Lincoln, Lincoln binga bonana bana ban gun feed by ling
gun Lincoln.
Speaker 5 (00:34):
They say this cat Lincoln is a bad mother. We're
just talking about Lincoln.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Good morning, Cincinnati. Welcome to twelve thirty w DBZ. We
are the buzz of Cincinnati, your talk station, The Lincoln
Show till one o'clock this afternoon. And headlines on the news,
(01:08):
the white man has been charged.
Speaker 5 (01:11):
He's been charged, but I don't think he's been.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Arrested, has he He's just supposed to show up in
court next week.
Speaker 5 (01:20):
I don't think he was arrested, just charged. I thing.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
I'm not sure. I don't think he's been arrested. In
mugshot and all that.
Speaker 5 (01:27):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
But they're said he's a victim also so they can't
identify him because of Marcie's law, but Channel five identified him.
Speaker 5 (01:43):
They say their reporters were spoke.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
They reporters spoke to Alex Travinsky, one of the victims
in the July twenty sixth incident, according to court documents,
and he confirmed to the station that he has now
charged with the misdemeanor, a fourth degree misdemeanor and one
of the lowest.
Speaker 5 (02:04):
I guess you don't even have to be arrested for that.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
Just show up in court, I guess anyway, So we'll see. Boy, Okay,
let's throw him a crumb out there. Let's throw the
black folks a crumb. We'll charge him with the lowest
possible charge we can charge him with. Now, y'all shut up.
It's pretty much what they're saying. Shut up, we charge them.
(02:31):
Shut up.
Speaker 5 (02:34):
Oh boy, So there you go. Yeah, he wasn't arrested.
He was just charged. And he'll show up in court
on the twenty sixth. We'll see, we will see what happens.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Unbelievable. We've been waiting for some kind of charging. Well, look,
we asked for charges. They gave us charges, not the
charges that we were looking for, but we got some charges. Yes,
I don't know. This temperature in here, I don't know.
(03:15):
It's getting warmer every day in here, don't you have
you noticed that at least over here it is now
over here has been about the same man. It seems
like it's a lot hotter over here. They're still they
even had the building closed down. I don't think anybody's
working in the entire building except security and us. Yeah,
I think so, but we're on a different air condition unit.
(03:39):
But the heat from the other parts is sort of
creeping over here, so we'll see. I did make it
to South Avondale's school this morning, yes, seven point thirty.
I was there, bright and early, standing at attention, waiting
for Seana.
Speaker 5 (03:58):
Murphy to show up.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
And she up in her bright yellow She was like, yeah,
it's the first day of school. I'm here and you'll
see her on the news today. She had on her
bright yellow suit on and she was happy.
Speaker 5 (04:13):
Ninety eight percent of the students were happy.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
You know, some of these kids were coming into school
first day of school, they were mad. I don't know
what they were mad at, but for the most part,
most of them were happy. They were glad to be
back in school. They were giving high fives and everything.
We were clapping for them as they walked through. But
it was a couple of them that you couldn't get
a smile out of if you try.
Speaker 5 (04:38):
They was just mad.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Because school and then a couple of parents. I guess
they didn't read the papers that were coming on. I
guess these kids are supposed to have seat through backpacks,
clear backpacks, and a couple of parents sent their kids
without the clear backpacks.
Speaker 5 (04:57):
I don't know what that's I have to figure find
out what's up.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
With that, because if that's gonna be true, then when
they have any backpack giveaways, they need to give away
clear backpacks. I don't know, so I got to find
out the details on that. But there was a guy
stopping a couple of kids as they were coming past
the gate there and said they didn't have clear backpacks.
(05:22):
So I don't know. I have to find out more
information on that. But it was a great morning. South
Avondale School it's now middle school seventh through seven and
eighth graders, seventh and eighth graders, and there was a
time when it was a you know, kindergarten through the
fifth or sixth grade, South Avondale was, but now seven
(05:44):
and eighth graders only. I saw one male teacher. He
was a new teacher at the school this year.
Speaker 5 (05:51):
This cat was man.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
He was had him a nice suit on and he
looked like he was going to church. Man, he was
ready for school. I'm like, is that the principal or
the assistant principal? You know, No, he's a teacher. Yeah,
he's a teacher.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
He was ready.
Speaker 5 (06:09):
He was ready. I mean he was dressed down to
the tea ready for school.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
Now.
Speaker 5 (06:16):
Yeah, I'll give him six months, That's what I was saying.
When is he gonna come out of that suit tomorrow?
I don't know. Maybe this was the first day he
decided to dress up in the suit. But he's setting
a good example for the kids.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
I like the example he's setting, you know, come to
school dressed up and ready to go.
Speaker 5 (06:36):
Yeah, come to school ready to go. So I give
him props.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
You don't see many black male teachers anyway, and I
saw a few.
Speaker 5 (06:48):
I saw maybe three.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
White students attending South Avondale, And I talked to the
one white.
Speaker 5 (06:54):
Kid, and you know, he's ready to go.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (06:57):
He says he's gonna get all ease. He's all yeah,
no problem with all ads.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
I guess he got all a's last year because he
didn't seem like it was gonna be a problem this year.
Speaker 5 (07:06):
And his favorite hero is Spider Man. He tell me
he had his spider Man, you know.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
So anyway, Uh, yeah, I had to make the white
kid feel at home, you know what I mean, you know,
But it seemed like overall they were a great bunch
of students.
Speaker 5 (07:23):
Ready to learn, ready to go.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
And I had a good time over at South Avondale
School this morning with the superintendent.
Speaker 5 (07:31):
So I lived up to my part of the bargain.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
I was over at South Avondale, even took my car
to get all changed, and uh back here in time
to go to work. I mean, I do more by
ten o'clock than most people do all day. I tell
you that all the time. Yeah, so I'm good to go.
Went over to Cincinnati Cadillac, saw the folks over there,
(07:57):
and they said, you'll be good to go at one third.
Speaker 5 (08:00):
We'll pick you up at one Yeah.
Speaker 6 (08:06):
Did you have to teach any of those young punks
any lessons this morning? No, they were. They were all good.
Speaker 5 (08:12):
All the kids were great.
Speaker 6 (08:13):
You had to tell them back in my day.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
No, No, they were all good, no problems. They were
lined up ready to go. When they opened the door.
They have to go through the metal detectors, you know,
that had to go through the metal detectors. But Uh,
that's why you don't have any shootings inside you know,
inner city school. You don't have those school shootings like
you do out in the suburbs where they just walk
in and out.
Speaker 5 (08:36):
That's where the school.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
But now you have to go through the metal detectors,
and everything was okay.
Speaker 5 (08:42):
Yeah, all the kids were ready to go.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Oh yeah, that's gonna be a rally tomorrow at twelve
noon on the Square.
Speaker 5 (08:53):
The faith leaders, great Cincinnati faith.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
Leaders, and they want people to come down to Fountain
Square at noon tomorrow. They're going to confront the false
narrative being pushed by the Democratic led cities that the
Democratic led cities aren't safe, mismanaged, and should be placed.
Speaker 5 (09:15):
Under federal control. That's what they're trying to say.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
That's why they're offering all this help to Cincinnati. You know,
this is not Paul. We're just offering help. You know,
they killed me. These Republicans, you can see right through them,
you can see right through them. But they're offering all
this help and then before you know it, they'll be
in control, all the help will be in control. So
(09:42):
this narrative is misleading and it is dangerous, and it
seeks to strip communities of their own voice and agencies.
Speaker 5 (09:51):
So if you're against them bringing in federal troops and.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
National Guard and highway troll and all this stuff, show
up tomorrow at noon at Fountain Square.
Speaker 5 (10:05):
Call for justice.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
On Fountain Square tomorrow at twelve noon. So check that out.
Uh Shaq has accepted a match with a man who
chopped his neck.
Speaker 5 (10:24):
Yeah, she killed O'Neil. He was was Will Smith.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
It was Will Smith's bodyguard and he was signing autographs
or something. Shaq happened to be in the area, so
he showed up. A shack walked up to the front
of the line, and the bodyguard like took his hand
and just choppeding on the neck. Hey, get back, get back.
And they've been beefing every since then. So the guy
called Shack out and Shaq accepted to have a celebrity
(10:52):
boxing match with him.
Speaker 5 (10:54):
Yeah, he said, diesel. Don't run, he said, the diesel.
Speaker 7 (11:00):
Be there.
Speaker 5 (11:00):
I don't run from nobody. That's what he said. The
diesel will be there.
Speaker 6 (11:04):
Now. How tall is his bodyguard?
Speaker 5 (11:06):
Oh he's like six six. He's like six six.
Speaker 6 (11:09):
Okay, okay, I'm wondering. I can't imagine trying to chop shots.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, he's six six, so he's not that
much shorter.
Speaker 5 (11:19):
But he's shorter, a lot shorter, but he's six six.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
Of course another shooting in Cincinnati seemed like I'm back
to doing that again.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Man shot three times while riding in a car in
College Hill. It's happened in College Hill last night. So
if he was riding in a car, I guess a
person in the car shot him.
Speaker 5 (11:46):
It's what I'm gathering. Shot him in the leg and
in the stomach.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
And I guess he was riding in the car because
the car crashed after the shooting, and I guess the
guy got out and ran. So well, Ice, I don't
care if you're a newborn baby and your hero illegally,
ICE is going to send you back. They'll put you
back in the womb if they could. Uh. Six year
old student sparks an uproar as he's been deported. A
(12:18):
six year old student and her family were deported just
before the start of the new school year, and sparking
and uproar across the state. The second grade New York
City public school student went to her mother, an older
brother went with her mother and older brother on August
twelfth to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement check in. See,
(12:40):
that's where they get these people. They want to follow
the rules. You're supposed to check in every so often,
and they go to check in and then they get deported.
Speaker 5 (12:52):
That's just that's just scandalous, you know what I mean. Unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
And so the six year old, at least the six
year olds with their family, you know what I mean.
Normally they just ship the six year old back and say,
go for yourself.
Speaker 5 (13:10):
What I mean, what do you do?
Speaker 2 (13:14):
One black Texas Democrat stayed in the I guess in
the in the area where they have their meetings in
Texas's Texas State House. She stayed there overnight. You know,
the Texas the Democrats have returned, and most of them
have returned, but the governor has put stipulations on them
(13:38):
to make sure they don't leave again. So they have
a guard following them to and from home and everything.
Everywhere they go, they've got a guard following them. And
she says, I'm not having any of it, going to
(14:00):
stay right here and sleep.
Speaker 5 (14:02):
On the house floor. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
Many Democrats who left the state are now returning, and
in response to the protests, the Democrats have been subjected
to a five hundred dollars a day fine and threats
of criminal charges, and now required to have permission slips
(14:31):
in order to leave and keep a.
Speaker 5 (14:33):
Police escort at all times.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
And Representative Callier protested law enforcement officers from accompanying her
out of the chamber. So she just said, I'll stay here.
You don't have to follow me. I'm just gonna stay here,
and she slept there overnight. She said, I refuse to
sign away my dignity as a duly elected representative just
(14:58):
so Republicans can control my movements and monitor me with
police escorts. Yeah, she said, when I press that button
to vote, I know these maps will harm my constituents.
I won't just go along quietly with their intimidations or
their discrimination. So, man, they're going crazy down there in Texas,
(15:26):
police following them everywhere they go. Will somebody please tell
me what could Gisel James have done to get kicked
off the UC basketball team. He was the best player
on the team, he was bound for the NBA, and
he's been kicked off the team.
Speaker 5 (15:47):
They say for personal reasons.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
What personal reasons would have the UC coach kicked the
top player off the team for personal reason? Can you
work with this kid? Hey, we gotta do. We're gonna
help you all we can. We need you on this team.
I don't understand this. And he's the son of Edrian James,
who played for Indianapolis Colts. But I just don't understand
(16:18):
what could have happened to Gisel James. You laugh at
the name Gisel, but that's that's I mean, that's his
name that he's adopted to play with, Gisel James. And
he's been a good player for you see, one of
their best players.
Speaker 5 (16:38):
And he's off the team. Cheez. All right, let's take
a break. We'll come back.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
We've got crime stoppers, we've got others holding on. We'll
get to you. The Lincoln Wear Show twelve thirty, the
Buzz and there's a lot of stuff people need to
talk about. They do and they shed it all right here,
trust me. All right, let's go downtown to the crime
stop her headquarters. Check in with my good friend, Detective
Tiffany Green. How you doing.
Speaker 8 (17:04):

Speaker 5 (17:07):

Speaker 5 (18:32):
Is he still on the force.
Speaker 8 (18:34):
No, he retired a few years theore.
Speaker 2 (18:36):
Okay, okay, I was wondering. I had not seen him
in a long time. He used to work here at
the radio station years ago.
Speaker 8 (18:44):
Okay, yeah, I haven't seen Ken in at least five years.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
Okay, all right, all right, I just wanted to know.
I didn't know whether he was undercover or something or what.
All right, thank you, Detective Tiffany Green. We'll talk to
you tomorrow. All righty, Okay, there you go, Tiffany Green,
right on the case. Can kill remember Doc kill Gore,
don't you?
Speaker 11 (19:04):
Of course I remember Doc kill Gore. We're the same
light bright yeah and Doc yeah.
Speaker 5 (19:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:11):
And he used to be married to, uh, the detective A. Pettis,
Anita Pettis. They used to be married, oh boy, yeah.
And so yeah, he used to work I worked with
him at w c I N believe it or not.
He used to do news over w C I in.
Speaker 5 (19:28):
Really kill Gore.
Speaker 6 (19:29):
Yeah, really, yeah, so he's got the voice. He's got
the voice, yeah.
Speaker 5 (19:34):
Doc, doc kill Gored.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
Yes, all right, five one, three, seven, twelve thirty Lincoln,
wear with you. Let's go down to Dallas, Texas and
uh Brent Beard, Uh boy, they're going crazy down in Texas.
Speaker 5 (19:48):
Let me tell you.
Speaker 12 (19:50):
Yes, yes, State Representative Nicole Collier is still being held
hostage there at the state capital. And that that's nothing
to laugh about.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
Lincoln.
Speaker 5 (20:02):
You know that is not being held hostial.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
She's not being held host because she don't want to
leave and have them follower everywhere.
Speaker 12 (20:10):
No, Lincoln, you're reading headlines and don't know that. But
they are requiring everyone, all the Democrats that came back,
they require them essentially to sign a waiver so that
they are monitored by police or law enforcement and their
family is monitored because they do not want them leaving
the state again. And so she do not sign it.
Speaker 9 (20:33):
Leave.
Speaker 12 (20:34):
They have they told them they had the video online
where they told them to lock the doors and had
all the other Democrats they signed it. But she said
hell no, yeah, so you should be saluting her instead
of lasting.
Speaker 5 (20:46):
Yeah, but she has a choice, She has a choice.
Speaker 12 (20:49):
That is Lincoln. If I hold a gun to your
head and saying if you don't sign this, you can't leave.
You have a choice too, right, you can leave if
you sign that is a that's fool and you know
it is your civil rights.
Speaker 5 (21:05):
It's crazy. I know it is great. But they did
give her a choice.
Speaker 12 (21:09):
Is a choice, and you know it. Good lord.
Speaker 5 (21:11):
That is a choice that might not be a good choice.
Speaker 12 (21:15):
It may not be because.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
You I'm just telling you it's not a good choice
that she has to make.
Speaker 5 (21:23):
But it is a choice.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
Now, Okay, continue, continue you don't want to, no, I'll continue.
Speaker 12 (21:30):
Let's talk about white people, because you.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
That's a stupid choice.
Speaker 12 (21:34):
Okay, that's a stupid.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
Choice, stupid choice.
Speaker 5 (21:37):
But it's white people.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
White people. Let's talk about white people.
Speaker 7 (21:40):
You haven't talked about.
Speaker 12 (21:41):
Them in a while, other than them. I'm sure gonna
be pissing already on the Q waiting to complain about
the white man finally getting not even arrested, but charge.
But white people are really not opposed to welfare and
and universal health care and reparations. They're they're only opposed
(22:04):
to that because black folks are getting it too. Even
though the percentage and the amounts are far less. That's
the only thing they're posted. They're not opposed to those
white farmers in Kansas who are about to lose their farms
getting help and getting welfare from the federal government. But
let the black farmers get what good to them by
(22:26):
the policies, by the systematic racism, then they're then they're
all opposed. So that's the only thing they're posted. They're
posted to anything black or anyone black getting anything that
they feel they deserve because they think of blacks as
less than and inferior, plain and simple. They can they
can try to clean it up, they can try to
(22:46):
make it look nice, but that's ultimately the case because
even when your good white friends call in and you
joke with them, and they always or will joke and
get you talking about sports, and then they'll come and
they'll insult you flat out. Yeah, so that's that's all,
including your good friend KKK Craig white liar there.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
Thanks for your car, Brent. I believe I got Brent
fired up this morning. I mean, yeah, you don't have
to like the choice. It is a stupid choice, but
it's a choice, simple as that. That's all I would say,
it is a choice. It's not a good choice, but
it's a choice. It's a choice. Yeah, it's a choice.
(23:34):
I was like taking a shot or not working. You
have a choice, you make the choice. Let's take a break.
Speaker 5 (23:43):
Twelve thirty The buzzs is Lincoln where on a Wednesday,
I'll be around till one o'clock this afternoon.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
I almost said three o'clock like they said on the promo.
We had to pull.
Speaker 5 (23:58):
Three o'clock was on my mind.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
I caught that, and yeah, here we go, uh Shopton
from one till four right here on twelve thirty the
buzz All right, let's go to James. James, how are you?
Speaker 7 (24:15):
I'm fine, Nick, And how you doing today?
Speaker 5 (24:17):
I'm hanging in there. What's on your mind?
Speaker 1 (24:19):
Good?
Speaker 7 (24:20):
First of all, gig James. He's been going through that
twelve step program. He's working with John Lucas. Remember him
when he used to play basketball?
Speaker 5 (24:29):
Yeah, so what's he is? Strung out on alcohol?
Speaker 7 (24:33):
I guess just drugs, just general drugs really but really,
but anyway, John Lucas, you know he's a former basketball player.
Speaker 5 (24:46):
Well it's all allege. We don't know. I don't know.
You're just telling me this.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
This is alleged that he's in a step twelve step program.
Speaker 5 (24:53):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
They haven't released any information like that at you see,
but they say he was acting crazy on social media here,
he was going crazy on there, so it could be well.
Speaker 7 (25:04):
Yeah, he pretty much admitted that that he's going through
some trail problems. But I don't know why you see
in that program didn't want to work with him. I
don't know. I don't understand that.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
Well, I tell you what, when he when he comes
out of that twelve step program, I bet you some
team's gonna grab him up real quick.
Speaker 7 (25:23):
Yeah, oh yeah, definitely if he if he gets hisself
together hopefully you know, uh, he's with he's with John Lucas.
Lucas is probably getting together.
Speaker 5 (25:34):
But how did you find all this out? How do
you know all this?
Speaker 1 (25:38):
Well?
Speaker 7 (25:38):
I read, I do reading. I researched.
Speaker 5 (25:41):
Well, I haven't seen anything.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
If the coach didn't even say the coach says, all
I'm saying is for personal reasons, and that's all anybody knew.
Speaker 7 (25:51):
Well, I really I read it on on some information.
That's uh, that's that's that's that's good, good information. Okay,
But anyway, Also, I wanted to say, I think that's
a slap on the slap, slap for the black community
for them to just charged this guy with a.
Speaker 5 (26:12):
Fourth degree mistermeanor yeah, yeah it is.
Speaker 7 (26:16):
That doesn't make no sense, It really don't. But anyway,
that's all I have to say today. But continue, you're
a good talk show.
Speaker 2 (26:26):
All right, thanks for your call, James. And like I say,
I can't verify anything James said. Uh, everything is alleged.
I haven't seen anywhere in any news media anywhere about
any twelve step program.
Speaker 5 (26:42):
I have not seen it.
Speaker 2 (26:44):
The coach says, personal reasons, and that's all anybody has released.
Speaker 5 (26:49):
Personal reasons.
Speaker 2 (26:51):
But seemed like they would have worked with him at
least kept him on the team instead of kicking him off.
Speaker 5 (26:56):
That's what I can't understand.
Speaker 2 (26:58):
I mean, I could see if he was a media
okah player, but he was that top player. Unbelievable. All right,
let's go to Pharaoh. Pharaoh, how you doing it?
Speaker 13 (27:09):
I'm all right, Lincoln, what's up? I want to talk
about a few things, Lincoln. But first I like to
say that your first caller, this guy Brent. Yes, I
read wholeheartedly with everything he said. All right, But Lincoln,
I want to clear the record on some things if
you let me. Yes, first of all, about my name Pharaoh.
(27:34):
I heard Reverend Crazy Smith say Monday the Pharaoh talk
about his name Lincoln. And I'm surprised that at you,
cause first of all, you should have told him that
I gave him that name. Yeah, but I mean, I
mean say nothing.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
I didn't give you the name, you accepted the name.
You still that. I just said, we'll just call you
the Pharaoh, and you stuck with it.
Speaker 7 (27:58):
I didn't.
Speaker 5 (27:58):
I can't give anybody, okay, and.
Speaker 13 (28:03):
Why do you say that?
Speaker 5 (28:05):
On all?
Speaker 13 (28:07):
Right, Lincoln, let me curry the record up once and
for all. Where the Federal he's an ageist. I am
not an atheist. I thought you the last time I
am gonna say you're where you told.
Speaker 5 (28:21):
Us on this station that you were an atheist.
Speaker 13 (28:24):
No, I did not tell you that.
Speaker 5 (28:25):
Okay.
Speaker 13 (28:26):
I never told you that I was.
Speaker 5 (28:29):
Okay, I'm gonna tell you what I told What did
you tell me?
Speaker 13 (28:33):
I told you the last time. I'm gonna save this, Lincoln.
I believe in God just as much as anybody else.
But the bottom line is the perception. I don't believe
God to be some supernatural being out there in space somewhere.
He's got the whole world in his hands, controlling the events.
(28:57):
God equates to nature, the air, the wind, the breathe,
the water, the birds, the bees, the free in harmony together.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
Did you say, if you were going down in an airplane,
you will say.
Speaker 13 (29:12):
Oh, God, bless me, God save me.
Speaker 1 (29:14):
I ain't believing none.
Speaker 13 (29:15):
Of that foolishness. I'm not friend to anybody, Lincoln. That's
anybody out there.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
Here's me.
Speaker 13 (29:23):
Everything I'm a successful act is because I have done it.
The God in me, the Lincoln. When you talk about
the name God, you know where the name God comes from,
even though it's an African concept. The name of God
was called nature n E T C H E R. Nature.
(29:45):
And from the word nature God, you get five other
words from that one word. You get the word nature,
You get the word natural, you get the word nurture,
you get the words neutral, and you get the words normal.
All of those come from the word nature meaning God.
Speaker 2 (30:11):
Anybody would listen to what you just said and they
would say, you're an atheist.
Speaker 13 (30:16):
But I told you, I believe God to be is nature.
That's what our people believed before contact with Europeans, who
made who told us about the pie in the sky
and that's where God is. See, we didn't believe that
in Africa thousands of years because oh we didn't know
anything about some Jesus and seesual savory all that was
(30:37):
taught to us on the plantation. But anyways, Lincoln, the
last thing that I wanted to say was that, speaking
about as I said, Damon Lynch, I wasn't criticizing nothing
that this man did in terms of trying to elevate
the community, trying to raise our consciousness whatever. I wasn't
(31:01):
criticizing nothing in terms of what he did. The only
thing I was criticizing was his name. But since Reverend
Crazy Smith brought it up, I'm gonna tell you what
I condemn him on in terms of his actions. Yes,
I condemn him because Lincoln, do you know what a dichotomy.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
Is an diconomy? Yes, I know what it is, but
I'm gonna let you explain it to us.
Speaker 13 (31:27):
It's like a preacher. Okay, it's like a preacher who
preaches in church on Sunday about formification and adultery. Okay,
how wrong it is. But then a week later, he's
busted in the hotel with some woman who's not his wife.
Speaker 5 (31:44):
That's like being a hypocrite.
Speaker 13 (31:46):
Right, being a hypocrite. Now, I'm gonna say that I'm
glad you understood that. I'm glad you used that word
something to you about what I say where I criticized
Damon Lynch or any other because in spite of what
you do to help our people in the community in
terms of trying to elevate our consciousness, okay, quick, but
(32:11):
then you would turn around and stand in church on
Sunday and preach this white man's doctrine, teaching us this
slaves mentality that the white man taught us on a
slave ship. So you're doing one thing on one hand
to elevate us and elevate our consciousness, and then on
the other hand, you get in church a preach that
(32:34):
keeps us as slave about looking to the sky for
somebody to come and save us.
Speaker 5 (32:39):
All right, And on that note, I gotta go. Thanks
for your.
Speaker 6 (32:42):
God, Pharaoh. I wanted to get to him for you left.
Speaker 11 (32:46):
Someone called in and they wanted to ask Pharaoh to
answer a question about today's date and the anniversary of
today's date. There's a very significant date for African Americans,
and they wanted him to answer that question.
Speaker 5 (33:00):
So he's probably gonna look it up now it's too late.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
Told me, yeah, all right, let's go to my good friend,
Superintendent SHAWNA. Murphy, who was there bright and early in
a bright yellow this morning over South Avondale's school.
Speaker 4 (33:16):
Well, it was a cloudy day and I wanted to
bring a little sunshine.
Speaker 5 (33:19):
Yes, yes, yes, it was a great.
Speaker 4 (33:21):
Day Lincoln to tell you, thank you, thank you, thank
you not only for keeping up our tradition, but for
supporting the young people.
Speaker 9 (33:29):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
Everybody seemed bright eyed and ready to take on another
school year.
Speaker 4 (33:35):
I think we're ready to go.
Speaker 5 (33:37):
Yes, now let me. Can you explain something to me?
Speaker 2 (33:39):
Are they required to have the clear backpacks?
Speaker 5 (33:43):
Of what's the deal there?
Speaker 4 (33:45):
So that is not a district wide initiative like the
Yonder pouches, but school by school may be requiring or
asking families to have clear book bags.
Speaker 2 (33:54):
Okay, okay, And I think South Avondale was one of them, right, Yes.
Speaker 4 (33:59):
I heard your comment. I did see some kids with them,
and some kids, but we'll give them a little time
to adjust, and anybody who needs assistance will work on
seeing if we can try to find some you know
this time of year.
Speaker 5 (34:11):
Yes, yes, yes, all right.
Speaker 2 (34:13):
And I was talking about the male teacher, the new
black male teacher they had, But he was ready. I mean,
he was setting a great example for the kids.
Speaker 5 (34:21):
How you show up at work, you know, And.
Speaker 4 (34:25):
I agree. I saw him get out of his car
and I was certainly impressed with him.
Speaker 2 (34:29):
Yeah, he seemed like he's going to engage with the
students too. He just seemed like he was ready to go.
So yeah, yeah, I think it'll be a good year
with him. But overall, everybody seemed happy and ready to
go back to school on the first day.
Speaker 5 (34:42):
And I heard you speaking to the kids inside there.
Speaker 2 (34:46):
I don't know what were you saying, how is your
summer ready to go?
Speaker 4 (34:51):
Do you need anything? You know, just wishing them well,
letting them know that there are people that have a village.
And I think that's what you and others in the
community demonstrated today that they have a village, they have
people who care about them and want to see them
do well.
Speaker 2 (35:04):
Yes, yes, all right, Well it's a great day, great
start of the year.
Speaker 5 (35:08):
What's what's your next stops? What other schools are you.
Speaker 4 (35:10):
I am at Evanston Academy right now, and things are
looking good over here as well. These students in their
uniforms with their principal principal tutor ready to go.
Speaker 5 (35:21):
All right, sounds good to me.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
And hopefully the bus ride home and the bus ride
to school worked out okay for those people who are
riding Metro for the first time this year, at.
Speaker 4 (35:32):
Least coming to school. I've gotten no calls, no text messages,
no emails concerning transportation. We'll debrief this afternoon with my team,
and I think pretty smooth so far.
Speaker 5 (35:44):
All right, sounds good.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
Sounds like a great twenty five twenty six Cincinnati Public
School year is under way.
Speaker 4 (35:51):
All right, thank you for taking my call.
Speaker 5 (35:53):
Hey, thank you for calling. Appreciate it.
Speaker 14 (35:54):
Have a good day, all right.
Speaker 2 (35:55):
That's Superintendent Seanna Murphy. And it was a great morning.
It was early, you know, seven thirty. I'm like, oh Lord,
what did I get myself into? But I was there.
Speaker 11 (36:08):
You said, I'm gonna tow these young punks, show young punks.
Speaker 2 (36:14):
But yeah, I didn't see too many male teachers over there.
But like I said, the one guy, he was ready
to go. He was ready to go. He was a
casket clean. I should say casket clean. That's what Walker
always tells people, Brian Walker, you casket clean? Yes, all right,
(36:37):
let's take a break and then we'll come back. The
Lincoln Were show twelve thirty the Buzz Station. It's Lincoln
Wear till one o'clock this afternoon. And yeah, for the
callers out there, just listening to the Pharoah, which you
say he's an atheist or not? Just listening to how
he explains this, I still say he's an atheist.
Speaker 5 (37:01):
How many people agree with me on that? Five?
Speaker 2 (37:03):
One, three, seven, four, nine, twelve thirty coming up at eleven,
Congressman Greg Landsman will be in the studio. We'll find
out what's going on in DC. What about the takeover
in DC? We got the Ohio National Guard in d C. Unbelievable.
Is it political? Of course? The governor said, oh, this
(37:24):
is not. When they ask for help, I'm reilling to
help them anytime. Yeah, right, but anyway, Uh, it's unbelievable.
I want to find out what it's looking like in
d C with all the National Guard troops out there,
and man, they has pretty much taken over d C.
Speaker 5 (37:44):
They just walked in and took it over. Unbelievable. Ozzie,
how are you?
Speaker 1 (37:50):
They come?
Speaker 14 (37:51):
Good for the turn?
Speaker 5 (37:54):
Hello?
Speaker 1 (37:57):
Can you hear me?
Speaker 12 (37:58):
Now?
Speaker 5 (37:58):
I can. What are you doing?
Speaker 1 (38:00):
Working?
Speaker 5 (38:01):
Okay? What's up?
Speaker 7 (38:03):
Same thing you doing?
Speaker 1 (38:03):
Bro?
Speaker 5 (38:04):
What's going on?
Speaker 1 (38:06):
Hey man?
Speaker 14 (38:07):
I just want to say that over two thousand years
ago the message of Jesus Christ was taken to Africa.
Matter of fact, one of the first apostleships to leave
Israel went to Africa. Now you don't have to believe that,
(38:30):
Like I don't have to believe anything else that is
written that somebody else read that they believe. But I
just want those that are interested and knowing more than
just one side. That other side is that Hebrews were
in Ethiopia thousands of years ago and not Christianity. But
(38:53):
the teachings of Christ was over two thousand years ago.
And if you don't want.
Speaker 13 (38:59):
To belie believe that, don't. If you want to believe that.
Speaker 14 (39:02):
I should pray to this tree, well why didn't that
tree stop the white man from taking us and bringing
us to slavery? I just want to say, in my opinions,
it wasn't until we started speaking the name Jesus that
we started to become free. And the more we said
(39:24):
that name, the freer we became. And now that you
see that we are, we are reluctant to speak the
name Jesus, the more enslaved we become.
Speaker 5 (39:35):
Okay, all right, I'll leave it up to you.
Speaker 14 (39:39):
All right, listening, honest, thank you.
Speaker 5 (39:42):
Thanks for your call.
Speaker 6 (39:42):
Ozzie.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
That's Ozzie and exercising his thirty day past. He's exercising that.
Let's go to ol ol good morning.
Speaker 5 (39:54):
How are you.
Speaker 1 (39:55):
Respect and respect, love and blessing. I really had a question.
Speaker 5 (39:59):
For oh boy.
Speaker 2 (40:01):
I didn't want to turn this into Bible study. I
know it's Wednesday, but I didn't want to turn this
show in the Bible study today.
Speaker 1 (40:07):
Come on, no respect, I can respect that as as
you know. Pharaoh concerned. I don't think he's an atheist.
I don't. Yeah, I don't believe he's an atheist.
Speaker 5 (40:19):
It sounds like it to me.
Speaker 1 (40:22):
Well see, see, you don't study like.
Speaker 2 (40:26):
Well, I don't have to study to hear what he said.
I don't have to study anything to hear what he said.
I don't have to study the Bible to hear what
he said. And my conclusion is that he's an atheist.
Speaker 1 (40:39):
Well I understand. I mean I can say that you're
an atheist as well.
Speaker 5 (40:42):
Oh boy, that's see you can't.
Speaker 2 (40:45):
Yeah, okay, whatever, Well I'm just saying I can say
those things about you. Look if a plane, if I'm
in an airplane and the plane is going down, I'm
gonna say, God, please save me. Pharaoh says he won't
say that. He won't say it because he knows no
God save him.
Speaker 5 (41:01):
So there's a difference.
Speaker 1 (41:04):
Well, see what to me what Pharaoh speaks of At
the time before, we were callingize okay, And there's a
reason why we were colonized, and there's a reason why
we don't want to accept this colonization, because yes we did.
We did worship the creator of all things before the
(41:27):
white man was Eaven created. The white man is a
new invention, okay. And they're they're here because of our disobedience.
Speaker 2 (41:40):
Oh boy, you sound like I had a Hebrew Israelite.
Remember what was his name of Alicia Israel. He said
that God put the white man on earth to be
the belt for the black folks.
Speaker 5 (41:55):
And that sounds like what you're saying.
Speaker 1 (41:57):
Well, see, this is the studying part. Okay, because see,
if you're not familiar with zuduonomy, which oh lord well,
which is not so much you know, a scripture. It's
a warning to a people of any people. But we're
first gonna start with us as a people. That's who
(42:18):
the warning was two and four. So when you lose
yourself as a people, you welcome in another people to
take over you.
Speaker 2 (42:31):
Okay, I gotta I gotta go, I gotta go. I
can't take any God, why are you punishing me? Yes,
I don't mean punished this morning. I must have disobeyed
God because they're punishing me with this Bible talk this
morning on a Wednesday. I can't wait till Greg Landsman
(42:51):
come in here so we can hear some politics. So yeah,
I can't wait. Sharon Brown is running next year, how
he feels about that. We'll talk about all that and
more coming up following the news right here on twelve
thirty the Buzz where we're monthly visit.
Speaker 5 (43:11):
What's going on? Let's start with d C. What the
hell is going on in DC?
Speaker 15 (43:16):
Well, you know it's you know, there's a there's a
public safety piece to this and a sort of political piece,
right Like the public safety piece is like DC has,
like many communities, they're struggling, especially during the summer, and
they're dealing with the fact that they've lost money or
(43:36):
money has been taken away from them. So a billion
dollars remember that Trump and this Republican controlled Congress took
from DC. Now that's money that pays for police, among
other things. And the same is true here in Ohio
where you have cities that have lost hundreds of millions
(43:57):
of dollars, like Cincinnati in local government funding that goes
to police and fire and sanitation. So you know, there's
they're squeezing these cities at a time when they desperately
need the money. And it's their money. I mean, this
is the local government money, is our money.
Speaker 5 (44:13):
How is Marino threatened to withhold federal fund? I don't know.
He said he can't do that alone, can he?
Speaker 1 (44:21):
No?
Speaker 15 (44:21):
I think it's it's a question of, you know, if
it's a White House related threughaut But either way, I mean,
I think you know, you have, you know, communities that
have to be really focused on public safety. So you know,
these mayors are mayor obviously focused on public safety, have
(44:41):
a plan and then ask federal folks and state folks
to help with that plan. And if you can supplement
that plan, great. If you are going to do something separate,
that's going to cause chaos and it's going to make
people less safe. And that's what that's what you know
looks like is happening where you're like, all right, well,
you know having the National Guard, like we had the
(45:03):
National Guard during COVID and they helped, like they made
a big difference, right, right, So like if there's a role, great,
but one, send us our money back first, right, like
give us our money back. And then two, if you
are going to send folks, they report to us. Otherwise
there's going to be chaos in terms of the chain
(45:23):
of command. And they're not trained like our folks are,
especially here in Cincinnati, and bad things are going to happen.
Speaker 2 (45:30):
Training for urban policing. And then you can forget about
the collaborative.
Speaker 5 (45:37):
Well that's in Cincinnati.
Speaker 15 (45:38):
It's like particularly relevant because the collaborative has been in
place for twenty years. You've got you know, law enforcement
that that they've worked so hard on building these relationships
and and and they know how to do it to
have somebody come in and take over their shift, you know,
that would be now if someone's going to come in
(45:58):
and help them, because you know, there's a role for
them to play, that's one thing.
Speaker 5 (46:04):
And that's so I think that's the key.
Speaker 15 (46:05):
It's like is it supplemental or is it or is
it separate and chaotic?
Speaker 5 (46:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (46:10):
Yeah, and then that's the key right there, all right,
And I don't know the mayor hasn't accepted all this
help the governor wants to give us, you know.
Speaker 15 (46:19):
Well, I think what what I've heard, and I've talked
to them a lot, is that you know, they they
have a plan, they're working their plan. It's more it's
more police, uh, you know, in more places, but in
particular the hotspots. It's using the technology from the drones
to the cameras and we're trying to get them more
funding for the cameras, uh, tackling these problem properties. Right,
(46:41):
and all of that is is good, you know, smart
community policing, visibility and then obviously making sure that people
are you know, held accountable and and the justice system works.
Speaker 5 (46:55):
Period.
Speaker 15 (46:56):
If if there are roles for additional you know folks,
you know, the national Guard to play or whoever, great,
and I think they've said, look, yeah, just let us
let us find what those define, what those roles are,
and make sure it's all done within the confines of
like what we do here, because if we all do
(47:19):
it together, then people are safe and we will make
people more safe. If we do it separately and they
come in outside of what we do, people will be
less safe.
Speaker 2 (47:31):
All right, seven four nine, twelve thirty. If you want
to talk to Congressman Greg Lansman, here is your chance.
Speaker 5 (47:38):
Give us a call. Five one three seven four nine
twelve thirty.
Speaker 2 (47:41):
What do you think about the FBI director coming to Cincinnati?
Speaker 5 (47:44):
What's it coming from?
Speaker 2 (47:45):
I have no I guess to talk about safety? Yeah,
I don't. It's all it's political.
Speaker 5 (47:51):
Trust me.
Speaker 2 (47:51):
All this stuff over a street fight and a woman
getting punched. Now, all of a sudden, this is the
most unsafe place in the world world to live is Cincinnati.
Speaker 15 (48:02):
Obviously, Cincinnati you know has public safety issues. You know
every community does to some extent. The key is do
you have leaders who are all in, locked in to
fix those public safety issues?
Speaker 5 (48:13):
And we do, which is great. Uh, and that's something
we do together. The uh.
Speaker 15 (48:19):
The the fight obviously terrible. They did arrest finally this
guy right.
Speaker 2 (48:26):
Well, they charged the I don't think they arrested. I
think he goes to court next week.
Speaker 5 (48:32):
What what was it? What's his name?
Speaker 2 (48:34):
Uh, Travinsky something? Last name was Travinsky. I can't think
of it was.
Speaker 5 (48:39):
Is he a Russian national? I think he is. I
believe he is because.
Speaker 15 (48:43):
The what what I heard very quickly, uh maybe even Sunday,
certainly by Monday, was there were Russian nationals that.
Speaker 5 (48:54):
Were part of this.
Speaker 15 (48:55):
They you know, were provoking folks, they start they started this, yeah,
and then and then several of them got on a
plane and went back to Russia.
Speaker 5 (49:04):
So like, what is that?
Speaker 15 (49:06):
And then you know, so was it an intentional thing?
And then you know, poor Holly, like she gets apparently
she's just waiting for an uber, she's trying to break
things up, and then you know what happened to her
was terrible. Yeah. So, but was this an intentional attempt
to divide us to create some sort of you know,
(49:28):
big news story. And you know, I think no matter what,
you know, the fact that you know people are being
held accountable is good. The fact that everyone's locked in
on public safety and we're going to be even more safe,
that's good. And if there are supplemental resources. I think
the mayor would say the same thing, like, if you
want to give us more resources, great, just you got
to do it as part of this plan.
Speaker 2 (49:50):
We've got the record number of people I guess trying
to run for city council this year you were on
city council?
Speaker 5 (49:55):
Is it record?
Speaker 15 (49:56):
Because like when I ran and seven, so I'm not
it's a higher number it was, it was. It was
interesting because when I started running, it was around twenty
twenty five people every year.
Speaker 5 (50:07):
I'm thinking it's around that now.
Speaker 15 (50:09):
Okay, I think that it dropped to like ten right right,
and now it's back begin I don't know, and a.
Speaker 2 (50:17):
Lot of you got Liz Keating coming back, you got,
you got the Smith, so you know you got some people. Charlie.
I don't know where Charlie Winburn is. I think he's
given up. Unbelievable. All right, five, one, three, seven, nine,
twelve thirty.
Speaker 5 (50:37):
Let's go to Joyce. Joyce, you have a question for
Greg Lansman.
Speaker 9 (50:40):
Go ahead, Hello, mister Lansman. Pretty much your job. I
appreciate what you've been doing. But what I just heard
you say you did know that the Alexander guy he
basically started to fight. It started any right and started
anything that came with it. He's a Russian nationalist, right.
Speaker 5 (50:59):
Well, I don't know that was a question. That's what
I find. That's what they're saying, and that's what they're.
Speaker 9 (51:04):
Saying he is, and is Holly from Russia too?
Speaker 5 (51:07):
No, No, she was. She was just my understanding.
Speaker 15 (51:10):
She was down there waiting for an uber tried to
actually play a peacemaker.
Speaker 9 (51:15):
And okay, first of all, do you do you know
anything about women breaking that men fight and who have
been drinking. So, no, Holly should have been on the
phone calling.
Speaker 14 (51:25):
Was she was she one of.
Speaker 9 (51:26):
The nine one one callers?
Speaker 5 (51:28):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (51:29):
She was.
Speaker 9 (51:30):
Not. Holley was not a nine one one collar. So, Hollywood, Holly,
you don't if I see men who have been drinking fighting,
I don't go in maybe's.
Speaker 5 (51:41):
And that's how I raised my kids.
Speaker 9 (51:43):
You've got a white privileged woman, white privilege that she
thinks when she steps in old they'll all fall for
the damsel in distress. No, you don't go into a
fight where white where men are fighting and have been drinking.
You get on your phone and you call the Pulley
so they can come so she can't break up anything.
She's nobody to break up anything, and she should not
have been in getting into a brawl with anyone. And
(52:05):
we don't know what else she said when she came
up there, because we don't have a video, So she's
not poor Holly. To me at this point, I like
the person because that's what you said, Greg, So I
don't think you should take a stand on anything because
we don't really know.
Speaker 5 (52:19):
Why can't he take a stand?
Speaker 15 (52:21):
You're not wrong, You're not wrong that like uh, And
I think Reverend you're not wrong.
Speaker 5 (52:27):
Like I agree like Reverend Lunch.
Speaker 15 (52:29):
I think said it really well, which is like, you know,
go downtown, have fun at some point, go home, and
you know, don't get too inebriated, and and and he
didn't say this, but you're saying it, which is really
which is smart if you see something like that, called
the police, call the police. But she I'm saying she did,
(52:49):
she should have called the police.
Speaker 13 (52:51):
Uh.
Speaker 15 (52:51):
She she can't break up I'm sure she fair enough.
But once you know, if she tried enter.
Speaker 9 (52:58):
Into something, you can't break up, Greg, that's what she
shouldn't do, I know, but break up any fight. And
I don't know why she entered it. I don't know
what epithets may have come out of her mouth. I
don't know what Holly did.
Speaker 15 (53:09):
Did you show how badly she got hurt? I mean
that's not good.
Speaker 9 (53:13):
No, she didn't get bad hurt that bad because Greg,
my ancestors have been linked.
Speaker 5 (53:18):
Mom, that's that's true. That's true.
Speaker 12 (53:20):
I'm saying, poor poor people.
Speaker 9 (53:23):
Okay. So all I can say is Holly should not
try to stop a fight because she can't. Stood on
the outside and called nine one one.
Speaker 5 (53:31):
All right, you're going over it. We went over there, Georce.
I gotta run, George, she got to run.
Speaker 15 (53:36):
I do think one of the lessons learned here is
if you see something like this, called the police.
Speaker 2 (53:41):
Yes, that's a lesson. Lesson, don't try to break it up.
Don't try to break it up? All right, miss d
How are you?
Speaker 16 (53:48):
I'm good? Linking? How about yourself?
Speaker 5 (53:49):
I'm hanging in there. What's going on?
Speaker 3 (53:51):
Okay?
Speaker 16 (53:52):
How are you?
Speaker 4 (53:52):
Miss I'm good?
Speaker 5 (53:53):
How are you?
Speaker 16 (53:55):
Okay? I'm holding on my my question to you, you
and the rest of the Democrat lawmakers so called and
all that.
Speaker 2 (54:05):
Uh.
Speaker 16 (54:05):
By the way, Joyce has the point, how come how come,
y'all can't stop Donald Trump from I mean, don't tell me.
First of all, when I asked you this question, please
don't tell me that y'all are not the majority and
you can't do nothing and all that.
Speaker 5 (54:23):
Maybe the answer, but I'm frusciating.
Speaker 16 (54:27):
Answer, likencoln. Let this man talk you a lawmaker?
Speaker 9 (54:30):
Am I right?
Speaker 2 (54:31):
I'm just I just have to throw my two cent in,
But go ahead, we'll let him answer.
Speaker 5 (54:35):
Why can't y'all stop Donald Trump?
Speaker 16 (54:37):
Wait a minute, you ain't even out here yet. Here's
my question with you. With this mail man stuff, he
always shapes some narrative and y'all jump on that vandwagon
and followed with now this mail man ballad stuff. There
is no voter fraud nowhere in this country that that
could change anything, not ever. But you guys will let
(55:01):
him get on TV or wear all that foolishness that
he's talking. You know, he crazy and old and on
some drugs. Y'all know all that, But you keep going
with what this foolishness that this man is doing. He is,
he's an oppositivity and you know he's one with pooting
them over there. He how can he be a friend
to anybody in America? Does this feel like something good?
(55:23):
That everything he does does? Does it feel positive in
any kind of way? No, I'm saying, and you guys
to me, you know, like all this taking federal funding
and all that, you guys crash to that. Now you've
got Marino and some other nuts coming down here with
some taints. Ohio was one on this list about coming
(55:46):
in like we rush here somewhere and we are allowing
people running around with masks on grabbing up folks that
you ain't got to worry about that land because you're
a white man. But Lincoln doom because Lincoln is fastkin
you might get He's don't buy somebody in a mask
or me no old woman somewhere and you never hear
(56:07):
from us again. Don't have a thing that they're gonna
stop with some immigrants and their faces are covered. To me,
ain't nothing more dangerous than that? You don't talk about
these gun laws with all these children killing each other
every single day? You you scared to fool with the
n I A don't to me, you ain't work for
plug nickel B.
Speaker 5 (56:27):
Did she never need to ask the question?
Speaker 2 (56:30):
Okay, thanks for you called she I thought she had
asked the question.
Speaker 15 (56:34):
But yeah, I mean there's a there's a there's a
level of frustration that like I feel the same way.
I mean, it's it's hard to watch this guy. Uh
you know what he's doing in the country. I mean,
in some ways we knew this is what he would do.
In other ways this is worse. Uh and and the
(56:54):
list is so long. I mean, he's he's single handedly
tanking the economy. Yeah, I mean you know, like, oh yeah,
uh he he's he's indiscriminately firing hundreds of thousands, at
least one hundred thousand public employees from the VA. Social
securities withholding money he's got, the immigration stuff is pure chaos.
Speaker 5 (57:15):
And when you guys run, you got to run on
this stuff. You gotta top this stuff, you gotta. I
do think that fresh in people's minds what he's doing.
Speaker 7 (57:24):
I do.
Speaker 15 (57:25):
I also think it's very important for us to say, uh,
what what he's doing is wrong and and and and
there is a better way, Like we are going to
have to come back from this moment. And I do
think Democrats have to uh lead on that and show
people what uh that looks like, what what does it
(57:48):
look like to fix the economy. What does it look
like to fix the tax code? What does it look
like to actually take on the n RA and UH
and to say we are going to get these guns
out of our community. What does it look like to
you know, fix healthcare, expand it, you know, address these cuts,
(58:09):
fix our democracy. I mean, I agree that, you know,
on one hand, you got to fight you know what
you're seeing, and you've got to be loud and vocal
and tough about it.
Speaker 5 (58:19):
Like I have no problem saying calling any of this out.
I also believe that people need to see.
Speaker 15 (58:26):
An alternative, Like Democrats can't just be like, well, we
don't like this, dude, Like we have to build trust
or rebuild trust. As the group that says like, no,
we're the ones that will build you a better economy.
We will actually have the courage to fix the tax code,
to make the folks at the top pay all their
taxes and then invest that money in balancing the budget
and invest it in people that We're going to be
(58:47):
the ones that expand healthcare.
Speaker 5 (58:48):
We're going to be the ones that improve our schools.
Speaker 15 (58:50):
We're going to be the ones that tackle gun violence,
Like we're going to be the ones that keep you safe,
and we haven't done that. I laid out a plan
our ten bills called a pledge to a Mayora, and
you can go find it. But I'm trying to say
to this party, like, y'all got to step up and
show the American people what we would do.
Speaker 5 (59:10):
And that hasn't happened yet.
Speaker 2 (59:12):
Right now, Yeah, people are losing confidence in the Democratic Party.
Speaker 15 (59:15):
I saw I saw a story today about registration and
you know the number of folks that just aren't registering.
Speaker 5 (59:24):
Yeah, and a lot of people are getting purged and
they're not coming back.
Speaker 15 (59:28):
I mean, the voter suppression part is the most the
most horrific, And this is where Democrats really screwed up.
In twenty twenty one. They had the House, the Senate,
and the Presidency and the John Lewis Voting Rights Law
would end voter suppression, the ban dark money, and end
partisan jerry mandering. Now imagine had they passed it, the
(59:48):
House passed it, Pelosi got it done, and then Kristen
Cinema and mansion.
Speaker 5 (59:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 15 (59:54):
Yeah, but like I don't remember a fight. I don't
remember Biden fighting about this. But this is that that's
the bill, because that returns power back to people and
then you know everything follows.
Speaker 2 (01:00:05):
All right, Let's take a break and then we'll come
back with more of your questions. We got Geneva, Joan White,
Lion Twin and others holding on.
Speaker 5 (01:00:15):
We'll get to you on twelve thirty the Buzz your.
Speaker 2 (01:00:19):
Talk station, Lincoln Wear with you till one o'clock in
the studio with me Congressman Greg Landsman, and we got
a few more minutes of take your calls. If you
have questions, you better get it in now. Geneva, what's
your question? Please have a question and not a commentary.
Speaker 10 (01:00:37):
Well, I actually have both, but I want to say
that Greg, you know there was a young boy killed
here Israel. Bishop, you're met in personally, and you know,
I don't know if you see what we see, and
I don't know what you have to deal with?
Speaker 16 (01:00:57):
Uh in DC?
Speaker 10 (01:01:00):
What is yours? Because what we're saying, what I'm seeing
is that they're the redistricting that's going on, the Project
twenty twenty five is well in effect, and the and
the Democratic Party is silent.
Speaker 16 (01:01:15):
If they are talking.
Speaker 10 (01:01:17):
No one hears them. What is your overall feeling? Because
I'm gonna tell you something. If what I see is
what's happening. We're in a real, real, big trouble. And
I'm gonna say this. The people who are pushing this
agenda thinks that it's not gonna hit their door, but
oh yes it is, and yours too, and you know that.
(01:01:40):
So nobody's gonna nobody's gonna get away. And I and
I know it must be hard. That's why I'm not
calling the judge. But how can we And and matter
of fact, Holly, I saw a by which she would
be and I said, I wouldn't have done it to
but she was beating it, turned around and punched her
all on the back of his head and in his back.
(01:02:03):
She also said, because I think she realized she played
a part in our initial video, she said, my life
was in such darkness before this happened. And so now
she's four hundred and some thousand dollars rich and not
send a session at her. But she was over there
instead of calling the police, she was beating this guy
in the back. I saw it. So she's not totally
(01:02:25):
absolved either, But you see, how can they run and
get We know it's racism, and I don't know if
anybody is saying that you and others, how can we
run and get these people for a fight whatever you
want to call it. And this Israel Bishop, young boy,
his killer has not been found since the young woman
(01:02:47):
who's five kids. So it's obvious obviously, and so are
what are you and other Democrats are saying at the
floor up there? What do you see?
Speaker 16 (01:02:58):
What is the climate?
Speaker 17 (01:02:59):
What do you think?
Speaker 5 (01:03:00):
All right, hang up and listen to the answer. Thanks.
Speaker 15 (01:03:02):
I feel the same way, and you know, it's like
peak frustration for me. I see myself by sorry, sorry,
I see my colleagues and obviously I I do the same,
you know, trying to break through.
Speaker 5 (01:03:16):
Uh you know, we speak up.
Speaker 15 (01:03:17):
I go on podcasts, I go on the radio, I
go on TV, I go on the house floor. It
is is it is difficult to break through, especially with
this man. It's not an excuse. I'm just saying, like
this is like, it's not it's not for a lack
of trying. It's just that it's it is, you know,
Gavin Newsom is finally starting to break through because he's
uh he's tweeting like Trump, right, so like you just
you know it and so we just you keep at
(01:03:39):
it until you break through. But what I have proposed,
because I am so frustrated, is that what we don't
have is a dedicated team to this moment, right so
so so I have publicly and privately called for a
new entity that would focus entirely on this moment and
(01:03:59):
and help us all punch through because it's just not happening.
And I'm making some progress, but you know, I'm I'm
a very determined person. Like when I get something and
I'm i'm you know, I get borderline obsessed with it,
like I'm going to make this happen because like I
think of it like the Olympics, when a city wants
to go for, you know, something, like they don't just
say like this is something we want and everyone keeps
(01:04:21):
doing their job. They have dedicated leadership. They have an
entire organization to it. And that's what they did with
Project twenty twenty five. They had the Heritage Foundation. Where's ours?
And I want to see that happen. Now, all right, Deborah,
you have a question.
Speaker 18 (01:04:35):
Yes, good morning, good morning morning. I have a positive
comment to you. I emailed your office because I was
having trouble getting my granddaughter at school. Yeah, and you
put your people on it, and she was in school
the next probum because I remember you hear preschool problems.
You are positive things, and I will always well for you.
Speaker 9 (01:04:57):
I appreciate what today.
Speaker 15 (01:04:59):
You too, And then anyone can call the office. They
call us like we can help with anything.
Speaker 5 (01:05:03):
Now what problem was you have?
Speaker 2 (01:05:04):
And you you remember, is just getting our kid enrolled? Okay, okay,
all right, well there you go. You can get your congressman.
Speaker 15 (01:05:10):
But but but but Social Security call us, veterans, you know,
the VA, call us. You got a medical issue. Call
do not try to do this on your own, like,
let us help. We have staff that just does this
with you.
Speaker 5 (01:05:22):
Okay, all right, Joan, how are you fine?
Speaker 17 (01:05:25):
How are you?
Speaker 5 (01:05:26):
Okay? John?
Speaker 17 (01:05:29):
Congressman, My question is because you guys are the legislative branch,
right yeah, you all make the laws right, correct, and
you have control over spending right correct. So this stuff
that Trump says that he can cut out out dedicated,
that's not his decision. That's congress decision.
Speaker 5 (01:05:51):
Correct, correct.
Speaker 17 (01:05:53):
Okay, So what people don't realize, they say, now Trump
is something else. You know, I would never vote for
that man in Hassan. But if everyone thinks that Trump
is doing this, but Congress is actually allowing him to
do this.
Speaker 15 (01:06:10):
That's like I tried to make this argument all the time,
which is that there's only so much power that Trump
has when it comes to you know, medicare, spending in general,
even immigration, you name it. Like he tries to pretend
like he has more power than he actually does. He's
enabled by a congressional a Republican led Congress that has said,
(01:06:34):
you know, we're not gonna we're not going to take
back our terrorf authority. We're going to let you do
these trade wars that are that are going to cost
people thousands and thousands of dollars a year.
Speaker 5 (01:06:43):
It's going to destroy economy.
Speaker 15 (01:06:45):
They went ahead and passed a megaspending bill that took
healthcare away from fifteen million people, all to pay for
tax cuts. They passed a decision bill that took money
away from, uh, you know, all the aid work that
we do around the world to keep people you know,
(01:07:06):
fad and to make sure that they get vaccinated and
to ensure that regions remain stable.
Speaker 5 (01:07:11):
That is one Congress. I agree what I.
Speaker 17 (01:07:14):
Want to say, everyone needs to hear this because what
it is of the Republican has the majority of the House,
and reason why those bills passed, and reason why Medicaid
has been taken. It wasn't Trump, it was the Republicans
in Congress. And what everyone needs to know to be
(01:07:36):
able to find out who voted that way to take
it all right, we need only one more team Lincoln.
Speaker 5 (01:07:43):
I want to ask and House and Senate.
Speaker 15 (01:07:45):
Just look at the House and the Senate who voted
for it in the House and the Senate exactly.
Speaker 17 (01:07:49):
And also I want everyone to hear this. There's a
false narrative about Social Security. We the people, anyone that
works get bycer taxes, take it out and they pay.
The employee pays six points and the employer pays six points.
Is money goes into a trust fund?
Speaker 5 (01:08:11):
Correct your money?
Speaker 17 (01:08:13):
Now, I want you to tell the people, is the
federal government are they putting any money funding any money
to Social.
Speaker 15 (01:08:20):
Security outside of the You know, it's interesting. I don't
know the answer that question.
Speaker 17 (01:08:26):
I assume tell you to answer.
Speaker 5 (01:08:28):
I assume they're not.
Speaker 15 (01:08:29):
I assume it's very little because we fund this the
Socialecurity Administration. But most of that comes from your right,
I mean, it's your money. The point is it's your money.
Speaker 17 (01:08:38):
And what they have done. Our presidents have taken because
we have the surplus which Reagan started at and they
have been taking our money from that surplus. Know why
they are saying that they don't have enough fund by
a certain year to fund social Security. So people, you
need to understand. Call your coquished and let them know.
(01:09:02):
We know what they're doing there. All right, have the majority,
they are the ones messing everything up them.
Speaker 15 (01:09:11):
Thanks, they're coming for social Security uh and uh and
they're trying to undermine it now by cutting the staff
and and it's harder for people to call. That's why
you should call our office because we can help you
get through. It's not the way this is supposed to be. Ultimately,
this is your money.
Speaker 3 (01:09:26):
Uh.
Speaker 15 (01:09:26):
And we pass I fought for uh a discharge petition
to get a vote on the Social Security a fair
INNOSCT because you had all these retired teachers, police officer, firefighters,
letter carriers, three million of them who paid into Social Security,
but because they got to stay pension, they weren't getting it.
Speaker 5 (01:09:40):
We got that done last year. All right.
Speaker 2 (01:09:42):
I have a question before you have to go, I
have a question. See my questions are just simple and
straight to the point when will the starvation in in Gaza?
So when would this? You got to stop, ned and
Yahoo's got to stop.
Speaker 15 (01:09:55):
So I got a chance to meet with all the
humanitarian aid organizations or most to them, and and and
speak directly with the Prime Minister there there there does
seem to be a very big shift, uh, and the
rhetoric and the work. So now they're they're surging a
they're at like three hundred and fifty to four hundred trucks.
They got to get to five six hundred and then
(01:10:15):
they've got to build roads, better roads because like the
more aid is getting in, but it's got to get
to the people. And so we're doing biweekly calls with
members of Congress just on this.
Speaker 5 (01:10:24):
I'm people are killing each other getting to the food.
So it's crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:10:28):
All right, Greg Landsman, always great to have you here
once a month. We appreciate it, and we'll talk to
you next month. Give us an update on the take
whatever's going on the takeover in DC. Yes, all right,
let's take a break. Twelve thirty the buzz Uh. Yeah,
we didn't get to everybody because people don't ask quick
and short questions. The luller you take the less people
(01:10:50):
I'll be able to get to when when I have
people like Greg Landsman and the mayor and stuff like that.
If you ask short, simple questions, we can get to
more people.
Speaker 5 (01:11:00):
But when you got.
Speaker 2 (01:11:02):
Three minutes of questions and five minutes of commentary, we
can't do it as simple as that. Let's go to
the Dukester find out what's cooking on a Wednesday.
Speaker 5 (01:11:10):
What's cooking over there?
Speaker 19 (01:11:12):

buzs listeners. It's a great day to be alive and
a great day to be hungry. And if that's the case,
you should make a point to stop by the Doukes

Speaker 2 (01:12:18):
All right, that's the Dukester right there in the Summit
Plaza on Reading Road. All right in the studio with
me today we have none of Hold on a minute,
I lost it here because I want to get your
whole name right.
Speaker 5 (01:12:32):
I want to get the whole thing right. Hold on
a second. Here here we go. Let you see, hold on,
hold on, Sonya, Jackson Miles.
Speaker 2 (01:12:40):
Got to get that whole name in there because I
didn't give the whole name before.
Speaker 5 (01:12:44):
Sonya. Welcome to the show.
Speaker 20 (01:12:46):
Oh thank you so much. It is an honor to
be here with you.
Speaker 5 (01:12:50):
Tell us a little bit about the Sister Accord.
Speaker 2 (01:12:52):
You're having your big anniversary coming up, tell us a
little bit about that.
Speaker 20 (01:12:56):
The Sister Accord Foundation is on a miss to have
one billion girls and women learn how to love themselves
in each other while understanding and embracing their value and worth.
And what's so important there you go, what's so important
(01:13:18):
about this work is I recognized when I was in
corporate America, when I helped all of my mentees understand
their value and worth, their differences. There were so many
differences in how they showed up, in how they lived
their lives, in what they chose to do. And so
that's what our organization focuses on today. We have three
(01:13:41):
areas of focus, educating girls and women, enlightening girls and
women of the power of sisterhood, in eradicating bullying and

women owned businesses.
Speaker 2 (01:13:59):
Now, you think, when you think of somebody being bullied,
adults are bullied sometime in the workplace and things like that.
Speaker 20 (01:14:05):
That's right, that's right, and we want wherever it is happening,
we want to eradicate it.
Speaker 2 (01:14:12):
Now, when is the event taking place and where and
how can people get ticked?

The focus for the Sister Court is all about.
Speaker 5 (01:15:59):
Leading with love.
Speaker 20 (01:16:00):
What happens when we leave with love?
Speaker 5 (01:16:03):
How do we heal?
Speaker 20 (01:16:04):
How do we transform from trauma? All of those things
are what we focus on all year long. So emotional, mental,
and physical health and well being are part of all
of our programming. And so people can sign up to

Speaker 5 (01:16:39):
All right, sounds good to me. Sounds good to me.
Speaker 2 (01:16:42):
And I'll tell you what you do for the women
out there and helping them, you know, cope in the workplace,
in school, all over the place.
Speaker 5 (01:16:50):
So you're doing great work, Sonya Jackson Miles.
Speaker 20 (01:16:55):
Here it be like Steve Harvey, tell me you have
too many names. First of all, Sonya, stop using three names.
Speaker 5 (01:17:00):
You don't need all three of those. And some people
get a mixed up they call you son, your Miles Jackson.
Speaker 6 (01:17:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:17:07):
See that's exactly what happened, right, And.
Speaker 2 (01:17:09):
I wanted to get it right, Sonya Jackson Miles.
Speaker 20 (01:17:12):
I'm so honored to be here with you. You know,
our city needs healing, it needs the love that we
exude across the city. Yes, and so now more than ever,
it's our time, and I believe, I believe that we're
called for such a time as this.
Speaker 5 (01:17:27):
All right, well, thank you for joining me, Sonya Jackson Miles.
Speaker 2 (01:17:30):
From the from the Sister Accord and your big anniversary
twelfth anniversary coming up.
Speaker 5 (01:17:36):
Yes, all right, hey, thank you for appreciate you so much.
All right, let's take a break.
Speaker 2 (01:17:41):
Twelve thirty the Buzz Station Lincoln were with you till
one o'clock this afternoon.
Speaker 5 (01:17:47):
Coming up at one is riven.
Speaker 2 (01:17:49):
Our Shop done, Keeping it real, keeping it real, let's
go to my good friend Kaz Smith.
Speaker 5 (01:17:55):
Reverend Kaz Smith.
Speaker 3 (01:17:57):
How you doing doing very well?
Speaker 5 (01:17:59):
How you do I'm hanging in there. What's up?
Speaker 1 (01:18:01):
Good?
Speaker 21 (01:18:02):
Just want to announce that on tomorrow, on Thursday, it's
going to be a gathering down at Fountain Square to
deal with justice. It's really a rally for justice. We're
calling it the gathering. We want to deal with you.
First of all, why did it take so long to
investigate the Russian? Yeah, when the black people were charged
(01:18:24):
right away, even though the investigation is still going on,
they were charged right away. And then you end up
charging the Russian with a misdemeanor a disorderly conduct in
which he would only get thirty days at the most,
where now the black people can get up to almost
thirty years. And even though they may be trying to
(01:18:47):
overcharge them to give them a lesser time as if
they got a deal, even to even suggest that they
can get thirty years is really a crime in itself.
So we're going to gather for that. Also, you know
Bernie Marino, he's in town and talking about bringing the
FBI in, but also he keeps talking about this Holly Bill. Now,
(01:19:07):
if the investigation is still going on.
Speaker 1 (01:19:09):
Then that's me.
Speaker 21 (01:19:10):
She's also in the investigation, but he's now calling the
bill after her, just basically suggests she's innocent, you know,
and so how you're gonna say she's innocent? And the
investigation is still going on. And again we're not we're
not condoning the fight at all, but we're calling for justice,
and justice doesn't seem like it's taking place. And then
(01:19:33):
last night, you know, we discovered you know, the KKK
passed our flyers in bond Hill. Yeah, they did. They
did it in Avendale. Now they did it in bond Hill.
And so again, you know, the climate in our country,
you know, with with the racist president that we have,
(01:19:54):
the climate in our country now has just become very crazy.
It's always been ra but it's you know, it's just
blazing people coming out front and they don't care anymore.
And so we just cannot sit back and not do anything.
And so we're asking everyone please come down the Fountain
Square tomorrow at at twelve noon and and and we're
(01:20:17):
going to you know, it's gonna be several groups, you know,
like Aimers, the greatest Cincinnati faith leaders and others will
be down there. Mark Metropolitan Area of Religious Coalition will
be there. There will be several groups down there, but
we need to show a presence to let them know
that we're just not gonna put up with it. And
and again, and also to protect you know, Tracy Hunter.
(01:20:40):
She's been a part of our group and she's starting
to receive well, she continues to receive threats, and you know,
they're saying all kinds of things. Now what they're going
to do. They're really blaming the fight. If you look
on some social media sites, they're blaming the fight on
Tracy Hunter, which doesn't even make sense, you know, and.
Speaker 1 (01:21:00):
So they're threateningly.
Speaker 21 (01:21:01):
But she's been a part of our group, and so
we're calling also again we have to stand with our
black women because Tracy Hunter past Tracy Hunter, Irish Rowley,
a Tracy artist. They've been talking about her Victoria Parks
and she said, you know, this guy's begging for the beatdown.
She wasn't saying she supported the beatdown.
Speaker 1 (01:21:23):
He was saying all the stuff he was doing.
Speaker 21 (01:21:25):
He's calling people racist and he say he was bigger
for the beat down, and that's basically what she was saying.
And then even our city manager, sure a long and
so we know we need to really protect our black women.
So please come out tomorrow twelve.
Speaker 2 (01:21:37):
No, all right, sounds good to me, Revien Kayzy Smith,
thanks for colling. All right, but all right that's tomorrow
twelve noon. Fountain Square, yep, be there or B Square
on Fountain Square. Yes, whatever. But people talk to talk,
but whenn't get to them's time to showing up and
(01:21:57):
letting your face be seen.
Speaker 5 (01:22:00):
They kind of, you know, hide behind the keyboards, you
know they Hi. All right, let's go to Brenda. Brenda,
how are you?
Speaker 17 (01:22:14):
Yes, Lincoln, could you chose the name of the people
are supposed to be getting in touch with me concerning
the incident at the Great American Oh?
Speaker 5 (01:22:24):
Okay, you know what they I got to call them.
Speaker 2 (01:22:27):
They sent me a text message and say please call me,
and I forgot to call him back.
Speaker 5 (01:22:32):
I will call him back. Call me back tomorrow, Brenda, okay,
and I'll have some answers for you. Thanks for your call.
All right. Let's go to Kevin Farmer.
Speaker 3 (01:22:43):
Kevin, Hey, Lincoln, Uh, I was about to talk about
something else about the city council rate, about the city
council rate in candidate's but KZ systems. So I just
don't understand. Why don't they just the police department? Since
CPD arrested these in the US, isn't is it isn't
the chief of police? Why didn't they go after this,
(01:23:04):
go as the chief of police and the mayor and
Sheryl Long who pretty much controls the police and made
and I guess confirmed the arrest.
Speaker 2 (01:23:15):
Well I didn't understand, Like, well, I mean, the guy
hasn't even been arrested. First of all, he was charged
and I guess he will go to court when they
gave him a date and uh, it's like they cited
him the court. I don't know what what kind of
deal that was. But anyway, he's supposed to be in
(01:23:36):
court next week. But the charges, nobody's happy with the charges.
The lowest misdemeanor that you can get, and it's just like,
let's throw those black folks some crumbs and be done
with it.
Speaker 5 (01:23:47):
So we'll charge him with this.
Speaker 3 (01:23:49):
But isn't this a democratic administration?
Speaker 5 (01:23:51):
That literally, yes, it is, Yes, it is yes.
Speaker 3 (01:23:55):
So one thing is that this is the administration that
charged these individuals. I don't understand why, because I'm going
to go down to the square.
Speaker 5 (01:24:01):
Well, they're taking they're taking the politics out of it.
Speaker 3 (01:24:04):
I wouldn't want to see what they're what this is
all about. But it's no rockets. But I feel like
they should be taking this to the mayor and suare
and and your and your city manager, because I definitely
believe we need to protect our black women and definitely
when it comes down to black women and black people period.
But I'm just saying, maybe we need to take the
fight into city Hall where your administration has literally confirmed
(01:24:26):
these arrests and they're not speaking out.
Speaker 2 (01:24:28):
Well, it's not me, it's it's the police department. They're
not running the police department from council.
Speaker 3 (01:24:35):
But your but your city manager and mayor runs the
police department. That's who runs the police department, your your city.
Your city manager is the CEO of the City of Cincinnati.
Speaker 2 (01:24:43):
Right, and that's who that That's who the police department
answers to her, The police department answers to the city manager.
Speaker 3 (01:24:51):
Exactly, and your city manager answers pretty much notified and
updates the mayor about what's going on. So the mayor
has an already knew who was getting charged. And I'm
assuming that they already were in formed. So why are
we taking the why are we taking this issue just
publicly in front of the square and not in city Hall?
(01:25:12):
That's what I'm saying where they're actually working at.
Speaker 5 (01:25:15):
Well, maybe you find out tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (01:25:17):
Why don't you ask some questions of the people that
are putting it together, ask that question tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (01:25:22):
My thing is the Centennials or any of the Sentinels,
the Sentinels, not the Centennial, but the Sentinels. Have they
made a statement about this issue, about this about this
issue as well, not that I have seen.
Speaker 5 (01:25:36):
They may have, but I haven't seen it. I haven't
seen anything from the Sentinels.
Speaker 3 (01:25:41):
So my thing is when it comes to black police officers,
was it just called that these industries?
Speaker 2 (01:25:45):
I do think the Sentinels are backing uh black folks
on this when I do think so, But uh they
you know they're members of the FOP.
Speaker 5 (01:25:55):
Also, don't forget that, remember the Sentinels are part of
the FOP.
Speaker 3 (01:26:00):
Yeah, they all pay, they are paying to they all
pay into it. But my thing is, my thing is
h My thing is this Lincoln. I just look at it.
You you had this administration was responsible for these for
this arrest, for these arrests, and I just look at
it when they say they're talking about race, and I'm thinking, like, dang,
but your administration is Democrat and they're the ones who
(01:26:22):
pretty much ordered this, made sure this arrest took place.
Speaker 1 (01:26:25):
And we don't hear.
Speaker 3 (01:26:26):
Nothing from the chief of police. Also do we do
we have anything from the chief of police about that.
Speaker 5 (01:26:31):
I haven't heard anything from the chief lately.
Speaker 3 (01:26:33):
Now, And that's the problem. That's the problem is because
this is what I'm saying, Lincoln, if I if people,
if I got if I, if I get into positions,
I can pretty much what I will do is put
out motions every time. If I can put out motions
to pretty much put the put the chief of police. Uh,
put the chief of police as an elected official.
Speaker 13 (01:26:54):
But you need to be able to list.
Speaker 2 (01:26:59):
Kevin Kenvin, hold up, stop stop just listening to you.
You have the same narrative as the Republicans have. You
guys are trying to you. Guys are trying to smash
You're trying to dog out the administration. Right here before
the mayor runs against Bowman, You're trying to trash the administration.
(01:27:19):
You're trying to trash the city cities not safe. They need,
you know, we need to make the city safe. It's
you following there that same blueprint.
Speaker 3 (01:27:28):
Do you believe that the city that's that city city
that residents of the city of Cincinnati should be able
to elect our city are chief of police, Because that's
what I mean.
Speaker 1 (01:27:40):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:27:40):
I don't even know.
Speaker 2 (01:27:41):
I don't know what community elects their chief. I don't
know whether there's too many big cities that votely direct
elects their chief.
Speaker 3 (01:27:52):
What city name a city and we left our sheriff.
Speaker 2 (01:27:56):
That's that's different than a city of this. Do they
elect the chief in Chicago the police chief in Chicago?
Speaker 13 (01:28:03):
Know?
Speaker 3 (01:28:04):
Don't they more transparency with people that people get a
chance to make a decision on who they're chiefs? Because
if your chief ain't doing the job, can we can reelect?
Speaker 2 (01:28:11):
Well, see, if you elect the chief and they're not
doing it, you can't fire the chief, and you can't
fire an elected official like that.
Speaker 5 (01:28:18):
Just that easy the.
Speaker 3 (01:28:20):
Chief if people wanted them to fire. Now the city
manager has to fire.
Speaker 2 (01:28:24):
And the city manager. The city manager could do that
today if she wanted to. But if you elect the chief,
you can't do it like that. You can't fire them
immediately to at.
Speaker 3 (01:28:36):
So the city manager is an appointing an individual and
the chief of police is appointed an individual. Please allow
our chief of police to be an elected official.
Speaker 2 (01:28:44):
I don't think the chief of police should be elected,
simple as that. Thanks for your call. I got news
coming up twelve thirty The Buzz
