Speaker 1 (00:16):
Who's talk eleven ten, not nine three WBT, it's great
to be with you. Seven oh four five seven zero
eleven ten. I really, I really am curious to know
from people who listen to the program and all of
our programs. Quite frankly, I really want to know, what
(00:36):
is it that's so sexy about socialism? What is it
that makes you want to be a socialistic person? What
is this exactly? And we're gonna we're gonna unpack that.
I'm gonna I'm gonna pin a lot of tales on
your donkeys, and we're gonna see, you know exactly if
you're really willing to believe in this kind of stuff, Like,
(00:56):
why would you be doing this? If you've not been
paying attention in the course of the last forty eight hours,
you might have missed this. The United States has sent
three warships towards the coast of Venezuela. Maduro is mobilizing
four and a half million militia members. Three US AEGIS
(01:19):
guided missile destroyers are set to arrive off Venezuela's coasts
within the next twenty four hours, part of the Trump
administration's effort to counter threats from Latin American drug cartels.
Now this is this is where you're really going to
(01:42):
get down and dirty at eleven thirty. Because this is good.
This is good, This is this is sending a message
to putin. It is trust me, made no mistake about it.
As per Reuters, the deployed American ships are the USS Graverly,
the USS John Dunham, and the USS Sampson. I like
(02:05):
that Samson, very very biblical, especially for the filthy communists.
The US military has also previously announced that on August
the twenty second, that air and naval forces would be
deployed to the Caribbean or the Caribbean, depending on your pronunciation,
with more than four thousands in sailors and marines. As
(02:27):
the Trump administration shows increasing willingness to use military force
to combat drug trafficking in Latin America. This is fascinating.
You know they're gonna grab him. You know they're gonna
grab him. They're gonna take him, and they're gonna put him
in a cage. They're gonna take him and he's going
(02:49):
to go into a cage, just like Elpino. You don't
know who that is, Oh, that would be the guy
that was running Panama, not in the fun van Halen way,
but in the let's go knock over a crooked narco terrorist.
H This is this is going to be a big
(03:10):
deal because we have offered the government has offered fifty
million dollars to get this guy. Okay, and then Maduro
made a big mistake because he he basically said to
(03:30):
the world, I'm going to get Donald Trump and I'm
gonna get the Epstein files. Donald Trump, I think took
him literally and is now sending in what is going
to happen next? Last week, US Attorney General Pam Bondi
(03:51):
announced THEA the seizure of assets worth seven hundred million
dollars from Venezuela as head of state. In an official
statement published in UH on Tuesday, the Venezuelan government said,
the Bulavarian Republic of Venezuela observes the total clarity of
(04:12):
desperation of the United States administration, which resorts to threats
and defamation against our country. Now it's actually against your leader.
Washington's accusation that Venezuela is involved in drug trafficking reveals
their lack of credibility and the failure that its policies
are are doing in the region. They're gonna put him
(04:35):
in a very small box. He's gonna be in a box.
He's not gonna I'm telling you, they're gonna go get
They're gonna go get him. They're gonna put him on
they're gonna put them on display, and they're gonna take
it around to all of the rest of the the
fairs that are happening around here. I'm telling you, this
is what's gonna end up happening. He's not long for
this job. If if you want to, if you want
(04:59):
to play the game, man, then go ahead, you can
play the game. But this is very interesting. This is
a message. I'm serious. This is a message not to Maduro.
This is a message to putin any time anywhere we
can drop you. I'm sorry. I want to apologize to
(05:20):
We do have people, especially one particular person who calls
in fairly frequently, who is very much an admirer of Putin,
and then he knows who he is, and then he
calls in with a different voice two minutes later. Seven
oh four five, seven zero eleven ten. All right, I
got something that's it's really just absolutely incredible. There are
(05:45):
things you cannot bring on an airplane. Perhaps you've heard
of this. There are things that you cannot bring on
an airplane, right, There are things that you can bring
on an airplane that are downright shocking. Just to give
you a sense, Okay, I didn't know you could take
any of these things onto an aircraft. The TSA bans
(06:09):
some new items and checked bags, you know what one
of them is. One of the things that they're banning
are cordless hair tools in checked luggage because some of
them have gas cartridges and buttane in them, which is
your band on an airplane with that. The Federal Aviation
Administration says, these kinds of cordless hair tools are banned
(06:32):
according to the street. Also, they're concerned about you bringing
on h recharger you know, recharger blocks so that you
wanted to get your best possible amount of energy out.
They're worried about that as well. But here are things
that you can take. Live lobsters are allowed through security,
(06:55):
but TSA says your lobster friend must be transported in
a clear, plastic spillproof container. A TSA officer will visually
inspect your lobster at the checkpoint. Oh, why why are you?
Why are you fondling my lobster that I'm bringing home
(07:17):
to eat tonight. I don't understand. What a weird thing
to take. You're also allowed to bring Christmas lights and
cowboy spurs and antlers. There's other stuff too, not the
least a witch coffee and espresso makers. What I'll get
(07:41):
through all this, don't worry about it. News Talk eleven
ten that ad I treat WBT Brett winterbul Show. All right,
I have to. I have to just finish this out
because this is an important thing, because there's a bunch
(08:03):
of stuff that you can bring on the flights when
you're getting on airplanes. And I mentioned the live lobsters,
they're allowed to come on the plane. Christmas lights are
allowed to come on the plane. Cowboy spurs are allowed
to come on the plane. Antlers, Isaac, how many pair
of antlers do you have? You have any antlers any way,
(08:26):
shape or form. I've got about six pair, yeah the house.
Have you ever worn the cowboy spurs and the antlers
at the same time. Oh no, not at the same time.
That's a little too much spurs. Yes, though, antlers are
allowed on board as a carry on or they can
go inside your checked bags. But there's a snag. See
(08:50):
what they did. There's a snag. You need to ensure
that the item will fit in the overhead bin or
underneath the seat of the airplane. How are you gonna
put antlers under the seat? Like you can barely get
a bag of weenies going under the seat. If the
(09:12):
antlers fit under the seat, they're not worth flying. You
must have you must have just taken out of a
baby antler. I mean, if you it's like, I got
this giant rack, where can I put it? I'm gonna
keep it on my lap for the flight, and if
anybody gets in any kind of trouble, I'm gonna I'm
gonna stab them with my antlers. Harry Potter wands. Okay,
(09:36):
now I saw that when when when Lonnie came in
a couple of weeks ago, he came in with the
Harry Potter wands. They're kind of like lightsabers. No, yeah,
not really. Coffee and espresso makers if you need an
extra jolt of energy, TSA says coffee and espresso makers
are allowed to come on the plane, but you should
(09:58):
pack it carefully and make sure all the chords are wrapped.
I have to take this coffee maker to my family.
You know, you could use Amazon, you could just have
it shipped there. I took this coffee an espresso maker
(10:19):
the entire way, and I brought you antlers. Unfortunately, the
lobsters died in transit. Who knew magic eight ball? Be careful,
don't be buying an eight ball. Just make sure you're
(10:39):
buying a magic eight ball, because if you get on
a plane with just an eight ball, you're gonna probably
have a problem, and that might have been what killed
the lobsters. All right, here we go, because everybody needs this.
They're very hard to get. Sewing machines. Sewing machines. Sewing
(11:04):
machines are allowed to fly in your checked baggage or
carry on, but Tsa says you should check with the
airline to ensure that the item will fit in the
plane's overhead bin or underneath the seat. You know how
heavy a sewing machine is, So I'm going to put
(11:24):
that up in the thing. All your stuff might have
shifted during travel and outcomes boom. And then finally, I
don't even know why you would have this. I don't
even know where you would get this. Waffle irons. Waffle
irons will go through the TSA checkpoint. I want to
(11:47):
put all the stuff in one bag, lobster, the sewing machine.
I want to put everything in a big foot locker
and have them go through it. A waffle iron. What
are you doing with a what like? Can you not
get a waffle iron where you're going? This is my
(12:09):
special waffle iron. This is the Donald Trump waffle iron
that I got in Washington, d C. To commemorate the
original winning of the election against Hillary. I mean, this
is crazy stuff. I try to get on airplanes with
(12:30):
as little as I possibly can get on Honestly, I'm
not gonna lie about this. All right, let's dive into
the crazy stuff that's going on here. Here is some
crazy stuff that you need to know. Apparently, Apparently the
Israelis are intensifying outreach to the Iranians as Tehran is
anticipating another war. This is the Long War journal Bill Roggio,
(12:57):
great guy. As Tehran continues to ready for a potential conflict,
Israel is ramping up direct appeals to the Iranian public,
offering them water technology because they have a terrible drought
in Iran right now. And bb Netanyahu has committed to
(13:21):
getting this sort of stuff into the hands of the
Iranian people because he has the experience in Israel a
very dry climate, and they're able to actually take the
water that's available and help these people to grow crops,
do things like that, and so the Iranians are not
(13:43):
happy about the outreach by bb Net Nyahu. It makes
sense though, because what bb net Yahu is saying, what
bb Net Yahou is saying, is he's saying, listen, we're
not at war with the Iranians. We're not at war
at all with the Iranians. The Iranian people are great people.
(14:05):
We want them to be able to succeed. We want
to get rid of the Mullahs, we want to get
rid of the terrorists, we want to get rid of
all that other stuff. But my gosh, we don't want
to fight a war with Iran Without any reliable nationalist
armed opposition to the regime, excluding sectarian separatist groups or
(14:29):
Islamist terror groups, the Iranian people remain the main leverage
against it. And that's what bb Netnya who's trying to do.
He's trying to get the people out into the streets
so that they will overthrow the Islamic state. They're in Iran,
and is this going to work. I'm doubtful. I'm gonna
(14:50):
be honest with you, I'm doubtful about this. But the
fact of the matter is that's kind of cool. Is
you're going to be able to possibly see a free
Iran if that happens. If that happens at some point
down the road, you have to look at that as
a Nobel prize. If you get the deal done between
(15:12):
the Iranians, the people of Iran, and the Israelis. I mean,
that is an unbelievable pick up right there, especially when
you consider the long relationships and then different periods of time,
the not so good relationships that have existed between the two.
(15:34):
This is a relationship that goes all the way back,
you know, thousands and thousands of years. And so if
you've got the leader of Israel right now coming out
and saying, we want to help the Iranians so that
they can get beyond the drought and all the stuff
that's happening. We want to aid you, we want to
do trade with you, we want to do all these things.
(15:55):
And remember, the Israelis are on the good side now
with the with the Saudi's, with cutter to a large extent,
and also with Jordan, this is the last piece that
needs to fall in place, and a shot might not
even be necessary in that regard. A lot to think about,
(16:17):
a lot to unpack coming up in just a couple
of minutes. I want to get back to the socialism thing,
because this is something that we really shouldn't be embracing.
It is a toxic, dangerous ideology and all you will
end up with is being poorer. News Talk eleven ten,
(16:49):
nine to three WBT Brett Winter Bull Show is going
to be with you seven oh four five seven zero
eleven ten Follow me on X if you want at
Winterbowl Show. And of course we have the WB text
line driven by Liberty Buick GMC. You can comment there
as well. You can reach out. It's always good to
hear from you, whether you're calling in or you are
(17:11):
contributing during that period of time where we are doing
the show. All right, let's take a look at one
of the things that has just been a horrific, horrific situation,
and that is the crash that took place last week.
And unfortunately Gavin Newsome is connected to this crash that happened.
(17:37):
When you think about bringing people into the United States
of America, not being able to speak the language, not
knowing whether or not they're able to drive a massive
eighteen wheeler, and they just get to do what they
want to do because they're in the country and we're
(17:58):
not going to try to vet them or do any
of those sorts of things. This crash that took the
lives of three people is absolutely disgusting. When people who
are driving around in Florida, or in California, or in
South Carolina or North Carolina, when they're driving, you would
(18:19):
have an expectation that you know what, they know what
they're doing, they know how to drive, they know, you know,
all the sort of stuff that needs to be handled.
These are professionals who have gone to a school to
learn how to drive an eighteen wheeler. But unfortunately, the
(18:41):
byproduct of the bad old days, the Biden days, the
Biden Harris days, this is a big, major problem. Illegal
migrant truck driver in deadly Florida crash failed English road
signed to road sign tests despite getting licenses from two
(19:06):
sanctuary states. You want to guess the first California, You
want to guess the other one Washington State. The Indian
immigrant truck driver accused of killing three people in a
crash when he made an illegal U turn across a
(19:26):
Florida highway, badly flunked English fluency and road sign tests
following the Smashup her gender, Singh answered just two of
twelve questions correctly when being tested for English language proficiency
(19:50):
by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration after the April
twelfth crash, and when asked to read highway signs and
their meanings, sing could only identify one out of four
signs shown to him. That's the kind of guy you
(20:11):
want on the roads. That's exactly the kind of guy
you want on the roads. Despite these failures, sing who
was believed to have been in the United States since
twenty eighteen, had been granted a commercial driver's license in
California and Washington State a CDL. Imagine we have CDL
(20:34):
drivers in our audience. Imagine you spent a lot of
money to try to get certified. You understand the rules
of the road, You understand all this sort of stuff.
This crash was a preventable tragedy, directly caused by reckless
decisions and compounded by despicable failures said Sean Duffy. Non
(20:57):
enforcement and radical immigration popes have turned the trucking industry
into a lawless frontier. So you don't know when you're
driving down the road who you're driving alongside with. You
don't know what your kids are doing. You don't know
who is there. You don't know if they're allowed to
drive in the country. Why why is this? Why? Why
(21:20):
is this? All three people in the van were killed
while footage from inside sings cab showed him apparently unmoved
by the carnage that was unfolding outside. You can kind
of see him sort of basically saying, my bad, my bad.
(21:41):
I shouldn't I shouldn't have turned the truck that way.
That's my bad. We'll, we'll, we'll, we'll try to do
it again next time. Federal law has mandated for decades
that CDL holders must be able to speak English sufficiently
enough to convert with the public and read road signs,
(22:03):
said Duffy. And in California, CDL tests are administered or
administered only in English, but if you happen to be
in Washington State, well son of a gun. Washington State
allows tests to be taken in English, Spanish, Russian and
(22:29):
Serbo Croatian. Yeah, what is this? Exactly how sing was
able to obtain a license under those parameters remains unclear,
but the DOT said it intends to find out. We
will use every tool at our disposal to hold these
states and bad actors out of them. Okay, so let's think
(22:53):
about this for a second. Who is the governor of
the state of California Newsom? Gavin Newsom wants to be
the president. Gavin Newsom thinks he can make the country
great again. Under the first Trump administration, he was denied
this character was denied a work permit, but was granted
(23:13):
one in twenty twenty one under the Biden presidency, details
which sparked a social media spat between California Governor Gavin
Newsom's office and the Department of Homeland Security. Singh received
his Washington CDL in twenty twenty three and his California
(23:36):
license in twenty twenty four. The DOT said he was
arrested in California Saturday by US marshals on three counts
of vehicular homicide. Hold on a second, why should Gavin
Newsom get to skit skit right by this? Why should
he be that? Why shouldn't he be You know what,
here's what I'm recommending. I want Ron DeSantis to impanel
(24:03):
a grand jury in Florida. Impanel a grand jury in Florida,
and push with all your might to bring charges in
your state against the governor who gave this guy the
(24:25):
right to do what he decided he was going to do.
Put Gavin Newsom on trial. Well, who else is responsible
for this? Is it Trump? It's not Trump's fault, It's
nobody else's fault. It's Gavin Newsom who gave him the
license in twenty twenty four. Gavin Newsom is the guy
(24:47):
who's responsible, and Gavin Newsom has to be held to account. Now,
who's laughing, Gavin? Now? Who's laughing? News Talk eleven ten
at nine three WBT Brett whatever show. Thank you very
much for being here joining us. It is great to
(25:09):
be with you. So, if you go back in time
to the pardon stuff that was going on with Joe Biden,
President Biden at the time was flagged, was flagged. The
DOJ's folks flagged the president's problematic pardons and warned violent
(25:30):
inmates could be released. Joe Biden's Justice Department expressed concern
that the incoming Trump administration could overturn clemency orders because
of undefined language. So what does that mean. At least
one senior official warned the Biden Whitehouse that the president's
(25:54):
blanket pardons were problematic because of unclear intent. A new
internal Justice Department communication shows the official. Associate Deputy Attorney
General Brad Weinsheimer, told the Office of the White House
(26:14):
Council that unclear directions from the White House on which
inmates were covered by the commutation orders could result in
unintended consequences, including the release of violent prisoners. Contrary to
President Biden's public statements, I think the language offenses described
(26:38):
to the Department of Justice in the warrant is highly problematic,
and in order to resolve its meaning appropriately and consistent
with the President's intent, we will need a statement or
direction from the President as to how to interpret the language.
(27:01):
Weinsheimer wrote to the White House. So, this guy is
sort of a modern day Paul Revere, right saying, listen,
this is dangerous. We don't know if these are gonna
be legit. We don't know if this is gonna work.
We don't know how this is gonna happen. Weinsheimer also
warned that the White House had no clarifications. In essence,
(27:23):
describing offenses to the Department is a conditioned precedent to
the commutations being effective. So if they didn't really go
through the process to try to figure out whether or
not these were legit, it means you've got a whole
bunch of criminals walking around who may or may not
be eligible to be commuted. But who are we kidding?
(27:47):
Who are we kidding? This is regression to the mean,
This is getting back to that basic line that you
knew was probably going to happen. Among those who received
clemency are Russell Macintosh, who's Russell McIntosh. Russell McIntosh was
(28:09):
responsible for killing a woman and her two year old
child to protect his drug operation. Stephen Fowler, who ordered
someone tortured, and Plays Anderson, who was implicated in murders
and kidnappings. But they're fine, they were They're sorry, they
(28:33):
didn't mean it. Biden has come under fire for his
administration's use of autopen to sign commutation warrants and other
official orders. Is it impossible to think that people who
were serving up these folks uh to be commuted might
have been taking money. Is it possible that they might
(28:56):
have been bribed to get the commutation? Because I don't
know about you, but Russell Macintosh responsible for killing a
woman and her two year old child to protect his
drug operation. Does that sound like somebody who's made a
good effort. Stephen Fowler who ordered someone tortured. I'm not
(29:20):
gonna torture anybody when I get out, I promise, I'm
really not. I swear and plays Anderson, who was implicated
in murders and kidnappings. Yeah, I'm not doing that anymore.
Don't worry about me. I'm a totally new man. Why
didn't the press, seriously, why didn't the press go knock
on the doors of these people's houses and ask him? So,
what's the story with you? More Morning glory? Come on?
(29:43):
What's going on? It's questionable whether or not it's legal
to use an auto pen on a legal document. I'm
gonna go with Nona, I'm gonna go with I don't
think he actually can do that on a document. I
think you have to actually have the real signature. But
what's not questionable is if President of the United States
had no idea what was being signed with the use
(30:06):
of the auto pen in his name. Well, House Oversight
Chairman Committee James Comer previously told Just the News, Well
then now you know it's not legal. Huh wow. So
(30:26):
so basically we just sprung a whole bunch of people.
What does that say? Like if you were Jill Biden,
wouldn't you be upset about this? Wouldn't you be upset
about this? Wouldn't you be like, wait, oh what happened?
This is terrible, This shouldn't happened. What am I doing?
(30:50):
Oh my? What am I? What am I doing? I mean,
what what what is this? You know? I mean, just
looking at this? How is this supposed to go? I
think it's disgraceful. I think it's disgusting, and I think
it's completely unfair to people who may actually be deserving
(31:13):
of a second chance. And instead they just decided they
were going to throw caution to the wind and hope
that maybe nobody would really kind of totally find out
about what was going on. Awful, awful That man should
never have been the President of the United States, and
(31:34):
the misery that we could have saved without him being
the President of the United States would have been unbelievable.
(31:55):
News talk eleven ten out of nine to three WBT.
Coming up to the bottom of the hour, Carlos Sands
going to join us. We'll talk about all the big
stuff that's happening as it relates to the rest of
the world. And then, of course, and the five point
thirty five slot will be joined by former Congresswoman doctor
Nan Hayworth. She's gonna be spending time with us here
as well. In the beginning of the last hour, I
(32:17):
was talking about the idea of socialism, Okay, and I'm
very curious maybe perhaps you guys are flirting with the
notion of socialism. Maybe you think socialism is something that's
kind of cool, something that's kind of sexy, something that's
kind of exotic. It's entirely possible that you guys feel
that way. There are people out there who are going
(32:37):
to be in many ways seduced by the socialism. Why
because nobody has to pay for anything, nobody has to
worry about anything, nobody has to worry about food or
shelter or anything. The stuff all just shows up. So
(33:00):
there's a piece that's at the Washington Examiner by David
hars SONNANYI is socialism as popular as the media think
democratic socialists. Forget that. I'm not even gonna call him
democratic socialists. I'm gonna call him socialists. I'm sorry, I
(33:22):
have to be honest. It's not democratic socialism, it's socialism.
Socialists have been getting the teen age idle treatment from
the giddy reporters and editors at legacy media outlets for years.
Their newest crush is on the Jihadi apologist and Marxist
(33:43):
New York City mayoral candidate Zorhan Mamdami. In a forty
five hundred word cover story about Mandami of Zorhan Mandami,
(34:03):
Time Magazine paints a caricature of a well meaning, authentic,
and not really so radical go get her an ideologue
interested in creative solutions. Is how Time puts it. Puts
(34:25):
it where I think we can guess. Sure, Mamdani might
support genocidal rhetoric, but the Jewish community will be pleased
to learn that he often talked about the problem of
anti Semitism and the need for anti hate crime funding.
(34:45):
This is David Harsoni talking about this. It's not me
talking about this. This is David Harsani. Is Mamdami, as
many would have it, a generational talent whose campaign should
be mimicked nation by Democrats. For me, it's difficult to
see the meaning and the trope ridden rhetoric that he offers.
(35:07):
I think the most important thing the candidate, who like
most socialists, is a child of privileged, notes that it
is that people see themselves and their struggles in your campaign.
That's some really deep stuff. His creative solutions entail fresh
ideas like rent control, a policy Mamdani benefits from personally,
(35:34):
and it was instituted in nineteen forty three. And this
guy is taking advantage of the people in New York.
He's a rich, spoiled, exotic sort of dude who's coming
in from the far far East and thinking that he's
going to remake New York City. While journalists are mightily impressed,
(35:59):
the truth is that Mandami is running in a hard
left city against a gaggle of unlikable, corrupt has been Democrats.
Much like Representative Alexandria Ocasio Cortes, or as people call her,
all out crazy. His fame is propelled by his radicalism
(36:24):
and youth. Neither of them has passed a single consequential
piece of legislation, nor have they come up with a
new idea, much less a solution, or delivered a memorable speech.
They're famous for being famous anyway. As one commenter pointed out,
(36:49):
New York City is already something of a socialist city,
with forty percent of its residents living in rent control departments,
six hundred thousand working for the city, and another six
hundred thousand working for nonprofits nonprofits. Would you like some profits? No,
I don't want any profits at all. I want nonprofits
(37:10):
twenty four to seven, three sixty five. Please. I don't
want to have filthy lucre in my hand. Luca's another
way of saying money. I don't want you to be offended.
You may recall that the elegant gown that all out
crazy donned with the slogan tax the Rich written on
(37:30):
by the twenty twenty one metgala where guests selected vogues
Anna wind tours offerings. That dress that she wore that
said tax the rich, that costs thirty five thousand dollars.
(37:50):
Do any of you have a thirty five thousand dollars
dress where you put graffiti on it and you walk
around and you go, I'm just one of the people. Well,
bring out your people a pop to hobnob with the
rich and the famous is that you, Well, the top
one percent pay about forty eight percent of New York
(38:12):
City's bills, and the point oh one percent pay nearly
thirty one percent. New York's top one percent pay a
combined fifty two percent top tax rate fifty two percent.
The City of New York is stupid. New York does
not understand that people do not have to stay there.
(38:36):
And my hope, my dream, my call is that if
Mom Dami does get elected, I hope the administration in Washington,
DC decides to put on a full blockade. Nobody gets in,
nobody gets out. Let's see how long it takes before
you guys figure it out. News Talk eleven ten nine
(39:07):
nine three WBT, It's the Brettwinterbule Show.
Speaker 2 (39:09):
Good to be with you.
Speaker 1 (39:09):
Okay. So, like with the idea of socialism that they're
trying to push, there's there has to be a way
to teach these people that you don't touch the stove
when it's hot, because they think that like I could
touch the stove, Oh I want everything's gonna be No,
you're gonna get burned. You're gonna get burned. This is
what's gonna happen. And I don't want to see the
(39:31):
next generation of people end up being poorer than they are.
So let me give you a breakdown really quick, and
then I've got to fix for this. I know how
we can fix this. You're welcome. Socialism's actually an ancient belief.
(39:52):
Ideas resembling socialism date all the way back to antiquity.
You know who was one of the first bullet levers
in this stupidity, Plato. Plato's republic imagined a communal society,
and at one point in time early Christian communities practiced
(40:13):
forms of shared ownership. But that's not socialism, that's sharing
what you have. Utopian visions came about in the sixteenth century.
Thomas Moore's Utopia described a society without private property, inspiring
(40:34):
later thinkers such as the real big dirt bag himself,
Karl Marx. When did it begin well early in the
eighteen hundreds. The term socialism emerged about the eighteen thirties
in France and Britain, used to describe thinkers who opposed
(40:59):
capitalist exploitation and advocated collective ownership. Any of you guys
have a car. I know you have a car. Because
we do traffic reports. Imagine that you need to go
to a doctor tomorrow, but you're gonna be part of
a group that's going to share the car. You're gonna
(41:22):
do that. You're not gonna do that. You know you're
not gonna do that. You want your own car, or
you might want to call an uber, you might want
to call whatever it is is available. In eighteen forty eight,
the Stinky bedridden Freak Carl Marx and Friedrich Engels published
the Communist Manifesto, marking the birth of scientific socialism. What
(41:47):
a stupid phrase?
Speaker 2 (41:49):
You know?
Speaker 1 (41:50):
It's scientific? Is it? How did you test it? So
it's a turning point, shifting socialism from utopian idea to
revolutionary theory. Why does it resonate? Socialism gained traction because
it promised economic justice, workers' rights, public welfare, a challenge
(42:19):
to the entrenched elites. It evolved into various forms democratic socialism,
social democracy, Marxism, an Arco syndicism, all of that sort
of stuff, all these different things. You know what, you
could just call it poverty. You just call it poverty.
The word is poverty. Poverty has been around forever. Sometimes
(42:43):
people are poor because they're lazy and they don't want
to do work. Sometimes people are not able to do
work right. You have people that are sick or harmed
or something like that, and then you've got people who
think I can do it better than ever before. We
can perfect this. That's boot edge edge edge Edge, that's
(43:05):
boot edge Edge. That's smelly Bernie Sanders, that's Elizabeth Warren,
that's all those people. Oh, we can get it to work,
exactly right. We just need a sexy man like Mandami
to come in. From now on, I'm gonna refer to
him as my dummy. I think it's a much more
(43:25):
accurate way of going. So how are we going to
stop people from subscribing to socialism? There's only one way,
and it's the weapon that they choose that we now
get to use. This is one of the greatest things
(43:47):
that we can do to the idiot socialist. Are you
ready because this is gonna work. That, this will absolutely work. No. No, Oh,
I'm not advocating for more abortions. Stop it. That's not nice. No,
we're not deporting anybody. We're not doing any of that.
(44:08):
That's not nice either. Here's what we're gonna do, and
I want you to be with me on this. This
may be my next crusade. And I'm using the word crusade.
There's only one way to get these idiots to give
up socialism. There's only one way. Sh Listen. We're gonna
(44:35):
tax the socialists. We're gonna tax them confiscatory rates. We're
gonna take everything from them, but about ten k a year.
That's what we're gonna do. Oh, you guys want the socialism,
you gotta fund the socialism. Don't tell me you're poor.
Give me, give me ninety percent of all your stuff,
(44:57):
and then we're gonna give you back one percent of that. No,
that's how you do it. You make them smoke the
whole pack of cigarettes, You make them do all the
stuff that you want to be a socialist. Then we're
taxing you to the hilt, and we're gonna go in
a regressive style. We're gonna tax the poor the most
(45:20):
on the sliding scale. You know why, because it means
more that sacrifice that you want, that sacrifice that you
need to be a part of. You gotta really live it, man,
you gotta let I don't look. I'm in fairly good shape,
fairly good shape, and I know I could not be
(45:41):
a navy seal. I couldn't be a navy seal even
when I was like in really good shape. You got
just gotta be wired a little differently. Okay, But I'm
not stupid enough to go and try to become a
navy seal and get hurt. Now, you young people, you
(46:02):
young skulls full of mush as Rush used to call them.
You guys, you guys need to really get the emphasis
of being a socialist. I want you wearing sackcloth, or
I want you wearing a loin cloth, standing on the
(46:22):
corner and showing everybody how socialist you really are. Let's
see who's the most socialist person in the entire community,
in every community. We're just gonna take your money and
we're gonna give you ten percent as a tithe. Let's
see how you like it. I think it's gonna be
(46:44):
really good. Well, we're gonna get housing. No, you have
to buy it. You have to, you have to pay
for it. Out of that, you wanna believe in socialism,
Let's believe in socialism. And what we're gonna do is
we're gonna go in opposite directions. This is how we
fix the problem. Like I said, we're gonna make you
smoke the whole pack of cigarettes. We're gonna make you
(47:05):
smoke the entire carton of cigarettes, and say, isn't this awesome?
How great is this socialist these these cigarettes that were
made by socialists. Oh, I'm feeling so good now, it's
so wonderful. We're gonna tax you. It is time to
tax the socialists with confiscatory rates. And you know what's
(47:27):
gonna happen. They're gonna have to go and pick up
a second job, and we're gonna take that money too.
And you're gonna get a third job, and we're gonna
take that money too, Because you have to be a
real believer. Be a believer, not a Justin Bieber. That
was stupid. News Talk eleven ten did nine three WB.
(48:00):
It's the Brett Winterbull Show. It is great to be
with you, and I'm happy to welcome to the program
somebody whose work is really really important. Carlas Sands is
a businesswoman and a former United States Ambassador to Denmark.
And it is a pleasure to have you on the
program here today. Thanks so much for making time for us.
Speaker 3 (48:18):
Hey, Brett, it's great to be with you. Thanks for
having me.
Speaker 1 (48:21):
Your thoughts on what we're seeing. You're obviously part of
the American First, America First Policy Institute, and I'm curious
about what you're seeing in terms of the big meeting
that took place not just in Alaska, but obviously in
the last couple of days. Are you buying into what
(48:43):
this looks like when it comes to getting peace in
that part of the world.
Speaker 3 (48:48):
Oh, my gosh, Brett, it's so exciting. I mean, it
would never have happened without President Trump taking this on
and determining he's going to be the president of peace.
He's already and it's six cons flicks And what is
historic day? Both Friday and then unbelievably Monday. To have
all those European leaders and Zelensky in the Oval with
(49:10):
the President a historic day stunning. I've never seen that
many world leaders in the Oval Office in my lifetime,
and I don't think it's ever happened before, Brett.
Speaker 1 (49:20):
And it was so interesting to see the deferential nature
of that relationship that that photograph that I think will
go down in history with him sitting behind the Resolute
Desk and all of those leaders sort of in a
in a hemisphere in front of him. But how do
we how do we know that with all the goodwill
(49:41):
that's coming from the West, that it will be appreciated
by Putin? How do we how do we hold him
to account? You've certainly seen him in action and you
understand what the stakes are, But can you give us
a little idea as to how it is that we're
going to be able to enforce this?
Speaker 3 (50:00):
Yeah, well, there's a couple of points. Number One, the
war would end tomorrow if China withdrew at the port
of Russia. There's money, there's manpower, all kinds of components
and military equipment going from China to Russia. There's also
over twenty thousand North Korean troops on the ground fighting
on behalf of Russia, and so this war would end
(50:23):
up China pulled the plug. Now, why did Putin go
to Alaska to meet with President Trump when he had
been so you know President Trump had reached out. Well,
because President Trump is threatening huge tariffs on India, which
buys a lot of Russian energy at sub market prices,
and also China buys that energy from Russia. And then
(50:45):
also the businessmen in Russia. Within Russia, they want to
make Russia great again. They're on a wartime footing. They're
a pariah nation. Nobody decent will do business with them
right now. And if they can open up their markets,
their country's economy is going to get on a better
footing and people are going to make a lot of money.
(51:06):
So there's pressure from within from his businessmen, the investors.
There's pressure from without India, China, and there are other
nations in the world buying that rushing gas. That thread
of fifty to one hundred percent care wow, that thread
from Trump. So between those two things, I think that's
why Putin sat down to meet with Trump, because you know,
he's inch by inch he's winning the war.
Speaker 1 (51:29):
As you were spending time with the president, over the
course of a number of years, he has certainly been
a force, I mean an absolute force, but he also
is very much he's very much contented by seeing not
(51:51):
a full blown war, but if you have to take
out nuclear facilities like you saw in Iran, he's trying
to do it in the smallest possible footprint, so that
these are countries that don't end up in ruins. That's
an important thing too, isn't it.
Speaker 3 (52:08):
Well it is so President Trump being the peace president
is not afraid to use weapons of war to stop something,
to make a point, to change the trajectory of history. However,
in this case with Russia, Russia is Russia in the
US are the two biggest nuclear powers in the world.
(52:30):
And you know, people start to glibally say, well, you know,
Trump can just go in and level Moscow. Well, that's
mutually assured destruction. President Trump often talks about how he
doesn't even want to say the word nuclear because he
doesn't want to end humanity as we know. It's because
that's what would happen, and so he is avoiding World
(52:50):
War three through his incredible, like breasttaking diplomacy.
Speaker 1 (52:57):
What keeps you awake at night when you think about
the challenges that the country faces, is there is there
some particular thing that stands out to you that we
ought to be maybe keeping an eye on as well.
Speaker 3 (53:11):
Well. So you know, I sleep like a baby, thank god.
But what would or could keep me up at night.
It's the challenge of the Chinese Communist Party and the
absolute hybrid war that they're waging on the US for
many years. Every Chinese citizen is compelled to steel information
and take it back to China, even Chinese tourists, Chinese students,
(53:32):
Chinese business people, they are compelled by Chinese law that
was passed in twenty nineteen to bring back everything that
they can. And they're all obliged to bring some goodies
back when they visit the United States or live here,
and so they are all feeling online, in person, working,
and they're compelled. So if they're relative they're in China,
(53:54):
you know, there's pressure on people to toe the line.
They buy on each other, that we chat and all
the different Chinese apps are spying on the users, and
so they're feeling they steal more IP than any country
and all their countries combined every year. I think it's
about five hundred billion dollars that they feel they sold
(54:14):
the F three five plans, that's right, arm R THEOD
just as an example, and so it's it's a challenge
that they're going to try to win the war against
us without firing a shots. They try to destabilize our society.
They fund organization the Palaestine, the pro Palestini. Your organization,
you'll find Chinese money and Chinese agitators. So they're working
(54:36):
to destroy our society from within.
Speaker 1 (54:39):
The idea of the fifth column is just it's a
very frightening reality and we've got to definitely pursue this.
Carlo Sans, Ambassador Sands, I appreciate you spending time with
us here today on the program. Thank you so much
for being a part of the conversation. Oh my pleasure much. Fred,
absolutely you as well. New Stalk eleventh ed ninety nine
to three WB see what's head on over Tuck News
(55:15):
Doug eleven ten, not a nine to three WBT. It's
the brettwuer Bull Show. I want you guys to really
think about something here for a second, A very serious
thing for a second. Okay, do you ever think about
Chuck Todd. Chuck Todd is very sad. Chuck Todd is
incredibly sad. Cut number twenty seven. Listen to how sad
(55:36):
Chuck Todd is because of the culture of America. Now,
cut twenty seven. I missed the joy of it.
Speaker 4 (55:42):
I used to say that, you know, I used to
say I covered I was Hubert Humphrey's memoir was called
The Politics a Joy, and I always loved that. Which
is you know, hey, look it's you know, I enjoy it.
I still enjoy it. Unfortunately now. I mean, you know,
the way Trump practices it, it is made it less joyful, right,
It has just sucked the joy out of it, both
(56:04):
left and right in different ways. And you know, try
having a light moment and a political show and it's
like you're not being serious or you're you know, it
is a it has become what used to be really
easy to sort of have some levity in a political discussion.
It's been really hard in the Trump era. You know,
look look at political comedians. They have a hard time. Yeah,
(56:27):
he didn't have any problem with political comedians from twenty fifteen,
you know, before twenty fifteen, and here we are today.
Speaker 1 (56:34):
He was talking to Colin Coward. He didn't even give
him a word. You got it, like a half a
word in Chuck. Come on, man, you you you practically
were able to go and put a a ski mask
on your face to pick up your check because what
did you what was the add on that you brought
(56:56):
to the table. It is it is so easy. The
easiest job in the entire world is to be an
anchor on MSNBC or CNN. That's the easiest job in
the whole world because you don't do anything that steps
(57:17):
out from the narrative that you're told in the morning,
and I'm telling you it exists. The notes go out
early in the morning, and there's a reason why if
you don't believe me, If you don't believe me tomorrow morning,
maybe you're gonna be on your way to work. But
if you leave like at seven o'clock in the morning,
(57:39):
just for that first five to eight minutes, Okay, watch ABC, NBC,
and CBS. They will have the exact narrative, the exact
narrative with the exact same positioning. It's why somebody like
Margaret Brennan is shocked when Marco Rubio comes at her
(58:05):
because she's like, oh, we totally know what's going on,
Vladimir Putin and we totally know what's going on. And
Marco Rubio has to straighten her out, and she's shocked
that he has to straighten her out. It's Wackoville. So
you see how everybody's in love with Mumdami, right, you see, Oh,
Mundami's the guy. Mundami's the guy. Mundahmi's the guy. You
(58:27):
want to know who blew the lid off of Mandami.
Naomi Wolf very reliable, leftist, very reliable sort of a person. Listen,
this is cut number twenty four. She absolutely takes this
guy apart, and it's in a pretty difficult kind of way.
(58:48):
Twenty four, you know, for very long.
Speaker 5 (58:50):
And American, which he's really shocking because he came to
the United States at seven and so you can't fault
him from seven to eighteen being a Ugandan citizen in America,
though I don't quite get how that was possible. But
from eighteen to twoenty eighteen, and for eleven adult years,
(59:12):
Zora and Mamdani remained in the United States, not an
American citizen, not naturalized, fully a Ugandan citizen from the
public record, he went to private school in New York,
but then as an adult he went to Boden in
the United States as a Ugandan, you know, on a
Ugandan passport. Stayed in the US and had a bunch
(59:36):
of not very serious jobs that lasted only a few months.
He's never really had a real job, no business background.
Speaker 1 (59:43):
One of the jobs was working.
Speaker 5 (59:44):
For his mom again, the famous film director A Mira Nair.
So really nothing of distinction, but always fully Ugandan until
twenty eighteen, right before he ran for Queen's Assembly and
at that point, eleven years into being an adult in
the United States of America, benefiting from American education, American culture,
(01:00:07):
everything New York has to offer. At that point, he
became naturalized, but he did not decide to just become
an American citizen, even though he claims to then represent
the people of Queen's Steve. He kept his passport. He
became a dual Uganda American citizen. To this day, he
(01:00:28):
is a dual citizen. So he can't This makes me
so mad. He can't bring himself as an assembly member
in the United States of America to just give up
his other citizenship in a country, by the way, that
is one of the worst human rights violators on the
entire planet. Right, he has not need you gone to
(01:00:49):
better in his whole life. Ganda still you know, barely
got rid of the death penalty for homosexuality and still
has long prison sentences for homosexuality. You know, suppress his
free speech, goes after opponents of the regime. Horrible society
he wants. He would rather keep his passport to that
(01:01:11):
nation than just be in America.
Speaker 1 (01:01:13):
That is so shady, Like, why would you want to
be the mayor of the biggest city in the country
and you're not fully invested. It's like, Hey, I'm just
going to be famous for being famous, and then I'm
gonna go scadadle back over to Uganda and I'll just
you know what, I don't have to come back to
the United States. Man, forget it. It's not gonna matter
(01:01:33):
because maybe I'm here. Is Mundami on a mission? Has
Mundami been programmed to be part of a mission of
some sort of a thing? Is this maybe money coming
in from shady characters who want the city of New
York to change irreparably? Is that what he Because that's
(01:02:00):
what it sounds like. That's what Naomi Wolf is alluding to,
Like why would you keep your Ugandan citizenship if you're
an American who is going to be running the biggest
city in the country. Like, who, Well, that's certainly interesting,
(01:02:20):
isn't it. I mean, I just wonder why. I'm not
saying there's dual loyalties. I'm not saying that at all.
I'm just saying it's it's it's kind of like saying, hey, honey,
I love you so much, I want to marry you.
I just but I but I gotta get away from
you every week, you know, And I gotta go spend
(01:02:42):
time with my with my other with my other lady.
That's what I I know. It's weird, right, it's kind
of freaky. It's kind of freaky, deeky. But I gotta,
I gotta, I just gotta. I just can't be with
only you. I have to be with her as well.
That's weird. That's what he's basically doing. Dudes Talk eleven
(01:03:22):
ten ninety nine three WBT, it's the Brett Wintererbule Show.
Seven oh four five seven zero eleven ten. It's good
to be with you. Coming up later in this hour,
I've got another great guest who's going to be joining us.
We're going to be talking about the direction of the
country and more importantly, the direction of how the nation
(01:03:44):
needs to pivot, and doctor Nan Hayworth is going to
be joining us, former congresswoman, and looking forward to that
at five thirty five. I'm certainly going to be very
interesting to see how all this stuff goes. If you're
not guilty of something, why would you set up a
(01:04:09):
legal defense fund? Adam Schiff has set up a legal
defense fund because of what exactly. Adam Shiff just formed
a legal defense fund as he prepares to be what
(01:04:30):
some people believe, indicted for a mortgage fraud by Special
Prosecutor Ed Martin. Ed Martin is a special prosecutor. You're
going to hear from two different circumstances when Ed Martin
comes out. If Ed Martin is the guy who's going
to be handling the Shift case, do you know what
(01:04:53):
else he's going to be handling. He's going to be
handling the Letitia James case. And this is a very
difficult time if you think about how high in the
saddle you saw the Senator from California writing Special Prosecutor
(01:05:15):
Ed Martin calls on Letitia James to resign as New
York Attorney General as his mortgage fraud investigation is heating up.
These are two sides of the same coin, the Letitia
James case, and of course what's happening with Adam Schiff.
Special Prosecutor Ed Martin put the New York Attorney General
(01:05:42):
Letitia James unnoticed after her attorney Abby Lowell, he also
served as Hunter Biden's attorney, publicly leaked a letter he
wrote to Pam Bondi, US Attorney General. Pam Bondi recently
(01:06:03):
appointed the DOJ official Ed Martin as a special prosecutor
to investigate Democrat Senator Adam Schiff and New York Attorney
General Letitia James over allegations of mortgage fraud. Ed Martin
called on Letisha James to resign as the New York
at attorney General at this time. Latitia James would best
(01:06:25):
serve the good of the state and the nation by
resigning from office to address the issues in the referral.
Ed Martin wrote in a letter to Abbey Lowell, these
are the guys that are going to be swinging at
each other. It's a big deal. The Trump administration recently
criminally referred the Attorney General Letitia James to the Justice
(01:06:48):
Department over accusations of mortgage fraud. The Federal Housing Finance
Agency FHFA accused Letitia James of falsifying rect records, citing
a five unit property in New York that she claimed
was only four units in order to get a more
favorable loan. TGP recently reported on this five unit property
(01:07:20):
in Brooklyn that Latisha James purchased in two thousand and one.
For more than twenty years, Latisha James repeatedly claimed her
Brooklyn apartment building was a four unit property on mortgage applications,
despite official records proving it was five. So that's a
(01:07:43):
factor of twenty percent more. This is not a minor discrepancy.
Lying to the bank about the unit count enabled Latisha
James to secure more favorable loans, including a twenty eleven
Home Affordable Modification Program loan that saved her tens of
thousands of dollars annually. On Friday, ed Martin was spotted
(01:08:08):
outside of her Brooklyn home. As a grand jury is
weighing a criminal indictment in his mortgage fraud investigation. One
of Letitia James's neighbors confronted ed Martin as he inspected
James's five unit property. DOJ special attorney checked out Tish
(01:08:33):
James's mortgage fraud home after being tapped for probes. So
this is an interesting thing, but it is not the
only interesting thing. The other interesting thing that comes down
the line is, of course Adam Schiff who recorded his
(01:08:54):
Maryland address and not his California address for the purpose
of doing a refinance, and now Ed Martin is going
to look into that. But there's even more There's even
more when you look at the rest of the issues
that are in play. What if I told you, I
(01:09:16):
know it's hard to follow all this. What if I
told you that Bill Pulty has found in his belief
Bill Poulty runs Fannie Mae Freddiemck. He has caught allegedly
(01:09:37):
one of the people who's in charge of the Federal
Reserve alleging mortgage fraud. President Donald Trump demanded Federal Reserve
Governor Lisa Cook's immediate resignation. Federal Housing Finance Agency direct
(01:10:00):
Bill Poulty urged the Department of Justice to launch a
criminal investigation related to Cook's mortgage records. The remarks show
that Trump is expanding his attacks on the FED beyond
its chairman Jerome Powell as he pressures the Central Bank
(01:10:20):
to slash the raids. The head of the President's Housing
regulatory Agency said Wednesday that the Federal Reserve Governor Lisa
Cook should resign or be fired for cause over what
he claims is evidence of mortgage Is everybody committing mortgage fraud?
(01:10:45):
These rich people are committing mortgage fraud. How's your refine going?
I mean, this is unbelievable and Poultie's got the docs.
On June eighteen, twenty twenty one, ms Cook acquired a
loan on the property at X Avenue and Arbor, Michigan,
(01:11:10):
and entered into a fifteen year mortgage agreement with the
University of Michigan Credit Union for two hundred and three
thousand dollars plus interest. According to the mortgage agreement entered
into with the University of Michigan Credit Union, ms Cook
represented to use the property as borrowers principal residence within
(01:11:33):
sixty days after the execution of the security instrument and
shall continue to occupy the property as borrowers principal residents
for at least one year after the date of the
of the deal. Guess what happened. She went to Atlanta,
(01:11:56):
Georgia and lived in Atlanta. D I mean, this is
this is the scam. This is the scam that is
going on here, folks. This is not going to stand
because you follow the rules. I follow the rules. Everybody
else we know follows the rules. And now suddenly because
(01:12:16):
you're a very famous person, or you're a high profile person,
or you're any of those sorts of things, you don't
have to follow the rules. Boy, I'd love to have
that deal. Here's talk eleven ten and I'm three WBT.
(01:12:37):
So here's a terrible story, and it's coming out of California.
And the reason why I'm going to share this with
you is I have a total belief that this is
going to migrate our way. Okay, it's not space alien
stuff or anything like that. It's not any of that.
We don't joke around. This is a very serious story Spectrum.
(01:12:59):
The company says latest southern California outage is the result
of felony criminal attacks. So these people have got internet
just like we have Internet. Officials at Spectrum are offering
a twenty five thousand dollars reward after one of the
internet and cable companies fiber lines were intentionally cut in
(01:13:25):
the north Ridge area of Los Angeles, resulting in a
temporary outage for customers in the surrounding area. But this
is a very important thing that's going to be coming
down here in a second. The telecommunication company has faced
repeated acts of vandalism on its equipment that cause widespread outages.
(01:13:49):
Criminal attacks on communications infrastructure is a growing issue affecting
the entire telecommunications industry, not just Spectrum. The company said
in a news release. These acts are not only a crime,
but they threatened public safety. Why In the most recent incident,
(01:14:11):
according to a company spokesperson, it happened in the middle
of the afternoon on Wednesday. Extra technicians were brought in
and were working overnight to splice more than sixteen hundred
fibers to make repairs and restore their service to customers.
(01:14:34):
This is going to go on for a long period
of time. But in June, the company described criminal acts
of network vandalism that was happening that led to more
than a thirty hour outage for fifty thousand customers across
Los Angeles and Ventura Counties and other nearby communities. Among
(01:14:59):
those impact acted were a US military base, emergency Dispatch
nine one one, communication services, local fire and police departments,
financial institutions, court buildings, health care facilities, hospitals, educational institutions,
(01:15:26):
as well as cell to tours providing mobile services. Because
of those victims, as well as the number of the
fiber cuts the extent of damage, the parent company says
it has deemed the June fifteenth attack an act of
(01:15:48):
domestic terrorism. The LAPD said in a statement at the
time that the incident was being investigated as a just
a case of felony vandalism. Ah, you see how stupid
they are out there, Like they're so stupid out there. Okay,
(01:16:09):
the group who is hurt most says, this is what
happens when it's terrorism, LAPD. That's nothing to see here.
Don't worry about it. It's totally fine.
Speaker 6 (01:16:23):
This.
Speaker 1 (01:16:23):
I'm gonna tell you this right now. You heard it
from our guest that we just had about an hour
and a half ago. She said, the chicoms are the
biggest offenders when it comes to trying to cause problems.
And I would argue, I would argue that that sounds
like just about what's right since you just took out
(01:16:46):
a military base, military base, hospitals, financial institutions, people's houses
are communications device it, I mean, what is this? Why
are we putting up with this? Cut number twenty nine,
Get a load of this. Go well.
Speaker 7 (01:17:07):
Two boys are being called guilty of sexual harassment and
sex based discrimination under Title nine for asking fellow students
why there was a girl who identifies as a boy
in their boys' locker room. Fox News obtained video of
the incident through a Freedom of information request. Adding insult
to injury. The biological girl student was videotaping in the
(01:17:29):
locker room in a changing area against school policy. The
punishment for the boys, according to their legal counsel, ten
day suspensions, threatening their academic futures.
Speaker 6 (01:17:41):
The public school system is targeting these boys, plain and simple.
They're irritated and having a complaint session among themselves in
a locker room, and LCBS wants to make an example
of them, frankly and wants to tell other students that
if you cross their wok ideology, this is what's going
to happen to you.
Speaker 7 (01:18:00):
Virginia Lieutenant Governor wins some Earl Sears, the GOP nominee
for governor, offered this reaction on X quote for all
the moms and dads out there, let me say what
you're thinking.
Speaker 1 (01:18:10):
This is not normal.
Speaker 7 (01:18:12):
It is not normal to force boys and girls to
share locker rooms. It is not normal to punish kids
for their fears. All parents want is a little normalcy.
That's what I'm fighting for. The Assistant Attorney General for
Civil Rights, Harmy Dillon, saying about this incident, quote, this
is very wrong and it will not stand.
Speaker 1 (01:18:34):
They're trying to take your Country News Talk eleven to ten,
not nine to three WBT. Brettwitterable show. Good to be
with you, and I am so honored to be welcome
into the program somebody whose work I've admired for a
number of years, and that is, of course, doctor Nan Hayworth,
(01:18:57):
a former US representative and optalmologist, as somebody who is
so incredible. Thanks so much for spending time with us
here today.
Speaker 2 (01:19:06):
And Charlotte Brett.
Speaker 8 (01:19:08):
It is a privilege, and I'm so glad to be
your guest again.
Speaker 5 (01:19:11):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:19:12):
It's wonderful. It's wonderful to have you here. I'd be
remissif I didn't ask right out of the box your
thoughts on what we're seeing happening in real time, whether
with the different challenges that we're facing domestically, but also
obviously as well what we've seen with this putent conversation
and all this sort of stuff. How do you assess
(01:19:34):
the direction of the country and this president?
Speaker 8 (01:19:39):
Every day, Brett, I say thank God for President Trump,
thank god we were able to elect him. He is
I've had the privilege of meeting President Trump a couple
of times, and you know, meeting some members of his
family and he is Brett. I'm sure you have met
him to you know, he is a brilliant man. He
(01:20:03):
is not given nearly the credit that he deserves, and
because he plays it down in a sense, but he
has an encyclopedic knowledge of the world. He does and
he remembers everything. He remembers everyone, no matter what that
person's station in life is. And when he does anything
(01:20:28):
on behalf of the United States and on behalf of
you know, our free world partners, if you will, it
is very deliberately planned, especially now in an administration that
he has been able to craft with incredible people, incredible talents,
a very well disciplined organization using all the lessons of
(01:20:54):
the first term and the second four I.
Speaker 1 (01:20:57):
Mean what should have been the second term.
Speaker 8 (01:20:59):
That is to say, but the four years in between
forty five and forty seven. So I feel confident in him,
but I also know that we have to fight alongside
him every day right to make sure right that you
(01:21:21):
know that that folks understand that what's happening at warp speed,
at Trump's speed, Yes, you know how how we understand
how that's going to lead to good for every American,
not just the ones who voted for him, the folks
who believe in Mega and Maha, but for everyone and
(01:21:42):
for the whole world. So I'm excited, but I'm also
optimistic and cautious, you know, right, we have a job
to do.
Speaker 1 (01:21:51):
So one of the things that's hugely important is the
big beautiful bill. There's going to be extended at tax cuts.
There's a whole bunch of stuff in there. And I
know you're very passionate about growth and the direction of
the economy and things like that. Are you are you
particularly excited about an asset inside that bill that's that's
(01:22:15):
going to be good for people that are living up
in your neck of the woods and things like that.
Speaker 8 (01:22:20):
Yeah, that's a great question. And you know, Brett, you
know Mark Latter sure, And we were talking a couple
of weeks ago for a couple of minutes and he
mentioned to me, and it was a great observation. He said,
you know, one of the challenges because I do think
the tax cuts, you know, the extension of the Tax
Cuts and Jobs Act, you know, that to me was
(01:22:44):
the most important aspect of it. But here's He's right,
Mark said, the challenge is that the tax cuts are
being retained which is wonderful, but they're not new, so
sure you know it's right, right, so you know you're
not going to feel the harm you would have have
they not been extended, right, But you know, will there'll
(01:23:07):
be new tax cuts, Well, we'd love to do that,
and President Trump is certainly has that on his agenda.
But explaining to everybody, look, you know, we we've got
so many good things going on. Obviously, what is new, right,
No tax on overtime, no tax on tips, sure, and
effectively no tax on social Security for seniors, all of
(01:23:28):
which are great. But we fight, as you know, Brett,
and thank God for your voice in this public discourse,
because we fight institutional capture at every level in our country.
And that's you know, obviously a challenge we face every day,
the the wall of negativity that they are just relentlessly
(01:23:54):
trying to retain. But I'm sure you saw this news
today that and it was certainly fascinating to me. A
big story of all places in New York Times in
the thirty three states I believe it's thirty three. It's
at least thirty where political party registration is followed or
recorded publicly, if you will, in every single state, blue, red,
(01:24:20):
and everything in between. Every state, Democrats have been losing
registrants and Republicans have been gaining.
Speaker 1 (01:24:29):
What do you ascribe to that? Is it the radical nature?
Is it the same old, same old faces that we
see constantly. What do you ascribe that to?
Speaker 8 (01:24:40):
No, I think Brett, it's a sense of alien nation. Somehow,
these folks the biggest voices in the Democrat Party, and
you know many have said it, and I agree, they
end up falling on the the twenty percent side of
(01:25:02):
every eighty twenty issue. And President and the latest example,
two examples, President Trump is not doing what he's doing
in our nation's capital because he wants to put Democrats
on the political defensive. That's not why he's doing this.
He's doing this because they have failed in managing the
(01:25:23):
federal district and all the residential areas ought to be
retroceeded back to Maryland anyway. But he did what he
did because he has that power for thirty days and
those you know, those thirty days are going to pass
by fast to do to the Home Lule Act. Right,
but he has effectively put the Democrats on the side
of crime. Right, they're complaining that's like great, So you
(01:25:47):
actually will defend the status quo, you know, and even
if it's improved over a couple of years ago, Okay,
it's still awful.
Speaker 1 (01:25:57):
That's true.
Speaker 8 (01:25:57):
It's not good, that's true.
Speaker 6 (01:25:59):
Right.
Speaker 8 (01:26:00):
And the others of course that you know, with his
incredible work leveraging the power of the United States and
building that power, that economic power especially is concerning our
energy portfolio. You know, the Green New Deal and the
Green Agenda was designed to bring us down and it
was working. So he's bringing us back. He's leveraging that
(01:26:21):
to make deals around the world, not only economic deals,
but peace deals. And now Russia, Ukraine, right, and the
Democrats are you know, and their media, you know, handmaidens
are of course, you know, construing it as negatively as
they possibly cancel. Now he's putting them on the side
of war and death.
Speaker 1 (01:26:39):
That's true. That's exactly right. Oh, such a great conversation.
And we've got to do this again more frequently. News
Talk eleven ten, not a nine to three wbt uts
(01:26:59):
jump out and talk to Stan. Hello, Stan, what's on
your mind? Hi?
Speaker 2 (01:27:03):
Brad? You will I'll go about how we're losing our country. Yes,
I would do some research this the other day, and
this subject came up. That is, how many companies that
we have that we think are American owned companies they're
either owned by the Chinese or they have a majority
ownership or at least have such a small ownership birth
(01:27:25):
and then try to try to get power in the
companies and then buy the companies for a song later.
Speaker 1 (01:27:33):
Well, okay, yes, that is true. However, I would caution
one thing about this, okay, because technically companies, even if
they're in China or they're in the United States, the
shareholders own the companies, right, I mean and so and
so that that's one thing that I would always kind of,
(01:27:56):
you know, ascribe to if it's a closed company, right,
if the it's a company that they don't they don't
have any investors that you know of, that's one thing.
But I think when people talk about Chinese company, Chinese
owned companies, that is that that's a challenge, no doubt
about it. But I think at the same time we
have to understand, you know, some of the other stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:28:18):
Still there.
Speaker 1 (01:28:18):
Yeah, I'm there, I'm go ahead.
Speaker 2 (01:28:20):
No, well, okay, Well, the company I was going to mention,
Smithfield Foods g appliances, yes, Motorola, Yes, Lavina Technology owns those.
And while I realized that how they take over the
companies though, is they become shareholders.
Speaker 1 (01:28:34):
Yes, that's true.
Speaker 2 (01:28:35):
They get positions within the company because their shareholders and
increase their ability to run the company. And that's why
in this country, even though the country's going more conservative,
you see all these corporate boardrooms, they're still very, very
very liberal within the companies themselves.
Speaker 1 (01:28:50):
It's it's interesting because and I'm going to try to uh,
I'm going to try to preface this with with the
appropriate stuff. I have noticed certain reporters who are at
Fox News, who are in the White House. I have
(01:29:10):
noticed that they they don't seem to be as excited
about the deal with Putin getting done then then you
would have expected. It's it's it's very interesting to see
how things are starting to shatter a little bit. And
I don't know why. I don't know what what the
issue is. But yesterday, if anybody missed this, during the
(01:29:33):
during a Levitt's press conference yesterday, she she went down
a list of five or six reporters and she she
corrected every one of them. I mean, she was it
was it was very reminiscent of Kaylee Mcananey and how
she uh would would hold these reporters to account and
they they were coming in with their preset argument and
(01:29:55):
then she they were being disabuted, I disabused. It was
really a very interesting thing to see in the last
twenty four hours.
Speaker 2 (01:30:02):
Well, well, I'm honestly never thought that the Fox News
it's not as conservative as say other networks, right, and
some of the announcers, especially in the evening probably are,
But I brought as a whole ownership group. I'm not
sure that some of those aren't calls at liberals.
Speaker 1 (01:30:17):
Actually, well, I mean I think I think there's I
don't think that everybody's a conservative over there at that outfit.
But here's but here's the thing that's the challenge with them.
We want the story to be a straight story. I mean,
that's all it's got to be is a straight story.
Now if it maybe goes laughter, it goes a little bit, right, Okay,
(01:30:37):
So be it that there's going to be the elements
in those stories happening, but there's not going to be
you know, you have to be at least honest with
what it is that's being pushed or what's being said.
And I think, you know, you know, Paul Ryan is
still a very big factor at that organization, and I
think he's starting to put a little bit of the
(01:30:58):
thumb on the scale. That's my opinion, nobody else's. And
I just I just kind of wonder about that.
Speaker 2 (01:31:04):
Yeah, about the same thing as it more, But I.
Speaker 1 (01:31:06):
Wasn't, Oh, thank you very much. I appreciate it. Yeah,
you got it. Stan, Absolutely that was good. Russia draws
hard line over security guarantees for Ukraine. This is the
last thirty five minutes UH coming through in the Wall
Street Journal. Are they going to try to start to
(01:31:27):
back out off of this deal? Is this what is
maybe gonna be trying to have in here? I don't know,
it's kind of it's kind of a it's kind of
a weird thing when you think about this. And then additionally,
and finally before we go to a breaking with Bret Jensen,
American Airlines is adding a new non stop flight between
Charlotte and Pom Springs International Airport. The California Airport announced
(01:31:50):
on Monday, you can fly right to UH NonStop to
to that beautiful Palm Springs Internet National Airport. Seasonal service
will run on Saturdays from December twentieth through April. The eighteenth.
Flights will operate on a one hundred and seventy two
(01:32:10):
seat aircraft, So there you go, get yourself some pump
springs if you can. I don't know. I've been there
all right. Thanks to Isaac and Lonnie and Anna and
Pam break him with Bret Jensen's next Please Talk eleven
