Speaker 1 (00:11):
I'm still on a speeding bullet or powerful on a locomotive,
able to believe tall buildings at a single down look,
I'm gonna cry.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
It's a fairy.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Lincoln, Lincoln, Lincoln sobingas Nana Bana BEng gun feed by
lincun Lincoln.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
They they live cat Lincoln is a bad mother. We're
just talking about Lincoln.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
Good morning, Cincinnati. Welcome to twelve thirty w D. We
are the buzz of Cincinnati, your talk station, the Lincoln
Wear Show till one o'clock this afternoon. It is Thursday,
(01:10):
and there's some bad weather on the way. It's coming.
It's on the way. Cold and snow. Yeah, winter weather advisory.
Two rounds of snow of two to four inches each
(01:31):
round possible. We'll be under a winter weather advisory starting
later this evening and snow overnight two to four inches
and kids may get a long weekend. I don't know.
(01:53):
Travel could be difficult the weather. Then on Saturday, we're
supposed to get a couple more round of snow and
then Sunday. Oh Man, temperatures won't make it out of
the teens on Sunday afternoon, which means I'll be watching
the Bengals and the Ravens right at home. Yes, oh yeah,
(02:22):
not going to that one, even if they were in
the playoff hunt. I don't know if I would go.
I really don't. I mean, it gets cold out there
and we're on the east side, so then if there's
any sun, yeah, we never see it, so I don't know.
(02:47):
It's gonna be a cold day. I hope those Bengals
are ready for some cold weather ball and we'll see
what happens. Could they beat the Ravens are spiraling there.
They got some issues going on with the Baltimore Ravens,
some real serious issues. And as our friend years ago,
(03:11):
Mike from Finnytown, I think it was E shoes. He's
always see, we got some E shoes. I wonder whatever
happened to him. He probably passed on. I don't know,
but I haven't heard from him in years, but he
always say, we got some shoes. And yeah, the Ravens
(03:32):
have issues, and so does Donald Trump. He's got is shoes,
serious issues. Let me tell you now, we got the
United States UH seizing tankers off of the Venezuelan coast.
They're seizing tankers now, helicopters, troops are descending down from helicopters,
(03:56):
running up to the bridge, taking over the ship. The
hell am I watching a war movie? Or what the
hell am I watching? And they said, what are you
going to do with the oil? I don't know, keep it,
I don't know what are we going.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
To do with it?
Speaker 3 (04:16):
Oh my goodness. We have become a rogue nation under
Donald Trump, a rogue nation. And Trump always slips and
lets you know what everything is about. It's about getting
people of color out of the country and hoping that
(04:39):
white people come into the country. Listen to this speech yesterday.
Speaker 5 (04:44):
I've also announced a permanent pause on third world migration,
including from hell holes like Afghanistan, Haiti, Somalia and many
other countries.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
I didn't say, no, you did.
Speaker 5 (04:59):
Remember I said.
Speaker 6 (05:00):
To the senators our country was going to hell. And
we had a meeting and they say, why is it
we only take people from whole countries?
Speaker 7 (05:12):
Right?
Speaker 6 (05:13):
Why can't we have some people from Norway?
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Sweet? Just a few.
Speaker 8 (05:18):
Let's have a few from from Denmark, from mine sending
us a few people, send us some nice people, do
you mind? But we always take people from Semia, places
that are a disaster, right, filthy, dirty, discussing.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
Ridden with crime.
Speaker 9 (05:36):
I love this Elan O'More, whatever the hell her name is,
with the little hue, the little turban.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
I love her.
Speaker 9 (05:44):
She comes in there's nothing, but she's always a complay.
She comes from her country where I mean, it's considered
about the worst country in the world. We would to
get her to hell out.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
She married her brother. Was he drunk? He was a
little sound, a little slurring then, you know, he sounded
like he was drunk. But of course, of course he
says he doesn't drink, but he sounded drunk to me. Norway, Sweden,
you know, all the good people, white people now, plain
(06:22):
as day. Why can't we have people from Norway or
Sweden or those other places? Why do we get him
from the s whole countries? It's just hard to say
as whole. You want to say it, you know what
I mean, But we don't want you to have any
more work to do. Darn Howard, But I don't know.
(06:47):
This man is sick. He's a sick man. And he
tells all you black Republicans who voted for me, he
wants your ass out of here too. He does not
like you. You too, sweet twin Ron doulah LG and the
(07:10):
list goes on and on. He does not like you.
Why do you like him? He wants your ads out
of this country too. Oh boy? All right, Oh, congratulations
to the Johnson family. Julie Johnson, Scottie Johnson, a Janis Yeah. Uh,
(07:33):
Xavier Johnson is now a Cincinnati Bengal.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
Their nephew is a Cincinnati Bengal. So congratulations to the
Johnson family right here in Cincinnati. Grew up here, went
to Summit Country Day, and went to Ohio State and
now he is a Cincinnati Bengal and he's a good guy.
(07:59):
Mary and I don't know if they have kids yet
or not, but they got married about a year or
so ago. But hats off to the Johnson family. And
I know you're proud to have your nephew a Cincinnati Bengal.
And I don't think he's gonna act up like Jermaine Burton.
He's not. He's not that. He doesn't come from that
(08:21):
kind of stock. Let me tell you that Jermaine Burton
kid had some issues. He had issues for real. Yes,
he did well. The Fed cut interest rates once again,
and I hope this doesn't get him in trouble following
Donald Trump. He pretty much forced them to cut interest rates.
(08:44):
And we'll see what's gonna happen. We'll see what's gonna happen.
But Trump keeps talking about prices are going down, but
people are not seeing it. You know, you can't believe
this guy. He lies to your face. We've caught him
in lies on this show. We played you one thing
(09:04):
he said and then five minutes later he says he
didn't say it. And you can hear it for yourself.
It wasn't Ai, it was Donald Trump.
Speaker 10 (09:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
I guess they had the Citizens Complaint Board. I don't
know did they meet yesterday or their meeting, but anyway,
last year, Cincinnati police officers tased a paralyzed man four
times after muscle spasms made his legs shake shake. Then
one officer used the R word, long after it became
(09:43):
unacceptable to use that word. Other officers pointed guns at
handcuffed an innocent minor during the description of a robbery.
They just said he was black and he had dreads.
Some short that's what they say. And they thought the
first black man with dreads and they got him. They
(10:04):
also tased the deaf man twice then they handcuffed him
and then he couldn't use sign language to communicate. How
you gonna you handcuff a deaf man and how you
gonna communicate with me? Last year, officers drew guns on
a man asleep in his apartment after his parents said
that he'd threatened to kill himself. Yeah. So there will
(10:31):
be a lot of cases that the Citizens Complaint Authority
will handle.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
And I wonder if.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
Iris Rowley is still a part of that. I don't
know whether her new contract allows her to take part
in that like she used to. I don't know. I
have to ask him that. I never thought about that.
But John Kennedy Junior, I have to get him in
here on the show. John Kennedy is the new director
(11:04):
of the Citizens Complaint Authority, And that's a tough job,
but somebody's got to do it. Tough job. You hear
the citizens complaining, then you hear the police is the
reason the police? They're going to tell you why they
did it. Man, what about the coach at Michigan Man
(11:32):
Sharon Moore. I mean, geez, what a bad day he
had yesterday? He got fired from a five million dollar
a year job. And he doesn't get paid because they
fired him for cause he was apparently having an affair
(11:53):
with a staff member. And I guess she broke up
with him or whatever, and he said, I lost my job.
Now you're leaving me. Oh no, so he went and
broke into her house. I guess. And uh, now he's
in jail. What what the heck? What a bad day? Man?
(12:19):
And everybody, I wonder what she's a white woman. I
don't know. They say those white women will drive you crazy.
Where are the white women at they would drive you crazy? Well,
what's the actor's name? Remember he was choking his girlfriend.
(12:40):
Now he's married to what's her name? Oh man, She
was married to a preacher. She divorced the preacher. She
married the guy he was, you know, super hero, you
know him, Terrence, And uh, he had to go to
court for choking his girlfriend. They had it on video,
(13:00):
and he told her he wanted her to be like
Michelle Obama and all kinds of stuff. He was telling
the white woman this. Anyway, she drove him crazy. He
almost ended up going to jail for her. So those
white women will drive you crazy. Richard Chappel said she
(13:21):
was a white woman. See I figured that. I did
not know. Oh boy, I guess that white monkey will
drive you crazy. I don't know. But he had a
bad day yesterday. Now what's gonna happen? And they probably
wanted to get rid of him anyway because he lost
(13:42):
Ohio State. That's how they played at Ohio State at Michigan.
You know, you lose, you got to get out of here.
They probably wanted to get rid of him anyway. They
pretty much had to keep him after they fired their
other coach for cheating. But he was cheating in a
different way. He was cheating the other team getting picking
up their signals. So and even one of the headlines
(14:07):
I read today said Michigan got rid of one cheater
for another one. That's what the headlines was saying. I forgot.
I think that was in the USA today, maybe one
of those, Uh maybe was Huffington Post one of those.
But man, so Michigan now they've got to a lot
(14:33):
of players are probably gonna leave, and now they got
to try to get new players. They're not gonna be
a great team next year. Ohio State probably will have
their way with Michigan for the next two years. Yeah. Yeah,
he and the guy the coach is married with three kids.
He is married to a white woman. Really, Okay, I
(14:53):
didn't know that. Okay, geez, oh boy, Well maybe it
was a black woman he was married to. I don't know.
I'm not gonna speculate. We'll just wait to see what happened. Yeah,
he's got three kids, I do know that. But man,
(15:15):
three million, I mean five million dollar job gone, and
then you're in jail. I mean, I'm sure he could
have found him another job at a D one, a
D two school. I don't think he would have made
it into a D one school after this. Probably it's
gonna take him a while to build himself back up.
But uh, but it's easier for a white coach to
(15:39):
get back than it is for a black coach to
get back. When you mess up, and you're black, you
hardly ever get back. When you mess up your white guy,
you land on your feet. You you somewhere real soon.
They take care of each other, that's for sure. That's
for sure. So we'll see, let's take a break and
(16:01):
then we'll come back. Five one, three, seven, four, nine,
twelve thirty. It's lincoln Ware twelve thirty the buzz. It's
lincoln Ware on a oh boy, Thursday already, man, the

Speaker 3 (16:26):

Speaker 12 (17:42):
Talk to you tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (17:43):
All right, that's Detective Tiffany Green and yeah, you can
reach her at crime Stoppers three five two thirty forty
night or day. Man, I hate to hear these stories.
A father accused of leaving his one year old child
child at a Springdale waffle house and driving away. Yeah.
(18:09):
His name is uh Parish Green No Parish Greer. Parish Greer,
thirty two years old, charged with the endangering children, according
to the Hamilton County Court Records. Court records claimed Greer,
I get this, went to the waffle house on Springfield
(18:29):
Pike in Springdale a little before ten pm. Gear carried
his one year old child in the restaurant by her
shoulder and left her inside. Yeah. Court documents explained that
(18:50):
he then walked out of the waffle house and left
the parking lot with his child still inside. Oh boy, Now,
even though you mad with the baby, mama, you might
be mad with her, but you don't punish the kid.
You don't do that anyway. He's been charged with the
dangering children. According to Hamilton County court records, the child's mother,
(19:13):
who worked at the waffle house, was called and came
to get the one year old around eleven thirty pm.
She now, I could see if she was at the
waffle house, which still would have been bad. She's working.
How you just gonna bring the kid there and leave?
But she wasn't even at the waffle house and they
had to call her and say, hey, your child is here. Yeah,
(19:37):
this was at eleven thirty when they called her. Greer
appeared in court yesterday, was released on his own recognizance,
and online court records show that he's out of jail now.
But I wouldn't even release him out an O R
bond to do a little one year old kid like that.
You know, you take him into the waffle house. You
(19:59):
tell she probably was I don't know if it was
a little girl or boy, but by bring him in,
holding them by the shoulder like they're like a package
or something, and just dump them in the waffle house.
If I was this kid's parents, I'd be ashamed of him.
I would. I don't care what beef you have with
(20:19):
the with the mother, you don't punish the kid. That's horrible.
That is horrible to do something like that, unbelievable. And
then the workers had to call the mother and say,
your baby's up here, sitting into the one of the booth,
(20:41):
wanted the order of the breakfast scrambler. I don't know, jeez,
that is horrible. That is absolutely hard. I thought, you know,
you think you hear everything, But to bring the kid
up there and just walk out, put him in the
chair and walk out, say anything, show boy, Let's take
(21:06):
a break after that. I want to get your comments.
Five one three, seven four nine, twelve thirty The Lincoln
Were Show, twelve thirty The Buzz this morning. Let's get
to the phones. Five one three, seven four nine twelve thirty.
We'll start off with Jay Boogie, Jay Boogie, how.
Speaker 7 (21:22):
You doing today?
Speaker 14 (21:23):
What's going on late?
Speaker 3 (21:24):
I'm hanging in there, what's on your mind?
Speaker 14 (21:27):
Oh yeah, man, Trump crazy? Man, you got this whole
country crazy, everybody.
Speaker 3 (21:31):
Yeah yeah.
Speaker 14 (21:32):
And then those foods. You hear all those foods clapping
behind them like okay to say that. Yeah, and they
clapping and cheering. Yeah when he was talking that stuff
like that. These people that lost.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
Their mind byes they have.
Speaker 14 (21:44):
I wonder if we're gonna get able to get any
to get anything back, if we do win the House back,
the House, or the Senate or the presidency, is any
of this stuff gonna change and go back? Because I'm
thinking the Supreme Court link. I listened to them, listen
to that that what they got. Those people sound crazy.
They want to get Trump all the authority so far
everybody put his own people in all these departments. Yes,
(22:08):
I was listening to it.
Speaker 7 (22:09):
They sound At first I heard a.
Speaker 14 (22:11):
Chief Justice question it. But then Donald Trump complimented Alito
and uh Thomas outher They said, I hope they don't leave.
I really like those guys.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
Yeah right, yeah, yeah, you know, so they's one vote, right, you.
Speaker 14 (22:27):
Know, but uh yeah, he crazy. And then I heard
that story about the about the Michigan guy. You know,
he he under he underprotected custody right now. He has
a suicide wi.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (22:38):
So he broke in the woman's house and he tried
to kill it. He was just gonna kill itself and
kill her.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (22:43):
So and now they got him on the protective country.
Speaker 7 (22:46):
So he just mess his whole life.
Speaker 14 (22:49):
You know, that's hard that you do married and then
you do some super ship stuff like that, and it
gets out in the public and you and you you
don't know, you don't want nobody to know. So yeah,
they did office. But you know, I guess that that
boy one around one line when he was talking about
what's his name of that George, the one that what
(23:09):
his name is? The thing of the blues guy, blues
guy say you gotta have it, can't have one? Remember, Yeah,
that's George King George.
Speaker 3 (23:20):
Yeah, yeah, Yeah, I guess it's still on. I mean,
they didn't do any advertising, so I don't know what
the heck. I don't know, but as far as it's
still on, I'm going yes.
Speaker 10 (23:33):
But all right then lincol I just want to holler let.
Speaker 15 (23:35):
You on that.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
Hey, thanks for your call. J Boogie. All right, a
little bit of King George. Yes, all right, let's go
to Langston Langston, how you doing today, Lincoln?
Speaker 16 (23:48):
Were my man the cat daddy a commentary.
Speaker 10 (23:52):
Boy?
Speaker 3 (23:54):
Pretty good? Langston? What's on your mind?
Speaker 16 (23:56):
Excellent?
Speaker 10 (23:57):
Excellent?
Speaker 14 (23:57):
Yeah, just one day chime.
Speaker 16 (23:59):
In regards to Donald Trump, I just want people to
keep him perspective of this whole rent that he did
yesterday or a day before. Understand that I've seen larger
crowds at a go bananas on open mic night. I
think there were like only two hundred people in there.
That's why he had the curtains pool.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
Really because the cameras they only showed the tight cut
of the people behind him.
Speaker 16 (24:21):
You know, so exactly, so all his his fervent followers
are falling off day after day after day because if
nothing else, pain will always kind of take the take
the ink shades of racism off your eyes to let
you know exactly what's going on outside of the people
like the young lady and what they at the Cinabond
(24:43):
that now has raised one hundred thousand dollars for calling
people the inWORD. But nonetheless, you know, pain will make
a believer out of people.
Speaker 3 (24:50):
Yes, yes, yes, and so yeah.
Speaker 16 (24:52):
And in regards to one more point, I want to
make oh, in regards to these promises that he's made
to farm. Understand those alive.
Speaker 14 (25:01):
He's never going to give you money.
Speaker 16 (25:03):
He's never going to do anything that unless it enriches himself.
If you can't enrich him or pay him in some
way some monastery, pay the playway, he's not going to
do anything for you.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
So I'm wondering.
Speaker 3 (25:14):
Yeah, I mean, how many billions was that he was
going to give the the farmers, how many buildings?
Speaker 16 (25:19):
I think it was too think it's.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
Like, maybe it was more than that. I thought it
was round twelve billion.
Speaker 11 (25:25):
It could be coulde.
Speaker 16 (25:27):
I was just trying to remember, But maybe and that
could be so, and that's what he said. But honestly,
if it doesn't enrich him, he's.
Speaker 7 (25:34):
Not going to do it.
Speaker 16 (25:35):
Yeah, And again it's funny we I think people still
continue to operate inside the box of racism where the
billionaires operate with the streams of racism. He don't care
if you're white or black, if you're poor, if you're
not in the top one percent, you can't do anything
for him.
Speaker 15 (25:53):
I will never forget.
Speaker 7 (25:54):
And as long as I live, when a.
Speaker 16 (25:56):
Man could tell a crowd to their face he likes
the ignerant people and that he prefers to be around
rich people as a opposed to poor people.
Speaker 7 (26:05):
And they cheered.
Speaker 16 (26:07):
That is probably the definition of being ignorant to a
fault yep. So I think again, you know, in regard
to that, people will learn from pain. And I think
if nothing else has been a wake up call, it's
definitely knowing that there won't be a Christmas for a
little Johnny and little Jannie. So don't be happy with
those thirty seven toys. Be happy with that one toy
(26:28):
you might get from from the what you call the
little the people with the cans, uh, you know, from
from the free store or something like that. You know,
it's just it's just gonna be a sad day for
a lot of people this Christmas. And hopefully we've all learned.
Speaker 3 (26:48):
Yes, yes, all right, hey, thanks for you call. Langston,
appreciate it, Thank you, my friend. All right, all right,
that's Langston laying it out there is only Langston can do.
Five three, seven, twelve thirty Lincoln, we're with you. We're
talking about the Michigan coach. We're talking Donald Trump and
(27:12):
taking over oil ships, now the helicopters. It was just
like watching the movie. You know, the helicopters came in,
they came down the rope there and then they went
straight to the brig and with their weapons pulled and
took over the ship. And now he doesn't know what
they're gonna do with the oil. I don't know what
we're gonna do. Unbelievable, unbelievable. And I mean, you watch,
(27:46):
things are gonna really amp up down in Venezuela. You
just watch. Keep your eye on that. Keep your eye
on not your Erusalem, but keep your eye on Venezuela.
I haven't heard from him lately, either, keep your eyes
(28:09):
on Jerusalem. And speaking of that part of the country,
I mean that part of the world. Those people are
still starving in Gaza. They're having a hard time living
in tents. They had a snow of winter storm or floods,
(28:32):
and those people are are having a tough time over
in Gaza. They're still starving. They are still starving. So
let's not forget about what's still happening over there. Those
people are starving. All right, Let's go to Valerie. Hey, Valerie,
(28:57):
how are you.
Speaker 7 (28:59):
Good?
Speaker 3 (29:00):
What's up?
Speaker 17 (29:00):
Your first guy, he's stowing my thunder because I wanted
to talk about the people that are at his rallies
and that are you know, behind him.
Speaker 14 (29:10):
Yes, And it's like the more.
Speaker 17 (29:14):
Racist and foul and nasty things that he says, the funnier, the.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
More they laugh. Yeah, I mean I don't get that.
Speaker 17 (29:22):
I mean, this is the president of the United States,
you know, in the country, and it's like these people,
you know, like I said, the more found and nastier
things that he said, the more funnier that they find that.
It's just crazy.
Speaker 3 (29:36):
Yeah, and then he says more to get him to
laugh more. He says, craziest stuff I said.
Speaker 17 (29:42):
The more found he get, the funnier they find it.
And this is who you represent and support as the
president of the of the United States. Donald Trump is
a clown.
Speaker 3 (29:53):
Yep, that's for sure.
Speaker 17 (29:54):
Yeah, he's a clown. All right, Okay, Lincoln.
Speaker 3 (29:57):
You have a good day, by thanks for your call.
Oh yeah, I mean, he says, the you know, the
more they laugh, the more outrageous he gets. He's just
like a comedian doing a stand up he ought to
do in one hour Netflix stand up Donald Trump, just
like Kevin hart did you did you ever see Kevin
(30:17):
Harten do this? He is funny as hell, let me
tell you. But that's what Donald Trump should do because
he gets up there and he tries to be a comedian.
He tries to be a comedian. Let's see what else
did we talk? Oh yeah, we talked about the Citizens
(30:37):
Complaint Authority. Whereas Irish ROWLEI does she have the same
status that she used to have. She used to have
a chair down there and she used to be right
there in the meetings, right in the thick of things.
Is she still doing that now with her new contract
or did they leave that line out? I don't know.
(31:02):
We'll have to talk to Iris Rowley, and we need
to talk to John Kennedy Junior about his role and
is he a friend of the people or is he
a friend of the police. I guess you have to
be neutral in that case, but still I don't know.
(31:27):
I want to thank everybody that brought toys to the
toy drive we're having here at Radio one, and they
tell me I'm supposed to be back there again next Wednesday.
The WiFi in there is horrible in that room, so
we'll have to figure something else out with the wi
(31:50):
fi in there because it was horrible. So we'll see,
but we got a lot of toys. I appreciate everybody.
Brother Powell. Brother Powell was on the scene. He stayed
there the entire time. Brother Powell. Oh yeah, And he
(32:12):
still says Jan Michelle lemon Kearney will not be the
vice mayor of Cincinnati. He says it'll be Mika Owens
say it ain't so Joe say it ain't so unbelievable.
All right, We're going to take a break and then
we'll come back. We got Nate White, Liar and Vernon
(32:36):
all holding on. It's Lincoln Ware twelve thirty The Buzz Cincinnati,
Lincoln Where with you till one o'clock this afternoon and
on the show this coming Sunday morning, six thirty Stars
sixty four. I've got Stuart Isaac's and he is the
president of the Sentinels. And I've got Ashley Bryant Bailey. Yeah,
(33:03):
Ashley Bryant Baill. I just want to stop at Brian,
you know what I mean, actually Bryant. But you know,
Ashley Bryant Bailey will be on the show. I said,
cut you divorce, so I can just say, actually Bryant,
because I mean I always have to think before, you know,
think what's that last name? What's that?
Speaker 14 (33:25):
What?
Speaker 10 (33:26):
Bailey?
Speaker 1 (33:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (33:27):
I have to I have to think to say that. Unbelievable.
But she she's gonna be a good representative. She's got
her act together. Let me tell you, Ashley Bryant Bailey
has got her act together, and she's gonna raise a
lot of hell up in Columbus. So there you go.
She's got the lincoln Ware stamp of approval. She'll do
(33:50):
all right up there amongst all those Republicans repute kins, okay, uh,
Nate Livingston, our condolencence to you, son, well, thank.
Speaker 2 (34:02):
You, sir, Thank you sir. You know, uh, mister Ware,
of before I get into it, are you telling me
you want to break up that lady's happy home because
it make it easier for you on the radio?
Speaker 1 (34:12):
What do you mean?
Speaker 3 (34:12):
Oh, it was a joke.
Speaker 1 (34:15):
It was a joke.
Speaker 3 (34:19):
It wouldn't make it easier to say her name, actually, Brian,
How easy is that? But when you have to say
actually Bryant Bailey, you know it just gets tough.
Speaker 2 (34:29):
Well, mister ware uh uh, you know I often have
said that people use you and use this radio a
sort of therapyst They use y'all sort of a therapy,
and I think I'm a little guilty of that today.
You know, people grieve and and go through stuff in
different ways. I've always found that it's helpful for me
(34:51):
to get in the fight. Yes, you know, and and
and so anyway, I was in Cincinnati yesterday handling some
personal business and I was able. I don't I should
have asked her. She minded me saying this while I
was meeting with her, but I didn't. I don't think
she'll mind. I was able to meet with Judge Tracy
(35:11):
Hunter yesterday, and I wanted to talk to Tracy number
one because I saw her on your show, and Lincoln,
you didn't catch but I did. Judge Tracy Hunter was
talking to you about the same thing I talked to
you about a couple of months ago, and you couldn't
believe it when I told you and Judge Marty how
(35:32):
that ain't true. And then Judge Tracy Hunter came and
told you she's trying to do the exact same thing
using the exact same law, and it seemed.
Speaker 14 (35:42):
To be a little more believable to you. So at
least be making progress on that point.
Speaker 3 (35:47):
What did she say? Refresh me? What did how did
she say it if you can't, I missed that, So
tell me what did she say?
Speaker 2 (35:56):
She said, he's seeking a special prosecute and an the restaurant.
But Joe des pat the wife for breaking the law
fit no felony and that the police, the staff, and
the prosecutor won't handle. So she's taking it into her
own law. She wanted to do a citizen's arrest.
Speaker 3 (36:20):
She didn't say anything about a citizen's arrest. She said
a prosecution. She didn't citizens arrests anyway.
Speaker 2 (36:31):
So the main reason I called, mister where, I'm watching
the county right now. They're still in the weekly meeting. Yes,
and next week on Thursday, they're going to have a
vote on the county budget. Well, earlier this week, County
Pillage clueless county, I call her, went into the commissioned
(36:53):
staff meeting and she asked the commissioners to increase her budget. Now,
if you go to Washington, D C. And you follow
that stuff, mister where you follow the news probably as
well as anybody else, you know that right now they
want some videos from them blowing up them. Yes, and
they're saying we have the congressmen, certain members of Congress
(37:18):
are saying we have the power of the purse, we
have the ability, we have checks and balances, and if
you don't give us that video, we're gonna use our
power the PERSE and we're gonna.
Speaker 10 (37:32):
Restrict your budget.
Speaker 2 (37:34):
Now, the County commissioners don't they get a budget request
from tiny privilege and the prosecutor's office.
Speaker 16 (37:43):
They don't have to accept that.
Speaker 2 (37:45):
They don't have to rubber stamp it. They can, they
can approve it, they can add to it, or they
can take away from it. Now, my point is simple.
If Congress can use the power of the perse over
the Department of Defense, then the County commissioners ought to
be able to use their power of the purse over
(38:09):
County pillage. And here the two Here are the two
main things that I believe the people of Hamilton County deserve.
Answers on Elwood Jones. County Pillage comes to the black
community and say, I believe Elwood Jones is done wrong,
but I just can't do nothing to get rid of
that case. And then when it comes to Jills Tracy Hunter,
(38:31):
it's sort of the same. I believe that it was wrong,
but I I'm the prosecutor, I'm in charge my name
is on every document that go out, but I just
can't do nothing about it. So if Khinye hain't exercise
her power and do right by Elwood Jones, and she
can't exercise her power and do right by Jills Tracy Hunter,
(38:56):
then I believe that it's incumbing upon the commission. All democrats,
y'all can use your power of the purse. You can
do a checking balance or a tiny pillage. Tiny pillage.
Your office is out of control. You got some people
who apparently don't win roads. You can't control them. So
guess what we want to know in seven days by
(39:20):
the time we vote on the budget. I believe this
is reasonable, mister ware. You tell me if you think
it is. We want to know because Alicia Reeves in
the meeting said she made it a point to keep
saying we have to vote on our budgets every year.
This ain't nobody any budget. So tiny pillage has been
in there almost a year. Yeah, is it reasonable for
(39:42):
the county commissioners to say, before we vote on your
budget next Thursday, we require a line item. We want
to know down to the dollar, how much money did
you spend on prostituting Casey Hunter, how much money did
you spend and their power hours? How much time and
(40:04):
money did you spend on ill wood jokes? Do you
believe that that's reasonable? Mister ware?
Speaker 3 (40:09):
Uh, it's reasonable, and it's almost like black mail, but
it's reasonable. It's reasonable. I mean, I agree. I mean
they should do a lot. We the Veteran Service Commission.
We have to present to them a line item veto,
I mean a line items on what we're spending this for.
Speaker 2 (40:27):
You know. So, now, all these people at one point
in time the Knee three House are good friends. Stephanie
Summer Dumas.
Speaker 3 (40:38):
Why you laugh?
Speaker 1 (40:39):
You say that.
Speaker 3 (40:41):
I have nothing against Stephanie. Some are all dumas. Okay,
let me go on her. I have nothing to get
now maybe some of her family members. I might have
issue with some of her family members, but we're okay.
Speaker 2 (40:54):
I believe it. At various points in time, they have
all said, just like Connie, that they believe that what
happened to Jewish Hunter is wrong and they just want
something done. Here is an opportunity for them to put
that money where their mouth fits or so to speak.
Oh does that make sense?
Speaker 3 (41:12):
To where did they say?
Speaker 16 (41:13):
Well, now say that again, I said.
Speaker 2 (41:16):
This is an opportunity for them to put that money.
Speaker 3 (41:18):
Yeah, yeah, it makes sense. It makes sense.
Speaker 2 (41:21):
Mister where this has been probably gonna be the last
Living Report for the year twenty twenty five. I thank
you for the condolences, and I thank you for letting
me get my radio therapy today.
Speaker 3 (41:35):
All right, well, happy new year to you. Since I
won't talk to you until next year. But I tell
you your son and I'm sorry to hear about the
loss of yourseln But he looks like a spinning image
of you. I thought that was you when I first
saw the picture. I'm telling you, he looks he's the
spinning image of a young Nate Livingston back when I
(41:58):
knew you, back way back when. But condolences and we'll
talk to you next year.
Speaker 11 (42:04):
Nate.
Speaker 3 (42:05):
We'll be looking forward to another Livingston Report.
Speaker 15 (42:09):
Thanks.
Speaker 3 (42:10):
All right, that's Nate Livingston and our condolences to Nate's family.
All right, it's eleven o'clock time for the Owl shadow
Cutty News, the color films, pictures and sounds of the
day's events from the station where news is first. Now
here's Owl shadow Cuttie. They used to say that back
(42:31):
in the day That was his opening for the owl
shadow CUTTI News. It's entrenched in my brain, you know
what I mean. Let's take a break news coming up
twelve thirty the buzz talk station link and where with
you till one o'clock this afternoon? And uh, yeah, we
saw Lindsay's brother yesterday, mister black and Bossy Yes, and Lindsey, Yeah,
(42:58):
I can tell he's your brother. I can tell he's
your brother. But it was a nice meeting him and
his black embossy products and he brought a gift into Yeah,
great guy. All right, let's move along. The cold weather
is here. You gotta turn that thermostat up. And even
(43:20):
if you don't turn it up, those bills are gonna
turn up very high. And let's go to my good
friend with the HEAP program over at the Community Action Agency,
Diane doja, doja? How you doing, Diane.
Speaker 11 (43:37):
Lincoln? How are you? I just love the way you
say my name.
Speaker 3 (43:43):
Yes, well, I tell you it's time you getting ready
to get busy over there, because those heating bills are
coming out and they are high, high high, and a
lot of people who qualify for aid they'll be calling
on you.
Speaker 11 (43:58):
Yeah, Busy, says November one, and so as you know,
and everybody here in the city knows, we've gotten snow earlier,
is gotten colder earlier, and so everybody's needing the assistance.
And so yeah, we've been very busy for the last
couple of weeks.
Speaker 3 (44:20):
Yes, yes, yes, And so what's going to happen? What
do people need to do? And like you said, those
lines are going to double this year with the economy,
which everything else is going on, what do they have
to do?
Speaker 11 (44:33):
So right now, you know, we are only taking appointments
by appointments only. We see between sixty five and eighty
people a day face to face appointments. We do morning
appointments in afternoon, and so I want to give the
phone number that individuals can call to make those appointments.
(44:54):
One of the things before I give the number, Lincoln,
I want the community to understand is that if you
make an appointment or you're calling Duke and they're saying, well,
call Community Action Agency. And then when you make the appointment,
just tell them to call us because you've made the appointment. No,
when they call us and make the appointment, we send
(45:17):
a list to Duke overnight, so that any individual who
is in disconnect status or their services are going to
get cut off in the next ten days. They will
hold their appointments, hold their services on until they get.
Speaker 3 (45:33):
In here to Okay, okay, okay, that's good. What is
that phone number?
Speaker 11 (45:37):
That phone number is an area code five one three
six A five four four seven eights. Once again, five
one three six A five four four seven eight.
Speaker 3 (45:50):
Okay, man, And I'm seeing messages here on my Facebook page.
Someone says it's so hard to get anything done. Don't
nobody answer those phones over there and all kinds of stuff.
So I know you you're probably shorthanded like everybody else is,
but you will return every call that you get and
(46:10):
you'll help them out.
Speaker 11 (46:12):
Well, but think about it. This is an automated system.
If you remember back in the day, and I know
you do, because we're in that age group where people
used to come outside of CIA and just stand in line.
Speaker 3 (46:25):
I remember that.
Speaker 1 (46:26):
I remember that.
Speaker 3 (46:27):
I remember that, right.
Speaker 11 (46:29):
So, the state of Ohio decided across the state they
would give us an automated system so people could call
and make a pointment and so you typinically won't get
an individual that you're talking to. You know, it's first come,
first service. As I said earlier, if we're getting people
(46:49):
making appointments, sixty five to eighty people a day, we
are servicing the community. So you may not get an
individual talking to you because we don't have a phone
uh center. We have an automated system and all of
us know that everything we do now is almost automated, right.
Speaker 3 (47:11):
Yes, everywhere you go, you're either gonna talk to a
machine or you're gonna talk to somebody over in India.
Speaker 11 (47:19):
Yes. Yeah, so you know, well, while the community really
is asking for that one on one care that we
used to give the customer service.
Speaker 14 (47:31):
That those those days ago, that's what they want.
Speaker 11 (47:34):
Everybody who is in business, that's.
Speaker 1 (47:36):
What people want.
Speaker 3 (47:37):
They want that face to face one on one. But
you got to make an appointment for that. You still
get that, but it's gonna take a little more time.
Speaker 11 (47:45):
Yes, yes, And and one of the things I do
want to stress to the community is that don't wait
till the last minute. If you know, last the last month,
I knew that I had a disconnect that was going
to be doue this month, and so don't wait until
the day of and try to call I need help.
It's not going to happen.
Speaker 3 (48:06):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, gotta you gotta be get ahead of
the whole situation. You get that notice, you have plenty
of time once you get that notice to make that
call the CAA. Yeah all right, yeah, Now what do
you have to be? Have a certain income? What's the
income guidelines?
Speaker 11 (48:24):
So the income guideline is one hundred and seventy five
percent of the property guideline. You know, typically that doesn't
mean much to the community. Now, as an example, a
senior citizen whose income may be Social Security at seven
at nine hundred and seventy dollars a month, if they
(48:46):
will qualify for this program, if they're in disconnect, we
can pay one seventy five on their account to stop
that stopped that disconnect from happening, and then what we
do is try to put them on the PIT plus program,
which is a percentage income payment plan ten percent of
nine hundred and seventy dollars. You may have to pay
(49:09):
seventy dollars a month. Now you may be using two
hundred dollars for for usage every time you make your
ten percent of PEN payment, which is seventy dollars a month.
If you have a balance, they will take one hundred
and twenty four percent off of the back end of
your balance, So it's a worthwhile program to be on.
(49:31):
I always like to stress to the community that you
got to make that payment though you can't miss a
payment and then expect for everything.
Speaker 3 (49:40):
To work like it's opposed to Yep, yep, all right, Well,
I tell you people need to get on a situation
right away. You can't waste time. You can't wait until
the last minute. You can't wait till the day before
they're gonna cut you off to call up to try
to get help. It won't work that way.
Speaker 11 (49:56):
Yes, yes, one of the other things looking at it.
And you know, I'm excited because with all of the
programs being cut through the country. You know li Heat,
which is what Heat falls under in the programs we administer.
We have our funding till August of twenty twenty six,
so we're we're good right now.
Speaker 3 (50:18):
Okay, okay, all right, Well give that phone number once
again so people can call make an appointment. Don't wait
until you have one day before that disconnect notice is
going to hit you. What's the phone number?
Speaker 11 (50:31):
That phone number is area called five one three six
eight five four four seven eight.
Speaker 3 (50:37):
That's five one three six eight, five four four seven eight. Yes,
all right, Diane Doja, it's always great talking to you.
Speaker 14 (50:49):
Good talking.
Speaker 2 (50:50):
You have a good holiday, all right.
Speaker 3 (50:52):
That's Diane Dozja, just like Frase y'ah. All right, thanks
for your call. Appreciate it all right. From a community
action agency and folks, yeah, call that number. Let me
say it again before you call Terrence.
Speaker 1 (51:09):
What was the number?
Speaker 3 (51:11):
Five one three six eight, five four four seven eight.
That's the number. All right, let's move along five one
three seven four nine twelve thirty link and we're with
you till one o'clock. Hey, Vernon, what's going on?
Speaker 5 (51:28):
Hey?
Speaker 7 (51:28):
What's going on?
Speaker 2 (51:29):
Brother?
Speaker 18 (51:29):
Can you read?
Speaker 15 (51:30):
Hey?
Speaker 3 (51:30):
You loud and clear?
Speaker 15 (51:32):
Good?
Speaker 18 (51:32):
Yeah? I was talking about that brother from Michigan. Uh,
thank you for God. He was flashed, you know, cause
you can't do that right, you know. And and I
guess he should have talked to the Michigan state coach
remember him, right, remember?
Speaker 1 (51:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 18 (51:48):
Ninety five million dollar contract.
Speaker 3 (51:51):
Yeah, And I think you know, it's almost like they
set you up to fire you for that when they
said we can't let this black man make this money.
And I don't think they wanted him to be the
head coach anyway after Harball left, but it would have
destroyed the team if they had a guy rid of him.
Speaker 18 (52:09):
Well, it was in Harvard's contract, did he'd be given
the job?
Speaker 3 (52:13):
Okay, okay, okay.
Speaker 18 (52:14):
So that was in his contract. So and they didn't
feed Ohio State or anything. They really wasn't looking that good.
So I'm wondering after they did their investigation the bound
to find out that this woman is supposedly pregnant back
then gave an excuse, he's pregnant, oh boy and everything,
(52:36):
and apparently everybody really knew that they was having an affair.
But the reality is all these ball coaches are out
here messing around with the whoever they worked with or whatever.
It's just they didn't want him, and for him to
be so bold about it out out in the open
around the campus, I guess he forgot what he was,
(52:57):
you know, a black man in Michigan ball. You know,
like they you should have talked to Michigan States, though
they here reminded them, just like some of the black
Republicans need to talk to Ken Blackwell. But apparently we're
taking over hame takers now.
Speaker 3 (53:19):
It looks like it man looked like a TV movie.
Speaker 18 (53:22):
So he's determined to try to start a war to
distract from this horrible economy, the horrible job numbers, horrible inflation,
almost to the point where he had that little rally,
and I guess they didn't let everybody see how many
people was actually there. But apparently it's like people there, right,
(53:45):
And he had the nerve to go to Pennsylvania where
all the skilled workers have lost their jobs, all kinds
of unemployment, because that's a that's a high union area
with the big union state. Be those junior members. Remember
they couldn't decide if they wanted to back a candidate
(54:07):
this year.
Speaker 14 (54:08):
Remember that we don't want to back in.
Speaker 3 (54:12):
And they spoke at the convention. Now, remember they spoke
at the convention and everything at the Republican Convention.
Speaker 18 (54:19):
Yeah, and uh, I had to Actually I was down
in Corbin, Kentucky yesterday and a truck driver could not
move had to move his truck. Well, not only could
he not speak English, he was Somalie.
Speaker 3 (54:33):
Oh boy.
Speaker 18 (54:35):
Yeah, And they took every bit of my kindness to
help this man because he could not.
Speaker 14 (54:42):
Back his truck up.
Speaker 18 (54:44):
And he was in where I needed to be at
to make my delivery. So I moved his truck for him.
That truck sneel like a bunch of dead.
Speaker 14 (54:51):
People was in there.
Speaker 3 (54:52):
Are you kidding me?
Speaker 18 (54:53):
Oh my god. He definitely was living in that truck
and he had a problem backing up, which made me
want to how you actually.
Speaker 3 (55:00):
Got a life that something? Geez?
Speaker 18 (55:03):
Yeah, well some states how they get their license. If
some states still let your grandfather in the truck, just
drive somebody. So if you got the money, you could
be grandfather, then you don't have to go.
Speaker 3 (55:16):
That's crazy, that's crazy.
Speaker 18 (55:17):
But I thought about him. I said, you know, should
not help this guy out, since you know they's better
than us and they don't relieve you know, they all voted.
Speaker 7 (55:25):
For him to you know, Molly, Yeah right, you voted
for him.
Speaker 3 (55:32):
They did. Now now he's treating them like crap. He's
treating them like crap.
Speaker 18 (55:36):
Yeah, so ah, but I had to make that delivery,
get the hell out of the problem. He couldn't be
back his home truck up.
Speaker 7 (55:43):
That was a damn change.
Speaker 3 (55:43):
Oh my goodness, he's living in that truck, you think, Yeah, Dad,
that's why I like to go home.
Speaker 18 (55:49):
I'll work by twelve thirteen hours.
Speaker 7 (55:51):
But I'm going home.
Speaker 1 (55:55):
Better.
Speaker 11 (55:56):
Brother.
Speaker 3 (55:57):
After you got in that truck, you should have checked
for bed bugs, you.
Speaker 19 (56:01):
Know, all.
Speaker 14 (56:04):
Right, all right, all right, I'll.
Speaker 3 (56:07):
Talk to you vernon. You know, let's take a break.
We'll come back. Five one three, seven, four nine, twelve thirty.
Lincoln wear with you, twelve thirty the buzz and in
the moon. Unbelievable. That is a shock to me. What
does he know about that stuff? That's right. He wants
to be a black person. Deep down inside, he wants
(56:28):
to be black. I know, I know, all right. Five
one three, seven, four nine twelve thirty Lincoln wear with
you and he's swinging in air. Now let's go to Pat. Pat,
good morning. How are you well, Lincoln.
Speaker 19 (56:44):
I'm not too well. I'm trying to recover. I just
got out of the hospital. And I heard that you
had collected your toy drive. And usually when you put
the call out and you ask for toys or something,
I usually give. So I didn't want you to think, oh, Pat,
I didn't see her. You probably don't even care, but
(57:05):
I care. But either where it goes, I want to
do something different than a toy. What I would like
to do, and I don't know how I can do this.
Are you still there?
Speaker 3 (57:16):
I'm still here, Okay.
Speaker 19 (57:18):
I would like to sponsor someone to go to law
school because I may not make it, and so so
if I can't make it, I would like to donate
someone that's in your listening audience that either they're going
to law school or a high school student or something.
Speaker 2 (57:42):
But that's what I.
Speaker 17 (57:43):
Would like to do, and at a later date I can.
Speaker 19 (57:46):
Talk to you about making arrangements.
Speaker 3 (57:48):
Wait, wait right now, wait, I mean, do you know
how much it is going to cost to go to
law school?
Speaker 11 (57:53):
Are you well?
Speaker 19 (57:54):
I'm not saying I'm furnishing their whole law school, because
law school it probably does cause I.
Speaker 2 (58:00):
Know, what are you saying?
Speaker 3 (58:01):
What are you saying? You said you wanted to sponsor
somebody through law school.
Speaker 19 (58:05):
I'm saying I would like to make a dull nation.
I don't have to do it now. I'm not exactly
sure how Lincoln I said, I just got out of
the hospital. Yes, but that being said some young man,
some young lady. I don't know who's out there, but
if that's their desire to go to law school, because
(58:27):
we need legal action. You just saw this settlement that happened.
It took five years, yes, five years of people's lives,
five years of my life and other people and we
all have been impacted by this. We definitely need some
(58:47):
lawyer coming up who can maybe jump on the case
right away.
Speaker 3 (58:52):
Okay, well, let me tell you what you should do.
You should go to maybe Walnut Hills or somewhere and
ask for the counselor I'm a black student that wants
to go to law school and help him out or something.
Speaker 2 (59:05):
Him or no, I know what I would like to do.
Speaker 19 (59:09):
Because you have a lot of listeners, and that's why
I'm putting it out there.
Speaker 3 (59:13):
We don't want to be I don't want to be
involved in any type of transactions like that.
Speaker 2 (59:18):
I don't want it.
Speaker 3 (59:19):
We don't want to be involved.
Speaker 19 (59:21):
You don't have to be involved in any transaction. I'll
do the transaction. I'm just asking you to be on
the lookout, okay for anyone that calls your listening audience
and they may say, well, I have a desire to
go to law school, or my niece or nephew that
(59:41):
they had a desire, and then at that particular point,
I'll be listening to your show through after the week
hopefully prayerfully, and then that way I'll know, and then
I would get with them. And everything has to be
in writing, because I don't take anybody's word, and it
would have to be same here background check. But that's
what I was want to do and the reason why
(01:00:02):
I want to do that. Lincoln, when you're in the hospital,
you have a lot of reflection.
Speaker 2 (01:00:07):
Yeah, and I have some reflection.
Speaker 19 (01:00:09):
And I was like, well, since I can't go to
law school, but there might be somebody else out there
that is going to law school, and if I can
help them with books or tuition. And like I said,
I don't know what they'm now to be, but I
know that's my desire.
Speaker 3 (01:00:25):
What do you do for a living?
Speaker 10 (01:00:26):
Back?
Speaker 14 (01:00:29):
What do you mean?
Speaker 2 (01:00:29):
What do I do for a living?
Speaker 19 (01:00:31):
Just what?
Speaker 3 (01:00:32):
I don't know how to define it anymore.
Speaker 7 (01:00:34):
What do you do?
Speaker 14 (01:00:35):
What?
Speaker 11 (01:00:36):
First?
Speaker 2 (01:00:36):
About?
Speaker 19 (01:00:36):
Why would you ask me that question?
Speaker 3 (01:00:38):
You you're the one that sponsoring somebody to go to
law school pay help them pay their tuition. I just
thought I would to ask the question.
Speaker 19 (01:00:48):
Okay, well, we'll revisit that another day, but for right now,
what's most important. I want to give my condolences to
name and the reason why I want to do that.
Speaker 2 (01:00:59):
Nade, if you're out there.
Speaker 19 (01:01:00):
Still listening, I know that you are on the front
line and you are always out there trying to help
the black community. I know when the Collaborative Agreement was
out there, you were out there on the front line
trying to make sure that the black people in this
community and other people too, got their justice. And so
my heart goes out to you. I just want the
(01:01:22):
person to personally say that over the airwaves. And Lincoln,
like I said, I just got out of the hospital.
So we'll have this conversation another day.
Speaker 2 (01:01:32):
Give me a prayer.
Speaker 19 (01:01:33):
Community, but know that there are people out there like
Nate and other people that are really really out there
working for you. And so if we can send a
giant card or something to Nate, if we could find
a young lady or man out in the community that
you know they're the next lawyer, please let's do so.
So that's my contribution, and thank.
Speaker 3 (01:01:54):
You, Thank you, Pat. There's something true going on around here.
Speaker 1 (01:02:01):
Lincoln. I'm trying not to laughter it hurts, but.
Speaker 3 (01:02:07):
Oh boy, all right, oh boy, I tell you, I
don't know. I don't know. I don't know why she
got so upset because I asked her, what does she
do for a living? She don't pay somebody's tuition to
law school and doing all this. I'm just checking her out.
Like she said, they got to do a background checking
all this stuff. But I don't want to be involved
(01:02:31):
in any of that stuff. You find this person on
your own, I don't want me on the station involved
in any of that.
Speaker 1 (01:02:38):
Oh boy, it was a legitimate question. Law school.
Speaker 3 (01:02:44):
I thought, I don't know, I don't know how much
it costs to go to law school.
Speaker 1 (01:02:48):
It's a lot of money.
Speaker 3 (01:02:49):
But I mean, she's in the hospital, not working, and
unless she want the lottery and something that came into
a lot of money. I just I was just checking her.
She wants to check the person out. I was just
checking her out. Let's take a break and then we'll
come back. Twelve thirty the Buns? Is that Alexander O'Neill. Okay,
(01:03:11):
Alexander O'Neill, Yeah, okay, I want to make sure, Okay,
all right, Alexander O'Neill, What's missing? That was one of
his great hits. I love that song, all right. Stephen A.
Smith talking about Burrow no telling what he's saying, but
I agree with you gotta have fun doing.
Speaker 6 (01:03:35):
What you like.
Speaker 3 (01:03:36):
You can do what you like better when you're having fun.
And I agree with Joe Burrow on that if you're
not having fun then it can be horrible. I've been
through that. I've been through that before, and it's no
fun when you're not having fun doing what you like
(01:03:58):
to do. I've had several periods in my radio broadcast
career where I didn't have fun doing what I like
to do. Yes, I did. A guy I would wake
up not really wanting to come in. Yeah, but if
(01:04:24):
he stays there with it long, it'll change around Joe Burrow,
It'll change. You'll go through these hills and valleys. Right
now you're in a valley of doing what you like
to do, but it's no fun. But you'll come out
of that. Just stick with it. Trust me, I've been there.
Let's go to the Dukes to find out what's cooking today.
Speaker 20 (01:04:47):
Hey, Top of the morning to you, Lincoln and what's
up buzz listeners and welcome a free side Thursday. You
have to do this, folks. I'm pretty sure that you're
aware how difficult it is to get dollars worth of
value from every dollar that you. In these economic times
that we're living in, it's extremely important that we spend
our heart earned dollars with local black businesses in our community.
(01:05:09):
That's why at the Douster we feature free side Thursday,
and that means when you purchase a meal on Thursday,
you get to pick an additional side dish absolutely free.
Plus today you'll get a pre order our delicious peach
Cobbler now Lincoln today at the Dukes, So you can
get a late morning breakfast consisting of two scrambled eggs,
two strips of bacon, fried onions and potatoes, toes and
(01:05:33):
a fresh cup of coffee for only seventeen dollars. Or
you can have a half protisserie chicken with green beans
and potato salad. We're also featuring our golden salmon crokeress
with macaroni and cheese and coal slaugh. But my pick
for today, Lincoln is our crispy catfish blaze with smothered cabbage,
candied jams and corn bread. Have a less day, everybody,
(01:05:57):
talk at your lady Lincoln.
Speaker 3 (01:05:58):
All right. That's the Dukester East Side Thursday, right there
in the Summit Plaza on Ready Road. All right, let's
move along five, one, three, seven, four, nine, twelve thirty.
Let's go to JB. Then Rick Junior, and there's room
for you right here. On twelve thirty the buzz JB.
Speaker 1 (01:06:15):
Talk to me.
Speaker 21 (01:06:17):
Yeah, how you doing today?
Speaker 10 (01:06:19):
All right, that's good.
Speaker 21 (01:06:21):
I got a question. Yeah, Yet those people came here
our Lincoln Heights and what have you and all that.
Do you think that they're going to do that here
down in Cincinnati.
Speaker 3 (01:06:34):
No, I don't think so. No, I don't think so.
I don't think they'll come into the city of Cincinnati. No, no, no,
even though they did in Columbus. They marched down right
down the streets of Columbus. But uh, I don't think
they'll do that here.
Speaker 14 (01:06:53):
No.
Speaker 21 (01:06:55):
I was just wondering because I was scared. Man, I'll
be fighting it some people.
Speaker 3 (01:06:59):
Yes, well, uh they got enough. I think they got enough.
When they went out to Lincoln Heights. It scared the
hell out of them. They didn't think Lincoln Heights would
be ready for him, and they were fooled. Lincoln Heights. Hey,
they came out gang banging, know what I mean. I
don't think they want to do that again.
Speaker 10 (01:07:21):
Yeah, I just wanted it, all right, Okay, thanks for
your call. You're welcome.
Speaker 3 (01:07:28):
Okay, all right, JB. Hey, I don't know what he
wanted to hear from me, but he didn't sound happy
at the end. Come on, JB, living up a little.
I told you they're not coming. No need to be sad,
all right, Rick Jr. What's on that feeble mind of
yours today?
Speaker 7 (01:07:47):
Where are you going?
Speaker 3 (01:07:48):
All right?
Speaker 7 (01:07:49):
You know if you uh, I've been down here in
Dallas since twenty ten, and I've traveled across the country
when I was in the Air Force. Well I've been
you know, across across.
Speaker 21 (01:07:59):
The whole to us and if you talk to.
Speaker 7 (01:08:03):
People, there's one common problem with educating young people, and
that is a lack of black male teachers. Yeah, and
it's not because of It's not because they want so
much money or anything. Because God knows, there's so many
professionals that they're laid off. But you know there's an
(01:08:23):
availability out there.
Speaker 3 (01:08:25):
Well yeah, but I think you know men and they
you know, they need to take care of their family,
and I don't know if they make enough to do that.
I mean, they don't know.
Speaker 7 (01:08:38):
Some teachers, I mean down here, I'll be a teacher
can make sixty a year. I mean, that's that's not
chicken feed. The problem of me if they make you
jump through so many hoops.
Speaker 3 (01:08:50):
Yeah, when rent, when Rent's got you fifteen dollars a
month or your mortgage is going to be two thousand
a month. You know, they either they can teach and
do have a side hustle. They might be able to
do it then, but it's just hard to get black
males to go into teaching. It's just hard to do.
(01:09:10):
And yeah, we would love to have more in there
because I think the kids they're paying more attention when
it's a black teacher, more so than they would if
it was a white blind from the suburbs.
Speaker 2 (01:09:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:09:24):
And the other problem is, and this is what was
lacking when I was going to quarter Tack, is exposure
of all the career opportunities out there. I mean that
just did happen when I.
Speaker 3 (01:09:35):
Was well had they had a career fair just past
Saturday at Woodward. They had a career fair this past
Saturday at Woodward with a lot of different professions and
things like that. So yeah, they didn't have exposure like
that then, but they've got it now.
Speaker 10 (01:09:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:09:54):
Well, well maybe I'm talking about it directly the school
I mean even the schools to take some claer Is
out on field trips to like, for example, I'm the
right Patterson. I mean you know p G I guess oh,
I mean you know, you know taking we used to
always go apart in them or or uh you know
what else, Uh, since you know local sys company gets old.
(01:10:15):
But I'm talking about uh, you know places that that
you don't even know about, like right Patterson or Okay,
what what career.
Speaker 3 (01:10:24):
Other than joining the Air Force and stuff? And what career?
Uh we would write Patterson had what career? I mean,
of course air traffic controller and stuff like that. I
see what you're saying, air traffic controller, airline mechanic, stuff
like that, airplane mechanics.
Speaker 7 (01:10:43):
If there's a there's a wealth of opportunity and the
Air Force that people don't realize. I didn't, I don't
even know existed until I got an Air Force. I mean, hell,
if you could be a polar manager, I mean you
could come in as a second lieutenant and be and
go and and have responsibilities, go to meetings and you'd
be sitting next to VP.
Speaker 3 (01:11:02):
Okay, so what are you a recruiter for the Air Force.
Now you're a recruiter for the Air Force.
Speaker 7 (01:11:07):
Now, I'm just saying even the navis or or.
Speaker 3 (01:11:14):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (01:11:15):
I just said my past because I was close to that,
and I started to say, what the hospitals too. I mean,
but you know they uh in the hospitals every nursing
and and everybody wants to go on to nursing or
or medicine. I mean, everybody knows about that. But I'm
just talking about uh opportunities out there that the councilors
(01:11:39):
don't tell us the students.
Speaker 3 (01:11:41):
Yeah, how do you know that that was?
Speaker 11 (01:11:43):
Then?
Speaker 3 (01:11:43):
How do you know what the councils are doing nowadays?
Do you actually know? And it's very few of them anyway,
So I don't know.
Speaker 7 (01:11:53):
Well, I don't see much. I mean back, I know,
back thirty forty years ago, they showed and tell us that.
You know how I found out about their force.
Speaker 14 (01:12:00):
H I just happened.
Speaker 7 (01:12:02):
I was a sceenior at house and getting ready to
graduate out of Quarter attack and I just happened to
be my dead beat. My counselor was a dead beat. Really, Uh,
I just happened to be in his office and he
had a Cample sitting there for a four year all
TC scholarship and uh and I said, you know, because
he was telling me this, this bull craft. Uh uh,
(01:12:22):
you know, I wasn't interested in I'm looking for a
scholarship and stuff.
Speaker 14 (01:12:27):
And I said, what is that?
Speaker 7 (01:12:29):
What is that coounport for? So I said, I said,
can I use that?
Speaker 10 (01:12:33):
Can I?
Speaker 7 (01:12:33):
Can I have that? So I took it home and
rented and applied and applied for it, and and the
rest is history. And he wasn't even uh he was
he could he could give less than adorn when I
when I went to uh what do they call it?
Senior Day, I should have been getting. I'm not banging
him myself.
Speaker 14 (01:12:51):
I have been getting more than what I got.
Speaker 7 (01:12:53):
I mean, they weren't you know, they weren't give it
out back then. They weren't giving out scholarship or or
all or a lot of students. They honored the kids
for athletics and stuff like that. That's about it, you know.
Speaker 3 (01:13:07):
About Rick Jr. I gotta go. Thanks for your Kyle,
all right? Who's at Jerika says, I agree? There are children,
There are civilian jobs that I wasn't aware of until adulthood. Yeah,
and that's why when they had these career fairs, I
(01:13:29):
think that's a great thing. The Delta's had theirs over
at Woodward High School last week, and uh, they say
it was a great turnout and they had people from
all different segments of the job market out there, you know,
from h VAC they had, They just had so many
different people out there. I mean it was a great
(01:13:52):
turnout and a lot of different companies showed up to
offer careers to these Then so there you go. All right,
let's go to Julie. Julie, I know you'll be at
the game. I don't know you whether you'll be at
the game Sunday or not. But I'm glad he's on
the team.
Speaker 13 (01:14:12):
Lincoln, I'm not sitting in no code for dude. I
won't be at the game, especially if we get snowing code.
When he was when he was with the Texans. I
went down there and you know, I saw, I saw
a game.
Speaker 3 (01:14:24):
Yeah, yeah, I don't.
Speaker 13 (01:14:26):
I don't play I don't play the code weather.
Speaker 3 (01:14:28):
I don't either. I don't need it. But I know
your family has to be happy, real happy for him.
Yeah he's a good kid. Uh, just you know, starting
to you know, just got married and everything last year,
so this is great.
Speaker 13 (01:14:41):
Yeah, he's he's, he's he's a good, good young man,
very very faithful, faithful man to God. And you know,
and and and I just think that, you know, guy's
had his hand in it when it's his time. But
you know, I just you know, we'll just be thrilled
to see if he gets on the field here.
Speaker 3 (01:14:55):
Yeah, you know, I was, I was.
Speaker 13 (01:14:56):
Wondering with the T Higgins, you know, and he the
way he got hurt, you know, Lincoln. I don't it
seems like they'd be able to construct some type of.
Speaker 18 (01:15:04):
Special helmets for T.
Speaker 13 (01:15:05):
Higgins or something, because it seems like his neck is
so long, and this is what it looks like to me.
Every time he goes down, he.
Speaker 3 (01:15:11):
Can't his neck is not strong enough to keep that
head from hitting hard.
Speaker 13 (01:15:16):
Yes, it kicks back and his head hits the ground
so hard. Just looks painful every time.
Speaker 3 (01:15:22):
And when he when he came back from that concussion,
every time he would fall down, he grab.
Speaker 13 (01:15:27):
His head, his head and they say, once you get one,
it's that much more easy, you know, for you to
get another one. So yeah, I'm keeping keeping it.
Speaker 3 (01:15:36):
I don't think he should have came back last week.
He probably should have stayed on the sidelines last week.
Speaker 19 (01:15:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (01:15:43):
Well, I think they were trying to keep those playoffs
hopes a lot. And he's t Higgins.
Speaker 14 (01:15:48):
He's a beast.
Speaker 13 (01:15:49):
He up you know, they can put balls places. He's tall,
and he goes up and gets those walls that even
Jamar Chase I don't think he can get because he's
so tall.
Speaker 3 (01:15:57):
He's so tall. Yeah, he's the man, that's for sure.
Speaker 13 (01:15:59):
Yeah, he's so you know, they were trying.
Speaker 7 (01:16:01):
But now now I think that they think, you know,
you know, we need to.
Speaker 13 (01:16:04):
We need to rest some of our best players, and
they they need to do that. But what I wanted
to say Lincoln about that, Sharon Moore, that's that's terrible,
you know, man, that what a fall from grace right,
Oh boy, yeah, I mean that's horrible. I feel bad
for him, I really do, because you know, I mean,
you know, well he's messing around, but he you know,
(01:16:25):
and now he's now he's on suicide watch. I guess
losing all that money.
Speaker 11 (01:16:29):
Would put you on the side.
Speaker 3 (01:16:30):
I guess I would. I mean, you're looking at your future,
you're saying, man, I really messed this up. I'm you know,
I'll never make it back. I'll never make it back.
And he's I mean, oh boy, who knows what all
this whole story is about anyway? Who knows what's going on?
You hear all kind of rumor, somebody says she was pregnant,
all kind of stuff you hear.
Speaker 13 (01:16:50):
So I don't know, Well, I'm wondering if you know.
I mean, you know, him being in a supervisory position,
you know a lot of times that's in their their
code of ethics things.
Speaker 18 (01:17:00):
You know, you don't you don't mess around.
Speaker 13 (01:17:02):
With the people who you're really kind of supervising. You know,
he's the head coach here, and now he's messing around
with some young woman. Yeah, they take too kindly to that,
so that that was probably the thing they said.
Speaker 3 (01:17:13):
They didn't really want him anyway, He wasn't their choice, but.
Speaker 13 (01:17:17):
You know, he mess he messed around and found out, Like, yeah,
he messed around and found out a lot of times,
you know, we get too big for the program. But
after I saw the way he was acting with Hardball Left,
I was like, he he lost serious cool points when
he's crying over Horrorball, Like he was like this, he
was I didn't think you. I was like, yeah, I
(01:17:39):
wasn't real crazy about him as a coach anyhow, as
as just a black man period.
Speaker 3 (01:17:43):
Well, I wonder what's gonna happen with Carrie Combes now,
because uh, he just signed with Michigan, and uh they're
gonna keep the whole team there, and now are they
going to bring in another coach? Is going to bring
in his people? So this is gonna be real crazy here.
Speaker 14 (01:17:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (01:18:00):
It threw everything into just chaos there. I'm sure so,
But you know, I don't know, Searon. He should have
He should have definitely been walking a rope in that one.
When you get a position like that, you have to
dot your eyes and cross your t's. I mean, that's
you talking about you were the head coach of Michigan.
I mean, and I should be calling it that team
up North because.
Speaker 14 (01:18:20):
You know, yes, yes they don't like But one more thing.
Speaker 13 (01:18:25):
Lincoln Trump is out of his mind that that that rant.
He went on the Kimmel Jimmy Kimmel said that was
even racist for Trump. He was like, that was the
most racist thing he's ever heard or seen. And you
know his base loved it.
Speaker 3 (01:18:42):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, you know, he wants people from Sweden,
didn't Mark and all those.
Speaker 2 (01:18:49):
Just get some good white people. You know that.
Speaker 3 (01:18:52):
You know, that's that's what he was saying. That's what
he was saying.
Speaker 13 (01:18:56):
Yeah, he's a lunatic, he's That's exactly what he was saying.
So but anyhow, Lincoln, I don't know if I'm gonna
get to do your toy thing. I'm doing some toy
things for the sorority. We got a whole bunch of stuff.
I heard your call out if I can make it.
It's just such a crazy busy time of the year.
Speaker 10 (01:19:12):
I can tell the run right now, I can tell.
Speaker 1 (01:19:14):
I can tell.
Speaker 13 (01:19:15):
But I heard you call my name, so you know
when you call.
Speaker 3 (01:19:19):
All right, Julie, thanks for your call, and tell Xavier.
Tell Xavier good luck and we'll hopefully I see him
on the field. What number? What number will he have?
Do you know what his number?
Speaker 13 (01:19:30):
I think he will be wearing number eighteen eighteen. Okay,
told me, yeah that he said he'll be wearing number
eighteen eighteen. All right, let's keep his fingers crossed.
Speaker 18 (01:19:38):
And yeah, he's a good young man, all right, Julie,
thanks for your calling.
Speaker 3 (01:19:42):
All right, all right, that's uh Julie Johnson. Look for
Xavier Johnson number eighteen with a Bengal uniform on Now
Cincinnati's own Xavier Johnson. H went straight to o'hiell State. Yeah,
went to Oldhouse state, you see, tried to recruiting, but
(01:20:06):
he didn't want to go to UC. Carry Combs was
my seventh grade math teacher. Well, Carry Combs is like
in a flux now, and what I'm gonna be able
to stay here or what? He just signed with Michigan
last week. He just signed to be their special teams
(01:20:28):
advisor or something he's doing with Michigan, and now he
don't know what the hell's happening. What the hell they
gonna do? Yep, I'm anxious to see who they will
(01:20:49):
get to replace any big name quarterback, I mean coaches
out there that's just been fired. Oh yeah, how about
getting the LSU coach up there? What's Kelly? How about Kelly?
Get Kelly up there at Michigan. He might go up there.
(01:21:11):
Who knows? Who knows what's happening in the world of
college football. I don't know who will be the national champs.
My money, I guess you might. You almost have to say,
it's going to be Ohio State. You've got to be
(01:21:34):
Ohio State unless Indiana is really that good. Yes, and
apparently they are pretty good. They beat Ohio State, so
we'll see, we'll see. But yeah, Brian Kelly is out there.
He would be a good coach to look at. He's
(01:21:57):
well known, be able to recruit some oh Man. Well,
late for break. Let's take a break and then we'll
come back. Twelve thirty the buzz well. Ron Dixon said
something about black females on the Facebook chat there and
I tried to get him to call in. And somebody say,
you can't bully people in the call in because I say,
(01:22:18):
some people are you know, they're big and bad behind
the keyboard, but when it comes to calling in and
letting your voice be heard, they're afraid. They don't become
they become cowards when they leave the keyboard.
Speaker 1 (01:22:35):
Apparently he's at work right now.
Speaker 3 (01:22:36):
I know he's at work, But can't you get a break.
We'll move you right up when you call, we'll get
right to you, mister Dixon. But Ron Dixon said that
the black men they go, they try to talk to
the black women, and the black women turn their nose
up at them, and this and that, and so then
(01:22:59):
they go and get in where they fit in with
the white woman. And so what he's saying is black
women shouldn't be upset of the black man when he
goes to a white woman, because you send him there.
It's pretty much what he's saying.
Speaker 1 (01:23:12):
Tell that black woman, boss of yours is, let you
have a break so you can call in, tell her
to get her foot off your neck.
Speaker 3 (01:23:18):
Yes, oh yeah, so he's at work, So if you
get a break, please call in and tell us what
you really mean. But is he true? Is he telling
the truth though? Five one, three, seven, four, nine, twelve
thirty ladies, is he telling the truth? You women?
Speaker 11 (01:23:41):
You know you.
Speaker 3 (01:23:43):
Turn your nose up at a good guy, you know
that doing great and wants to be a good father
if you ever have kids or whatever. And she said
the black women turn their nose up at him, And
he said, they just go get in where they fit it. Yes,
(01:24:06):
oh boy, but people talk plenty of smack behind that keyboard.
I will say that they say stuff behind the keyboard
that they would never they'd be too afraid to say
it out in the open. But behind that keyboard, they
get to give you. I'm not something about that keyboard
(01:24:26):
that gives people extra energy. I can just look at
some of the things people say on here. They have
extra they feel like boom boom bot and some of
the things people send on this chat it's just out
of control. But they wouldn't say that in public what
(01:24:48):
they say on the chat. They wouldn't. They wouldn't have
the courage to These little keys give people courage. All right,
let's see who's up. Jimmy, Hey, Jimmy, how you doing.
Speaker 15 (01:25:03):
Finally, Happy holidays to you and your family.
Speaker 3 (01:25:07):
Same to you, Thank you, thank you.
Speaker 15 (01:25:09):
I wanted to touch on this year confiscation about the
ship over there.
Speaker 10 (01:25:15):
And the oh yeah, yeah, yes, where was the ship headed?
Speaker 3 (01:25:21):
I think it was headed to? What did they say
that was headed? Oh man, where did they say that ship?
Speaker 15 (01:25:30):
Maybe Cuba somewhere.
Speaker 3 (01:25:31):
I don't I'm not sure where it was headed. I
don't think it was Cuba. But uh, I'm not sure
where it was headed. But there's a lot of oil on.
Speaker 2 (01:25:40):
There, and yeah, yeah, what you gonna do?
Speaker 3 (01:25:45):
And he didn't even know it. He didn't even know.
He said keep it. Maybe I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:25:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 15 (01:25:50):
Well, but he also said that uh Columbia is the
next uh country over there. That's he's getting ready to
And I see.
Speaker 3 (01:26:02):
That in Columbia they're gonna fight back. Let me tell
you they got a strong cortel over there.
Speaker 15 (01:26:10):
That's a big drug country over there, Columbia.
Speaker 3 (01:26:16):
Well yeah, I know it, and they've got the weapons,
and they're gonna fight back. It won't be as easy
there as it is here in Venezuela. Let me tell you, man,
I just.
Speaker 15 (01:26:27):
I was just thinking about Shiryan Moore. I can't get
over that. I tell you, man, that's a lot of money.
Speaker 20 (01:26:33):
He was making millions, yes, yes, and.
Speaker 3 (01:26:36):
It's all gone up in smoke, and I guess he
doesn't even want to live anymore.
Speaker 15 (01:26:41):
And so they said that he was a suicide yes.
Speaker 3 (01:26:46):
Yes, suicide watch yes wow Wow.
Speaker 7 (01:26:49):
Was he married?
Speaker 3 (01:26:51):
Yes? Three kids?
Speaker 15 (01:26:53):
Three kids are married, Yes, inappropriate relationship. He's messing around
to much, that's what they say. You know, that money
you're making, it's just hard to be committed to someone
because you got so many millions, you know.
Speaker 3 (01:27:07):
Yeah. Well look, hey, Jimmy, I'm out of time. I
gotta go appreciate your call.
Speaker 15 (01:27:12):
Okay, No, problem.
Speaker 3 (01:27:13):
All right, thanks Jimmy. Uh yeah, Jimmy says, uh, I
don't know, Ron Dixon. We're gonna delay the news just
to talk to you. Since you are to break, Ron Dixon,
I'm gonna be.
Speaker 1 (01:27:24):
Late for news.
Speaker 3 (01:27:24):
But since you had the courage to call in and
call me out there, you go. Now repeat to the
people on the air exactly what you said on the
Facebook page.
Speaker 10 (01:27:36):
I said the coach was wrong for what he did.
You know what I'm saying, he married and all that.
But anytime, uh, you know, guys try to talk the
sisters and things like that, they turn their nose up
my sisters. That's all I deal with his sisters. You
know what I'm saying. When when sisters some of them
(01:27:57):
see guys with white women, they like they got a
problem with it. I mean, you know, guys came up
and probably tried to talk to them or whatnot. You know,
you live and let live. You know. The first thing
of some sisters say you don't an't make enough money,
you ain't got no job, you know, things of that nature.
So that's all I'm saying. They can take it how
they want. They know it's true.
Speaker 7 (01:28:19):
So you know, it is what it is.
Speaker 10 (01:28:21):
I don't deal with white women all the sisters for me,
but it is what it is. You know, whatever float
your boat can't get mad about. They try to holler
at you and you turn your nose up it dude,
please go on here, it on so well with your look.
Speaker 1 (01:28:36):
You know, you know what it is.
Speaker 10 (01:28:38):
You know what it is. That's what I'm saying. And
then you know the first thing come out, a lot
of it. Now I deal with a man where we can.
I don't need no man. I could do this thing
them all. Yeah, yeah, you know they get them little rolls,
toys or whatever they play with. You know the whole Now,
all that going to that how they feel they know
(01:28:59):
what I'm saying is true?
Speaker 3 (01:29:02):
All right?
Speaker 10 (01:29:03):
What it is?
Speaker 3 (01:29:04):
Right? I tell you you the man, You the man.
You spoke it out on the air, So I take
all that stuff back then I said about you, how
about that respect? All right? Thanks for your car Ron Ron, Hey,
he put up, He didn't shut up. He put up.
