Speaker 2 (00:16):
Or powerful Lena.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
Look come out of.
Speaker 3 (00:20):
Hey.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Well believe tall buildings at a single down.
Speaker 4 (00:24):
I'm in the sky.
Speaker 5 (00:25):
It's a bird.
Speaker 6 (00:27):
Lincoln, Lincoln, Lincoln, so bingus Nana bengun feed by man
gun Lincoln.
Speaker 7 (00:34):
They say this cat Lincoln is a bad mother, but
you're talking about Lincoln. Good morning, Cincinnati. Welcome to twelve
thirty WDBZ. We are the buzz of Cincinnati, your talk station,
the Lincoln Ware Show till one o'clock this afternoon. It
(00:55):
is Wednesday, and there's a lot going on around the
Tried State, the nation, and the world. And let's start
with Taffed High School. First. They played Indian Hill last Friday,
and Indian Hill claims that they destroyed the locker room,
knocked holes in the dry wall, and I was gonna
(01:20):
believe that. I mean, they made some bad calls against
taff I Hear and taff Loss and I said, yeah,
you probably mad. You know, they shouldn't have let Indian
Hill beat them like that. And they probably was mad
and punching the walls and kicking walls. But then come
to find out there's a video of Tapped High School
(01:42):
football players walking into the locker room in their street
clothes and the timestamp was before the game started and
there were holes in the wall. Yeah, so who's lying
Are the young fellas out at Lincoln Height, I mean
(02:04):
Lincoln Heights Indian Hill? Are they lying on the football
players at Taff? Somebody is not telling the truth. Were
those holes there before TAFF showed up? It looks like
it to me, somebody's got some explaining to do, or,
as Ricky Ricardo would say, somebody's got some splaining to do.
(02:31):
And TAFF really never backed up the players for some reason.
I think Charie Poello from Channel five and she didn't
get you know, she got an answer like, well, we'll
look into it and we'll we'll pay for any damages.
Pretty much that public tool. They didn't try to defend
them or anything. Where were the coaches. The coaches had
(02:54):
to see this stuff. Where were they? So, yeah, we'll
we'll see what happened. But yeah, I thought the everybody's
saying that the refs uh was just you know how
they do well, you know, when it's a school from
(03:15):
the hood, comes out in the suburbs and play those refs,
don't they don't let them play. You know, they throwing
flags and or either it's basketball. They're calling fouls every
little touch. So yeah, they showed the video on Channel
five last night. I think Jay rodd Jay Rodger sent
(03:37):
they got him from his website and Shari Poelo looked
at the timestamp, she says, and it was before the
game started and the players were just coming in the
locker room in their street clothes. Why did I think
players dressed and got on the bus and went to
(03:59):
those players even like back in the day they used
to ride to the visiting school if they were going to,
uh be the visitor at the school, they would ride
in the bus with their uniforms on. Seemed like that's
what I remember. But apparently not Taff. They had their
street clothes on. So I don't know. Uh, I'm at
(04:24):
this point, I have to believe Indian Hill was lying
on TAP until I hear anything different. I gotta believe
they were lying on The kids are TAFF and somebody
needs to come forward down at TAFF and stick up
(04:47):
for these cats, cause I mean, that's that's that's you know,
that's not a good thing to be accused of, you
destroying you lost the game. Now you're going to destroy, uh,
destroy their locker room. That's not good. That's not good.
So hopefully they'll have some answers by later this afternoon,
(05:10):
and we'll have to check out Chari Pollello on Channel five.
That was pretty much the only station. I don't think
I saw it anywhere else. I didn't see it on twelve.
I didn't check nineteen or nine. Well anyway, so we'll see.
We'll see what happens. But that is that is horrible.
(05:34):
If they lied on those students down at Tafft High School,
and if you call the coach or the athletic director,
you know they're afraid to talk unless you know the school.
Let's the superintendent of somebody at the school board. Let
them talk, you know what I mean. I don't know
how much they're gonna say, but we'll see. Well, now
(05:57):
we wait on the president to sign the Epstein files,
the new law that was passed to release the files,
and we'll see what happens. But see, it just seems
to me Trump's got his people at the Department of Justice.
All he has to do is pick up the phone
(06:19):
and tell Bondy to go in there and take out
certain names. She's got to be able to get into
the files. They're in her department. See, I'm not gonna
trust what I see. I mean, and not dealing with
this Trump administration. These guys are stone crooks, they're Stone mafia.
(06:42):
They'll go mafia on you at any time. And so
I'm not. And now I heard they were gonna take
out all the Republican names and leave the Democrat names in.
I heard that. So you know, do you believe anything
that's gonna come out? And all of a sudden he's
(07:03):
all for it. You know, he fought it forever and
now just oh yeah, go ahead, pass it, outsign it.
So something just don't smell right about this stuff. But
we'll have to wait and see see if there's any
Republican names on there. And uh, you're not gonna tell
me you won't find any Republican names in those files.
(07:26):
They're the biggest freaks ever. Republicans are, yes, all right. Now.
Remember the other day I was telling you about those
two thousand dollars tariff dividend checks that Trump was gonna see,
and I said it'll probably be September, maybe October, where
(07:48):
everybody'll be happy when the election comes in November and
they'll vote for the Republicans now and then now Trump
he's he's set the date back to mid twenty twenty six.
First it was gonna first of the year. Now it's
mid twenty twenty six, and I think it's gonna be
closer to September October. If he sends those checks out,
(08:11):
he's gonna make sure you remember when you go to
the polls. Oh yeah, he's gonna make sure you remember.
So he's gonna have it close to the election. Well,
they finally are getting ready to break ground on the
Western Hills Viaduct. How long have I been preaching for this?
Speaker 3 (08:32):
You know?
Speaker 7 (08:33):
Oh boy? City council is expected to approve tens of
millions of dollars for the Western Hills Viaduct today, and
they got an update on the project yesterday. It's gonna
cost more than originally was quoted because they've been waiting
(08:54):
so long. What's been what's taking so long? The price
has gone up, price has gone up, and so now
it's gonna cause some more. But I don't think we'll
see a car go across the viduct. And I think
it was twenty twenty eight. I think twenty eight. It's
(09:15):
when they'll have have it up there. The shovel goes
into ground twenty twenty six, and we'll see what happens.
We will see what happens. But they've had to get
moving on that project for sure. I never heard of
(09:36):
this guy. I show speed. I guess the young the
young folks, who are you know on social media? He's
some big from Cincinnati, and I guess he's got millions
of viewers out there on his social media platform. Whether
the Bengals are gonna make him the King of the
(09:57):
jungle that's coming on this coming Sunday, Yeah, ruler of
the jungles what they call it. And he'll get out
there and he'll, you know, show out up there in
the little area there and then put the thing in
the ground. And yeah, but I never heard of I
(10:19):
show speed. You know, I show speed. I don't know
speed anyway, But everybody's supposed to know this guy. He
went to Pursell. Marion says he's got thirty nine point
seven million Instagram followers and forty three point four million
YouTube subscribers. That's what he says. So he's a bad dude.
(10:48):
He's a bad dude. Alice and Ellen Kessler, twin dancers.
They were dancing back boy in the forties and fifties.
They died at the age of eighty nine, and they
(11:10):
died by assistant suicide. Yeah, they were over in Where
were they in Germany? I think, yeah, in Germany. But
see over there, if you can say I don't want
to live like this, take me, you know, and they'll
do it over there. Here in America, they rather see
you suffer and they won't give you the medical care
(11:32):
you need and all that stuff, but they won't let
you die. Oh No, you're going to stay here and
suffer with the rest of us. I think at some point,
if a person does not want to live anymore, he
should be able to get assisted suicide he or she.
I just think that, yeah, so I'd like to get
(11:58):
your comments on that. Also at five, one, three, seven, four, nine,
twelve thirty. I just don't think God wants you to
stay here and suffer like that. People with the what
is it louke Ghrig's disease, you can't you know, you
can't barely talk, you can't move your body. You're just there.
(12:22):
You're just there, and somebody has to try to take
care of you and you're suffering. You should be able
to say I don't want to live, like this is
time to go, But now they want you here suffering
with the rest of us before you. God don't want
you to do that.
Speaker 8 (12:40):
I mean, you're alive, but you're not living right.
Speaker 7 (12:42):
No, Yeah, it's crazy. Well, we mentioned yesterday as we
were going off, Xavier and same, Xavier and Elder will
officially play down at pay Court Stadium. That matter of fact,
they just released twenty thousand tickets. At ten o'clock this morning.
(13:02):
Ten o'clock this morning, they released twenty thousand tickets. So
we'll see what's going to happen at that game tomorrow Friday, Friday.
So there you go, ten o'clock. They're on sale now.
And I think you can go to the Ohio Athletic
(13:24):
Association dot org to get those tickets. Yes, so there
you go. And I think, if I'm not mistaken, is
that gonna be one of the community people can get
that stadium. I think a couple of days out of
(13:46):
the year the Bengals have to give up that stadium
for community events for free, So this might be one
of those events. The Reds gave it up to the
veterans at the Veterans Appreciation Day a year ago down
at the Great American ball Park and it was free
because it was a community day. Thank you Alicia Reves
(14:08):
for bringing us up to date on that, making us
aware of that. A lisiha Reese. Yeah, a happy birthday
to Donna Jones Baker, former head of the Urban League
of Great Cincinnati in Southwestern How if you know Donna
Jones Baker, give her a call and tell a happy birthday? Yes,
(14:30):
all right? What else is going on? Is Jamar Chase's
spitting incident an example of lack of discipline on the
Bengals team. They're asking that question now, and it possibly is.
I don't know. We go through those stages on the
(14:51):
Bengal team where there's no discipline, you know, I don't
know why they're riding hiding, and they always take take
a nosedive and we'll be in this nosedive situation for
a few years for it takes us a few years
to come out. We'll see. All right, let's take a
(15:12):
break and then we'll come back five one, three, seven, four, nine,
twelve thirty link and we're with you till one on
twelve thirty the buzz and we got rain all day yesterday,
but it's gone and uh, we'll see what happens the
rest of the week. Let's go downtown to the Crime

Speaker 14 (18:46):
Oh?
Speaker 12 (18:46):
I heard my song man, definitely, and I heard y'all yesterday.
I'm in this special program right now, man, so it's
kind of taking up a lot of my time, but
you know what, I am not gonna stay far away
from my favorite radio stations, especially with the Trump supporters
(19:07):
still coming on the show, running their mouths and everything.
Speaker 7 (19:13):
Let them get in your head, Bill, you let him
get in your head. Twin is living rent free in
your head.
Speaker 15 (19:22):
That's what he wants to think. But you know what,
it ain't just him. It's too sweet.
Speaker 14 (19:27):
I had him a couple of.
Speaker 15 (19:28):
Weeks ago, and I just didn't want to comment. But
you know what, as long as you got now out
Joyce chasing the ass off the station, that'll be cool.
But I heard my song. I got my special request
right now, man, because I might not be able to
call Friday. So Stanley Clark and George Duke's, uh, sweet baby, can.

don't know, like eleven minutes long. Gee. I normally make
that my last song of the Hour which you never
get through. You know, it'll never you never hear the
whole song. But uh, I love that song. That's a
(20:28):
that was a great song by the Isley Brothers. Oh yeah, yeah,
all right? Uh five, one, three, seven, four, nine, twelve
thirty and workers called in, No ten thousand dollars bonus
checks were handing out. Just another line from Christine Nome.
That's what somebody was saying on the Urban Urban View
(20:53):
one hundred and twenty six TSA. Workers called in and
no ten thousand dollars bonus checks. I was wondering how
she made that happen like that, And then she had
the nerve to have the envelopes passing it out to people.
She didn't even know their name. She was giving them envelopes,
what you know, and she didn't you know, how did
(21:15):
she know who she was giving the envelopes to? Whose
name was the checks made out to? She's just passing
out envelopes. Unbelievable, Miss Naddy. How in the hell are
you today?
Speaker 4 (21:26):
I am doing good greedy to you from Lincoln Heights.
Speaker 7 (21:30):

my god, the vigilantes were going to get my brother.
Speaker 7 (22:15):
Wait wait, wait, hold on, back up, slow down. What
do you mean what happened to Charlie Winburn out in
Lincoln Heights?
Speaker 4 (22:23):
Okay, it was a lot of vigilantes front car, back car,
every Oh my god. Charles surprised me and bought a
little something from Melon and I thanksgiving right right, Oh
my god. And I've seen the cars out here and
the trucks. Oh my god, I just thought that. Hey,
(22:45):
I didn't tell my brother, but from now on I

Speaker 7 (22:52):
Well, what I mean, what did they do to him?
Speaker 4 (22:55):
What they do to him? They back to pay. They
had the front and the back. Oh my god, he
couldn't get around, she said he had to turn around.
Oh my, just you had a scene. If you'd have seen.
Speaker 7 (23:08):
Well, I mean, did they think he was coming in
the Lincoln Heights to start trouble or what?
Speaker 18 (23:12):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (23:13):
I don't know. Did they have the gun that one
of the council people don't like, Charlie?
Speaker 7 (23:19):
Did they have their guns?
Speaker 4 (23:21):

Speaker 7 (23:24):
Oh boy, all right, well.
Speaker 4 (23:27):
God well oh and I've been married at least once.
Can you dig it?
Speaker 7 (23:32):
I can dig it. I can do it.
Speaker 4 (23:34):
And mister Melvine bliss his heart. He lost his will
or his wife, Yes, about a few weeks ago. But
I well, I divorced my husband, but I also had
his pen off.
Speaker 7 (23:45):
So you're divorced. His wife passed away, so you're neither
one of your living in sin anymore.
Speaker 4 (23:52):
Well, we're not sinning. I'm not sleeping. Can you dig.
Speaker 18 (24:00):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (24:00):
I love you, sister friends, rest soul. Oh lord, she
is so beautiful.

don't care what you.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
Say about me, all right, not that.
Speaker 7 (24:23):
Thanks for your call. Unbelievable, Brent, Debbie coming up. Miss
Nettie's line is available if the Vigilantis won't get you
if you jump on it at five, one, three, seven, four, nine,
twelve thirty Lincoln, We're with you on twelve thirty the
Buzz Station, A little bit of the Ohio Players. Yes,
had the best album covers of the seventies. I'm telling
(24:45):
you they had some great album covers, the Ohio Players. Uh,
they say, Hakeem Jeffrey's campaign sought money from Epstein. So
now here they go, here they go. Uh they started already.
Speaker 8 (25:04):
Then again, if they're changing names in these files, you
never know who's right. Yeah, what's really going on?
Speaker 7 (25:11):
So here we go.
Speaker 8 (25:12):
But he's not messing with any underageed children.
Speaker 7 (25:14):
There you go. I know all he wanted with some money,
you know, all right, Brent? What's going on?
Speaker 19 (25:21):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (25:21):
Nothing much, Uncle Lincoln.
Speaker 16 (25:23):
How you doing.
Speaker 7 (25:24):
I'm hanging in there. What's going on with you?
Speaker 1 (25:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (25:27):
Now, why do you say the Ohio Players had the
best album covers during the seventies.
Speaker 7 (25:32):
Yeah, they did.
Speaker 5 (25:34):
For what reason.
Speaker 7 (25:36):
You tell me?
Speaker 1 (25:37):
I don't know.
Speaker 12 (25:39):
That's right.
Speaker 7 (25:41):
Yeah, you weren't a kid. Well they had thinly clad
ladies on the cover with honey pouring honey on them.
Speaker 5 (25:49):
All that covers? All right, that makes sense.
Speaker 7 (25:53):
Now you just wanted to hear me say that. That's
all you knew? What kind of covers?
Speaker 5 (26:01):
Hey, I just want you to that's you.
Speaker 7 (26:04):
I was born at night, but not last night.
Speaker 5 (26:07):
Yeah yeah, oh man, a few different things. I just
need some clarification on the last item here. But Stepan
yesterday was talking with yesterday Monday, I can't remember. He's
talking about the way to eliminate crime is to get
the snitches to snitch more. Did I understand that?
Speaker 18 (26:24):
Correct?
Speaker 20 (26:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (26:24):
Somebody said that. Whoo who's that said that?
Speaker 5 (26:27):
I think that was the finest Yeah.
Speaker 7 (26:29):
I think he did. Yeah, yeah, that was because.
Speaker 5 (26:31):
Of the money that they're getting paid. They need to
snitch more. Man, See if they snitched more and they
don't want to snitch on the real posts, they don't
want to switch an on the wrong posts and get
them incarcerated unjustly. So hopefully that's not the case there.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
But you know, a part of what Trump is.
Speaker 5 (26:51):
Doing PBS you know, they had finally gotten that. I
think they did it over the summer defunding TBS and
with that that everything from the Electric Company you know,
which I grew up on, to Sesame Street to all
of the documentaries that they did with black folks, whether
it's from All Lead to Eyes on the Prize. I
(27:13):
think that's that's where I first saw Eyes on the.
Speaker 7 (27:16):
Prize and Prams on PBS for sure.
Speaker 5 (27:19):
I mean, yeah, yeah, but that's all to number one,
keep us ignorant and keep white folks ignorant too, so
they can always say, well, black folks didn't do anything
because they're not teaching it. I can teach in the
school and the avenues that they can learn it. They're
not gonna learn it because those things aren't going to
(27:40):
exist anymore. But yeah, but yesterday you had oh you
were you were played that clip from Eli Musk Dance.
Oh god, yeah, it was something else. But you had
a Freudian slip where you called them leon. But then
(28:00):
you said she's acting he's acting like a leon. And
I don't know if that's an old school you know,
one of the baby boomer says, what does it mean
to act like a leader?
Speaker 7 (28:09):
I just said that. It was just something to say, Brent,
don't don't split hairs, Brent, why.
Speaker 5 (28:16):
He's acting like a chip or or something like that.
Speaker 19 (28:22):
But Leon, it's not that serious.
Speaker 7 (28:25):
It's not that serious, uh, Brent? Really not all right?
Speaker 18 (28:30):
All right?
Speaker 5 (28:31):
I just wanted to make sure because that just came
out of came out of nowhere, all right, and it
had not only me, but a lot of us online
trying to figure out what the world did you mean
by that?
Speaker 20 (28:40):
Nothing?
Speaker 7 (28:41):
Nothing, It was just I was just letting stuff roll
off my tongue.
Speaker 20 (28:44):
Nothing.
Speaker 5 (28:45):
Next time, he keeps some of your good white friends
names in your in your mouth so you can mention
my names like the Butler County shrif uhs taking the
crackle barrow.
Speaker 7 (28:54):
Yet not yet. I gotta give him a call and
set up when I wanted to come up there. Yeah,
that lunch is on him, but I got to go
to Butler County to get it. Is this some kind
of setup? Then he set me up. He's gonna have
ice waiting on me. I gotta go Bridge. Thanks for
your call. All right. We've got Dan from Tafft High School.
(29:16):
We got Lin said she's got a lady. I mean lady.
She's got a man for lady. C.
Speaker 8 (29:22):
Dan just wants to talk about taff High School.
Speaker 7 (29:24):
Oh okay, okay. I thought he went to Taffa he
knew something about the situation down there. But yeah, Jay
Rodger had a video on Facebook on his Facebook page
that showed the holes in the drywall before the game
even started, before the game started, and we haven't heard
(29:49):
any pushback from taff saying we didn't do it. We
didn't do it. So I don't know what the deal is.
They were on Channel five. Well, Sharie Poello showed the
video last night on Channel five and they said they
were going to talk to somebody today. So I guess
on the four or five o'clock news today we might
(30:10):
have some answers. I don't know. All right, let's go
to uh Dan, then Lynn, Debbie and LG. Dan. How
are you.
Speaker 14 (30:20):
Dan?
Speaker 7 (30:22):
Hey? Dan, Dan's got his speaker on and I don't
know what he's doing. Dan going once twice. I gotta
go Dan. All right, Let's go to Lynn, Lynn, how
are you?
Speaker 21 (30:36):
I'm doing pretty good? Hadn't I bought a lottery tickets yet?
Speaker 3 (30:39):
Oh?
Speaker 22 (30:40):
I go out?
Speaker 7 (30:41):
Well, you can buy one almost every day of the
week they have a drawing, except maybe Thursday. Thursday is
really the only night that they don't have a drawing.
They have one. On Monday they have a mega, Tuesday
they have the Power, Wednesday they have Thursday is really
the only day they don't have a lottery.
Speaker 21 (31:01):
My late dad, my late dad, who lived in Atlanta, Georgia,
he bought lottery, took us every day.
Speaker 7 (31:07):
Did he ever win?
Speaker 21 (31:09):
Yes, I said, Dad, that sounds like a g D job.
But I don't want a job. Yes, but anyway, I called, Yeah, lady,
c they I'm married. I am quote happily married at
the moment.
Speaker 7 (31:27):
At the moment.
Speaker 21 (31:27):
Yeah, he messes up sometimes, Oh boy, Yes, but being
married is more than it's a joke. Right, Being married
is not easy.
Speaker 7 (31:40):
It's not easy. But I don't know if it's But
it's not easy. Yes, you do have to make compromises.
Speaker 1 (31:47):
Yes, it's not what you want.
Speaker 21 (31:49):
What she wants is what the two of you want.
You have to agree upon it. I cannot buy this
sofa I want because he doesn't like it. So we
have to find a sofa, yeah that we both can
live with.
Speaker 7 (32:01):
Yes, you sound like you might be hard to get
along with. Though you sound like you would be hard
to get along with.
Speaker 21 (32:09):
It's my husband.
Speaker 7 (32:10):
Yeah right, that's what they all say. It's always the
other person.
Speaker 21 (32:12):
So I'm a virgo, but I'm not a perfectionist. Yeah,
he's a libra. He's a perfectionist.
Speaker 7 (32:18):
Oh boy.
Speaker 21 (32:19):
We cannot go to family gathers because he does not
like my relatives. I can go by myself, but he's
not going.
Speaker 7 (32:26):
See well, see I get along. We're get with most
of Sharon's relatives, so I don't have that problem. She
gets along with all of mine. I get along with
most of hers. There might be two or three that.
Speaker 21 (32:41):
You know, right, I can do that, yeah, two or three. Yeah,
But my relatives on my dad's side, it could be
on my mother's side too. My dad's their size. They
are drug dealers. Oh boy, they are poor ghetto people.
Oh they're trying to rip people off. Yes, they'll rip
(33:01):
off anybody. They'll steal from you. Oh man, they have
criminal records.
Speaker 7 (33:06):
Okay, So I mean do we well and so? But
you're still with them, right?
Speaker 14 (33:11):
So yeah, that's my.
Speaker 21 (33:12):
Relative, that's yours.
Speaker 7 (33:14):
He's still with you.
Speaker 21 (33:15):
He's still with you with all that because he won't
go he knows, and he'll go partying with them.
Speaker 7 (33:23):
Yeah he likes okay, maybe he likes them. Okay, so
maybe you just don't like your own free.
Speaker 21 (33:28):
People, right, and I stay away from them.
Speaker 7 (33:30):
Oh boy, and your husband drugs.
Speaker 21 (33:33):
You don't want to be ripped off. They've never done
a ged thing for me, no boy, but they don't
mind calling asking me to do them a favor. Oh boy,
but I put my foot down. That's what grandmother used
to say. Yeah, anyway, has something to do with Lady
C dating advice.
Speaker 7 (33:51):
I don't know if you write one for that, but
let's hear.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
The little man.
Speaker 21 (33:55):
We've been married over twenty years, all right, okay, okay,
what what is your advice, Lady C? My advice is
be careful what you wish for. You just might get it. Okay,
So she wants a man, she might get a man,
and then she's going to decide why didn't I want
a man? I was better off with Donnie boy, I
(34:16):
only attracted.
Speaker 7 (34:21):
I'm glad you cleared that up.
Speaker 21 (34:24):
Well that's some issuest with him too, but I can
live with him.
Speaker 7 (34:27):
Oh boy, you sound like you would be You wouldn't
be an easy person to live with. Either land. I'm
gonna just tell you the truth. I'm glad you realize that.
Speaker 21 (34:36):
But I'm easier than he is.
Speaker 7 (34:38):
Okay, all right.
Speaker 21 (34:39):
Okay, But has she done dating websites?
Speaker 7 (34:42):
I know, I don't think so. I think she's just
going to meet somebody on the humble.
Speaker 21 (34:46):
Well that gets you into trouble, you know, about meeting
somebody on the humble.
Speaker 7 (34:51):
All right, I gotta go, you too, And uh, don't
be so mean to your husband, you.
Speaker 3 (34:58):
Know, to keep.
Speaker 7 (35:02):
Let him socialize with your criminal.
Speaker 21 (35:04):
Family as long as they don't make him a criminal
to go.
Speaker 7 (35:09):
Thanks for your call. Unbelievable. Let's take a break, LG.
You're up on the other side. Twelve thirty the buzz.
Did you see the Carolina players with the deputy Chare
pushed them and act like he was gonna rest them
on the field. I mean, they scored a touchdown. They
ran up in the tunnel, about four of them, four
(35:30):
or five of them, and then they turned around. Was
walking back and this guy's gonna walk between them, like
you're gonna move out the way for me, and they
didn't move, and he bumped them. The players bumped him,
and he got mad, turned around pointing his finger at him,
yelling at him. I'm like, this was in Texas. He
was in Texas. These cats. Now, if he's acting like
(35:54):
that on the you know, when fifty thousand cameras are
on him, how do you think he's gonna act if
he pulls you over on a dark street one night
you're a black man, how do you think he's gonna act?
Because they were all black players who he bumped into.
Speaker 8 (36:11):
I'm pretty sure he's destroyed a lot of black folks
lives down there in Texas. I'm pretty sure. And nobody
knows nothing about it because he's the only one witness
there that is reliable court you know. So yeah, I
don't telling how many people he's destroyed down there.
Speaker 7 (36:26):
Yeah, that was man the Carolina t was it?
Speaker 18 (36:30):
Uh?
Speaker 7 (36:31):
Texas A and M game? I think it was. But
he was like, man, all right, let's go to LG LG.
What's on your mag of mind today?
Speaker 1 (36:45):
See there you go?
Speaker 14 (36:50):
That's crazy, Like I just want people to use common sense.
All right, that's it.
Speaker 1 (36:58):
Now let's look at tabs history.
Speaker 12 (37:01):
All right.
Speaker 14 (37:01):
First off, I'm not saying of tab I'm gonna say
a want of Hi was high school every other high
school is h are degenerous and nay pumping.
Speaker 7 (37:10):
But like what yeah, see, that's what I'm like, the
mag of mine. That's a Maga.
Speaker 14 (37:16):
Magran mindset, right And Wader Hill is probably one of
the most liberal high schools out here in the country.
Speaker 1 (37:20):
But you calling me bag of mine's crazy?
Speaker 14 (37:22):
Anyway, I ain't gonna love the task.
Speaker 1 (37:24):
But here's the thing.
Speaker 14 (37:25):
Remember last year.
Speaker 7 (37:26):
Well but if you know, if they didn't do it,
then they shouldn't be blamed for doing it.
Speaker 14 (37:31):
Well, okay, I agree with that. I'm not saying playing
folks for something you do. But let's check out what's
going on. Last year Renwood Taff had to play Mount
Healthy in football. Yep, only parents.
Speaker 20 (37:46):
I remember, it wasn't.
Speaker 14 (37:47):
Let remember that ain't ain't nobody else in their parents
because of stuff that be going on down there all
right here before.
Speaker 7 (37:55):
But that wasn't necessarily tap this was at wasn't Mount
Healthy North College, YIL And this this was at that
was the shooting.
Speaker 14 (38:03):
There was a shooting at TAFF. The student that got
shot in the arm, not during the game.
Speaker 7 (38:08):
Yeah, okay, all right, all right.
Speaker 14 (38:10):
But they but they restricted the game to parents, all right.
Then the year before went Taff and Wolver had that
big fight. They had to restrict that the parents only.
This is a pattern. Like, here's the thing, Like if
Jay Rodgers put on a video, people need to ask
where you get the video from. He didn't do the video.
He wasn't tap locker.
Speaker 7 (38:30):
Room, right, yeah, right, they got it from a coach.
I think it was from a coach.
Speaker 14 (38:36):
Well, why why the coach ain't not here saying.
Speaker 7 (38:38):
Well, because you know they they limited to what they
can say, you know, they keep she needs to say something.
Maybe yes, the thing.
Speaker 14 (38:48):
Did you see the statement that they put out though, yes,
I saw that.
Speaker 7 (38:51):
They was like they were saying they they were admitting
to doing it almost.
Speaker 14 (38:55):
So here's what I'm saying, Like, let's not just say oh,
they do it because black or whatever like that. I
don't even care about Javar's video. Jav just hit the video.
If the coach took the video and it was holes
in there before that, because Seoan Murky could show the videos,
you know, it came from a coach that worked for her,
they'd be like, this is the video from our coach.
It'd be like this kids didn't do this stuff.
Speaker 7 (39:16):
Well, I think by the end of today, you're gonna
hear a different statement coming out of CPS.
Speaker 14 (39:23):
I don't know. I don't know why I'm gonna here
from CPS. I know Indian Hills stated is that they're
working with his Dame Public Schools to fix the damn right.
Speaker 7 (39:29):
Right, they did that, right, they said that. But see
was the damage already there. That's what we're trying to prove.
Speaker 14 (39:37):
How many how many since day public schools is Indian
Hill play? They don't play. I only know because my
nephew played at Wyoming, which, by the way, beat twice
and be half twice about to the state a couple
of years ago, A couple.
Speaker 7 (39:50):
Of years ago, I'm talking about now we're talking about now, Okay,
who was the last team to play Indian Hill and
to lose to Indian Hill. Who was the last team
other than tav to play out there.
Speaker 14 (40:03):
It would be somebody from the CHL It would be
somebody like either Lackland, Wyoming. It will be uh uh,
the Suburbanian schools, basically the smallest Bourbian schools would be
the last schools out there to do that. Now you're
telling me all of a sudden they gonna let that
go for four weeks and wait until TAF get there
and blame TAFF It makes I don't know.
Speaker 7 (40:25):
I just don't know.
Speaker 14 (40:26):
I don't know they're gonna wait a month. I mean
they're people, understand, folks support Taffa saying this supposedly happened
like a month ago. All right, these holes in a while.
Why would they wait till TAB get there and say,
you know, hey, we're gonna report to the rangers. We're
gonna say, hey, TAV did this. Why would they do that?
(40:47):
What the wow?
Speaker 7 (40:48):
I don't that's what That's what we need to find out.
Speaker 14 (40:51):
We need to find that out too.
Speaker 7 (40:53):
If TAF did it, they need to own up to it.
If they didn't, they don't need to be blamed for it.
Speaker 14 (40:58):
But what I'm saying is that who's who the school
board members who are elected people. Nobody said nothing, the
superintendency not saying nothing, Indian Hills out there saying they
did it, and they're working with CPS to fix it.
And CPS is not denying that.
Speaker 7 (41:13):
They're fifty now, well they're not. They're not denying it.
So I don't know. I think this video might open
some eyes and then they might take another look at it.
Speaker 14 (41:23):
Well, we don't know who did the video though, just
because Jay Rods put it out there, don't meet that
we know that.
Speaker 7 (41:27):
Well, maybe I'll call j Rodger and see what he
has to say.
Speaker 1 (41:30):
How about that, Well he's.
Speaker 14 (41:31):
Not he's not the source he did the video, right,
he got it from somebody else. So you did talk
to somebody who did the video the quote.
Speaker 7 (41:39):
They quoted him on Channel five last night and they
said they got the video from him.
Speaker 1 (41:44):
But what point is he didn't create the video?
Speaker 7 (41:47):
I know?
Speaker 14 (41:48):
So about point is it's not authenticated.
Speaker 7 (41:51):
Well, we'll see. I'll talk to him. LG. Stop blaming
Taff until you get that.
Speaker 14 (41:58):
True TAF being Taff. It's a dumster.
Speaker 7 (42:01):
Hope, thanks for your call. I'm believing, like I say,
what's going on in the magamine of LG. Let's break
the news. Kirkland Gil Gil has a comment on tap.
William Kirkland coming up right here on twelve thirty the buzz.
Hopefully we'll hear from him. And somebody said Channel twelve
(42:26):
Local twelve said a coach said damage was there when
they arrived. A coach said that, and coaches are in
the locker rooms, so we'll see. We'll see. All right,
(42:48):
let's go to the Honorable William Kirkland. How you doing,
brother Kirkland. What's going on?
Speaker 19 (42:54):
Hey Lincoln, I'm doing fantastic, agreeeding to the audience. I
didn't hear Stefan our list every day, but I didn't
hear Stefan yesterday or whenever talking to Yes I did,
I did hear it. I heard it about the snitching.
I think one of the things we have to do
is watch our language.
Speaker 3 (43:12):
Right.
Speaker 18 (43:13):
A lady told.
Speaker 16 (43:14):
Me about ten years ago.
Speaker 19 (43:17):
And bond Hill at a meeting on violence stopped the violence,
and they were saying they wanted people to come forward
to give information on the murders that was going on
in the community. And she told me, she said, witnessing
ain't snitching, it's witnessing. I don't remember the lady's name.
(43:38):
She's a community activist, so't I can't take credit for it,
but I've been saying it for ten years, right, And
we have to make a distinction, and we used to
make a distinction between ratting and snitching.
Speaker 1 (43:54):
If you commit.
Speaker 19 (43:55):
An act of force and violence in front of me,
you make me a witness. If me and you commit
a crime together, and I tell on you that's me
riting or stitching. It's more writing than stitching. Or if
I'm doing all kind of wrong and they and I'm
(44:17):
trying to cut a deal, you know, with the system,
and I tell on people that they got no ideal
about that's also writing. But the point is we seem
to have a love affair with people who are killing
us and committing criminal actions.
Speaker 1 (44:36):
And we are sick.
Speaker 19 (44:39):
If you come to me and tell me anything about again,
acts of force and violence, even if I don't see it,
I'm gonna try and get as much information I can
to tell on you to put your ass behind bars
because you have no respect for the for authority.
Speaker 7 (45:00):
And we have people to at We have people that
shoot people and they know who shot them, and they
still won't tell who shot them.
Speaker 19 (45:08):
And Lincoln, if the system cared or the mayor, whoever
the mayor would be, if you got one hundred people,
that's witnessing. Again. I keep saying, acts of force and violence.
Put a curfew on that community, the same way you
do Fountain Square, the Banks and Short Vine. And if
(45:31):
you ain't got a job, if you ain't going to work,
if you ain't going to the hospital. If you ain't
taking your children.
Speaker 1 (45:36):
To it from school.
Speaker 2 (45:38):
You put a down curfew on that community.
Speaker 19 (45:40):
And we can stop this because we have the same way.
We put a value and a monetary price of police
killing African Americans.
Speaker 18 (45:50):
We can do that in.
Speaker 19 (45:51):
Our community, and we all.
Speaker 16 (45:53):
Are to be armed.
Speaker 19 (45:54):
I ain't afraid of no other human on the planet.
If I tell on you, I'm a stand up and
boldly tell on you because you aren't killing god community.
We gotta put a value on black life.
Speaker 7 (46:07):
All right, thanks for your called brother Kirkland, the honorable
William Kirkland. Yes, I don't know how he ever got
that mone cure. Why do we ever start saying he
used to call himself that? So I think that's how
we picked it up. He called himself the honorable William Kirkland.
That's where it came from. All right, let's go to
gil Gil. What's up?
Speaker 2 (46:29):
Hey Lincoln? Hey, I got to serve video of that
locker room when taff arrived. I'm an email her tell
you if you won't.
Speaker 7 (46:37):
I mean, is it the same one? Is it the same.
Speaker 1 (46:42):
One out there?
Speaker 2 (46:44):
I don't know, I haven't seen that. I was Someone
sent me this video. Last night, sen I got comments
on Facebook where supposedly an assistant coach said Don Holmes
was there week six when they played Indian Hill and
this is a guy from Fennytown. I don't know how
it is. I'm just saying they need to investigate before
they we say they want to throw a tariff under
(47:06):
the bast of throwing mends dysfunctional kids, how they're trying
to portray it. Yes, and before I go, LG, if
you want to meet at Taraff and you say that
tariff where if it just came out of your mouth,
I can meet you there in twenty minutes.
Speaker 7 (47:20):
Thanks for your call, Gil, All right, Okay, Gil is
a little fired up. LG had no right to say that.
Speaker 8 (47:29):
Uh, Gil, call me back and I'm gonna give you
my email address.
Speaker 7 (47:32):
All right, Gil, call back and you can send him
the video. But it's probably the same video that's out there,
but you never know, it could be some extra, who knows.
Speaker 8 (47:43):
I'll take a look at it.
Speaker 7 (47:43):
Yes, all right, let's go to Dwayne. Dwayne, how are you, hey?
Speaker 18 (47:48):
Rincoln? I'm good, Budon just what I want to call
and say, Lincoln? Yes, Uh, whatever happens, We're gonna find
out what's happened. If we are liable for what we
we're gonna take care of the Lincoln. Can we put
the energy in to the success that we're having down
(48:09):
in town?
Speaker 7 (48:10):
Yeah, I mean, I mean what was that the regional semifinals?
What was that they were in?
Speaker 18 (48:20):
And listen, listen, you me and you talk all the time.
Look at this man, this guy, our coach, has changed
a tradition when we talk about brands. You know how
it used to be me and you went to public school.
Everybody talked about the public school. Yes, yes, has a
brand now and we're gonna represent that brand and let
(48:41):
people know that if we're responsible, we're gonna step up,
take can do whatever we want to. If we didn't
do it, then don't make this shame.
Speaker 2 (48:54):
Our good success.
Speaker 18 (48:56):
Yes, yes, because he did successful down the task and
I'm tired of people talking and down in us we're
not doing our right, including that guy. For want of hell,
yeah you're wanting.
Speaker 7 (49:10):
Here, Well, he's maga. He's maga. So you can talk
like that all up Lincoln.
Speaker 18 (49:15):
You don't wait them people out there up at a
different time. He working all up at the same Lincoln, man,
I love you, but I'm tired of people bashing my community. Yes,
my kids come down here and work with me, help
and do the things. Let's come down here and tell
(49:37):
our kids how great of a job that they're doing,
that they're going to d want colleges, that they ain't
coming back home atter Thanksgiving, that Tyler's doing a great job,
that administration is doing a great job down there. Let's
take fifteen minutes and come to our next game that
ship when we're in the tournament. Let me see everybody
who calling it to come out and support our kids
(50:00):
and do standing at the locker room door when they
walked in there the other night.
Speaker 7 (50:05):
At when did you go to the game Friday? Were
you there at the game?
Speaker 18 (50:11):
So so let me tell you, and I take responsibility
as well as other adults should take responsibility. I was
better at the school, getting the buses going everywhere. I
had other things to do. This my point, Lincold, whether
I was there or not, Lincoln, when that team went
in that locker room, we should have been there to
support them kids. When I say us, I mean all adults.
Speaker 7 (50:35):
Adults can't go in the locker room.
Speaker 18 (50:37):
But no, no, no, no, gotta go in.
Speaker 7 (50:40):
The locker room.
Speaker 18 (50:41):
You can stand by the fifth when the kids are
going in there, and then somebody should have been in
the locker room.
Speaker 12 (50:49):
I'm just keeping it real.
Speaker 18 (50:50):
With you, because now you got kids that they've been
holding their feelings all season long, and now they lose
a ball game and they walk in the locker room
that already have holes in the wall. I'm not saying
they done it. I'm not saying that, but if they did,
we gonna take responsibility. Yeah, and we go to a podjact.
But don't please don't go for these smoking mirrors.
Speaker 7 (51:13):
Yeah, I hear you.
Speaker 18 (51:15):
I said, we got what we're doing.
Speaker 7 (51:17):
We gotta hear from some coaches at tav uh to
tell us what they actually saw when they walked in there.
Uh before the game started.
Speaker 18 (51:26):
Well, Lincoln, let me say this to you, because you
know politics, sometimes people hairs are tied.
Speaker 3 (51:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (51:33):
Well I know, yeah, I know. That's what I was
telling people. The coaches, uh, and then the athletic director
just can't come out and start speaking. You know, they
got to get approval first. So let's hope we get
something from CPS UH real soon.
Speaker 18 (51:48):
Hey, brother, listen at this smoke the mirrors when the
when the air clear, we're gonna see what's really going on. Yes,
it's about it's about trust and spirit, and Lincoln'm gonna
let you go after this. You know what I know.
Maama used to say, sit down at the table, sir.
If you're responsible for that, you take ability, you apologize
(52:11):
and you'll go with Yehause, sir, you're a beautiful son.
Speaker 7 (52:16):
All right?
Speaker 18 (52:16):
What we need to be telling.
Speaker 7 (52:17):
Like Dwayne, appreciate you called Dwayne. Thanks? All right, all right,
that's Dwayne, and uh he's fired up. He is fired up. Uh,
but he's right if they did it, Okay, apologize and
move on. Move on. All right, Let's go to Jay
(52:41):
Wright and he's never wrong. How you doing, Jay Wright?
Speaker 5 (52:45):
Lincoln?
Speaker 14 (52:46):
Where my man one hundred?
Speaker 1 (52:47):
Let me get you off the speaker respectfully, sir, How
you doing?
Speaker 7 (52:51):
I'm hanging in there. What's going on?
Speaker 1 (52:53):
Thank you sir for being in the studio before Winny
Further Lincoln, Uh is LG. White?
Speaker 7 (53:00):
Maybe he wants to be. I'm not sure you know
he's not, but maybe he wants to be. He wants
to be Maga.
Speaker 1 (53:06):
Okay, okay, because you know I when I lived there
doing thirteen years I lived there, man back in two
thousand and one, I think two thousand and two. I
believe I ut Taffed was the school. I mentor for
UH and Anthony Smith was was a was the principal
at the time. And this was all before even Mike
got there and even got that football team estabished. Because
(53:27):
when I was there, when I was a mentor in Attack,
they didn't even have a football program. That's just how
bad it was. Right, But again, you can't put a
school down that's in the black community and think that
it's okay.
Speaker 12 (53:41):
LG.
Speaker 1 (53:41):
You sound like a white man, Lincoln. I got the
solution to crime, okay, and the solution is to make
jail harder and tougher. Jail is too easy. It is
obviously too easy. It's too comfortable. Because why a guy's
so why why was that somebody repeat offenders? Then the
(54:04):
reason is because jail is not hard enough. Imagine, imagine
if Jay Wright was the war You come to my jail,
I'll work your ass seventeen and a half hours a day,
and I guarantee you would not want to come back.
I'm not going to make it comfortable for you. Right,
Jail is just too easy. And what happens is that
repeat offenders say, Okay, well I can do a bed.
(54:26):
I can like like dumb conversations like Sean one of your.
Speaker 18 (54:29):
Callers have, or I did a bed I did.
Speaker 1 (54:31):
Just you make it sound too easy.
Speaker 3 (54:32):
Jail are too comfortable, Yes, too comfortable.
Speaker 7 (54:35):
In some cases it might be, and no other cases.
You know, some of the prisoners in there could make
it uncomfortable for you. You know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (54:44):
Guess what if I work your ass seventeen and a
half hours a day, you ain't got time to.
Speaker 12 (54:47):
Be thick about committing Wow, I.
Speaker 7 (54:48):
Mean, what are you gonna have them do for seventeen
hours a day unless they work there somewhere outside of
the prison, you know, for that free labor lessons?
Speaker 1 (54:57):
Exactly. They're a slave right car institutions. So all those
all those public.
Speaker 16 (55:02):
Service work workers in.
Speaker 1 (55:04):
These local counties and towns, put them out there in
the woods, make them seventeen a half hours a day. Lake,
and I would have the A C. L u foinding
all kind of lawsuits against me, But I guarantee you
they would not want to come back to my jail,
all right, Jay right, Lincoln, I also want to say,
did you hear Dump his guilty plead that he may
have killed Epstein? Yesterday?
Speaker 7 (55:25):
He may have went now.
Speaker 1 (55:27):
He may have killed Epstein. I had him killed.
Speaker 7 (55:30):
I didn't hear that. What did he say?
Speaker 1 (55:32):
Well, here's here's how I come to this conclusion, right,
Oh this is your conclusion. Yeah, yeah, this is this
kind of kind of dependent Lincoln as he sat there
in the White House yesterday with that with that dude
from Sault here, and he talked about the killing of
a journalist. His words was that nobody liked him. He
wasn't popular, he wasn't nice, he wasn't a nice person.
(55:55):
So with all those things he said about the journalists
as a result of him being killed, was isn't that
the same thing he said about Empstein?
Speaker 3 (56:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (56:06):
Pretty much. He said he was a petiphile. Is why
he kicked him out of the club.
Speaker 1 (56:11):
Okay, And then Epstein started then he get all his
emails with I can bring him down, and I can
do this, and I can do that. So I got
every reason to believe in my independent investigation that Dump
had that man killed. So so I'll put it out
there right and linked let me ask you another question.
You know, Blondie who trust is blondie who trusts anything
(56:34):
that Blondie says when it comes to blondie, I think
the words that that public enemy used can't trust him.
That needs to be the anthem when it comes to
blondie in this current administration, because you can't trust the
word that they say.
Speaker 3 (56:48):
All right.
Speaker 1 (56:49):
And and also as far as that that cop in Texas,
that that did what he did to those University of Tompkin,
they got their hed.
Speaker 7 (56:59):
I know, thought did I said, how did they come
back and beat them after all that? I mean, geez,
but yeah, go ahead. What about the cop? I thought
he got disciplined, didn't he?
Speaker 1 (57:08):
Yeah, he got disciplined. But what he is, he is
exactly what today's white culture is.
Speaker 13 (57:14):
They think they're in the sixties.
Speaker 1 (57:15):
Fact, they're thinking they're back in the sixties now because
of dump.
Speaker 7 (57:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (57:18):
Right, So that's why you're seeing these things.
Speaker 12 (57:21):
These guys literally.
Speaker 1 (57:22):
Think they're in the sixties. And and if you pardoned
folks that went into the capital, if you pardon them,
to them, criminals are selective, and so they don't think
that their criminal activity. They just don't think.
Speaker 7 (57:36):
So do you call Donald Trump dump on your show?
Speaker 1 (57:42):
I call him dump on my show, The Dump Now.
Speaker 7 (57:46):
And what if somebody just tuning in and they hear
you say that, they want to what the hell is he?
Who is he talking about?
Speaker 1 (57:53):
Well, I say dump, and I'll say dump ever because
I'd like.
Speaker 22 (57:57):
To of all the.
Speaker 1 (57:57):
Place I've been in my entire world and all my
live the Ohio River is the nastiest river. So that's
why I want to dump him. I want to dump
to the Ohio River right because he is discussing Lincoln.
He is a dumpster, and all them people that fall
in my dump dump, So yes, I call him dump
on my show, and until legal somebody tell me different,
(58:19):
he's gonna be dumping.
Speaker 7 (58:20):
Thanks for your cal and I just dumped him. And
I just dumped it too. I'm like, what the hell?
Speaker 8 (58:26):
I gotta go in and edit that out, man.
Speaker 7 (58:29):
Why why, oh boy boy? Unbelievable? All right? Five one, three, seven,
four nine, twelve thirty. Let's take a break and then
we'll come back. The Lincoln Wear Show twelve thirty. The
Buzz it's the big hit too. If it don't fit,
don't force it from Indiana Kelly Pannick Patterson, Yeah, all right,
(58:52):
five one three seven, four nine, twelve thirty Lincoln wear
with you and uh, let's see, looks like Tony is
up to what's going on? How you doing?
Speaker 12 (59:02):
I'm all right about yourself.
Speaker 7 (59:03):
I'm hanging in there. What's on your mind?
Speaker 16 (59:06):
Hey, you're not paying attention to what's happening in Columbus.
You haven't talked about it, So I will give you
a quick rundown on it.
Speaker 7 (59:15):
What's happening in Columbus.
Speaker 16 (59:17):
There's a trial going on of a young lady who
was shot and killed by police up there because she
was shoplifted. Okay, so they stop her outside, she's in
her car, he draws his gun and she pulls off,
just like Sam Dubo's right.
Speaker 7 (59:34):
Oh yeah, I think, Yeah, that happened back is twenty three. Yeah, yeah,
that happened a few years ago. Yeah, I remember that.
I remember that happening. Yes, So the trial is going
on now.
Speaker 16 (59:46):
Okay, yeah, So she was pregnant, all right. So they
charged the cop with I think it was murder first,
and then they start dropping the charges down, so they're
not going to charge him with the killing of her
unborn baby.
Speaker 7 (01:00:03):
Well, I thought that was a law. I thought that
was a law. In Ohio because Ken Lawson had a
client who killed somebody in a car. She was driving
the wrong way or something, and she killed the mother
and the baby, and they charged her with the murder
of the baby, also with the killing of the baby also,
(01:00:23):
And I think they made it a law. I forgot
the name of the law, but there's a law in Ohio.
So I don't know why they didn't charge him.
Speaker 16 (01:00:33):
They're not charging him. So my thing is this now,
the people in Columbus. I mean, it's a lot of
stuff that I work up here. I'm from Cincinnati, but
I work okay, okay, and it's a bunch of stuff
going on up here. I'm telling you, man, it's a
lot of bs going on up here. So the trial,
the judge has thrown out like four charges on this
(01:00:56):
comp he's not giving the defense lawd yours. I mean,
he's given the cops the fist lawyers all the leeway
they won. You know, Trump country up here.
Speaker 7 (01:01:08):
Oh my god, Yeah, it's terrible. Well, you know, not
in the county. I think Franklin County is not Trump County,
but is it? How I didn't think it was.
Speaker 16 (01:01:17):
It's really big up here.
Speaker 18 (01:01:19):
Lincoln.
Speaker 1 (01:01:19):
Yeah, it's big.
Speaker 16 (01:01:20):
It's way bigger than we are down there. So it's
a very small group of blacks and they're all together
in this basic one area. Now in the outskirts, you'll
find them every blue moon, you know, like Indian heel
or madeir you know what I'm saying by find blacks
is spreaded out or whatnot. But they're not given us
(01:01:45):
as far as the people any rhythm up here in
this county, it's terrible. So what's going to end up
happening is this cop is gonna walk.
Speaker 7 (01:01:55):
Yeah. Well, I thought Franklin County was blue. I'm telling you,
I thought it was a blue county, just like Hamilton County.
Speaker 16 (01:02:03):
If I'm not mistaken Lincoln, which I'm telling you, I
can't say what I want to say about the color
of the people. You know what, I'm gonna blow my horn.
Speaker 7 (01:02:16):
Well, I mean it can be that way. And you
talking about the how is the makeup of the jury
or is it a trial by judge?
Speaker 16 (01:02:22):
What it's a jury trial?
Speaker 7 (01:02:24):
And what's the makeup of the jury. Do you know?
Speaker 16 (01:02:27):
Majority white?
Speaker 7 (01:02:28):
Yeah? And that's how it is most of the time
here in Hamilton County. It's like that. Most of the
time because we always try to get out of jury duty.
And I'm guilty of it too. Yours are going, Yes, I.
Speaker 16 (01:02:43):
Mean this judge, If you look at this judge, you
would think he came from Alabama somewhere to be a judge.
Hate deal and Alabama. You know what I'm saying. Yes,
he just don't look like he cared about anything that
the that the prosecutor is saying. You know, but I'm
with this trial and I'll get you some more information
(01:03:03):
on it as it goes on. And also I asked
you last week to know why that the other radio
stations get the say cuss words and we never do that.
Speaker 7 (01:03:16):
Oh you're talking about on the rap songs. I forget.
I forgot to ask somebody. I'll ask somebody that before
the next time you call me, Tony.
Speaker 16 (01:03:27):
All the radio stations in cohoosion with each other in Ohio, Like,
you know, one hundred point three is the same as
ninety five point.
Speaker 19 (01:03:37):
Five up here.
Speaker 7 (01:03:38):
Yeah, well yeah, it's owned by the same company.
Speaker 1 (01:03:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 16 (01:03:41):
Well, I don't understand why we can't have what they have.
Speaker 7 (01:03:46):
Well, I have to check that out. I have to
check that out.
Speaker 16 (01:03:49):
Okay, Well you check it out. Give you a call
back next week with more information on this trough.
Speaker 7 (01:03:54):
All right, okay, thanks for your jill good All right?
Is a supreme over there on the whiz? Is he
over there?
Speaker 8 (01:04:00):
I can go grabbing real quick.
Speaker 7 (01:04:02):
I better talk to him first, hope. So let's take
a break and then we'll come back. Five one, three, seven,
four nine, twelve thirty Lincoln, Where twelve thirty the buzz.
Before we talk to doctor Jones, Let's go over to
the Dukes to to find out what's cooking on a Wednesday.
It's a Senior Citizen's Day at the Dukes To.
Speaker 14 (01:04:22):

That's right, Thanksgiving is only eight days away. Now you

cup of coffee. And let's cook while you wait, and
don't forget folks. If you need that deep fried turkey,
give us a call at five point three seven six
one twenty three hundred. Have a blessed day, everybody. We'll
talk at you, lady Lincoln.
Speaker 7 (01:05:48):
All right, that's the dukester right there in the Summit Plaza.
On reading road. All right, let's go to doctor Nana
Jones and doctor Jones, how are you today?
Speaker 11 (01:05:58):
I'm doing well, Lincoln, how are you to?
Speaker 7 (01:06:00):
Pretty good? Pretty good? It's National Diabetes Awareness Month, and
man uh, tell us a little bit about diabetes. What
are some of the signs and what do people look
for when they think they might have it?
Speaker 22 (01:06:12):
Yes?
Speaker 11 (01:06:13):
So, yes, happy National Diabetes are where this month comes
around every November.
Speaker 3 (01:06:17):
So.
Speaker 11 (01:06:18):
Diabetes is a chronic medical condition in which the body
is unable to regulate blood sugars. That's why you know,
we call it the sugar, yes, known as blood glue coose.
Speaker 7 (01:06:27):
Why don't people say that? Why do you know the
old folks back in the day you say she got sugar,
You got.
Speaker 11 (01:06:32):
The sugar exactly. So the medical terminology is actually blood glucose.
And when you get diabetes, either because you're unable to
make a hormone called insulin, which is the hormone that
regulates blood sugar, or your body doesn't recognize it.
Speaker 7 (01:06:47):
Now, what are the signs? What do you look? What
will you? I mean, just give us a few signs
and look for yes.
Speaker 11 (01:06:53):
So, really it's peeing a lot and drinking a lot.
Doctors call it polyyia and poly So if you're getting
up in the middle of the night multiple times a
night to have to use the bathroom as disrupting your sleep.
If you're having to stop at the water fountain or
constantly drinking jugs of water, that could be a sign
(01:07:15):
of diabetes and unintentional weight loss. So if you're starting
to get thin but you had no u you had
no intention of fenning uh, and you're losing weight, that
could be another sign as well.
Speaker 7 (01:07:25):
Yeah, but the diabetes medicine they take make some lose weight.
Speaker 13 (01:07:31):
Yes.
Speaker 11 (01:07:31):
Unfortunately, OBC and abnormal weight gain are some of the
risk factors to developing type two diabetes. And I don't
know if the audience knows this, but there are actually
different types of diabetes. You know, most people know type
two diabetes, and basically your body is unable to respond
to insulin that is related to diet and exercise, which
is why some of these weight loss drugs are very
(01:07:52):
effective and the treatment of type two diabetes. But the
most common diabetes of childhood is actually type one diabetes.
And that's situation your body can't even make influence, so
you have to go to shots no matter what and
diet and exercise can't prevent that. There's even pre diabetes,
so that's you know, right before you get diabetes. You
can be in the pre diabetes area. You can have
(01:08:13):
just stational diabetes where you only have diabetes during your pregnancy.
And there's even something called monogenetic diabetes where there's a
genetic variation that causes diabetes.
Speaker 7 (01:08:24):
Oh boy, And so what do you do? What do
you say to your doctor? They give you blood tests
and they can tell your levels and tell you if
you need to get on medication.
Speaker 11 (01:08:36):
Yes, so it is very very important that we as
a community talk to our health care providers about our
risk for many different things, including our risk for diabetes.
So basically you should ask your health care provider what
is my risk for diabetes?
Speaker 18 (01:08:52):
Right?
Speaker 11 (01:08:52):
And then the other thing is important that you should
know your numbers. I'm part of the closing the healthcare
and that's one of our models knows your numbers. So
what is your BMI which is your body math index
that's basically a ratio of your height to your weight,
and a BMI over thirty is defined as obesity. Right,
you should know what your fasting blood sugar is, right,
So what your fasting blood glucose. Anything over one hundred
(01:09:15):
is pre diabetes, anything over one twenty six is actually diabetes.
And another very important number to know is your hemoglobin
A one C. That is a number that's basically a
three month average of what your blow glucoses are over time.
Anything over five point seven places you at high risk
for diabetes. Anything over six point five percent means you
(01:09:38):
have diabetes.
Speaker 7 (01:09:39):
And should you go on medication at that point?
Speaker 11 (01:09:42):
At that point, yes, typically you know, sometimes in your
pre diabetes phase, we'll really try to double down and
diet and exercise, and if you are able to make
some significant lifestyle changes, you can potentially, if you have
type two diabetes or at risk for type two diabetes,
prevent the progression just with diet and exercise. But unfortunately
(01:10:04):
the majority of individuals struggle with managing their diet and
physical activities. And there are some forms of diabetes that
you have to go on medication regardless. So yes, and
most instances people need medication to help manage their diabetes.
Speaker 7 (01:10:17):
And once you're on that medication, are you stuck with
it for life? Or you can wean yourself off of
it if you like, you say eat healthy and exercise
and stuff.
Speaker 13 (01:10:27):
Yes.
Speaker 11 (01:10:27):
Now again that's specifically for type two diets. Okay, if
you have type one diabetes, that's not an option. Insolent
is the only option if you have type one diabetes.
But in type two diabetes, if you can, with the
help of your health care providers and your family and
a support system, really double down on your physical activity
and your dietary modifications, you could potentially come off of medication.
(01:10:51):
Sometimes there's just some things and some genetic factors that
make that difficult. So don't find yourself to be a
failure if you're not able to get off medicines. If
you're able to manage your diabetes and maintain your A
one C less than seven percent, then you've done a
good job.
Speaker 7 (01:11:06):
Now eating a lot of suites that can uh increase
uh your chances of you just like so so so
so hopefully hopefully, hopefully, hopefully.
Speaker 23 (01:11:20):
Answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers, answers.

Speaker 1 (01:14:16):
Now you got chapole.
Speaker 7 (01:14:18):
That's life.
Speaker 11 (01:14:19):
Can you know there's just so much access to these
fast and processed foods. Our children are suffering the consequences
with rising rays of obesity, pre diabetes, and type two diabetes.
Speaker 7 (01:14:29):
Wow. All right, well, thank you for joining me this morning.
And people need to watch what they eat is pretty
much what you're saying, and get checked at the doctor.
Speaker 11 (01:14:38):
Yes, go, yes, definitely go go to your healthcare provider
to learn about your risk for diabetes and know your numbers.
Speaker 7 (01:14:44):
All right, doctor Jones, thanks for joining us this morning.
We appreciate it.
Speaker 11 (01:14:48):
Thank you, Lincoln.
Speaker 7 (01:14:48):
All right, let's take a break and then we'll come
back twelve thirty the buzz till one o'clock at one
riven Ole Shop. Then keeping it real, Keeping it real,
and in the studio with me none other than Lacy Roberts.
We're going to talk about Who's Who in Black Cincinnati
and give us an update on the documentars before we
(01:15:09):
talk about Who's Who in Black Cincinnati. That's right, Welcome
to the show. How you doing well?
Speaker 25 (01:15:13):
Thank you, Lincoln, I'm good. It's really good.
Speaker 6 (01:15:14):
It's glad it's not raining today because yesterday was a drab,
Yes it was, it was. But update on documentars. It's
been a year since we started our program, so we
have over one hundred documentars. We've documented over one hundred
and fifty meetings. Our website is up and running signal
Cincinnati dot org, so you can see what we've covered
in this past year. And I think the most exciting
(01:15:37):
thing about that is, you know, Cincinnati made some national
headlines and especially during the summer, so it was nice
to see from our documentars coverage of what those events
did to the community from a community's point of view
since we started going to those community and neighborhood councils.
So I think that's worth going to check out on
our website to see what the community members actually had
(01:15:58):
to say about those events. Now, Ashley, that really affected
our community in a tighter nit way than what you
saw on major media.
Speaker 25 (01:16:05):
So we're going to wrap up this year.
Speaker 6 (01:16:06):
We have another training on a Tuesday, December sixteenth, from
five thirty to seven thirty that's virtual and again you
can sign up for that at Signal Cincinnati dot work.
Speaker 7 (01:16:15):
All right now, tell us a little bit about this
Who's Who in Black Cincinnati. They skipped the year it
had a couple of years ago. I think I was
on the front Cove Iris Ye means Cameron or Cameron
means Let's see who else was on there. I can't remember.
The Oh uh Black Family were Tracy art.
Speaker 6 (01:16:38):
Tracy Artists, That's right. Yeah, So that's you think about
that line U up people on that cover. You know,
this is heavy hitters when we're talking about Who's Who
in Black Cincinnati. Like you said, they took a year
off with their back, so their returning. And this event
is going to be on December tenth at the Higher
Regency in Cincinnati.
Speaker 25 (01:16:54):
So this is just a time.
Speaker 6 (01:16:55):
I know we have all these other different kalas around
this and you've been to them, but I think this
gala is really cool because you get to bring all
of those different entities together and celebrate African American men
and women in all areas that we serve in Cincinnati.
So you know, we're talking about science, history, medical, nonprofits,
anything you think of radio media just out there in
(01:17:17):
the community. So this is the time for you guys
to come out and see those people that are going
to be celebrated. Now, there's some heavy hitters on that
change Maker List that are making it this year. I
won't spoil it, so you're.
Speaker 25 (01:17:26):
Gonna have to come.
Speaker 6 (01:17:27):
But I want to talk about the opportunity to be
featured in the tenth edition of the book. So every
year they have this book where you can be featured
in it, and you can nominate somebody in your network
to be in this book. So they've extended those nominations
until tomorrow. I'll drop a link in the chat after this,
Or you can nominate somebody a black man or a
woman that you think is doing something really great in
(01:17:48):
the community in your network so that they can be recognized.
Speaker 7 (01:17:51):
Okay, I mean, and where will it be held this year?
Speaker 25 (01:17:54):
It'll be at the High Regency Cincinnati on West fifth Street.
Speaker 7 (01:17:57):
Okay, how can people get tickets if they want to go?
Speaker 6 (01:18:00):
So they can get tickets, I'll drop a link to
that chat as well. But if you just go on
Google and search Who's Who, it'll pop up Cincinnati and
you can sign up for that link right there. You
can also find them on their Facebook and their Instagram
as well.
Speaker 25 (01:18:12):
And if you go on my page to Lacy Roberts TV.
Speaker 6 (01:18:14):
I'll be dropping some things today and continually throughout the
next couple of weeks so that people can come because.
Speaker 25 (01:18:19):
It's gonna be a good time.
Speaker 7 (01:18:20):
Yes, yes, yes, it sounds like and it was a
good time two years ago. It was a great time. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:18:25):
I think it's especially important right now just everything that
we're going to we need to celebrate some things that
we're doing and be reminded of the good things that
have happened in the past ten years in Cincinnati and
look forward to what the next ten years looks like.
Speaker 7 (01:18:37):
And you see people in that book there that magazine
that you just never knew exactly in Cincinnati exactly.
Speaker 9 (01:18:44):
Now.
Speaker 6 (01:18:44):
We've already started announcing some people who have been nominated
and chosen to be in the book. A lot of
people might know LaToya, she's got Brown Hands Literacy, she's
got that nonprofit teaching young kids about literacy and HBCUs.
Speaker 25 (01:18:57):
They have that hub over there in Avondale right now.
Speaker 7 (01:18:59):
That may some news.
Speaker 6 (01:19:01):
You got some other people, a Darlando Dinar, we know
his involvement, but Tracy Artist is really important, just those
the behind the scenes people. I think that we sometimes
forget about they are making a huge impact in Cincinnati.
Speaker 7 (01:19:12):
That's what that book is for.
Speaker 6 (01:19:14):
So for me, I kind of think about it when
I looked at the book from last year. It's like
a directory if you're looking for somebody or something to
do in media or nonprofits or grant writing or anything
that you're looking for to get into. This book starts
with a directory for these wonderful, awesome black men and
women that are doing that right here in Cincinnati. Instead
of you're having an outsource yeah things, you know, AI,
(01:19:35):
all that kind of stuff whatever, But the community and
the human aspect is what we need to remember.
Speaker 7 (01:19:41):
And I hope you're in there this year because you
know you WHO'STI.
Speaker 25 (01:19:44):
I hope So no, I'm just kidding.
Speaker 3 (01:19:47):
You know.
Speaker 6 (01:19:47):
It's a blessing with my company, Grace Media, to be
involved and help out these kind of organizations and make
sure these things are smoothly.
Speaker 25 (01:19:53):
So you'll see me there. I'll be around And yeah,
I hope I'm in the book.
Speaker 7 (01:19:57):
But yeah, it sounds like it's always a great time.
People need to check that out. Who's who in Black Cincinnati.
You'll find out who's who in Black Cincinnati. It's right,
I'm telling you and once again, where can people get
tickets and how much are the tickets?
Speaker 6 (01:20:10):
By the way, the tickets I think they started around
eighty ninety dollars. Or you can get like a table,
but you know it's gonna be nice. You're gonna get
fed and have some drinks of course, some good entertainment.
Speaker 25 (01:20:20):
Nice DJ.
Speaker 6 (01:20:21):
You can go to Who's Who in Black Cincinnati on
Google or you can find them on Facebook or Instagram
and I'll drop all those links in the chat right
after this as well for you to nominate somebody and
to buy some tickets.
Speaker 7 (01:20:32):
All right, that sounds I was thinking about the documentars
the other day when I saw the people protesting up
in Butler County at the commission meeting. They want they
wanted to get rid of ice up Butler and they
were up there outside the Commission office protesting. This would
be a great place for somebody to document all.
Speaker 17 (01:20:49):
That I know.
Speaker 6 (01:20:50):
And that's why we're having this last minute orientation because
now we see that people want us to expand we've
got some calls for us to come out to North
College Hill. We've been in Forest Park a little bit,
but especially all that development they have going on. So
if you are in the Butler County area. Please sign
up a signal Cincinnati dot org to be a documenter.
The more documentars we have, the more meetings we can cover.
(01:21:10):
So this is really up to the community how much
you want to share about what's going on where you
live at.
Speaker 7 (01:21:15):
They always off the chain up there North College Hill.
I'm telling you they just fired the police chief and
he accused the people who fired him of racism and agism.
Speaker 6 (01:21:28):
It was something It's a lot going on like hear
that from the community's perspective, or what happens at those meetings.
Speaker 25 (01:21:33):
We tell you the skinny. The documenters tell you what's.
Speaker 6 (01:21:35):
Going on, skinny, and they get paid for doing it.
I'm telling you eighteen dollars an hour. The number has
not changed. For sitting in the meeting.
Speaker 25 (01:21:42):
Going to the meeting, you can end up making one
hundred dollars a day.
Speaker 7 (01:21:46):
Unbelievable. Unbelieve just by going to a meeting. That's by
going to a meeting. And that's something like I might
do when I retire. You know, just you know what
you should because I go to meetings all the time anyway.
Speaker 6 (01:21:57):
So I might as well get thinking about these people
that are already at the meeting. You go to your
community council meeting every single month, every single month, you
can just make a hundred dollars.
Speaker 7 (01:22:06):
There you go documentars and uh uh I tell you
you and uh, what's what's your name in Columbus there,
Rita McNeil. Yes, we're uh solicitor.
Speaker 6 (01:22:22):
Yeah, huge instrumental part of making this happen in Cincinnati,
and now we are starting uh Columbus documentars as well,
so you know we're talking about those state house issues
that you want to be connected. That will be our
pipeline to connect you guys to what's happening at the
State House, to bring you directly that news to Cincinnati
without you having to wait to see like your TV screen.
Speaker 7 (01:22:42):
All right, how many times do you run into people
and they said, when are you getting back into TV?
Speaker 25 (01:22:46):
About every other day.
Speaker 6 (01:22:50):
You know it's gonna happen when it happens, but you
know it's it's not lost on me.
Speaker 25 (01:22:55):
I love that people still miss me.
Speaker 6 (01:22:57):
I miss you guys too, But me and the documentary
thing and Grace Media, we're gonna ride to the wheels, fall.
Speaker 7 (01:23:03):
Off, ride it to the wheels. Follow That's right, all right?
That sounds good to me. But you're doing a great
job not on TV. You out there. I mean you,
we see you just as much as when you're on TV.
Speaker 17 (01:23:13):
I know, right.
Speaker 6 (01:23:14):
So if you have an event coming up you need
a host or MC you guys, I am available.
Speaker 7 (01:23:19):
Yes, hit me up when they call me to do
that stuff. I'll just pass your name right along to it.
Speaker 25 (01:23:24):
How about there we go, That's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 7 (01:23:27):
There'll be a finder's feed though. No, I'm just jokeing.
I don't mind. N't like the joke with you. I
was just skiddy, but I won't pass your name along.
Speaker 25 (01:23:38):
You know, I appreciate that.
Speaker 6 (01:23:40):
I feel like it's time for that next generation to
come up, you know, And I like this Who's who
again because we're starting to see that, like the past is,
the torch is being passed on to the next generation.
Speaker 25 (01:23:49):
And you know, you gotta you gotta, you know, mold
us and do you want us to be so we
can you.
Speaker 7 (01:23:53):
Know, we don't pass the torch, We just light your torch.
How about that? Well, yeah, right, we're gonna keep the
to what's there, but we're gonna light yours so you
can help us see this either way I like that. Well,
thank you for stopping by. We appreciate it. And once
again go over the Who's Who Black Cincinnati one more time.
Speaker 6 (01:24:11):
Who's Who in Black Cincinnati is gonna be December tenth,
from six to eight at the High Regency Cincinnati on
West fitz Street. You can go ahead and type in
on Google, Instagram, Facebook, HUSHO in Cincinnati and get those tickets.
I will drop that link in the chat right now.
Speaker 7 (01:24:26):
All right, thank you Lacy Roberts in the studio and
it's always great to have you here. Let's take a
break for news and then we'll come back on the
other side. Seven four nine one two three zero. That's
