politics can't be like sports. People take different sides on

the school campus and started shooting.

pleaded guilty to murder. He'll stay in jail the rest
of his life without parole. And Rod has to be

come up with this and what made you want to
start this?

Organization, yes, sir SO i came up with it about
seven years ago after working in youth services in the
city for about ten years before that and saw that
there was a, gap that we had great resources for
boys and young men of, color that we had great,
initiatives but there wasn't an organization who was standing flat
footed and saying that our whole mission is going to

be to make sure that we that we give boys
and young men of color an even playing, field that
we give them some, equity that we make sure that
they have the tools and resources that they need to be.
Successful and that has exploded and we have about a
four hundred person will.

are what's inside of, them and how do they use

you find a lot of these young men? Angry you
know a lot of them come in that.

Way they've experienced, trauma they've experienced, heard they've experienced this,
function or a lot of them have never been in
an environment of all men right where there is you,
know strong black men to guide, them where there are
people who see, them who value, them and who believe in.
Them so sometimes that's difficult for some of the young men.

That you see them out on the street, there everybody's
