This lively episode of The Morning Hustle Podcast serves up laughs, loyalty, and a little holiday magic. The crew talks to the cast of the new holiday movie ‘Unexpected Christmas’: Lil Rel Howery, Reagan Gomez, and Dominique Perry — who drop by to talk about their new film, which blends Black love, humor, and redemption just in time for the holidays. Lore’l’s Lo’Down then hits a somber but thought-provoking note as she reveals there are currently no hip-hop songs in Billboard’s Top 40 — the first time in 35 years this has happened. The crew unpacks what that means for rap culture, noting that artists like NBA YoungBoy and Cardi B barely cracked the Top 50 despite massive influence.

Wrapping up, Lore’l reports on YFN Lucci, who refused a plea deal that would’ve freed him early if he testified against Young Thug. His silence, she says, is seen by fans as a rare display of street loyalty amid Atlanta’s ongoing YSL legal saga.

Cow, Hello, Kyle, say till I'm in the building.

Speaker 5 (00:21):
We got a lot going on on the POT today,
first and foremost representing the movie Unexpected Christmas.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
We got a little real.

Speaker 5 (00:29):
We got reggae Gomans and Dominique Perry joining us on
the show today. It's Friday, so we got some other
things going on. Like I was just gonna let us
know what god a, please, you know.

Speaker 6 (00:41):
The monkey is out. The monkey is out, not the
monkeys you're thinking. Yeah, else, I'll tell you about the monkeys.
This is y'all don't know what I'm talking about, all
right for sure. Plus Load's gonna hold us down with
the lowdowns as usual.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Yes, absolutely, And it looks like Boothy how it's up
for somebody's ass literally juvenile. Surprised the hell out of
me with this story. And the Obamas is out and
about I don't think I like this. We need some
more security. Okay, let's talk all about it coming up
in a lowdown.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
And Plus, if people need something to watch this weekend,
you got them.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
Absolutely, there's definitely some things on my favorite I always
turned to Netflix. It is what it is. Okay, they
got the best shows. Plus it looks like Keiky Palmer
is getting called out. Y'all feel this or nah? We'll
talk all about it and I'll give you the shows
you need to know according to who me love.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Absolutely. Plus we got our Hustler of the week man.
She's gonna let you know how to make your networking
turn into money, you know what I mean? And Bill
Tricks career.

Speaker 5 (01:44):
We'll get into all of that, but first let's kick
things off right now with Kyle's message today and mine.

Speaker 7 (01:52):
Here's some quick inspiration to start your day execute Kyles
Flit of the Day.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Kyle's este to the day today is live for the experience.
Live for the experience.

Speaker 5 (02:06):
I think a lot of people are just not really
gaining experiences throughout their life. You ever see one of
those checklists that they put on social media where it's
like the average person has only been the three States
or the average person has never been here.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
You want to fill that list up. You don't want
to be like.

Speaker 5 (02:21):
The average person. You want to do way more than
the average person. You want to go places the average
person hasn't gone. You want to have experience the average
person doesn't get a chance to do it. You want
to put yourself in position to try and see and
live more things in your life.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Man.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
I think life is just about getting out here and
just doing everything you can while we got time. So
why not try new things. I hate when people say
I don't know about that. I don't want to do that.
That looks a little too crazy. No, gohead a bungee jump.
Jump at you, look at y'as.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
You gotta do.

Speaker 5 (02:57):
Okay, maybe bungee jump is going a little far, but
at the end of the day, do what you gotta
do to gain some experiences and enjoy your life.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Okay. Kyle's message of the day today is live for experience.

Speaker 8 (03:10):
Lorio Hassle, low down.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
On the morning Hustle.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Listen, man, Julie's here to relive history. In case you
didn't know, he started this whole thing.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Yikes. And speaking of starting this whole thing, I'm gonna
tell you where we not at right now. But first
let's start with Boosy badass. It looks like his badass
dogs and tour somebody's ass up. Okay, apparently he was
out of town when this happened.

Speaker 9 (03:41):
Next thing I know, I get a call like Boosy,
somebody tried to break in the creer. But listen, my
keen Corso caught that food slipping, beat him up, rain
him clean off the property.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
That's why I don't do no live food food dogs.
I got soldiers walking on fo lead and.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
Now everybody knows that, so they'll just come with a gun.
I do. I do get why people use dogs for security,
but then I just it will also like bother me.
If like that man that got bit would have shot
that dog, that would have been terrible, because I say
in the video, and you ever been bit by a

(04:16):
dog before?

Speaker 5 (04:17):
When I was a kid, I don't think I had
anything too crazy, but a dog did knit me like
on the cheek of my face before.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
That didn't feel good.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Same well, I actually got the side of my face
like damn there ripped off and like not even an
exaggeration by a rock waller. When I was younger, I
had to get like plastic surgery and everything on my
stage because of it. And let me tell you something,
don't feel good.

Speaker 6 (04:41):
I don't know about y'all, but the last thing I
worried about is pulling out a gun when the dog
chased me.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
I don't know. It's do you better pull out a
gun because that dog is gonna win. He tried, and
the dog still is gonna bite him. The dog is
going to be faster than you. Trust me.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
That's the Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Well, it looks like Juvenile is taking credit for something
that who would have even known. These two were friends.
Fifty Cent and Juvenile apparently used to be really close.
Not to say that they're not anymore, but they were
so close that it ended up changing fifty cents life.

Speaker 10 (05:16):
I got fifty cent of his record deal with Eminem.
Nobody in New York wanted too. Yeah, nobody wanted to
be bothered with fifty and fifty can go here, can
go there? And I was cool with him. I'm like, nah,
they heed my dude, I'm telling some money. I think
through the type of music that him doing and the
type of music that fifty doing with this thing, it's
going to work if you go with him.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
And it worked. Yeah, I remember when fifty cent had
it tough for him. He was going against Jah Rule,
who was the hottest in the streets at the time,
and then he had beef with jay Z when he
said the lines and how to rob and what Jay responded,
I'm about a dollar with the f fifty cent. We
really did not think fifty was going to get out

(05:56):
of that underground lane, and then next thing, you know,
he would. It's huge. Who the hell knew that juvenile
had to do with it. I believe they should have
brought him out during the cash Money, No Limit versus.

Speaker 5 (06:09):
I would have thought they would have had more music
over all these years too, if we'd have known that, right.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
Yeah, that's true. You know what's crazy. They did say
that there will be new music coming from fifty cent.
They're saying he's actually going to do a collaboration album
with Eminem. So Eminem needs all the help he could
get because I haven't listened to an album since Marshall Mather.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Yeah, it's been a while since he put out something.
I thought it was kind of dope.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
Yeah, absolutely not. I don't know what happened to Eminem,
but he went totally left and I didn't go with him.
But let's talk about some people that are not going
on the charts, and that's giving anyone in hip hop.
Right now, no rap songs are on the Billboard Hot
one hundred, Top forty for the first time in thirty

(06:54):
five years. I'm talking about since nineteen ninety hot. Like
the hottest song we got right now is the Young
Boy record shot Calling, and that's coming in at number
forty four, that is, And he got the biggest selling
tour right now. That's so crazy. Cardi B is right

(07:15):
behind him. Number forty eight was safe and Big X
the Plug got hell of a night. But I will
say this, we might not be in the top forty,
but Big X the Plug did still make history. He
has the longest active streak amongst rappers twenty seven weeks
he has been in the Hot one hundred charts, so
at least, like you know, we still kind of in there.

(07:37):
But can you believe that how much the rap game
and the culture we influenced so much and can't even
get in the top forty right now?

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Yeah, I mean that shows the state of the game
right now. Man in trouble man.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
So if we're comparing it February of nineteen ninety was
the last time this happened, and number forty one was
biz marquis just a friend, right, I will say, I
think young Boy is gonna surprise us because young Boy
wasn't even on the charts, let's be clear. And for
him to go from underground to forty four, he wasn't

(08:12):
even being played on the radio. So I do think
that he will shock us, and his songs might be
climbing up. I think at least top ten, I do.
And if it's not this one, it's gonna be one
very soon. I'm lurry y'all. That's the lowdown. You can
follow me at Star and lurry y'all. L O R
e ol or mona shout.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
Stick around man, alta. Walker is gonna let us know
why God A please yeh man?

Speaker 6 (08:38):
Some monkeys out here, man, yeah, some monkeys. And then
I gotta tell you all what's going on with the
monkey in Mississippi when we come back.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
That's monkey business.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Don't move, stop monkeying around.

Speaker 6 (08:51):
Social media and they'll take us plenty too, But God
a't please, Holy what alson?

Speaker 3 (08:58):
Walker? And yo? You know what it is?

Speaker 5 (08:59):
More hustle with loreal and Kyle said till he end
how to Walker said, and it's time for him to
let us know.

Speaker 11 (09:05):
Why God he please, yep, yep, y'all listen, man, it's
been a week, and I don't know if you know
what's going on.

Speaker 6 (09:15):
In Mississippi, but Mississippi had a full blown Planet of
the Eighth moment this week, and little Caesar is on
the loose.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
I don't know if you heard.

Speaker 6 (09:25):
The truck carrying the lamb monkeys flipped over and the
monkeys had a new orders jail break two point on.

Speaker 12 (09:32):
And God, hey, please, the crazy part about it, the
driver gonna tell the police that the monkeys had COVID, herpes, hepatitis, diabetes, mesothelioma,
all that, all the human diseases.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
But tell me why did they lie on the monkeys?

Speaker 6 (09:54):
They lied on them because so they came back and
the university said they ain't even had.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
None of these diseases, and they kept some of them.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
Man, and.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
God ain't please.

Speaker 6 (10:06):
And Caesar is looking for y'all because three of the
monkeys are still loose, three of them from plenty of
the age. Yeah, so we're looking for these monkeys. Hold on,
I think I think we got somebody on the line.
Hold on, yeah, who is this man? Oh lord, oh god,

(10:27):
is one of the monkeys? Man, I have time, Hey monkey,
don't we don't know what you're saying. Man, you need
to interpret. You got somebody around you can tell you
what you said.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
What you're saying?

Speaker 4 (10:36):
Man, Hey, Alton, is your boy Gerald John's coming out
here from the South season the boy monkey handler? Okay, okay,
monkey business happening out?

Speaker 3 (10:47):
All right? What happened? Because I don't know what he's saying?

Speaker 4 (10:49):
He mad though, Well, first he wants to give a
shout out to your boys down in New Orleans. He
got that idea of the jail break from them.

Speaker 6 (10:54):
Actually, okay, okay, okay, okay, Oh shoot, oh my god, god,
he mad?

Speaker 3 (11:02):
He mad from so said.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
He's seeking you guys lying on him about people herpy
thing allegations out here there all lies.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
Oh, let me hear some mo from him, because they
just let him talk.

Speaker 6 (11:14):
Man, go ahead, get it off your chests, man, yeah,
let him get it off his chests.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
Man, We got time, you got talk.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
Yeah, you guys are fluent in monkey. But he also
wanted to shout out laureokyle.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
He's doing shout out. You why monkey shoutouts are crazy?
That is, I don't know if I like this. Is
this a monkey that was on a.

Speaker 4 (11:48):
Gap shirt something about a cash grabbing there too?

Speaker 6 (11:52):
Give this guy all right, man, listen, All I'm saying is, hey, man,
find these monkey man, I find the these monkeys. Man,
These monkeys don't deserve this shout out to the monkeys.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
But before we get up.

Speaker 6 (12:04):
Out of here, I gotta I gotta give them a
special tribute.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
This is a special.

Speaker 6 (12:08):
Tribute to all the free monkeys out there, y'all, rdy brother,
shake that monkey?

Speaker 3 (12:13):
Come on out, ho about it? If you see a monkey, hey,
just shout out to all the monkeys. Hey, hey, shout out.
He shout out to all the monkeys that on the streets.
Come on.

Speaker 12 (12:26):
This is exactly how he shake that monkey over.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Yeah, what do you want to do that? If you
out there take that monkey.

Speaker 12 (12:37):
That's a guy.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
They thank you out walker there. You have a man
after walking.

Speaker 12 (12:42):
You know why call me a monkey.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
Too?

Speaker 1 (12:48):
I ain't need that shutout?

Speaker 9 (12:51):
Shakem up.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
Some more than Ulco cash crop ten questions that game?

Speaker 1 (13:00):
I tell Tom for us to get to that thousand
dollar cash grab we got Erica on the line representing
out of Raleigh, North Carolina.

Speaker 3 (13:07):
Morning. Let's go eat? Uh huh?

Speaker 1 (13:09):
You ready to do it?

Speaker 3 (13:10):
Yes? I'm ready.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Do you feel like you're gonna do better than people
that you hear playing on a radio on a regular basis?

Speaker 3 (13:17):
I listen to you guys all the time, So I
hope yeah, you know what to She's given focus, she's
given ready, she already told us she's a winner. So
does it sound like a thousand dollars?

Speaker 5 (13:29):
It may think so? All right, let's give you the rules.
Here's how it goes down. You got sixty seconds to
answer ten questions. For every correct answer, we'll give you
ten dollars. Get on ten, right, you want a thousand dollars?

Speaker 3 (13:39):
What she said she listened to us.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
If you don't know her to answer, you can say passed.

Speaker 5 (13:43):
We'll come back to that question as long as we
have time and make sure the answer you give is
the one that you want, because.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
We have to go with your answer. Our judge is
big med. He don't play.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
You got he played? Sometimes sometimes he plays. Sometime he
get the questions wrong, maybe wanting to beat him up.

Speaker 5 (13:59):
Don't you be man, they'd be ready to smash me
all right, that we'll rock with big men fall out,
all right, that we want to see you do well.
So Loriel's got a free answer for you.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
Okay. The answer I'm going to give you is very important. Okay,
the answer is going to be the Bronx. What is it?
The Bronx? The Bronx.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
Okay, Okay, we got that. I got sixty seconds on
the clock. The clock begins. Man's three to one. Here
we go. Who played the role of Wakanda's King T'Challa
in Black Panthers. Kath which rapper released the album Good Kid,

(14:43):
Mad City. Okay, spell the word beautiful.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
B E A U C if you will.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
Which borough of New York City is Yankee Stadium?

Speaker 3 (14:56):
In the Bronx?

Speaker 1 (14:58):
Which planet is close? Says to the sun.

Speaker 4 (15:03):
Past?

Speaker 1 (15:04):
What is one hundred and fifty six minus eighty seven?

Speaker 3 (15:09):
You like this? Minus six?

Speaker 5 (15:16):
Which US holiday is celebrated on the third Monday in January?

Speaker 3 (15:22):
Martinus?

Speaker 1 (15:24):
And music?

Speaker 5 (15:24):
What does DJ stand for? It's jockey in the US?
How many stars are on the flag?

Speaker 3 (15:32):
Christy?

Speaker 1 (15:33):
Which city is nicknamed the Big Easy?

Speaker 3 (15:37):
New Orleans? Time? Damn he was over there googling all
I'm in. Let me tell you I know because you
said chat with booth. What do you say, bot y'all
giving her that? Okay, you know, we know she googled that.

Speaker 13 (15:56):
One.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
That was she said that quick. Yeah, she was trying
to get for the next question. You get what I'm
trying to say. All right, Well, you did amazing and
you almost one one thousand dollars. Is the crazy thing
if you would have been a bigger Kendrick Lamar fan,
which Mappa, Yeah, I did google that one. Let me

(16:18):
tell you that your Google fingers is sick. Let me
tell you something. I ain't never heard nobody type that
fast in my life. But but like, did you take
that class in school where you had to like put
the paper over your hand where you tight? Oh, I can't,
I can't tell my type game.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
It's crazy.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
Okay, this is one that I missed that you missed. Okay,
which planet is closest to the sun. That would be Mercury. Mercury. Yeah,
everything else you got right, that's too wrong that you missed.
That's eight right, that's eighty. Not bad at all.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
She smart. She went to NC State, so big shout
out to you for that. Big Google is extremely smart.
All right, Erika eighty dollars is yours say? That's not bad?
You represented?

Speaker 3 (17:07):
Okay, thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
You're welcome. For everybody else out there listening, if you
want to do better and win the whole thousand, come on, man,
text cash and seven one zero zero seven. You could
be up next on that thousand dollars cash Grass.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Loril Hassle, low down, can you go down?

Speaker 13 (17:24):
Hustle?

Speaker 5 (17:25):
All right, let's get to it. It looks like the
odd couple was coming clean on their.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
Relationship, and I'll tell you who that is in just
a second. First, let's talk about some of these Halloween costumes.
I've seen fab and Trey Songs dress up as each other,
and these lace sprints are going too far, Like fab
had the Tyler Perry corn rolls.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
You know what I'm talking about, Larry Jamar Moore joint
obviously fake ones.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
Yeah, And I mean I get I get that wee
getting in the character. But I never thought in aka
trillion years, I would see Fabulous with a lace front
wig on, whether it was for Halloween or not. And
this is exactly why, Jess, yesterday, we all said we
hate Halloween.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
We didn't all say that. You said it.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
Wasn't just me, it was majority of our callers saying
it was the devils all in. And plus they don't
like when they get skittles for Halloween. Nobody should give
out skittles. Discussion work tropical tropical Green. I would never
either Skittle or Starburst if you paid me. Okay, but anyway,

(18:29):
it looks like y I FM. Lucci was trying to
get out of jail. We all know that he was
facing like two hundred years in jail, something crazy, and
they were dangling a carrot over my guy's head.

Speaker 8 (18:44):
She'll try to trying to like, you know, these little women,
tell me he can be in a bed right now.
It's something go home, date to date, I said. I
told her, I'm go home anyway. Man, come on home
and go back to a staff. We're playing spade. You
can't have a tivity.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
We'll let you go home today if you tell on
young Thug. Okay, Well, I found Lucci refuse to have
anything to say about Young Thug, focused on his own
case and look at God. They are both home. No
longer do they have an issue and he didn't telling him.
That goes to show you though, like because they had

(19:20):
real problems right, and Luci could have just walked away
scott free by saying whatever he had to say, but
he stood up and did what he had to do
as far as street wise, if you want to take
that route, okay. Kodak Black now has some interrogation video
that is circulating of him. Jack Boy, his former real

(19:41):
close friend, put it out and some people are saying
Kodak actually held it down in the video. They said
that he didn't tell, but the way that you know,
jack Boy released it obvious reasons. He does not like
Kodak anymore and he wanted the narrative to get out
there that Kodak told at some point in time. Some
people like are saying, like, you know, I wouldn't call

(20:02):
it telling, so I might have just backfired on them.

Speaker 6 (20:05):
I know I'm telling if our wife and I'll be out,
everybody going to jail.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
You are crazy. Some people are thugging it in these streets,
and I'm talking about the Obamas. Could you imagine going
out to eat. You're sitting at the bar and you
turn your head and see the Obamas on Date Night?

Speaker 1 (20:29):
Right, Sometimes we go out.

Speaker 13 (20:31):
We still like dining out, going to dinners in DC
or wherever we are pretty and basic.

Speaker 3 (20:37):
I am too old to I can't do dinner in
a movie. I never could. Actually I could do dinner
or a movie. Fall asleep in the movie. I will.
I will fall asleep in the movie. Girls. Now, I
know they got secret service and all that good stuff.
And I don't like coming up there when people come
up to me when I'm eating. But I'm gonna have
to take that. That's the risk I'm gonna have to take.

(20:58):
You see the Obamas out, I'm definitely gonna come on over, Like,
can I get a picture?

Speaker 1 (21:06):
I'm with you, I'm doing the same thing. Let me
get a selfie. I'm Michelle. You get a bit here too.
Let's do it this way, and we talk about telling
anybody I'm your cousin after this, I would be so
I'm trying to be their child.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
Do they want to adopt me? Or something?

Speaker 10 (21:18):
Like?

Speaker 3 (21:19):
We just love them, don't we? Like I couldn't imagine
being out at Friday's now I'm joking they ain't eating that. No, Damn,
am I I'm getting me that? Am I?

Speaker 1 (21:31):
Any No, I'm wrong with Friday save down to Earth Day.

Speaker 3 (21:33):
I ain't been to Fridays since I was probably like sixteen.

Speaker 6 (21:37):
I don't do it's like that because I go all
the time to get it.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
They got the best chipping. Once they took that Jack
Daniel salmon off the menu, I went with it was
last but not least. It looks like Tony Braxton is
finally ready to claim her husband Brian. Everyone calls him Bergman.
Said weird that we call him Bergman a little bit.

Speaker 7 (22:00):
But I'll call him that a stunt up, I say, Brian,
We've been friends for over twenty five years and a
love connection started happening.

Speaker 3 (22:07):
Happening like a couple of years ago.

Speaker 7 (22:09):
But y'all just celebrated your one year one year anniversary.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
What y'all do to celebrate?

Speaker 7 (22:12):
We went to My favorite place is Saint and Saint
Regis near Hilton Head. Really this our getaway spot, maybe
not after today.

Speaker 3 (22:21):
This is the couple I never thought that I would love,
but they're growing on me immensely likely. I thought they
were an odd couple, I really did. But when I
see like how he treats her, talks to her, I
think it's really sweet and she brings out a different
side of Bermin.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
I just never saw this coming me I didn't feel
like this is weird.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
It's weird. I mean, she's had some pretty bad marriages
before this. So if you have somebody that's giving you
the world and treating you like a queen, who cares
that by the other people don't understand what it is.
I'm Louri Yell. That's the lowdown. You could follow me
at Star and Lauria Yell, l O ri E l
or Manna, just.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
Like their relationship was unexpected.

Speaker 5 (23:02):
When we come back, we have the stars of Unexpected
Christmas joining us on the show. Good Lo Ro, Reggae
Go Mass, Dominique Perry will be here in just a
matter of a minute. Once again, it's tomorning Hustle with
Lorill and Kyle saying, Tillian and we have an open
door policy. Y'all know that we got guests in the
studio today. Man, this is an amazing cast, amazing actors

(23:25):
here to bring us their new project, Unexpected Christmas.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
And we're gonna start ladies first, this reggae.

Speaker 5 (23:32):
Go man, thank you for being inim its Dominique Perry
and he was just here not too long ago. Man,
friends of the show, my guy Chicago little relevant, how.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
Y'all feeling refreshed.

Speaker 1 (23:50):
I got this new project coming out.

Speaker 5 (23:52):
You know what I mean, Chris exact exactly.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
It's exciting to see this. I feel like black Christmas
movies have become a staple. So how does it feel
like for you guys to be contributing to what seems
like a tradition. Now, Yes, it has to be a
great film.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
Oh, it feels so great. I love Christmas movies.

Speaker 13 (24:13):
I especially love Black Christmas movies, especially especially love Christmas
movies with me and them.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
I'm loving it.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
I'm loving it.

Speaker 14 (24:22):
Yeah, and then it's something that I feel like Christmas
movies is something that will never go out of style. Yeah,
Like every single year I did another Christmas film, and
it's like every single year they're like.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
They playing it again and were watching it again. It's
like it's.

Speaker 14 (24:34):
Something because it's so much joy and family we get together,
it's warm, it's just a really good feeling.

Speaker 5 (24:40):
If you're just suiting in the Hustlers right now in
the studio, we have the cast of the movie Unexpected
Christmas hanging.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
Out with us.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
So what would you say besides this movie or a
film that you've been in that's holiday, what would you
say would be your all time favorite holiday movies? Oh? Well,
for me, I love the sound of music.

Speaker 13 (24:58):
It's not technically a Christmas movie, but I've watched it
every Christmas since I was younger.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
I don't think I've ever seen that fully through.

Speaker 1 (25:06):
I don't think so, I've never seen it.

Speaker 13 (25:10):
It's like a Wizard of Oz, like it's one of
those classics.

Speaker 9 (25:13):
Maybe I blown like a tonight NBC spec like it
was like what are those things?

Speaker 3 (25:21):
Home Alone?

Speaker 10 (25:22):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (25:23):
I like alone?

Speaker 14 (25:24):
Even the music even though, because and that's the reason
why I love that we have a soundtrack front right now. Yeah,
because it's like even with Home Alone, like when the
music starts, it just it does something.

Speaker 3 (25:40):
Everybody to gather mytery.

Speaker 13 (25:42):
The music makes you think.

Speaker 3 (25:46):
You exactly what about you?

Speaker 4 (25:47):
Bro?

Speaker 3 (25:47):
What's your favorite Christmas stories?

Speaker 9 (25:52):
But it's a wonderful life. It's so good. That's such
a it's crazy you never seen. It's a wonderful.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
You've never seen.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
It's a wonderful light serious serious watch it this year.

Speaker 9 (26:08):
Like it's so interesting because like I've watched you you know,
as a kid, but when I became an adult, it's
so much better as a grown guy.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
So it's like oh yeah, you know another one.

Speaker 3 (26:17):
I like Scrooge with girl, Yeah favorite.

Speaker 5 (26:21):
I like silly so like I'll throw out there National
Lampus Christmas Vacation.

Speaker 14 (26:26):
Yeah was amazing, every one of those classic.

Speaker 5 (26:30):
You know, we're here now with the cast of Unexpected Christmas,
Little Real Reggae go Mass Domin and Nick Perry hanging
out with us.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
We got so much more to talk about.

Speaker 5 (26:39):
Don't go anywhere Unexpected Christmas November fourth, in theaters in
the morning, Hustle.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
Back at it once again. Baby, it's the morning.

Speaker 5 (26:51):
Hustle lo Real, Kyle say it, Tillian Alton Walker is here.
But today we got the cast of Unexpected Christmas hanging
out with us, Little reggae man Many Perry in the building.
We got to say congratulations on the marriage, right yeah.

Speaker 1 (27:08):
Yeah. People always think helpen, think vagans. I don't know why.

Speaker 9 (27:15):
The long Yeah, really, you could actually just go and
go in front of a judge and just do it.
I was doing my comedy festival in Chicago, and she
called me because I wanted to do this anyway for
a while, and because we're still going to do a beautiful,
big ceremony for but we've been so busy you know
what I'm saying. So it's just we have and I
felt like God was waiting on us to do this.
So she called me like, really, we can do it.

Speaker 15 (27:37):
I was like, all right, and I have my team
set everything up and we throw the van eyes, put
on a little outfits old judge and it was and
then you can get it where you don't have to
have witnesses there and stuff. So yeah, if I could
be honest, I think some people overthink with these weddings, right.
I think it put strife in a lot of these
relationships because they've done all it. They doing stuff they

(27:58):
ain't never did before it together yet. Number one, Yeah, y'all.

Speaker 9 (28:01):
Playing in this wed and spinning all this bread and
y'all haven't even figured out yall system yet for real.
And so then that's why it's usually strifing that I
love Danella and I was just ready for us to
just hold I've been we've been holding it down like
this is who I want to be with. And since
we've been made, it feels different now in a great way.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
Yeah, when we come.

Speaker 5 (28:18):
Back more with the cast of Unexpected Christmas, they're here, Man,
Little rel Reggae go Man's Dominique Perry hanging out with
us on the Morning Hustle. We are Hustle, Lorio and
Kyle said Tillian Alta Walker, it's the Morning Hustle Show.
We got a little real reggae go man's Dominique Perry
in the building. They're the starts in a new movie,

(28:39):
Unexpected Christmas.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (28:42):
If I didn't notice anything from the film, I know
that we now know that matching pajamas are toxic because
in the beginning we see you two and matching pajamas.
But it wasn't off sweet, right it is because it
wasn't all sweet with the matching pajamas. Well I wanted
it to be. Yes, that's why you got the pajama.
I think it was sweet.

Speaker 9 (29:00):
Still you do in the moment, Well, I think it
was week that's funny that that's toxic.

Speaker 1 (29:06):
That ain't toxic?

Speaker 3 (29:07):
Well it could be if if it's one.

Speaker 9 (29:10):
Movie starts a lot of conversations, literally, because I look
at things that Richard did and I don't think it
was his fault.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
You don't get it, that's the nickname.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
I feel like I got to defend Richard.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
I wasn't I watched it.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
Now know he was a certain extent.

Speaker 3 (29:31):
No, not too idiots, It wasn't you wasn't I don't
believe he was. Well can you can we look at
giving the boy his mine right now? So who would
be brandy and who would be monitors?

Speaker 14 (29:40):
Well, I'm brandy and I'm.

Speaker 3 (29:47):
That's me.

Speaker 5 (29:50):
But I say he was somewhat of a player because
I know we're not giving too much away of the movie.

Speaker 1 (29:53):
But he has a conflict with these two ways. It's
not a player.

Speaker 9 (29:56):
But without me saying who, he didn't know that they
knew each other.

Speaker 1 (30:03):
But so you were.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
Break no.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
Ladies for women?

Speaker 9 (30:13):
Like you mean.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
To tell me you think most guys is only.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
Dating you If we're dating he's.

Speaker 9 (30:23):
I'm a single most you think it's had a bit?
I had a bit, I told I remember telling my
wife he this before we got married. I said, baby,
if you think I'm a dope dude, you think I
was just sitting around until.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
You showed up.

Speaker 9 (30:38):
And so when I met you, I had to get
like I needed a grace period to even get rid of.

Speaker 3 (30:44):
But my thing is.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
Like about this reason, that's what it is.

Speaker 3 (30:51):
But you know what, Richard was never open with that.

Speaker 14 (30:54):
Now But first off, I didn't even know Richard was single,
because I just I thought that we were.

Speaker 3 (30:59):
What did Richard?

Speaker 9 (31:00):
Okay, I don't want to give too much, ways a
little bit of the beginning. You are here, let's talk
about this. When your character asks Richard, what are we.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
Which is the scariest question, core Man answer, honestly, we're
having fun.

Speaker 1 (31:18):
That is the answer.

Speaker 3 (31:20):
For some reason, Ladies, you don't hear the truth. Well
the truth, you don't know the truth participating.

Speaker 13 (31:29):
But wait, the truth is I am gaining multiple people
and I'm having a gree Why.

Speaker 3 (31:33):
Did you say that? Why didn't you say you bring
that up?

Speaker 1 (31:38):
I'm kind of back on your side because you asked
the question and he got a direct answer.

Speaker 3 (31:41):
No, he didn't know.

Speaker 9 (31:42):
He says, we're having fun because this thing about it
you talking about, especially dating the black one, they're educated,
they're they're like overly intelligent.

Speaker 14 (31:51):
When it comes to day a relationships, you really specifically
imagine for jomics shows that we're in a relationship.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
You are two people just in the same as a couple.

Speaker 14 (32:06):
Oh never mind, I can't God, this.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
Is unexpected Christmas, everybody, thank you all for being here.

Speaker 3 (32:18):
And we appreciate.

Speaker 1 (32:22):
This is fun.

Speaker 3 (32:25):
She just watches it, so you don't have to. Here
are loans shows, and you know, I'm super excited about this.
These are all the shows you need to know, according
to who me Low And of course Unexpected Christmas is
something we want you to check out. I got a
chance to see it. We just spoke with the cast, obviously,

(32:47):
and definitely time for the holiday movies. I don't care
what Mariah said. She says it's not time yet, but
it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Okay, So
big shout out to them. We did the premiere in
Atlanta and it was everybody and their mama came out
to see the film. So big shout out to them.
And we definitely want to make sure we support black shows,

(33:11):
black movies, black producers, black film directors, black writers, you know,
so shout out to them for that. Now, this is
something that grinded my gears. Oh my god. Number one
on Netflix, everybody is talking about the perfect neighbor. This
neighbor definitely was far from perfect. So it's a story.

(33:36):
It was actually a national headline story that they now
have a documentary about. And this thing is extremely sad.
So it focuses around a family that or this neighborhood.
I will say that I had a bunch of kids
and in this neighborhood, these kids would often play. There
was a field next to a couple of houses and

(33:57):
they would play baseball and and all that, and a
woman moved in. She did not like that the kids
were playing and what she was calling her property. So
this happened in Florida, and let's just say it took
a turn from there for the absolute worst. Oh my goodness,

(34:18):
it is devastatingly sad. It is just a very sad story.
And the story goes that the mother went to approach
the neighbor, a mother of some of the kids, after
the neighbor snatched the iPad from one of the kids,
and needless to say, she shot that mother. And oh,

(34:39):
this was such a tough documentary to watch. I know
you watched it too out and like I said, it's
number one on Netflix. Everyone is talking about it. It
is a tough watch, but I will say it is
definitely something that you should tune into. Another thing on Netflix,
I said we would talk about The Love is Blind.
It's finally come out, The reunion, the whole season is out.
What a disaster. The worst part of the whole thing

(35:03):
I thought would be the relationships, but no, it was
actually a guy's mill regimen. So one of the guys
on the show. I would this would have made me
break up with him immediately once they got out of
the pods, because you know, they meet behind the wall,
they decide that they want to get engaged just based
off of conversation. Well, when he moved in with the girl,

(35:24):
she found out that every single morning for breakfast, he
blends a chicken cutlet, a chicken breast cooked with crystal
light and water and drinks it. What type of serial
killer stuff is he on? Could you imagine?

Speaker 1 (35:44):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (35:45):
Disgusting either way, there was a this black couple was
like the should they have like should they take like
fundamental tests? Like I feel like this guy was a
little off and by off, I mean like a special
needs right And I think because she didn't see his

(36:06):
motion or this is what she said, she didn't realize
how far gone he was because he was talking. But
then he'll just start busting out, crying out of nowhere.
This season is a little crazy. I would check it
out if you want to see mayhem. Okay, my love
is blind out now. Okay, I'm worry y'all. That's low shows.
Those the shows you need to know. According to who.

Speaker 1 (36:27):
Me love sticking around. Our hustler of the week is
on the way.

Speaker 6 (36:31):
Don't move.

Speaker 1 (36:31):
It's some more hustle.

Speaker 3 (36:33):
I'm a hustler.

Speaker 15 (36:34):
I'm a hustle.

Speaker 3 (36:36):
It's the hustle of the week.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
Hustle yo, some on a hustle show.

Speaker 5 (36:39):
Lorille Kyle said to lean in the building, you know
how we're doing, man. We got to honor people that
are doing great things on the show and today are
hustler of the week.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
Man.

Speaker 5 (36:48):
She's all about you making the right connections. We have
the CEO of the Master Connector Agency, Nicole Harmon point
the sword y.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
Yeah, in the buildings.

Speaker 2 (37:02):
Feel great, honest, glory to God to be here.

Speaker 3 (37:05):
Thank you for having me on you all amazing show.

Speaker 1 (37:07):
Absolutely.

Speaker 13 (37:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (37:09):
And you in this building, girl, You'll be in every building. Okay.
I know whatever I'm at an event or anything, I
know that you're going to be there and you're definitely
connecting to die. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
Yes, that's what that's why I created this agency, the
Master Connective Agency. So my background is I was on
Wall Street for twenty one years as an equity trader
and an investment banker, and when I would go to
these corporate Wall Street events, I wouldn't see my friends
that were in the industry or entrepreneurs or that we're
doing great things in these rooms. But then vice versa,
when I would go hang out with my friends that

(37:40):
were on actors or TV or radio, I wouldn't see
corporate executives in their rooms. So God gave me the vision, said,
You're going to create a space where you're bringing them
together because they need each other. Entrepreneurs need corporate executives
for business funding, to help them understand how to scale
their business, or just sponsorships partnerships, and businesses need influencers
and entrepreneurs to get the messaging out there so that
they could be the business of choice. So I created

(38:02):
a room called the Room where the deals are done,
and I bring in a Marque celebrity and I interview
them to give us their career trajectory, to tell us
how they got.

Speaker 3 (38:09):
From point A to point Z.

Speaker 2 (38:11):
The room consists of entrepreneurs, executives, industry leaders all in
one room, and we're just networking and then I have
Babs from that game Social She does a networking bingo
that forces you to talk to other people. Yeah, so
it's really really good. So many deals are done in
the room. Two people have met in my room and
launch the business together.

Speaker 3 (38:29):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
People have got job opportunities. One girl stop the other
dance that might event change her life.

Speaker 5 (38:33):
Wow, that's amazing because I know a lot of times
people have problems just even you might even be in
the room for a quote unquote mixer or a networking event,
and still people have a thing that they're kind of
reserved and they don't always have the energy or the
know how to reach out and even talk to people
all the time. So the fact that you put them
in a position that forces them to talk, that's kind
of key.

Speaker 3 (38:54):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
And people say that when they come to this room,
people know that they're there to help you, So they
already going with the mindset that I'm going in to
add value to somebody else, so that when you do
talk to them, there's no guard up. They're like, I know,
I'm going into this networking space, so whoever's coming to me,
I'm able to provide opportunities for them.

Speaker 3 (39:09):
So what about the people that are they get into
space right, and they're not like maybe as friendly as you, right,
and maybe they do have that initial conversation, but they're
stuck there. You know. Maybe they even decide on a
dale in the room, but then they're like, hey, how
do I move forward beyond that? What would be That's
a great question.

Speaker 2 (39:27):
So I have people that come from our time that
they're shy, right, Like they're phenomenal people, but they just
don't know how to get the conversation started. So the
three networking tips, and I talk about it in my
book The Master Connected Agency, The Ultimate Guide to Building
Connections for life and business success. Yes sure, sure, yes,
but the three networking Tips is one lead with value.
So I tell people all the time when they meet people,

(39:48):
they're always going with an ask. They're always like, oh,
can you help me with this? Especially when you have
a stature like you have an amazing radio show Lorial,
So people probably ask you for things all the time
when they meet you every day, right exactly, versus saying
you have an amazing radio show, How can I help you?

Speaker 3 (40:02):
What are your twenty twenty five goals? What are you
working on? Like?

Speaker 2 (40:04):
What do you need right? Can I help you market it?
Can I help you get a corporate sponsorship?

Speaker 4 (40:08):
Like?

Speaker 1 (40:08):
What do you need help with?

Speaker 2 (40:09):
Not tell people want to leave with value because that
sets you apart from the other ninety percent that are
leading with an ask. And then the second thing I
tell people to do is provide when you get the
when you get the opportunity, make sure you're doing good business.
Oh my god, good business is so hard to come
by these days, so people will market you. If you're
doing good business, that's free press for you. But if
you're doing bad business, that that gets market It's the

(40:29):
same way. And the third thing is when you go
to these events, follow up. That's so important. So when
we go I go to events all the time, like
glry Eel said've seen me at different places. When you
get people's contacts, it stays in your purse, stays.

Speaker 3 (40:40):
In your wallet.

Speaker 1 (40:40):
You never find that's as far as I go.

Speaker 3 (40:42):
Exactly right, you forget it. But I tell you to
follow up.

Speaker 2 (40:45):
Within twenty four to forty eight hours and say it
was a pleasure meeting you. I would love to get
on your calendar for coffee, for lunch, dinner, or just
a zoom call just to understand what your twenty twenty
five goals are.

Speaker 1 (40:55):
Ye okay, Gngratulations to you for everything that you got
going on. Mister Cole Harmon plate.

Speaker 3 (40:59):

Speaker 1 (41:01):
