reportedly ordering the National Parks to remove slavery signs and
exhibits that are being displayed in these different museums as well.

First and foremost, everybody's been sharing on social media and
talking about the Delta State student that was found hanging
from a tree Delta State University in Grenada, Mississippi. Twenty
one year old Trey Read. He was the student and
he was found man hanging from a tree on campus,
not far from the cafeteria. Here's the crazy part. Every
(40:47):
time something like this happens, they say there's no signs
of foul play.
Speaker 1 (40:52):
But he jump up there by himself, makes no, damn sense.
Speaker 2 (40:55):
I hate when they do that.
Speaker 6 (40:56):
I remember when they found the twin brothers hanging and
Georgie and they said the same thing with them. There
was no foul play, escapegoat for getting away. We're murdering
black men.
Speaker 1 (41:08):
Is exactly. Here's what the officials of the university had
to say.
Speaker 5 (41:12):
Delta State staff discovered a deceased individual on campus. University
police and local authorities were immediately notified and are conducting
an active investigation. I've spoken to Trey's family and expressed
our heartbreak.
Speaker 3 (41:24):
Check this out now, right, So that was Trey at
Delta State University. Now, as we're waking up this morning,
we're hearing about a second hanging also in Mississippi, where
a man was found near Vicksburg Casino, which is outside
of Jackson, Mississippi. They say he was found Monday near
AmeriStar Casino. His name is Corey Zuccatis. He's a branded

native to believe to be a homeless guy. And this
is again the second one reported for this week, possibly
the same day. And guess what they said there. Police
say no evidence of foul play.
Speaker 1 (41:55):
Has been found so far.
Speaker 3 (41:57):
I'm like, come on, man, come on, man, We're not stupid, yo,
I'm pulling.
Speaker 1 (42:01):
My child from Delta. God whatever school that is Delta.
Speaker 4 (42:05):
You got a child that, if I had one, I'm
pulling You're going to another school. That's scary. You got
a child in college. I mean, I'm pretty sure you
like you come home.
Speaker 2 (42:14):
Not the only place that this has happened.
Speaker 6 (42:16):
It's just the fact that I'm trying to figure out
when there are hangings, why there is not a way
for them to do better investigations to find out how
we got here, Like Doubta State have to have cameras.
Speaker 3 (42:27):
No signs of foul playhounds crazy because a person hanging
from a tree is a.

Sign of foul play what you're talking about.
Speaker 4 (42:34):
I mean, of course they're trying to hit the suicide.
Speaker 6 (42:38):
I actually had a classmate when I was younger hanging himself,
but he was in his home, hung himself with a tie,
Like you don't You're not going to make a noose
and then go outside and hang yourself from a tree
like a lynching.
Speaker 2 (42:51):
That's a lynching. Like that's something to look into.
Speaker 3 (42:54):
Now we all are going to be waiting to find
out what happens in the investigation of both of these situations.
It's sad this kind of thing is happening in twenty
twenty five. I know it's not as major as this,
but I wanted to touch based on the fact that
there's also, I guess a movement going on with Trump
reportedly ordering the National Parks to remove slavery signs and
exhibits that are being displayed in these different museums as well.

And there's this historic picture of the black man displaying
all the marks on his back from being whipped, and
those kind of things are being removed.
Speaker 1 (43:28):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 6 (43:29):
My thing is what is it with him in black
history that he has such a big problem with.
Speaker 3 (43:34):
The quote that's being used in this removal of black
history is they said the order titled quote restoring truth
insanity to American history.
Speaker 2 (43:43):
The truth is in the pictures that we're looking at.
Speaker 3 (43:46):
That's why, last, but not least, as we head out
on this, when this story breaks about the Trump administration
giving HBCUs more funding, That's why I look at that, like, Yo,
they're beating us up over here than acting like they're
giving us something over here. It's just like just so
y'all can act like, look, he's giving us something on
the backhand, he's beating us.
Speaker 6 (44:03):
The hell on the just still taking funding away from
things like PBS, and they have a partnership with Howard University,
so one way or another, you take away from the
education of black people.
Speaker 2 (44:13):
You're doing this on purpose.
Speaker 3 (44:14):
And they're dividing us with our Latino brothers and sisters
because it says they're boosting the HBCU funding after cutting
grants from Hispanic serving colleges. So do with that what
