Speaker 1 (00:18):
News Talk eleven ten, not a nine to three WBT.
It's the Brettwaterable Show. It is great to be with you.
Seven oh four five seven zero eleven ten. And uh
so many big stories are out there happening right now.
I'm just I'm amazed by the stuff that we've got,
uh and we've got a whole bunch of great things
that are gonna be covered over the course of the
next almost three hours seven o four five seven oh
(00:40):
eleven ten, seven oh four five seven zero eleven ten.
I'm expecting at three point thirty five or so, Michael
Watley's gonna jump in. We're gonna I'm gonna ask him
some questions. And in between now and then and all
that we certainly are are are looking at that big
stories that are In fact, I want to start with
(01:02):
something that I think is a hugely important thing and
it hasn't really gotten enough enough look in terms of
what it is that's happening out here. Okay, I don't
know if you know this, but but do you know
that the United States of America in twenty twenty five, right,
so it's currently twenty twenty five, we are twenty four
(01:27):
percent of global GDP of the world. We are a
quarter of the global GDP. We have seven hundred and
fifty military bases. Leadership in technology and culture sustain its
(01:50):
global influence. This is a piece by a guy named
Frank Rodriguez. Frank Rodriguez, former US Secretary of State Madeline
Albright or Alldopey, once said we are the indispensable nation,
referring to the USA. The late journalist Carlos Alberto Monteyner
(02:18):
commissioned somebody to write a book, and his idea was
that the book was needed to inform the world about
the unique contributions of the United States to the rest
of the world. He thought that all one hundred and
seventy four embassies and consulates and the other ninety eight
(02:39):
freestanding consulates around the world would want to gift the
book to VIPs and others. He also thought that the
United States government would want to publicize and sell the
book worldwide, as recently as the State Department's Office of
Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs had been established in the
(02:59):
wake of nine ele So this is about America being
an unbelievably strong effort in the world. Now, when you
think about this, okay, when you think about this, there
is nobody even close to the United States. It's just
(03:22):
not it's impossible. The United States ranks number one in
the twenty twenty five Global Firepower Index, placing it at
the top among one hundred and forty five countries that exist.
We're number one. The US military has one point thirty
three million active duty troops and about seven hundred and
(03:47):
ninety thousand reserve and national guards, totally about two point
one million. When you look at this, when you consider this,
we are the indispensable nation. And here's the dirty little secret.
China is not even close. They're not even close. They're
a bandit country. I mean they really are. They're a
(04:10):
bandit country. They steal technology, they steal every sort of
bit of stuff that's out there. It is really remarkable
when you think about what they do and how they
do it. Nobody is clamoring to go to China and
(04:32):
set up a household and spend time and do all
that sort of stuff. Nobody is pushing for that. Not
a single solitary person is ready to do that. Why
Why Because we are the leaders in the world, and
this is the problem that we have. The people in
(04:57):
the democratic Republican. I'm sorry, the Democratic Republic of Democrats.
Those people think that America is the problem. Like when
you talk to these people, they will tell you that
America is the problem. By the way, has anybody seen
(05:21):
how dare you? How dare you? Greta Tunberg? Since the
Hamas War is over, where's she at? She was riding
around on a boat. She was going around on a boat,
and now she is fundamentally broken and irrelevant. Think of
all of the people that are irrelevant at this stage
(05:44):
of the game. It is remarkable. It is incredible. Here
let me give you two idiots, two idiots, JB. Pritzker
and John Bolton. This is cutting number eleven. Check this out,
go cut eleven.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Joe Biden is fighting for a peace in the Middle East,
is fighting to end the hostilities between Israel and Gaza.
It's Joe Biden that's standing for peace and a lasting
piece at that. And it's the Republicans that, frankly, would
stoke the flames of war in the Middle East.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
We're going through that kind of crisis. I think now
in the Middle East there are a lot of decisions
that have to be made.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
I don't think Trump is capable of making the decisions.
Two dopey morons, Two dopey morons. Joe Biden actually congratulated
Donald Trump on getting peace in the Middle East. Yeah,
what else could he possibly say? Barack who say? Obama said, well,
(06:50):
this is a very interesting turn of an events. This
is how you change things up. This, this is how
you change this. I'm going to give you another example
very quickly. This is cut number fifteen. This is Dana
Bash and John King. And they couldn't have had it
(07:10):
more wrong back in the day in May of twenty
twenty five, Cut fifteen.
Speaker 4 (07:16):
The premise of this whole conversation was an expectation that
Donald Trump himself set in the campaign, which is, I'm
going to fix all of this, and a lot of
people believe that. It turns out even the Hamas terrorists
apparently who were holding hostages.
Speaker 5 (07:32):
Yeah, they wanted uh who terrorists?
Speaker 6 (07:35):
We're afraid of Trump?
Speaker 7 (07:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (07:36):
They wanted Kamana to be chosen to.
Speaker 6 (07:40):
Have you talked to politics with them.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, they wanted Kamala to be elected.
Speaker 4 (07:45):
The war is definitely not over, and not all hostages
are out.
Speaker 5 (07:49):
Not all hostages are out.
Speaker 8 (07:50):
And again another thing that Donald Trump said would end.
But the rest of the world they're saying Donald Trump
cannot be trusted on these issues. Where America used to lead,
there is American leadership here. It's that Yahu, do it
whatever you want. It's not how do we end this?
Where's an American president to try to figure this out? Well,
we just want Skaza empty. It's well, I think it's
the same idea.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
What we were talking about with Ukraine is that he
didn't understand why it wasn't being done before he was there.
Then he got into office and realized, wow, this is
really really hard, and now he's turned his attention elsewhere.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
So CNN needs to shut itself down. John King is
a clown. Dana Bash is a NEPO baby. Come on,
you guys are not any longer relevant to anything that
we are seeing. Okay, so you got all the hostages
(08:54):
coming back, get all this stuff going on. What is
CNN got going soon? Deadline for press to sign pledge
to follow Pentagon rules. Okay, that's what everybody wants to
talk about. That's the most boring topic you could possibly
come up with, because you and I both know that
they leak leak twenty four to seven three sixty five
(09:15):
and who cares? Who cares? But oh, Barbara Starr is
sitting there. What is Barbara Starno? What is she doing?
She gotta be digging up real stories. But I got
a real story here, and I'm telling you, I'm proud.
I'm proud of our of our Secretary of the Treasury,
a guy who is amazing, and Scott Bessant. Bessant tells
(09:38):
The Financial Times that struggling China wants to pull everybody
else down with them because China, how does he say it, China, China,
China is very upset. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant accused China
(10:02):
of trying to weaken the global economy by slapping export
controls on resources for vital technology. In an interview with
The Financial Times, Besint said the moves over rare earths
and minerals are an attempt by China to pull everyone
else down with them. Down, down, down, down down. If
(10:24):
they want to slow down the global economy, they will
be hurt the most. The move by China comes just
ahead of a scheduled meeting between President Trump and China's Shijinping.
In an October ninth announcement, Beijing said it won't allow
(10:47):
the export of rare earth minerals for military use, the
first time it has targeted that specific use. The United
States uses rare earth magnets for many of our most
important weapons, including the F thirty five warplane and the
Tomahawk missile and smart bombs set up. Trump has responded
(11:11):
with one hundred percent tariffs on Chicom goods starting November first,
and has threatened to cancel the meeting with She. Markets
have been volatile since the dispute escalated, with Wall Street
stock averages down sharply for the day and all that
sort of Okay, this is what's important for you to understand.
(11:31):
Do you remember the last time Gordon G. Chang came
on the program with me, It was about two weeks ago,
and I asked him a direct question about this meeting.
Because Shi Jinping's worldview is people don't go and visit
(11:51):
the United States. People visit China from the United States.
And it's a it's the idea of having Donald Trump
look like he is going to go over to talk
to him, to talk to she, and it's gonna make
Donald Trump look like he's subordinate to she. Because you
(12:12):
know she will not come to the United States. He
refuses to come to the United States. And once upon
a time people were saying, oh gosh, why doesn't he
want to come? Is he afraid of getting assassinated? Is
afraid of getting Kude Todd is something like that? No, no, no,
no no. He believes and the leaders in China believe
that they are superior to the United States of America. Okay,
(12:32):
that's what they believe. And so for Donald Trump to
go over there, even if he goes over to South
Korea with that pink Okami leftist, a person who's running
South Korea right now. This guy's a total knit wit
who is in love with people like Shi Jinping and
(12:53):
of course a little rocketman. So what happened in the
last forty eight hours? Tell me what happened in the
last forty eight hours. You know what happened in the
last forty eight hours. Donald Trump went over to the
Middle East, got the deal cut for Hamas right, So
you've got a whole new setup now, hostages coming out,
(13:16):
bodies expected to come out as well. But here's the thing.
Did you see what happened yesterday at Charmel Shake sounds
like a delicious meal. But it's a location there in Egypt,
and every single one of these people who came to
(13:39):
talk to Donald Trump, and Donald Trump played the game
and did all the sort of stuff you had to do.
And guess what, Now, Shijinping can say, oh, look, I'm
so I'm so large and in charge. I'm large and
in charge. That's right, except the whole world's that Donald
(14:00):
Trump's the guy running the show. Now, I'm gonna tell
you this right now. I believe that that's part of
the strategy that he was going with that move was Hey, okay,
I'm gonna go cut that deal, and I'm gonna go
and and meet all these other people. And he can
try to pretend that you know that he's the king
of the world. But you know what, too bad, how
(14:21):
sad call your dad? Which I think is great. You see,
Joe Biden would have gone over there with hat in hand.
Remember he chased Hi. Remember he chased He was trying
to run all around the woods with with Shi jin Ping.
When she Jen Ping came to San Francisco, Oh my gosh,
(14:42):
it was embarrassing. And then remember what happened when Shijin
Ping ignored Joe Biden, and Joe Biden went walking into
the Amazon and all that kind of stuff. I mean,
there is no way that Donald Trump's gonna go trapesing
through the Amazon. He's not going to go in there
and get leeches on his feet and all this kind
(15:04):
of stuff. He doesn't do that. He doesn't have to
play that game. And maybe a delicious meal in some
places in the world. But the fact of the matter
is the United States of America is the premiere country
in the entire world. And that's the important point here.
We are back in business. We are right on where
we should be. We are strong, we are large, we
(15:26):
are in charge, and we understand what comes next. You
want to know what comes next? Anybody, Isaac, you got
to guess. Lannie, you gotta guess. I'll tell you what
comes next. I'll tell you right now anything we want
and never before. Noon News Talk eleven, ten, nine nine
(15:57):
three WBT. It's the Bretwitable Show, and it is my
pleasure to welcome back to the program. He's the candidate
for the Senate seat in North Carolina. It is Michael
Wattley joining us here. Thanks so much for making time
for us today.
Speaker 9 (16:14):
Yes, sir, good to be on with you. Brett.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
It's good to be on with you as well. I'd
be remiss if I didn't just start out looking at
what we saw in the last forty eight twenty four hours,
watching what President Trump was able to put together this
hamas win your reaction to all of the stuff that
you've seen in this last twenty four to forty eight.
Speaker 9 (16:37):
Hours, It is absolutely remarkable what happens when you have
a president who is going to use the full force
of the United States, the force that we have militarily,
the force that we have in terms of being the bright,
shining white on a hill and focusing on getting those
hostages released, being able to pull the rest of the
(16:58):
world along, and getting their support for this deal. Nobody
else could have gotten this done other than President Trump.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
And yet it seems to be lost on so many
of these Democrats who are part of the shutdown caucus here,
who don't want to, you know, offer up the great
you know, gratitude and all that sort of. So obviously,
you know, there are a few that have that have
picked up that mantle a certainly Fetterman and other folks,
(17:26):
But what about this and and how how can this
possibly be anything but a great week, a great month,
and a great year. What are your thoughts on that?
Speaker 9 (17:37):
Well, this is the most transformative presidential term of our lifetime.
Donald Trump keeps delivering wins. The Democrats just are beside themselves.
They oppose the man and every single thing that he does.
It's amazing that they will say it is a good
thing that the hostages were released, and they won't give
him credit for it. There's no question. Just ask everybody
(17:58):
in Israel, ask everybody in the Middle East, ask every
world leader that was at that conference. Who brought this about?
It was Donald Trump? And he has their gratitude, he
has their respect, and he has their strength and things.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
And obviously you had a very close relationship with him.
He's endorsed you. And I'm sure that you know you
saw how hard he was working to try to get
these hostages back, to try to balance the most dangerous
part of the world, to try to bring them all back.
Can you can you give us a little sense of
what that commitment looked like there in the Oval office?
Speaker 9 (18:34):
Well, and go back to who were the people that
he put in charge? Right, So, Steve Wincoff, Marco Rubio,
Jared Kushner, this is the a team that they were
fundamentally focused on making sure that we got these hostages home.
And he never took his eye off that ball.
Speaker 5 (18:49):
And you could see.
Speaker 9 (18:50):
Every single time that he was having conversations with world
leaders that this was an issue that he wanted to
get resolved. Donald Trump said promised during the campaign that
he was going to get those hostages home. Promises made,
promises kept.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
Yeah, indeed, that is that is the the fact, and
people are are looking at all of this stuff. In fact,
there's a there's a there's a crawl on the screen
on CNN of all things that says it's a quote
from President Trump hamas must disarm or we will disarm them.
This is not going to be an easy ride.
Speaker 9 (19:23):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
And you've got to have somebody there who's really committed
to making sure that this this cannot ever happen again.
Speaker 9 (19:31):
Yeah, no question about it, you know. And and and
really truly, when we look at peace through strength, this
is a perfect example of it.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
Uh.
Speaker 9 (19:39):
The United States is going to back Israel. We are
going to have peace in the Middle East. Uh. And
the American strength is going to be an essential factor
and having a president who is willing to utilize that
strength or good is absolutely essential in terms of our
leadership around the world.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
Visiting with Michael Watley can for the Senate seat coming
up in this next cycle. Let me ask you this,
Charlie Kirk, today would be his birthday. He is being
honored by the President with the Medal of Freedom. Your
thoughts about this, but also I know that you spent
(20:20):
a good amount of time with him talking and things
like that. Can you break that down for the audience here?
Speaker 9 (20:26):
Well, Look, President Trump would not be in office today
if it weren't for Charlie Kirk and the organization that
he built at turning Point. The focus that he brought
to the youth vote to working on college campuses is
something that is going to be extraordinarily difficult, if not impossible,
to replicate. The President knows how much he owes Charlie Kirk.
(20:48):
I know how much he owes Charlie Kirk. I had
a great opportunity to work with him over the course
of the last several years. I consider him a friend
and he is absolutely deserving of the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
I think it's absolutely appropriate that the President is doing
this on Charlie's birthday. It's it's a great day for
(21:08):
for Charlie and his family, and a great day for
the Turning Point community.
Speaker 1 (21:13):
And alas you know, I sit back and I think
about what could have been and what the great successes
could be. But the reality is, uh, this is a
man who was committed to loving this country, loving his family,
and loving his God. And that's such a such a
hugely important point in that regard. I want to go
(21:34):
back to the to the Schumer shut down here because
you would be in the United States Senate. We see
these shenanigans that go on with with all of these
people playing games out on the left that they're getting
ready to do one of these No King's rallies and
all sort of stuff like that coming up at the
end of the week. Is is is it going to
(21:57):
be a very difficult move in that regard because when
you look at this, you've got people who are playing
playing for keeps and really going after it. Your thoughts
on what we're seeing, especially with the folks who are
going to be suffering because Chuck Schumer doesn't want the
government to be open.
Speaker 9 (22:15):
Yeah, it's absolutely disappointing to see the Democrats who have
absolutely no agenda other than opposing the president, playing games
with people's paychecks, paying playing games with our soldiers, our
men and women in the uniform, the people who protect
the border. When we talk about food stamps, we talk
about the with programs, we talk about FEMA relief for
(22:38):
the mountains. And right now, Chuck Schumer and the Democrats
are simply playing games because they opposed President Trump. They
do not want to see the government moving forward and
protecting our interests because they would rather just be in
opposition mode. If the President is for it, there against it.
(22:59):
And we need make sure that we have a Republican Senate.
We also need to have a Republican House to be
able to work with President Trump and move forward with
the American agenda.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
And look, we understand that there are all sorts of
folks that are going to be serving in a variety
of the different sort of capacities. Right you have people
who are going to be working with Michael with the
Chairman of the Budget Committee, and things like that. All
of those things have got to happen. There are show
(23:30):
horses and there are workhorses. And I fear that Roy
Cooper is wanting to be a show horse but not
a workhorse. What does that look like in that regard, Well.
Speaker 9 (23:45):
Roy Cooper is going to be a rubber stamp for
Bernie Sanders, for Chuck Schumer, for aoc Zarnmandanni and the
rest of the Democratic leadership. Right now. He is going
to be absolutely locksteck with him. We have seen that
through all of the votes that he took as a legislator,
through his vetos, through his executive orders. He is going
to fight harder for illegal aliens than he is for
(24:08):
American citizens. He's going to fight harder for criminals than
he is the victims. He is going to fight all day,
every day for San Francisco, Chicago, and New York values,
not North Carolina values. That is not what North Carolina
needs in the Senate. They need an ally for President
Trump who is going to fight for the America First
agenda and put North Carolina first. I am going to
(24:28):
be that voice.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
And obviously I'd be remiss if I didn't mention obviously
the good news that came down the pipe, which was
the Arena's Law coming in making sure that these sorts
of these sorts of horrible criminal acts that have taken place,
should should never happen again. And I know you had
a thought on that law and order sort of stuff.
Speaker 9 (24:52):
Well, look, I think it's very safe to say soft
on crime. Royer Cooper and his policies are the direct
reason why Irena Zaroska was killed on that car. The
fact that he signed in executive order to reimagine law enforcement,
create cashless, veil, create pre trial release are the reasons
that this guy, to Carlos Brown Jr. Was on the
(25:15):
streets and why he was on that car in a
position to kill her. It is absolutely inexcusable that Roy
Cooper brought that soft on crime policies to North Carolina.
Thank god that the legislature answered my call to pass
legislation and roll back those soft on crime policies. But
you know, we are seeing in case after case after
(25:36):
case in Charlotte where murderers, attempted murderers, violent criminal felons
have been released over the years, the chickens have come
home to roost in terms of Roy Cooper's policies, and
I'm very glad the legislature has stood up to roll
those back and try and bring some sanity back to
our criminal process.
Speaker 1 (25:56):
Michael Wattley. We always appreciate the time with you getting
your perspective on these sorts of things. Where do people
go if they want to follow you and catch up
with you and maybe support.
Speaker 9 (26:07):
You Michael Wadley dot com. They can also follow me
on at Wattley MC and definitely appreciate you and your listeners.
Speaker 1 (26:16):
Brett, thanks so much. We appreciate your time today, and
again it's a it's a good week here. We got
we got the hostages back and it's just it's it's
absolutely incredible. Thanks so much for your time today, sir.
All Right, by the way, thanks again to Michael Watley
(26:36):
coming by. Ah gosh, Isaac is begging for this piece
of sound. I gotta play it all right, get ready
cut number twenty one. Isaac wants to hear Tish James
can't get enough Tis James cut twenty one, please go.
You see.
Speaker 10 (26:52):
I know what it feels like to be attacked for
Jeff doing your job. But I also know what it
feels like to overcome adversity. And so I stand on
solid rock.
Speaker 11 (27:16):
And I will not vow.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
I will not break.
Speaker 10 (27:20):
I will not then, I will not capitulate.
Speaker 12 (27:24):
I will not give in I will not give up.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
You come for me. You gotta come to all of us.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
So all of.
Speaker 11 (27:47):
Us, so everything go, all of us.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
We're all in this together. Okay. So I think you
should know something. So that's Tiss James. And that was
at the Mundami rally last night. I'm calling an audible
with the lion Isaac. Cut number twenty two. Mandami is
(28:14):
so bad. He's just it's not good. It's just terrible.
Cut number twenty two. Please go. There is nothing because
illegal or radical. You believe that no one is above
the law. So we thank you, Tish.
Speaker 5 (28:38):
We have your bag.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
And we say too, Donald Trump, that if you want
to get to the Attorney General, you are going to
have to get through every single one of us, drugged
(29:02):
out maniacs and homeless people. Donald Trump has nothing to
do with the persecution, prosecution or whatever cution that that's
happening here. Like she tried to steal five hundred million
dollars from him. I mean, if you think about it,
that's what happened. And and the banks all said that
(29:24):
he didn't. He paid everything back. There was no crime there,
none of that sort of stuff. And I'm telling you
this is gonna be wait till you hear this next hour,
because I'm gonna start on right out of the box
on this next hour. Because there's a guy by the
name of Sam and Tar. Okay, Sam and Tar. Sam
(29:47):
and Tar is a He is a how would I
describe him? He's a forensic accountant. Okay. He's also somebody
who is in the Big House. He was in the
Big House. And I think he is Crazy Eddies. I
(30:08):
think he's Crazy Eddie's brother, Crazy Eddie from New York
City back in the day. So Sam Antar is going
to break this down and it's way worse than anybody
could even imagine. Tiss James is in serious hot water,
(30:32):
serious hot water. But I want to go back to this,
this whole thing. Why are these why are these collectivists,
these socialists, these commies? Why do they repeat the met
like for example, Isaac, I want to play cut number whatever,
and then you would say, oh, Brett, You're going to
(30:53):
play cut number whatever, And that's just a really weird thing.
I really can I just can I just say something here?
I can It's my show. Communists are exhausting, like really exhausting.
They have to all get together in a collective. I
understand that's how they kind of roll. But they have
(31:14):
to get all together with a collective, and they gotta
come around and they've got to like, Okay, this is
not justice. This is not justice. This is not a
good sandwich. This is not a good sandwich. These people,
I don't understand the chanting, the incantations, the things that
(31:35):
they have to do. Is it? Is it because they're
trying to say, listen, we have nothing else we can
possibly offer you except theatrics, theatrics on the steps of
a building. What is the point? I know it goes
back what they're what they're hearkening back to a lot
(31:56):
of people who may not even have been born yet
would during the economic crash that occurred in the bad
old days. Remember, these people were all sitting around in
their filth in Lower Manhattan and they were defecating and
peeing on the sidewalks and all those sorts of things,
and they were trying to get rid of capitalism in
(32:18):
New York City. Good luck, You're not going to get
rid of capitalism in New York City. You're not going
to get rid of capitalism in Charlotte. You're not going
to get rid of capitalism in Boston or Los Angeles.
Because people like money, They actually like money. You know
what they don't like. They don't like smelly people who
were repeating the messaging over and over and over again.
(32:43):
What we should all say, what we should all say
is get out and get a job. Is get out
and get a job, because we are because we are tedious,
sick of fans. Tedious fans. Now open up the newspaper,
(33:04):
open up the newspaper and look for a job. Oh
you didn't like that. My name is Brett Winterble. I
(33:28):
do Talk Radio seven oh four five, seven eleven ten.
Good to be with you. Okay, we're gonna get the good,
the bad, and the ugly in here. Okay. I want
everybody to be ready to understand what we're about to hear.
So you've heard from Tish James saying that she's done
nothing wrong. Everything is totally cool. There's no reason to
(33:51):
prosecute her, she's above board, all this sort of stuff. Well,
this guy named Sam Antar appeared on Newsmax last night,
and he has the goods. He has the goods. He's
a forensic accountant. And I want everybody to hear this
because I think this is a very important story, especially
given the fact that they tried to put Donald Trump
(34:12):
in jail. And yeah, yeah, so let's we'll fire this up.
This is cut number thirteen, Sam and Tar breaking it down.
Speaker 12 (34:21):
Go of this up on Letitia James. He's the source
of all this information. Sam, thank you so much for
joining us. You're a New Yorker, you live right down
the street, and this is some fantastic work here. I
want to start and get into the just the specifics first,
starting with this Virginia property that she claimed as her
(34:42):
primary residence while she was I mean, this is Norfolk, Virginia.
It's probably five to six hour drive claiming it's her
primary residence while she's the age of New York. From
your report, you say James signed a specific power of
attorney declaring her intent to make six to zero four
Sterling Street in Norfolk, Virginia her principal residence, illegally binding
state that may have automatically vacated her position as New
(35:03):
York Attorney General under Public Officer's Law thirty, a declaration
that came just forty five days before she launched her
case or civil fraud case against Donald Trump. Tell us
more about what happened in Virginia.
Speaker 13 (35:14):
Here, she purchased a property with a relative. This is
in two thousand and twenty three, a few weeks she
closed ago.
Speaker 5 (35:22):
Right, she closed on.
Speaker 13 (35:23):
It right before the Trump trial. And in the file
documents with the County Clerk's office, there was a power
of attorney that she gave her cousin or niece to
close the mortgage. And on the power of attorney she
represents that I intend to use this property as my
primary residence. Now there's two problems with that. The first
(35:48):
problem is she lied on a power of attorney. Would
anybody really believe that she was going to move to
Virginia the middle the Trump trial. Second part is the
section six of the mortgage that stayed that the borrower,
meaning her and her niece, have to occupy the property
as their primary residence within sixty days, not one or
(36:10):
the other both.
Speaker 1 (36:11):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (36:13):
She never she at least occupied it, right, That's.
Speaker 12 (36:16):
What was what was the motivation to do this?
Speaker 5 (36:17):
While I lower interest rates or interest rates, I'd call
her a petty thief. A petty thief.
Speaker 12 (36:23):
This is I mean, this is when you look at
the allegation she made against Trump, is this act worse better,
saying well.
Speaker 5 (36:30):
No, listen, Trump, Trump is not a real felon. I'm
a real felon.
Speaker 13 (36:35):
Okay, So, so Trump didn't do anything wrong?
Speaker 12 (36:39):
Yeah, you don't think? You don't see anything wrong in
the case you made against Trump? You think, I mean,
obviously the jury here thought.
Speaker 5 (36:45):
That he did something wrong.
Speaker 13 (36:46):
Well, listen, it seems like you should have listened to
the appellate arguments because the appellate judges seemed to be
they're gonna it seems like they're going to write an
opinion that's going to vacate the entire case.
Speaker 12 (36:59):
Okay, Yeah, it's because I mean, obviously we were all
astounded by what they charged him for. That that penalty
was ridiculous. I want to move on here. Let's talk
about Brooklyn, New York. This is her actual main residence.
She walked out of this house this morning. In townhouse
she owns. It's a multi family home. You discovered James
has been claiming that her townhouse is a four unit
dwelling when it actually has five units.
Speaker 5 (37:20):
Why would she do this to obtain lower mortgage rates?
Speaker 13 (37:24):
Again motivating if one to four units has different underwriting
guidelines and also insurance too, by the way, insurance for it,
whereas if it's five or more units, it's considered a
commercial property and also subject.
Speaker 5 (37:38):
To different insurance guidelines.
Speaker 13 (37:39):
Right, she repeatedly lied because there's a certificate of occupancy
that states that it's five units, and in New York
that rules. And it's unbelievable that that complaints to a
file with the Department of Buildings, and they wrote it
off as a minor problem, minor era. Where every other
landlord in New York if you pulled that stunt legal
(38:02):
conversion having a buildings that's different from the certificate occuestry,
they will find you. They will make you all to
the building.
Speaker 12 (38:10):
She's flat out lying on these documents. She didn't deny
anything about it. Nineteen eighty three, she takes out a
thirty thousand dollars loan with her dad. She files it
as a husband and wife.
Speaker 5 (38:18):
She's married to a father. Why.
Speaker 13 (38:20):
First of all, that was discovered by Joel gil but
not me. I don't want to take credit for anybody's work,
all right. That was nineteen eighty three. What he found
was that she bought the house as daughter and my
father and daughter.
Speaker 5 (38:33):
And then she when they did the mortgage. Who was
husband and wife.
Speaker 13 (38:39):
Also, you get different underwriting as husband and wife than
as you buy it as you know, partners or or
two family members. We have Now this is different from
the Brooklyn home. This is a different property.
Speaker 5 (38:51):
I think it was in Queens.
Speaker 1 (38:52):
Yeah, it's a long time.
Speaker 12 (38:53):
This is forty one years ago.
Speaker 5 (38:55):
Forty two years ago.
Speaker 12 (38:56):
We have allegations of flying private on taxpayer money, almost
forty two thousand dollars to places like Martha's Vineyard Puerto Rico.
We have luxury hotels with mischaracterized on official filings. What
can you tell us here?
Speaker 5 (39:07):
Let's break it down.
Speaker 13 (39:09):
Between twenty twenty one and twenty twenty two, she used
private jets to get around spend forty two thousand dollars
of taxpayer money. The vendor she spent the money on
was called venture Jets. No other government agency, because the
information is out there back to twenty fourteen ever used
(39:29):
venture jets or for private jet travel.
Speaker 5 (39:33):
Period.
Speaker 13 (39:33):
Yeah, then in twenty twenty two, when the government stops
paying for her campaign, starts paying for it. Now, let's
go back to this stuff that the tax pay is
paid for. If you align the payments for the for
venture jets in those trips because you don't pay jet
travel net thirty days, you pay cod cash on delivery.
Speaker 5 (39:57):
Yeah, okay, they some.
Speaker 13 (39:59):
Of those trips align with major campaign events that she
was attending.
Speaker 1 (40:04):
That's a problem.
Speaker 12 (40:04):
That's a big, that's a big. She has a lot
of problems here. It's unbelievable reporting we've dug through. I
think the bulk of of what you have found. I
believe real quick before I let you go, you have
you have a past, yes, and and and tell us
how you got so good at what you just did
with what I mean, you worked on this for seven months.
How'd you get so good at this?
Speaker 13 (40:26):
Because I was a criminal for twenty years and I
was very good at doing what I did as a criminal.
Speaker 5 (40:33):
Morality aside. Yeah, the FBI saw a talent in me
and they helped me out going.
Speaker 13 (40:40):
Forward after the after the Crazy Eddy case, the FBI
taught me think when I was being investigated, the FBI
taught me how investigations are done. All of the beatings that
the FBI gave me when I was doing crime maybe
into a better human being.
Speaker 5 (40:55):
That's amazing.
Speaker 12 (40:56):
And you're just you said you like to figure out puzzles.
Speaker 5 (40:58):
I love puzzles, I love numbers.
Speaker 1 (41:00):
Listen.
Speaker 5 (41:00):
Yeah, this is not that I am not the Trump administration.
Speaker 1 (41:03):
I don't work for the Trump he doesn't work for
the Trump administration. He's none of that. He's his own guy.
And that is a very interesting reveal. There's a lot
in that reveal. Dudes Talk eleven ten, ninety nine to
(41:32):
three WBT Brett Waterbull Show. Good to be with you, CFO.
I mean, I just I'm just sitting back here and
I'm thinking about all of these different sort of stories
that are moving all at the same time, and I
think it's it's very interesting to consider what we're looking at.
By the way, got an interesting comment that came in
on the text line, and you could always reach out
(41:53):
on the WBT text line driven by Liberty Buick GMC,
and the telephone number is the same as always seven
four five seven zero, eleven ten and uh mark with
a with a very prescient sort of take. When is
the judge going to put a gag order on her?
Like President Trump? I you know what, I don't know.
(42:17):
I wish I knew, I wish I could tell you.
I have no idea. It's just one of those. It's
just one of those things, you know, I just you
just sit back and you go, Okay, Well, what's what's
happening here? How is all this stuff happening? Very very weird?
Uh storyline that needs to be exposed to a whole
bunch of folks. Uh. So the CCP wants to warp
(42:44):
the uh the American landscape? Oh really wait? I thought
they only did that at the colleges and universities. How
did that? How did that happen? Like that? Well, exposed
the CCP's United Front network in America's heart land, And
in this investigation, we will basically kind of take this apart.
(43:10):
I'm gonna post this up on X because it's a
lengthy piece, but the piece is about how it is
that folks are being recruited to be a part of
this cabal that the CCP is involved with. Remember, for
a long period of time, these folks were coming into
(43:31):
the United States and they were sending their kids to
the school here. But now we have got a whole
other kettle of fish. I will post up this article
over on X in the next commercial break, because this
thing is a very important sort of approach that we're
taking a look at but in the meantime, in the meantime,
(43:54):
I want to go to something else, which is the gateway.
Pundits got this piece today and it talks about how
it is that Meduro is desperate. So Meduro is running
the situation there in Venezuela and he is now calling
(44:16):
on indigenous tribes to form brigades and defend Venezuela from
US aggression. He advanced the Christmas season to October. That's
what he does. He does this pretty much every year.
He advanced the Christmas season to October while his security
(44:37):
forces are probing his top officials to root out traders
interested in the fifty million dollar bounty for his arrest.
This is all about. Maduro mobilized all Bolivian militias and
enacted drills, talked hard, defiantly, and saw foreign allies. And
(45:02):
now Meduro is freaking out because he thinks that he's
about to go away one way or another. Tried to
negotiate with Richard Grinnell until President Donald Trump shut down
all the diplomacy. Now he seems a bit desperate as
(45:23):
he makes an appeal to the Native South American tribes
to unite and fight the American military. Venezuela's authoritarian President
Nicholas Maduro has called on the indigenous peoples across South
America to organize brigades ready to defend the country against
(45:47):
what he described as a growing threat from the United States.
Speaking Sunday during a ceremony marking the Day of Indigenous Resistance,
how come we don't how come we don't celebrate the
Day of Indigenous Resistance? Oh, that's a comed holiday. It's
because it's a commie holiday, okay, which replaced Columbus Day.
(46:08):
Maduro urged unity among what he called the popular military
and police forces to protect national sovereignty amid heightened tensions
with Washington. I really don't think Washington's that tensioned. I
think it's you guys down there. They're gonna be way
more tensioned, Okay. President Nicholas Meduro joined the Venezuelan people
(46:32):
today in the March in Defense of Peace and Sovereignty,
commemorating Indigenous Resistance Day. How do you celebrate your Indigenous
Resistance Day? I know it's it's difficult to know. There's
got to be a ribbon, right, do you think there'd
be a ribbon? It's probably red. It's probably read like
the commune, like the Comi flag. President Day Nicholas Meduro
(46:59):
is calling for people to start to get up and
get about. The order is given to win peace and
exercise permanent sovereignty in our territory and seize, Maduro said
at the National Pantheon in Caracas, where he was joined
by delegations of indigenous communities wearing colorful feathered headdresses. He declared,
(47:23):
we are an indestructible people preparing to win peace, peace
with freedom, sovereignty and independence. The Venezuelan leader claimed to
have received letters from indigenous groups across Latin America to
fight alongside Venezuela should the US launch a military offensive.
(47:45):
If you want peace, prepare to win peace with unity,
he said. The speech also followed the announcement that opposition
leader Maria Corina Muchado, who had won the twenty five
Nobel Peace Prize, a development that angered Maduro and his allies.
(48:08):
And he's referring to her as a demonic witch. That's
not nice. He denounced what he called a tiny minority
filled with hatred that calls for an invasion of Venezuela. Well,
it's someone gonna dial that up. Is somebody gonna say, listen,
let's go ahead and check this out. What's gonna happen?
(48:31):
How's this supposed to come to pass? I don't know,
but I can tell you this right now, the people
of Venezuela are ready for this character to get dumped.
(48:53):
Here's talk eleven ten. I'm three WBT. All right, Let's
let's check in on couple other big stories that are
out there moving around, and I think there's like some
really great stuff that we've got here. Let me go
to Let's see all right, Mandami. Mandami had a rally,
(49:14):
So that rally that you heard from Tiss James. He
let her, you know, kind of get the conversation going
with the folks who were showing up for her. But
this is really bad stage coaching. Like this is some
of the worst stage coaching I've ever seen. This is
cutting number fourteen, and get a load of this. Please
(49:38):
go now.
Speaker 7 (49:41):
Woo Nos, we might have some some heckless tonight. We
don't really know what's gonna happen, So I just want
to give you some instructions on what we're gonna do
if we are interrupted tonight. Basically, anything anything goes wrong
you're gonna hear some music. Let's hear that music now, please,
there's no music.
Speaker 1 (50:00):
Listen.
Speaker 7 (50:00):
I have a musical theater degree. I will sing if
I have to.
Speaker 14 (50:14):
What do we do?
Speaker 1 (50:16):
What do we do? We move everyone out there?
Speaker 3 (50:26):
Look at you?
Speaker 1 (50:28):
Look at Okay. I can't take it. Just stop it,
just stop it right there. I just can't. I can't
take any more of this. This is how stupid this
stuff is. They're they're they're trying to teach people how
to react if there's a heckler, just just you walk
up to the heckler and you say get out, boom, goodbye.
(50:51):
But this is this is like, this is what the
Soviets used to do. Okay, if you see somebody who's
disagreeing with you, just start dancing around and hopping around
and cursing and doing all that kind of stuff. All right,
I'm gonna give you guys a much more important thing
to hear about. And this is something that I think
(51:11):
is fantastic, and I mean totally fantastic. So you know
that Donald Trump is the second coming of the devil,
right because because he wants to clean up the streets.
He wants to clean up the streets and one of
the places that he wants to clean up. Oh wait,
we don't have to clean it up anymore because they've
(51:32):
cleaned it up. This is cut eighteen and this is
this is what happened when the troops went into Memphis.
Cut number eighteen letter rip.
Speaker 15 (51:46):
It took Trump two weeks to clean up the crime.
And mythis the residents are saying they never felt this safe.
They are showing that the key is that they are
outside playing and they are saying that if they never
they haven't heard gunshots, They've never been able to feel
this safe. And some residents are SAand in five years
(52:09):
and you let and you expect the Democratic Party Brandon
Johnson and J. D.
Speaker 11 (52:13):
Prisker expect us to believe crime is down.
Speaker 15 (52:16):
I keep telling you all, it's nothing you can tell
us when crime is down.
Speaker 11 (52:21):
The residents will know crime is down. We all feel it.
We can tell it. We know that we are safe.
Speaker 15 (52:25):
We can go outside and say, hey, crime is down
because we know what's going on in our community. How
dare Brandon Johnson and J. D. Prisker tried to convince
us in Chicago that crime is down When Brandon Johnson
have one hundred and fifty police detail following him and
his family around everywhere they go, prisker. He don't even
(52:46):
be a Chicago And the place he had that he
lived at and that's in Chicago, have gates, cameras, police details.
Speaker 11 (52:54):
All around it.
Speaker 15 (52:55):
These crooks. We keep allowing these crooks to tell us
what's going on in our communities.
Speaker 11 (53:03):
I keep telling you all when.
Speaker 15 (53:05):
Crime is down, When we're when crime is really down
and we don't have the things to worry about in
our community like shootings and murder and carjackings and things
like that, we can tell that we know that because
we can feel safe, we would feel safe in our communities.
We don't need no lyon crooked politician to lie and
(53:25):
try to convince us that crime is down.
Speaker 11 (53:27):
We can tell it, we can feel it.
Speaker 15 (53:28):
We'll be able to go outside in our communities and
feel safe. We already had to deal with our games
in our criminals in our communities. Then you come and
dump thousands of illegal alien game members into our community
and somehow you want to convince us that crime went
(53:50):
down after that. Yeah, okay, I'm so tired of these
people trying to convince us that we're safe in our
communities when we know we are not. And for you
all to allow these crooked politicians to letter you and
tail you this, it's a slap in our faces.
Speaker 11 (54:08):
They really think we're stupid.
Speaker 15 (54:10):
Wake up, Chicago, Mephis think, I'm so glad that you
all feel safe in you a community. Please get on
your elected officials and both these people out in turn,
Mephis rid.
Speaker 1 (54:23):
So what what's the upside for crime?
Speaker 3 (54:26):
Like?
Speaker 1 (54:26):
Why why is Pritzker not wanting to send criminals out
of his out of his city? Why is Brandon Johnson?
I know why Brandon Johnson does not want to send
criminals out of his city. That that's absolutely clear in
almost every possible way, because the entire reason why you
(54:50):
saw all of these people being pushed into Chicago was
to backfill all of the people who abandoned the city,
who decided they were going to go live in better places,
safer places, all that sort of stuff. And the teachers,
the CTA had to figure out a way to backfill.
(55:13):
And what they did, they went and they took you know,
all these the illegals and criminals, and they they were
using that. Biden knew that, I mean everybody knew that
that was the case. Why do you think that they
weren't dumping them in Beverly Hills. Why do you think
they weren't dumping them in in in in the Tony
(55:34):
neighborhoods adjacent to where we're sitting here today. I mean, why,
why would you Why would you think that that would
be okay? See, this is a two tier system of injustice,
all right. The teachers unions in Chicago and in New York,
(55:56):
and in Los Angeles and in the other places around country,
they realized that people are fleeing. We've got to replace
those people with something otherwise we're not going to get
the funding from the federal government. And that's why Biden
dumped them all around the country. And now and now
(56:16):
you have people. I've got a clip I'm gonna play
for you later on. There's a guy by the name
of Patrick Hanley. Hanley, he's a Democrat. He's running for
state House in Illinois. This guy docked ice officers and
he starts giving up all this information to encourage the
(56:39):
bad guys to keep it up, which is awful, and
this guy is bad news. Well you'll hear from that,
dudes talk eleven ten, nine three WBT, Brent winter Bowl
and Bo Thompson joining us here today on the crossing
(57:02):
of the streams. Hello, sir, how are you hey?
Speaker 3 (57:05):
How are you doing?
Speaker 1 (57:06):
Brett doing well? Doing well? Everything is solid and exciting
at the same time. Let me ask you a question.
Here we are, you know, twenty four to forty eight
hours removed from all that's taken place with the President
going over to got not to gossip, but to the
to the Middle East. What's your big takeaway from this?
(57:27):
Looking back over the course of the last you know,
number of hours.
Speaker 3 (57:32):
Then it's probably the most consequential thing he has done
or will do as president. Now, look, who knows what
the next couple of years could bring. But you know,
I've had the thought over the last twenty four hours
several times. You know, some people love President Trump, some
people don't like President Trump. Some people it's kind of
(57:57):
day to day, sure, because it kind of break neck speed,
turbulent presidency at times. But look, I always think about
the people who say that I vote for presidents based
on Supreme Court picks, or I vote for president based
on big, big picture things. And while you're always going
to have the MAGA supporters, you're always going to have
(58:19):
the people that are never Trumpers. I guess I think
there are people that fit into that category of the
big monumental things, and this goes into that category. And
I think you're seeing, you know, people from all walks
of political life posting or putting out statements or being
(58:39):
quoted in interviews as saying, you have to give it
to President Trump no matter what or where you fall
on this one, because this is something very few people
thought could be done by anybody, and a few people
thought that he would actually be able to close the
deal on and he has. And I don't think many
people could say that.
Speaker 1 (58:57):
No, I think you're exactly right on, and I think
think in as much as he deserves a lot of credit,
it's those guys, you know, wit cough and the folks
who are there on the ground trying to stitch this
thing together. I mean, I can't even imagine, because it
was just what could have been incredible success could have
(59:18):
easily turned at the last possible minute. The thing could
have collapsed. And I'm really happy to see that these
folks have been repatriated, and we certainly obviously want to
see those who had lost their lives to be repatriated
back to their families as well.
Speaker 3 (59:34):
Yeah, and no matter what happens, I mean, of course,
we know who we're dealing with here. It's a shaky
agreement by definition of whoever would make it, just because
of past performance or past indicators. But you can't take
away the fact now that the twenty hostages have been
released and that end of itself is a monumental achievement.
(59:58):
And hopefully the the peace plan holds and it's a
phased plan as he said, and that all has to
be worked out. But to your point, it's President Trump.
But you know that phrase. We're so used to that phrase.
I like to make deals. I'm a deal maker, part
of the deal. Even way back before he was ever president,
he was a legendary businessman. But this is where that
(01:00:22):
deal making prowess comes into play. And part of that
is not just being the closer, but it's having a
team that can do the things that not everybody is
seeing happening, and things that are happening while people are
distracted looking at other things. But when it's time to
close it, you have to have to have that ability
to have that handshake mean something, and obviously it has.
Speaker 1 (01:00:50):
Here and look, the reality is, this is a guy
who's what seventy nine. He gets on the flight, he
goes over there, He then goes to Egypt. He goes
and shakes hands for you know of you know, five
hours something like that, talk at all these different heads
of state and things like that. I would I would
challenge that you and I would probably be exhausted, uh
(01:01:12):
after that, after that spell. And here he is, he's
on TV right now and he's he's offering up or
he's he's remembering Charlie Kirk. Today's would would be his birthday,
and he's been getting the Metal of Freedom, uh posthumously. Uh.
This is a guy that he's got boundless energy. I
(01:01:34):
mean I don't I don't know where it comes from.
Speaker 3 (01:01:36):
I don't either, because I know how I feel if
I don't get a certain amount of sleep, especially when
there's a morning show on the on the other side
of that. But you and I both know what it's
like to do, uh, a radio broadcast on little sleep
but much less you know, globe trout as as the
leader of the free world, and and and like you say,
(01:01:57):
he really had to had to hook it to make
it back to to be able to be in place
to to be part of that ceremony today. So I
mean Mick mulvaney is in there with us on Mondays.
He talks about watching President Trump, you know, from five
feet away, I mean from all I hear, he just
doesn't require much sleep. I don't know how he does it,
but he doesn't.
Speaker 1 (01:02:17):
Somehow I don't either. And by the way, I did
want to shout out Mick mulvaney because I thought he
did a wonderful job. I heard it yesterday and then
I heard it again this this this morning when when
you were playing those those parts of the way these
sorts of things are going to happen, because look, the
reality is, this is the most dangerous part of the
(01:02:37):
entire planet. I think what we're what we're looking at,
and we hope to we hope beyond beyond that we
don't see a shooting, war happening again or anything like that,
because this is a place that has been just absolutely
riddled with violence and death and destruction. And hearing hearing
(01:02:58):
from the effective that that Mick Malvany was giving us yesterday,
I think it really helped to fill in the the
things that caused us to kind of wonder, Okay, how
is this going to happen, and how is that gonna happen?
Since he was right there with the president back back
in the day.
Speaker 3 (01:03:16):
Yeah, absolutely, And he was underscoring the role that that
Kushner and and and Ivanka as well. I mean they
have been somewhat out of the spotlight for a while. Yeah,
but now all of a sudden, uh, here they are
back in the forefront, and and I wonder what their
role is going to be. And you know, he made
(01:03:37):
the point that they're not exactly the the uh you'll
exactly fall into into the right wing of the party category.
But but by the same token, looking back on this,
I mean, the two of them and their relationship and
what they've been doing out of the spotlight now obviously
is of huge importance to this all being closed. Which
(01:04:00):
kind of goes back to what I was saying is,
you know, President Trump is the guy who's the spearhead,
the figurehead of all of this, but he's got a
lot going on that I think people don't always see,
and this huge deal is evidence of that.
Speaker 1 (01:04:14):
Yeah, what do you got coming up tomorrow morning? In
our last thirty seconds, so.
Speaker 3 (01:04:19):
We got major general John Meyer, who is former director
of Communications or I'm sorry, he's the former chief of
Army Public Affairs, going to talk about this hegstaff situation
at the Pentagon. And we also have Sean Flynn tomorrow
from the CRVA talking about the seventieth anniversary of the
Bojangles Coliseum.
Speaker 1 (01:04:38):
Wow, that's awesome, looking forward to it. Man, enjoy the
night and we'll catch it up with you tomorrow. How
about that?
Speaker 9 (01:04:43):
Yes, sir, thank you, You got it.
Speaker 1 (01:05:00):
I mean, this is the fastest show on radio. It's
absolutely right. I mean, there's no doubt about it. Seven
oh four five, sevenh eleven ten. If you wish to opine,
if you wish to be a part of the conversation,
we are certainly welcoming you. We're a welcoming community here,
and that's why we like to talk to smart people
(01:05:20):
and sometimes not so smart people. But you know what,
that's that's the beauty of it. That's talk radio and
I love it. But we do have an incredibly talented
audience and that's one of my favorite things in the
entire world. Suddenly, suddenly, suddenly, people are starting to pick
up some things here. Holy cow, what is going on
out there? In terms of the stuff that's happening. SpaceX
(01:05:45):
is preparing the next gen starship after a successful flight test,
so that's pretty great. Also, we have a number of
different things that we're kind of finding out in the
deep universe. We'll talk about that a little bit later on.
Speaker 3 (01:06:02):
UH.
Speaker 1 (01:06:02):
And then of course there's always the very important topic
of of diseases that you can pick up. Oh yeah,
there's diseases you give pick up. Us measles cases continue
to climb with outbreaks across the country. All right, So
we got we have measles, especially in South Carolina, got
(01:06:22):
one hundred and fifty unvaccinated kids into twenty one day quarantine.
You got that going on. And you've also got superbugs,
not actual bugs, but superbugs that are things that are
making people get sicker. There's also been a large genetic
study link between cannabis using psychiatric, cognitive, and physical health.
(01:06:46):
So there's there's all kinds of things that we've got
on there. At the same time, the President of the
United States is honoring Charlie Kirk. Today would have been
his UH would would have been his birthday, and President
Trump is a warding Charlie Kirk the Medal of freedom.
It's the highest, it's the highest sort of honor that
(01:07:06):
you can have absent the military. And they're different medals.
But do we have this. Let's listen to the president
here as he's a talking.
Speaker 16 (01:07:19):
When we would have lost our city. Now, they already
lost twenty five thousand houses to fire because they wouldn't
let the water come in from the Pacific Northwest, which
they should have done, and I tad her, you better
do it.
Speaker 1 (01:07:29):
They didn't do it, and we had twenty.
Speaker 16 (01:07:32):
Five thousand homes where they had no water in the sprinklers,
they had no water in the fire hydrants. It would
have been a different kind of thing if they did
what they was supposed to do.
Speaker 1 (01:07:41):
We had to break in. We broke in and had
the water come down.
Speaker 16 (01:07:44):
They actually they said for the environment, great, they lost
twenty five rights.
Speaker 1 (01:07:48):
That's the President just giving you a little sample of
what he was talking about. That's the fire. The fires
that occurred earlier in this year. We now know that
there was somebody who was responsible for those fires, and
it's a guy who decided he wanted to burn a
whole bunch of stuff down. And it's really weird because
in the aftermath of that arrest boy. It seems like
(01:08:11):
this guy has kind of gone right off of the
the radar. They're they're I think they're hoping that this
guy and the guy that killed Charlie Kirk are gonna
be forgotten by the people, because what you have in
common with these two people right in the assassination of
(01:08:34):
Charlie Kirk, and what you have with the assassination of
of so many people who lost their lives because of
the fire, is that these are what the progressives like
to call the the fallen, the fallen folks who who
just really meant so much better than they should have been,
(01:08:57):
and all this sort of stuff. This is the problem
that has had happening here. Okay, when you see violence
coming from the left, and this is a very common
activity when you see people coming from the left, whether
it's Luigi, whether it's the Furries, whether it's this guy
who started the fire, they try to put them sort
(01:09:20):
of away so that nobody understands what's going on. Nobody's
gonna talk about it twenty four to seven, three sixty five.
They should be talking about it twenty four to seven,
three sixty five. That absolutely should be the case. These
people need to be understood to be what I would say,
street terrorists, assassins, those sorts of things. And the problem
(01:09:43):
is the problem is they try to hide. They don't
want to talk about this. I mean, I don't blame
people by and large who don't want to talk about
that sort of stuff. It's very uncomfortable. But the fact
of the matter is when you think about it, what
it is that's happening in our country, and there are
great things that are happening in our country, and there
(01:10:06):
are still very dangerous people who are walking the streets
in the United States of America. Whether it's people who
are victims when it comes to crime, whether it's people
who are just trying to get to work, get back home,
be safe, all that sort of stuff. Nobody celebrates those people.
(01:10:27):
Nobody celebrates the people who work hard to try to
get out to work and then get back to their houses.
They will only only ever call for the thing that
we're all looking for, which is safety and security. They
will accept a certain amount of that discussion. But by
(01:10:51):
the way, in the end run here that we're talking
about these people who commit heinous crimes, arsonists, assassins, criminals
who are coming down from a variety of locations. This
is the problem that we have to deal with, and
(01:11:12):
people don't like talking about it. I understand that. I
understand that you're gonna see over the course of the
next days the people who lost their lives over in
in Gaza, over in Israel. You're going to see people
who are going to be remembered. But this storyline is
(01:11:38):
going to disappear because the reality is the progressives cannot
allow this storyline to be front and center because by
having President Trump go over there and get the folks
who were held hostage and get the remains of those
(01:11:58):
who lost their lives, they cannot stick with that for
much longer because it elevates President Trump. That's one of
the things that we have to understand. It's the same
reason why they don't really want to see the Charlie's
Medal of Freedom, because it reminds people that leftists do
(01:12:22):
terrible things. Right wingers do terrible things too. But these
we're talking about as mass, mass dangers, mass problems that
we have got to understand to be real. But you'll
see in the next twenty four to forty eight hours
(01:12:45):
this will go right off the headlines and it's a
shame because the people who lost their lives, the bodies
of fathers and soldiers and students, remain in Gaza after
the hostage relief release, and that should not be. That
should not be. News Talk eleven ten nine three WBT

Speaker 14 (01:13:24):
Be with you.
Speaker 1 (01:13:26):
What's worse tailgating or being a speeder? What's what's worse?
Tailgating or being a speeder? I've got a I've got
a thought on this coming up in just a few moments.
Jim in Sandago, Jim, welcome to the program. What's on
your mind?
Speaker 17 (01:13:46):
Yeah, I'll stay on the topic. I'll answer the question.
The comedian, the late great comedian Richard Lewis had the
answer for that. Everybody behind you is an idiot, and
everybody ahead of you is a maniac. Everybody going faster
than you is a maniac, and everybody that's going slower
(01:14:08):
you is an idiot.
Speaker 1 (01:14:09):
So so what which are you? Which are you? When
you're driving?
Speaker 17 (01:14:13):
Oh? I'm slow. I drive slow. I've usually got things
in my mind. People are always honking at me when
I'm driving. Uh, and I just don't I don't have
a lead foot anymore.
Speaker 1 (01:14:26):
Good.
Speaker 17 (01:14:27):
I'm not at the inert for the performance or two
show people what my skills are.
Speaker 1 (01:14:33):
Yes, you know it all right? I just so, what
did you have on your mind? Otherwise? Otherwise what did
you have on your mind?
Speaker 17 (01:14:42):
You know, this thing that Trump has done is so amazing.
You know, the back when Winston Churchill first flashed the
V sign, it was first Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, and it
also had other connotations that were rather derogatory. And then
of course from the counter call are picked up on
this symbol. They used it with great hyperbolic rhetoric. They
(01:15:06):
used it for everything. And today, now today, thanks to
the president, thanks to Donald Trump's work, it's no longer
just a just a symbol, not just something that people
was just not just the rhetorical salutation. Sure, it is
(01:15:28):
a real thing.
Speaker 3 (01:15:29):
We have got.
Speaker 17 (01:15:30):
We have got in peace and one of the most
volatile regions in the world because of this man's relentless,
is unceleasing work. You would not take no for an answer,
because he knew it was there, he knew that would
live together.
Speaker 1 (01:15:45):
You're right, I appreciate the call. Jim Erica Kirk is
speaking right now. Let's dip in there if we can.
Speaker 6 (01:15:52):
And it's because his confidence in Christ was absolute. That's why.
Speaker 18 (01:15:58):
There is no limit, no limit to what he would
have sacrificed to defend freedom for all. And if the
moment had come, he probably would have run for president,
but not out of ambition. He would only have done
it if that was something that he believed that his
country needed. From a servant's heart standpoint, and Charlie lived
(01:16:19):
only thirty one short years now he was thirty two,
but on this side of heaven.
Speaker 6 (01:16:24):
But he lived. He lived every single second he lived.
Speaker 18 (01:16:33):
He filled every single day with purpose, and he fought
for truth when it was unpopular, and he stood for
God when it was costly, but that's what we're called
to do.
Speaker 6 (01:16:44):
Surprisingly enough, he did pray for his enemies, which is
very hard, but he did.
Speaker 1 (01:16:49):
He did. He did.
Speaker 6 (01:16:57):
No one else.
Speaker 18 (01:16:57):
I mean I saw him do it. No, he never
did it in front of anyone else, but I can
attest to that. But he also loved people when it
was inconvenient, and he ran his race with endurance, and
he kept the faith. And now he wears the crown
of a righteous martyr. And for me and for our children,
(01:17:18):
the truth really studies our grief because Heaven gained what
Earth could no longer contain, a free man made fully
free into all watching. This is not a ceremony, this
is a commissioning, and my message is simple. I want
(01:17:43):
you to be the embodiment of this metal.
Speaker 6 (01:17:48):
I do.
Speaker 18 (01:17:49):
I want you to free yourself from fear. I want
you to stand courageously in the truth, listen for the
still small voice of God, and remember that while freedom
is inherited in this country, each of us must be
intentional stewards every single day. God began a mighty work
(01:18:13):
through my husband, and I intend to see it through.
And the torch is in our hands. Now, it's in mine,
it's in yours, it's in all of yours, it's in
all the students with turning point USA. And before I close,
I'll share with you that I asked our daughter what
she would like to say to Daddy for his birthday.
Speaker 14 (01:18:36):
Excuse me, She said, happy birthday, Daddy. I want to
give you a stuffed animal.
Speaker 17 (01:19:00):
Man.
Speaker 18 (01:19:03):
I want you to eat a cupcake with ice cream,
and I want you to go have a birthday surprise.
Speaker 6 (01:19:10):
I love you, That's what she said. And while our son,
he's precious, he can't yet speak.
Speaker 18 (01:19:19):
In classic Kirk family fashion, his actions spoke louder than
his words, and his gift to you, Charlie and myself
for that matter, was deciding to become the man of
the house and be fully potty trained at sixteen months.
Speaker 6 (01:19:33):
But Charlie, baby, I know that you're celebrating in heaven today.
But gosh, I miss you. We miss you, and we
love you, and we promise we'll I'll make you proud.
Speaker 18 (01:19:45):
And Charlie's life was proof that freedom is not a theory,
it's a testimony.
Speaker 6 (01:19:52):
He showed us that liberty.
Speaker 18 (01:19:54):
Begins not in the halls of power, but in the
man of a heart surrendered to God. So today is
we honor Charlie with this incredible Presidential Medal of Freedom
On his birthday. I seen her with tears and just
humbled heart and spirit because his story reminds us all
(01:20:17):
that to live free is the greatest gift, but to
die free is the greatest victory.
Speaker 6 (01:20:29):
Happy birthday, my Charlie, Happy Freedom Day.
Speaker 1 (01:20:36):
That's Erica Kirk important words. Hold on, hold on, stop
(01:20:56):
right there? Why are we even playing them? We shouldn't
even play the music. Just say let's ladies, and gentlemen,
I have a piece of information that even I can't believe.
Isaac is very upset. No corruption in Charlotte City government.
(01:21:17):
Outside investigation says that just dropped.
Speaker 14 (01:21:23):
Do you know?
Speaker 1 (01:21:24):
There is no corruption in Charlotte City government? Outside investigation,
says Nick Sullivan over at the Charlotte Observer. Here we go.
A third party investigation released Tuesday turned up no evidence
(01:21:44):
of corruption or unethical behavior on the Charlotte City Council,
not even a little bit like not even like somebody
took a post it note, it took a couple of
index cards, none of that. Ah, come on, here we go.
Invest instigators looked into statements by at large Councilwoman Victoria
(01:22:05):
Watlington that alleged unethical, immoral, and frankly illegal activities occurring
within city government, and the city hired attorneys with the
Cranville Sumner Law firm in July to conduct the investigation
for a maximum cost of twenty five thousand dollars. The
(01:22:27):
final cost was not immediately available. What wait a minute,
So you were allowed to spend as much as twenty
five thousand dollars, but what if you went to twenty
six thousand? Could you find corruption, then you what if
you put thirty five thousand? What about that? No, the
final cost was not available immediately. Why why wouldn't we
(01:22:51):
have the exact number of what we spent? Could that
be the issue? I don't know. Council received a report
on the investigation during a closed session meeting on Monday. Well,
that that's great, that's like, that's that's definitely important to
have a closed session. It shared a five page report.
(01:23:15):
Hold on a minute, a five page report. Now they
were going to allow you to spend as much as
twenty five thousand dollars. So, Isaac, you're a smart math guy.
You do a lot of math. If I if I
spend twenty five thousand and I get a five page report,
how much is that per page? It's five grand a page,
(01:23:37):
five grand a page for five grand a page, I
would expect that we would have something more detailed than
just five pages. A man, some processes and communications could
be improved, the report found. Oh I love that. That
that that is the greatest generic line. Okay, it's like
(01:23:59):
the y. Yeah, some processes and communications could be improved,
the report found, But these issues do not amount to
misconduct or corruption. So what would you qualify that mass? Like,
what would it be? I mean, for five thousand dollars
a page, I need to see some I need to
see something something. Can you post it up for us?
(01:24:20):
Can we just read it ourselves. It's not gonna take
a lot of time. What's the most expensive piece of
paper you've ever had? Isaac? Can you think about this, like,
I know you have maybe you have like certain competencies,
maybe you have certain licenses, maybe you have certain things
like that. I mean, you know, five grand a page.
(01:24:41):
That's and nothing to see like, that's amazing, not even
anything like not even like just zero, no problem, that's incredible.
Did you just check? Just go ahead and check real quick.
Look look around here at the studio. Do you see
any other documentation? I don't see any of it. So
I think we're gonna have to wait for the five
(01:25:02):
thousand dollars per page. It's five thousand dollars a page,
do you I mean, what's the maximum number of lines
you could put on an eight and a half by
eleven page. That's exactly what I was about to ask.
This is coming out to like more than a dollar
a word here, It's way more than a dollar a word.
It's like it's like fifteen hundred a word or something.
(01:25:23):
Oh no, it's not that much. Don't worry about it.
It's okay. Some processes and communications could be improved, the
report found, do we get to find out what could
be improved? Five grand a page? You know what I
(01:25:45):
want for five grand a page? I want a lot
for five grand a page? I want it. I want
it like super tiny font that I have to use
like a you know, a magnifying glass to read. We
could really pack that in there. Some processes and communications
could be improved. The report found. These issues do not
(01:26:05):
amount to misconduct or corruption. Well then what do we
what do we call it? I don't know. Over the
past several months, our city has been under a lot
of scrutiny. Mayor vy Lyle said, these egregious allegations hurt
our team, and we owed it to them to investigate.
But we still don't know what this is.
Speaker 17 (01:26:25):
This is what this is.
Speaker 1 (01:26:27):
Council voted in closed session in May to pay Charlotte
Mecklenburg police Chief Johnny Jennings a controversial three hundred and
five thousand settlement, reportedly to avoid a lawsuit over comments
from the former council member tark Bakari Watlington, a Democrat,
(01:26:47):
issued a statement from her campaign email shortly after council
approved the agreement. The email contained the quote power corrupts
and absolute power corrupts absolutely, but there's no evidence of that.
There's none. There's no evidence of that. And the allegations
(01:27:08):
of unethical, immoral and illegal activity in the city government,
it's not there. It's five thousand dollars a page. It's
five thousand dollars a page. I mean they did a
five thousand dollars page.
Speaker 5 (01:27:22):
I mean, this is.
Speaker 1 (01:27:25):
Okay, here we go. Isaac's got this going here, assuming
times new Roman, twelve point font, single space, five hundred
words per page, twenty five hundred words. What's the ten
per word? Ten dollars a word, ten dollars per word,
twenty five hundred words total. Holy cow, those are big words.
(01:27:49):
That's I'm glad I got this piece of information here.
So ten dollars, ten dollars a word, ten dollars a word.
That's actually not that's actually cheaper than I thought it
would be. Like honestly, I'm figuring, like, ah, fifty bucks,
fifty bucks a word, fitty a word. Now if they
had a title page. Oh boy, now is there an appendix?
Speaker 5 (01:28:11):
We do not know.
Speaker 1 (01:28:12):
It depends have you been infected, because we may have
to take your appendix. I'm sorry about that, but that'll
be more room for a ten dollar word. Can you
think of a single solitary ten dollar word? No, I can't.
I can't. Let's hear it. I can't because ten dollar
(01:28:32):
words are ten dollars words. I can't say it. I
don't want to accrue a charge. I keep that from
my own specialties. Let's remember this, Let's remember this is.
Speaker 6 (01:28:45):
Really quite something.
Speaker 1 (01:28:47):
I just I don't know. Five I would expect like
I would go with twenty pages. Give me fool, give
me fogs. Oh boy, we got a lot of cynical people.
A lot of people don't like the results of this
(01:29:09):
investigation that happened. If you're just joining us here, let's
do some sharing. I always feel like sharing is caring.
Caring is sharing. Okay, here we go. What did you
just tell me not to say that? Okay, well all right,
so here's what we got. Processes and improvements will cost
you five thousand dollars a page. That is Wayne, Wayne,
(01:29:32):
I like the way you think five k a page.
Sounds like a divorce paperwork. Oh that's as it makes
me sad, Bob from Lancaster, that would be a word
a page. There's no corruption in Charlotte. One thousand dollars
a word. The people are very cynical here. This report
(01:29:56):
shows that Dems are the reason why Charlotte is the
way it is. Well, I mean, what are the parties?
Are there? Are there? Are there other parties? Let's see
what did we get here? Uh, five thousand dollars a
page for a whitewash. I don't know is that is that?
Is that really true? I don't know if that's true.
I think we all agree that the twenty five thousand
(01:30:17):
was a payoff, was a payoff to prove the corruption
is unseen and unheard. Huh. That guy we got we
got a lot of really has a lot of a
lot of heat coming in.
Speaker 17 (01:30:31):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:30:31):
You should take that report and run it through the
AI checker to see if it was AI generated. I
bet it was. That's really good. That's fantastic. Stan. The
actual amount of money to be spent on the report
to find out if there was Charlotte City Council corruption
(01:30:54):
isn't available yet. As they were waiting for the results
before figuring out if they should pay more if it
was getting more money to find not not find corruption. No,
hold on a second, Wait a minute, Hold on a minute.
It just it just came to me. Here did they
(01:31:16):
put out Did they put this out for bid? Like
you get the high bid, you get the low bid,
and then you get the middle bid, Like did they
when you're trying to prove that you're not, you know,
in a problematic situation, I would say, like you want
(01:31:37):
to like, Hey, we're gonna put this bid out anybody,
anybody you want to know, Oh, what's the cheapest one?
Maybe that was the cheapest one, that might have been
the most economic one. I don't want to say cheap,
because cheap is cheap is a is a tough word.
I'm gonna say economical, that we are an economical group
who don't want to spend too much money on this.
(01:32:00):
So really, here's what we're gonna do, Isaac, here's what
we're gonna do. We're gonna limit it to five pages.
You can only give us a report in the span
of five pages, and it's going to be very economical.
Because we only got five pages. We could have gotten
four hundred pages. We got five pages. Is it double spaced?
Speaker 14 (01:32:26):
It?
Speaker 1 (01:32:26):
Have you? Did you ever have to write a report
like in college and you made the font bigger and
you like you did seventeen you did, like made the
periods fourteen point font? Yeah? Uh, triple with triple space.
You ever have one of those, We'll just say it's
double space with a title page and an appendix. Let
(01:32:48):
me tell you I had when I was in college,
and I and I'm I'm not dating myself, but when
I was in college, I actually went people will remember
this of a certain period. I rented a word processor, okay,
(01:33:11):
and this was the word processor where you better type
it right because if you mess it up, you have
to reprint the page. And this meant like a lot
of work. And when you, let me tell you something,
those old fashioned word word processors, they made a racket
(01:33:37):
when you were printing them, so you would have to
do your printing like before eleven o'clock at night, because
that thing would be like bang bang bang bang bang
bang bank And you're like, oh my gosh, my roommate
is going to be so mad. I've got a thirty
page paper and I'm only on page two and this
is just horrible. And it was a daisy wheel, so
(01:34:00):
it was like bang bang bang bang bang bang bang.
And you're like, once you print, once you hit print,
it prints everything. You can't stop it. And then you
gotta go get paper. Now hard it is to get
paper in Boston at three o'clock in the morning. The
boys are all cold closed. You can't get you Boston.
(01:34:22):
He's not happening. Thanks to Isaac, Lonnie, Pam, the jam
