The Morning Hustle crew dives into celebrity mess and moral accountability in an episode that swings from rap rankings to heartbreaking family revelations. Alton kicks off the Lo’Down by breaking down Billboard’s “Top 10 Hottest Female Rappers of 2025,” running through a list that includes Ice Spice, Monaleo, Pluto, Latto, Megan Thee Stallion, Bunni B, YKNats, GloRilla, Doechii and a late-surging Cardi B in the No. 1 spot. The team debates how artists with no full album, social-media momentum, or just a couple of big features end up ranking over women like GloRilla, who’s been consistently active and growing her fanbase on tour, and Doechii, whose viral singles and high-profile performances have made her one of the most-watched new MCs in hip-hop.

From there, Alton’s “God Ain’t Pleased” segment uses a new documentary about Diddy as a mirror for the culture, calling out how fans and industry folks have long celebrated abusive, bullying leadership styles in pursuit of access and clout—pointing back to moments like Making the Band’s infamous cheesecake walk as early red flags.

With multiple recent lawsuits accusing Sean “Diddy” Combs of sexual assault and other abuse, and fresh public scrutiny of his past behavior, those questions about why people tolerate toxic power hits even harder. The episode closes on a somber note as Alton revisits the ongoing Brian McKnight family drama, playing Brian McKnight Jr.’s emotional recounting of a call his late brother Nico made from his deathbed—begging their father to simply say “I love you” and allegedly being told he couldn’t “arbitrarily” say that.

The hosts wrestle with how a man famous for classic love songs could be publicly accused of disowning his biological children and legally centering his stepchildren instead, reflecting on what responsible fatherhood and accountability should really look like.

starts your day. I check you kyless day. Kyle's message
of today today is if you build it, they will come.

(01:24):
If you build it, they will That's the phrase y'all
heard it before. Basically, what it's saying is that that
idea that you're sitting on, that thing that you want
to do, and you're worried about whether or not people
are going to show up, Well, if you don't build it,
they'll never show up. But if you do what you
say you're gonna do, you put it out there and
give people the opportunity to come out, show out and
pull up, they will. All right. You just gotta make

(01:46):
it happen, all right, that theme that you've been sitting on,
that idea that you've been sitting on, that event that
you want to do, whatever the case may be. Man,
you got to put it out there so that the
people can know about it. Once they know about it,
if they can relate to it, and you showing what
it is is that you got going on, I guarantee
you there's gonna be some people that rock with you,
did you know what I mean? And if it's not
as many people as you like the first time, just

(02:07):
keep doing it. With repetition comes acknowledgement, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
And it'll just build and build and build and build
to the point where you'll get it where you want
to go. But if you don't get started now, it's
never gonna happen, all right, Kyle's message of the day today, Miss,
stop sitting on that thing. If you build it, they
will come, all right, And mind is uh huh, thanks
to men our producer.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Sometimes you gotta lie damn huh about what.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Listen, especially if she asks you how she look fellas,
Come on, now, you just got the lie. You know
I lied to my nephew the other day. Sometimes you
got the lie.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
You know what it is?

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Morning hustle Loreal's out, Kyle saying to in out to
walkers in the building as well.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
And it's telling for us to get into that lowdown.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Oh and you know who's doing it today, Alton, I
gotta hold a low down down Listen. Is you know
the Billboards put out the hottest female rappers Listen. You
know they're always putting out these lists and you know,
stirring up some trouble. And you know this list is
kind of funny, Kyle, because some of These people ain't
even got an album out, which is weird to me.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
But I'm going to go with this list.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
This list, they said they're considered record quality, chart success,
cultural buzz, notable, business endeavors, partnership, twenty success.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
So what are they titling the list to top?

Speaker 4 (03:30):
What?

Speaker 3 (03:31):
The top hottest female rappers of twenty twenty five?

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Okay, top hottest? All right?

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Top ten the hottest female rappers of twenty twenty five?
All right, yeah, I ready, yep, here we go. Number ten,
Ice Spice. I don't even I don't even know if
she did anything this year, right coming That number nine
is Mono Leo and I like her Coyle if you've been,
I don't know if you're familiar with her.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
She sold out her tour already for next year. I
like her.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
She's dope, dope, you know, she deserves to be on
the list. She deserved to be on the list.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
I like her. She can really rap.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
She reminded me of Meghan the Stallion, cause Megan the
Stallion can really rap, you know. But she reminded me
of a little bit of Meghan. And shout out her because,
like I said, she sold out her tour already coming
that number eight Pluto Pluto, you know Pluto started off
this year, Yeah, with her and y Knes. Number seven
is Lotto, which I was surprised that she's at number seven.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
I thought she'd be higher.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Number six is Meghan the Stallion this year, which Meghan
didn't do too much this year either.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
I don't remember her doing too much this year.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
I mean I guess she was still hip because she
was on social media, cooking for her.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Man, that's all she was doing.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Really, but shoot earlier, which man, because I think she
had too bad. I mean, I didn't get in that
all right. We talked about the list. Number five, it's
Bunna Bee. Bunna Bee is at number five, and I
believe you said she came and ripped it at up.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
We touring up in Winston Salem State University. She did
it for the undergrads. They went crazy over her. Man
shout out to her.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Number before y knats, which you know she was on
metro Boom take me through that tech me through the
right right, that's on that song was crazy.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Number three is Glorilla. Glorilla.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
Now this is when I am kind of shocked that
uh number three because Glorila was killing this year. I
thought she'd have been higher on the list. I ain't
gonna hold you. Yeah, now, Golilla killed this year. I'm
not gonna lie to you. Uh she looking she looking good.
Ain't good lie brand Brandon, you better do, you better
do right. But she came up might a long way
from h from this. Ain't the same, the same, really

(05:34):
looking good, y'all. Ain't a lot to you. She doing
something to. Number two is Doci Dochi. Did start off
this year strong variable. What happened to her like towards
the end of the year later in the year, but
she started off super strat, super strong. You could not
look at social media without Doci being on your time,
So shout out and I do like do She's very talented,

(05:56):
very very talented, and they're coming that. Number one is
Cardi B Cardi B, which I think snooking there late
because she just put the record out like two much
or last month.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
So again the list is weird to me because again
some of these artists don't even have an album. They
are getting hot off of featuring, right. I don't remember
hip hop being like that well, I mean that's why
the listen is. That's why I asked you in the beginning, like,
what are they saying? This list is ten best, ten
best selling, you know what I mean? But you said
ten hottest, So that means they just got a wave

(06:26):
going right now, whether it's off an album or off
a single, off of social media.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
That's the lowdown. You know.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
I'm filling in for Lorielle. You can follow me out
to Walker Show everywhere. Follow me out to Walker Show,
stick around man on the way. God ain't pleases up next, Yo,
don't go nowhere.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Social media and your men think it's play too, But
this is a holy moment as Walker. Yo, some morning hustle,
Lriel and Kyle Santillian alter. Walker's here and it's time
for God please, yes, y'all. This week he diddy bomb bomb.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
You know, his documentary came out in you know God,
it was a good doctor.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
It wasn't a good documentary, but they should have got
another what he was doing God.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
But I know they made some money, but I was
watching it, man, and and you know who, God ain't
pleased at us.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
And and and God ain't.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
Please at society. That's that's who I'm giving God. They
pleased and I'm included. Why do we celebrate leaders like this?
Why do we love following leaders like Diddy? We don't
care about character. We care about celebrity power, the VIP section,
that's what we care about.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
It's like we like following toes. We love it.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
We love a person to yell at us, intimidate us,
what is wrong with us? And for some of us,
we think that's the way you're supposed to leave. And
let's be honest. Did he been showing this type of
energy a long time?

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Even wouldn't making the band Diddy, I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
When I saw him on making the band, I thought, Wow,
this is power, even though I didn't agree with a
lot of it. Of him making them walk to what
they had walk like from Manhattan to Brooklyn. I don't
even know how far. There's far as hell get a cheesecake.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
Now.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
We all watched it.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
I felt like something was wrong with that. But listening
to Diddy, I'm thinking, well, this is what it takes
to get to where he's at.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
He did it. I mean, this is what it takes
to get into that position of success. It is wrong,
this is not what it takes. I asked mad about it,
and man is like, no, no, I don't think. I
don't think people actually like that.

Speaker 5 (08:44):
Most people hate leaders that are bullies, that take advantage
of people.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
They hate that. But the thing is they think that
is the way it's supposed to that. They think it's the.

Speaker 5 (08:55):
Way it's supposed to be, but they hate the fact.
And the problem with that is when they if they
eventually get to that position, they take on those.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Because we've had this conversation all the time, Like over
the course of my career, one of the biggest knocks
on me, you could say, is people think I'm too humble.
But when I see people like what we're talking about
today and I'm like, yo, there are souls.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
I don't want to be like an soul.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
It's so crazy that man say that because you come
under so and then you get that that most people
ain't gonna say most people, but some people will get
that spot and you become that sohld that you didn't like, yes, and.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
You feel like and you feel like, well, I went
through it. You gotta go through it. That's a fact.
And that's not right.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
Because you went through it doesn't mean the next person
has to go through it. This could have been stopped,
and it can stop now. I hope this documentary allows
you to see what we like to follow and I'm
putting myself into because yes, I thought that was the
way to do it. Watching this documentary, God ain't pleased
at me. As society, we have to change the way
we treat people. We have to train people on how

(10:02):
to lead correctly and shout out to the people that
are leading and correctly you're leading the way it's supposed
to be done. Lastly, I have to apologize, apologize to
everybody on that documentary because at first I was you know,
I said, I said to the y'all, I was like,
if Diddy, if they were still benefiting from Diddy, then
they wouldn't have came out right, you know what I'm saying.

(10:25):
But I also do know that Diddy was very intimidating.
He really had some power to take.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
You out of here.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
And so for all those for all those who was saying,
well they only starting that could because you know, they
ain't getting no money from him, and that could be true.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
But at the same time, understand some people are just scared.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
I would have been scared knowing what he his his
capability is what he has done or was accused of
doing or allegedly doing. You would have been scared too.
I had that, I probably would have gave my twenty
five percent up. Like, shout out to them, shout out
to them for coming out. But let's do better at society.
Let's put the right people in leadership and stop following

(11:04):
these exac I'm with that man there. You go out
to walk and let y'all know why God Ain'm pleased
some more else cash.

Speaker 6 (11:12):
Crowd questions question sixty second second.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
All right, let's get to it, baby, Time for that
thousand dollar cash grab. We got Abigail on the line. Marril,
what up, Abigail? Nothing much, enjoying my sunny day, okay,
enjoying today. It'll be a better day if you win
a thousand dollars though, right, Oh yeah, Abigail, what is
you that? What are you doing right now?

Speaker 7 (11:35):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (11:37):
You might want to pull over for this for safety purposes.
All right, we got to advise everybody, do not play
this game while driving. Pull over to the side of
the road if you can, and take it off speaker phone. Okay, okay,
all right, Abigail, let's get to it, baby.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Here's the rules. You got sixty seconds to answer ten questions.
For every correct answer, you're good ten dollars. Get all ten, right,
you win one thousand dollars. If you don't know an answer,
you could say pass. We'll come back to it as
long as we have time left on the clock and
make sure the answer you give is the one that
you want, because we have to go with your first answer.
Every single one of our judges a big med does
not play okay, single all right.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
That being said, we want to hook you up with
a free answer. ALTA Walker's got.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Something for you. All right, Abagail, Your answer is six,
the number six.

Speaker 6 (12:21):
You got it?

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Yeah, all right, number six. Are you ready to go?
I am all right. Let's do it. We got sixty
seconds on the clock. The clock begins, and three to one,
here we go. Who plays basketball for the LA Lakers
and is nicknamed King James Lebron Dame, who does outcast
say sorry? Mister Jackson goes out to this a treating question.

(12:45):
Y'ad I can be thank you. Spell the word neighborhood
n E I G H B O R H O
O D fifty minus twenty seven equals what use that's sir,
huh yeah, all right?

Speaker 8 (13:06):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (13:06):
In music?

Speaker 3 (13:07):
How many strings are on a standard guitar? Which US
state is also an island?

Speaker 6 (13:21):
Come on, is it an island as well?

Speaker 4 (13:24):
Alaska?

Speaker 3 (13:25):
Who was the first black woman Vice president of the
United States. If a pizza has eight slices and you

Speaker 2 (13:47):
Yeah, that was a that was rough. That was a
rough one for you, man, that I still do what?

Speaker 3 (13:53):
No number?

Speaker 4 (13:54):
What she was?

Speaker 2 (13:54):
She just said, yeah, yeah, I don't know what she said?
The answer. The question was for.

Speaker 9 (14:00):
What was you when you asked me about fifty minus
twenty seven?

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Yes, what did you say?

Speaker 8 (14:05):
I said, can we passed? And then you said huh?

Speaker 2 (14:07):
And I said yeah, oh you said, but he passed?
Got you?

Speaker 5 (14:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (14:10):
So you just passed. You just passed. We just kept
going because I didn't know what you said.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
What you said?

Speaker 2 (14:15):
Three too late?

Speaker 3 (14:17):
Now I'm trying to speak one of that. Now she's
gonna put it in a calculator. Wow, let's see what
she got. What she got, man, Well, you got a
come you got it a lot wrong.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
But it's okay.

Speaker 3 (14:33):
Number two, which I felt like this was crazy, but
we go with it. Who does our cast say, sorry?
Miss Jackson goes out to it, maybe because Kyle sung it,
But it's all the baby, mama's mamas, mama's mama's, mama's mom.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
True you know that. Yeah, thats what it goes out to.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
You got that one wrong, of course, then before you
got wrong, fifty twenty seven is twenty three?

Speaker 9 (14:55):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (14:56):
And I gave you this answer in music no.

Speaker 8 (14:58):
And aft I said it, yeah, I said, but it's.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Six, yeah, yeah, yeah, number of strings on the guitar.
It's six, number six, which US state is also an island.
He was about to say it sound like you about
say Puerto Rico, but it's Hawaii.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
Oh my good.

Speaker 6 (15:17):
You know listen, I just had a baby.

Speaker 9 (15:19):
My brain is all.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
My baby. But Puerto Rico. Just to be clear for people,
Puerto Rico is a US territory, but it's not a state.
And then you said Alaska and that's not an island.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
I was just like, what is out in the water.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
You put on your baby? You should be share that's right.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
No, I don't say, I say, you know you get
pregnancy brain, and then you get my mom brain.

Speaker 9 (15:42):
So you just not functioning?

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Never heard I look it up, pregnancy brain. I ain't
never heard of it. I ain't never heard of breaks.
Break it up, look it up. We're gonna look at it.
Might be a question tomorrow, yeah, hequin tomorrow? What kind
of animal is in the teenage mutan Ninja? Turtles? Teacher splinter?

(16:05):
A rat? You never watched my I'm gonna kill me.

Speaker 6 (16:08):
No, you've been watching it.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
I don't like it. I don't like the new one.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
Okay, yeah, so you got you didn't even get to
in the last two, three four.

Speaker 6 (16:20):
I'll put some gas in the stake.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
There you.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
My Pacifia, or get some help with your pregnant pregnancy
brain brain.

Speaker 6 (16:28):
Right, it's mom brain now.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Congratination. Forty dollars Agail, There you go, Abigail represented out
of Clinton, Maryland. It's more than forty dollars. Is yours
for playing? One thousand dollars cash grab? If you felt
like you can get down to do better than Abigail,
you know what to do. Text the word cash the
seven one zero zero seven. You could be up next
on the morning Hustle.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
First of all, I want to give a shout out
to Sherry Shepherd before I continue with anything else. I
want to give a shout out to Sherry Shepherd. She
was filming her show when she surprised one of her
producers with this.

Speaker 10 (17:02):
Now Brittany Sims and Robert Montague don't know this, but
they're so funny to me. I would like to officially
invite both of you to open for me in Connecticut.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
And new work.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
I'm so excited about this because people don't understand how
hard the game is in any any industry in the
in the entertainment industry is hard and for someone like
Sherry Shepherd, which you gotta understand. Sherry Shepard been in
the game for a long time, so she understands the grind.
And for her to allow them to come on tour
with her fans shout out to her. I still kind

(17:38):
of mad because if she had check her DM. I
asked her can I come on the road with her?
And she ain't respond to me yet.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
So she saw she left.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
I ain't hating, but you know, check you m Sherry Shepherd.
I want to open up, you know, but this is
how you do it. People reach back, help the people,
that is coming up. You know how hard it is.
I just wanted to give her a special shout out,
Sherry s I love you, check you deal all right.
Moving on, this Brian Midnight situation with his family been
going on for some years now and I ain't gonna

(18:08):
lie cal. I'm starting to believe some of the things
that are going against Brian McKnight now with Brian y Knight.
He went on the podcast the Other Day a man
a few months ago to discuss the issues or whatever
with his son that passed away.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
The saddest part of this is.

Speaker 4 (18:24):
That the younger one ended up not I believe it's
gout's timing antim He did not have to die, in
my opinion, they martyred him so they could keep this going,
Keeping what what, Keep what going?

Speaker 2 (18:37):
Martyred him to keep this going as crazy, keep what
going well.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
Brick mdnight son Brian Manknight Junior, is sharing new details
about a phone call his late brother Nico had with
his father shortly before his death.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
He went on with Mark Lamont Hill on his show
and this is what he had to say.

Speaker 7 (18:54):
One of the darkest and coldest and most disheartening memories
of my life is the day my brother calls me,
sobbing with all that he's going through, looking death in
the eye, to tell me I'm right about telling him
not to call my father.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
Dad's gone. All my brother wanted and needed was my
father to tell him that he loves him.

Speaker 7 (19:13):
And my father responds to my brother that I can't
arbitrarily say that I love you arbitrarily is absolutely insane.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
Yo, this is crazy.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
And like I said, I've been following this story a
little bit. No one is taking up for Brian McKnight.
How can you to believe that brid Man Knight is
really an asshole?

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Starting to believe First of all, man, it's bad enough
for people don't acknowledge their kids or take care of
their kids or our deadbeat dads. But the outright deny
your children in the fashion that he has is insane.
Your son calls you on his deathbed and doesn't ask
for anything but to know whether or not you love him,
and you and you use the word arbitrarily like, but y'all,

(19:50):
you are wild.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
I can't arbitrarily say that I love you is insane.
I'm trying to figure out what could a son do
for you? You not to want to be involved to
the point where you don't want to say I love
you on his deathbed, and all the fathers you in
bed our father, is there anything because I'm you know,
it's both sides.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
To the story. We all know that it ain't no
two sides. Trying to figure out.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
What what could they have done to that extreme to
make you not want to say I love you to
him on his deathbed. It ain't no two sides at
the end of the day, Like, those kids didn't ask
to be brought to this world. So you always are
from a position of you have to show love and
you have to be the one to give guidance, or
you have to be the one that kind of like
steers them in the right direction.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
They didn't ask to be here. They're only here because
of you, so you bear ultimate responsibility.

Speaker 3 (20:37):
Well, Rian McKnight, you got all these love songs, and
we see that you won't even tell your own son
you love him. That's the lowdown. Filling in for Laurya
and I'm out to Walker, out to Walker show.

Speaker 2 (20:48):
We're gonna move on, man, We're gonna move on from
a tragic fatherless sons to black girl magic Man. We
got the ladies from a Flavor joining us in a
matter of minutes. Don't move. It's the Morning Hustle shown Loreale.
She's out today, Kyle said, Tillian out to walk in
the building. And we always have guests on the show.

(21:08):
This is amazing, all right. Today it's all about black
girl magic, black woman magic. These ladies are successful, the entrepreneurs,
and they's showing you how to do it on Fox
Soul with this show called a Flavor, and they're doing
it real big. And we have the ladies. Said this morning,
we have miss Keisham Madiden. Yeah, I made sure I
said that right.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
Then come on.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
Misschiemaa in his heir, yes, and Miss Terry Rutherford. Yes.

Speaker 8 (21:35):
And I have to let you know because I've gotten
correct in my own self. It's a flavor and what
I said, I don't know, but.

Speaker 6 (21:46):
No, no, no, I have to get this right.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
Okay, okay, all right. You guys have not just been
successful successful in what you're doing now, you've all been
successfull leading up to this moment, which is why I'm
assuming that you were selected for the show.

Speaker 8 (22:04):
We brought you off to the show. That's exactly it.
The producer Amy Bolton shout out to her. She actually
called us individually, Keisha Shima and Bobby and I and
kemmy cake. So she wore yeah, ebony, and she was
very strategic and making sure that we had different personalities,

(22:26):
different brands.

Speaker 6 (22:28):
We came together.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
That's what's up exactly. I didn't say yet. Why say
no at first, because the reality is in the public.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
I've just you know, I've been here in Atlanta for
twenty years and people probably been coming to my restaurants
and never knew.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
I owed it.

Speaker 6 (22:41):
When I was on Peter Street, I was in the kitchen.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
You know, I was behind the scenes.

Speaker 6 (22:45):
People don't know me.

Speaker 3 (22:48):
I do.

Speaker 6 (22:49):
I like to be private.

Speaker 9 (22:53):
I just saw the opportunity to work with other female
restaurant owners. You know, I knew it was a lot
of us out here, but you know, it just was
amazing that, you know, everyone is an individual. We're all
single for whatever reason, maybe because of the money loneliness,
but we're gonna get to that. Yeah, but we all

(23:14):
you know, built our our restaurants, so just this hard
work determination and it was just a wonderful opportunity to
work with other women who were in the same industry
as me.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
Keisha Madiden, Sheena Fulton, Tarren Rutherford hanging out with us
right now, the ladies from a Flavor show on Fox.
So there's one thing that people say on social media,
if you have this in your restaurant, your restaurant has
terrible service. And when we come back and want to
find out whether or not you all have it in
your restaurant, I don't go anywhere.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
We'll be right back with the ladies up next. Put
up y'all to Morning Hustle. Lor Real Kyle say it,
Tillian Alton Walker is here and out, and we got
guests in the studio, the ladies from a Flavor reality
show on five Soul, Keisha maddenon she and a Fulton
and Terren Rutherford are in the building. Man, how about that?

(24:06):
Now let's get down to business.

Speaker 3 (24:08):
Okay, I need to know do any of you ladies
have a grass wall in your restaurant?

Speaker 1 (24:14):
No, let me say, everybody copied my grass walling that
twenty years ago, because.

Speaker 2 (24:24):
You're not a reputation that goes to the grass wall.
Nowtant concept.

Speaker 6 (24:28):
It's called garden park.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
So you know we have read it supposed to have
a grass wall.

Speaker 3 (24:33):
What do you feel offended when people associate bad service
with grass walls in Atlanta.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
I don't really because I think my my my concepts
speak for themselves, so I know, I do you want.

Speaker 6 (24:43):
Me to be honest on really what it is?

Speaker 8 (24:45):
Now?

Speaker 6 (24:45):
I do have a grass wall, but mine. You walked
in mind side walk.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
That's a small wall.

Speaker 6 (24:50):
You can't even you walk.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
Right on behind.

Speaker 6 (24:52):
It's too much to see right too much.

Speaker 8 (24:55):
But what I've learned about Atlanta is that everyone is
big about catching on, yes, and then nobody has their
own ideas they see it.

Speaker 6 (25:05):
That's just what it is.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
I started the all you can eat snow crab legs.

Speaker 9 (25:08):
Then you got in two thousand and ten, they weren't
selling seafood here in Atlanta like that.

Speaker 6 (25:13):
The only seafood restaurant that was here was sponged Its.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
Yeah it was a little bit. Yeah, they weren't here,
But I started that.

Speaker 9 (25:20):
Not everyone is doing snow crab legs and all your
lamb chops all over the damn place, and everything is
every It's like where it's the creativity they can people.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
People can go back on each one of.

Speaker 9 (25:30):
Our stories and actually go back and see who started
what win He's looking at the timeline.

Speaker 3 (25:34):
The ladies in here hanging out with us, Keith Samdader,
seeing the poet Tarn Rutherford from A Flavor on Fox Soul.

Speaker 2 (25:41):
That definitely with us in the building. When we come back,
we got more to talk about.

Speaker 9 (25:44):
Man.

Speaker 2 (25:45):
I need to find out why they say are they single?
I ain't got no man.

Speaker 3 (25:50):
I need to know all ladies are. You're the hot
seat when we come back, go move, no care morning hustle,
So lor Rial.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
I'll say it.

Speaker 3 (26:00):
Tillian alt Walker's head loads out today.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
But we do have some ladies in the studio that
are doing that thing. Black Woman Magic is in the building.
Keeps maddening. She and a Fulton and Tarn Rutherford, three
ladies who all run successful restaurants in the city of Atlanta,
and it's being showcased on Fox Soul's TV show A Flavor.
But you wanted to talk about something else? Did you

(26:24):
answer what you want to ask them?

Speaker 3 (26:25):
We talked about this. Uh you mentioned everybody single, nobody married? Uh,
what's wrong with y'all?

Speaker 2 (26:32):
What's wrong with you?

Speaker 8 (26:33):
Are you?

Speaker 2 (26:34):
Are you saying?

Speaker 6 (26:36):
Are you saying?

Speaker 4 (26:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (26:38):
What's wrong with you?

Speaker 2 (26:41):
Beautiful?

Speaker 3 (26:42):
Blasing what they asked the first day you know what's
wrong with you, I'll talk about it ain't about me,
This ain't about me. Ask a question, listen, But you
can't ask a question with a question. You got to
ask you questions why why? Like I mean, comidation is real.
A lot of people are intimidated. You know, if you

(27:03):
if we make more money than most of our most
most people that we hang out.

Speaker 2 (27:06):
With, Okay, I don't know.

Speaker 9 (27:08):
I just have a different perspective.

Speaker 6 (27:10):
You know, it's not about money for me.

Speaker 2 (27:11):
Okay, I love that, and I applied black women.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
Y'all doing your thing right now, But I also see
a lot of black women that do a great things
are single, and y'all want to be.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
Successful.

Speaker 3 (27:23):
There are successful, but you have to deal with being alone,
you know what I'm saying, and not sharing that with someone.

Speaker 9 (27:30):
So well, it's not necessarily being alone. It's about being
selective who you choose to engage with. You know, just
either to date someone that's that's that's easy, but to
share you know, uh uh your space with and and
and you know, coming into our lives, you know, they
have access to a lot of things that most people
shouldn't have or won't have access to.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
You I feel like your space. I feel like what
you're explaining, and when we're having this conversation about you
guys being successful and single, I honestly feel like that
comes with whether you're a man or woman. When you
get to a certain amount of success and you have
a certain amount of access and a certain certain amount
of money, now you're weeding through people a little more.

Speaker 8 (28:10):
It's different for a male. I always say, be careful
what you ask for. A lot of times men want
someone you know, independent, this, that and the other. But
when you run a business, you have to be both
you know, and then you as a woman, you have
to learn to be submissive if they're worthy of being that.
So it's all those things, and where I'm at, I
can do all those things. It's just a matter of

(28:32):
finding someone that will allow me to be a boss
when I want to. But when I sit back, I
can allow you to do that and allow you to
be the male. And it's hard to find that turning
that switch on and off as needed. Yes, it's not
hard for me. It's hard for them. Oh come on now,

(28:58):
But do y'all find it hard to turn now?

Speaker 3 (29:00):
No? Like I said, I mean, is that a it'sculse.
I know some women that I know that are bosses.
They do have a hard time of turning down and
letting that man lead, and then they're blaming on him.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
But I'm like you not letting that man leave.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
I love disagree and my relationship. I couldn't be with
the man that can't leave. I just I just I
do that all day.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
Yeah, come home, and I don't.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
Want that in my relations I don't want to make
decisions in my relationship. If you can't leave me, then
we can't.

Speaker 2 (29:26):
We won't make it. We'll just say it like that.
Then all right, Well, ladies, stick around. We got more
for y'all coming up a little bit later on in
the show. We want to showy'all a little bit of love.
But coming up next, outers are going to do a
little something special for the people. Oh, y'all ain't ready
for this one. Y'all, ain't ready for this one. Man,
you want to lock in on this one? All right,
don't go nowhere. That's up next, y'all know what it is?

(29:51):
The morning hustles on and popping man loads out today
Kyle saying, Tulian, I'm here out to walkers in the
building and typically Lowe will be doing low shows, but
he's out this weekend. We're gonna do something different now
to what we got going on. If you Friday, right,
all right?

Speaker 3 (30:09):
So yeah, if you Friday, it's the only day of
the week where you can call in and say f
you to whoever you who tried you, stretched you, out
played you, or just breathed on your own whatever. You
can call in and get it off your chant, your boss,
your ex, your baby daddy, the person that took a
picture with your.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
Right chat as your kids not theirs. Y'all know.

Speaker 3 (30:29):
We talked about that earlier this week, So you can
call in eight six six hustle eight eight six six
four eight seven eight five three eight. We giving you
a chance to get it off your chest. So today
I got one, okay, and I'm going to be careful
with this one because uh, and I'm putting a disclosure
out These are just it's just the jokes. You want

(30:50):
to put this out there, because y'all y'all go see
why I said that. Today, my f you go to
and respectfully, politely, politely beyond.

Speaker 2 (30:59):
Jay, I hain't no way to politely say that, but
likely hives. I listen.

Speaker 3 (31:06):
I love y'all. Just I'm just doing this for the show, y'all.
I promise you this for entertainment, but I'm seeing it's
a little bit.

Speaker 4 (31:11):
No.

Speaker 2 (31:12):
I gotta give it to them because you know, earlier.

Speaker 3 (31:14):
This week, Grey Jay said they been pulling up to
the Brandy and Monica show and never took a picture
with Brandy. Come on, and I did see and Jeremiah
come on to the microok Now, Jeremiah's our digital producer.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
You saw that video. I did see the video of.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
Brandy walking through and Beyonce dunking off and looking like
she was hiding from Brett.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
I cannot confirm her, not that I didn't want to
get involved. Don't headlining do listen?

Speaker 3 (31:45):
No, I'm sorry. Look, if she's headlining the show, it's
Brandy and Monica. I really feel like you should at
least stop by hotel. Ain't brand tail Brady to come here.
We want to see her real quick exactly. It said hello,
what is wrong with that? And I know the behives, y'all.
I said, before y'all get at me. I'm just saying
it's only right to say hey to the headliner. That's

(32:06):
all I'm saying, so you're looking funny over there, Jim.

Speaker 2 (32:10):
I'm listening to we're listening. I'm putting by your comments
right now.

Speaker 3 (32:13):
That's why I'm scared to put this out, but I'm
just say it anyway. So f you, the JC and Beyonce,
and it's really not forget forget you because I want
to do a soft on them because I do like Beyonce.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
You were exed out to Listen, now, don't never not
with you, but just understand I did feel a certain way.
You're not saying something to b I. Oh you want
to know mine? Yeah, listen, man, it's twenty twenty five.

Speaker 4 (32:38):
Man.

Speaker 2 (32:38):
We are in a time period where people need to
stop treating people differently because we are all different. None
of us are exactly the same.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
Right.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
So I woant to send a big double middle finger
FU to the people that decided it was a good
idea to create something called the tall people meet Up?
What the hell?

Speaker 11 (32:58):
What the hell old people meet up? Have y'all been
seeing this on social media? They meeting up in different cities.
Everybody is six feet tall, six street five man after y'all, man,
Wenna short people kickback at you know what I'm saying
we want to get together two.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
Y'all real discriminatory, and I don't like it. I don't
like it. Oh that's why the one in Atlanta just
got canceled.

Speaker 3 (33:22):
I know y'all got another one coming up for New
Year's but man at that, yo, yo, I'm not to start.

Speaker 2 (33:27):
The short people kick back. Everybody five six and shorter,
he is invited go to my page out radio kickof
We're gonna get it going. If y'all man, tall people
meet up show inside is a six si what is
the numble? Eight six six hustle? A eight six six

(33:49):
four A seven eight five three eight. If you got
somebody you want to say, f you two, now's your
times shot.

Speaker 3 (33:56):
Hustle.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
I'm a hustle of the week. I were still here
with the ladies Keisha Madeleine, Siema Fulton and Tarn Rutherford,
the Ladies, the black women entrepreneurs doing anything in Atlanta
and also starring on a flavor of the show on
Fox Soul and out Send. I know you had a
question for him, what's up with this festival?

Speaker 4 (34:15):
Though?

Speaker 2 (34:15):
I think you know when I I like the idea,
especially if you focus on black women.

Speaker 6 (34:20):
Let og talk about that because I.

Speaker 2 (34:24):
Listen.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
I want to tell you listen, okay, before she said
maybe I could let me speak to your spirit. I
can see a festival, especially if it's focused on other
black women and black women's shelves and stuff like that.
I think it'd be dope. I think it could be
just as large as the Essence festival focused on.

Speaker 2 (34:44):
You know, the food industry. So I know it was
your idea speak on it though, Well.

Speaker 9 (34:49):
I saw the opportunity to work with five other dynamic
women that are in the same industry as I am,
and and that we can create something that has never
been done before, five of us working together in for industry,
showcasing other chefs, o the other restaurants, just showing the
best of Atlanta. It's never been done before by us.
I just showed an opportunity that had not been I
can see it.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
I can see it. Walk in the World Congress Center
or whatever, and there's women all over the place.

Speaker 4 (35:17):
You see it.

Speaker 6 (35:17):
We're gonna have male.

Speaker 2 (35:23):
Women, women, beautiful women.

Speaker 6 (35:28):
We hadn't got it.

Speaker 8 (35:29):
I'm a male dominating I think it's enough, though you
don't think it's not enough.

Speaker 6 (35:34):
Ones that I'm not talking about just and just about
circle not not.

Speaker 3 (35:38):
Just restaurant owners. But I'm talking about just chef women's
chef in restaurants. Like I think there's enough.

Speaker 2 (35:43):
So you're putting a difference.

Speaker 6 (35:44):
Yeah, that's a difference.

Speaker 2 (35:45):
We're talking.

Speaker 8 (35:46):
We're speaking owners because we're coming together as owners making
something like this happen. That is a major It's a
lot of work that's into That's why I was always
right riding the fence. You know, I did the Sweet
Auburn festivals. Chah, that's a lot of work.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
I mean, you don't really know.

Speaker 8 (36:03):
Shout out to anybody that does these festivals, right, And
now that we're kind of diving into it, of course,
Keisha gonna be the one that kind of lead us
and direct us to what we.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
Need to do.

Speaker 6 (36:13):
But at the end of the day, I like it.

Speaker 2 (36:15):
Yeah, yeah, I think I like that. No, but we
thank you guys. We appreciate everything that you're doing. You
guys are leading by a great example and all successful.

and congratulate y'all. You are Hustlers of the Week this week. Yeah, yeah,

(36:36):
fellas the Instagram getting their d M. They want to
take care of you. That's right, Atlanta our spirit. When
you're in Atlanta, support their restaurants. Can each of you
say your name and the restaurants for the people listening
so they can let people know exactly where to go.

Speaker 9 (36:52):
I'm Keisha market In, the owner of Blue Seafood House,
