In a surprising career pivot, rapper iLoveMakonnen has traded the studio for the kitchen. Since retiring from music in late 2024, the “Tuesday” hitmaker has embraced life as a chef, sharing videos of himself cooking in a restaurant and offering guest appearances for events. Fans are responding warmly to this quieter, grounded chapter in his life.

Meanwhile, as NBA YoungBoy kickstarts his Make America Slime Again tour in Dallas, he made a significant gesture by donating $50,000 to two nonprofits—Manifest Freedom and Urban Specialists—to help address violent crime and youth empowerment in the area. On a more tense note, Brittnay Renner, mother of PJ Washington’s child, sparked social media buzz after a heated custody exchange with the NBA star. The argument, which included accusations regarding financial neglect, unfolded in front of their tearful child and captured national attention.

Speaker 1 (00:02):
I'm a hustle.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
The Morning Hustle Lauriel and Kyles.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
You know what we're doing. We're back at it once again.
It's the Morning Hustle podcast.

Speaker 4 (00:11):
Baby Gloriol, Good morning, Top of the Morning to you account.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
New HAIRSI I see you. I know, Okay, what's happening?

Speaker 2 (00:20):
New hat? I see you.

Speaker 5 (00:22):
That's a new hat.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Yeah, somebody gave.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Hat, Kyle said to you, and I'm in the building, man,
were ready to get to it today and we're.

Speaker 6 (00:30):
Gonna have some fun today.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
First and foremost, you gotta have a conversation, man, tell
us about the time that you were in a place
and you were totally out of place and uncomfortable. Plus today,
defend your boy day Alter who you defended?

Speaker 7 (00:43):
That's right, man, my client? Uh P, your turn, sugar wreck,
Sugar sugar Right. Y'all heard them about him at the
US Open snatching the little boy hat tennis player. Well
he called me and I'm I'm gonna defend him today.

Speaker 6 (00:59):
I'm not so.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
I don't think you called him in the Sugar Stricker right.
So we're gonna open up the Morning House Report a
little bit later. Plus, Lorio, I know you got us
in the Lowdowns.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
What's happening that's right, And it looks like there's a
lot of talk around the young bug plus a working man.
It's nothing wrong with that. What's a who's whipping it
up in the kitchen? Plus NBA young Boy has his
first headlining tour ever and Kyle Sanat is trying to
make history.

Speaker 5 (01:25):
We'll talk all about it coming up in the Lowdown.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Plus in the news you can use man cracker barrel
can't get it right.

Speaker 8 (01:31):
We're gonna talk about it, but first let's kick things
off of Kyle's Message of the day and mine.

Speaker 9 (01:36):
Yeah, here's some quick inspiration to start your day.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Secut kyle Message of the Day.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Kyle's message of today today is decide if it's worth it,
then put in the effort. Decide if it's worth it,
then put in the effort. Like you know, a lot
of times people won't really see what you see when
it comes to doing certain things. But you got to
ask yourself, well I get out of it? Sometimes it's
not always money. Have you ever wanted to do something
that you knew would benefit you long term, but somebody

(02:07):
else might have said something to you like, well, I
don't know why you're doing that if you ain't getting
paid for it, well, it might have some other benefits, right,
I might get the I might get the experience I'm
looking for. I might get the lessons, you know what
I'm saying that I'm looking for some of the games.
It might be about some things that you don't really monetize. Man,
you might get other value from the things that you're doing.
So don't always worry about if it's a dollar amount

(02:28):
attached to it, because people are always going to question
you why when you're doing the thing that you need.

Speaker 6 (02:33):
To do for your own benefit. They don't always see
what you see.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Kyle's message of today today is decide if it's worth it,
then put.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
In the ethic and mine is start each day with
a positive thought like I can go back to bed
in just seventeen short hours.

Speaker 5 (02:51):
That'll keep it going.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
That'll keep it going. Load out has the loan own
load on the morning hustle.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Well, she may be surviving a lot of things, but
it ain't gonna be this today, okay. Gloria Gaina, it
has been found out that she has actually donated nearly
twenty two thousand dollars to conservative causes and coluding helping
out Donald Trump.

Speaker 5 (03:23):
Now we know her from Oh Nina.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
I will Survive Long is how I know how to
love my bad? Yeah, I kinda like the song this.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
Well, she's eighty one at this point, and she said
that she hopes to use her platform to inspire unity
through music. Since the girl this man is literally deporting
people that are not even from overseas.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Yeah, yeah, it ain't surviving nothing.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
You think we should cancel her?

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Like, yeah, I need nothing to counsel. I meant the SONGHL.

Speaker 5 (03:54):
People do that song at karaoke all the time.

Speaker 7 (03:58):
I used to play that a lot of Wind Joe.
This is their song, like sur Vin is a white
persons song.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
So she she's only surviving off their money anyway, So
you can have her. Now, let's talk about O Vo's
former rapper I Love mcconan. Remember he had that song
Got the Club going up on the Tuesday and today
would be Tuesday.

Speaker 5 (04:21):
Okay, Well, it looks like he was seen working in.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
A restaurant kitchen on social media, and of course people
were a little bit surprised. Others were showing him some support,
which is what I think we should be leaning towards.

Speaker 5 (04:35):
You know he had one hit. This was how long
ago in.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
Twenty sixteen, Yeah, twenty sixteen, it reached number twelve, and
then he came out as openly gay in twenty seventeen.

Speaker 7 (04:49):
You should have he should have went to Trader Joe's Rember,
Remember the dude from the cars.

Speaker 5 (04:54):
Yeah, it's because we can't find him. We don't know
what restaurant this is.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
It's career took off with.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
We're just saying if he had like a red lobster
biscuit in the basket and we would have known when it. Okay, well,
looks like somebody is happy and having a good week,
and that is Gilbert Arenas. It has been announced that
him and Skip Bayless are teaming up for a.

Speaker 5 (05:16):
New football show.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Okay, it's called The Arena Grid Irons.

Speaker 5 (05:23):
Yeah, okay, that's what it's say.

Speaker 4 (05:26):
Interesting, it's saying it's going to be produced and owned
by Underdog. I don't know who that is, but it
looks like it's going to be a program to tune into.

Speaker 5 (05:35):
You know, he talks a lot.

Speaker 7 (05:36):
He does talk a lot, but he just got a
lot of controversy that goes back.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
He just ain't grew up yet.

Speaker 5 (05:42):
Yeah, he hasn't grown up.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
I thought that, you know, he would be in jail
before this show would come out, but we'll see. He
is also a basketball player, so him seeking on football.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
That'll be interesting as well. I would love to say
his take.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
And as long as they don't take him to jail
for that casino sing.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
That he had in his house going on with the.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
Girl's body in Lissen allegedly allegedly allegedly allegedly all right,
last but not leased. It looks like a skateboarder is
out here suing Supreme for twenty six million dollars. He
goes by the name of Tashawn Jones. Nice looking young fella. Okay, well,
apparently he had a daily contract with Supreme that he

(06:25):
had to wear their clothes every day. He received eighty
three thousand a month roughly, right, Well, he was featured
in a Mark Jacob campaign and when Supreme saw this,
they was like, m no, Supreme hat no, Like we're
getting rid of your dell. He's like, ah, you owe
me more money. So well, who you think's wrong in
this situation? If he wore Supreme on his way to

(06:49):
the photo shoot, that's daily.

Speaker 7 (06:50):
Yes, enough, eighty three thousand, I'm wearing I look, I
wear Supreme Draws.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
I was Supreme Pieza, but he's.

Speaker 5 (06:59):
Been wearing it since the age of thirteen.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Go listen, I'm not going no.

Speaker 7 (07:03):
I mean, I don't know the contract, but that dude
seem like that's a conflict of interest.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
Well, he couldn't wear a Supreme hat and a Mark
Jacob's ad. Like, I feel like, if you're talking about wearing,
that's one thing on a daily basis. He is wearing Supreme,
but he's in an ad and that's.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
A total different thing.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
I don't feel like they really as long as he
wore Supreme that day. If he could say, I put
it in my stories, somebody photographed with.

Speaker 5 (07:28):
Me with Supreme on. He did his contractual duties.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
So them going out and saying that, well, basically he's
saying Supreme made false and damaging claims about him, because
think about it, other companies may not want to work
with him, thinking that he's not honoring his contract. But
he's like, I did exactly that, I had Supreme Draws
under my childhad and how can you prove me wrong? Okay,

(07:53):
I'm Larry, y'all got the lowdown I'll staying with him
to be wearing a brand from thirteen years though he's
twenty six. He's been wearing it since thirteen. For y'all
to just walk away because he has another brand deal,
that's a little crazy.

Speaker 7 (08:09):
Eighty three thousand dollars. You've been with all my every
day Listen, I'll see.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
A sapp Rocky and numerous different things, and DAYA does
numerous different than all these.

Speaker 7 (08:18):
People available Supreme. They don't evable.

Speaker 5 (08:22):
You don't even fit it.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
I'm going to the package yea, yeah, yeah, okay, yeah,
I'm down.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Yeah, let's go.

Speaker 5 (08:27):

each and every day. Don't forget today it's Tuesday on
the morning hustle.

Speaker 5 (08:50):

search them money. Had to keep us on to go
with you wherever you need to go, even on a Tuesday.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
That's right, because a lot of people are gonna wake
up today thinking it is Monday, because you're coming off
that holiday.

Speaker 6 (09:09):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (09:10):
No one thinks that we all was sleeping yesterday.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
All right, listen, man, today we want to know tell
us about the time that you were in a place
and you were completely out of place being there, like

out of place.

have something to do with the club though, But it
wasn't like the whole club.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
Oh okay, So back in the day, you know, you
know when house music was popping, you know that club
music or whatever, we used to.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Go to this club.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
Uh, and it was cool on the first floor. Uh huh,
it was cool on the second floor.

Speaker 6 (09:53):
I was just gonna see what's happening on.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
The third floor.

Speaker 6 (09:55):
Go to the third floor, and notice that it wasn't
a woman on.

What is it called commune at the time. Alright, so
I have to go back down to get in.

Speaker 6 (10:33):
Did you have a time that you were somewhere and
you was like, yo, I'm completely out of place.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
I definitely feel like when I traveled this summer and
went to Spain, I felt a little bit out of place.
One because they barely like us over there, they don't
like tourism. But then too, one of the people, like
on half of my trip that I travel with, she
speaks Spanish and I don't. So they was having a
whole conversation, her and the waiter for like an hour

(10:57):
and then I was like, oh what did he say?
She was like, oh, they got a special I want,
saying mad words like that's that. And then when I
went to order, he just was like okay.

Speaker 5 (11:09):
So I was like damn.

Speaker 4 (11:10):
And it was like every time, man, these jokes and
I'm like, well, what did they say? She was like, oh,
he's bringing water.

Speaker 6 (11:17):
What am I missing? You left out to you?

Speaker 7 (11:21):

I was went to a swingers club and just chilling
and this dude is getting ready to get it in
with this lady. And he looks at me and saying
and and and go. Now you lie said, I said,
I gotta go. It was somebody that followed me on

(11:45):
social media.

Speaker 1 (11:46):

Speaker 2 (11:47):
And I was like, you know what right before he
was ready to do his getting ready to get ready.

Speaker 5 (11:53):
No, he was probably as.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
I said, Yeah, okay, I'm back in here.

Speaker 8 (12:00):
Though.

Speaker 2 (12:00):

bit long.

Speaker 5 (12:13):
Did you do some things?

Speaker 2 (12:14):
But he said that I did not. I did not.
I thought about it, but I did not. After that
it was time to go.

Speaker 5 (12:20):
You can't just be in there looking.

Speaker 2 (12:22):

Speaker 6 (17:00):
What you got for us on me?

Speaker 1 (17:01):
Hey, I'm forty, so this is like thirty years ago,
but I'm in third grade New Black kids school. Make
friends with the little white boy because we had the
same birthday. So it's passed on my birthday party and
they invite me to come because you know, we had
the same birthday. But it took me years to kind
of realize it because you know, again black head, white family.

(17:23):
So as the family showing up me and my friend
in the back, again, it's our birthday party. So one
way up front, I felt like they were hoting us.
But this is thirty years before Magna. Imagine being the
only black kid in the Maga room full of Maga
white beyond awkward. And then when they when I pop
out the back and the whole family sees me with
the with the son that I called a couple a
couple of stairs and pulling them on to the side,

(17:43):
and I can see like, who's the black kid.

Speaker 5 (17:48):
That's weird, that's awkward.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
Appreciate you, bro.

Speaker 6 (17:51):
Sorry, I can relate though, and I felt like that
was my hotelhood.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
That's crazy.

Speaker 5 (17:55):
Wait, you were the white kid. No black people that.

Speaker 3 (17:59):
Know, the opposite, the one black head on the team,
the one black kad in the class, the one black
kad on the bus to.

one of my clients was there. I can't say his name,
so I'm just gonna try. And god, he's from Poland.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
I don't know what.

Speaker 7 (18:32):
I don't know, I said, but that's what we're gonna
go with. Sugar wreck was called snatching a hat from
a little boy. Y'all came at my client pocket and
I gotta defend him.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
I'm gonna do my best.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
He did.

Speaker 6 (18:45):
Court is in session when we come back, and sime
to defend your.

Speaker 2 (18:48):

Speaker 2 (19:09):
All right?

Speaker 11 (19:10):
Coming up to the stand. Is a spectator of the
US Open out with your client's fame a game.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
All right? Probably probably not right legally, but you know
we're going to go with it.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
Right now.

Speaker 11 (19:23):
He is accused of taking a cap from a young
fan because he said the fan did not move quick enough.

Speaker 6 (19:30):
Kyle Clan, Yes, thank you for the floor.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
Your honor, mister Charette is definitely I don't think that's
how to line your honor. What I would like to
propose is that we charge mister Chret with first degree
felony theft this morning and anytime that someone steals something
that is intended for somebody else, your honor. He absolutely
is a thief in this particular situation now that's happened

(19:55):
at the US Open, which took place in New York City,
the Big Apple, and first degree felony theft in New
York City item that's worth.

Speaker 6 (20:05):
Over fifty thousand dollars.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
Because I say this was an item that was from
a professional tennis player or in the market, this could
be worth thousands and thousands of dollars and it was
over fifty thousand dollars.

Speaker 6 (20:15):
This is a grand larceny charge.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
Oh yeah, Class C, and I want to push for
the maximum up to fifteen years, because why would you
dare steal something from a child?

Speaker 2 (20:26):
Fife, No, it's not.

Speaker 6 (20:28):
I want him to get out of jail. I'm in
this child as old as he is right now with jerk.

Speaker 5 (20:34):
Sorry, this is crazy.

Speaker 3 (20:39):
The prosecution is shooting for first degree grand larceny theft.
Class c and we are asking for this man to
get up to fifteen years for the damage for the
damages to the psyche he's done to this young boy.

Speaker 6 (20:53):
Uh, Doctor Alton Walker the floor, doctor doctor.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
First of all, I wanted to give a shout out,
shout out.

Speaker 7 (21:06):
Lori yell, because she is representing every tennis ball color.

Speaker 5 (21:15):
My hair I knew it. My hair is lime green.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
She came for the US Open.

Speaker 5 (21:23):
I am subboriding Naomi o Soka william.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
That's what I'm talking about. Already, your honor. He's trying
to butter up. It looks amazing.

Speaker 7 (21:41):
My client, Sugar Cugarette, that's my name, like, he had
a ski mask on and he robbed his little boy,
this man simply and you saw the video. The tennis
player took his head off, huh handed it out to
the boy.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
The boy reached out. My client snatched the hat and
said this, what do you say? Uh be quicker than that?

Speaker 7 (22:08):
Have you ever had to catch a bouquet or or
or gardet whatever the thing called the garden? The garden
that's that's that's pushing and shoving. Mike Crion didn't even
do that. He just reached out and grabbed it and
let me not let me mind. Let me take about
this part. The boy name is Rock Brock. That's not

(22:31):
a little boy name.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
That is an NFL line back of that. If his
name was Jadeen Caden Lord Day Day, then I will.

Speaker 3 (22:41):
You will have at whatever to do with this man.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
Name is Brock. He don't need protection, he need a
fall on one. K. My client is innocent.

Speaker 7 (22:52):
I don't know if you ever had a sweet potato
pie one left, but you don't care who's around your
little cousin, your little baby. You're gonna grab that potato,
especially bit mama. You have to do it.

Speaker 6 (23:04):
Probably anything the defenses.

Speaker 5 (23:07):
This is a terrible case.

Speaker 2 (23:09):
Party is are you ready to rest? It looked bad
on it looked bad to the Jersey police. It was
beyond if it was beyond. Thank you made one this one.

Speaker 4 (23:26):
Yeah, I have no idea what doctor Alton whatever talking about.

Speaker 6 (23:31):
It was a class give give.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
Counter class c thank you.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
Figure out.

Speaker 5 (23:40):
Guilty.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
Guilty as hell, you know, because we are the court
of Hustle.

Speaker 11 (23:46):
Uh we can't give him none of that, but we
will admonish him and uh what you can't We can't
really do nothing.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
So we're gonna publicly managed and embarrassed.

Speaker 5 (23:59):
All right, he embarrassed itself from that child, that's true.
Though that was a good one. That was you should
have been quicker with that comment.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
Lord Hill has a loan.

Speaker 5 (24:12):
Now here you go ta.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
Hustle.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
All right, let's get into it. Another reason why I
refuse to be a baby daddy.

Speaker 5 (24:21):
Well, you actually are a baby daddy, but also a husband,
you are actually.

Speaker 4 (24:31):
Okay, Well, let's talk about NBA Young Boy first and foremost.
He's definitely a baby daddy. And he kicked off his
first headlining to our period. First time he's touring in
five years. We know he's been under house arrest for
quite some time.

Speaker 5 (24:45):
Make America Slime again, the massive tour.

Speaker 4 (24:49):
Okay, So he kicked it off in Dallas, and he
came out in a casket.

Speaker 5 (24:56):
Okay, So coming back.

Speaker 4 (24:57):
From the dead is what I'm guessing that symbolizing because
he wasn't able to come out at all. It's a
bunch of people that's going to pop out with him,
though Offset is also on this tour. But before he
went on stage, he donated fifty thousand dollars to different
nonprofits across Dallas.

Speaker 1 (25:14):
Basically just to help try to stop the crimes. You know,
a lot of people be getting hurt, so and not
really cool at this point to me, So I just
want to help in any way I could.

Speaker 5 (25:27):
So he is helping out the community. Chris Brown.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
On the other side of things, he performed and made
history selling out Truest Park in Atlanta two nights in
a row. That's forty one thousand people a night. Yeah, okay,
and the first night some people tickets completely disappeared.

Speaker 5 (25:43):
They were upset. Thank god those people. Wasn't me?

Speaker 10 (25:47):
Boy?

Speaker 4 (25:48):
Yeah, I definitely had a good time at this concert.
And let me tell y'all something. He performed for like
two and a half hours. I'm like, all right, he's
doing his latest song. It's probably over. So I left
because I wanted to beat the traffic. My friend texts
me an hour after, like, all right, we're about to
get about it.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
I'm not.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
Could I tell you this man didn't take a sip
of water. He changed his outfit probably like twice so
quick that it was he was flying across the sky.

Speaker 5 (26:13):
It was incredible. So sorry for those people who but
I had a time. Okay. It looks like August I've
seen this being called out.

Speaker 4 (26:22):
He stepped out this weekend for a Black Gay Pride
weekend okay, and he hosted an event alongside his boyfriend Zoo.
Now Zoo is twenty two years old currently. Apparently the
two of them knew each other for five years.

Speaker 5 (26:37):
We found this out because Zoo wrote like a whole
heartfelt post.

Speaker 8 (26:40):
Right.

Speaker 5 (26:40):
Well, then people started doing the math.

Speaker 4 (26:42):
It was like five years that would make him seventeen,
and what the hell was August doing with him?

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Then?

Speaker 4 (26:48):
August is currently thirty two, so he's defending their relationship
though they're saying that August groomed him. Would you think
that that was a similar situation as Jada, because I
believe they said that August met her fairly young and
what not as a teenager though, I mean, but like
twenty early twenties and she was damned fifty a twenty

(27:10):
yeah right, I don't know. I feel like when it
comes to the age difference for certain people, they're like
harder on others than they are. I guess this is
a ten year age difference. People didn't really have any
problems with it until they found out how old it
was that they met. But they always gave this woman
Brittany Runner. They gave her a lot of slack when
she was dating PJ.

Speaker 5 (27:30):
Washington. Okay, so the two of them are going back
and forth.

Speaker 4 (27:34):
She's no longer Muslim, or she ain't wearing the heat
jab if she is, and she out there cursing and well,
and apparently they had an exchange for the child, right
and it didn't go so well, this is what we're
not doing.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
So every time that he doesn't, it's not okay.

Speaker 9 (27:52):
You know, this is the third time.

Speaker 5 (27:57):
It's the third time he's done it.

Speaker 7 (28:00):
He doesn't want to go with you, so actually show up,
Actually show up and do something.

Speaker 5 (28:04):
There with him.

Speaker 4 (28:06):
It escalated they it's got taken into the jiveway. She
started arguing with his current wife, the mother. Britney's mother
got involved.

Speaker 5 (28:15):
They got a little you.

Speaker 4 (28:17):
Know, disrespectful with each other. But this just makes me say,
bring back the McDonald's drop offs.

Speaker 5 (28:25):
Because I remember little my mom and my day. You
could be at McDonald's.

Speaker 4 (28:28):
You get what I'm saying, Smooth drop off, You got
that happy nail on your ways.

Speaker 5 (28:33):
So no one's crying, like but I can.

Speaker 4 (28:35):
Only imagine like her being a mom, right you having
your kid full time? And I get that the dad
has visitation, but it has to be heartbreaking to have
your child go crying and kicking and screaming like that,
knowing that there's nothing you could do about it because
it's the father.

Speaker 5 (28:52):
You need to figure that out. I'm lourry, y'all. That's
the lowdown.

Speaker 4 (28:55):
You could follow me at starn luriy y'all, l O
r E l or mona so show. And I don't
think arguing in front of the kid is the answer.

Speaker 6 (29:01):
That's definitely not the answer at all.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
All right, stick around. News you can use is on
the way man cracker barrel can't catch a break?

Speaker 1 (29:08):
Can they?

Speaker 2 (29:10):
I mess it?

Speaker 5 (29:11):
What happened?

Speaker 6 (29:12):
We'll talk about it coming up.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
The news you can use.

Speaker 5 (29:14):
Yeah, wait, news you can use on the Morning Hustle.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
Were in the building.

Speaker 3 (29:21):

Speaker 5 (29:35):

Speaker 3 (29:36):
All right, let's get into this news you can use
before we dive into these other stories. Uh, their speculation
about whether or not Trump is alive that's been going
on over the weekend.

Speaker 6 (29:44):
You know, when we get some confirmation, we'll talk about it.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (29:48):
Secondly, thoughts and prayers going out to the people up Afghanistan.
There was an earthquake that hit six point zero earthquake
and it looks as though about eight hundred people have
passed away, wiping out entire villages due to this earthquake.
I'm sure you'll see some more about that story in
the news as well. So I thought some prayers are
going to those people that.

Speaker 6 (30:07):
Are dealing with that.

Speaker 3 (30:09):
Now, let's get the Cracker Barrel really quick. We all
know that they were under fire for changing their logo.
You know what I'm saying. The people that are die
hard Cracker Barrel fans didn't like that they remove the
cracker and the barrel, so Cracker Barrel replaced them both,
you know what I mean. But there's something else that
they removed now other people are upset about it.

Speaker 5 (30:29):
Pancake.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
No.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
Apparently they removed quietly the pride and diversity content from
his website. They used to have pages that refer to
the company's LGBTQ Plus Alliance and DEI Initiatives. And while
everybody was arguing about the logo, they quietly removed those
things from the website behind the scenes. And when people
started noticing, now they're upset.

Speaker 4 (30:52):
Is this the same place that didn't want black people
eating there a few years ago?

Speaker 5 (30:56):
Are y'all crazy?

Speaker 2 (30:57):
Ain't nobody upset?

Speaker 4 (30:59):
Man?

Speaker 2 (31:00):
Come on, did y'all really think they even had it
in the first place?

Speaker 3 (31:04):
Right?

Speaker 2 (31:05):
Come on? Now, ain't nobody mad about that? This is
you know, Cracker Barrel.

Speaker 3 (31:09):
Either they go to their core audience, which wanted the
logo back, or they go to the other audience, which
once you know, these pages back and I think.

Speaker 5 (31:17):
Their name is Cracker bar audience.

Speaker 2 (31:21):
They're gonna stick with their own people.

Speaker 6 (31:23):
I'm sure you know.

Speaker 5 (31:24):
Who Barl is, Joe Barrow, Cracker Barrel.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
Tell me black.

Speaker 5 (31:29):
Barrel, not brown barrel.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
Cracker exactly? What power?

Speaker 5 (31:39):
What power?

Speaker 2 (31:39):
All right? Them?

Speaker 3 (31:40):
Tell me if you guys agree with this? Now, I
spent I spent a lot of time in detention in
middle school.

Speaker 6 (31:47):
Alton. You have your nephew that you are because I
want to know. I want to know how you kill.
I want to know how you feel as this applied
to him right Robert Coleman Elementary.

Speaker 3 (31:59):
They swapped out the attention for what they call quote mindful,
a mindful moment room where instead of going to detention,
you go into this room and you practice breathing, you
practice meditation. The school has partnered with the Holistic Life
Foundation Holistic Me program. They offer yoga, mindfulness, guarding and
leadership opportunities and these relaxation techniques for the students when

(32:23):
they get in trouble rather than just sending them to detention.

Speaker 5 (32:26):
This is because y'all was letting your kids eat your.

Speaker 4 (32:28):
Gummies and now they need stuff Like like, I was
so bad at one point in time. I don't feel
like this would have worked for me.

Speaker 6 (32:37):
I was gonna ask you.

Speaker 4 (32:38):
I feel like it depends on the student. I feel
like sometimes you may just need a moment.

Speaker 5 (32:43):
Some people need a whooping. Okay, Like there is like
you need to know the difference.

Speaker 3 (32:47):
Okay, I'll say, if you were gonna put your nephew
in a mindful moment room, he need.

Speaker 7 (32:52):
A Whoopingna he gonna go to sleep. That ain't gonna work, man,
That's not about to work. These kids about the follow
the meditation. I mean, I understand the idea.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
I get it. I just feel like these schools need
to revamp their whole way.

Speaker 5 (33:04):
But I think that's right.

Speaker 4 (33:05):
Though they have nap time and that sometimes gives them,
you know, a little moment to calm down.

Speaker 6 (33:11):
Okay, we'll check this out.

Speaker 3 (33:12):
Since they adopted this program in twenty fourteen twenty fifteen
school year, the school has reported zero suspensions, so it's
apparently working there.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
What grade is this?

Speaker 3 (33:21):
Everybody surprised? Face elementary elementary school?

Speaker 1 (33:25):
I mean that time.

Speaker 4 (33:30):
You don't get suspended for real at element elementary school
till you get in like high school school, middle school.

Speaker 8 (33:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (33:36):
I didn't get suspended in element I got suspended a
lot of times in middle school.

Speaker 5 (33:41):
I never got access and everything I had.

Speaker 3 (33:43):
Iss I didn't have what you had, But I didn't
get in trouble for like bad stuff Like I would
just be like joking.

Speaker 5 (33:48):
And talking and spend it for three weeks. Time.

Speaker 3 (33:52):
We had a program called demerits. Every time you do
something you get in trouble for, you get a demerit.
Every five demerits was a suspension or detention. Yeah, me
and my friend we led the school in demerits.

Speaker 2 (34:03):
Yeah, nah, I just got attention.

Speaker 7 (34:06):
The only time I got attention was a substitute gave
me attention for farting. Okay, but I thought it was
gonna be a silent poop. But you know them dog
on plays I get down, you know on blue plastic seats.
They amplified you.

Speaker 5 (34:20):
You shouldn't want to buy from that's up.
