they have contracts with with the city and county and stuff.
They Oh boy, I tell you, I wish they would

Food trucks stay open till one o'clock. Eleven o'clock was ridiculous.
So now the food trucks can stay open on weekends.

can stay open.

And I told the mayor and the city manager and
eleven is a little early. I told them both that,
and I think they came to their senses and said, okay,
yeah we did. There was a knee jerk reaction, a
couple of fights broke out around the food trucks, and uh.

Yeah, so there you have it.

Did you hear about the woman that went into the
nursing rehab nursing home rehab?

She broke her ankle and the doctor.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Put a put her on, put a boot on her
and he told her, you know, wear this during the day,
but take it off at night.

Speaker 5 (05:51):
And you should be okay. So she gets to the rehab.

Nursing home and they never take the boot break off
of her ankle. The whole time she was there. We're
talking like sixty days or more. They never took it off.
Her foot got oh man, I don't know what they
call it, but it was swollen and they had to
amputate her leg up to the knee. They had to

amputate and it was only a little rehab visit to
the nursing home. None of the nurses ever checked to
take the brace off. They left it on for weeks
and maybe even a month or so, and now the
woman has to get her leg amputated up to the knee.

Brenda Roberts is her name. It's called the Cold Spring
Transitional Care Center.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
It's in Cold Springs, Kentucky. It's horrible what these nursing
homes would do. They don't care. You have to be
your own doctor, and you know your advocate for the
person that's in there, because you can't depend on them.

These nursing homes are virtually killing people.

Five one, three, seven, four, nine, twelve thirty your comments
on that one. But you go in with a broken ankle.
Doctor says, put this on, take it off at night,
you'll be okay. And nobody ever took took it off.
And they showed a picture of her ankle app you know,

before they amputated, and it was horrible. Looked like ganggreen
or something had set in. But they never took the
brakes off. She would sleep with that twenty four hours
a day, sat that on her Uh, never took it all,
never took it off, and now she's so Donald Trump

has pardoned the ex Colorado election official. Remember she let
she gave people access to the voting machines in Colorado.

She I wanted to make sure it was a fair election,
and these people were not supposed to have access to
the voting machines.

And she was.

Charged and sent to jail for like eight years, I think,
and Trump pardoned her. But guess what, this is a
state issue. His pardon will not work with her. She
stays in jail. She stays in jail. He can partner
only once, but this was a state charge, not a

federal charge.

And she stays in jail.

Donald Trump, of course, you know, they identified the person
who did the shooting down to Kentucky State, and they've
identified the.

Victim also the student that was killed.

And I'm hearing what I'm hearing, and they're saying the
two people that were shot were bullying his kids and
they were taking stuff from them and just doing everything,
and they couldn't get him to stop. So they called
the father said hey, they taking this and they're coming
up in our room taking stuff and bullying us. And

so he said, okay, look I'm coming up there.

Straighten this out.

So he goes up there and he confronts him and
then they start fighting and he shoots them, so hopefully
he might be able to If they were bullying and
doing all that stuff, I have no sympathy for him
if that's what they were doing. If that's what they
were doing. But like I said, say, nothing's confirmed yet.

These are just rumors coming out of the campus, so
we'll see.

Well, the Republicans did what I told you they were
gonna do. They voted down the extension for the Obamacare.
Remember they helped They went back and voted to.

Open up the government. The Republicans said, well, listen, we'll hear.
We'll sit down and talk.

I said, oh yeah, they're not gonna do anything but
sit down and listen.

They voted it down yesterday.

Some of the Republicans came over to the Democrat side,
but it wasn't enough. And I don't think they'll get
it passed before January first, because they go on vacation
next week and it doesn't look like this thing is
gonna pass. So, people with Obamacare, the Affordable Care Act,
your premiums are going up, oh boy, more than the

people's rent over at the Victory Vista. Yeah, your premiums
will be higher than the vic Vista folks, and speaking
of them.

Chen and Duke Way, was it not breaking the law
or doing anything wrong. The people in from the state
that gave him the tax breaks and everything said he
was within the guidelines, said he did nothing wrong by

raising their rents. They said it's a little excessive, but
it's not illegal, so you can't blame him for following
the law.

I guess in Duke Way has been cleared pretty much.

I know the residents over there didn't want to hear that,
but I still think there's help on the way for them.

But uh, they're saying.

The Ohio Housing Finance Agency, which has overseen a federal
tax break given to the owners when the structure was built,
ruled that rent hikes comply with federal guidelines.

Yeah, rent hikes, now read my lips.

Rent hikes comply with federal guidelines. So maybe it's back
to the drawing board for those residents over there. So
he hasn't violated any state laws. What about city laws?

I don't know. Like I said, the.

Mayor was fired up. I've never seen the mayor so
fired up over this thing. So we'll see what happens.
But Chinnan Duke Way did not break any federal guidelines.
Oh boy, Uh Indiana Republicans, I guess they do have

a conscience. You know, they were gonna readdistrict Indiana so that, uh,
every district was gonna be a Republican district. And some
of those Republicans voted against that. They they maybe they.

Had a heart. They were like, this is just not
fair what we're doing.

And uh uh they vote again. Now Trump is mad.
He's gonna primary, uh primary him. He's gonna send somebody
to run against him in the primaries because he's mad
because they turned their backs on him.

And that's how he does revenge. The revenge.

President Donald Trump gonna take revenge on Republicans that did
the right thing.

They know that was unfair, They did the right thing. Unbelievable.

Didn't you see the video it was on Instagram where
the guy saw this little six year old girl walking
to school.

I think it's up in was it Detroit?

The little six year old girl walking to school without
hat or gloves. It was cold and she had to
walk about ten blocks. She was walking by herself. This
guy sees her. He's so mad, where's her parents? Why
is she walking the school like this with no hat,
no gloves, and little shoes. You know, she had shoes on,
but they I don't think they were shoes for the weather,

And boy was he man. He followed her the school
told the school.

Officials come to find out if this is not the
first time that it happened. But he said he did
meet the father of the little girl. He said, we
had a man the man talk. I don't know what happened.

I don't know what he said to him, but he said,
we had a man the man talk.

But that was a good thing he did to make
sure the little He said, I was afraid to put
her in my truck and bring her to school, and
which it was a good idea because somebody would saying
he was trying to kidnap her.

So he did the smart thing there.

He said, I'll just walk with her to school to
make sure she gets there, saying anybody can stop and
pick her up or anything. So he did the right thing.
And there's not enough people out there who do the
right thing. But the hats off to that guy up
in Detroit that followed that little six year old girl
to school and to make sure she got there safely.

He said, ten blocks she had to walk by herself
in the cold, with no hat, no gloves or anything
like that.

Horrible.

These parents are so horrible nowadays. The guy leaves a
little girl at waffle house.

What the hell is wrong with you young parents nowadays?
And that kills me.

Well, a federal judge has told Donald Trump you can't
do this. They've ordered FEMA to restore billions of dollars
and canceled disaster mitigation funding.

Speaker 5 (16:08):
Yes, so once again Trump.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
You know, he was withholding funds from FEMA from especially
the Democratic States and the states that you know where
Ice was pretty much blocked, you know, but they say
you can't do that. You can't returning those billions of
dollars for disaster relief to those states.

Unbelievable. Donald Trump is a nutcase. Let me tell you.

Anybody that thinks that he's not, you're crazy too. You're
just as crazy as he is. Yeah, the Arms in
Dept Key Building, the Arms in Depth Key Building, you
know where the Jobs and Family Services is located right now? Well,
the city, i mean the county has sold that building.

I think they so it for how much would they
sell it for? Twelve point two million dollars? Twelve point
two million dollars. Jobs and Family services moving out of there,
of course, they're moving out to the old Mercy Health
not the old but the brand new Mercy Health facility

that they moved out of right there in bond Hill
and the having a got a veteran service commission. Thank god,
we're moving out there also and it should happen sometime
in January February, so looking forward to that move. But
they say they're gonna make apartments, there's gonna be some retail,

they're gonna put a rooftop event center up on the
top of the Ompton Deputy Building and say, yeah, they're
doing it. It's gonna They say they're gonna bring it
back to where it was in the nineteen early nineteen hundreds.

They're gonna restore it and bring it back.

So that's a lot of that's a big building, a
lot of rooms there, one hundred and fifty residential units
with two storefronts on the ground floor and a roof
top event space and a fitness room.

Lot more people downtown, which is what they want. I
didn't say anything about low income or affordable apartments.

They didn't mentioned that. They're no mention of that.

Of course, yesterday the county approved two hundred million dollars
in pay court stadium upgrades. And these are just upgrades
now up in Buffalo, their county. They put in two
hundred million. This is for a whole new stadium. They
put two hundred million in toward a whole new stadium.

In Buffalo. Our two hundred million goals for upgrades.

Be believable, a big old unbelievable. And you folks out
there in Mount Healthy, Mount Healthy, come on, you know.

You gotta support your school district.

They're talking about cutting out out sports in Mount Healthy
and all other activities, music and everything.

Because they just will not pass a tax levee.

Now they're talking about maybe a payroll tax levee increase
or or something else, but something's.

Got to be done out in Mount Healthy. Now.

I know a lot of those old folks who live
in Mount Healthy. They don't have kids, so they could
care less about the kids and the school system. Their
kids are up and.

Grown and they're gone.

They're living there barely holding on, uh, living in their
house before they go to the nursing home. And they
don't care anything about a Levey. They vote know every time.
But believe, if you got healthy school in your community,
it's gonna make the community healthier. You gotta support the
school system in your neighborhood. You gotta do that, folks

doctors to the age and. EVERYWHERE i just would like
to offer some advice for. People if you are going
to any kind of metical, appointments take somebody with you
so that you can understand what is going on and
always reach her after summary information that they give you

they don't know what's going on with their family.
