and this is the shutdown. On the sixth day, the

Supreme Court will hear some controversial cases in the new
term that begins today. On the docket will be cases
involving the use of race and congressional redistricting, conversion therapy
for miners, and state laws banning transgender athletes in girls' sports.
The High Court will also hear cases involving the Trump administration,

Two people died and a dozen others injured after a
shooting near downtown Montgomery, Alabama. The shooting happened around eleven
thirty Saturday night, when two groups opened fire on each
other in the middle of a crowd. A total of
