago, and this I'm almost afraid to
play this because of what might come our way in Charlotte.
All Right, I think people are are going to be

(15:15):
shocked by this. So in Chicago, you have a lot
of businesses who have fled the city of Chicago. They
have quit, they're out, they're gone. They've gone to Florida,
they've gone down here, they've gone to other places like that.
But unfortunately they still have to pay the tax. No, no, no, no,
not the companies that flee, the people who live there.

(15:39):
You've got to hear this. This is remarkable, and I'm
afraid it's going to give people a thought or two
here in Charlotte. This is cut number sixteen. Chicago is
gouging the taxpayers.

Speaker 8 (15:54):
Go this month, some homeowners in Cook County in for
a shock when it comes to their property tax bills.

Speaker 9 (16:02):
Some bills going up one hundred percent.

Speaker 8 (16:04):
Cook County Treasure's office did a property tax analysis, and
Treasure Maria pappis.

Speaker 9 (16:09):
Joining me now to talk about that study.

Speaker 8 (16:11):
I really appreciate you being here, Treasure, so let's just
get right to it. I mean, the sticker shock is real.
What did your office find.

Speaker 10 (16:20):
We found that when commercial went down, residences went up.

Speaker 8 (16:25):
Malin you say went up, we're talking by how much
by taxes.

Speaker 10 (16:28):
So it depends upon the neighborhood. Generally, across the city,
everything's up sixteen percent, which is kind of scary, okay,
But in West Garfield Park it's up one hundred and
thirty three percent.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Okay.

Speaker 10 (16:40):
So in African American neighborhood's North Lawndale is up ninety
eight percent and eighty two percent in Englewood.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
So you're saying, how in the world did this happen.

Speaker 10 (16:50):
This happened because the commercial base of the city, all
these high rises, commercial buildings that you see downtown are
unrented because the businesses have left the city.

Speaker 9 (17:01):
And that means they're not paying property tax.

Speaker 10 (17:04):
Yeah, so somebody had to pick it up. So the
residences are picking it up. So if you think about it,
we had just done a study saying that African American
and Latinos don't appeal their property taxes. Only twenty seven
thousand out of the two hundred thousand appealed. So the
residences A aren't appealing. What can you do about it?
We came up with a payment plan calculator. We have

(17:27):
reduced interest rate from eighteen percent to nine. So not
on December fifteenth, the due date, but on December sixteenth.
You can go to my website and set up a
thirteen month payment plan a thirteenth.

Speaker 9 (17:40):
You don't have to pay.

Speaker 10 (17:42):
You don't have to pay on December fifteenth. You can
pay December sixteenth by setting up a payment plan for
thirteen months and that really helps people.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
The next thing that you can do is you need
to vote.

Speaker 10 (17:56):
If you don't like this, you are part of the
eighty percent of the people people who did not vote
in the last election. And I see this every day.
Every day. People are complaining to me and so I'm like,
did you vote no? Did you vote no? Did you
vote no? So you have to appeal as a residence.
You have to get up, get out and vote instead
of complaining. And then the third thing is you need

(18:18):
to read your tax bill at the top of the
tax bill, it says where did your money go? If
you look at where did your money go, what it
tells you is that over sixty percent of the money
in the city of Chicago is going to the Board
of Education. Of course, or in many instances, right up
front it will tell you the tax increment financing district

(18:39):
that it's going to. So where did your money go?
Shows you how much it went up and how much
it went down.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
And lady ladies and gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen, I mean like,
can you imagine? Like can you can you imagine? Oh,
we're going to give you a thirteen month payment plan. Wait,
my calendar's got twelve months. So that means you're going
to be perpetually behind on all the payments because you're

(19:05):
going to have a thirteen a thirteen month program. And
all that money that nobody gets educated with goes to
the teachers' unions. And why do you think it is?
The businesses in Chicago have decided that they need to
get the you know what out of there because the teachers'

(19:26):
unions are shaking them down. This is discussing. This isn't disgusting,
this this this needs to be said in a completely
different way. It's not disgusting. It's disgusting. It is a
disgusting thing to do one hundred and thirteen percent. You
could get better rates from a loan shark than one

(19:51):
hundred and thirteen percent increase. I mean, think like and
who's getting hit. Who's getting hit the hardest? People of color,
African Americans, other people of color, Hispanics, people like that
who do not then go and push back. This is

(20:14):
why we try to warn you. See, I do a
lot of stuff from around the country because I need
you to know what's going to leak into our cities,
into our towns. If you don't think that somebody isn't
listening on this program today, you're out of your mind.

(20:34):
Because I'll tell you what, I just probably gave a
whole bunch of really bad ideas to the city council. Ah,
you know, we can just do a thirteen month payment plan.
Let's just go ahead and put that together and then
shake them all down. No, the problem is the problem
is if you go to the root cause of this,
it's because Chicago became a place that nobody wants to

(20:56):
live in. And so what did they do. They took
their businesses. They but unfortunately you still have to pay
for the kids that may or may not ever materialize
because the unions. I hope Donald Trump in the second
half of his term, in the second half of his
second term, I hope he just goes right at Chicago

(21:19):
and just tries to bust the unions. That's what they know.
You want to know what never goes out of style?
That is, of course, Hancock's Bikes for Kids. You know
what else doesn't go out of style having a bike
for that very first time, So Charlotte, nothing says joy

(21:41):
like a kid getting a new bike for Christmas. And
it's time for Hancock's Bikes for Kids. Please consider bringing
a new bike to WBT on Friday, December the fifth,
from five to nine pm. The wb team will be
here to thank you and your generous donation. It's the
thirty second annual WBT Hancock's Bikes four Kids Benefiting Kids

(22:01):
First of the Carolinas, presented by Garage Door Doctor, Friday
December the fifth, from five to nine pm. Visit WBT
dot com for details and thank you. It's gonna be
such a great night. It always is. It's exciting. People
come from all over and you can just feel the
love in the air. I mean, it's just a phenomenal,
phenomenal way to spend time, especially for these kids that

(22:25):
get so excited when they when they receive that bike,
a bike, you know, a bike, a first bike, second bike,
you know, those are those are things that stick with
you forever, and it's hugely important. I want to make
a comment to Sheldon. Sheldon sent in a couple of missives.
Sheldon says, show you won't mention this on the air,

(22:47):
but weren't parents allowing these girls to go to that
island investigated? No one seems to want to talk about that.
I replied to Sheldon, Uh, you know, we have to
find out who were these these girls who are now women,
and and how did this all come to pass. I

(23:09):
think it's I think it's a very important thing. And
then he said, I thought most of them are under
we're underage. That's true. I think the people who would
like to know if the parents were paid, if not,
was anybody even looking out for them? There's more to
the story, and no one seems to want to cover it.
And then he all caps weak. I don't think he's

(23:29):
calling me weak. I think he's calling everybody week. I
don't understand why he would want to, you know, enrage
the audience that way. But that's that's Sheldon. That's Sheldon's
contribution and I and uh, I would I wanted to
read it out to you guys. This one no name,
no name attached. Uh boy, the sc lottery must have

(23:51):
found a bunch of advertising money that needed spent this day.
Why are we why are we doing? Are we doing
something on I I'm just not familiar with that because
I'm doing my show. I do listen to the commercials.
I just I stepped out for a bit. Maybe I
missed something. Also, also from a caller in Roanoke, Virginia,

(24:13):
as of three point fifty northbound I seventy seven right
lane is blocked with a new accident. So be careful,
folks and pack your patients as as they say here
at the at the station. So that's that's always good stuff.
One of the things that I got. Also, people are saying, hey,
you've got to be careful if you're going to play
this stuff coming out of Chicago, because unfortunately Chicago's going

(24:36):
to bleed into into where we live. Yes, that's absolutely true.
These municipalities are able to kind of take take ideas
from each other. It's it's a pretty pretty remarkable thing,
the way these things happen. Hey, let me give you
another example of just failed governance. This is Cut seventeen.

(24:58):
There's a guy by the name of Carl Mayo. Carl
de Mayo is like one of the Republicans left in
California in the California you know, state House. Listen to
what Gavin Newsom did with three billion dollars Cut seventeen.
Bernie made off step aside.

Speaker 11 (25:15):
Gavin Newsom is about to outdo you. Carl de Meyo here,
state Assembly member and chairman of Reform California. And there
is a massive scandal involving three billion dollars of losses
of taxpayer money in a dubious investment that the state
Retirement Board made at the direction of Newsom and California

(25:35):
Democrat politician. Huh, they gave your taxpayer money to a
Green New Deal investment fund and then lost their three
billion dollars worth of losses, and they won't answer any questions.
That's why today I fired off a letter to the
Trump Department of Justice asking for a criminal investigation. People
need to be held accountable for violation of fiduciary responsibility

(25:58):
if it happened to or any made off. For accountability,
it needs to happen to Gavin Newsom and his cabal
of corrupt cronies and Sacramento that are lining the pockets
of these Green New Deal fund managers at your expense.
And of course, you know, follow the money. Those are
the same investment managers that give campaign contributions to Newsom

(26:19):
and California Democrats. Follow the money, demand an investigation. You
just lost three billion dollars and we need to find
out who did it, why, and how to hold them accountable.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
I want to find out if there was any federal
money in that pile, if there was any federal money
as part of that deal, because we all remember the
bad old days. You guys, remember the bad old days
when Barack Husain Obama was immaculated to the presidency of
the United States. They started doing all these different sort
of you know, deals and things like that. We have

(26:49):
got to find out, you know, who's responsible for losing
all that kind of money. Three billion bucks. That's a
ton of money, three billion for what for what? They
look the most progressive state in the entire country is
consistently failing. What did you pay for gasoline in the
last time you filled up in your car? Because I

(27:12):
just paid to seventy nine to seventy nine for gasoline.
I talked to my friend last week and I said, hey,
what's the gas price by your house? Six twenty six,
twenty six twenty. That's not the airport, that's not the

(27:33):
turning in the the the avis, that's not that six
dollars and twenty cents. That's what they're doing. So Gavin Newsom,
keep it up, man, keep it up. All right. We
need you, We need you to be the face of
the Democratic Party. You literally could not do worse. It's

(27:56):
absolutely remarkable. You know, a Newsom should go move to
Chicago and raise all the taxes and maybe he can
get a seven ten split news Talk eleven ten, not

(28:23):
nine to three. WBT. It's the Brettwinterable Show. It's good
to be with you. Wouldn't you think wouldn't you think
that the governor of the state of North Carolina would
come into uh into Charlotte to see what was going on,
to go talk to the authorities that are that are
here working. Critics call for boycott of Charlotte area company

(28:45):
that provided ice vehicles. Yeah, that's the answer, right there,
Go go take on a legal company that is in
the business of selling vehicles. I mean, this is this
is what is so astounding to me when you think
about what it is that we're seeing. And so I
want to refresh people's memories because you may not remember this,

(29:07):
but you should. All right, this is a very important
thing to sort of take with you. All right, here goes.
When societies fail to enforce the law consistently, they risk
erosion of trust in institutions. High profile cases like Jeffrey

(29:30):
Epstein and Jelayne Maxwell remind us that unchecked power, wealth,
and influence can enable exploitation. If the laws are not
equally applied, the public begins to believe that justice is selective,
which undermines the very foundation of civil order. Now, if

(29:51):
law enforcement is not applied impartially and consistently, society risks
descending into corruption, inequality, and insecurity where the vulnerable are
preyed upon and the power of escape accountability. Why does

(30:12):
enforcement matter? Number One? Safety laws protect the vulnerable from exploitation, violence,
and fraud. Standards hugely important. It's not very much followed anymore.
In this day and age, people do whatever the hell
they want to do. But the fact of the matter
is living by a legal standard creates predictability and fairness.

(30:37):
Enforcing the law discourages future wrongdoing. Legitimacy is the most
important part of this. Without enforcement, laws are mere words
and not living standards. That is the problem. You can
go back to the ancients. You can go back to
Marcus Aurelius. The wrongdoer has done you no harm, for

(31:03):
he has not made your character worse. See Epictetis said,
it's not the things themselves that disturb us, but our
judgments about them. So you can basically walk around and
think some people are just more equal than others. With

(31:25):
apologies to the Animal Farm Book, we have to have
a consistent standard. Now, I understand there are people who,
let's be honest, like the idea of paying people under
the table. Why is that because then they don't have
to pay the full minimum wage. And yet every Democrat

(31:48):
that walks around tells you about how important it is
to raise the minimum wage. Well, if you're a legal
citizen in the United States and you're getting paid a
wage but being undercut by people who are not supposed
to be in the country throughout the entire country, and
they're able to kind of undercut what you're doing. How

(32:10):
is that fair to the American who is following the
rules Again, all those golf courses, all those banquet halls,
all those fun things that people like to do. Are
you paying a fair wage? Are you paying a legal wage?

(32:31):
One hundred and sixty one thousand migrants have been ordered
to leave the United States, and Charlotte is one of
the places that we are looking at today. US Border
Patrol agents are continuing to ramp up efforts in the
latest urban federal immigration enforcement operation at a time when

(32:54):
one hundred and sixty one thousand migrants who have previously
been ordered by a judge to leave the United States
are living in and around North Carolina's largest city. Border
Patrol Commander Gregory Bavino is heading up the federal operation,
which now you've heard about it on through the weekend

(33:17):
and today. Yet, as the case for the previous two
months in Chicago and before that in Los Angeles, Bavino
is facing opposition from elected officials that includes Democrat Governor
Josh Stein, who said the presence of what he calls

(33:38):
masked heavily armed agents driving unmarked cars targeting American citizens
is not making the city safer. Okay, that may be
the case. Why don't you show up in Charlotte and
talk to the people. Talk to the people. Why is
this guy is not ready for prime time? I know,

(34:00):
oh he went to Harvard. I know he's a very
wealthy guy. But the fact of the matter is, this
guy's not ready for prime time. You know what, I'm
gonna tell you something right now, mister governor, mister governor
of the state of North Carolina, I would trade Mandami
for you. I'll send you to New York and you

(34:21):
can be all elite and all that sort of stuff.
Let's bring in Mundami, because Mundami would actually go out
there and talk to the people. Yeah. I don't like Mundami.
I wouldn't vote for Mundami. I'd ever lived in New Jersey,
in New York looking for a Mundami, a modern day Mundami.
But this guy, this governor, this air quote governor, doesn't

(34:42):
have the guts to come into Charlotte and talk to people.
And I'm not talking about just the migrants. I'm talking
about the people who pay the freight. This is what
has to happen. He's gonna hide behind his desk and
he's gonna say, well, at some point I'm gonna come
down and say hello. The Supreme Court is going to

(35:06):
decide the legality of the metering asylum seekers at the
border system. This is going to be coming up very,
very quickly. And I can tell you this right now.
The American people are sick and tired of living through
the Biden administration all over again, because that's basically what
they're offering here in Charlotte, and that's basically what's being

(35:27):
offered in Durham, and that's basically what's being offered in Raleigh.
And they want to try to make a big deal
about a car dealership that sold vehicles so that ICE
or the Border Patrol have the ability to transit continuing
their operations. If that's the problem, that's not the problem.

(35:50):
The problem is we're still living under the Biden administration's
policies and it's enforced by the people here in Charlotte.
It's a problem. We have to figure out how we
follow the law and how if you dislike the law,
you move to change the law. News Talk eleven ten

(36:22):
out of nine three WBT, it's the Brett Winerble Show.
It is great to be with you. Seven oh four
five seven zero eleven ten seven zero four five seven
zero eleven ten. You can reach out to us, by
the way, by the way, if you want to opine
or talk to us, we certainly want to hear from you.
But I just I just want to understand something here. Okay.

(36:44):
So this story that they ran over at the who
was this? This is up in Durham, all right. Critics
call for boycott of Charlotte area company that provided ice vehicles. Well,
first of all, they were I don't think they were provided.
I think they were purchased by the government as border

(37:08):
patrol officers rome Charlotte looking for people to detain and deport.
Some locals are criticizing businesses profiting from the Trump administration's moves.
Two US representatives for months have also questioned whether a
contract between US Immigration and Customs Enforcement and a Charlotte

(37:28):
area company is tied to political contributions made by the
company's owner. Okay, Okay, So here's the thing. I really
don't think that this is anything but above board, because
if you're gonna if you think that this company and
I'm not going to name the company because I think

(37:50):
they have a right to do their business in their
in their in their own regard. If they bought, if
ICE bought, not I I'm sorry. If the Border Patrol
bought twenty five Chevrolet Tahoe SUVs from the company in August,
which isn't now, that's not now, that's not like this weekend.

(38:12):
That that's that's like they bought they bought those vehicles
back in the summer. What what what's the problem here?
You think, like really that you're just going to go
for this kind of to me, I just don't even
understand this. So who are the farms that are supplying food,

(38:36):
Who are the companies that are supplying chef boyarde? Who
are the company?

Speaker 12 (38:41):
You know?

Speaker 1 (38:41):
You know, I mean like we can we can drill
down into all of this sort of stuff here, But
why are you trying to jack up a perfectly great
company who is providing the vehicle?

Speaker 7 (38:52):
Like?

Speaker 1 (38:53):
What what's the issue? What is what is the issue?
You see? They're doing this because it's started on what
it started on Friday night and to Saturday, and this
was going to be the new No King's thing, the
No Kings deal. That's what this is. This is all
just the no Kings thing all over again, and they're

(39:13):
getting the call out. You know, be careful though, Reid
Hoffman apparently he may be in the jackpot at some point.
I mean, there's a lot of problems that are out
there that people are talking about. Let's talk to Alex next. Alex,
welcome to the program.

Speaker 13 (39:28):
How are you doing.

Speaker 1 (39:29):
I'm well, how are you okay?

Speaker 13 (39:31):
I reckon. I just wanted to say, with all the
weird craziness I've heard coming out of the city council,
the mayor of the governor, I mean, it just seems
like that Charlott's get more weird and woke than Ashville.
I mean, Charlotte's turning into like the San Francisco the South.
I guess it's just a matter of time until we
have mounds of human excrement on the side. No, I

(39:52):
don't think that next time you say a mount of
human crap on the sidewalk just considered a monument to liberalism.

Speaker 1 (39:58):
Yeah, well, okay, I appreciate the call, but I don't.
I don't I'm not seeing I'm not seeing people uh,
you know, avoiding their bowels in public and that's a
good thing because I have lived in places where people
did that. That would be called California and sometimes in
New York City. But the fact of the matter is,
we we have we we have no reason, no reason

(40:19):
to be afraid. What what are we afraid of? Seriously?
What are we afraid of? Spencer? Welcome to the program.
What's on your mind? Spencer?

Speaker 3 (40:30):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (40:30):
Well, it's standard operating procedure for the left. Now I'm
not saying that the border patrol or criminals or anything,
but to go after the car company to get back
at the uh police is like going after the gun
companies to get back at the you know, the gun

(40:54):
viot once.

Speaker 1 (40:55):
Yes, yes, that's a good point.

Speaker 7 (40:57):
It's a standard operating procedure.

Speaker 1 (40:59):
It is it is. Okay, Now I got to ask
you a question. Yeah, and I think you know what
I'm gonna ask you about because I haven't talked to
you in a long time. Uh, what's going on with
three I Atlas?

Speaker 7 (41:13):
It's a comment and it's breaking up.

Speaker 1 (41:16):
And what it's breaking? Is it really breaking up?

Speaker 7 (41:21):
One of those there's so many comments up there right.

Speaker 1 (41:23):
Now, where's Haley's comment? Is Haley's comment coming back around
what's going on with this in.

Speaker 7 (41:28):
About six in about fifty or sixty years.

Speaker 1 (41:31):
Oh gosh, wow. All right, well, listen, I'm happy you
called because I always like talking to you, and I
think you bring great analysis. My friend Spencer, and uh
you bring it, you bring it, dog, all right, thank you,
you got it, buddy. You're welcome. We get messages. I've

(41:52):
got some messages. Here we go here, ready, Brett. Since
they're putting out the name of the company that's supplied
the vehicles to border patrol, what about out all these
nonprofits that are basically democratic people running nonprofits and all
the money they get from the government, Well, yes, that's true.
They're doing that too, Robin. Robin has a very good

(42:13):
take as well. Brett, I would like to say, in
response to the clip claiming that it's white privilege, that
there's no ice in south Park. That is not white privilege,
that is class privilege. There are plenty of wealthy people
of different races in south Park. Stop making everything about
race because it just isn't. Okay, Well, okay, so, but

(42:36):
I didn't say did I talk I don't think I
talked about south Park. Oh oh, the news talked about
south Park. Okay, okay, because I you know, I wanted to.
I wanted to make sure everything's okay. Let's see, Nicky says,
I heard that Ice bought their toilet paper at I'm
not gonna. I'm not gonna smirch a company, so I'm
boycotting that grocery. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm

(42:56):
not gonna. I'm not gonna harm. I'm not gonna harm
the good people of the community here. No, we're not.
And I don't think that's true. I'm sorry, I just
I don't think that's that's that's actually true. Charlotte, North Carolina,
has become the Chicago, Illinois on the Kataba River. The
two mayors are essentially the same kind of foolish liberals.

(43:18):
I can't argue that. I'd like to, but I can't.
All right, I'm gonna tip you off. I'm gonna give
you a tip. I'm gonna tip you off on something.

(43:38):
We are going to be giving away tickets from Craft
Body Scare not yet, not yet, but it's for the
incredible Southern Christmas Show at Park Expo and Conference Center.
It's not gonna be now, it's not in this segment.
It will be in the following segment. How about that
seven oh four, five, seven eleven ten. Let's don't call.

(44:01):
Don't call now, you're not going to be able to
do it, Bob, Welcome to the show. What's on your mind? Bob?

Speaker 14 (44:07):
Hey, thanks for taking my call. I just think that
you know, it might be a naive take, of course,
but you know, it's all stems from the gaff not
complying with the orders to turn over felons.

Speaker 10 (44:21):
You know.

Speaker 14 (44:21):
Uh, I think that's where it stems from. Uh. If
the sheriff would just turn over the felonious immigrants, legally,
we wouldn't necessarily need ice in the community. But you know,
of course the left has got us, you know, painted
like we're rounding up school children. Yes, you know, you know,

(44:45):
you know, and and uh, you know, as far as
the what not blockade, the boycotting, the boycotting of businesses,
well that's that's a basic tenet of national socialism is
caught you know, businesses and and and and uh, you know,
things that go against the party wanting you know, uh

(45:08):
national stuff. And what's short for national associate socialism is Nazi.

Speaker 1 (45:13):
Yeah, yeah, that is yeah, that that is that is
that that has happened in the past for sure, Thanks Bob,
I appreciate the call. Let's go to Robert next, Roberts,
how are you?

Speaker 15 (45:25):
Hey, hey, hey, you probably you don't remember me because
you were at the the U in Fort Mille, the
uh the Italian festival.

Speaker 1 (45:34):
Yes, sir, h yes, sir.

Speaker 15 (45:36):
Different perspective. I'm married to a Mexican woman. I went.
I want to get a different perspective. I went through
the whole very expensive, very timely, the immigration process. It
was all worth it. My wife, my Mexican wife, is wonderful, awesome.

Speaker 8 (45:52):
Uh.

Speaker 15 (45:53):
Spent a lot of time and money, like I said,
And we have friends right now. I'm on our third
we're supporting and sponsoring three different Latino couples.

Speaker 1 (46:05):
Wow.

Speaker 15 (46:06):
Doing it the right way.

Speaker 1 (46:07):
Wow.

Speaker 15 (46:07):
So I want to get that perspective.

Speaker 1 (46:11):
So let me let me ask you a question about that.
How much would just rough roughly, how much how long
did it take for your now wonderful wife to have
to clear all the all the all the things that
had to happen more than a year, more than a year, okay,
And the.

Speaker 15 (46:28):
Government messed up and sent the paperwork to the wrong
place and I'll either redo it, got a lawyer, everything else,
and so we finally got it. And then after about
five years, we said, let's let's just go ahead and
do it. Let's get let's get citizenship. She went through
and she was a nervous wreck. One hundred questions about civics,

(46:51):
which most US born people couldn't pass.

Speaker 1 (46:55):
I believe that, I absolutely believe gave her.

Speaker 15 (46:58):
They gave her four questions and she passed all for
she was a nervous right. We had an extremely wonderful
ceremony about citizenship the national anthem Star spangel better the
whole you, with about fifty people from thirty four different countries.
My little five foot two Mexican wife was standing next

(47:19):
to like a six foot five and six foot three
Canadian couple.

Speaker 1 (47:23):
Wow, and they.

Speaker 15 (47:25):
Took our pictures afterwards. What I'm saying is, yeah, basically,
we did the hard work, spent the time and money,
and we feel wonderful. And I was told, if you
don't do it the right way, if you try to
come back and do it the wrong way, you'll spend
a lot of money.

Speaker 1 (47:40):
So let me ask you, let me ask you one
of the questions. Well, hold on, so how much just ballpark?
How much do you think you all had to put
into in terms of the money to get this all
squared away in the right way?

Speaker 7 (47:54):
Here?

Speaker 1 (47:55):
What about this? Tell me about that?

Speaker 15 (47:56):
Well, because of the the US government screw up, this
is two thousand and four, probably about four thousand dollars.

Speaker 1 (48:06):
Wow, that's a lot of money.

Speaker 15 (48:09):
But at the end, she's a wonderful What I'm saying is,
in light of all this stuff going on, I have
family members now nothing in Charlotte. I'm not from Charlie originally,
and here while who are saying to me, hey about
what's going on? They're angry. You should be protesting all
the ice people in Charlotte. I said, are you kidding me?

(48:32):
We did illegally? Do it legally because there's a lot
of people doing a lot of illegal stuff their countries,
like sex, traffic and all that stuff, which really angers me.
And I said, ho, hold on, I can't go to
any other country in the world as a US citizen
without doing something to make myself legal.

Speaker 14 (48:55):
Correct Brett, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (48:56):
It's correct. That is absolutely correct, Yes, and so.

Speaker 15 (49:00):
Why should we allow and not? Again, I criticize the
previous administration for allowing people coming in here.

Speaker 12 (49:09):
Sec.

Speaker 15 (49:10):
I'm in Charlotte, YEP. Sex trafficking is number nine in
the country.

Speaker 1 (49:15):
Horrible. It's it's horrible. It's it's it's and it's and
what people need to understand with sex trafficking and all
kinds of trafficking, but but specifically sex trafficking, you have
to think of them as people who are enslaved like
you would have seen in eighteen sixty five. I mean,
that is that is the problem. That is these people

(49:36):
are being taken for for for the worst of the
worst possible lives that they're going to experience. I mean,
it's it's terrible and until until we decide to get
get right with with that. We got to get right
with right And.

Speaker 15 (49:51):
To your point, is a lot of that is you
come here to have a greade life later.

Speaker 1 (49:58):
Yes, however you.

Speaker 15 (49:59):
Need to do this now. That really really angers me.
So I just want to put that perspective out and
doing it the right way. And every country has legal
laws and just abide by them. So I have again
I'm telling you real quick. I have a family member

(50:21):
who said you should be out protesting. I said, are
you kidding me? No, they're they're rounding up people who
have no intentions of being good to our society. So
thank you for your letting me love it poise this out.
And you've been great.

Speaker 1 (50:40):
You called back any time. Absolutely, it's great to have
you there. Okay, I mean, it's just so wonderful to
talk to you. All right now, I'm getting blasted long
time listener here. You are definitely not living in an
area with most of US citizens. I go to work
and outside my office doors there are huge piles of

(51:00):
human excrement. I moved out of Charlotte due to the
illegals moving into the neighborhood with three or more families
in a three bedroom house. They have backyard parties with
loud mariachi music into the night. Front yards have multiple cars.

(51:20):
This thing is starting to sound like a cliche. Okay,
multiple cars parked on the front lawn. Calls to the
cities and police results in no action. I had to
tell the officer responding to one noise complaint that if
he didn't do something, I was going to have an
amplified noise war with the most aggravating screeching over the
speakers pointed in the direction of the offending neighbors. He

(51:44):
walked away, coming back a few minutes later with the
music stopped and told me to call back if they
turned it back on. Well that's terrible, but it says
here in this piece that you moved out of Charlotte.
So how is your current condition? I'm curious about that.

(52:09):
All right, ladies and gentlemen, Craft Body Scan wants to
send you and your family to the Southern Christmas Show
at the Park Xpo and Conference Center, running now through
November twenty third. The Southern Christmas Show is a unique
shopping experience. Discover the new holiday decor, apparel, toys, treats,
and more that all rhymes with a family pack of

(52:31):
four tickets with me right now. I'm going to give
them to caller number eight, Lucky number eight seven oh four,
five seven oh eleven ten, courtesy of Craft body Scan
and welcoming to the program. My very good friend. Oh
it's Beth Troutman. How are you, Beth?

Speaker 12 (52:49):
Hi, I'm doing great. I loved it. It was like you
just took a deep breath. It was like a ah.

Speaker 1 (52:54):
That's right, that's right. Relief, that's it, It's exactly right.

Speaker 9 (52:57):
Right.

Speaker 1 (52:58):
I'm I am. I am sighing a relief, and this
is a very good thing to do. So what are
you thinking about today? Obviously, we just saw a i
think a four hundred and twenty seven to one vote
in the House of Representatives. This report is now going
to go up to the Senate and then probably to

(53:22):
Donald Trump's pen So what are we thinking about this?

Speaker 12 (53:26):
I just saw a story that the Senate may take
up the vote as early as this evening. I know
that there were Republicans, including Speaker Mike Johnson, who had
some reservations about some of the language in the bill itself.
Wanting he specified in a press conference after the vote
that he wanted to make sure that victims rightly are

(53:48):
protected and whistleblowers rightly are protected. But there is language
in the bill that says that the perpetrators, whether the
release causes embarrassment or political shif or you know, political problems,
that those names will not be redacted according to the
language from the bill that was passed by passed by

(54:08):
the House. But they expect the Senate, and Mike Johnson
said this that he talked with Senator Soon about, you know,
mending the bill in some way, shape or form to
include some language that they felt was missing, and if
that happens, then it has to go back to the
House and pass the House again, which the one Senator
from Louisiana who did not vote to for this bill

(54:32):
said that he would vote for an amended bill if
the Senate did change some of the language that was
in it. But it's a quite remarkable turn of events
when you really think about it, when you think about
the fact that Thomas Massey has been talking about this
for so long, Marjorie Taylor Green talking about this for
so long, and they had to do the petition to
get the vote on the floor, and then President Trump

(54:55):
over the weekend reversed course and said, hey, sign this,
you know, hey, you know, vote vote yes for this,
and promised reporters that if it gets to his desk
he would in fact sign it. But you know, a
lot of questions loom about the about face. You know,
why why he changed, you know, from the campaign trail
to the administration not wanting to release it or saying

(55:18):
there was nothing to release, or calling it a hoax,
then to now saying, hey, vote in favor of it,
I will I will sign it if it arrives on
my desk and it makes you wonder, you know what
the next step is. The bill as it stands now
says that once it is signed by the President, they
have thirty days to release all of this information to

(55:39):
the public. And there's no telling. We were talking with
Mick Molvaney about this on our show on Monday. If
information is released and we start finding out that there
is in fact a client list, and we start finding
out who some of these clients are, and if they
are some of the richest, most powerful people who run
some of the biggest businesses and governments and industries around

(56:00):
the world, what happens, you know, what kind of change ensues?
Do people start boycotting those companies? Obviously I would imagine
those companies don't want to necessarily be do dealings with
those people. What's the fallout? You know?

Speaker 7 (56:13):
Where?

Speaker 14 (56:14):
What?

Speaker 12 (56:15):
Personally? And I know that you know this Human trafficking
has been a passion of mine, has been a project
that has been a focus of mine. I've worked on
three different documentaries about this issue and working to try
to help rehabilitate women and young girls who are removed
from trafficking, but also trying to figure out how to
stop the market, stop the marketplace, prevent and punish the

(56:39):
people who are the ones purchasing, you know, prevent them
from purchasing and punish them for purchasing. And that's what
these people would be. You know, they're the people who
have created the market and societally, If these are the
people that have been running countries and major industries, that's

(57:00):
going to be quite a reckoning.

Speaker 1 (57:01):
It is. And you know, one of the things that
we have to also factor in in this regard is
we have to understand that Charlotte has got a lot
of trafficking issues that are happening, and.

Speaker 12 (57:13):
It's one of the top ones and have been for
a while. And I mean, I'm glad that Fox News
had this conversation yesterday. Number nine in the nation, Charlotte
number one in the state, and it's because of our
access to highways and airports, and it's it's something that
people don't I think realizes right there in their backyard.

Speaker 1 (57:33):
But what they also have to understand at the same
time is, you know, the people who live in white
Landia as I like to call it, they have to
understand that this is a reality. And if you want
to go and try to get the bad people back
into their countries as opposed to being here. You're going
to have to deport people. You're going to have to
send them back. One hundred and eighty one people have

(57:55):
you know, have been have been grabbed, and I don't
think they're doing it randomly, and so there's no shortcut here.
And I again, as I said, the White Landists need to,
you know, kind of calm down and let the bad
people get taken out and let the innocent people remain.
I mean, that's the way I view it well.

Speaker 12 (58:15):
And you know, with human trafficking, American citizens are part
of the problem as well, and we have to be
focusing on people here too. If we're going to stop
this issue, you have to stop people being trafficked into
the country. You have to stop the market of the
people they're being trafficked too. And in fact, we're actually
having a survivor of human trafficking who just released a memoir.

(58:36):
We're having her on the show tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (58:38):
That's great, along with.

Speaker 12 (58:39):
An organization started here in Charlotte by a survivor herself
that helps rehabilitate women and helps them get back on
their feet and helps them find jobs and new career
so that the cycle doesn't repeat, and they'll be joining
us in the nine o'clock hours.

Speaker 1 (58:52):
Great, great to hear that, looking forward to hearing it.
Thanks so much for being on the show today, and
we really appreciate you, my friend. Absolutely great stuff. I

(59:21):
News Talk eleven ten, not nine three WBT. It's the
Brett Winterble Show. Seven oh four five seven zero eleven
ten NBC News with this piece just in the last
couple of minutes. Immigration arrests in Charlotte have sparked fears,
leading businesses to close after immigration officials arrested more than
one hundred and thirty people, Some churches report being half

(59:43):
empty and after school program canceled activities, and one US
citizen said he started carrying his passport. Jonathan Ocampo has
called this southern city home for six years, but after
immigration enforcement descended here over the weekend, the American citizen

(01:00:06):
of Colombian descent said he doesn't leave the house without
his US passport. I'm carrying it on me right now,
he said, which is sad, he told NBC News. Ocampo
said he worries that his father, a citizen who has
been in the country for forty years, could be targeted
because of being Hispanic looking and speaking what he described

(01:00:30):
as very broken English. He says, it's very it's just scary.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, more than one
hundred and thirty people have been arrested since the Border
Patrol began an immigration enforcement push that it calls Operation
Charlotte's Web on Saturday, putting many residents and business owners

(01:00:52):
of the state's largest city on edge. Raleigh, the city
of Raleigh, northeast of Charlotte, was bracing for more arrests
on Tuesday, after the city mayor Janet Cowell confirmed a
Monday phone call that immigration officers from Customs and Border
Protection and Immigration and Customs Enforcement already were on the ground.

(01:01:17):
She said in the call that could start activities as
soon as Tuesday. There would be today that has been
going on. Local law enforcement did not plan to assist.
In a statement issued late Monday, she said, we are
committed to protecting our residents and to following the law. However,

(01:01:38):
a senior administration official told NBC News Tuesday afternoon that
the Border Patrol does not have plans for operations in
Raleigh at this time, and that Gregory Bavino, the Border
Patrol commander at large would continue the operations in Charlotte.
In Charlotte, a popular Latino baker was closed Monday over

(01:02:02):
fears of border patrol activity. Several small businesses in a
shopping center also shut their doors on Monday, after and
immigration authorities were seen smashing the car window of a
Honduran born US citizen, Willie Aciento over the weekend. Aciento
told NBC affiliate WCNC that he was getting breakfast when

(01:02:25):
he noticed immigration authorities chasing two people. Three vehicles then
surrounded his car and agents began asking about his immigration status.
I was scared, said Aciento, who recorded the incident it's
seen on video, staying inside of his car and telling
agents that if they broke the window, they'd have to

(01:02:46):
pay for it. An agent ultimately shattered the window, opened
Aciento's car door, and pulled him to the ground. DHS
accused Aciento on social media of trying to distract officers
so others could evade the law. That's a pretty week,
that's a pretty weak take. DHS spokesperson Tricia McLoughlin said

(01:03:11):
in a statement that those arrested in North Carolina have
all broken the immigration laws of our country. The deployments
in Charlotte are the latest in a string of high
profile immigration enforcement actions that are targeting specific cities across
the country, such as Los Angeles, Portland, Oregon, and of course,

(01:03:33):
most recently, Chicago, where hundreds of people have been arrested
but have not did not have a criminal histories. Ocampo
said he doesn't think Charlotte is unique in being the
focus of federal immigration enforcement. I think they're targeting wherever
there's a strong Hispanic presence, whether it's Charlotte, whether it's Chicago, California.

(01:03:56):
I'm seeing on the news that they're everywhere. Charlotte residents
have reported dozens of sightings of Border Patrol agents, including
one Monday outside the Community Center for Our Bridge for Kids,
a nonprofit group that provides after school programs for refugee
and immigrant students. Several trucks carrying more than twenty Border

(01:04:19):
Patrol agents showed up at the center Monday morning, according
to a witness who shared a video of the scene
with NBC News. The witness asked not to be named
out of fear it would cause retaliation against the business.
It's not known whether anyone was arrested. No children were

(01:04:40):
present at the time, since the programs run in the
afternoons and they were canceled Monday afternoon as a precaution,
the person said. In detailing the immigration arrests in Charlotte,
McLaughlin said some of the detainees have criminal records known
as known gang members, ship, aggravated assault, possession of a

(01:05:04):
dangerous weapon, felony, larceny, simple assault, hit and run, possession
of stolen goods, shoplifting, d U Y d w U I,
and illegal re entry after prior deportation, which is a felony.
So that is the that is the lay of the
land as we as we look at this, I just

(01:05:26):
would would caution people that you would want to make
sure if you can, that you are actually getting the
worst of the worst out of the of the operation.
And so I think you're gonna have to fine tune
a little bit more in terms of your intel. You're
gonna have to figure stuff out. You're gonna have to
do those sorts of things, because the reality is you

(01:05:50):
you are you are not you. You are not necessarily
wanting to upset people who are law abiding citizens who
happened to live in a particular neighborhood. That's something that
we really need to make sure doesn't come to pass
like that because somebody who has a Hispanic name and

(01:06:13):
they are walking down the street and they are Americans,
are Americans, and I know that that's what they know.
But the fact of the matter is, I think you
need to redouble it and make sure you're really getting
the most wanted out on the first run of the game.
All right, get ready, Charlotte. It only happens once a year.

(01:06:35):
The twenty twenty five Charlotte Auto Show is rolling into

(01:07:22):
oh four five seven oh eleven ten is the telephone
number to be giving us your thoughts, your feelings, your
your deals. Listen to this. This is Stephen Miller. This
is cut number fifteen. Stephen Miller's got thoughts on folks
who are coming into cities who are foreign born? Cut

(01:07:43):
fifteen go so close.

Speaker 4 (01:07:44):
To percent of the population of rent controlled housing in
New York City are foreign born. Think about that, in
one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world, forty
percent of rent controlled property are being lived in by
people who weren't even born in the country.

Speaker 1 (01:08:03):
What kind of system is this?

Speaker 4 (01:08:05):
We bring in people from foreign countries and then we
pay to lower the cost of their housing, while people
who were born here have to pay higher prices. So
when President Trump is reducing that migration, that is what's
going to ultimately, along with all these other steps deregulation,
mister Taska is going to bring down the cost of housing.

Speaker 1 (01:08:23):
Well, okay, but is it possible that this is racist?
Is it possible that America is a racist country? Says
Cut number twenty one, Cut number twenty one. Sunny Houstin's
got thoughts, Cut twenty one.

Speaker 2 (01:08:37):
This is a country based on racism. And slavery and
founded in it. There is systemic racism and misogyny. And
there are people that no one I've never met anyone
that raises their hand and says I am racist.

Speaker 1 (01:08:53):
However, there are.

Speaker 2 (01:08:53):
People that seem to be able to look the other
way when.

Speaker 9 (01:08:57):
It comes to racism.

Speaker 2 (01:08:58):
So you have a president who traffics in misogyny, who
traffics in in uh xenophobia, who track fix in sexism,
and one and any one and one against a black woman.
So don't tell.

Speaker 1 (01:09:14):
Me that they've come on the way to go. I
don't really a black woman.

Speaker 2 (01:09:18):
Don't tell me this country is ready.

Speaker 16 (01:09:22):
Hillary Clinton was one of the most qualified.

Speaker 1 (01:09:27):
Leon finished my sentence.

Speaker 16 (01:09:29):
She's qualified, She's more qualified than any man. She's run against,
my opinion, and she lost to a reality talk So.

Speaker 17 (01:09:37):
Home qualifications are not what decided the presidency. Right now
should tell us that there's a lot of factors that do.
And she had years of she was dragged down by
her husband's yaggage to Clinton, this.

Speaker 2 (01:09:49):
Country has only had one black male president.

Speaker 1 (01:09:54):
There's a will hold on a minute, hold on. Did
she say that Hillary Clinton lost because she was dragged
down by her husband? You do know you do know
that Hillary Clinton probably did know that that Bill Clinton

(01:10:16):
was friends with Epstein. I mean, I don't think that
was like a hidden thing. I think they kind of
all knew each other and and they probably spent time
together and talked and did whatever. I mean, I don't
know what it what it looked like. But the fact
of the matter is, yeah, I mean, that's that's that's
kind of a problem. That's kind I mean, that's kind

(01:10:38):
of a that's a very big problem, Bill Maher. This
is an interesting kind of back and forth. Bill Maher
was asked by Patton Oswalt, I'm not a big Patent
Oswalt fan, never really understood that guy. But Bill Maher
was asked, why don't you still go out and do comedy?

(01:11:01):
Why don't you still go out and do shows out
there in the public. And Bill Maher, he seems to
be totally filled up with the with the ability to
not want to go out there anymore. Cut number twenty four.

Speaker 3 (01:11:19):
What do they what did they freak out about gender, race, parenthood, schools, homelessness, crime,
the border, education, Like we were not we stopped being
a scientific people, Like it's not scientific.

Speaker 9 (01:11:40):
But the left certainly stayed scientific.

Speaker 1 (01:11:43):
No, they didn't. How many genders? How many genders? One
hundred and ninety eight genders, two hundred and fifty five genders?
What furries? No, the furry I didn't. The guy, the
guy who tried to kill Trump, he was all in
the furries. And who else was do you remember who

(01:12:04):
else was with the furries? The guy whose name I
will not mention, who killed Charlie kirk okay allegedly killed
Charlie kirk right, because it is until proven guilty. But
that look at Bill Maher. I mean, once upon a
time Bill Maher would be paton Oswalt. He would be like, Oh, yeah,

(01:12:25):
we're on the science side. We're on the side of
the science. Well what science are we talking about? What
science are we talking about? Are we talking about the
science of fauci or are we talking about the science
of what? Like? How are we doing this?

Speaker 12 (01:12:42):
To me?

Speaker 1 (01:12:42):
It doesn't make any sense to me. It's it's just confusing.
I want to hear from Pope Leo. This is cutting
number twenty six. This is Pope Leo on climate change.
Go ahead.

Speaker 5 (01:12:56):
Barriss Agreement has driven real progress and remains are strongest
tool for protecting people in the planet. But we must
be honest. It is not the agreement that is failing.
We are failing in our response. What is failing is
the political will of some True leadership means service and

(01:13:16):
support at a scale that will.

Speaker 1 (01:13:18):
Truly make a difference.

Speaker 5 (01:13:20):
Stronger climate actions will create stronger and fairer economic systems.
Strong climate actions and policies both are an investment in
a more just and stable world. We walk alongside scientists, leaders,
pastors of every nation in creed. We are guardians of creation,

(01:13:42):
not rivals for its spoils. Let us send a clear
global signal together nations standing in unwavering solidarity behind the
Paris Agreement and behind climate cooperation.

Speaker 1 (01:13:54):
The problem is we scapegoat the first world. And when
you scapegoat the first world, first world, let's be honest,
is pretty clean. Like you go to any country, you're
seeing people decommissioning nuclear power plants in California in other
places like that, which I think is a stupid thing
to do. By the way, I think we should have

(01:14:15):
nuclear power as the as the absolute source of all
the energy that we could get. I think it's a
brilliant idea to do that. But if we're talking about
World Economic Forum, if we're talking about Klaus Schwab, if
we're talking about all that kind of stuff, that's a
that's a no. That's a no go zone right there,

(01:14:35):
no go at all. I'll tell you about that straight
Ahead News Talk eleven ten nine nine three WBT. I'm
in a giving mood on this afternoon. We got the

(01:14:57):
Southern Christmas Show. It's abs absolutely incredible. Craft body Scan
wants to send you and your family to the Southern
Christmas Show at the Park Expo and Conference Center, running

(01:15:23):

win a pack of four tickets from me right now,
courtesy of craft body Scan Caller number six. Caller number
six is gonna win these tickets seven oh four five
seven zero eleven ten. Good luck. It's gonna be a blast,

(01:15:47):
ladies and gentlemen, and I can't wait to see what
you're gonna be reviewing it as seven oh four five
seven eleven ten Caller number six. All right, now, let
me take a little dive here. I'm gonnake a little
dive here and I want to I want to look
at a couple of things. More sound. We need more sound.
I'm sorry, but we have to do it. Let's go back.

(01:16:09):
Let's go back to Zoran Mandami. This guy's starting to
ride high in the saddle. He's like, all right, I
got a lot of power. So what if I told
you that Zorahan Mandami one of his uh first first
actions is to try to arrest bb net and Yahoo

(01:16:30):
at the United Nations. Is that possible? Is that even possible?
Listen to Zorhan Mandami cut number eighteen. Go.

Speaker 6 (01:16:40):
You said you would arrest Benjamin Netanyaho based on the
twenty twenty four International Court arrest warrant.

Speaker 1 (01:16:47):
Next you in General Assembly as mayor? Would you do that?

Speaker 18 (01:16:51):
So I've said time and again that I believe this
is a city of international law. What and being a
city of international law means looking to uphold international law,
and that means upholding the warrants from the International Criminal Court,
whether they're for Benjamin eteniaw or Vladimir Putin. I think
that that's critically important to showcase our values. And unlike
Donald Trump, I'm someone who looks to exist within the
confines of the laws that we have, so I will

(01:17:11):
look to exhaust every legal possibility not to create my
own laws to do so.

Speaker 14 (01:17:16):
On the other hand, this is also a world event.

Speaker 1 (01:17:19):
Does that not count a little bit?

Speaker 7 (01:17:21):
Well?

Speaker 1 (01:17:22):
I think we are a global city.

Speaker 19 (01:17:24):
But I also think what New Yorkers are looking for
is consistency in the way in which we talk about
our values and follow through on them. And that's why
I think these warrants from the International Criminal Court they
are worth fully exploring every legal possibility to actually follow
through on.

Speaker 1 (01:17:35):
Dude, dude, you've never had a job, like, you've actually
never had a job. You live in like some super
fancy penthouse with mommy and daddy and all that. I mean,
what are you talking about? Okay, so let me try
this for you, mister never had a job, because this
guy's never had a job, like, he has not had

(01:17:55):
a job. His job is trying to become the mayor
of New York City. Okay. Number one, here's the bad
news for you, sweetheart, and it's this you think you're
gonna arrest bb net and Yahoo in New York City.
I'm gonna tell you this, right now you're gonna get arrested.
You're gonna get arrested by the federal government. And you
want to know why I say that, because I don't

(01:18:16):
think you have any of the qualifications to go out
there and try to have a security clearance. In fact,
that's what Trump should say to them. I'm gonna give
you a security clearance over a period of time, and
if it looks like you're just another one of these
little snot nosed people, then you know what's gonna happen.

(01:18:36):
We're not gonna give you the We're not gonna give
you the briefings. You don't get the briefings anymore. You're
not gonna find out what's going on. I'll just give
it right to the to the FBI in New York City,
and they can handle things. And you don't have to
have you don't have to have Jack Squat or any
of that sort of stuff. But here's the other thing.
Here's the other thing, Mandami. So are you telling me

(01:18:56):
that if you get presented with a warrant, right, let's
say from the Iranians that the Iranians are going to
attempt to arrest Donald Trump, and if he's at the
United Nations, Mundami, are you going to arrest Donald Trump
on a flim flam sort of of of a attempt

(01:19:20):
to try to take him into custody with the Iranians?
Is that what you're going to try to say? Is
that what you're going to do. See, this is a
very silly young man who doesn't understand the ways of
the world. And it's unfortunate because if you look at
some of the people that he's running with now, they
are becoming much more radical. He was all mister smiles

(01:19:47):
all that sort of stuff when he was trying to,
you know, win the votes over and he's trying to
be endearing and all that kind of stuff. Well, here's
the thing. The minute this guy gets brought into the
Gracie Mansion, he's gonna have a meeting with Donald Trump,
and I think Donald Trump is gonna lay the law down,
and I think he's gonna say something to the effect of, listen,

(01:20:07):
you're not going to turn this city into a mess.
It is. It is a colossal jewel in a big way.
Business is done here. Trillions of dollars are flowing through
New York City and we're not going to let you
little intern man go about the wreckage of New York City, period,

(01:20:29):
full stop. And I'm sorry, but I'm really tired of
these amateur socialists or amateur communists coming in and wrecking
perfectly good cities. Whether it's Brandon Johnson in Chicago, whether
it's places in the Carolinas, whether it's in New York City,

(01:20:49):
whether it's in Baltimore or I want to be respectful, Baltimore.
You know, all of these places, These are great cities.
Why is it that when these socialists get a little
bit of power they feel like they have to destroy
beautiful cities that have a huge heritage. What is it

(01:21:10):
about you, communists? What is it about you guys that
you want to destroy everything? I know it's your nature.
I'm sorry, it's terrible. This is why I want to
put on a ballot someplace, the outlawing of communism. I
want somebody to put that on a ballot. We have

(01:21:30):
outlawed communism, period, full stop. If we catch you being
a communist, you are not going to be allowed to
go to the beach. You're not allowed to go to
the beach. If we see you at the beach, we're
going to make you take one of those sticks and
pick up all the litter that's around the beach. At

(01:21:50):
the hottest part of the day, News Talk eleven ten
nine three WBT, It's the Brett Winterbule Show. All right,
so we got we got some people calling in on this.
All right, here we go, Brett. It's Mike Daisy. It's

(01:22:14):
a message from Mike Daisy on the uh on the
the done the thing on the transom. He says, hope
you're not upset that I'm agreeing with you, Dah, I
should go buy a scratch scratch off ticket. But I
think you're absolutely correct by suggesting to CBP that they

(01:22:34):
should use extra caution in trying to apprehend the worst
of the worst. It doesn't seem like that's where they
are doing. Uh that that's Mike's comment. Nobody disagrees with
targeting and getting violent criminals. They would be a lot
more effective and more open communications both with the public

(01:22:57):
and especially CMPD. Okay, Mike, come on, I was born
at night, but I was not born last night. Uh.
There is no way CMPD wants to be as a
part of this thing. Just like the alleged fellows who
are in charge of the jails, they want they don't

(01:23:18):
want to be part of any of that. They don't.
They don't because at some point, let's be honest, you
and I both know a Democrat will come into office
at some point and they will they will open the
floodgates wide open, and these people want to keep their jobs.
So that this is, this is why this mission that
these guys are on is A is A is A

(01:23:40):
is a difficult mission. Number one. Number two. Sometimes sometimes
you can catch more people with honey than vinegar. Okay,
so maybe you start, uh, you start delivering the money
around and people will say, hey, you know what, you
know what I think. I happen to know what this

(01:24:02):
guy's about, and uh, I'm I'm gonna be anonymous. Uh
why don't you Why don't you take this guy into
custody and then you'll figure it out. I mean it's look,
it's at some point at some point, either the bad
guys are gonna start shooting, which is horrible, we've seen that, uh,
or or or they're gonna they're gonna just continue to
do the bad stuff that that exists right there. Uh,

(01:24:24):
this is this is a very very clever take Brett.
Remember the F in communism stands for food. That's true,
because I did just outlaw communism. I I just outlawed communism.
And so if you're if you're still practicing communism, no good,
no good. You got to stop it. I've I've banned it.

(01:24:46):
No not just on not just on this program. It's banned.
I've I've taken the power. Hello, Brett, I hope Trump
doesn't invite Mondam to the White House. I'm sure he
still has let's see, Okay, I'm gonna read this. Hello, Brett,

(01:25:09):
I hope Trump doesn't invite Mandami to the White House.
I'm sure he still has his office in his tower. Yes,
he does, he still has his office in his tower.
I look, I think, look, it's it's it's even Mundami's
house as well. I mean right, it's the it's the
it's the White House. And so where do you do
you bring people in? Like I just watched today the

(01:25:31):
Crown Prince of of Saudi Arabia who's going to be
the king of Saudi Arabia at some point. And this guy,
this guy's got he's got a lot going for him.
I mean he he does all the ugliness of the
of the old of the olden times, that were going
on over there. At this stage of the game, Trump

(01:25:52):
and him have a relationship that I think will benefit
the region between now in twenty twenty eight. Okay, I
do think that that's that's going to happen. I think
we are going to see some measure of peace in
that region. And one of the reasons why you want
to have the Crown Prince to be there is because

(01:26:13):
you want him to be the guy that's going to
be able to talk to all the other countries saying
if you mess this up, you're going to be sorry.
Do not wreck this. We have a chance to do
something very very important, stan Stan says. Mandami just admitted
that he considers NYC to have seceded from the US

(01:26:36):
and is now a city of the world, governed primarily
by international law and not the US Constitution, of course.
But he's a he's a he's a socialist, leftist. He
thinks that anyways, like he doesn't have to be the
mayor think he thinks that for whatever person, for whatever purpose,
there's no surprise in that in that regard at all.

(01:27:00):
Who else have I got here? Utopia is a personal thing.
You can't legislate it. That's true. Also, what else do
I have here? We have to start calling out these
people crying racism. It's enough, but it's what they do.
They just they just talk about racism. I mean, it's

(01:27:20):
just that's the challenge of the time, right, this is
what we have. These are also the same people you
have to understand who are going to the no Kings events.
No kings. I've never lived under a king. I will
never live under a king. And I'm happy to be
a freeborn man who is not going to be a
communist nor live under a king. So I mean, I'm sorry,

(01:27:43):
you're gonna have to deal with that. What else we
get here? Okay, here's another one, really good from Ian.
If Trump invites mom Dommy to the White House, he
better nail everything down first. Wait, wait, hold on, is
that like potentially Mandami's going to try to go after

(01:28:04):
the president like with a with a with a weapon.
That's listen. I've seen Mandami. Okay, I have seen Mandami.
I have watched him. I watched all the debates that
they were doing in New York City. First of all,
here's my assessment. All right, I don't think the guy
could throw a softball. I don't think the guy could

(01:28:25):
throw a tennis ball. I don't think the guy could
throw a baseball. I really don't think that he's any
kind of a threat. I think, in all seriousness, and
I hope that he realizes that the socialist model is
something you can use to kind of grease the skids

(01:28:46):
so that people want you to do your thing. But
I got to tell you, in all honesty, the fact is,
the fact is he's he's not a danger. He's going
to realize hard and fast when he has to deal
with a whole bunch of very ugly ombres around uh
New York City and environs. He's gonna have to adapt.

(01:29:08):
He's going to adapt. He's going to adapt. Yes, this
is a very good point. And I and I'm with
you on this, no doubt about it. I don't know
who sent me this message, but this is a great message.
He says, you live under one king. You are a Christian.
Yes I am, I was thinking in the secular world.
But even that they I am still I am still

(01:29:31):
governed in the secular world by the king. And the
only king that I will bow my will bow my
knee to is is God in Christ and Holy Spirit.
