Speaker 1 (00:11):
I'm still unn a speeding bullets, more powerful, gonna locomotive
able believe ball buildings at a single down.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Look, I'm gonna cry.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
It's a parry Lincoln.
Speaker 4 (00:27):
Lincoln, Lincoln go bingus for Nanaba being gun by man
gun Lincoln.
Speaker 3 (00:34):
They say this.
Speaker 5 (00:34):
Cat Lincoln is a bad mother child. We're just talking
about Lincoln.
Speaker 6 (00:42):
Good morning, Cincinnati. Welcome to twelve thirty w DBZ. We
are the buzz of Cincinnati, your talk station, the Lincoln
Wear Show till one o'clock this afternoon, and we are
broadcasting live here downstairs from the station and then the
lobby of seven o five Central Avenue, Centennial Plaza.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:06):
Here, there's a lot of static in here. We'll fix that.
We'll see if you can get Owen down here. Get
Owen down here.
Speaker 6 (01:12):
And plus the Wi Fi, the Wi Fi doesn't seem
to be very strong, so we might have to switch
Wi Fi networks. We'll do that during the next break,
but between now and then and we'll try to uh.
We'll also try to fix that static that you're hearing
on Facebook live. I don't know what that could be.
(01:33):
We'll check it out, see if we can fix it,
see if we can work with it and.
Speaker 5 (01:39):
Come on down.
Speaker 6 (01:39):
We're asking you to bring toys down. We're gonna give
them to the Cincinnati Recreation Commission. They'll have a big
event where they give them out to kids in the community.
You know, how would you like if you woke up
without any Christmas presents at all on Christmas Morning? You
wouldn't have liked it very much, would you know? You'd
be upset ran to the tree looking for those presents. Well,
(02:03):
everybody can't afford to do that. So we're gonna help
out all the people who may be in need throughout Cincinnati,
and we're collecting toys all over the city Cincinnati Recreation Commission,
they're even collecting them down to City Hall. Yeah, so
that will be a great thing for you to do.
(02:26):
But yeah, we're working on this static on the Facebook Live.
I don't think you can hear it on the air,
but it's just on Facebook Live, which narrows it down
quite a bit.
Speaker 5 (02:35):
Yes, so that's that all right. Things that are going on.
Speaker 6 (02:42):
The I guess Scottie Johnson and some members of city
council they're upset that they have to pay eight million
and the county owner has to pay sixty five thousand.
How does that work out? How does that work out?
I don't think it works out very good for the
(03:05):
City of Cincinnati. Sixty five thousand for the county eight
million for the city who worked that deal man, while
here was the prosecutor and the sheriff really worked the deal.
That's what I'm hearing. I don't know, but they say
the city was pushing for a settlement. They wanted to
get it settled. But I don't know if they wanted
(03:26):
it under those terms. I don't know, but we will see.
Speaker 5 (03:32):
We will see.
Speaker 6 (03:35):
But they're not happy at all. Scottie Johnson is not happy.
He said, the police did their job. We shouldn't have
to pay for them doing their job, and I'm standing
with them. Ten toes down, he said, ten toes down,
So there you go. Hamilton County Prosecutor, Countie Pillage wants
(03:57):
to staff her conviction Integrity unit after investigation. What investigation
is she talking about? But anyway, don't forget Elwood Jones.
His trial is next Tuesday, nine o'clock. Judge Wendy Croft
(04:22):
in her courtroom. Yes, Wendy Cross in her courtroom, So
I will be there. Hopefully you can make it down
there also, and don't get if you bring toys in.
If you can, I know it's kind of gloomy out there.
I think the rain is kind of slowing down. If
you can bring some toys down here. You got a business,
(04:43):
you got something you want to promote, We'll let you
do that today, but only if you bring some toys down. Yes,
we got some regular advertisers that are coming in to
sit in to promote their events, some people who are
buying advertising.
Speaker 5 (04:58):
Of course they'll get to talk. They don't have to
bring toys because they brought money to the station. Yes,
so we're good. We're good there. But uh yeah, that's.
Speaker 6 (05:12):
That's the way things going now. So bring those toys
in and advertise your business.
Speaker 5 (05:18):
We'll let you do it. Did Shador Sanders have on
a thong? That's the latest thing going on.
Speaker 6 (05:26):
So he was, I guess tackled in the end zone,
and when he got ready to get up, his pants
sort of came down and it looked like he had
on a thong. Yes, and he says he didn't. I've
looked at the video. Okay, he says, what at first
I thought, I said, that's a jockstrap. He's got a
(05:47):
jockstrap on. That's what the and then you know everybody
on the internet, they would come in. He No, that's
not a jockstrap. And anyway, so he says, Sanders says
it was he had a back and you know, he
broke his back when he was in college. He broke
his back and he says they bandaged his backup and
it just looked like that with the bandage that he
(06:09):
plays with every week because he broke his back in
college two years ago.
Speaker 5 (06:15):
So that's what he says.
Speaker 7 (06:17):
That was.
Speaker 5 (06:18):
It was not a thong. He said, it's funny that
they're thinking that it's funny, but no, that was not
a thong he had on on Sunday.
Speaker 6 (06:28):
But when you first look at it, that's the first
thing you think about. First thing you think about is
the uh, it looks like a thong.
Speaker 5 (06:38):
But it wasn't, he says.
Speaker 8 (06:40):
No.
Speaker 6 (06:41):
A Cinnabon employee was fired after making racist comments to customers.
And I think the customers were a Somalians. This happened
in Wisconsin there and they went up to the counter,
they asked for more caramel on their cinnamon pecan roll
(07:05):
and the employee allegedly made an insulting remark, after which
one of the Somalians began filming and she called them
the N word. She showed the camera her two middle
fingers and she said, I am racist, and I say
(07:26):
that to the whole entire world. Yeah, these people are
getting going crazy. They're getting so brave nowadays.
Speaker 5 (07:36):
All right, so what did he say anything?
Speaker 6 (07:41):
Okay, when we go to break, we're gonna okay, all right, well,
when we go to break, we'll fix this Wi Fi
connection for the Facebook live folks. But bring those toys
down here today and we'll be good to go. Gotta
raise toys for the kids for Christmas morning, and you
can't make it today. Down one for show will be
(08:01):
out in Westchester. I think it's coming Saturday, Yes, and
we'll give you information on that. Philip Rivers, who is
forty four years old, may end up playing for the
Coats at forty four.
Speaker 5 (08:18):
Yeah, so he's even older than our guy. Yes, yes,
he's even.
Speaker 6 (08:27):
Older than flaccoh Flaco is what forty forty one? This
guy's forty four and the Coats need him. Two of
their quarterbacks are down. They're back to the practice squad quarterback.
Speaker 5 (08:39):
And they need some help. Why don't they make a
trade with Cleveland. Now, that wouldn't work.
Speaker 6 (08:46):
If Shadur needs to stay in Cleveland, he will be
the starting quarterback, maybe for a long time there.
Speaker 5 (08:53):
Maybe, I don't know.
Speaker 6 (08:56):
We'll see, all right, five one three, twelve thirty. How
does the guy get shot.
Speaker 5 (09:05):
At the.
Speaker 6 (09:07):
Pizza at the at Papa John's. Two people shot at
Papa John's. One man dies, twenty three year old died.
They're not sure if either of them worked at Papa John's.
But uh, this happened over on the west side of town. Yes,
(09:31):
the west side says, we can't be left out when
it comes to violence. We gotta have our own violence
over here. But the guy died over in Price Hill
eleven o'clock inside Papa John's. Now, I would say at
eleven o'clock. I'm not sure Papa John's was opened at eleven,
but they probably are still doing delivery.
Speaker 5 (09:50):
I'm gonna take a guess that one or more of them,
one or both were employees. I'm guessing.
Speaker 6 (09:58):
They haven't said yet, but I think when they finally say,
one or both of them were employees at Papa john.
Speaker 5 (10:07):
So I don't know. The whole world is going crazy.
The whole world is going crazy.
Speaker 6 (10:14):
All right, we're gonna take a break and then we'll
come back the Lincoln Wear show. And oh, by the way,
Facebook life, folks, we're getting ready to cut it off
and then we'll sign back on again to try to
keep all these disruptions from happening.

Speaker 14 (15:53):
You know you said that I didn't say that this
is ABC fakeness.
Speaker 5 (15:57):
I mean he said it, plain and day. And then
he said, you said that, I didn't say that, this
is ABC news fake new. Oh when why does he
lie so much? And why do people believe?
Speaker 6 (16:12):
And there's some people out there listening say, well, he
didn't say that, and you just heard him say it.
You heard him say it. What a liar, What a liar?
And then and he ought to know every time he
opens his mouth, there's a microphone right there. There's a
microphone there, and he denies what he said. Oh boy,
(16:35):
I just oh, you just don't know how that man
gets on my nerves. But he just flat out lied
like he didn't say it.
Speaker 5 (16:43):
I didn't say that. You said that. I didn't say that.
Oh boy.
Speaker 6 (16:48):
Five one, three, seven, four, nine, twelve thirty link and
wear with you till one o'clock this afternoon.
Speaker 5 (16:54):
Brother Powell is first in line.
Speaker 6 (16:56):
He brought the towels and uh, I mean the toys
and appreciate that, Brother Powell. All right, And with the

just the prototype for a good politician. She knows her stuff.
I'm telling you, she's pretty she's pretty good.
Speaker 5 (17:43):
Yeah. She rattles that stuff off, like, yeah, she she
knows her stuff. Who does she work for? Well, yeah,
I worked for Obama. Yeah that's right. Yeah, yeah.

and that's.
Speaker 6 (18:36):
Where all the local vendors will show up. You can
buy your Christmas gifts from local vendors, black vendors, most
of them are. And yeah, we'll tell you more about
that when Kathy Lewis comes in, who is the co
founder of Hallebration. Yes, so we'll talk about that former
(18:59):
Sencin Hospital employee has been suspended of having child porn.
Speaker 5 (19:05):
I think this is on Local Twelves.
Speaker 6 (19:07):
Yeah, go to Local Twelves website. And this guy looks
like the typical child porn type guy.
Speaker 5 (19:15):
If you see.
Speaker 6 (19:16):
I mean, if you had a picture of a guy
with child porn, his picture would be in the dictionary.
Speaker 5 (19:23):
I mean, look at this guy. He looks like brother Val.
You agree, Yeah, he looks like child porn. I mean, geez,
my goodness. But he's been arrested and he had he
was distributing videos of child sex abuse.
Speaker 6 (19:44):
Unbelievable. I just can't believe these guys can do that stuff.
It's just, oh man, unbelievable. All right, five, one, three, seven, four, nine,
twelve thirty. We're gonna take a break.

Speaker 5 (20:32):

Really they changed Okay over there.

They love us. They're stopping us and taking pictures of us.
Speaker 5 (21:07):
Yeah, they do that in the China and Japan. They
love to take pictures there.
Speaker 15 (21:13):
We're in Tokyo.
Speaker 7 (21:14):
It's like like New York ten times widened up ten
times really, and everything all the living living spaces are
soon high up. I couldn't do that height.
Speaker 15 (21:29):
But oh yeah, it's a lot of people.
Speaker 5 (21:32):
A lot of lights to a lot of lights. They

Yeah, loving it.
Speaker 5 (22:02):
So you did you have any problems connecting with us
this morning on Facebook Live?
Speaker 2 (22:08):
No, first, it was busy a little bit, and I'm
surprised I get right straight on through.
Speaker 7 (22:14):
Okay, no problem, no problem at all. So you all

All right, Katrina to bed?
Speaker 6 (22:22):
All right, Katrina go back to bed, and she woke
up just to be on the Lincoln were show over

Speaker 5 (22:28):
Is all right, Katrina?
Speaker 7 (22:32):
Thanks for checking in, alright, Sa sarenada and.
Speaker 6 (22:37):
I see my own god whatever Ternce told me to say,
and uh open sessame.
Speaker 5 (22:43):
Okay, all right, thanks for your call.
Speaker 14 (22:48):
Oh yah ya, it just means good night, that's all, okay.
Speaker 5 (22:52):
Oh yes to me? All right, you should have jumped
in there and spoke some Japanese with her. You're doing
a great job, mister, where you don't need me? Yes?
All right?
Speaker 6 (23:04):
Five one three, seven, four nine, twelve thirty. We're broadcasting
live here. We're looking for toys. Bring them down here.
And when you come down. If you own a business, uh,
here's a chance for you to shout your business out.
If you've got an event coming up, here's a chance
for you to push your event if you whatever, I mean,
(23:26):
come on out and bring those toys in here. And
the microphone is yours. Yes, the microphone is yours. Just
for a few minutes, now, not for an hour, but yes, but.
Speaker 5 (23:40):
Yes, but yeah.
Speaker 6 (23:41):
We'll get you in here and feel free to do so.
Five one three, seven four nine, twelve thirty. Donald Trump
is the biggest liar that's ever held the office of
President of the United States.
Speaker 5 (23:57):
I'm telling you, since unbelievable. All right, let's go to Uh, Brent, Brent,
how are you?
Speaker 2 (24:05):
I'm fine, Uncle Lincoln and yourself.
Speaker 5 (24:07):
I'm hanging in there, Brent. What's up?
Speaker 8 (24:09):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (24:10):
Nothing must yeah, cau Trinda should have fun over there,
especially if he's in Tokyo. She can go to Rapungi,
which I'm sure she'll get tired of the eating Japanese
style food where she can get some American food like
Tony Roma's and r Rock Cafe and some everything else.
Speaker 5 (24:25):
Yeah, yeah, okay, okay, well yeah, so she.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
Should have fun there. But yeah, but you were talking
about there was some report about some dude with child porn.
Speaker 5 (24:33):
Yes, so was he?
Speaker 2 (24:35):
Was he trans or gay?
Speaker 5 (24:37):
No, he's a male. He looks male and uh yes,
he's white, yep. And he was an employee over christ Hospital.
He was an employee at Christ's Hospital.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
Yeah, and that's what they put the boogeyman out there
of trans and queer people, which if you go through
and look at everything, mainly they are white males and
they are Republicans. So it's so crazy. But it's all
about the distraction, just like when they say, you know,
most people get arrested for stealing at stores are black, well,
(25:14):
because then the white folks are doing more to stealing,
but they don't have all the cameras and getting poles
and everything like that. Right, But now now these cameras
and AI are catching these jokers. Because I saw this
one white woman get arrested. She had been in the
store several times and they said, yeah, you didn't swipe
those items, so we got rested. And she's sitting there looking.
Speaker 6 (25:32):
Hun right, right, right right, and they have cameras on
those right there. When you swipe, they've got a camera
right there too. I don't know if people really realize that.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
Yeah, and they locked up a lot of times. If
you if you swipe it and you don't get it's
something's obscured, it will lock that terminal and then they'll
have to come unlock it. And you know, I'm there
one time and the lady looked there and like, oh,
what the world happened here? But it was all good,
you know, it just just the way I had my
arm and everything, so it was all good. But lastly,
(26:08):
I just want to hear real quick, Jasmine Crockett running
for the Texas Senate and ay, she's striking while the
iron is hot. Oh yeah, she's gonna have a tough
time on the Democratic side against James Tallerico who was
in the Texas House and he's very good. But hopefully
(26:28):
whoever wins out of that, they need to consolidate their
support from there. And it's not that the Democrats. I first,
the people say, oh, the Democrats are fractured, and the
Republicans got John Corning Paxton, who was the state attorney
general in Wesley Hunt, which is one of Trump's blacks.
That they're all running, so they're not unified on who
(26:49):
really should be running there. So you know, people didn't
think Obama will win until he ran, and he wound
up beating out Hillary. And people didn't even think Trump
would win. Republic's laughed at him, and that joker got
two terms in there, so you never know. You will
miss every ball you don't swing yet use a baseball analogy,
so hey, go for it and she'll do great.
Speaker 8 (27:13):
She'll do great.
Speaker 5 (27:14):
That sounds good, let's hope.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
So yeah, oh yeah, and stop packing all the course
for your live remost of your crown roll bad. You
need to have a night.
Speaker 8 (27:24):
But all the time.
Speaker 6 (27:26):
Now I gotta I actually I got to buy a
whole new little setup for the Facebook stuff.
Speaker 5 (27:32):
But uh, and I'm gonna do that soon.
Speaker 6 (27:35):

where they sell a lot of electronic stuff.
Speaker 5 (27:40):
So he told me what I needed to get, So
I guess I'll have to go ahead and get that,
all right, Brent.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
All right, we're glad you're on. You know, we give
you a hard time, but we're glad you're on. And

a whole lot of empty seats there. So is that
gonna make them pay? Play lousy or better?
Speaker 5 (28:57):
Because I don't think so. I don't know.
Speaker 6 (29:01):
I don't know, I'll freeze to death by the time
I leave the station garage and get to the pay corps.
If the temperature is going to be eighteen degrees, geese,
it'll be that's probably around three o'clock it'll be eighteen degrees, but.
Speaker 5 (29:19):
Before then it'll probably be twelve or thirteen.
Speaker 6 (29:24):
I think the temperature is going down Sunday morning around
nine degrees or something. Oh boy, So I'm a big
Bengal fan. But they're not winning and I'm not freezing. Yes,
what can you say? What can you say?
Speaker 5 (29:44):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (29:45):
And if I go to the game, I'm not coming
out in the see I just stay in the clubhouse,
you know, stay in the club section the whole time.
Speaker 5 (29:52):
But if I'm gonna do that, I might as well
stay home, you know.
Speaker 6 (29:55):
Shoot, no, they might not see Lincoln Way at the

I couldn't believe those Barbie dolls and all those black
I didn't know they had that many black Barbie dolls
out there with all that.
Speaker 6 (37:07):
I never knew they had an ice skating black Barbie doll.
I never knew that. I don't even know if Maya
knew that. I have to ask Maya, does she know that?
Speaker 19 (37:15):
She knows?
Speaker 6 (37:15):
She's got every Barbie doll that's ever been made, and

We're gonna turn all these toys over to the Cincinnati
Rickoryation Commission, and then they're gonna have a big extravaganza
and give out these.
Speaker 5 (38:06):
Toys to the kids in the neighborhood.
Speaker 6 (38:08):
And from all over the city. Kids will come and

And we're inviting you to come on down today. And
(38:30):
if you have a business and you want to shout
a business out.
Speaker 5 (38:33):
We'll let you do that.
Speaker 6 (38:34):
Just bring some toys in and you'll be good to
go on the Lincoln Wear Show. Yes, all right, let's
go back to the phones. Looks like Bill is up.
Speaker 5 (38:42):
Bill? How are you? Bill? What does Bill doing? You're cooking?
Speaker 16 (38:48):
Bill?
Speaker 5 (38:52):

Speaker 3 (38:55):
What?
Speaker 5 (38:57):

There sounds like it. Let's go to Stepan, step Fan,
how are you?
Speaker 20 (39:11):
What's going on, brother Lincoln?
Speaker 8 (39:13):
How you're doing?
Speaker 5 (39:13):
I'm hanging in there, brother Stepan? What's up?
Speaker 21 (39:16):
Man?
Speaker 12 (39:16):
Man?
Speaker 8 (39:16):
What's up?
Speaker 20 (39:17):
We need some singers dropping off singor coast and scarf day,
scarf Day. Well, we're gonna do that and glove for
our singers. How can we do that? We'll figure it
out and that'd be a nice thing to do for
all our singers at the nursing homes. We drop our
gloves socks. Uh, you know the assessions they need all right,
And Lincoln, I was down at the UH.
Speaker 8 (39:36):
I was at UH.
Speaker 20 (39:38):
Down at the city Hall at the budget meeting. Lincoln Romac, Romac, Uh.
We need to make sure that she get the opportunities
to open up her building down there. Not just Romac,
why not the West End Sport, Grill Sport and Grill Bar.
They need funds too.
Speaker 5 (39:57):
They've been trying to open that place up forever.
Speaker 20 (40:00):
They had to be in their budget and they put
it on hold. They always do that. They carryovers from
the budget and they always do that. They did me
like that years ago, put it on hold and I
never see the funds. So they need their funds to
open up that. Why say that, Lincoln. They need opportunities
for blacks. Developers in the west End were talking about
(40:21):
the ones got property like like Sean Law's, mister Marvin
smith Way, mister Ali Trolley's, Otis Stevens, all them guys
the opportunity to be developers in their own community.
Speaker 8 (40:34):
Lincoln.
Speaker 20 (40:35):
It starts off with Romac, the West End baron Grill
and go on and go on, Lincoln, because they got
to help the west End community Lincoln, you know what
I mean, instead of us. If they think I'm bashing them,
Nah nah na na, let's stop all that. Let's come together. Man.
It gotta have the Lincoln. I love your Lincoln.
Speaker 8 (40:56):
And guess what.
Speaker 20 (40:59):
You're my This ain't gonna take off my prayer list link.
And you stuck on their brother because you're a good
brother man. So I lucky to nothing you can do
about it.
Speaker 5 (41:06):
All right, thanks for your God. All right, be alright,
he's gonna do it. All right. We got a young

your name. I'm Victor Phillips, Victor Phillips. All right, well,
thank you, Fastor Victory Pastor Victor Phillips. Okay, thank you sir.
We appreciate it. Got some bikes here and some other toys.
Speaker 19 (41:24):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (41:25):
What church? Serve church? Pastor the Serve Church in north Side,
The Serve Church in north Side. All right, what street
is that on?
Speaker 12 (41:32):
It's on thirteen sixty four Spring Line, right behind Spring
Grove Cemetery.
Speaker 5 (41:37):
All right, there you go. Oh, brother Foule's got something
to add. He's got something to add here.
Speaker 9 (41:42):
Do you know who prayed for mayor a pure ball
when he was running for mayor. The first event we
had who prayed for him.
Speaker 12 (41:49):
His mother what was the sister's name, mother Phillips, Sylvia Phillips.
Speaker 9 (41:53):
A Corinthian Baptist, pray for Aftab and say he's gonna
ring win and make sure y'all I'm to serve people
saying he won.
Speaker 6 (42:02):
All right, Well, we appreciate these kids and need all
the you know, everybody wants to wake up happy.
Speaker 5 (42:06):
On Christmas morning. It's gonna be so many. Even with
all the toys we get, it'll be some kids that
wake up with nothing under the tree, not even a tree.
And that's so true.
Speaker 12 (42:15):
I'm doing a toy drive myself for our church. And
so I went shopping for the church, and I said,
when I heard what you were doing, I said, well
let me split it up. I gave some to the
church and gave some to the buzz. So we're a community.
Let's do it all together.
Speaker 14 (42:27):
Thank you.
Speaker 5 (42:28):
And from the serve Baptist Church is a Baptist church,
serve church. It's a search cherch. No Baptist just serve church.
Speaker 12 (42:35):
But it's also my business as true providers, true Providers.
We provide services for those with developmental disabilities. So we
go into their home, taking them out of the community,
which was a passion from my brother had down syndrome
and I lost them to a house fire, and so
I started the company in honor of James and we've
been helping those with develop no disabilities for a little
bit over five years.
Speaker 16 (42:54):
Now.
Speaker 5 (42:55):
All right, is there a phone number people can call
if they need information on you. You can call five
four nine two two four one nine.
Speaker 12 (43:03):
That's five one three four nine two two four one nine.
Speaker 5 (43:06):
True Providers.
Speaker 12 (43:07):
If you have a loved one that needs services with
developmental disabilities, we're here to help, all right, True for Providers.
Speaker 5 (43:13):
Thank you for stopping by. We appreciate it. And thanks
for the toys. Thanks for the bikes. God bless you.
Thank you, Thank you, Lincoln, thank you. All Right, there
you go. It's just that simple folks. Bring some toys
in and we'll let you give your business, your church
or whatever.
Speaker 6 (43:26):
A shout out, Yes, there you go. We got some
bikes in here, man, I tell you, some bikes. Some
kids gonna wake up with some bikes. Nowadays, I see
more and more people riding bikes.
Speaker 5 (43:38):
Those uh.
Speaker 2 (43:39):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (43:39):
They they're renting bikes.
Speaker 6 (43:40):
They want to ride them so bad now they rent
the bikes.
Speaker 5 (43:44):
But anyway, there you go.
Speaker 6 (43:45):
We got a break for news and then we'll come
back link and wear with you twelve thirty the Buzz.
It's Wednesday, and we're broadcasting live downstairs from the studio
in the Centennial one Plaza, seven oh five Central Avenue.
Come on down, bring those toys in. If you got
a business, we'll give your business a shout out. You
(44:07):
got an organization, we'll shout out your organization.
Speaker 5 (44:11):
If you got a side hustle, we'll shout out your
side hustle. Yes, we'll shout it all out for you today.
Just bring some toys in for these kids and like it.
We've got two.
Speaker 6 (44:23):
Uh we had two events where we were stuffing the bus.
We got one more this coming Saturday. Where's at Westchester
Westchester Walmart. Yes, so uh, if you don't make it
down here today, make sure you make it out there
down one for show will be there and uh, we'll
take your toys in.
Speaker 5 (44:42):
But I'll tell you what.
Speaker 6 (44:43):
Bring them down here now you won't get a shout
out out there like you will hear you get a
little quick shout out and in it's back to music.
Speaker 20 (44:51):
Here.
Speaker 5 (44:52):
We can let you talk about your business for almost
as long as you want, but as long as I'll
let you that bring those toys down here.
Speaker 6 (45:02):
As for a worthy because we don't want any kid
waking up on Christmas morning with nothing there.
Speaker 5 (45:08):
Yes, we want at least one or two gifts for
the kid to wake up. When you were a kid,
you woke up, you ran to that tree, you wanted
those gifts under that tree.
Speaker 6 (45:18):
These kids are the same way, then. No, today's youth
are no different from yesterday's.
Speaker 5 (45:22):
No, they're not. So there you go, Well, in a way,
they are, but in their minds they're not. I don't
think so. They just do things differently than what we did.
That's that's it right there.
Speaker 6 (45:34):
All right, let's move along five, one, three, seven, four, nine,
twelve thirty, and let's go to Pharaoh.
Speaker 5 (45:41):
Pharaoh, how you doing.
Speaker 8 (45:43):
It's I'm all right, Lincoln, Lincoln. I want to speak
about a few things if you allowed me to.
Speaker 5 (45:50):
Yes.
Speaker 8 (45:51):
One thing I want to reiterate is what I told
you before, is what I said about when you talked
about the children. Well, these people celebrated Christmas when they
we're young, and now they don't want these kids today
to celebrate Christmas. And as I said before, let me
reiterate it in when you and I were kids, we
(46:15):
celebrated Christmas to the utmost. Yeah, we had fun, we
had always bite whatever, we enjoyed ourselves at Christmas time, candy.
But Lincoln, that literature wasn't out there back when me
and you were children, so we celebrated it. But now
so much literature is out there about the truth about Christmas,
(46:39):
and it's relevant to African people. See so now see
my children couldn't I mean, my parents couldn't pass that
on to me. But it wasn't out there. But now
the parents can read and study and pass that literature
on to their children that knowledge. See so it's not
about as you say, well, they celebrated any but down
(47:02):
they don't want their kids to celebrate it. No, the
literature is out there. Leading the other thing, I was
watching TV Lincoln yesterday and I saw the commercial come
down to the Museum Center. See all this stuff about Jews,
See what they experience, those they war and all like
(47:24):
these years, how they were treated. Do you think do
you think they'll have any literature down there about Jews
and their participation in slave trade. Do you think they'll
show talk about how back in seventeen hundred, the Jewish
population in America was less than two percent Lincoln in
(47:48):
seventeen hundred, but out of that two percent, seventy percent
of them own slaves. The the ones who were here
own slaves and treated us crap. See, they ain't gonna
have that down at the museum center. I want people
to find sympathy for the Jews, but they don't want
(48:09):
to talk about so called Jewish participation in the slave
trade and how they treated us. See the other thing
you mentioned, you talk you pay that tape yesterday about Somali. Yes,
these people said about us. Yes, I understand that. I
understand about what they said is due basically to ignorance.
(48:33):
White folks are all over Somalia, and they did the
Somalia people the same thing they did to people in Hawaii,
talked about black people. I had a cousin who was
stationed in Hawaii and he was in the military. You
know what he told me years ago. He said he
(48:54):
got ready to get busy with a Hawaiian girl and
she told you, let me see your tail.
Speaker 5 (49:01):
Oh wow, I've experienced the same thing, but it was
it was Japanese.
Speaker 8 (49:08):
These are Hawaiians, y'all talking about black people. This is
what white folks told them about us. So why would
would whites be any different in Somalia? Yeah, talking about
black folks. So it's due to the ignorance of fact,
ignorance of black of fact by these Somalian people. They
don't understand or know this white person, this white man.
(49:31):
They don't want to identify and relate to black people
talk I'm black. I'm just that's ignorance. Huh. Ask white
people how they see you. They see you as an
end boy as they where they see you and where
they see me. See, so they don't see a Somalian
person any different. But we are ignorant. See, this is
(49:53):
why whites do what they do. And the last thing, man,
I just want to say, I listened to yesterday. I
heard a brother kirk and what he says. Yes, I
respect brother Kirklin about everything he said. But only thing
I'm saying linkind is that what brother Kirkland said I
(50:15):
had been saying nineteen ninety five since you've been on
the radio. Yes, and what had I been saying I
had talked about that name African American, that you are
not an African American. You are an African in America. Yes,
this is why you experienced the racism because white don't
see you as an American. See they see you as
(50:37):
a legal alien. That's the way they see it. So
that's why you hit the brunt of their racism.
Speaker 5 (50:45):
I gotta go. I appreciate your card. I gotta go.
Speaker 6 (50:49):
All right, Pharaoh, you'll be in when the Black History
Month we'll have your yearly visit Black History Month, pharaouh.
So hold on horses, all right and blackets three month
to be here before you know it?
Speaker 5 (51:04):
Yes, it will all right?
Speaker 6 (51:05):
Five, one, three, seven, four, nine, twelve thirty? Did Bill
come back and back Bill? Did you get a good
nap Bill?
Speaker 1 (51:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 21 (51:15):
I got a Sunday Soul Classic request.
Speaker 3 (51:18):
Oh boy, today's December tenth, right, yes, okay, uh it's
Deanna first three, your oldest ready and the Barcave depth.
Speaker 21 (51:31):
I want to dedicate the Barcave Soul finger to the barcade.
Speaker 5 (51:37):
And what if I throw in a sitting on the
dock of the bay.
Speaker 3 (51:40):
Also, Hey, that'd be great. Oh, that's definitely great.
Speaker 21 (51:45):
I didn't get to see the Barcades last year. I
heard recently that Larry Dodson, the leads Finger the barcad
has returned to the group, so I can't wait to
see them again. All right, man, and is such news?
Speaker 2 (52:01):
But hey, you know what you're right about Trump lying
and carrying on.
Speaker 3 (52:06):
He just lies and lies. Yes, you know, you can't
help yourself.
Speaker 6 (52:11):
And he knows he's lying, but he thinks people they
don't care. They believe whatever he says.
Speaker 3 (52:17):
Yeah, but you know what if kids are quiet, Twinn
is quiet, too, Sweet is quiet.
Speaker 5 (52:24):
Win will be quiet for another two weeks. He'll be
quiet for another two weeks.
Speaker 3 (52:29):
Sean is quiets down here today.
Speaker 5 (52:33):
I might let him say hi to you folks if
he brings some toys down.
Speaker 3 (52:37):
Curtis Wells is quiet, and Blade is quiet, you know,
always is quiet, you know. So hey, Darrence, and my
request for you, man is definitely something from s w B.
Speaker 20 (52:55):
Right here, All right, all right, got you?
Speaker 2 (53:01):
All right, man, y'all.
Speaker 8 (53:02):
Keep that music.
Speaker 3 (53:03):
Coppence one, two, three, four, five, six seven, stamp By.
Speaker 5 (53:08):
He's crazy, Bill's losing his mind. Let's take a break.
Speaker 6 (53:12):
We'll come back five to one, three, seven, four nine, one, two,
three zero, twelve thirty the buzz stairs from the Radio
one studios. We're in the lobby seven oh five Central Avenue,
right behind Music Hall, and if you bring some toys
in here, we'll let you give you a business a
shout out, or your organization a shout out, or your
(53:35):
little side hustle a shout out.
Speaker 5 (53:37):
Did you mean city Hall? What did I say? You
said you're behind music Hall? Did I say music Hall?
Speaker 8 (53:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (53:42):
Okay, I saw Dan and I thought about music. I
think okay, city Hall. Yes, we're right behind city Hall.
And this is where were located.
Speaker 6 (53:53):
In case you're trying to find all right in the
studio with me, none other than Kathy Lewis, Kathy, how
you doing? I'm great, Lincoln, how are you? I'm hanging
in there, hanging in there. It's that Hallibration time again.
We just heard the commercial run tell us about this
year is hallibration.
Speaker 13 (54:09):
We are so excited. This is the thirteenth year and
we have so many wonderful things. I was just talking
with the other vendors here and we have about twenty
percent of our new people that are coming in, our
first timers, and then we have about fifty percent of
our vendors that have only been there two years, so
we have a lot of new people coming in.
Speaker 5 (54:29):
And we're so excited.
Speaker 13 (54:30):
But we also have our veterans like our Black and
Bossi and our final Cours Gramy that are gonna also
be in the show. So we're excited, all right, and
give us the times and the location and the parking
situation and everything like that. Yeah, we will be there
this Friday from December twelfth from four to eight pm,
and then we'll be there back on Saturday from ten
(54:52):
am to four pm. And the important thing is on
Saturday is we also have all of the things for
our youth. So we'll have our Santa there at with
free toys and others treats and giveaways for the youth.
And we also have some workshops for the youth that
are going to be going on about how you handle
your money. We have a scouting workshop and the scouts
are gonna come and do the Color Guard Professional at
(55:14):
ten am on Saturday. So we have wonderful music, live entertainment,
you can't beat it. We have Lavina Campbell on Friday
night and we have Dimples coming on Friday night, and
then on Saturday we have a lot of gospel groups
as well as jazz ed Sax Thomas and others, and
a special presentation by omegasci Fi that's gonna be also
(55:36):
on that Saturday afternoon. So we've just got a lot
of new things this year, jazzing it up. We want
people to come out and have a good time. Parking wise,
we will also have our shuttle going from the old
Mercy Health lot, So if the parking lot fills up,
which it usually does, you can just go to Mercy
Health and you can take the shuttle.
Speaker 5 (55:53):
It'll just bring you right around to the church. All right,
sounds good to me.
Speaker 6 (55:57):
Sound like you got a lot of entertainment this year too.
All right, and some of the vendors. Let's get mister
Black and Bossy in here.
Speaker 5 (56:04):
And uh we'll get him in here and let him
slide on in and we go and uh, let's get
your name. What's your name again?
Speaker 22 (56:12):
I'm Kelvin Washington, owner Black and BOSSI.
Speaker 6 (56:16):
All right, and uh old Lindsey Bowler's brother, younger brother,
and he's always talking about Black and BOSSI and your mother.
Speaker 14 (56:23):
That's right, that's right.
Speaker 22 (56:24):
We've been around a long time, forty plus years, and
Linds has been a part of it. He's always had
Black and Bossy in his heart.
Speaker 5 (56:31):
Uh huh. What are some of the products you have
up there this weekend?
Speaker 22 (56:35):
Yeah, we actually make three different type of products, leaving conditioners,
and our most popular is a Black and Bossi scoufold
which my mother originally made and his name.
Speaker 5 (56:45):
They call this the o G since we like old
school and been back, been back a long time.
Speaker 22 (56:49):
But but leavi in conditioners, moisturizers, just a great line
of products.
Speaker 5 (56:55):
We've been doing for forty years. It sounds good to me.
And you'll be up there both Friday.
Speaker 22 (56:59):
And absolutely we there Friday night and Saturday night. And
once again, it's just such a great opportunity. I've been
with Kathy for thirteen years now, since day one Holibration
and for a small business that we was coming and
this was really a nice event to promote ourselves and
promote black businesses, especially during the holiday.
Speaker 5 (57:19):
So it's a great event, all right.
Speaker 6 (57:21):
It sounds like it's going to be a great event,
a lot of entertainment, a lot of vendors there with
great products, and we appreciate you and once again, we'll
see you Friday and Saturday.
Speaker 22 (57:31):
Absolutely look forward to seeing everyone with all.
Speaker 6 (57:33):
That good black and bossy products. All right, let's who's
next here? Come on, who's next? Who wants to be next?
Speaker 23 (57:38):
Here?
Speaker 6 (57:39):
We got some oh man, Like I said, we have
a lot of vendors up there. And by the way,
bring those toys on down here. You want to give
you a business or your organization a shout out?
Speaker 10 (57:48):
Do that?
Speaker 5 (57:48):
All right? What's your name? Luther Bond with unbeatable, unbeatable
Luthor Bond. So what do you have? You got some
jewelry here?
Speaker 17 (57:56):
Yes, sir, this is my new passion, my jewelry, beatable
line of jewelry, unique stuff that you won't see every day,
which I understand. Women like that when they can't find
they don't.
Speaker 5 (58:09):
Want to go out and somebody else has got the
same thing they have on They don't like that exactly.
Speaker 17 (58:13):
And I'm still learning from women every day about my jewelry.
So those are my muses. But this is what I
do now, this is my passion, and I'm really excited
about being with Halibration again. This has been my third
year and I'm looking forward to it. Kathy is doing
really well, I'm excited about working with her again and
we look to have a great time.
Speaker 5 (58:32):
Right And uh so you say you go around, what
do you get your jewelry?
Speaker 17 (58:37):
I actually handmake everything.
Speaker 5 (58:39):
You see here, You hand make everything, okay, man.
Speaker 17 (58:43):
Every everything? Like I said, Like I said, this is
my passion. Now I lock myself in my dungeon and
I turn my music on. Sometimes I listen to you,
and I uh and I.
Speaker 5 (58:53):
Might mess up some stuff. You listen to me, you
get mad, You'll be wanting to but yes, but this
is what I do.
Speaker 17 (58:59):
And this year I'm trying to make a really assertive
effort to get the men in. Women always buy jewelry.
And you sit here, now, this is a combination set here,
one for the ladies and one for the men. And
I wear one every day. So it's stainless steel jewelry.
It endures time, it won't rust or corrode, and it's
very stylish, goes with anything, and I think you'll find
(59:20):
it very unique.
Speaker 5 (59:22):
All right, sounds good to me. Sounds good to me.
It looks great, looks great, folks.
Speaker 6 (59:26):
If you want one of a kind item, you got
to come to Halley Gration this weekend and thank you
look for Luther Bond.
Speaker 5 (59:33):
He'll be there with his jewelry.
Speaker 6 (59:34):
Yes, sir, unbeatable, unbeatable, Thank you for stopping by.
Speaker 5 (59:39):
Thank you Lincoln.
Speaker 6 (59:39):
All right, and our final vendor we got here. Looks
like she's got some food, so come on over here. Yes,
looks like some food here.
Speaker 5 (59:49):
What's your name?
Speaker 16 (59:50):
Lynn?
Speaker 11 (59:50):
I am with Final Course Gourmet Desserts and we specialize
in banana putting in cheesecake.
Speaker 5 (59:55):
As you know now, I remember you.
Speaker 11 (59:58):
My husband told me to tell you. He was like
here at Stornhill to let me tell you that strawberry
banana pudding was your favorite here. He said, Now, if
you drop it this time, it's on you.
Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:00:07):
I had one and up I was talking to somebody
and knocked it off the table. I couldn't believe I'm
putting it over here, so I won't knock it off
the table.
Speaker 5 (01:00:14):
Uh, but hey, this is strawberry and banana pudding. Yes, yes,
we have.
Speaker 11 (01:00:19):
We specialize in assorted flavors of banana pudding in cheesecake.
And we've been with Kathe for about the past four
or five years now. We've enjoyed halibration and we have
all of our different flavors. This year, we're featuring our
new flavor. This is red Velvet bisco Off Banana pudding,
and it has been the talk. It has been just
(01:00:40):
blew up on our social media page.
Speaker 5 (01:00:41):
So we're maybe I might want to change out the
banana pudding for the uh yeah, velvet cake. How about that?
I think I've tried to.
Speaker 11 (01:00:50):
It's really it's really been going crazy on social media.
But yeah, we are locally. We're located in both Jungle
Gym's location. We're also in two grocery stores in Dayton,
gem City Market and Gettysburg Grocery Store. We're in the
New Country Fresh Country marketplace in Avondale. We're also in
(01:01:11):
Southern Grace Eats restaurants, and we're in Hooks and Avondale
and Hooks in Westchester. So we're expanding into different locations.
And then of course we do dinners on Sundays with
Julia's at a Word of Deliverance every Sunday.
Speaker 5 (01:01:23):
I tell you, guys are busy, busy, we are.
Speaker 11 (01:01:26):
Yes, we are, but we're looking forward to Halebration. We've
already had some customers that have placed their orders ahead
of time and they're looking forward to coming down there.
Speaker 5 (01:01:34):
All right, sounds good to me.
Speaker 6 (01:01:36):
Hollybration takes places coming Friday and Saturday at the New Vision.
Speaker 5 (01:01:41):
Wait a minute, I know I always get the name
of this church.
Speaker 19 (01:01:43):
What is it?
Speaker 5 (01:01:46):
New Vision United Methodist Church? Right there on Rating Road,
right across from Sugar and Spies. If you know where
Sugar and Spie is located, it's right across the street.
Make sure you check it out.
Speaker 6 (01:01:55):
Plenty of entertainment, lots of vendors, lots of food and
everything going on this weekend.
Speaker 16 (01:02:01):
And this year.
Speaker 11 (01:02:01):
Is something that she added new was the taste. It
is going to be the taste of Calibration. So all
of the food vendors will be upstairs and you can
come and taste our desserts and then judge them. They
will have judges and they'll see which one wins. So
if you want to take something this good Benata pudding,
you gotta get up there and come and vote for
a final core score mate desserts.
Speaker 5 (01:02:19):
All right, sounds good to me. Thank you all for
stopping by. We appreciate it. All right, Let's take a
break and then we'll come back.
Speaker 6 (01:02:26):
The Lincoln Wear Show twelve thirty The Buzz and Does
it get any better than the late the Great otis Redding.
Then I'm dreaming of a white Christmas. Don't forget speaking
of those songs.
Speaker 5 (01:02:37):
You listen to the Sunday Soul Classics. Sunday three to seven.
We'll have all of your favorite old Christmas songs from
back in the day. You name it, we'll have it
on three to seven, on one hundred point three.
Speaker 6 (01:02:51):
Yes, all right, let's go to the Dukester and find
out what's cooking today on Senior Citizen Day.
Speaker 5 (01:02:58):
What's cooking?
Speaker 24 (01:02:58):
Good morning to you, dad, and happy Senior Citizen Day
bus listeners. It's Wednesday, December tenth, folks. Can you believe
that Christmas is only fifteen days away? That's whom the
first thing you know, Lincoln will be celebrating the New Years.
But the most important thing to remember, folks is that
if you've got your hell, you've got everything you need.
Speaker 3 (01:03:20):

Speaker 24 (01:03:20):
Just as a reminders that the Chocolate Affairs jumped off Saturday,
December twentth at the Willow Event Center and you can
get your discount tickets right here at the Dukester. I've
said it once, I'll say it again. This is one
party you don't want to miss now Lincoln. On the
Dukester's menu today is our tender meat loaf with garlic,
mashed potatoes and gravy and fried corn. Or come on
(01:03:42):
in for the best baby beef flipping onions on the
planet with rice and gravy, collar greens and corn bread.
Also on our menu today is our fake poor chops
with corn bread dressed in gravy and smother's cabbage. But
my pick for today Lincoln is our tender barbecue, red tips,
bake things potato South. Have a blessed day, everybody. Well,
(01:04:04):
how let you lay to Lincoln?
Speaker 5 (01:04:05):
All right?
Speaker 6 (01:04:05):
That's the Dukester right there in the Summit Plaza on
Ready Road, and he's got those tickets to the Chocolate
the Fair. Speaking of the Chocolate the Fair, Malcolm is here.
But first we'll go, Uh, let's go to Uncle Uncle Ridge.
Speaker 5 (01:04:18):
He dropped off. Oh, he dropped off.
Speaker 6 (01:04:20):
Okay, Oh, those first time callers they're not patient at all.
They don't hang around long. They gotta get used to
what's going on. Anyway, we've been talking about the Chocolate
the Fair.
Speaker 5 (01:04:33):
Malcolm, the Dukester has your tickets up there, and uh,
people can go up there to get those tickets to
the Chocolate the Fair.
Speaker 19 (01:04:40):
Yes they can. And Lincoln, you know, first of all,
I'm too close. Well I guess you better hold on.
But uh, but but but you know, I wanted to
say thank you for over to the Dukester Jesse, that's
my man.
Speaker 5 (01:04:55):
But also Lincoln always say this.
Speaker 19 (01:04:57):
You know, I'm the facing voice of upscale, but the
people around me that make it happen. Miss Dodie and
Escapades out in Springdale, they do amazing things.
Speaker 5 (01:05:06):
The ladies go down and get their manicures and pedicure.
This amazing.
Speaker 19 (01:05:10):
Then my team Charcolie Bush and swedieh in China and Tasha.
Speaker 5 (01:05:14):
I mean, it's the whole nine. So I gotta let
you know that.
Speaker 19 (01:05:17):
But but that said, the Chocolate Fairs next Saturday, December twentieth,
from eight eight eight pm to midnight.
Speaker 5 (01:05:24):
DJ Kevy keV is gonna be doing it and we're
gonna make it happen. So we got tickets of everybody's records.
The Dukes are and Escapades all right, sounds good to me.
It's always a great event. And uh, you're gonna have that.
Speaker 6 (01:05:35):
I remember when you had your first chocolate affair. We
had the best dressed outfit. Man, it was crazy.
Speaker 19 (01:05:43):
It was you know, it was so crazy, you know,
and Lincoln, it was so crazy. Somebody called and said, well,
Malcolm didn't pay him and you gave him the money.
Speaker 6 (01:05:49):
Yeah, they said he didn't pay those beat the people
that won. I'm like, yes, he did, because he gave
me the money to give it to him, and I
just gave.
Speaker 15 (01:05:56):
It to him.
Speaker 5 (01:05:57):
So I guess they didn't see you paying them. They
didn't see me when I gave it. They were looking
at you and they didn't see you pay them, and
that's why they said that. I guess that's what it was.
Speaker 19 (01:06:09):
But you know, I mean, but Lincoln, you got to
think about this upscale. Event's been around since March of
two thousand and two. That was our first Friday to
ESTI And I have to tell you, brother, I appreciate
you because you've been with me every step of the way.
Speaker 5 (01:06:19):
Man prop Old sty Man with that place that was
a jumping place, the esty, and you know that's.
Speaker 19 (01:06:25):
What the whole thing, the whole thirty five and over
thing came. But Lincoln, I'm sixty eight years sold. Everybody
supports a sixty and up and one other thing real fast.
I know, you gotta go back to your callers.
Speaker 5 (01:06:36):
We have a saying.
Speaker 19 (01:06:37):
It's a joke of the series. We say we're too
old for the club, but we're too young for the
rock and cheer. You go, you know, and so when
people come, they say they people always tell me I
ran to a guy who was in the military without
somebody we used to go to school with.
Speaker 5 (01:06:50):
They you don't see them because you're not gonna see
us in the club. The club days are pretty much over.
I might pop in every now and then just to
pop in, but me and saying I'm going out to
the club tonight. No, it's got to be a party
like the Chocolate Affair or something like that, and then
I'm there, Yes, and Lincoln.
Speaker 19 (01:07:08):
You know again, I'm always in appreciative mode because I
got to thank everybody. I always trying to write my
list down. Even Ronnie in sales up here at the bus.
I mean, he take care of me. I mean, you know,
when I'm buying my advertising, I mean he'll meet me.
I'll take and give him the check. I mean, you
guys have been amazing for me, So I mean I
appreciate you, and I'm always gonna support the bus, all.
Speaker 5 (01:07:29):
Right, Malcolm, you've been a supporter of the bus for
a long time.
Speaker 6 (01:07:32):
And good luck on the chocolate affair that's coming up
one week from Saturday. Yes, at the Willow at the Willow, Yes,
it's all right, all right, man, that's Malcolm Timmins until Atlantis,
I said, hi.
Speaker 5 (01:07:48):

all right, all right, five, one, three, seven, four.
Speaker 6 (01:08:02):
Nine, twelve thirty Lincoln were with you till one o'clock
this afternoon as we broadcast live right here. We're at
the station, but we're not in the studio. We're downstairs
in the lobby. Bring those toys in. We need toys.
We need more toys.
Speaker 5 (01:08:18):
And if you've got a business, or if you've got
an organization, you've got an event coming up, Malcolm, they.
Speaker 6 (01:08:27):
Bought advertising, so he automatic he even brought toys. He
brought toys to he could. He didn't have to bring toys,
but he did. He was gonna get on anyway because
he's running commercials here and we get him on.
Speaker 5 (01:08:40):
But uh, he brought toys. Anyway. There you go, Malcolm,
I ted, does it get any better than that? Yes?
Speaker 6 (01:08:46):
So, uh bring those toys down and get yourself your
business a shout out, and we'll do it for you
right here on the Lincoln Ware Show.
Speaker 5 (01:08:54):
Let's uh go back to the phones. Looks like Tony
and then mister Cole is coming up, Tony, how are
you all right?
Speaker 20 (01:09:03):
I'm about to tell I'm hanging in there.
Speaker 15 (01:09:07):
Hey, remember I told you about the Columbus officer that
killed the.
Speaker 8 (01:09:10):
Girl drove of phony. Yes, he's not guilty and he
knew that right.
Speaker 5 (01:09:16):
Well, yeah, I saw when I was in Columbus maybe
three weeks ago. I saw something on the news about that.
Speaker 8 (01:09:22):
So yeah, yeah, that was terrible.
Speaker 15 (01:09:27):
And uh, did you ever find out why the other
radio stations get to us on the.
Speaker 8 (01:09:32):
Weekends and weeks?
Speaker 5 (01:09:36):
Say that again?
Speaker 20 (01:09:38):
Did you ever find out why the other radio stations
get to play the custom words on the radio on
the weekends?
Speaker 8 (01:09:45):
Rap music? And we don't.
Speaker 5 (01:09:47):
Nobody could give me any answers for that. I don't
think anybody wanted to answer.
Speaker 15 (01:09:53):
Okay, dig this, now here's the challenge. But you ask
the people that punch clock. Okay, of your white friends,
go to all your little white friends and ask them
one question, Say if you could get rid of three
things in this country or the world, what would it be.
And I'm gonna tell you now, none of the US
is gonna stay racism. I can guarantee that. I've asked
(01:10:17):
my co workers. They told they went up with healthcare
access and all this other stuff, but none of them
they are racists.
Speaker 5 (01:10:24):
Wow. What Maybe they weren't thinking of that, Maybe that
was the last thing on their minds.
Speaker 15 (01:10:30):
But that's always the last thing on the white man.
That's always the last thing. Come on, they smiling your face,
but they're gonna stab you in the back now, gonna
call your white Now you say, you got all these
white people that show for it, and they good white.
If they ain't listening, they're not going to stay racism.
Speaker 20 (01:10:51):
Reallyous, Okay, I prophise you that.
Speaker 16 (01:10:53):
All right, That's all I had So Facebook live y'all at.
Speaker 8 (01:10:58):
Work, do to pain.
Speaker 5 (01:10:59):
Thanks for your appreciate it, okay.
Speaker 6 (01:11:02):
Five one, three, seven, four, nine, twelve thirty Lincoln Wear

(01:11:22):

Speaker 16 (01:11:29):
Mister Combs, how are you blessed extremely over and above abundantly?
Ooh rah?
Speaker 5 (01:11:35):
Simple five, simple five, simple five.
Speaker 2 (01:11:38):
Good morning, mister ware.
Speaker 16 (01:11:39):
If you will allow me to touch some points like
Professor Burke.
Speaker 2 (01:11:44):
I just have a few.
Speaker 21 (01:11:45):
But it's that that's going on, the what.
Speaker 5 (01:11:49):
That's going on?
Speaker 16 (01:11:51):
Lawsuit?
Speaker 5 (01:11:53):
Okay? Which lawsuit? One city?
Speaker 16 (01:11:56):
Yes, yes, yes, okay, that's just the beginning of the
end of the city and county, the beginning of the end,
because I'm going to tie some things together. They've done
a lot of dirt, like brother Elwood, myself, Judge Hunter,
you name it.
Speaker 2 (01:12:18):
It's things are like Trump being a liar. Yes, we
know he's a liar, but those.
Speaker 16 (01:12:27):
Of us who believe in the Lord and love God
know where he's going to end up. You know, I've
heard you ask people, how can you say God did that? Well,
a lot has been exposed since he's been in there,
and what was done to the dark has been revealed
in the light and I wanted to touch that. The
Somalis not wanting to be black people. I remember when
(01:12:51):
we were colored people. Okay, that's what they don't want
to identify with. The all that came after we did
be came black and proud, all the ruthlessness, all of
the perversions, all of the things that they don't want
us have anything to do with. Because I know other
people of color that don't identify with that moniker black,
(01:13:13):
because some of us of a certain age that when
we were children, that's another one called the other one black.
Speaker 2 (01:13:19):
You had a fight on your hands. Yes see, that
was a trick.
Speaker 16 (01:13:24):
You'd have to go back to the sixties, or you
could call it up on YouTube. Brother Malcolm, let us
know that some of our celebrities were they the government
was using our celebrities to corral and control us. And
when the song black and Proud came out, like I say,
those of us who know the Lord and the Bible
and love God, we know he hates pride and the
(01:13:44):
most rotten this thing turns black.
Speaker 2 (01:13:46):
But we've been tricked.
Speaker 19 (01:13:49):
Guess why.
Speaker 16 (01:13:50):
Like the guys who'd be trying to tell you about doueronomy,
you could trace that back to the slave trade, we
would dispersed all.
Speaker 2 (01:13:59):
Over this planet.
Speaker 21 (01:14:01):
That's all it.
Speaker 16 (01:14:02):
But see when they're trying to pull people into religion,
that's where they're wrong, because the Most High is not
on religion. He's on relationship in church as we know it.
He has nothing to do with it. I'm that other
guy that's told you that he's hands off.
Speaker 5 (01:14:16):
Yeah you agree with me? Hands off?
Speaker 3 (01:14:21):
What?
Speaker 2 (01:14:21):
Yeah?
Speaker 16 (01:14:22):
Yeah, only because they have not been doing his will
for centuries. And it's like my big brother in the
punk books, he let it being on a few years ago,
on the Juneteenth. Then get back to the one, the
one who created us, the one who most of us
don't believe in it.
Speaker 8 (01:14:38):
It's just like a Christ.
Speaker 24 (01:14:39):
It's like Christmas.
Speaker 16 (01:14:40):
It was originally christ Mad, but like everything else, that
gets duplicated and and plicated.
Speaker 3 (01:14:46):
That's all it is.
Speaker 16 (01:14:47):
No, he don't have nothing, and I gotta go, and
I gotta go.
Speaker 6 (01:14:50):
I gotta take a break. I appreciate your call, mister Colmbs.
And I'm sure he could go on wherever and ever.
All right, let's take a break and then we'll come back.

Now you're talking about the filters for your heaters. You
check so they can set you up on a rotating
basis and you just come around when it's time and
change their filter.
Speaker 2 (01:15:50):

nothing but seven seven mirrors and eight mervs filters, and uh,
everybody have a safe holiday.
Speaker 6 (01:16:00):
That sounds like pretty good because that way you won't
forget the changes of your filter. And uh, my filter
is kind of in a tough place to put it up. Man,
it wouldn't be bad to have somebody to come. But
you almost as old as I am. You might have
a tough time getting up there.
Speaker 5 (01:16:14):
Hey, I don't have no problem getting to it. That's
what I do. All right, Well, thank you giving me.

All right, good to see you.
Speaker 6 (01:16:29):
All right, there you go, and uh, that's all you
have to do if you want to shout your business.
I never knew about that business. That's a pretty good
business though, you know, thirty five outs. He comes every
three months or every so often.
Speaker 5 (01:16:42):
Whatever. You need to change your filter and you'll be
good to go.
Speaker 6 (01:16:45):
Daniel Bett's the head of the Cincinnati Recreation Commission.
Speaker 4 (01:16:49):
How you doing favorite? That's usually what they tell me
on the head of something. So I guess it is
the CSC. And you're from Chicago too, from Shottown Man
Chicago and south Side to stand up yep.
Speaker 5 (01:17:02):
And they say you can step pretty good to hurt
you could step.
Speaker 14 (01:17:05):
Yeah, I'm getting ready to do some stepping lessons.
Speaker 8 (01:17:07):
Man.
Speaker 14 (01:17:07):
You got to come out.
Speaker 4 (01:17:08):
It's gonna be over at College here Rec Center next
year in twenty twenty six. We're doing stepping classes. Yes, sir,
I always like to.
Speaker 5 (01:17:15):
Every time I see the folks stepping, I always wanted
to do that. I'm like, okay, how do they turn?
And then they have the partner with them and they
do all that stuff. So you given step in lessons. Yeah,
and you got the rhythm. Come on, you know you
got the rhythm, Lincoln, you know you can step. And yes,
we're gonna be doing stepping lesson. Just teach teaching the
basic A count. There's the best basic A count and
(01:17:36):
stepping that anyone who has some level of movement can
get into it.
Speaker 14 (01:17:40):
It's a great exercise too.
Speaker 5 (01:17:42):
Now we appreciate what you're doing. We're collecting toys.
Speaker 6 (01:17:46):
We've been doing it for the past two weeks and
we got one more week to collect and today people
can bring toys down, but we're gonna turn them over
to the Recreation Commission.
Speaker 5 (01:17:56):
And you guys are having a big extravaganza. Tell us
about that.
Speaker 14 (01:17:59):
Yeah, for the last for Fridays, this will be our
third Friday.
Speaker 4 (01:18:02):
This Friday, we've been doing community tables where we're feeding
families who as a result of SNAP benefits being cut
off about a month ago, we've been actually feeding families
unbeknown to a lot of people. So we're feeding families
at Millville, Heartwell, Hersh and Winting rec Centers. We've been
doing that that on a Friday night, family can come
(01:18:23):
in between six pm and eight thirty and get a
good hot meal from locally on black owned restaurants here
in Cincinnati. So we're feeding them not just a hot meal,
but a great meal, a good meal, and then the
striver ganza that you're talking about. We're doing that on
December the twentieth at Madisonville from ten am to eight
pm with the toys. And thank you by the way
(01:18:44):
to the Wiz and the Whiz leadership the radio. I mean,
you guys have been amazing with these, you know, collecting
the toys. We're collecting them. I'm seeing people bring them
in right now as we speak. Right, So this is
a blessing. Every young person should have some level of
toys or clothes gear under the tree for Christmas, and
so we're blessing about five hundred families come on December
(01:19:08):
twentieth at Madisonville between ten am and eight pm.
Speaker 6 (01:19:13):
All right, sounds good to me? Sounds good to me now.
And I also need you to do me a favor.
I got a guy that wants to teach a class
in one of your rec centers. It's like a history class,
and he says it's too much red tape. He said,
they don't want me to because they put up at
a red tape. And I told them, I said, look,
I know Daniel Betts, the head of the recreation. He
(01:19:34):
will sit down and talk with you and work this
thing out, Pharaoh. So are you willing to do that?
Speaker 16 (01:19:39):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (01:19:39):
Absolutely, give him my number in fact, three five two
four zero zero six. If you're listening, Pharaoh, Pharah, if
you listen, give us a call. Five one three three
five two four zero zero six. That's my direct line.
History in our community is extremely important. I'm all about
you know, history and knowing our history. So yeah, give
me a call, all right. So I hope Farah is listening.
Speaker 5 (01:20:00):
The head of the recreation commission says, hey, he'll talk
to you and he wants to work it out.
Speaker 20 (01:20:05):
There you go.
Speaker 5 (01:20:06):
Daniel Betts. Always great seeing you, and I know you'll
be ready for the festival when it comes into town
this summer because all your folks from Chicago.

Y's right.
Speaker 4 (01:20:18):
Thank you Lincoln for your time and again your leadership
and your team's leadership and helping us get toys for
these families extremely important.
Speaker 5 (01:20:26):
Thank you.
Speaker 6 (01:20:26):
Daniel Betts, head of the Cincinnati Recreation Commission, right here
with us today. Thank him for all that they're doing,
the Recreation Commission, trying to get these toys together. And
uh oh man, I can't believe who's in here. He
stopped calling. I heard him on the Sharpening Show the
other day. Come on over here and sit down and
(01:20:47):
talk to the people. Since you haven't been talking to
us lately, I'll let you go.
Speaker 5 (01:20:56):
Well.
Speaker 23 (01:20:57):
I want to say thank you Link for what you're
doing for the children in the community. This radio station
has always been involved and I appreciate it. I just
want to say that God is good. And I got
three more weeks and that was the bet.
Speaker 5 (01:21:15):
You said you'll come back next year. So Ozzi is
always great. Seeing you. Yeah, I heard you yesterday, I
believe on Sharpton Show. I believe it was Yes, sir,
I like to talk.

wait to get back to talking to y'all the community,
because we got a lot of work to do, even
though we've done a lot.
Speaker 6 (01:21:35):
Thank you, Ozzi, always great seeing you. That's Ozzy and uh,
he banned himself. He banned himself from the radio until
next year. A self imposed ban from Ozzy.
Speaker 1 (01:21:48):

Speaker 5 (01:21:48):

WiFi is starting to get weak again.

some toys down. And here's Mike Kelly competing toy drives.
Speaker 5 (01:22:11):
But whatever, Mike Kelly is here, and are you gonna
compound some numbers for us here?
Speaker 26 (01:22:17):
Mike Kelly, you know, the most powerful rule in the universe, Lincoln,
is the rule of seventy two compound interest rule. You
know that, okay? And I even brought you a book
on how it works. But you said, hey, Woodward hadn't
been represented.
Speaker 5 (01:22:34):
Malcolm was here. Well he just got that was earlier today. Yeah,
I said that before Malcolm came in to represent Woodward
and everything.
Speaker 26 (01:22:43):
But now you're here, Mike Kelly is here from Woodward,
all right, And I'm here from Essay Realty and pri
America Financial Services, and you know, it's always a pleasure
when you was just here. He's one of the guys
that helped us with our flips. You know, we're turning
properties over the guys really good, Lincoln. So we're definitely
(01:23:07):
going to get a toy drive together this weekend. And
this is a powerful solution to our problem that we're
having with homelessness with the kids.
Speaker 5 (01:23:18):
And so we're basically going to be.
Speaker 26 (01:23:22):
Having our party this Saturday between six and ten at
the Clifton Recreation Center on Clifton Avenue.
Speaker 5 (01:23:33):
And so we're we're.

Speaker 6 (01:23:42):

next year's walking club.
Speaker 1 (01:23:47):
I guess.
Speaker 5 (01:23:47):

there bringing me this velvet cake, banana pudding and all
this stuff. Oh man, I like this velvet cake banana pudding.
It's pretty good. I forgot what all she said was
in there, but it's good. Yeah, yeah, yeah, they were here.
